I Let My 4-Year-Old Watch Scary Movies, and I Don't Feel Bad About It

Well before his 4th birthday, I realized my son - who in most ways is pretty much my behavioral clone - and I differed in one significant way: I've always had a massive dislike for scary stuff. This kid? He's obsessed with all things spooky. The first time I discovered him watching Goosebumps on Netflix, I immediately made him turn it off. How he'd even found the series was beyond me, but I assumed the show was totally outside of his toddler-size comfort zone, and letting him continue to watch would only end with me soothing some serious nightmares, probably around 2 a.m.

True to his word, he's never had a single scary show-related nightmare.

He did not agree. When I switched to a Netflix show I deemed more age appropriate, he started flipping out. "Sweetie, that's a scary show," I explained. "It's for big kids." "It's not scary to me," he screamed back. "I'm big enough." The fact that his sister, three years his senior, was sitting in the corner with her hands covering her eyes, looking generally terrified, seemed to prove otherwise. "Honey, your big sister thinks it's too scary, so I don't think it's for kids your age," I gently reinforced. "She can leave, then," he replied firmly. "I like it. I'm not scared, Mom."

I won the debate that day (we settled for a spooky episode of Scooby-Doo instead), but in the year since, I've totally given up on the scary movie battle. He's watched the original Ghostbusters and its sequel more times than I can count; he loves both the '90s and newer Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies, and yes, he's seen pretty much every episode of Goosebumps. And God knows what spooky stuff he's sussed out on YouTube. True to his word, he's never had a single scary show-related nightmare.

Am I completely comfortable with his preference for the shows that feature ghosts, monsters, blood, guts, and the occasional mystery solving dog? Not totally. But it's just one in a long line of ways that my children have proved to me that they are not, in fact, mini mes, but instead their own people who may share my eye color and love of organization, but also have a million tiny things that have nothing to do with the DNA we share. And to me, that's one of the most magical, gratifying parts of parenting: to see that my children somehow manage to be both inextricably linked to me and yet entirely separate beings, who have continued to surprise me since the day they were born.

Maybe in the years to come, I'll learn that my son has a talent for lacrosse (I was never sporty), or a preference for country music (never been a fan), or a desire to jump out of a plane (I like to be buckled in at 30,000 feet), and I'll try to be supportive of all the ways he's different than me, even when I don't understand them, even when they kind of scare me. I'll remember that he's always proved his bravery, starting with that first episode of Goosebumps.

The Details of JFK's "Affair" With Marilyn Monroe Are Way More Chill Than We've Been Told

Marilyn Monroe was one of the most glamorous and sought-after stars of her time. John F. Kennedy was, well, the president of the United States. After Marilyn performed a steamy rendition of "Happy Birthday" at the commander-in-chief's 45th birthday party in May 1962, rumors of an affair were propelled - and those rumors have persisted throughout history, even though details of an ongoing relationship between the two are actually pretty scarce.

The first time Marilyn and JFK were confirmed to have been at the same place at the same time was at the April in Paris Ball on April 11, 1957, at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in NYC; Marilyn was there with her then-husband, playwright Arthur Miller, while John attended with his wife, Jackie, and his sister, Eunice Kennedy Shriver. Both of them were photographed extensively throughout the night, but no meeting between them took place at that event. It's more likely that John and Marilyn first met at a dinner party hosted by actor Peter Lawford in 1961. Peter was married to John's sister Patricia, whom Marilyn became friends with while filming Let's Make Love. They also had a mutual friend in Frank Sinatra, who was a member of the Rat Pack with Peter and who briefly dated Marilyn after her divorce from Arthur Miller.

Multiple Marilyn historians, including respected biographer Donald Spoto, who wrote the 1993 book Marilyn Monroe: The Biography, allege that the most plausible time that Marilyn and JFK could have had a sexual encounter was during a party at Bing Crosby's home in Palm Springs, CA, on March 24, 1962. Marilyn's masseur and close friend Ralph Roberts told Spoto that he received a call from the actress asking him for massage techniques for muscles of the back, and that he "heard a distinctive Boston accent in the background" before Marilyn handed the phone to President Kennedy. Ralph Roberts added, "Marilyn told me that this night in March was the only time of her 'affair' with JFK. A great many people thought, after that weekend, that there was more to it. But Marilyn gave me the impression that it was not a major event for either of them: it happened once, that weekend, and that was that."

