The Chatty Royal Foursome Stuck Together in Their Seats at Princess Eugenie's Wedding

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's wedding on Oct. 12 brought out all our favorite royals. But of course we were especially excited to see power couple Meghan Markle and Prince Harry along with Kate Middleton and Prince William. Each of them are all too familiar with the royal spotlight, so it was nice to see them come out to the ceremony in support. They were even careful not to attract too much attention because they knew that it was Princess and Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's time to shine.

Still, it was hard to take your eyes off Meghan, Harry, Kate, and William. Not only did they all look amazing - we're still drooling over Meghan's navy blue ensemble - but they all seemed to be genuinely enjoying each other's company. Inside of the chapel, they were seen chatting and sharing a few laughs together before the ceremony began. Prince William and Kate even shared a sweet and subtle moment of PDA while sitting next to each other.

View photos of the royal foursome looking as fabulous and snazzy as ever in the photos ahead.

Princess Eugenie Could Actually Give Up Her Royal Title After Marrying Jack Brooksbank

Princess Eugenie gave us our second royal wedding of the year when she got married on Oct. 12. The 28-year-old wed Jack Brooksbank, a wine merchant who had been dating the princess since 2010. If you thought Eugenie's wedding would be on the same level as her cousin Harry's, you were probably shocked. Yes, she tied the knot at St. George's Chapel in Windsor (the same church where Meghan and Harry said their "I dos") and she got to wear a tiara for the first time - but instead of getting a shiny new title, as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did, Eugenie could potentially give hers up.

Robert Pattinson Is on a Twisted Space Mission in the Unsettling Trailer For High Life

Robert Pattinson is starring in a forthcoming sci-fi film that looks like Passengers, but better. Also starring Juliette Binoche, Mia Goth, and André Benjamin, High Life is about a group of criminals on a supposed mission to a black hole. It seems the real mission, however - led by Binoche's character - is more of a reproductive experiment. Directed by Claire Denis, it will be the French Chocolat director's first English-language film. High Life premiered during the Toronto International Film Festival, and it will officially hit theaters on Nov. 7. Watch the unsettling trailer above.

Anybody Else Having Flashbacks? See Princess Eugenie's Wedding Side by Side With Prince Harry's

Is anybody else having déjà vu? On Friday, Princess Eugenie tied the knot with Jack Brooksbank at St. George's Chapel, and we were immediately taken back to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's special day. Not only did Eugenie and Jack exchange "I dos" at Windsor Castle's St. George's Chapel, which is the same place where Harry and Meghan exchanged their vows, but everything from Eugenie's walk down the aisle to her first kiss with Jack gave us royal wedding flashbacks.

Just like Harry and Meghan, Eugenie and Jack's love story is straight out of a fairy tale. The couple first met in 2010 during a ski trip in Switzerland, and it was "love at first sight." Ahead, see Eugenie and Jack's royal wedding side by side with Harry and Meghan's.

Here’s Why Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton Practically Sprinted Into Eugenie's Wedding

If anyone understands the all the excitement surrounding a royal wedding, it's Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, as well as Kate Middleton and Prince William. That's why when they arrived to St. George's Chapel for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's wedding on Oct. 12, they made sure to quickly head into the venue to keep from attracting too much attention to themselves. As soon as Meghan stepped out of the vehicle, Harry walked around to her side of the car, and they immediately walked inside. Prince William and Kate Middleton also wasted no time in going into the chapel. They all looked to be in high spirits, but there was no striking any poses or stopping for special photo ops.

It is Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's special day after all, so it was supersweet to see the other royal couples honor their moment in the spotlight. Watch them make a quick break into the chapel in the above video.

Oh, Wow - Iron Fist Has Been Canceled by Netflix After 2 Seasons

In a move that's both surprising and somehow not surprising in the least, Netflix has decided to cancel Iron Fist.

