Jonathan Van Ness Reveals This "Gorgeous Vodka" as His Go-To Drink For the Season
Jonathan Van Ness knows a thing or two about cocktails, and now that it's the holiday season, the Queer Eye star is especially ready to kick back and relax with a mixed beverage. As a brand partner with Smirnoff, Jonathan is helping to promote awareness of using clean ingredients in alcoholic drinks. In October, the iconic vodka brand announced that it went non-GMO, specifically opting to use non-GMO corn during distillation. At a recent event hosted by Smirnoff, Jonathan sat down with POPSUGAR to share which drinks he (and the rest of us) will be sipping on this season.
For a simple quaff and a "moderation moment," Jonathan says a cranberry Smirnoff No. 21 does the trick for him. But if he wants to "shake up a moment," then he goes for the "Van Ness," a pleasant blend of Smirnoff No. 21, blackberries, lemon juice, agave nectar, and club soda garnished with a rosemary sprig. Or, if you want Jonathan's description of it, then it's "this lemony, citrusy, rosemary-ish, blackberry-ish Smirnoff No. 21 non-GMO gorgeous vodka." Altogether, the fusion of flavors make for a refreshing drinking experience.
"I think getting into a non-GMO space is great," Jonathan said. "Anywhere we can just have a space to make things more simple and a little bit cleaner - I love that. It feels like an opportunity to be a little bit more balanced and a way to be a little bit more diverse in where we get our ingredients." These sentiments echo a growing fancy for more transparency in the food and drink industry. After all, the use of fresh ingredients is something that's become much more important to cocktail-lovers.
In addition to having a solid background as a hairstylist, comedian, podcast host, and TV personality, Jonathan Van Ness clearly also knows how to partner with brands for causes that he's passionate about. I was already a big fan of Jonathan before because of his shining personality and upbeat aura, but seeing him at the event, getting behind the bar in front of attendees and making a few drinks with the bartender, made me love him even more - along with the red sweater and overalls. By the end of the night, even I felt like I could dabble into the world of mixology (and believe me, I'm no cocktail connoisseur).
Whether or not you decide to try out the "Van Ness" at your next holiday party, Jonathan still has just one tip for making sure your drinks are good: "Wash your hands before you put the ice in if you're using your hands. Don't get your germies in the ice!"

Banana Creme Frosted Flakes Are Happening, So It's Okay If You Need a Minute
Where's Gwen Stefani when you need her? Just months after introducing a limited-edition Pumpkin Spice flavor, Frosted Flakes is adding another new flavor to its lineup: Banana Creme. According to an Instagram user who posted the news online on Friday, Banana Creme Frosted Flakes will be on their way "soon," though no official date has been set.
The flakes will obviously taste like bananas, and the box pictured in the photo above reads that the product will be naturally flavored. Though it's not super clear when we can expect to find Banana Creme Frosted Flakes in grocery stores (or if they'll even be available nationwide), what I do know is that this flavor sounds like a full-on party in my mouth and my body is READY for it. This sh*t really is bananas.

Kate debuted a magenta Alexander McQueen dress that came complete with a tulip skirt and three-quarter sleeves. The color, being as gorgeous as it was, was Kate's foundation for the outfit. Exactly What Guests Were Expected to Wear to Princess Eugenie's Elegant Wedding
Casual is not a word you would use to describe Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's nuptials - or any other royal wedding for that matter. At the elegant event on Oct. 12 at Windsor Castle, guests were expected to look the part in morning dress.
What does that entail exactly? Per the official invitation, male attendees were expected to wear their morning coats, and female attendees were asked to wear day dresses with hats. A morning coat is a formal jacket with tails, which is then paired with a waistcoat, trousers, and typically a top hat. The day dress needs to be both formal and daytime-appropriate - and in case you hadn't noticed, the hat is an essential element.
