There’s a Video of a Dog Flopping Around in a Teddy Bear Halloween Costume, and Now Nothing Else Matters
When it comes to Halloween, there are a lot of traditions that make the holiday so much fun. Putting together unique group costumes, carving pumpkins, and even indulging in bite-sized chocolates typically top our lists, but nothing really overshadows the joy we get out of dressing up our pets. Those innocent little furballs love their owners dearly, which is what makes succumbing them to Halloween that much more fun. Instagram user Harp + Lola knows this to be true. In a popular Instagram post, Rebecca put her adorable bull dog Poppy in a teddy bear costume and whipped out her phone to document. Like a baby learning to walk, Poppy the puppy looks at Rebecca forlornly before taking her first few clumsy steps. Turn the volume up so you can hear the little feet flopping about. It's magic.

Rescuing a Dog From a Puppy Mill Was the Hardest Thing I've Ever Done
In 2012, my then-boyfriend (now husband) and I rescued a 4-year-old Golden Retriever from a puppy mill in Taiwan. After we submitted home videos to a rescue group in Northern California and became preapproved adopters, the founder and "puppy matchmaker" at the organization sent us an email. We read the email together, shoulder to shoulder, like excited children on Christmas morning. The email said that our dog had just been rescued from an awful place, was currently getting care, and would soon be up to date on shots and strong enough to travel along with a volunteer to the United States. Jackpot!
"You're rescuing a dog from Taiwan?" people would gasp, emphasizing the wan in Taiwan as if doing so would make us realize how far away the dog was. "They have rescue dogs here," they'd finish.
But it was a common enough practice. The organization we used, Love and Second Chances, had a sister rescue organization in Taiwan. Once enough dogs were rescued, a volunteer would fly over dozens of dogs for eager families in the United States. We'd read up on common things to expect when rescuing a dog in general, but nothing could have prepared us for the journey.
Here are the eight most significant experiences I've had since rescuing.
Most Stuf Oreos Are Coming Soon, and We Can't Even Fully Articulate How Massive They Are
For its latest creation, Oreo isn't changing a thing about the cookie's signature sweet flavor. Though the brand has recently experimented with many flavors including chocolate peanut butter pie, strawberry shortcake, and rocky road, Oreo's upcoming release is all about the same classic cookie . . . just in a very different size.
According to food blog The Junk Food Aisle, Most Stuf Oreos will be hitting shelves sometime soon. The massive cookie makes the brand's Double Stuf and Mega Stuf Oreos look like child's play. Unfortunately, there aren't any additional details out there about when the Most Stuf Oreos will be launching, but when a release date is announced, you better believe we'll be ready.
Disneyland's Halloween Treats Are Here, and OMG, You're Gonna Want to Try Them All!
Disneyland does Halloween right, especially in the treats department. This year, there's an exciting mix of new creations (hi, Coco-themed dessert!) and returning favorites that you won't want to miss. While the Halloween food at Disney World includes an awesome poison-apple cupcake and candy-corn milkshake, the Anaheim parks' creative offerings are just as noteworthy.
Between the food and the new Disneyland Halloween merchandise, you've got a lot of things to add to your must-see (and must-eat) list. Take a look ahead to see some of what's available at Disneyland and California Adventure starting this Halloween season, then check out even more on Disney's blog.

1 Virginia Town Is Threatening to Jail Kids Over 12 Who Trick-or-Treat, and, Yup, We're Serious
If you were thinking about letting your kiddos trick-or-treat in Chesapeake, VA, you may want to think twice before getting too excited. According to a now-viral Facebook post, children older than 12 years old could be fined or jailed for participating in the Halloween tradition. And, yes, unfortunately the rule seems to be serious.
The post reads: "Trick or treat hours will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on October 31 for children 12 and under. If any person over the age of 12 years shall engage in the activity commonly known as 'trick or treat' or any other activity of similar character or nature under any name whatsoever, he or she shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not less than $25.00 nor more than $100.00 or by confinement in jail for not more than six months or both."
All we can say is wow. But sadly, this isn't the first time we've seen this super-strict trend. Just last year, a town in Canada banned teens over the age of 16 from going trick-or-treating. We'll probably avoid going door to door in Chesapeake at all costs. After all, there's no sense in getting in trouble for something so wholesome, right?
Amazon Is Selling a Heated Sleeping Bag For Your Feet, and BRB While We Plug It in Under Our Desks
I've lived and worked in three major cities - Los Angeles, Manhattan, and San Francisco - and while the Winters across these three cities differ drastically (you can pretty much survive an LA Winter in a denim jacket), "office weather" is sort of the same. It's either piping hot because the heaters are blasting full force and tenants don't have control of them, or, for whatever reason, it's downright freezing and all of your coworkers are bundled up underneath cozy blankets. For those working in the latter camp, I just found the perfect solution.
