How the Upcoming Charlie's Angels Reboot Will Differ From Previous Films

Charlie's Angels is getting rebooted with a whole new generation of actresses, but you can rest assured it will be a brand-new take on the franchise. While chatting with Entertainment Tonight, Kristen Stewart discussed how the upcoming film will be different from past iterations as she addressed fellow Angel Lucy Liu's comments that the reboot is a "positive result for women."

Earlier this week, Liu, who previously appeared in the hit 2000 film and its 2003 sequel, gave the reboot her seal of approval, telling ET, "It's like Sherlock Holmes. The material in itself is a very different type of literature - and it's not necessarily literature. But it is something that people keep coming back to and they're drawn to. That's something that needs to be explored and if it needs to be explored on all different levels, then it should be."

Stewart, of course, was flattered by the response and agreed that the new film would definitely bring something new to the table. "That is really cool that she said that," Stewart told ET. "It is true I think, it is not maybe everyone's immediate response that [Charlie's Angels] would be, like, something we would have to see again because the one I grew up with was so much fun . . . "

She added that the upcoming reboot, which also stars Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska, will further promote female empowerment. "The re-imagining is so grounded and well intentioned and really shows the way women can work together now. It tries to be warm and funny, but it lacks a kitch element that we have seen before that works so well. We are not trying to do an impression of the last one, so yeah, I think [director Elizabeth Banks] is like so genuinely naturally funny all the time anyway."

Taissa Farmiga Will Be Playing TWO Characters in American Horror Story: Apocalypse

The eighth season of American Horror Story, which has been dubbed Apocalypse, is getting quite crowded. Not only is there a rather large cast, but a few stars will also be pulling double duty as multiple characters. The latest to be doing such a feat is Taissa Farmiga, who played Violet Harmon in season one, Murder House, and Zoe Benson in season three, Coven. This week, Entertainment Weekly confirmed that Farmiga will be reprising both roles in the new season, which drops Sept. 12.

Previously, creator Ryan Murphy revealed that Farmiga had once again entered into the fold to rejoin our favorite coven out of New Orleans. She appeared in a spooky cast photo, wearing black of course. But the fact that Farmiga will also reprise her role as Violet is pretty exciting. The announcement comes hot off the news that Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott will be back to once again play the respective roles of Vivien and Ben Harmon. That means the whole family is back together again . . . but we're not sure it will be a joyous reunion.

Things may be strange for the Harmons once they enter the world of Apocalypse. Especially since, you know, they're all dead by the end of season one. (Spoiler alert?) Even though the Harmons may just be haunting their way through the season as vengeful spirits, it's one more exciting layer in what might just be the most complex entry to the series yet. We can't f*cking wait.

Do You Actually Need Cardio For Weight Loss? You Might Like This Expert's Answer

There are two types of people in this world: those who love cardio and those who despise it. If you're the latter, trying to lose weight and refusing to do an ounce of cardio, we've got good news: it's not necessary for weight loss.

"I don't think it's absolutely necessary," Rondel King, MS, CSCS, CES, and exercise physiologist at NYU Langone's Sports Performance Center, told POPSUGAR. "What it comes down to is energy in, energy out." Although cardio won't make or break your weight loss, Rondel said it does help. Another form of exercise that will help you lose weight, and build lean muscle while you're at it, is weightlifting.

The Benefits of Cardio and Weightlifting For Weight Loss

"Having the cardio would definitely increase your cardiorespiratory fitness, and it'd just make you more functional in general," Rondel said. On the other hand, resistance training "would give you more muscle mass, and as a result, you will boost your metabolism and your resting energy expenditure. It'll be higher because muscle is the most metabolically active tissue in the body," Rondel explained. The bottom line: the more muscle you have, the more calories you will expend.

How Muscle Helps You Burn More Calories

To understand this better, Rondel said, "Think about muscles as little furnaces for utilizing energy (they store energy as well)." According to Rondel, "The more muscle you have, you just expend more calories in your resting metabolic rate. . . . The resting energy expenditure is higher with individuals with more muscles." He further explained that this is because individuals with more muscle mass are generally more active. Implementing strength training into your workout routine will help you lose weight, but it's also important to watch your caloric intake.