Though the wind proved to be a bit of an issue, it didn't stop guests from looking fancy in their formalwear. Ahead, see examples of how guests stuck to the dress code.

Her dress featured pops of neon green, pink, yellow, complete with a white collar. Sarah Ferguson, Mother of the Bride, Carried a Vintage Clutch With a Very Important Meaning
Sarah Ferguson, mother of the gorgeous bride Princess Eugenie, arrived at the ceremony next to her first daughter's side, Princess Beatrice, who wore a Ralph & Russo bridesmaid look. The colors of their outfits popped as they made their way up the stairs side by side, Beatrice in a deep shade of indigo and the Duchess of York in a teal blazer-like dress with satin lapels by Emma Louise Design. (Many people are speculating she chose green to match the emeralds on Eugenie's tiara.) A short train wrapped around her back and blew in the wind, drawing attention to her wide brim hat and the affixed bow, which sparked some reactions Twitter.
Her clutch may not be the first thing you notice, but the neutral-toned vintage Manolo Blahnik accessory actually dates back. It was carried by Susan Barrantes, Sarah's own mother, at her wedding to the Duke of York in 1986. If that's not an homage to the strong bond a mother shares with her daughter, what is? She kept it close to her as she showed off her bright ensemble and headed inside to watch Eugenie take this very important step. We can only hope Eugenie will treasure the item, too, and wear it to her own daughter's wedding down the line.

There's a Very Special Hidden Detail in Princess Eugenie's Wedding Dress
Princess Eugenie of York may only be ninth in line to the throne, but she certainly knows how to make a fashion statement. Besides the lack of veil and her scandalously exposed back, anyone with a sharp eye may have caught another interesting feature of Princess Eugenie's gorgeous wedding gown: it's not plain white. The head-turning dress, created by British designer Peter Pilotto, has a subtle garland pattern that is easy to miss but that has an important symbolic meaning for Eugenie. The 28-year-old princess worked closely with the designers to collaborate on the dress, and the result is a gown that has a lot more detail to it than it seems at first glance.
Included in the detail design is a thistle for Scotland as a nod to Balmoral, the Scottish holiday home to the royal family; a shamrock for Ireland, which represents Eugenie's maternal side of the family; the York rose, which is the symbol of the House of York; and ivy, which alludes to the Ivy Cottage where Princess Eugenie and her new husband Jack Brooksbank will live after the wedding. According to the official press release, these special symbols were then "reinterpreted in a garland of rope like motifs, woven into a jacquard of silk, cotton and viscose blend."
For Pilotto, creating pieces that tell a story is not new to him. As he told Pret-a-Reporter back in 2015, "You don't really know our clothes from the runway. You need to experience them in person and touch them to understand how much work, experimentation, patterns and building goes into every collection." Check out the gallery for an up-close-and-personal look at Eugenie's striking gown.
Princess Eugenie's "Something Blue" Was So Small, We Bet You Missed It
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are officially married! The couple wed at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle on Oct. 12, surrounded by all their family and friends. For the occasion, Eugenie wore a beautiful wedding dress, which was designed by Peter Pilotto, and had elegant hair and makeup to match. While the wedding may have come and gone, we're still obsessing over the details, including Princess Eugenie's "something blue," which was blue thistle flowers nestled in her bouquet. The thistle has a special meaning for the couple, representing their fondness for Balmoral.
Although the young royals are steering away from protocol, they're also sticking to and valuing a few chosen traditions, including the bride's "something blue." Meghan Markle, for example, found not one but two ways to incorporate this custom into her nuptials in May. She wore a baby blue, square Asprey gemstone as the couple drove off to their evening reception, and she later revealed that she had a piece of blue fabric stitched into her veil, which came from the dress she wore on her and Prince Harry's first date. Talk about meaningful!