The critically panned Marvel superhero series debuted its second season in early September, attempting to improve upon the gripes both fans and the media had with it during the first go-around (slow pacing, bloated episode count, whitewashing, weak characters . . . the list goes on). Season two ends with Colleen Wing (a bright light within the series) teaming up with Misty Knight, which suggested the Daughters of the Dragon weren't far off. Apparently that storyline and the massive cliffhanger the second season leaves off on weren't enough to save the show. It marks the first Marvel show to get the ax from the streaming giant.

"Marvel's Iron Fist will not return for a third season on Netflix," Netflix and Marvel said in a joint statement to Deadline on Oct. 12. "Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is proud of the series and grateful for all of the hard work from our incredible cast, crew and showrunners. We're thankful to the fans who have watched these two seasons, and for the partnership we've shared on this series. While the series on Netflix has ended, the immortal Iron Fist will live on."

The series followed billionaire Danny Rand (Game of Thrones alum Finn Jones) after he returns to New York City following a prolonged absence, during which most assumed he was dead. He tries to reconnect with his past and his family legacy while also contending with newfound abilities that help him combat criminals corrupting New York City.

If it helps, the third season of Daredevil is just a few days away from its Oct. 19 premiere, which is a reminder that Netflix's Marvel franchise will hopefully live on.

A Star Is Born in Ariana Grande's "Breathin'" Music Video: Her Pet Pig, Piggy Smalls

Ariana Grande's new music video is literally just three minutes of her pet pig crawling around the apartment she shares with fiancé Pete Davidson. Yep. That's it. Just the pig. And you know what? It might be my favorite music video of the year.

The video for "Breathin'" stars Piggy Smalls, the teacup pig she got back in September that is reportedly "a bougie pig," according to Davidson. While the video lacks ethereal goddess imagery and a fleet of screaming groundhogs featured in "God Is a Woman," it's hard to deny how soothing it is to watch a happy, tiny pig roam on top of a fluffy gray blanket for a few minutes. It's like ASMR, for the eyes.

The video was released just after the 25-year-old singer confirmed to fans that she's working on another project that will be ready before the end of 2018. Just a couple of months after the release of her fourth studio album, Sweetener, Grande explained on Twitter that she's sick of album "eras" and "ain't waiting another 2 years to drop" her next batch of new music. When a fan specifically asked if we're "getting another album before the end of the year," Grande responded with an emphatic "Yes!" So, fingers crossed we get a song called "Piggy Smalls" soon.

Kim Kardashian Shows Off Her Famous Curves in NYC, and They Should Really Come With a Warning

Kim Kardashian nearly blinded us when she stepped out for the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Collection event in NYC on Tuesday night. The 37-year-old reality TV star was a sexy vision in white as she hit the red carpet dripping in diamonds. Accompanied by mom Kris Jenner, Kim mingled with several famous stars including Mary J. Blige, Priyanka Chopra, Rachel Brosnahan, and Zoë Kravitz. However, that still wasn't enough to distract us from her famous curves, which, by the way, should really come with a warning!

On the way to the bash, Kim made sure to point out on Instagram that the jewels were not hers. "Look at these jewels I get to borrow for the night - I have security with me and they [the jewels] leave me after the night," she explained. "I turn into Cinderella." Ever since Kim was robbed at gunpoint in Paris in 2016, she and husband Kanye West no longer keep jewelry in their home and she is "much more careful about being flashy." She even traded out her diamond wedding ring for a simple wedding band. Ahead, see photos from Kim's sexy night out.

Princess Eugenie Was Inspired by Both Kate and Meghan For Her Wedding Hair and Makeup

The latest royal wedding certainly didn't disappoint, and neither did Princess Eugenie's beauty look because, let's be honest - aside from the wedding dress, the most buzzed-about topic of conversation was the hair and makeup.

For the special day, Princess Eugenie chose an incredibly natural but fresh makeup look, enhancing her strong brows and rosy skin, finished off with a slick of lip gloss. Hannah Martin for Bobbi Brown was her chosen makeup artist, similar to Kate Middleton's wedding, where she chose to do her own makeup using Bobbi Brown products. But that wasn't her only makeup inspiration. Just like Meghan Markle, Princess Eugenie kept her foundation incredibly light to ensure her freckles were proudly on display.