How Your Calorie Intake Affects Weight Loss

When it comes to the amount of calories you consume, "It's all about balance," Rondel said. A football player needs more muscle mass to excel on the field, and as a result, they'll need to consume more calories than the general population. If you're very active, you're going to need an adequate amount of calories to fuel that activity. If you aren't exercising much and eating a surplus of calories, Rondel said "that essentially puts you in a positive energy balance where you're eating calories you're not utilizing." When these calories aren't utilized, they get stored in the form of fat.

In contrast, if you're very active and your caloric intake from food is low, you'll experience weight loss in the form of losing fat or potentially losing muscle. To prevent muscle catabolism, you'll want to eat enough calories to fuel activity. This will also prevent you from feeling hungry all of the time. He explained that if you're trying to lose weight, "your activity needs to be higher than the energy you're ingesting." To figure out the exact amount of calories you need, Rondel recommends getting a resting metabolic test and consulting a dietitian to create a nutrition plan specific to your goals.

At the end of the day, there isn't one training modality or one diet that will help you lose weight. We encourage you to continue doing research and to try out different diets and training methods in order to find what works best for you. Before starting a new diet or training program, be sure to consult experts in those respective fields.

These Are the Heels I've Willingly Stood in All Day Long

There's something about wearing a pair of heels that just makes you feel put together; sadly, they're pretty rough on your feet. So usually, my days are spent in sneakers, flat boots, or sandals, just because I can't stand to be uncomfortable. Still, when I stumbled on these Sam Edelman Sammy Sandals ($120), I had to bring them home, planning on them being more of a special-occasion shoe.

One morning, I decided to wear them to brunch, thinking I'd be back home in a couple of hours. But brunch turned into running a few errands and then heading to a party, and before I knew it, I was at dinner. Between walking around New York City all day long and standing at parties, during happy hours, and on the subway, my feet never got achy or sore.

I think Sam Edelman shoes are some of the most comfortable out there, but I was really impressed with this adorable pair. The straps don't dig into my feet and actually keep me feeling secure. They also come in a sandy color, but I love the black, because they'll seamlessly transition to Fall. Suffice it to say, if you're on your feet all day but still want to rock your heels, you have to try these.

The 1 Boot You Need For Fall 2018, in a Nutshell

Sure, the pin-thin '80s heel and chunky combats are still popular, but the one silhouette you won't be able to ignore this Fall is the Western-inspired cowboy boot. It doesn't just boil down to Kylie Jenner's thigh highs, Dua Lipa's cowgirl style, or Rihanna's cult-favorite Off-White x Jimmy Choo puffers, though these looks certainly gave rise to the viral sensation that is cowboy boots.

Now, they're becoming mainstream. You can find them all over the streets and in plenty of colors, heights, and finishes at your favorite retailers. So while you can definitely get away with keeping your staple booties on rotation, you're going to feel fresh as hell trying out a shape that's brand new. Need some pointers for your outfit? 8 of the Richest Women in Beauty Making Money Moves

The beauty industry has historically been a nurturing space for female entrepreneurs. Heritage brands such as Elizabeth Arden, Estée Lauder, and Merle Norman are named after the ambitious young women who founded their own companies in the 20th century. In 2018, the game has definitely changed - roaming Avon ladies have been replaced by Facebook friends selling products, and old-school ads are starting to take a backseat to social media posts. A new generation of female founders has emerged - and jeez, are they reaping the monetary benefits.

Forbes released its annual list of the richest self-made women, which included some beauty brand founders. While we'll let Twitter debate whether or not Kardashian/Jenner sisters fit the definition of "self-made," it's hard to not be impressed by the mammoth success the following seven women have reached in their careers.