Naomi Campbell Brought So Much Cou-Cou-Couture to Eugenie's Wedding, We're Out of Breath
Please, hold our things while we catch our breath. Naomi Campbell's entrance at Princess Eugenie's wedding left us gasping for air. I mean, is there any other guest who dazzled quite this much? While Cara Delevingne's tuxedo was edgy indeed, Naomi's Ralph & Russo Couture outfit, lined with devoré ostrich feathers and a cape - yes, a cape! - was glamorous. Naomi added her own special touches with black tights, leather gloves, a top handle bag, and a diamond choker that matched the crystal stones woven onto her look. Even the motion of reaching for her hat, just to keep it intact in the wind, appeared to be a high fashion pose. Why, no, Naomi needs no vibrant color to brighten our day. As far as we're concerned, she could've been walking down a runway.
You're Not Alone: Everyone Thought Sarah Ferguson's Wedding Hat Looked Like the Golden Snitch
Sarah Ferguson made quite the fashion statement at Princess Eugenie's wedding, just as we expected. The Duchess of York suited up in a bold green outfit for her daughter's big day, wearing a blazer-like dress with satin lapels by Emma Louise Design and carrying a vintage clutch that her own mother carried at her wedding to the Duke of York back in 1986. Aww! Though Sarah's homage to her mom was certainly sweet, there was one other outfit detail that people can't stop talking about: her hat.
The mother of the bride wore a wide-brimmed hat that perfectly matched her dress and featured a sizable bow jutting out on the sides. As soon as Sarah arrived at St. George's Chapel to watch her daughter tie the knot with Jack Brooksbank, Twitter erupted with hysterical reactions to her standout accessory, with many drawing comparisons to the golden snitch from the Harry Potter series. I mean, I'm not gonna lie: it does look a bit like she grabbed the elusive Quidditch ball from Harry's grasp, increased its size tenfold, and secured it to the back of her hat. Sorry, Sarah - there's no unseeing this one.
Princess Eugenie Pulled Off a Fashion Move That No Other Royal Bride's Ever Done Before
On Oct. 12, Princess Eugenie stunned everyone when she walked down the aisle in a stunning gown created by British designer Peter Pilotto. While the full skirt, the beautiful embroideries, the incredibly long train, and the lack of veil might have been the first things that you noticed, there is one detail that is sure to go down in history: her back.
When working with her chosen designer, Princess Eugenie specifically requested an open back in order to display the scars she was left with after going through corrective surgery at the age of 12. The bride explained in a pre-wedding interview that she "had an operation on my back when I was 12 and you'll see on Friday, but it's a lovely way of honoring the people who looked after me. It's a way of standing up for young people who also go through this."
On top of having a special meaning to Eugenie, this choice also meant that she became the very first British royal to wear a backless gown on her wedding day. Over the years, royal brides have stuck to traditional dresses featuring a lot of lace and very little skin, including Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, who both wore long-sleeved gowns.
Read on to get a closer look at Eugenie's wedding dress details, and then take a closer look at the beautiful tiara she wore on her big day, along with the Charlotte Olympia heels.
Princess Eugenie's Wedding Dress Was So Stunning, She Left Us Breathless
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are married! After months of speculation, we finally got to see what Eugenie's wedding gown looked like, as well as who she entrusted with the task of creating the most important outfit of her life - and, well, it certainly didn't disappoint. For her big day, the princess wore a regal gown by British designer Peter Pilotto, with a pair of Charlotte Olympia heels.
With a modern and feminine silhouette, Eugenie's dress looked like it came straight out of a fairy tale. It featured a beautiful neckline which folded around the shoulders, a full pleated skirt, and a long, flowing train. The most striking detail, however, was the low back, which was a specific request of Princess Eugenie as she wanted to show off the scar she got after having surgery to correct her scoliosis at the age of 12.
But of course, a royal wedding dress wouldn't be the same if it didn't come with a few subtle details. Just like Meghan Markle chose to have flowers from the Commonwealth countries embroidered on her veil, Eugenie asked Peter Pilotto to include a number of symbols that are meaningful to her on the design: the Thistle for Scotland, which acknowledges the couple's love for Balmoral; a Shamrock for Ireland, which is a nod to the Ferguson family; and the York Rose and ivy, which represent Eugenie and Jack's home.