As for the hair, it's one of the prettiest looks we've seen on the princess, styled by Sonny-Jo MacFarlane from Hari's. Similar to Meghan Markle's wedding day hair, she opted for a more polished version of the low updo, with face-framing pieces of curled hair at the front, tied together with a beautiful Greville Emerald Kokoshnik tiara.

Although she's a princess who doesn't try out too many adventurous beauty looks, she has previously dabbled in a red lip and a slightly stronger smoky eye, and she's always kept her shoulder-length brown hair pretty much the same. But she's made her wedding day look modern, fresh, and incredibly beautiful.

Ahead, get a closer look at the royal bride's hair and makeup.

6 Celebrities Who Don't Dye Their Hair, Thank You Very Much

Like it or not, there's no denying a significant focus is placed on looks in Hollywood. It's why celebrities spend a ton of time, energy, and money on things like wardrobe stylists, botox, and yes, hair color. Whether they're trying to keep the press (and fans) on their toes, concealing their true ages, or getting a "breakover," many celebs switch up their hair colors the way the rest of us change our socks.

You can hardly blame them: Tinseltown is home to a number of actresses, models, and singers whose careers got a serious jumpstart from a dye job. That said, there are a few stars who don't dye their hair. A far cry from the Katy Perrys and Rihannas of the world, these ladies stay tried-and-true to their natural hues - and they own it. The list is small but mighty, so click through to check out which celebs have admitted to not dyeing their hair.

The 1 Way Princess Eugenie Redefined Beauty Standards on Her Wedding Day

Princess Eugenie just did what no other royal has ever done before, all in the name of redefining beauty standards. For her wedding to Jack Brooksbank on Oct. 12. at St. George's Chapel, Windsor, the princess chose to display the scars from the corrective surgery that she had at 12 years old for scoliosis (curvature of the spine). Since her surgery, she's been very vocal in helping others facing the operation, noting that, "children can look at me now and know that the operation works. I'm living proof of the ways in which the hospital can change people's lives." She also expressed her desire to redefine beauty standards when it comes to scars on her wedding day.

Princess Eugenie told ITV in a prewedding interview that she "had an operation on my back when I was 12 and you'll see on Friday, but it's a lovely way of honoring the people who looked after me. It's a way of standing up for young people who also go through this. I think you can change the way beauty is, and you can show people your scars, and I think it's really special to stand up for that." True to her word, she wore a wedding dress that had a low back displaying her back scar, showing the world that scars certainly don't need to be hidden. Now that's what we call a princess.

LOL, Charlotte Was So Busy Waving, She Fell Up the Stairs at Princess Eugenie's Wedding

It was quite the windy day outside in Windsor, England, for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's royal wedding, and the gusty weather conditions made for some pretty funny moments as guests filed into St. George's Chapel. Hats blew away, dress skirts flew up, and Princess Charlotte was nearly swept away - hah, kidding. But the tiny tot did have a close call due to a particularly strong gust of wind as she headed into the chapel.

When Charlotte arrived on scene with her fellow bridesmaids and the pageboys, the 3-year-old couldn't help but put her adorable wave on display for the cameras, hamming it up per usual. Her adorable dedication to waving, however, actually ended up causing her to nearly trip up the stairs, though she gracefully caught herself before taking a full tumble.

Meanwhile, one of the pageboys, Louis de Givenchy, actually wound up completely falling as he made his way up the stairs near Charlotte. Whoops! Leave it to the toddlers to bring the raucousness to a royal wedding.

Grab Your Brooms, Funko Is Releasing a Harry Potter Advent Calendar and You're Gonna Want It

As if we couldn't be any more excited for the holiday season as it is, the word on the street is that Funko - the brand behind those adorable figurines your cool coworkers have on their desks - is dropping a Harry Potter Advent Calendar. And as a certified muggle, I can hardly contain myself. According to Funko's site, the magical Advent calendar comes with 24 figures, as well as a replica of Hagrid's house. How cute! Although there aren't too many details out there yet, Hello Subscription reported that the calendar will likely sell for around $56 and can be found at Target. Now all we need is a little Dumbledore!