Far better than a little space heater is this Heating Pad, Electric Heated Foot Warmer ($42). Simply slip off your shoes (you know you do that anyway), plug this in, and slip your feet inside this magical private mat. It warms up in seconds, has three heating levels, and comes with an auto shut-off feature that kicks in after two hours, so you never have to worry about whether you accidentally left it plugged in after you've left for the day.
Brie Bella Thought Pumping Would Be the Answer to Her Prayers - Until She Ended Up Hating It
Professional wrestler Brie Bella opened up about the challenges she's faced while trying to breastfeed her 1-year-old daughter, Birdie, in a clip of an upcoming episode of E!'s Total Divas. In the preview, Brie headed to a breastfeeding support group to work through some of her feelings on the matter, and what she had to say is so relatable.
"My breast milk's taken a huge dip," Brie explained. "I used to have enough where I donate. And now I've realized in the last month that I can't even keep up with her during the day so I've had to introduce one bottle of formula a day. I'm trying to pump and do all this stuff, but it's the stress. I hate pumping."
Brie went on to say that no matter what she does, she often feels inadequate. "The guilt always plays in," she said. "Mom guilt's the worst feeling in the world . . . I thought pumping could balance Birdie and my job, but it's not working. It's weird how you just constantly feel like you're failing."
Despite her setbacks, Brie said that being surrounded by mothers who are going through the same thing makes her emotions that much more tolerable.
"These women make me feel like it's OK if you don't want to breastfeed anymore or it's OK to still balance it," she said. "To have other women just be like, 'You do you. That's all you have to do.' I haven't felt that in a while, so it means a lot to me right now."

Calling All Couch Potatoes - These 6 Heated Slippers Are Basically Magic
People go crazy for slippers, and for good reason: they're way more comfortable than walking around the house barefoot, and they're incredibly cute. But what about when they don't do their job? Or, when they don't prevent your feet from feeling like ice? Good riddance.
The next time you want to sit down on the couch and pour yourself a glass of wine, relaxing in all of your cozy glory, do it wearing a pair of heated slippers. Whether you pop them in the microwave or plug them in, here are six pairs that'll keep your toes nice and toasty.
What It's Really Like to Have Social Anxiety During the Holidays - Not Fun
I didn't always have social anxiety at holiday parties and get-togethers. I used to be one of those people who revels in the holiday spirit with friends, until our family suffered a personal tragedy. Now, when I'm invited to a celebration of all things merry and bright, I can't help but look around and think, "everyone is happy except me."
Since I lost a baby late in pregnancy, the way I feel when I'm around other people has completely changed. Whether it's a dinner party with neighbors, a small family gathering, or the big, annual boating club gala we always attend, my anxiety about the event starts early. I notice a pit forming in my stomach, hours, sometimes days before it's time to leave for the party. I really want to just skip the whole thing, but I tell myself I can handle it, at least for a little bit.
I am thinking about our daughter, and what it would be like if she were here.
"Let's stay for an hour," my husband says gently. He knows how hard it is for me to be in these situations. How I start to feel short of breath, how I get lightheaded, and then dizzy, how I can't focus on what another person is saying during even a simple conversation. My mind is somewhere else. I am thinking about our daughter, and what it would be like if she were here. But there's something else, too: I can't get over my conviction that I'm not the same as everyone else around me.
They are able to have fun. They can laugh, eat, drink, and chat about banal topics like holiday recipes and vacation plans. Meanwhile, I feel empty inside.
How many times have I heard, "I can't imagine what you went through." This comment always makes me feel totally alone, but even more so this time of year. Of course, rationally, I understand I'm not the only person who has experienced loss, but why does it seem as if they can hide it so easily when I can't? I'm pretty sure my devastation is written all over my face.
I remember a time when I was one of the loudest partygoers at any given holiday celebration. I loved telling my favorite seasonal stories to even the largest groups, like the one about how one year, the Christmas tree fell on my dad while he was trying to get it to stand, and instead of helping him out from underneath it, my siblings and I made him lie there so we could get pictures. I'd sip Champagne, sample the food, and at least once during the night, look around and feel so lucky and filled with gratitude.
Since that day, my life feels like an out-of-body experience, which is only exaggerated when I do things I did before, but under these completely new set of circumstances.
Now, that person doesn't even seem like it could have been me. Who was that outgoing girl? I'm pretty sure I lost her when I lost my baby, suddenly, without warning, in a more traumatic and awful way than I could have ever imagined. Since that day, my life feels like an out-of-body experience, which is only exaggerated when I do things I did before, but under these completely new set of circumstances. I suspect this is why the holidays can be so hard for so many people. It's the tradition, the familiarity of it, and how none of it feels even vaguely familiar anymore.