"Marilyn loved the secrecy and the drama of it, but Kennedy was not the kind of man she wanted to spend her life with, and she made that very clear."

Donald Spoto also wrote, "No serious biographer can maintain the existence of an affair between Marilyn and the Kennedys. All we can say for sure is that the actress and the President have met four times, between October 1961 and August 1962, and it was during one of those meetings, that they called to a friendly relation of Marilyn from a bedroom. Shortly after, Marilyn confided this sexual relation to her close relatives, insisting about the fact that their affair ended there." The late actress Susan Strasberg, whose father Lee was Marilyn's acting coach and who considered Marilyn to be "a surrogate sister," wrote in an unfinished memoir that Marilyn did spend that night with the president, but denied any sort of ongoing affair. "It was OK to sleep with a charismatic president," Strasberg said, adding that "Marilyn loved the secrecy and the drama of it, but Kennedy was not the kind of man she wanted to spend her life with, and she made that very clear." It was reportedly that night at Crosby's home that John asked Marilyn to perform at his upcoming birthday party at Madison Square Garden.

On May 19, 1962, Marilyn, clad in a curve-hugging sequined dress, sang a breathy rendition of the song for JFK (on his request, mind you). While rumors of an affair ran rampant after the event - and pictures have been doctored over time to show them together - the only photographic evidence of them that exists is a shot of Marilyn, John, and Bobby Kennedy having a conversation during a party at the home of movie executive Arthur Krim after she performed.

Less than three months after the famous performance, Marilyn would be dead from an accidental overdose of barbiturates, leaving behind a lifetime of unconfirmed rumors of a relationship between her and the president (not to mention his possible involvement in her death). Despite the fact that JFK's philandering ways were well known, it's most likely that his connection with Marilyn was just a dalliance and nothing more than a one-night stand. Was it salacious? Yes. But was it the torrid, persisting affair that we've been told it was? All signs point to "nah."

Jennifer Garner's Peppermint Premiere Outing Glow Is Giving Us Serious Flashbacks

When Jennifer Garner stepped out for the premiere of her new film Peppermint on Tuesday, you may have been fooled into thinking you'd gone back in time, as we got instant flashbacks to another time the actress stepped out in a dramatic one-shouldered black dress, at the 2016 Oscars. It's certainly been an eventful month for the actress. Along with promoting her new film, Jennifer was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and appeared to be in good spirits despite taking ex husband Ben Affleck to rehab following a reported intervention.

10 Ways To Give Your Child More Independence Without Freaking Yourself Out

Raising independent, self-sufficient children is the goal of parenting, right? But actually letting your little birdies fly from the nest, away from your protection and care, can not only be difficult, it can feel downright unnatural. After all, we spend the first years of our kids lives doing pretty much everything for them, all the time, and it's hard to know when continuing that level of parenting becomes more of a problem than a advantage for your kids.

Realistically, I know that my 7-year-old daughter is more than capable of walking to a friend's house a block away from ours by herself. Yet, I still worry every time she insists she doesn't need me to come along. I understand that she's often required to be independently motivated and autonomous at school, yet there's never been a time when I haven't helped her with her homework or packed her a snack and lunch. Hell, this is her third year at the same school, and I still worried if she'd make it from the bus to her classroom without getting lost on the first day.

Yet, I know that now's the time I need to start giving her a longer leash so that she learns how capable she truly is. Part of accomplishing this is to give her more to do around the house - independent people don't usually let their moms clean their rooms. But I also need to get over my own fears about what could happen if she's not fully under my supervision at all times and let her fly . . . at least to the neighbor's house. If you're struggling with giving your kid independence without giving yourself anxiety, here's are 10 ways to start.