This Dad Has Dressed His Son Up in So Many Disney Costumes, It's Impossible to Pick a Favorite

Tucker Bohman has been a fan of the Toy Story movies since he was a kid, so when he and his wife found out they were having a son, it was only fitting that their gender reveal on Instagram was the film's logo with the words "Boy Story" and that at 2 days old, little Beckham, also known as "Hamm," was photographed in a Woody onesie surrounded by stuffed character toys Tucker had collected. After that, Tucker changed his Instagram handle to @ToyStoryDad and began posting a photo a week to his feed of Hamm dressed in various Disney costumes, from other Toy Story favorites such as Buzz Lightyear and Slinky Dog to Prince Charming, Olaf, and Aladdin.

"In early 2018 we took a trip to Disneyland and had Hamm dressed as Woody, and everyone at Disneyland was obsessed with him," Tucker told POPSUGAR. "We had crowds around us everywhere we went. People were asking to take his picture and talking about him throughout the park. We then had someone approach us and say, 'Hey, it's Toy Story Dad.' I couldn't believe that someone actually recognized us."

"Everyone at Disneyland was obsessed with him!"

From that point on, Tucker and his wife decided to start posting Hamm's costume photos daily, which required getting creative and hand-making most of his costumes. And because the family had a yearly pass, many of Hamm's costumes made their way to Disneyland. "We seriously just love what we do," Tucker said. "It is A LOT of work designing and creating these costumes, but the joy we spread around the world makes it more than worth it."

Scroll through to see some of our favorite costumes of Hamm's, and be sure to follow Tucker on Instagram for more (starting Oct. 1, the hashtag #HammsHappyHaunts will be populated with one Disney villain costume per day in the month of October - and we can't wait to see Hamm in each one!).

All the Times Kate Middleton Looked Calm AF at Princess Eugenie's Wedding Without Her Kids

Being a mom of three, whether you're the Duchess of Cambridge or Susan from New Jersey, is no easy feat. Which is why we're loving how calm and collected Kate Middleton looked on Friday at the wedding of Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank while her kids were off being a bridesmaid and pageboy.

There was some buzz surrounding Kate's attendance to the wedding in the first place, as her sister Pippa is due to have her first child any day now, but the mom of three showed up looking absolutely stunning and as relaxed as if she'd just been to the spa, so we're glad she made it. (Meanwhile, her kids were off making funny faces and falling all over the place.)

Witness her bliss at her kids being far enough away that she couldn't hear their calls for snacks, toys, or literally anything else, ahead.

This Is What It's Like to Parent When You Don't Live Near Your Family

"Want to grab a coffee? My mom's watching the kids!" My friend's early morning text reminds me that, unlike pretty much every other parent I know, I don't have family nearby. It's a fact I'm acutely aware of every time there's a large gathering, like back-to-school night. My kids are hanging on me as we head into the classroom. Where are the other parents' broods? "At their grandparents' houses," my kids inevitably say. And for things like Halloween, the aunts, uncles, and cousins on our block get all dressed up to trick-or-treat with their extended families. And then there's us - just me, my husband, and our four kids. Of course, we're a big family on our own, but it can still get lonely since all of our immediate family members are states away.

My mom is just a quick phone call away, but it's not the same as her being able to come over and [help me]. Sometimes I get sad that my family is so far away, and there are days I would give anything to have my mom close.

Loneliness aside, I can't help but feel envious of my mom friends who get so much help from their parents and siblings. One of my neighbors, who lives within walking distance of her in-laws, her parents, and her brother and sister-in-law, trades off with everyone on taking the kids to school. Another neighbor's entire extended family lives in town and they're always coming over to help with projects around the house. Many of my other mom friends can easily call on grandparents or other family members to babysit, move furniture, pick up milk, or watch the kiddos so they can run a quick errand.

Even when friends' families don't live super close, they typically reside at least in the same state, but that's not how it is for us. My parents are a seven-hour drive away, and they're still hours closer to us than my siblings. My husband's parents and siblings also live about seven hours from us, so it definitely takes planning for us to get together.

