On Sept. 8, the 44th president of the United States shared a sweet photo with his "brother" Biden, to celebrate the former VP's return to the social media platform. Apparently, Obama has a "no-selfies" rule but he's willing to make a "rare exception" for this close friend.
Biden hasn't used Instagram publicly since leaving the office of vice president in January 2016. He operated under the username @vp44, but can now be found under an account of his own name. His first post honored a team of wounded veterans he walked with, alongside his wife Jill.
"I'm proud to know them, and grateful to have the chance to once again share my days with you here on @instagram," he wrote in the photo's caption. "It's good to be back."

This Teacher's "Brilliant" Coffee Cart Idea Is Helping Students With Special Needs
Shelby Winder is a special education teacher at Grand Oaks High School in Texas, and for her first year teaching a Life Skills class – which is specifically for students with significant cognitive impairment and adaptive disabilities – she came up with an out-of-the-box idea that is impressing her colleagues and parents alike.
"Shelby came up with the brilliant idea of wanting to empower her students this year in some way that was meaningful and would outlast their time with her in the classroom," her colleague, Chris Field, wrote in a Facebook post. "So she started buying all of the things they would need to start a traveling coffee cart."
The cart allows her students to walk around to each of the staff members in the school, take their orders, and then deliver their coffee to them on Fridays.
"Most importantly, this would allow the students to practice their social skills, communication, working through their shyness, and even learning how to run a simple business by calculating their expenses and profits," Chris continued. "They named their business 'The Grizzly Bean.'"
Perhaps even more impressive than the idea itself is that Shelby self-funded the project on a first-year teacher's salary. Although the school reimbursed her after hearing about her efforts, they encouraged her to "keep dreaming big," too.
"Her students have now been at this a couple weeks already, and she says they are absolutely loving it," Chris added. "It's obviously a great teaching tool, and one that will give them skills and lessons to carry far beyond this school year."
Shelby also has the goal of using some of the profits from her classroom's coffee business to provide funds for another school to start the exact same project. The idea is that each school would pay it forward in this way so that this little, isolated coffee cart program can be used in schools around the nation.

After 30 More People Get Sick, CDC Warns About Kellogg's Honey Smacks: "Do Not Eat This Cereal"
In July, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released a statement that popular Kellogg's cereal Honey Smacks has been linked to a serious salmonella outbreak, but it seems that the agency's warning wasn't enough.
Since that recall, 30 more people have gotten sick from eating the cereal, so in an update, the CDC told retailers not to sell any Kellogg's Honey Smacks cereal and customers not to buy or eat it. They continued to implore parents to check their pantries as soon as possible.
Earlier this Summer, the CDC tweeted, "Do not eat this cereal" after it was confirmed that 100 people were infected in 33 states. At least 30 of those people had been hospitalized. The agency found salmonella in samples of the sweetened puffed wheat cereal, which has been subject to a voluntary recall by Kellogg since mid-June.

Regardless of the cereal box's expiration date, the government agency implores parents to throw it away or return it to a retailer for a refund.
The CDC also warns that salmonella infection often involves the development of a fever, cramps, or diarrhea within 12 to 72 hours of being exposed to the bacteria, and it can last up to seven days. Although most healthy individuals recover without intervention, infants and those with weakened immune systems are at a heightened risk of serious complications.

Mac Miller has died at age 26, TMZ reports. The rapper reportedly passed away from an apparent overdose in his California home on Friday. Mac, whose real name was Malcolm James McCormick, was charged with a DUI in a car crash earlier this year. He dated Ariana Grande from August 2016 to May 2018. In August, he released his fifth studio album, Swimming, which debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200. He was planning on going on tour at the end of October.

6 Reasons to Visit Disneyland Alone
As my 31st birthday crept up on me, I knew I wanted to feed my travel bug. I tossed around ideas like a train ride to San Diego, a trip to Salt Lake City to hang out with my little sister, or a road trip to San Francisco. After going over those ideas, I decided to stay close to my new home in LA and go to Disneyland. Since my friends weren't able to make the trip with me, I decided to go solo. Yes, this single 30-something went to Disneyland with no children and no friends and had more fun than I've had in years. The Disney brand has a special place in my heart since it's where my family and I spent time at least one family vacation per year. We (OK, my dad) would pack up our van and drive eight hours to visit the most magical place on earth. We even went on a Disney cruise! So spending the day at Disneyland not only helped me create new memories but also helped me relive memories from my childhood.