Alison Brie's Red Carpet Evolution Will Make You Glow Green With Envy

Alison Brie is no stranger to the red carpet, with over a decade of roles in the likes of Mad Men, The Five Year Engagement, and Community under her belt. But her work on GLOW has taken her star to new heights, and her wardrobe has soared with her. As Ruth on the Netflix hit, she's forced into some of the ugliest '80s trends imaginable (and don't get us started on that hair). So perhaps it's no surprise that off screen, she likes to keep things modern and cool. Never afraid to take a look to new levels with edgy jewelry, experimental beauty looks, or statement shoes, Alison serves up a fresh new look at every event, be it a playful brocade dress worn over a classic white tee or a giant black ballgown that hides trousers underneath. Many of her looks from late 2017 and during award season came courtesy of stylist Cristina Ehrlich, who's also responsible for the chic looks we see on the likes of Mandy Moore, Mindy Kaling, and Penélope Cruz. More recently, she's been working with Erin Walsh, whose clients include Thandie Newton and Sarah Jessica Parker. Both have crafted her a wardrobe that's fearless, stylish, and always unexpected. Just take a look back at some of her best moments from the last couple of years for proof.

Mandy Moore Posts Emotional Tribute For Ex-Boyfriend DJ AM: "I Miss You Everyday"

Monday marked the nine-year anniversary of Adam "DJ AM" Goldstein's shocking death, and ex-girlfriend Mandy Moore made sure everyone knew she was keeping him in her thoughts. The This Is Us star, 34, shared a sweet photo of the late deejay casually leaning on a couch and looking into the camera on Instagram, captioning the intimate shot, "9 years. I miss you every day, Adam. #djam."

Mandy and Adam were friends for years before they began dating in early 2007 after sparks flew at a New Year's Eve party in Miami, and enjoyed a number of adorable outings together until they split a few months later in March of that same year. Despite parting ways romantically, the pair remained good friends. After Adam survived a deadly plane crash with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, Mandy even rushed to the Joseph Still Burn Center in Georgia where he was being held to visit him.

Adam was found dead from a drug overdose at age 36 in his home in New York City on Aug. 28, 2009, and Mandy has paid tribute to him on social media multiple times over the last few years. In 2015 she posted a photo of him performing, writing, ""This guy. One of a kind. Been on my mind a lot lately . . . I can still hear your laugh and oh man, I miss your hugs more than anything . . . I'm still at a loss."

See Mandy's tributes to her friend and ex-boyfriend, as well as photos of the former couple, ahead.

Princess Eugenie Could Actually Give Up Her Royal Title After Marrying Jack Brooksbank

Princess Eugenie is giving us our second royal wedding of the year when she gets married on Oct. 12. The 28-year-old will wed Jack Brooksbank, a wine merchant who has been dating the princess since 2010. Details have already begun trickling in from palace officials, and if you think Eugenie's wedding is going to be on the same level as her cousin Harry's, you might be in for a shock. Yes, she'll be tying the knot at St. George's Chapel in Windsor (the same church where Meghan and Harry said their "I dos") and she'll get to wear a tiara for the first time - but instead of getting a shiny new title, as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did, Eugenie could potentially give hers up.

This Weird Sponge Is the Best Thing That Ever Happened to My Skin

In the past decade, I can count on one hand the number of times I've gone to sleep without washing my face. While some may find the need to scrub their skin each night burdensome, I look forward to the routine. I remove my makeup with an oil cleanser, scrub with a washcloth and gel cleanser, mist on some toner, and moisturize. It's a form of meditation for me - and I'm not one to break tradition. It's because of this sense of loyalty to my regime that it's genuinely notable when I find a product that convinces me to mix things up.

A few weeks ago, I tried a Dew Puff. The product has been a fan-favorite for years, earning positive reviews on Amazon and inspiring a truckload of knockoffs. It looks like a teardrop-shaped sponge (imagine a flat beauty blender), measuring in at roughly the size of your palm. When dry, the texture is so coarse (akin to a pumice stone) you might wonder why you would ever put it near your skin. When wet, however, it transforms into a soft, squishy sponge that soaks up water and evenly distributes your cleanser of choice, gently exfoliating along the way.