Eugenie accessorized her stunning gown with the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara - which was lent to her by the queen - as well as diamond and emerald drop earrings, but surprised everyone by choosing not to wear a veil. Read on to see Princess Eugenie's incredible dress in more detail.
All of the Outfits From Princess Eugenie's Wedding We'll Be Talking About For Years to Come
While dressing up for a royal wedding can feel intimidating to most, these guests proved that they knew exactly what to wear for Princess Eugenie's big day. Cara Delevingne looked cool as heck in a cropped tuxedo and top hat while her sister, Poppy, opted for a light blue lace dress and a feathered hat.
From Meghan Markle's showstopping Noel Stewart fascinator and navy Givenchy dress to
Kate Middleton making millennial pink a thing of the past in a magenta Alexander McQueen number, there was no shortage of amazing wedding guest outfits. (Personally, I'm still fangirling over how amazing Naomi Campbell looked in her Ralph & Russo tweed ensemble.) Read on to see all angles of their outfits ahead.

Amal Clooney Wore a Black Button-Up Cardigan Dress That Screams Cozy AND Chic
Amal Clooney spoke at the 2018 Pennsylvania Conference For Women in Philadelphia on Friday, and she wore the chic sweater dress your closet has been begging for. She wore a black, knitted button-up sweater dress - essentially a long cardigan - and showed us exactly how to rock a sweater dress, which can be tricky. It's no surprise that Amal is particularly on trend with this cozy look; cardigans with buttons were all over Spring 2019 runways, and sweater dresses (like the ones you wore in middle school but cuter) are making a comeback.
Amal's exact dress is by Paule Ka from its Spring/Summer 2019 collection, and there are plenty of similar dresses to shop. Like Amal, you can pair yours with nude pumps (and Le Vian black diamond stud earrings) to dress it up, or keep things casual with your favorite booties. Didn't Catch Princess Eugenie's Something Blue? It Was Hiding in Her Bouquet
Princess Eugenie's something blue was hiding in her bouquet! At her wedding to Jack Brooksbank on Oct. 11 at Windsor Castle's St. George's Chapel, the royal carried a crisp white bouquet with blue thistle, which contrasted the autumnal flowers that decorated the chapel.
Though the bouquet followed tradition, the pop of color was a nice touch. Florist Amelia Christoffers broke down its significance to the Evening Standard. "Princess Eugenie's bouquet has followed the traditional royal line of white, sweet-smelling British flowers with plush green foliage, but with an added twist," she said. "Perhaps as a nod to her Scottish heritage, her beautiful arrangement includes blue thistle, which adds a contemporary pop of color and personality."
In addition, Eugenie included a sprig of myrtle, which comes from a long tradition started by Queen Victoria in the 19th century. As it's told, the then queen planted a myrtle shrub shortly after her wedding, and royals have since picked myrtle from that same shrub for their nuptials. Ahead, look at pictures of Eugenie's elegant bouquet.

This Greatest Showman-Themed Wedding Will Make Your Heart Sing
The 2017 movie musical The Greatest Showman celebrates acceptance, love, and unity - kind of like a wedding! Fittingly, photographer Claire Celeste decided to style a wedding shoot to pay homage to the movie.
In the film, Phillip Carlyle (Zac Efron) falls in love with Anne Wheeler, an acrobat and trapeze artist played by Zendaya. Their sizzling chemistry in the movie is undeniable and the inspiration behind this photo shoot. "This truly was a celebration of humanity based after the movie The Greatest Showman and the love story of Phillip Carlyle and Anne Wheeler," Claire said.