7 Beauty Brands That Have Bid Adieu to Retouching

If you use FaceTune to blur out a blemish or whiten your teeth before posting an Instagram thirst trap, you're definitely not alone. Once strictly a photographer's tool reserved for glossy, star-studded advertisements, retouching has trickled down to everyday people who just want clear skin or a thinner arm at the swipe of a finger. But, as countless "Photoshop fails" have taught us, sometimes editing can go too far.

Perhaps as a response to the impossible beauty standards frequently demonstrated in picture-perfect advertisements, beauty brands have begun to break up with the process. In what is shaping up to be 2018's most empowering trend, both large organizations like CVS Beauty and indie start-ups such as SPKTRM are showcasing models in all their natural glory. Read on to see every stunning campaign.

I Worked in Retail For 5 Years, and These Are the Only Flats I Could Stand In All Day

Since I'm a shopping editor, people always ask me for advice on what's the best of the best. One question I often field is, "What are the most comfortable flats?" I can speak from experience that these Sam Edelman Felicia Flats ($70-$100) are total winners.

In college, I started working in retail. I often spent six to eight hours, at least five days a week, walking in circles around a store, wreaking havoc on my feet wearing heeled shoes or too-flat flats. After what felt like years of trial-and-error runs of every shoe possible, I finally came to the conclusion that the Felicia flats are my favorite.

Aside from the cute, classic ballet style, I was attracted to them because of the cushioned heeled soles and flexible backs. Importantly, it's a flat that offers support and doesn't cut into the backs of my ankles. From leather to suede, metallic, printed fabric, and even calf-hair, the flats come in an array of materials and more colors and designs than I can even count. A number of their classic styles also come in medium, narrow, and wide choices. What could make them even better? They cost $100 - making them the most glamorous pair I could afford during my college days, but they lasted me for years. I found myself investing in new styles and colors anytime I could, knowing this was the shoe I could always rely on.

Do yourself (and your feet) a favor and get a pair for Fall; you won't regret it. Keep scrolling to shop a few of my favorite picks.

Hold Onto Your Pirate Hats! Jack Sparrow's Hitting Netflix in Time For Your Next Family Movie Night

Hang onto your pirate hats, mateys! Captain Jack Sparrow is hitting Netflix in September just in time for your next family movie night. Although it feels like there have been 40 Pirates of the Caribbean movies made (there are actually five), Netflix is bringing back the OG, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, and it's the perfect time to introduce your tweens and teens to the Captain and his motley crew.

While later installments of the franchise have gotten progressively more and more intense (hello, walking dead pirates in Dead Men Tell No Tales), the original film - though it features sword fights and a few guns - is pretty tame. It's rated PG-13, but your tween can likely handle the action - and, not to mention, the comedy well outweighs everything else in our opinion.

Catch Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl streaming on Netflix come Sept. 25, and check back in on Aug. 22 to see Netflix's full September lineup for families and kids (both movies and TV shows!)

I Love This Flattering Wrap Dress So Much, I've Worn It Once a Week For an Entire Year

I had been on a quest for the perfect little black dress for months, without any luck. I am a big-time shopper, so I'm not exaggerating when I say I tried on hundreds of options. Finally, on a Friday, sifting through the racks of Nordstrom, I came across this Topshop Ruffle Minidress ($55). I immediately ran into the fitting room, and even under unflattering, harsh lighting, I looked great in the piece. I loved it so much, I bought it in two colors on the spot.

That was a year ago, and I still find myself reaching for that same dress every weekend when I'm going out. So what makes it so special? For starters, it's a wrap dress, which is a universally flattering silhouette for women. I have a curvier, hourglass figure, and this dress lays in all the right places - it cinches my waist, shows off just a hint of cleavage, and covers my upper arms. It ticks off all the boxes on my checklist.

It's a wrap dress, which is a universally flattering silhouette for women.

The ruffled skirt adds a bit of movement, and the button-front closure allows me to never worry about my dress flying open (let's be real - that's a legitimate worry with wrap dresses). The 100 percent polyester fabric never creases or wrinkles, even when I'm sitting down. Its versatile silhouette allows me to style the look in many ways; I have worn the dress with sneakers and a denim jacket as well as with heels and a leather jacket.