While the Dew Puff is technically a sponge, it's far from the yellow and green rectangle you use to scrub your dishes. It's made entirely from the root of the konjac plant, a tropical plant indigenous to Southeast Asia. Konjac naturally contains iron, phosphorus, copper, zinc, and just about every vitamin in the alphabet. The real miracle is the way it dries up overnight, and is ready for use again the next day. Each sponge lasts three months when used twice a day, and there's no need to wash it - though you may want to boil it after a few weeks.

There are three types of Dew Puffs (listed ahead), and while I'm partial to the original, I've recently noticed that the Asian Clay version has worked wonders for some rough patches under my chin. Each are $8, so you won't be breaking the bank by investing in one. Best of all, these babies have saved me from cycling through two washcloths a day. I can't recommend them highly enough - I travel with mine, and I even convinced my mom to order her own.

Big Mouth Comes Back This Fall, So Prepare For Even More Excruciating Adolescent Flashbacks

Stock up on pimple cream and schedule a few extra sessions with your therapist, because Big Mouth is returning for season two this Fall. The critically-acclaimed and deeply inappropriate animated Netflix series is a raunchy, hilarious look at growing up, exploring embarrassing scrapes with puberty, body image, hormones, self discovery, and more. If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, make sure to mark Oct. 5 on your calendar.

The second season will again feature the voices of co-creator Nick Kroll, as well as John Mulaney, Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jordan Peele, Fred Armisen, Jenny Slate and Jessi Klein. New cast members include Gina Rodriguez, playing the first girl in seventh grade to get boobs, while David Thewlis is playing The Shame Wizard, who is the Hormone Monster's mortal enemy "who haunts the kids by stoking their deepest shame." Bring on the cringe!

A Bewitched Reboot Is Coming to ABC With a Big Twist, and It Actually Sounds Pretty Great

Well, we all knew this was only a matter of time: ABC is dusting off 1960s TV classic Bewitched for a modern-day reboot, Deadline reports. The decision follows a long line of other reboots and revivals that have been announced (and aired) over the last two years, including NBC's Will and Grace, The CW's Charmed, and the ill-advised 11th season of Roseanne on ABC. It seems the latter network is attempting to make up for the highly publicized cancellation of Roseanne Barr's sitcom with the news that it's going to have Samantha Stevens wiggling her nose once more.

As much as we're not down with the idea of ABC tarnishing the beloved 1960s series (Didn't Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell's movie adaptation do that enough?!), we can't deny that the creative forces behind the reboot are pretty perfect. Black-ish creator Kenya Barris and Yamara Taylor, who works as a writer on the critically acclaimed comedy, are in charge and will reportedly put a twist in the story of a witch trying to blend into suburban life with her ad executive husband, Darrin.

Related: Don't Worry, Shondaland Thursdays Are Still Intact For ABC's Fall TV Schedule

This time around, Samantha will be played by a black actress and will be a hardworking single mom (and witch!) who remarries Darrin, a white mortal (and slacker!). Barris and Taylor will show the couple navigating the ups and downs of their relationship as Samantha comes to realize that "even when a black girl is literally magic, she's still not as powerful as a decently tall white man with a full head of hair in America."

Back in 2011, CBS attempted to revive the show, and a similar attempt was made by NBC in 2014. Neither version ever made it onto TV, and for that we're grateful, because this reboot actually sounds, well, magical.

If It Wasn't For Princess Margaret, You Probably Wouldn't Be Able to Read Your Horoscope Today

Did you know that the horoscope you read every day in a newspaper, magazine, or on your favorite website has a fascinating connection to Princess Margaret? Yes, the Princess Margaret - younger sister to Queen Elizabeth II, she of biting British wit, headline-making romances, and extravagant morning routines. As crazy as it may sound, Margaret is pretty much the sole reason that sun sign horoscopes exist. You're probably wondering how the hell this is possible, right? In his inventive new biography, Ninety-Nine Glimpses of Princess Margaret, journalist Craig Brown details how daily and weekly horoscope columns came to be, thanks to one astrologer and one newborn princess. And as a huge fan of both astrology and the British royal family, my mind was basically blown.