The shoot took place at 1010 West in Orlando, FL, a marvelous historic venue that's over a century old, and Kristen Michelle Wilson, the first female ringmaster for Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus, served as the officiant.
While the final photos look gorgeous and glamorous, a lot of hard work went into the production of this shoot. "Getting a crew this talented and varied together was no small feat," Claire said. "Kind of like coordinating an actual circus!" Scroll through for some big-top inspiration for your big day.
Prince Andrew Helped Eugenie With Her Wedding Gown, and the Endearing Moment Was Caught on Camera
Princess Eugenie was the belle of the ball at her wedding to Jack Brooksbank on Friday, Oct. 12. As she arrived at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle for her big day, 28-year-old Eugenie was beaming in her structured Peter Pilotto gown and Greville Emerald Kokoshnik tiara.
Eugenie was joined by her father, Prince Andrew; the duo rode to St. George's together in a Rolls Royce Phantom VI and exited their car to roars from the crowd. Andrew looked prouder than ever of his younger daughter, and he was so committed to making sure Eugenie looked perfect for photographers on the steps of the chapel that he bent down to help smooth out the train of her gorgeous gown. Inside, he was equally full of pride while walking Eugenie down the aisle. The sweet outdoor moment was caught on camera - see it below now, then scroll through for more photos of the cute father-daughter pair.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Cast Weighs In on How a Riverdale Crossover Could Work
Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has yet to premiere its first season on the streaming giant, but there's already one very important question on fans' minds: Will there ever be a crossover with Riverdale?
Although The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina comics are rooted in the same universe as the rest of the classic Archie characters we see on The CW's Riverdale - Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, etc. - it doesn't look like they're going to cross paths anytime soon, no matter how many cute selfies Sabrina star Kiernan Shipka posts with the Riverdale cast on Instagram. Both Riverdale and the new Sabrina series are helmed by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, who also serves as the chief creative officer of Archie comics; yet, what might keep Sabrina from making an appearance at Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe anytime soon is simply a matter of the networks each show is tied to - The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will be on Netflix, while Riverdale is on The CW.
There's also the level of supernatural occurrences in each show to contend with. While Sabrina embraces darker supernatural elements (she's a witch, after all), Riverdale is typically just dark, save for hallucinations of zombie Jason Blossom and floating twin babies. All that aside, the cast of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina seems open to connecting the shows, which they elaborated on during a recent interview during New York Comic-Con.
After acknowledging that it's not a decision that she would ever be able to make - it's up to Aguirre-Sacasa and the networks - Lucy Davis, who plays Hilda Spellman, said she hopes that a crossover would be done "not just for the sake of it."
"You would want it to be real, authentic in some way, and not campy."
"It should happen way in the future, if it does happen," she said. "I think it's good to settle who we are. Riverdale knows who they are, and they're amazing. And it's good to be in your own worlds and your own universe. Maybe if it does, you would want it to be real, authentic in some way, and not campy. We'd both have to be established before that."
Shipka agreed, and even offered up her opinion on how the crossover episode could happen. "I personally think that the only way a crossover could really work is if it was a very isolated character that came into our world," she said. "If it was a very . . . if somehow, someone got off the beaten path and they wandered into our world. A funeral, perhaps? Or something like that. But I think the second that you start involving more and more people, it kind of could get crazier. I mean, who am I? I'm not a writer or anything like that. But I do think that it just selfishly would be really fun to do."
In the horror comic, Sabrina lives across from Riverdale in a town called Greendale, which is on the other side of Sweetwater River. Just like in the decidedly lighter, mid-'90s TGIF comedy Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, the young half-witch, half-mortal is developing her powers with the help of her aunts Hilda and Zelda, and a talking cat named Salem. Which characters from Riverdale would be a good fit across town? We'd put our money on someone like Cheryl Blossom.
If all else fails, however, Shipka also has another plan in mind. "We should send all of our show's monsters to Riverdale," she laughed. "Let them meet a few people."