I'm telling you: this is a magical dress. Buy one for yourself before it sells out and you'll be as obsessed as I am - pinky promise.

6 VMAs Moments You Probably Appreciated If You're an Older Millennial

For an older millennial - someone typically born between 1980 and 1990 - watching music award shows can be a glaring reminder of your mortality. I know I sound dramatic, but nothing has made me feel older in the past year than trying to tell the difference between Lil Xan, Lil Yachty, Lil Pump, and Lil Uzi Vert. And while watching the MTV VMAs on Monday night, I felt like I was finally understanding what it must have been like for those older than me, watching the same show in the late '90s and early 2000s and side-eyeing me for bopping along to the boy bands and pop princesses who were seemingly taking over the music scene. I found myself feeling particularly nostalgic for the VMAs of my youth: Britney Spears dancing with a python; Diana Ross jiggling Lil' Kim's boob; Fiona Apple telling the crowd that "this world is bullsh*t."

We're always going to feel strongly about the trends and pop culture moments of our adolescence. The "best" Saturday Night Live cast is usually going to be the one you watched when you were in high school, and the "golden age" of music is likely whichever age you grew up during (shout-out to the gangster rappers, bubblegum pop stars, and female singer-songwriters who influenced my own teen years). And as much as I enjoy a lot of the current popular artists who performed and presented on stage at the VMAs this year (you guys, I'm not a regular old millennial, I'm a cool old millennial), I was still hoping for some signs of the old MTV - before Teen Mom and YouTube personalities and having to distinguish between 20-year-old mumble rappers.

In small ways, MTV delivered on that. There were subtle nods to those of us old enough to remember cringing as Courtney Love threw her compact at Madonna during an interview with Kurt Loder (how '90s is that?) and cringing even harder when newlyweds Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley made out on stage. This year's show welcomed iconic musicians to perform, reunited the cast of a beloved reality TV show, and honored the career of one of our generation's true triple threats. Here are the six things I identified with while watching the VMAs as an old millennial.

Alison Brie's Red Carpet Evolution Will Make You Glow Green With Envy

Alison Brie is no stranger to the red carpet, with over a decade of roles in the likes of Mad Men, The Five Year Engagement, and Community under her belt. But her work on GLOW has taken her star to new heights, and her wardrobe has soared with her. As Ruth on the Netflix hit, she's forced into some of the ugliest '80s trends imaginable (and don't get us started on that hair). So perhaps it's no surprise that off screen, she likes to keep things modern and cool. Never afraid to take a look to new levels with edgy jewelry, experimental beauty looks, or statement shoes, Alison serves up a fresh new look at every event, be it a playful brocade dress worn over a classic white tee or a giant black ballgown that hides trousers underneath. Many of her looks from late 2017 and during award season came courtesy of stylist Cristina Ehrlich, who's also responsible for the chic looks we see on the likes of Mandy Moore, Mindy Kaling, and Penélope Cruz. More recently, she's been working with Erin Walsh, whose clients include Thandie Newton and Sarah Jessica Parker. Both have crafted her a wardrobe that's fearless, stylish, and always unexpected. Just take a look back at some of her best moments from the last couple of years for proof.

This Adorable Kitty Absolutely LOVES the Ocean, and I'm Sorry, Say What?

As the owner of three adorable - and slightly rotund - felines, I'm pretty much a sucker for any cute kitty in sight. And while there's no doubt cats are my favorite animals on planet earth, I'd be lying if I said my brood was particularly talented at anything other than waking me up at 3 a.m. for food and sleeping all dang day. But apparently, not all kitties are quite as lazy. Meet Nathan - or Nathan the Beach Cat to his 318,000 Instagram followers - a 1-year-old black cat who is taking the internet by storm with his insane swimming skills.