My therapist tells me it's OK to be different now. It's OK that I often prefer to keep to myself. It's OK that I'm quieter, and that I don't find as much joy in things as I used to. She says maybe in a few years the holidays won't make me feel quite as sad, but it feels like I might never want to be the center of attention at a party again.
It took about a year, but I've finally started to believe her, and know things will get better. Last holiday season, I could only stay at a party for half an hour. This year, I may want to stay for an hour or longer. It may be a full two hours before I begin to notice how happy and carefree everyone around me seems, before I give my husband that look which means, "I want to go," and we get in the car, and I cry, and he knows why without having to ask.
If you have a friend or family member who has gone through a traumatic, life-changing event, my advice to you is to accept that they may want to leave the holiday party a little early. They may need a bit more space. They may not feel like talking about big holiday sales or slow-cooker recipes. You may notice them staring off in the distance and avoiding big groups. Take it from someone who knows: If they showed up to the party, even for 10 minutes, that may have been a huge act of courage. Hopefully, next year they can stay longer without feeling like they simply can't breathe. In the meantime, just understand them.
My Husband and I Spend Time Together Away From Our Kids Every Week, and It's the Best
My husband and I go on one date without the kids every week. It's something that's scheduled and pretty routine within our family now. And every couple of months, we leave for the weekend together, too. To us, it's important that we're a couple without our kids. Of course, we cherish our children. We love being Mom and Dad, and we bend over backward for our children daily. But with work, school, and everyone's activities, it's easy for our marriage to get put on the back burner. And I know that if we aren't careful, it will stay there, which is why we do our best to stay connected and remind each other why we fell in love in the first place.
I think it's totally OK for my children to know that I am more than just their mom. My husband and I were a couple long before they ever came along.
But it isn't easy. Accomplishing this takes a lot of work from both of us. And if going out on a date once a week allows us to stay on the same page and check in to see how we're each doing, then that's what we'll do. It's easy for relationships to get muddled, or worse, lost entirely, while raising a family and going through the weekly grind year after year. It's easy to forget to show the other person that we care about them or actually listen to them when we ask how their day was. Everything can revolve solely around the kids with little room for much else. But it shouldn't be that way. By carving out the time to spend with your partner, you're also showing your children what it takes to make a marriage work. And if you have a happy marriage, your children will feel that.
I think it's totally OK for my children to know that I am more than just their mom and that my life has more to it than their school lunches and schedules. I want them to know that my husband and I were a couple long before they ever came along, and that type of commitment takes work. To us, that "work" looks like putting on decent clothes and going out to dinner and drinks once a week. To you, that may look like a hike in nature or going to Home Depot to pick out new blinds. Whatever the case may be, you're doing what's right for you.
And you should never feel guilty about spending quality time together away from your kids. You need it. Your marriage needs it. Hell, even your kids need it. My husband and I don't hesitate to call the babysitter or ask Grandma to come over so we can get away. We don't even feel guilty for going to a nearby city for the night or hopping on a plane for a long weekend. And honestly, we never have. When our first child was born, our frequent date nights obviously fell by the wayside. Adjusting to parenthood was not easy on our marriage, so we knew right away that we needed to create some time for just us, otherwise our relationship would have been swallowed up by the demands of our children.
Going out on a date once a week works really well for us. It's something we both look forward to. We make each other feel like we're just as important as the kids are, because it's the truth. And it's not taking anything away from our kids, either. It's doing the opposite. It's giving them the gift of a rejuvenated, happy couple who are willing to work for the goodness of our marriage. An example that will hopefully last them a lifetime.

If These Girls Dancing All the Way to the Pool Isn't the New Viral Sensation, I Give Up
When it came around to planning her 5-year-old daughter Lyric's birthday, Angel Dixon knew she needed to do something special. Rather than heading to the nearest Chuck E. Cheese's or Build-A-Bear, she got a hotel room for Lyric and some of her friends at a Residence Inn in Washington DC. And what's the best part about getting a hotel room for a night? The pool, of course! In an adorable Instagram video, Angel captured the girls' excitement en route to the pool - and naturally, their song is as catchy as it gets.
"Lyric's grandmother Crystal Dixon made up the song. She's the one you can hear singing it while I record it," Angel told POPSUGAR. "She was trying to get the girls hyped for the pool while we were waiting for the other girls to arrive. The girls were getting impatient so she distracted them with a song."
And holy moly, is their enthusiasm contagious or what? Oh, and did we mention how on point all their unicorn garb is? Amazing!
11 Ways to Start Talking to Your Daughter About Sexual Assault Early
It may be a hot topic right now, but sexual assault is something parents should be talking about with their daughters all the time. As Kelly Chrestman, Ph.D., a senior military behavioral health psychologist at the Center for Deployment Psychology, explained to POPSUGAR, teaching girls about sexual safety should be thought of as being as necessary as teaching them about other types of safety, like burn prevention.