My mom is just a quick phone call away, of course, and I do seek her advice often on parenting issues big and small. "Do you think I need to call the pediatrician?" "What is the right height to hang a kitchen chandelier?" But it's not the same as her being able to come over and feel my kid's head for a fever, eyeball the light fixture herself, or just make me a cup of tea and hug me when I need to vent. Sometimes I get sad that my family is so far away, and there are days I would give anything to have my mom close. Honestly, though, I've gotten really used to doing things on my own.

The upside of parenting with no help from family is the sense of satisfaction I get when I pull off the tricky balancing act that is my life with four kids alone. If I can make dinner while breastfeeding, after taking the other kids to swim practice and Girl Scouts, then help with homework and get four kids bathed - all before my husband gets home from work, might I add - then damn, I'm awesome! I also count myself lucky when my mom friends complain about how their in-laws have no sense of boundaries. I definitely don't have to contend with that issue too often.

Still, there are times I have to say "no" to things because I don't have the help I'd need. When my husband's out of town, we simply won't be able to make the art night at school because it's past the baby's bedtime and I can't find a babysitter. And sometimes I wish I could get a break and just get that morning coffee with a friend without my baby in tow. But I love where I live and have no plans to move to be closer to family. It's a trade-off parenting sans help from grandparents, but it sure makes getting us all together super special every time!

My Husband and I Stopped Caring About How Often We Have Sex, Because It Actually Doesn't Matter

"When was the last time you had sex?" my friend asks me during a recent get-together. I have to think for a moment. "Hmmm, I don't know," I answer. Now, if she were to have asked me that question ten years ago, I would have said, "This morning." So, what's changed? Well, I have. My husband has. Our life has. I'll spare you the details about what our sex life was like when we initially got married (let's just say we had very good nights and very good mornings almost every day), but now we're just in a totally different phase of our lives, and that's not a bad thing.

Ten years later, we have two kids - one with special needs - stressful jobs with long hours, a mortgage, and bills up the wazoo. When my husband comes home from work, he's exhausted. He works for a great company and loves his job, but it's very stressful and tiring for him. I work from home, and after spending the entire afternoon helping the kids with their homework, which often leaves me feeling like I've just been through battle, I'm exhausted as well. I also handle bedtime with the kids, which is a whole other mountain to climb.

At the end of the day, all my husband and I want to do is relax. We usually snuggle on the couch, talk, have a drink, and watch TV together, because honestly, that's all our almost 40-year-old bodies have energy for. But once in a while, my husband will smile at me a certain way that makes my heart skip a beat and we'll turn off the shows and head to the bedroom. It's always spontaneous, never planned, and to be honest, it's the best.

For us, it's all about quality, not quantity. Every couple is different, so we don't pay attention to the "once a week" rule, or schedule sex to try and force it wherever we can. Of course I miss the sex life we had prior to having kids, but I also wouldn't trade the life we have now for the world. While it's true that our energy levels have plummeted over the years, our love and passion for one another is stronger than ever, and that is what makes the sex that much better . . . whenever it does happen.

Amazon's Selling a GIANT 8-Foot Beanbag, and BRB While We Cocoon in It Forever

Nap time and family movie nights are about to get a seriously cozy upgrade. We just stumbled upon ChillSack, a company that makes enormous foamy beanbags, and its largest option - a circular lounger that's a whopping eight feet in diameter - is quite the comfy sight to behold. It's so effin' huge, you could probably fit your entire family and a friend or two on top - or, ya know, you could just spread out solo, too.

The ginormous piece of furniture is filled with shredded memory foam rather than those tiny Styrofoam beads that fill traditional bean bags, and it weighs a whopping 92 pounds, so lifting it could easily double as an arm workout. ChillSack's sofa-like seat has a removable, machine-washable cover in case any sort of mid-chill-sesh wine spillages occur. Plus, it comes in various colors, ranging from easy-to-match hues like beige, gray, and brown to brighter options like pink, blue, and purple, so you're sure to find one that perfectly fits your living space.