After being found in a box on the freeway in Australia, Nathan was eventually adopted by his humans, Rian and Mel, and boy, is he living the good life. Although it's a pretty well-known fact that all cats absolutely loathe water in any way, shape, or form, Nathan prefers to spend his time swimming with his parents and lounging on the beach.

Luckily for any pet-lover with an Instagram account, Mel and Rian are there to document Nathan's frequent beach trips, and we can't get enough. Scroll through to see photos and videos of Nathan living his very best life.

Princess Diana Owned the Coolest, Sexiest Swimsuits, and She Looked Like a Model in Them All

Some of the most iconic photos of Princess Diana include her vacationing with her family or sporting splashy swimsuits in the South of France. While her Summer wardrobe included gorgeous pleated dresses and preppy tailored separates, the late royal's swimwear reigned supreme. Your eyes have likely never glossed over a floral bikini set as picture perfect as Diana's, and her colorblock maillots and animal print designs are exactly what you were searching for before you started reading this. We rounded up some memorable snapshots of Princess Diana on holiday, and lucky for you, we found a handful of similar suits nearly identical to the ones she owned. If this doesn't prove that Diana is one of the most classic fashion icons to this day, really, what will?

This Detail Will Make You Love Kylie Jenner's Dress Even More

If we were allowed to have one look at Kylie Jenner's closet, here are the things that we would see: incredibly sexy bikinis, hypnotizing heels, and mini dresses that perfectly show off her famous curves. So when the 21-year-old star stepped out in a little bodycon number by Alexander Wang, we weren't necessarily surprised. Well, until we took a closer look at her ensemble, that is.

For a night out in New York, Kylie wore a fiery red minidress that featured black spaghetti straps. While at first glance it could have looked like any other little red dress, the young star stood out thanks to the brocade detailing that covered her outfit. She finished her ensemble with long pendant earrings, black strappy heels, and a handbag covered in diamante. Ahead, get a closer look at Kylie's Alexander Wang dress, and then shop similar options for yourself.

If I'd Had Travis Scott's Upside-Down Von Dutch Hat in Middle School, I Would've Felt So Cool

When I was in middle school, I wanted a Von Dutch hat so badly that I dragged my mom to the corner boutique and insisted we buy the last one it had in stock. It was poop brown. "Do you really want that color, though? All the ones you showed me were pink and purple and pretty," she said. But I did want it. I needed my Von Dutch hat to be authentic, even though $50 was a ridiculous price to pay for a trucker cap. And so I owned one in poop brown. Then I bought the "fake" version in pink with my allowance, which probably only set me back like $25.

But Travis Scott won, because Travis Scott has an UPSIDE-DOWN Von Dutch hat, and I don't care what year it is. He wore it to the MTV VMAs, sitting by Kylie Jenner's side, cooly displaying his camo accessory in the audience. It's actually a piece from LA-based designer Bana Bongolan, whom Scott has publicly supported before, thereby helping to sell out the upside-down Von Dutch masterpiece instantly. So I can't have it. But I bet you Kylie can.

After all, in 2016, Kylie had a brief Spring/Summer phase when she tried to bring back Von Dutch. She posted at least three selfies in various items from the brand that garnered attention on social media. These days, nostalgia is all the rage (hello, The Hills is coming back and Gigi Hadid is wearing bell bottoms straight out of old Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen movies!), so I can imagine Kylie and Travis bringing back the look with glee. In fact, I really bet you baby Stormi has a Von Dutch onesie. And I'm most jealous of that.

Read on to see Travis and Kylie in Von Dutch, and even shop a few statement truckers for yourself!

Aw! Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Have Added a New Dog to Their Royally Cute Family

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly added a new furry friend to their family - I knew I liked them. According to People, the royal newlyweds welcomed a Labrador toward the beginning of Summer, and their new pup has already joined them at home in Nottingham Cottage and on countryside adventures.