As a mom of three young daughters, I'll admit that I assumed (or hoped) it was OK for a family discussion about sexual assault to sit on a back burner for the next few years. But according to Chrestman, it's important to "talk to kids as early as possible in an age-appropriate way." She told POPSUGAR if you broach the topic now, it won't be as uncomfortable for girls or their parents to discuss sexual assault when they're older. Of course, awkwardness comes with the territory when you talk about anything of a sexual nature with your child. You don't want to avoid this very important issue so no one feels weird. "If you feel uncomfortable, you are doing it right," Chrestman assured parents.
Read on for tips on how to bring up sexual safety with your daughter, as well as what to avoid saying, and how to get help if you suspect she's been assaulted.

30 Toys and Accessories Every '90s Preteen Absolutely HAD to Have
Trust me when I say that of the 30 '90s-tastic toys and accessories I've included in this gallery, at least 23 of them can still be found at my parents' house. Part of this is because I'm a pack rat, but it's mostly because my dad is a pack rat who insists everything will be worth some money some day. (Still waiting on a paycheck for the Beanie Babies, Dad.)
For those of us who grew up in the 1990s, back when life was easier and technology and social media weren't a worry, we had so many amazing toys and accessories to choose from. They were a little simpler and maybe more wholesome than some of today's options, but we loved them as kids. Now that we're older and these toys are considered vintage (it hurts to even think that), it's nice to think back on the memories of the actual toys.
I can remember how almost all of them came into my life because they were all so special. I remember the Christmas morning when the Barbie Dream House was under the Christmas tree, despite the fact that it was more than two decades ago. Take a trip down memory lane with me to look back on the Barbies, stuffed animals, and games we all played with in the gallery ahead.
1 Mom Has the Best Solution For Her Kids Leaving Their Stuff on the Floor
Jessica McGinty, a mom of three and blogger from Australia, has lost her patience just like the rest of us when it comes to picking up after her children around the house. In a now-viral Facebook post, she described a clever cleaning hack she refers to as the "f*cket bucket," and we're definitely stealing her idea.
Fortunately for inquiring minds, Jessica detailed the ins and outs of her hack in the caption: "Today I got the kids f*cket buckets™," wrote Jessica. "If they leave it laying around, it goes in their bucket. If it's still there at bedtime it goes in the bin because f*cket if I'm cleaning it up."
Ha! Jessica definitely makes a strong argument, and apparently other moms agreed. So far, the post has racked up more than 24,500 shares and 36,000 reactions on Facebook. Now, ahem, excuse us while we order colored bins off Amazon.
Wanna Be the Coolest Halloween House on the Block? Stop Carving Pumpkins and Do This Instead!
I will fully admit that I am not a fan of Halloween, in general. I've been known to put my Christmas tree up before Thanksgiving and to decorate my house for Easter (who can deny the cuteness of bunnies?!), but Halloween has never really been my thing.
However, I do very much like two things: my two kids and any excuse for a party. The former do not seem to share my disdain for the strange combo of scary and sugarcoated that is Halloween, and their love of the holiday has forced me to also get minimally on board since they became old enough to realize that all those pumpkins on people's porches actually meant something. I, of course, put them in cute costumes, which they wear while walking around our neighborhood asking for candy, which I then attempt to covertly hide so they don't go into sugar comas. Fun, right?
Until last year, I was basically participating in Halloween while still not really enjoying it. And then we moved into a new house, in a neighborhood full of young families who quickly informed me that my home's previous owners were all about Halloween, passing out popcorn, beer, hot chocolate, full-size candy bars, and more than 200 hot dogs every year. Costumes, scary movies, and spiders I might not do, but throwing a party? That I could get on board with.
Costumes, scary movies, and spiders I might not do, but throwing a party? That I could get on board with.
Of course, as the mother of two small children, I've learned to accept my limitations and ask for help. I enlisted a new neighbor friend to do the hot dogs and another to do the popcorn, but the booze and the sweet stuff I was all over. I called in a few friends to let me borrow their Crock-Pots and started stirring up drinks.
For the kids, I whipped up two batches of No Biggie's creamy Crock-Pot hot chocolate. It was gone within the first hour of trick-or-treating, and while I was sad to disappoint many a child who'd heard a rich molten chocolate drink was being served on my front lawn, only to find my stash depleted, my ego was boosted by how big of a hit it was while it lasted. This year, I'm making four batches.
For the parents, I set up a cooler of beer, which no one touched until my trick-or-treating afterparty (more on that later). What did get a big response? My hot apple cider, spiked with salted caramel vodka (find a similar recipe here - I skipped the brown sugar). I filled up disposable, lidded coffee cups with the stuff, and not a single parent turned me down when I asked if they wanted one. Many came back for more.