So how does one get their hands - and, more importantly, their derrière - on this dreamy fluff ball? In addition to being sold on ChillSack's website, the lounger is available for purchase through Amazon Prime, so you can get this cocoon of comfort delivered straight to your doorstep in two days. Prices on Amazon range from $322 to $517 depending on which color and material you choose.

Ahead, take a look at a few photos of the ChillSack in all its cozy glory - you'll definitely feel inclined to make some room in your home for one of 'em.

This Doctor Is Encouraging Other Parents to Get Their Kids the Flu Vaccine After Her Son Passed Away

Laura Sidari, a doctor and mom, is encouraging parents to ensure their kids get the flu shot this year. In a heartbreaking Facebook post, Laura shared that her 4-year-old son Leon was one of the 180 children who tragically died from the flu last year.

"His smile was infectious, and his love for his brothers inspiring," she wrote. "Like roughly half of the children who die annually, he did not have a history of prior medical problems. His lungs were destroyed by bacterial pneumonia secondary to the flu. He died rapidly, only 2 days after showing general flu symptoms."

As a medical professional, Laura wasn't planning on skipping Leon's flu shot all together, she just wanted to put it off for a few weeks. "As a mother, I wish I had fully appreciated the risk of the flu to my healthy child," she said. "I had delayed his shot to align with a well-child visit later in the season, which he did not survive to attend."

"Holiday planning and fall festivities can wait, but the flu shot cannot."

She went on to explain that the benefits of getting your kids the flu shot greatly outweighs any risks. "It has been medically established that the flu shot reduces the risk of influenza-related mortality by 65 percent for healthy children," said Laura. "Of the children who die annually from flu-related complications, roughly 80 percent did not have their flu shot that season. It is the best option available to prevent child death due to the flu."

Now, Laura's going the extra mile to ensure that other parents get their children their shots on time.

"Leon is my reason this season, and every season, for getting flu shots on time," she said. "This is the best time of the year to get the shot. Holiday planning and fall festivities can wait, but the flu shot cannot. If Leon or another little person is your reason for getting the flu shot this year, I ask that you consider sharing a family photo and spreading the word so that others may know, too."

She also has a bit of advice for busy parents: hold each other accountable for getting your kids the shots sooner rather than later.

"Since losing Leon, I have encountered many other loving and responsible parents who have delayed or missed the flu shots for their children in previous seasons," Laura told POPSUGAR. "This has included other physician parents. It is a busy time of the year. There are multiple demands on our time and energy, especially as the holidays approach. Things like the flu shot can slip through the cracks. As parents, we need to support one another in sorting through these priorities."

We Go Out to Dinner For Thanksgiving Because I Just Can't

Last year during the holidays, I started the most brilliant tradition with my family (in my opinion, at least). We went out to dinner for Thanksgiving, and it was truly amazing. Not only did I skip the holiday food shopping, prep, and clean-up I hate, but we enjoyed a totally distraction-free family meal away from the kids' toys and TV. We are 100 percent going out to dinner again this Thanksgiving, and after our awesome experience, I can't recommend restaurant dining instead of hosting to any busy parent enough.

The idea to make a reservation rather than cook a turkey dinner started brewing when I was complaining to my husband about how much food we end up throwing out at Thanksgiving each year. My four kiddos are very picky about what they'll eat. I'll inevitably end up fixing a ton of sides like stuffing, mashed potatoes, and yams, but only my husband indulges. And I'm a vegetarian, so the turkey is more or less just for him, as well. The kids will pick on a few bites, but most of it goes to waste (even after multiple creative leftover recipe attempts). I feel guilty about all the wasted food, annoyed about blowing the money, and also resentful that I spent so much time - time I really don't have as a mom of four - making dishes for my family that not everyone appreciates or enjoys.

Another thing that has frustrated me on Thanksgivings past? It never fails that after I've spent days sourcing recipes, gathering ingredients, and making the food, my family will sit down to dinner for about five minutes tops. Then it's "I'm full" and the kids run off to play. "Call us when it's time for pie!"