Meghan, who brought her beagle Guy across the pond when she married Harry, is already known to be quite a dog lover, so she's in good company with her husband (an actual dog whisperer) and the rest of the royal family. She shares her affinity for dogs with Queen Elizabeth, who has been the proud owner of many corgis during her reign. The couple also followed in the footsteps of Prince William and Kate Middleton, who welcomed Cocker Spaniel Lupo after their own wedding.

In the name of research, I've compiled evidence a few photos of Meghan and Harry's natural magnetism toward pups, which you can check out below.

To Menstrual Cup or Not to Menstrual Cup? These Experts Have Answers

Selecting the right feminine hygiene product for your cycle is an intensely personal choice. Some women are most comfortable in maxi pads, while others swear by period-proof underwear. But for long wear and convenience, two feminine hygiene products typically duke it out: tampons and menstrual cups. So what's the real difference between these two methods? Is one safer or "better" than the other?

Amandine Pranlas-Descours, global brand director for menstrual cup manufacturer Intimina, said that it depends on the material. "Cups [that] are made of medical-grade silicone have a lot of health benefits, compared to tampons," she said. "Medical-grade silicone is a supersafe material - ours is actually the same material they use in surgical implants and pacemakers. The material is inert, so it doesn't affect the natural pH balance of the body. It's hypoallergenic, latex-free, phthalate-free, and contains zero toxins."

Dr. Shari Lawson, M.D., assistant professor of gynecology and obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, added that there can be both health and environmental benefits to using menstrual cups. "Some women are really concerned about some of the chemicals and bleach that are used in tampons," she noted. "Additionally, the reusable versions of the cup are fairly environmentally friendly because you just rinse and reuse - no tampons to flush into the sewer system or plastic packed pads to fill the landfill."

There are also additional health benefits, explained Pranlas-Descours. Menstrual cups, she said, don't absorb any moisture - they just hold the menstrual fluid until removed, so they don't dry out the tissue or cause irritation. Tampon fibers, on the other hand, absorb all fluid - including much-needed discharge that keeps our vaginas healthy and comfortable.

Lawson said that while some people may be hesitant about using a menstrual cup, there is really no reason to feel any differently about a menstrual cup vs. a tampon. "The menstrual cups come in two sizes, and if you can insert a tampon, you can probably use one," she said. "Like a tampon, you shouldn't feel it if it's in the right place. There isn't really a way to injure yourself using a menstrual cup - just be sure to wash your hands and keep your nails short."

Dr. Betty Chou, M.D., assistant professor of gynecology and obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, said that while she has some patients who prefer to use a menstrual cup, you should still be aware of how long you have been wearing one. "Like tampons, they have the same very small risk of toxic shock syndrome (TSS) but are generally considered safe to use," she said. "I've never had a patient who has had an injury from using a menstrual cup," she said.

Like all things concerning your period, which feminine hygiene method you choose is completely up to your personal preference and lifestyle, and both tampons and menstrual cups are considered perfectly safe to use. Do your homework, experiment, and don't be afraid to switch it up until you find the method that works for you.

That Meghan Markle Outfit Everyone Was Talking About? You Can Now Find It at Zara

I've been obsessed with Meghan Markle and her incredibly chic wardrobe since the first time I saw her in Suits. Sure, her style has ever-so-slightly changed since she became Mrs. Prince Harry, but it's actually made me love her even more. While the Duchess of Sussex does follow most of the rules, she also knows what she loves, and she certainly isn't afraid to push the boundaries.

For her very first appearance at Trooping the Colour, Meghan stunned in a pink off-the-shoulder ensemble by Carolina Herrera, and I still remember thinking, "Wow, she looks breathtaking." Accessorized with a matching Philip Treacy hat and a clutch, her outfit was sophisticated and elegant (if not a little protocol-breaking), and I've been thinking about it ever since - so you can imagine my delight when I came across a Zara blazer that looks exactly like the top half of the stunning Herrera creation.

While the blazer in question comes in a fiery red instead of a powder pink, I immediately recognized the gorgeous bateau neckline and its fold-over collar. The other two main differences are the presence of pockets and two rows of buttons instead of one, but it didn't keep me from immediately adding the piece to my shopping cart. Read on for a reminder of what Meghan's Trooping the Colour outfit looked like, and shop the Zara creation before everyone starts wearing it.