Since Halloween was unseasonably warm last year, I set up a folding table on my front lawn and served everything there, next to my bowl of snack-size candy bars. I am a firm believer that three small candy bars is way more fun than one full-size one . . . plus, did I mention I was giving out hot chocolate and booze?!
Once it got dark, my neighbors brought over their leftover popcorn and hot dogs and we had a little afterparty, dipping into that stash of beer and giving the kids flashlights to play tag and tell ghost stories with. It was a great party and a perfect night, even if it is my least favorite holiday. I might not be a Halloween person, but being the Halloween party house? That I kind of love.

Lady Gaga's Platform Boots Are 1 Thing, but Her Heels Are Wild in a Different Way
We're so often focused on Lady Gaga's over-the-top statement looks (usually finished with sky-high platform boots) that we forget about her more relaxed street style peppered in between. "Relaxed?" you might be thinking to yourself, as iconic outfits like the meat dress and her Swarovski covered Versace bodysuit pop into your head. But we aren't kidding.
The singer and A Star Is Born actress famously switched gears and wore jeans and a t-shirt with the release of her Joanne album, opting for simplicity at its finest. And while we're sure Gaga's biggest closet is home to her outrageous stompers with knife-like heels, she obviously makes room for sexy pumps and trendy boots of the moment, too, because she wears them when you might not be looking.
Ahead, we rounded up some of our favorite picks from Gaga's wardrobe in the past couple of years and provided you with similar options that are just wild enough.
17 Outfit Hacks We Learned During Fashion Month - and Have Been Using Ever Since

This Unexpected Item of Clothing Has Made Getting Dressed So Much Easier
I've got a great pair of booties that have a little dip at the ankle, making any socks visible. Rather than throwing off my look, I tried out a pair of no-show socks, and now I can't imagine life without them.
See, there are two kinds of no-show socks, but the trick is to pick up the ones that offer more coverage than just over your toes, so they don't slip off your feet easily and end up bunched in the front of your shoes. No-show socks that cover the ankle, oftentimes with a little sneaky, sticky grip on the fabric, will keep you comfy without messing with your outfit. Shop the essentials right here.
Princess Eugenie's Engagement Ring Is So Rare, No Other Bride Will Ever Have the Same
When Princess Eugenie got engaged to Jack Brooksbank in January, all eyes were, understandably, on her one-of-a-kind engagement ring. In the couple's first TV interview following the announcement, Jack explained how he "went and found an amazing padparadscha sapphire, but then didn't want to do anything until Eugenie had signed off on it." And amazing, it truly is.
Surrounded by 12 diamonds and set on a yellow gold band, the beautiful center stone really is the star of the show, and it's easy to understand why. Padparadscha sapphires are one of the rarest forms of sapphires, which means no other bride will ever be able to have the same. Derived from an ancient Sanskrit word used to describe the color of a tropical lotus flower, padparadscha sapphires vary in color (going from pink to orange) and can mainly be found in Sri Lanka, Tanzania, and Madagascar. And while very few people know about them, they are treasured by gemstone connoisseurs.
Of course, Eugenie isn't the only member of the royal family to have been given a very special engagement ring. Kate Middleton was given Princess Diana's 12-carat sapphire and diamond ring (which is valued at a staggering $50,000), while Meghan Markle's stunning ring (which was designed by Prince Harry himself) features a center stone that was sourced in Botswana, as well as two smaller diamonds from Harry's personal collection, given to him by Princess Diana.
Read on to take a closer look at Princess Eugenie's incredibly rare ring, then shop similar styles for yourself.

If You've Got Shawn Mendes's "Treat You Better" on Replay, Hear It With Classroom Instruments
Shawn Mendes's voice is no joke, folks. The 20-year-old singer showed off his vocal chops during The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon when he sat down with the host and The Roots to sing his 2016 hit "Treat You Better" in the show's music room. The only catch? The band grabbed classroom instruments for this stripped-down rendition - we see that xylophone! While Mendes took the opportunity to display his natural talent, he couldn't help but give Fallon a chance to belt out some key lines too. Watch the above video to see their full performance. We promise you won't be "wasting time" with this one.
Jennifer Garner Accepted 4 of Ellen's Crazy Dares, and Damn, She Really Went For It
In case you've been wanting to challenge Jennifer Garner to a good ol' game of Truth or Dare, you may want to rethink that, because she'll definitely come out victorious. When the 46-year-old actress stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she put her game face on, saying "yes" to four hysterically random dares provided by the talkshow host. Things started out easy, with Jennifer eagerly heeding to Ellen's request for her to cluck like a chicken, but the dares were kicked up a notch when the mother of three had to take a wild double-chinned selfie on Ellen's phone in front of the audience.