HRH Princess Margaret Rose was born on Aug. 21, 1930 to the then-Duke and Duchess of York, who just a few years later would ascend the throne and become King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother. Margaret was fourth in the line of succession when she was born, and in the tradition of royal baby births, her introduction into the world was marked by gun salutes, official portraits, and of course, tons of press. In London, Sunday Express editor John Gordon, as author Craig Brown wrote, was "struggling to come up with a fresh angle on the news of another royal birth." He came up with the idea to ask Cheiro, a famous astrologer and palmist during that time, to make a prediction about what might unfold during the newborn princess's life. Gordon reached out to Cheiro - whose real name was William John Warner - but he was busy, and instead the assignment was taken on by Cheiro's assistant, a man named R.H. Naylor.

Naylor's article, titled "What the Stars Foretell For the New Princess," was printed in the Express the following Sunday, four days after Margaret was born. The idea was so new that the introduction included an explanation:

"Everybody is interested in the future. Can it be told by the stars? Readers of the Sunday Express will be able to judge for themselves after reading the following article, which tells you just what is expected to happen during the remainder of the month. Mr. Naylor has included in the article an extremely interesting horoscope - an observation of the heavens at the hour of a person's birth."

According to Ninety-Nine Glimpses, the piece predicted that Margaret would have "an eventful life" (OK, obviously) and that "events of tremendous importance to the royal family and the nation" would occur around the time Margaret turned seven. Naylor's prediction story was a huge success, and John Gordon ended up commissioning him to write more general forecasts to be printed over the next few months. One of Naylor's most notable prophecies was that "a British aircraft will be in danger between Oct. 8 and 15." While he didn't hit it on the nose, he was right: on Oct. 5, 1930, an R101 airship crashed in France, killing 48 people. This prediction sent Naylor's fame skyrocketing, and soon enough, Gordon offered R.H. Naylor a weekly column in the Sunday Express making predictions for all readers according to their birthdays. It was called "Your Stars."

You Can Increase Your Wrist Strength With These 5 Exercises

Our wrists are key joints, particularly when it comes to some of our favorite fitness moves: burpees, push-ups, planks, mountain climbers, pull-ups, Downward-Facing Dogs, and many more. Where we concentrate on the muscle groups they support, such as the arms and shoulders, we often neglect the wrists themselves. It is easy to feel wrist strain if we don't give them the same amount of attention the rest of our body gets. The good news is that wrist strengthening is relatively simple - the hardest part is remembering to do it. Get started with these five exercises and make sure to add them into your routine once a week.

Zara Re-Created One of Meghan Markle's Most Talked-About Outfits, and You'll Want It Now

I've been obsessed with Meghan Markle and her incredibly chic wardrobe since the first time I saw her in Suits. Sure, her style has ever-so-slightly changed since she became Mrs. Prince Harry, but it's actually made me love her even more. While the Duchess of Sussex does follow most of the rules, she also knows what she loves, and she certainly isn't afraid to push the boundaries.

For her very first appearance at Trooping the Colour, Meghan stunned in a pink off-the-shoulder ensemble by Carolina Herrera, and I still remember thinking, "Wow, she looks breathtaking." Accessorized with a matching Philip Treacy hat and a clutch, her outfit was sophisticated and elegant (if not a little protocol-breaking), and I've been thinking about it ever since - so you can imagine my delight when I came across a Zara blazer that looks exactly like the top half of the stunning Herrera creation.

While the blazer in question comes in a fiery red instead of a powder pink, I immediately recognized the gorgeous bateau neckline and its fold-over collar. The other two main differences are the presence of pockets and two rows of buttons instead of one, but it didn't keep me from immediately adding the piece to my shopping cart. Read on for a reminder of what Meghan's Trooping the Colour outfit looked like, and shop the Zara creation before everyone starts wearing it.