I can't tell you how much more enjoyable it was to dine out last year. My stress about the meal melted away as soon as I called and reserved a table at one of our favorite restaurants. In the days leading up to the holiday, in school pickup lines, and at playdates, my mom friends chattered about recipes and annoying relatives while I just looked on. On Thanksgiving morning, I relaxed rather than baked, and I couldn't care less about where the good silverware was.

We piled in the car and arrived to a beautifully decorated dining room and a perfectly-set table that I had nothing to do with arranging. The menu offered choices other than turkey, so everyone actually ate. And since the children were essentially trapped at the restaurant, our family time lasted longer than 10 minutes.

All in all, our Thanksgiving out was a success, and we already have a reservation for this year's dinner. And to all my fellow parents who stress for days prepping for the holiday, I hope this inspires you to break tradition and start a new one. I guarantee you won't regret it.

Jonathan Van Ness Reveals This "Gorgeous Vodka" as His Go-To Drink For the Season

Jonathan Van Ness knows a thing or two about cocktails, and now that it's the holiday season, the Queer Eye star is especially ready to kick back and relax with a mixed beverage. As a brand partner with Smirnoff, Jonathan is helping to promote awareness of using clean ingredients in alcoholic drinks. In October, the iconic vodka brand announced that it went non-GMO, specifically opting to use non-GMO corn during distillation. At a recent event hosted by Smirnoff, Jonathan sat down with POPSUGAR to share which drinks he (and the rest of us) will be sipping on this season.

For a simple quaff and a "moderation moment," Jonathan says a cranberry Smirnoff No. 21 does the trick for him. But if he wants to "shake up a moment," then he goes for the "Van Ness," a pleasant blend of Smirnoff No. 21, blackberries, lemon juice, agave nectar, and club soda garnished with a rosemary sprig. Or, if you want Jonathan's description of it, then it's "this lemony, citrusy, rosemary-ish, blackberry-ish Smirnoff No. 21 non-GMO gorgeous vodka." Altogether, the fusion of flavors make for a refreshing drinking experience.

"I think getting into a non-GMO space is great," Jonathan said. "Anywhere we can just have a space to make things more simple and a little bit cleaner - I love that. It feels like an opportunity to be a little bit more balanced and a way to be a little bit more diverse in where we get our ingredients." These sentiments echo a growing fancy for more transparency in the food and drink industry. After all, the use of fresh ingredients is something that's become much more important to cocktail-lovers.

In addition to having a solid background as a hairstylist, comedian, podcast host, and TV personality, Jonathan Van Ness clearly also knows how to partner with brands for causes that he's passionate about. I was already a big fan of Jonathan before because of his shining personality and upbeat aura, but seeing him at the event, getting behind the bar in front of attendees and making a few drinks with the bartender, made me love him even more - along with the red sweater and overalls. By the end of the night, even I felt like I could dabble into the world of mixology (and believe me, I'm no cocktail connoisseur).

Whether or not you decide to try out the "Van Ness" at your next holiday party, Jonathan still has just one tip for making sure your drinks are good: "Wash your hands before you put the ice in if you're using your hands. Don't get your germies in the ice!"

The flakes will obviously taste like bananas, and the box pictured in the photo above reads that the product will be naturally flavored. Michelle Obama Weighs in on the #MeToo Movement and Why There’s More Work to Do

In celebration of International Day of the Girl, Michelle Obama made an appearance on Thursday morning's live broadcast of Today, where she launched the Obama Foundation's Global Girls Alliance. During her sit-down with hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, the former first lady answered questions about the current political climate before weighing in on the #MeToo movement with a thoughtful response about the importance of fighting for change.

"I'm surprised at how much has changed but how much has not changed," she said. "Enough is enough. The world is a, sadly, dangerous place for women and girls, and we see that again and again. I think young women are tired of it. They're tired of being undervalued, they're tired of being disregarded, they're tired of their voices not being invested in and heard."

When asked by Kotb about resistance to the movement, Obama said, "That's what happens with change." She continued, "Change is not a direct, smooth path . . . There's going to be a little upheaval. There's going to be a little discomfort, but I think it's up to the women out there to say, 'Sorry that you feel uncomfortable, but I'm now paving the way for the next generation.'"