To make Jennifer's appearance on the talkshow even more enjoyable, each of the dares she accepted helped to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation with a little help from Ulta Beauty. How sweet is that?! Watch the video above to see Jennifer conquer those dares like the champ she is, and see below for the hilarious results of her aforementioned selfie-taking adventure.
The 1 Episode That Will Define Kevin and Zoe's Relationship on This Is Us
This Is Us is filled with heartbreaking moments, but it's also filled with uplifting love stories. While we've fallen in love with Jack and Rebecca over the past two seasons, season three has opened the door for a few new romances. This season, Kevin has embarked on a new relationship with Beth's cousin, Zoe, and she's really shaking things up with the Pearson family. Not only is she bringing out a whole new side of Kevin, but she also has a few secrets of her own. We recently had a chance to talk with Melanie Liburd, the actress behind Zoe, about season three, and she dished on her character's mysterious past and what lies in store for Kevin and Zoe's newfound romance.
Since episode one, one thing we've admired about Kevin and Zoe's relationship is how much they challenge each other. While Kevin always felt comfortable in his relationship with Sophie, his relationship with Zoe keeps him on his toes, which is something Liburd really appreciates about the pairing. "I love that about their dynamic," she said. "She doesn't care that he's a famous person or a movie star. It's interesting because Zoe wouldn't usually go for Kevin's type. So, I think their relationship surprises Zoe, and she realizes this guy's kind and has a lot of depth to him and this could be really interesting."
Even though Zoe has been hesitant about taking things to the next level, it seems like their relationship will only get more serious as they travel to Vietnam together in the coming episodes. Liburd revealed that in episode seven, Zoe opens up to Kevin in a big way about her mysterious past. "She reveals something and she lets her guard down," she added. "Up until this point, like in a new relationship, you don't really know each other and then it's kind of the revelation about Zoe that brings them close together, which is really nice."
As much as we love watching their love story unfold, there's a little part of us that's worried Zoe will break Kevin's heart. After all, Beth did warn Kevin that Zoe would break him. While Liburd couldn't exactly promise a happy ending for the lovebirds, she did promise that the characters would have a profound impact on each other this season. "Like any real life relationship when people have had things happen to them and they've gone through stuff, it's kind of a learning about themselves and working through things together," she said. "No relationship that's worth holding on to is plain sailing. And that's how you find that deep, peaceful love. So we'll see."
Riverdale Showrunner Is "Hopeful" For a Cross Over With The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
There is no shortage of darkness in Riverdale (especially after watching the tense season three trailer), and it looks like the show is about to take a turn into the supernatural. After months and months of hinting that the magic-loving Sabrina the Teenage Witch, who is very much a part of the Archie Comics universe, might make an appearance on the series, showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa all but confirmed the news during Riverdale's panel at New York Comic-Con on Friday.
"I'm first and foremost a fan of these two towns, Riverdale and Greendale," Aguirre-Sacasa said. "I love when comic book characters cross over, so it's a dream. Right now, we're focused on getting Sabrina out there and making sure Riverdale is as good as it can be. So, I'm hopeful!"
Aguirre-Sacasa's latest quote echoes what he previously teased to Entertainment Weekly when he mentioned that an appearance from Sabrina "has potential with a capital P." It also falls directly in line with what he said during a 2017 Comic-Con panel discussion. "I love horror and dreams and jump scares and things like that, so we're always trying to put that in Riverdale. We have been talking about one very prominent supernatural character that exists within the Archie universe," he said, before getting cut off by executive producer Sarah Schechter, who warned him not to say anything else.
It makes even more sense when you remember that Aguirre-Sacasa wrote the comic series The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which puts a darker twist on the bubbly, beloved character many fans are used to after seeing Melissa Joan Hart do her thing on the '90s sitcom Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
If Sabrina does end up on Riverdale, her arrival will signal that the show is set in a supernatural universe, since all we've really seen of that so far are Cheryl Blossom's visions of her zombie brother. In the Afterlife With Archie comics, Sabrina lives across Sweetwater River in Greendale, where magic openly exists, and her desperate attempt to bring Jughead's dog back from the dead inadvertently sets off a zombie apocalypse.
Will the Archie gang be battling paranormal monsters in season three? We'll have to wait until it premieres on Oct. 10 to find out, but the latest hint about Sabrina sure seems to point in that direction.