This Is Where Princess Diana Died, and It's Still Filled With Loving Tributes to Her Memory

Two decades on from her death, the memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, still lingers. This Summer, thousands of people will leave tributes to her at the Pont de l'Alma in Paris, near the spot where the princess was badly injured in a car crash leading to her passing just hours later. Flowers and photos lie 'round the famous torch, which has become a memorial to the much-loved royal who died in the French capital on Aug. 31, 1997.

Diana spent her last day in Paris, flying in from Sardinia with Dodi Al Fayed on Aug. 30. The couple had been holidaying on the French and Italian Riviera aboard his father's yacht, the Jonikal, their every move followed by photographers. They headed to the Ritz Hotel, located on the central Place Vendome and also owned by Dodi's father, Mohammed al Fayed. By the time they settled into a late dinner, the famous hotel was surrounded by crowds and press. Just after midnight, with a decoy car diverting photographers at the front of the Ritz, they got into a black Mercedes Benz S280 waiting for them at the back to travel to another Fayed property in Paris.

The deputy head of security at the Ritz, Henri Paul, was at the wheel as the car left the Rue Cambon and crossed the Place de la Concorde. Photographers were already following as the vehicle headed along the Cours la Reine, running alongside the Seine, and continued along the embankment. The car was speeding as it entered the Pont de l'Alma tunnel where, within seconds, it had collided with the 13th pillar. Henri and Dodi were killed instantly.

The princess was still conscious, and the ambulance called to take her to hospital traveled slowly through the French capital to allow doctors to treat her. It stopped for several minutes in front of the Jardin des Plantes for medics to treat the princess. Soon afterward, they arrived at the Pitié-Salpetrière Hospital on the Ile de France, where the full extent of Diana's injuries was discovered. Diana had suffered a large tear to the superior pulmonary vein where it entered her heart. She was pronounced dead at the hospital just after 4 a.m. on the morning of Aug. 31.

Her sister, Lady Sarah McCorquadale, traveled to Paris with Prince Charles to accompany Diana's body home. Even as they landed at RAF Northolt, floral tributes were being left at Diana's home at Kensington Palace. The princess's coffin was taken to London and the Chapel Royal, St. James's Palace, where her sons, William and Harry, said their last farewells before her funeral at Westminster Abbey on Sept. 6. Diana's hearse was showered with flowers as thousands lined her funeral route. Her last journey ended at her family home, Althorp House, where she was buried on a small island. Her grave is private and only accessible to family, but public tributes continue to pile up in Paris at the place her story came to an end.

In Light of Amazon's New Series The Romanoffs, Let's Revisit the Legend of Anastasia

This Summer, Amazon announced an exciting new original series that would air in Fall 2018. The show is called The Romanoffs and is utterly shrouded in mystery. So far, details about the project are scarce, and the first teaser is more of a cast announcement than anything else. (For the record, the cast is very big and exciting!) Although there is quite a bit to excavate in the coming months, we do have one piece of intel pertaining to the new series: though it's spelled differently, the show is related to the famous 17th-century imperial family of Russia, the Romanovs. Perhaps more intriguing is that the show will focus on the modern age, telling tales of people who claim to be descendants of the slain family.

This phenomenon, if you're not familiar, stems from one of the greatest mysteries of the 20th century: the disappearance of Princess Anastasia. Seeing as the concept of the show stems from this enduring myth - we assume one of the anthology episodes will tell of a woman claiming to be the lost royal - we thought we'd tell the tale that kept scientists, historians, and royal enthusiasts befuddled for nearly a century.

The Casual Way Pete Proposed to Ariana Gives New Meaning to the Term "Netflix and Chill"

Pete Davidson took everyone by surprise when he popped the question to Ariana Grande in June after a few weeks of dating, but it appears the Saturday Night Live star had it planned all along. In a recent interview with Variety, Pete revealed that he didn't "want to do something corny," so he proposed in one of the most casual ways possible.

"We were in bed hanging. After watching a movie, I was like, 'Will you marry me?' It was really dope," Pete said. "I'm still convinced she's blind or hit her head really hard. Something is going to happen, and she's going to be like, 'What the f*ck is this thing doing around?' For right now, it's rocking."