Gigi Hadid Is Wearing the Jeans Mary-Kate and Ashley Made Cool in 2002

Are they back? Could they be!? These are the thoughts that ran through my head when Gigi Hadid stepped out in NYC wearing the distressed flares of my 2002 dreams. They have little snippets at the ankle, all to better show off her chunky platforms and that signature fade at the hem any girl would recognize from Limited Too's archives. These jeans, designed by Trave, are slightly low-slung, and, when worn with a micro top like Gigi's, they are the focal point of the outfit.

Personally, I became obsessed with them while watching Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in Holiday in the Sun as they climbed aboard the private yacht in the last scene to find "the evidence," their dark-wash bell bottoms trailing all the while. MK and A also wore similar styles in Getting There, which was released in 2002, even trying out the same silhouette in corduroy. But you can't bring up such denim without referencing Britney Spears, who owned her fair share in the exact same cut.

I don't know about you, but I plan to fully embrace this resurgence, and Gigi and I aren't alone. Victoria Beckham must've had an inkling and rocked a pair with a white tee during Fashion Week in 2017 and CR Fashion Book editor Carine Roitfeld recently shared her own roughed-up iteration on Instagram. Even Kylie Jenner is a fan! Scroll to backtrack on these jeans you so obviously need for Fall 2018, then shop some of our favorite picks that are beginning to hit the market.

The Reason Meghan Markle Wears Shoes That Are Too Big For Her Is SO Relatable

Whether she's on a trip with the queen, celebrating important royal events, or simply attending a family member's wedding, Meghan Markle's outfits always end up being the center of attention. Since her relationship with Prince Harry became public, eagle-eyed fans have been analyzing every single ensemble the Duchess of Sussex has been wearing, even learning some lessons along the way. The latest one, however, might just be Meghan's best fashion trick yet.

As noticed by some royal followers after her stunning appearance at Royal Ascot, the duchess seems to have a habit of wearing heeled shoes that are too big for her - and according to fashion expert Harriet Davey, the reason is pretty simple. "Celebs often go a size up, or even two, in the shoe department when they're at an event or on the red carpet," she explains. "And it's for one reason we can all relate to: to avoid blisters."

Luckily, wearing heels that are too big for her doesn't mean that Meghan has trouble walking in them. "A trick of the trade is to stuff the toe with padding like tissue or cotton wool, and this can be taken out once they feel like they need a bit more room in their shoes," reveals Harriet.

As it turns out, Royal Ascot wasn't the first time that the 36-year-old has used this trick - and it wasn't the last either. On the day her engagement to Prince Harry was announced, she was pictured in a pair of strappy Aquazzura heels that seemed to be several sizes too big. The same thing happened during the couple's visit to Belfast, Northern Ireland, and Meghan appears to also have been a fan of this trick before she was even introduced to Harry. Ahead, take a look at all the times she's worn heels that were too big for her.

Princess Diana Loved This Brand So Much, Even Kate Middleton Has Become a Fan

It's been over two decades since the untimely death of Princess Diana, but her fashion choices are still as relevant today as they were then - just ask Kate Middleton. Over the years, the Duchess of Cambridge has more than once been compared to her mother-in-law, most notably because of their eerily similar style.

While Kate is known for her love of specific designers such as Alexander McQueen, Jenny Packham, and L.K. Bennett, the mother of three also regularly turns to Catherine Walker, a fashion house which Diana had a particularly close relationship with. In fact, some of the late Princess of Wales's most iconic outfits were created by the brand, a few of which still take our breath away.

These days, Kate can often be spotted wearing Catherine Walker dress-coats, which of course never goes unnoticed. Will Meghan Markle also start wearing the brand as a way to honor her husband's late mother? Only time will tell. In the meantime, read on to get a closer look at the times both Kate and Diana put their trust in the brand.