The Oath: Things Get Awkward For Tiffany Haddish and Ike Barinholtz in This Exclusive Clip
In case you hadn't heard, the respective comedic geniuses of Tiffany Haddish and Ike Barinholtz are combining forces for the upcoming political dramedy The Oath, and we have an exclusive clip from the film for you to feast your eyes on. The pair plays Chris and Kai, a husband and wife duo attempting to survive "life and Thanksgiving in the age of political tribalism" at Chris's family's home. In the clip, Chris spars with his Republican relatives over a troubling anecdote that may or may not be racist, which he isn't afraid to point out to his sister Abbie (Search Party's Meredith Hagner). Watch the clip from The Oath above, and expect it to hit theaters on Oct. 12!
Take a Break From Crying Over A Star Is Born to Watch the "Look What I Found" Music Video
Now that A Star Is Born has presumably wrecked your entire existence, we come to you with a humble gift: the sweet music video for one of the romantic drama's catchiest songs, "Look What I Found." Lady Gaga's titular "star," Ally, comes up with the tune while she and Jackson Maine (Bradley Cooper) are riding through the desert on his motorcycle. When they pull over to grab lunch, she casually jots it down in a notepad and voilà - one of our favorite songs off the soundtrack is, well, born. The music video features plenty of important scenes from the movie, from Ally's "La Vie en Rose" performance to intimate moments with Jackson (and Charlie!), so check it out above.
The True Story Behind Can You Ever Forgive Me? Is a Literary Nightmare
On Oct. 19, fans of Melissa McCarthy are going to see the actress in a completely new light. The comedic star of Bridesmaids and Spy is taking on the role of real-life author and forger Lee Israel in Can You Ever Forgive Me?. Early reviews of the film suggest there could very well be an Oscar in McCarthy's future, and it's no wonder, given that her performance looks transformative in the trailer. As intriguing as the film looks, the true story behind Can You Ever Forgive Me? is quite possibly even more fascinating.
Israel's path to a life of crime and her seeming lack of remorse for forging letters from famed authors (and outright stealing priceless artifacts from libraries) make her a character like no other. But the best part is, Israel is all too real, and she was more than happy to share the story of her foray into a life of crime with the world. Read on to find out how one author went from being a (mostly) mild-mannered historical biographer to one of history's most prolific literary forgers.

Cameron Monaghan Announces Exit From Shameless: "All Good Things Come to an End"
Just over a month after Emmy Rossum announced her departure from Showtime's Shameless, Cameron Monaghan has revealed that he is also exiting the series. The actor, who portrays Ian Gallagher, made the announcement in a lengthy Instagram post explaining that this Sunday's episode would be his last.
"I have been a series regular on this show for roughly ten years," he began. "I was the tender age of fifteen when we shot the pilot, and I came of age in so many ways, both legally and personally. I was very lucky to mature and grow with this show. Experiencing so many firsts, maturing as an actor, a professional, and a human. In the process gaining friends, family, and the best coworkers a very lucky actor could ask for, and for this I can be nothing but gracious. All good things come to an end. An old cliche, but one that rings true with a sincerity and clarity especially in moments like these. Everything ends."
The 25-year-old actor went on to thank the Shameless cast and viewers for joining him on "a wild and special ride." Although Monaghan didn't explicitly say why he's leaving the show, he most likely wants to focus on other projects. In addition to Shameless, Monaghan has a recurring role as Jerome Valeska on Fox's Gotham. By leaving the Showtime series, he'll have more time to branch out into other projects, including more film roles.
Monaghan finished his note by saying that though he's known he was leaving since last year, he kept it a surprise so the audience would experience the uncertainty of Ian's adventure along with him. "Goodbye, Ian Clayton Gallagher," he wrote. "We'll meet again?" Read his full statement ahead.
13 Books to Read If You Can't Get Enough of Hocus Pocus
Celebrating Halloween without an annual viewing of Hocus Pocus is like trying to get through the entire Fall season without drinking a pumpkin spice latte - it's just not right. The classic 1993 film has everything a good Halloween movie needs: trick-or-treating, killer dance scenes, a talking black cat, and Bette Midler. Face it, the Sanderson sisters are true icons, and they also happen to be a trio of witches we would love to hang out with, despite the whole stealing the souls of children thing. Still, as perfect as Hocus Pocus is, you can only watch the film so many times during October before you start craving something else. But what if you could satisfy your desire for something new while still feeding that nostalgic feeling you get every time you see Binx on your TV screen?
Thanks to these 13 books like Hocus Pocus, you can enjoy the fun, Halloween perfection of the film without having to watch the movie every single day of the month (unless you want to do both, in which case, this is a judgment-free zone).
No, It's Not Witchcraft - That's Actually Dakota Johnson Dancing in Suspiria
We know that Fifty Shades star Dakota Johnson does not take preparing for a new role lightly (just check out the training regimen she underwent for Fifty Shades Freed!), but how exactly did she prepare for a role that requires years of professional training? In her upcoming film Suspiria - a remake of the 1977 supernatural cult classic by the same name - Johnson plays Susie Bannion, an American ballerina who transfers to a prestigious dance academy in Germany, only to realize that her new school has a dark history of occultism and is responsible for a series of brutal murders. Assuming there was no witchcraft involved in the creation of this movie, did Johnson actually perform her own dance scenes?