Pete and Ariana first met on the set of SNL back in 2016. At the time, Ariana was dating Mac Miller, while Pete was with Cazzie David. "I was obviously ogling and trying not to be creepy," Pete said of their first meeting. "We didn't know another person could feel - or treat a person - like that."

Pete and Ariana struck up a romance in May and plan on tying the knot sometime next year. "I never thought I'd meet anyone like her," Pete gushed. "I can't even put into words how great of a person she is. I could cry. She's the f*cking coolest, hottest, nicest person I've ever met." Take a look at some of Ariana and Pete's sweetest moments ahead.

Once Upon a Time Might Be Over, but You'll Be Able to Binge Season 7 on Netflix Soon

If you're still upset over the end of Once Upon a Time in May, we feel you - investing in a show for seven years is serious. Ultimately, ABC's fantasy drama wraps up with some happy and bittersweet endings for its colorful cast of characters, uncovers some unexpected answers to big mysteries, and squeezes in a few last twists. Whether you're ready to venture into Storybrooke for the very first time or you caught the series in all its glory when it was on and simply want to relive the romance, Netflix will be the answer to your prayers: season seven will hit the streaming network in September!

Once Upon a Time's final season will be available on Sept. 6, along with a whole bunch of other exciting new titles. That means you'll be able to stream everything that Regina Mills (aka the Evil Queen), Hook, Rumple, Cinderella, Henry, and the rest of the fairy-tale crew get up to before you know it! In the meantime, however, you can watch the first six seasons on Netflix now.

Taissa Farmiga Will Be Playing TWO Characters in American Horror Story: Apocalypse

The eighth season of American Horror Story, which has been dubbed Apocalypse, is getting quite crowded. Not only is there a rather large cast, but a few stars will also be pulling double duty as multiple characters. The latest to be doing such a feat is Taissa Farmiga, who played Violet Harmon in season one, Murder House, and Zoe Benson in season three, Coven. This week, Entertainment Weekly confirmed that Farmiga will be reprising both roles in the new season, which drops Sept. 12.

Previously, creator Ryan Murphy revealed that Farmiga had once again entered into the fold to rejoin our favorite coven out of New Orleans. She appeared in a spooky cast photo, wearing black of course. But the fact that Farmiga will also reprise her role as Violet is pretty exciting. The announcement comes hot off the news that Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott will be back to once again play the respective roles of Vivien and Ben Harmon. That means the whole family is back together again . . . but we're not sure it will be a joyous reunion.

Things may be strange for the Harmons once they enter the world of Apocalypse. Especially since, you know, they're all dead by the end of season one. (Spoiler alert?) Even though the Harmons may just be haunting their way through the season as vengeful spirits, it's one more exciting layer in what might just be the most complex entry to the series yet. We can't f*cking wait.

Mrs. Doubtfire Is Finally Getting the Broadway Treatment With a Musical Adaptation

Mrs. Doubtfire is headed to Broadway! The musical adaptation of the classic 1993 film has been in the "early stages" since 2015, which is when we first heard about the project. Alan Menken revealed to Entertainment Weekly that he was composing music with David Zippel writing the lyrics and Broadway veteran Harvey Fierstein writing the book. A year after that, the Oscar-winning composer told Digital Spy that a change of lyricist and convoluted schedules led to the project being put on a "creative hiatus."

Now, however, the creative team behind the musical adaption has officially been brought together. Fox Stage Productions and producer Kevin McCollum announced the news in a joint statement, saying, "Mrs. Doubtfire is such a beloved story, both laugh-out-loud hilarious and extremely moving. Getting this team together and crafting Mrs. Doubtfire for the stage has been pure joy. We can't wait to get into production."

Four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks will serve as the musical's director with Something Rotten!'s John O'Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick writing the book. Despite Menken's earlier involvement, music and lyrics will actually be handled by Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick. The cast, remaining creative team, and production schedule are set to be announced at a later date. We can't wait to see what they come up with! Stay tuned for more details as the project comes together.