The Global Girls Alliance is a project created to help empower adolescent girls worldwide through education. The alliance will support over 1,500 grassroots organizations by using social fundraising platforms, such as Go Fund Me, to help them raise money.

You'll Start Toe-Tapping When You See How Easy It Is to Dress Like the Walmart Yodel Boy

It's basically impossible to forget the greatest meme of 2018. The 11-year-old country crooner won our hearts (and the hearts of celebrities everywhere) with his rendition of "Lovesick Blues" and ended up visiting The Ellen DeGeneres Show, performing at Coachella, and releasing his debut EP. Cool, we were totally doing those things in middle school too . . .

9 Things You Shouldn't Tell Your Friends About Your Marriage

While our friends are often our biggest supporters and "chosen family," there are a few things you should avoid telling them about your marriage. Why? Well, in some cases it would just violate your spouse's privacy, and in other cases, it could taint how people view the marriage . . . which can be detrimental in the long run. In certain situations, it may be advisable to only tell certain friends "certain things" and vice versa. No matter what, be careful when you share information about your marriage - lest it be held against either of you down the line.

The Biggest Mistake I Made Before Hiking to Machu Picchu

Can I confess something to you? I am addicted to adventure. No matter the day, my mind thirsts for adventure the way some yearn for their first cup of coffee. So when I had the opportunity to hike the four-day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu not too long ago, as you can imagine, the thought of this trek made me high on thrill.

Little did I know this adventure would unfortunately be one of the worst experiences of my life due to some unforeseen circumstances. Let's just say I brought home an unwanted souvenir from the trip: a parasite.

Would I make the trek again? Yes! Machu Picchu is an incredible place to discover in person, not to mention it is one of the new seven wonders of the world. But would I change a few things before making the trek again? Absolutely.

If trekking along the 26-mile Inca Trail is in your future or if the thought has ever crept into your mind, make sure you take into consideration the valuable eight lessons I learned from my experience.

The One Product That's Made Bedtime SO Much Easier For My Family

It was 10 p.m. and I was on the rocking chair in my toddler's bedroom waiting for her to sleep, like my husband or I had done every night for the past five nights. We had just returned from a trip abroad and were cursing ourselves for "breaking" our child who once slept through the night, but now had all sorts of new and complicated sleeping patterns and requests for us to try to figure out. She needed it to be light, but not too light. The sound machine that used to softly lull her to sleep now jolted her awake the second it shut off automatically after 42 minutes. I was desperate, texting my husband from her bedroom (and hiding under a blanket so she couldn't see the light from my phone). My husband and I frequently come up with parenting inventions and at that moment, an idea struck. I texted him immediately and, as you can see, I really thought I struck gold with this one:

The product that "seemed to exist"? It's called the Hatch Baby Rest ($59.99), and it's a game-changer. It doesn't run off batteries and it doesn't come in cute animal shapes, but it is what we actually needed. I placed my order on Amazon before I stealthily left her bedroom.

Our Hatch arrived two days later, and here's what I love about it:

  • I am able to set programs based on her schedule. Right now we have a bedtime program, which runs every day from 7:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. with the dim light and ocean sounds. We have a "Time to Rise" program that turns on a pink light at 7 a.m. to let our daughter know that it's an acceptable time for her to wake up. She's still learning what "Time to Rise" means, but we'll get there! And we have it turn for her naps on the weekends.
  • It's synced to my phone via Bluetooth, so I can make adjustments as needed without stepping inside her bedroom.
  • It's small and lightweight, which makes it easy to pack on vacations.
  • We've been able to adapt it to our daughter's needs. She initially was okay sleeping in a dark room, so we'd have the light turn off after two hours. Now she needs the nightlight, so we simply changed the settings and keep the light on all night. It is one of those rare products that I know would have been good when she was an infant, and is still useful 2.5 years later.

It's $60, so above the price point I had set for my invention, but was well-worth the extra $10.