As it turns out, she did! According to Johnson, she performed about 90 percent of the dancing done by her character in the movie. Though not a professional, Johnson has had some dance training (she took tap, jazz, and ballet lessons from ages 5 to 15), so picking up choreography wasn't a totally foreign concept for the actress. For anything Johnson couldn't handle, a professional dancer named Tanya was on set to act as Johnson's body double.
For Johnson, the scariest part of the movie wasn't the supernatural spookiness, but shooting the dance performances. "I trained on and off for about a year before we started filming, but I'm not a professional dancer," she told Entertainment Weekly. "It was terrifying." However, Johnson didn't let the demands of the role intimidate her. While filming Fifty Shades Freed, the starlet worked with a dance trainer before or after the day's shoot to get in practice time. "It was amazing to discover that I could do that with my body, but it was a lot of work, it was a lot of training," she said.
As well as working with a dancer trainer, Johnson prepared for the role with Belgo-French choreographer Damien Jalet, who created all of the pieces for Suspiria. Learning the choreography for the film involved three weeks of eight-hour-a-day intensive training in Italy, as well as additional training in New York while Johnson was on a press tour. From the trailer alone, we have a feeling that all of Johnson's work paid off, and we can't wait to see her dancing debut when Suspiria hits theaters on Oct. 26!
We Can't Wait For All the Terrible Things the Teaser For American Gods Season 2 Promises
The old gods are coming back! Almost two years after the first season wowed viewers, Starz's TV adaptation of American Gods is returning for its second season. At their New York Comic-Con panel on Friday afternoon, the cast and executive producer Neil Gaiman gave us a first look at what we can expect when the show returns in 2019.
The second season picks up right where we left off in the first, following the epic showdown at Easter's party. Shadow (Ricky Whittle) finally knows exactly who he's working for as he and Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane) continue their cross-country road trip. The brief teaser gives us glimpses of the oncoming war between the old gods (including Yetide Badaki as Bilquis and Orlando Jones as Mr. Nancy) and the new (Bruce Langley as Technical Boy and Crispin Glover as Mr. World). Laura Moon (Emily Browning) and Mad Sweeney (Pablo Schreiber) go on an adventure of their own while, as Gaiman put it simply during the panel, "Things get worse for everybody in dramatically interesting ways."
While the teaser doesn't give an exact date for the start of season two, we do know it'll return in 2019 at some point! Given how the first season premiered in April, we can assume it'll be around the same time frame. Check out the full teaser above, and stay on your toes for more details as the season premiere gets closer.
If There's Any Reason to Rejoin Tumblr, It's to Read Lili Reinhart's Posts
Lili Reinhart is careful to keep major parts of her personal life away from the public eye. It even took months of speculation before fans knew for sure that she and Cole Sprouse are dating. Still, the two Riverdale stars never really confirmed their romance, and instead just post adorable photos and videos of each other on social media. However, true Lili fans know that they can get a deeper look into her innermost thoughts by taking a scroll through the actress's public Tumblr account.
Many of the posts on the account are poems written by Lili, but she's also used it to talk about certain issues. In October 2017, she squashed rumors that she was dating Riverdale costar KJ Apa, writing, "If a stranger's love life is causing you anger, frustration, or anxiety . . . please reevaluate your priorities. I also want to point out that there is a difference between shipping Betty and other characters, and shipping me with literally everyone I make eye contact with. There are so many other things to focus your attention and energy on."
A week later, she also used the platform to share her personal experience with sexual assault in light of the Harvey Weinstein allegations. "I'm not comfortable giving specific details about the situation because I don't feel it's necessary," she wrote. "All that matters is that he tried to force himself on me when we were on a date." She also opened up about how she was afraid to come forward, thinking that she would be painted as "dramatic and a diva," but she said that sharing her story is to support other women who are sexual assault survivors, noting, "I believe in standing up for yourself as a woman and coming forward about sexual harassment."
Recently, Lili has stuck to posting more of her poetry, and some even believe that there are a few references to Cole Sprouse. After all, the two are quite the lovebirds, so it's hard to imagine that such beautiful prose is inspired by anything or anyone else. The latest post simply says, "His voice is the only music I need to hear," which could be taken as a clue after Lili recently revealed in an interview with Glamour that Cole's voice initially annoyed her "and now it's grown on [her]."
So if you enjoy cryptic verses and idyllic writing, we recommend taking a deep dive into Lili's Tumblr page because, evidently, acting is just one of her many talents.