Surprise! Ed Sheeran Basically Just Confirmed That He and Cherry Seaborn Already Got Married

Hold up - did Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn already get married? The "Shape of You" singer surprised us all when he announced this past January that he popped the question to his longtime girlfriend over the holidays, and his latest interview with Access is certainly raising some eyebrows - in a good way, that is. After being asked how the wedding planning was going, Ed played it coy and simply raised his left hand, showing off the platinum band on his ring finger.

The reporter then congratulated Ed and asked him how he managed to get away with that, to which he responded, "I never really do anything too public anyway." So, does this mean Ed and Cherry are already husband and wife? It sure looks like it!

Ed and Cherry first struck up a romance in September 2015 and have been going strong ever since. In fact, three of Ed's songs were actually inspired by Cherry. Aw!

Lili Reinhart Says Demi Lovato's Candidness About Depression Inspired Her Growing Up

Lili Reinhart has opened up about her struggles with anxiety and mental health, and in a recent interview with Variety, she got particularly candid. In addition to speaking out about depression and body dysmorphia, the Riverdale star revealed that she looked up to Demi Lovato growing up - the way that many young fans likely look up to Lili now.

"I definitely looked up to Demi Lovato," Lili said. "I remember her as being the first person [I heard] talk about depression and growing up with an eating disorder. I personally have not had an eating disorder, but her openness and honesty about her mental health was really cool to me. I was like, 'Oh, that's how I feel!' She's famous and beautiful and has money, and it's strange to think that she could still feel that way too."

She continued to say, "It was just an awareness that [depression] can affect anyone of any gender, any race, any age, no matter how much money you make or how famous you are. It's just something you were born with, and you can get past it. It doesn't have to define you, or make you [feel] any less of a person."

Demi Lovato has never shied away from sharing her own personal struggles, especially in her documentary Simply Complicated. Young fans of both Demi and Lili are lucky to have such genuine, honest women to listen to and learn from.

Build a Big Booty With This 3-Move Bodyweight Workout

If you want a firm, round, large butt, you've got to put in the work. You know how the saying goes: if you don't use it, you lose it. Vanity aside, having strong glutes will reduce your risk of developing dormant butt syndrome and associated lower-back pain; will improve your athletic performance in activities like sprinting, long-distance running, and plyometric exercises; and can even prevent and alleviate knee pain. Convinced? Good.

To help you strengthen your glutes and sculpt a sexy booty while you're at it, I created a three-move bodyweight workout you can do anywhere. Before you get started, be sure to warm up with exercises like butt kicks, high knees, glute bridges, and plank walkouts.

The Workout:

After warming up, perform each exercise with little or no rest between moves, resting 90 seconds between rounds. Complete a total of five rounds, then cool down with three minutes of stretching.

  • Walking lunges: 24 reps
  • Step-ups: 20 reps
  • Single-leg glute bridges: 12 reps each leg

I'm a Trainer, and This Is the Sled Workout I Do For Strength and Lean Muscle

One of my favorite pieces of equipment in the gym is the sled. I like designing strength and power workouts with the sled because when moving the thing around you focus on functional movements (things you do every day not just in a gym) and you work the major muscle groups.

If you're new to training with the sled, this four-move workout I created is a great place to start. You'll be doing both pushing and pulling movements to strengthen your legs, butt, arms, and back.

Most sleds weigh between 70 and 90 pounds, so keep this in mind when adding weighted plates. First, try pushing the sled alone to get a sense of the weight and then increase the weight from there. I suggest starting with a total of 100 to 125 pounds, but feel free to decrease or increase the weight as needed. One last thing: always keep your arms fully extended when pushing the sled. In the event that you fall, you'll be able to catch yourself with your hands instead of hitting your face on the body of the sled.

The Workout:

After completing a thorough warmup, repeat this four-exercise sled circuit four times, resting two to three minutes between rounds. Don't forget to cool down afterward.

  • High push: 25-50 meters
  • Rows: 25-50 meters
  • Low push: 25-50 meters
  • Backward walk: 25-50 meters