Sarah Ferguson Is the Star of Her Own Show at Daughter Eugenie's Wedding
Sarah Ferguson was absolutely beaming as she arrived in style for her daughter Princess Eugenie's wedding in Windsor, England, on Friday. Clad in a fitted green dress and fanciful winged hat, Sarah was all smiles as she waved to the crowd while making her way into St. George's Chapel for the nuptials. She was also seen greeting photographers and journalists and chatting with daughter Beatrice inside the church. According to palace sources, Fergie was "very involved" in the planning of Eugenie's wedding, and by the looks of it, she was proud of the finished product.
Sarah and Prince Andrew welcomed Eugenie in 1990, and though their marriage came to an end six years later, they have stayed the best of friends. Despite their close relationship, Andrew's father, Prince Philip, has held a decades-long grudge against Sarah since her scandal-fueled separation from Andrew, and the rift was rumored to keep him from attending his granddaughter's wedding ceremony. Alas, the 97-year-old was front and center for the big day. Maybe a hatchet is being buried? Judging by these photos, Sarah was having too great of a time to be bothered about it - read through to see her in the spotlight.

It's official - Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are husband and wife! The couple tied the knot at Windsor Castle's St. George's Chapel (yep, the same place where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle got married) on Oct. 12, and the royal affair was straight out of a fairy tale. The 28-year-old princess looked positively radiant in an opulent white gown designed by Peter Pilotto and was escorted by her dad, Prince Andrew. Jack, on the other hand, cut a suave figure in a traditional morning suit and couldn't have looked any happier as he watched Eugenie make her way down the aisle.
Eugenie and Jack exchanged vows in front of their nearest and dearest, including Princess Beatrice, Sarah Ferguson, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince William, and celebrities like Ellie Goulding, Liv Tyler, Naomi Campbell, as well as a heavily pregnant Pippa Middleton. Prince George and Princess Charlotte served in their wedding party as a pageboy and flower girl, respectively, along with Beatrice, who was Eugenie's maid of honor. Just like Harry and Meghan, Eugenie and Jack also invited 1,200 members of the public to be part of their special day. How sweet, right?
Eugenie first met the wine merchant during a ski trip to Switzerland in 2010 and got engaged this past January. "[It] was love at first sight," Jack said during their first interview as an engaged couple. "We met when I was 20, he was 24," Eugenie added. "[We] fell in love. We have the same passions and drive for life." Congrats to the newlyweds!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Return to Their Wedding Venue For Princess Eugenie
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave us major flashbacks when they attended Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's wedding on Friday. The couple, who also tied the knot at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle this past May, looked like their usual gorgeous selves, as Meghan stunned in a blue coat and Harry donned a suit. Harry and Meghan were clearly feeling the love as they chatted with Kate and William, and it, of course, reminded us of their own special day.
Harry and Meghan's stunning appearance comes just days before the pair embarks on their tour of Australia and New Zealand. The duo will be making stops in Sydney, Dubbo, Melbourne, Fraser Island, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga, Wellington, Auckland, and Rotorua, and it will mark Harry and Meghan's first royal tour as a married couple. During their trip, Harry will also kick off his annual Invictus Games, and the duo will be joined by David Beckham, who was recently named an ambassador of the Paralympics-style event. So exciting!

The Chatty Royal Foursome Stuck Together in Their Seats at Princess Eugenie's Wedding
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's wedding on Oct. 12 brought out all our favorite royals. But of course we were especially excited to see power couple Meghan Markle and Prince Harry along with Kate Middleton and Prince William. Each of them are all too familiar with the royal spotlight, so it was nice to see them come out to the ceremony in support. They were even careful not to attract too much attention because they knew that it was Princess and Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's time to shine.
Still, it was hard to take your eyes off Meghan, Harry, Kate, and William. Not only did they all look amazing - we're still drooling over Meghan's navy blue ensemble - but they all seemed to be genuinely enjoying each other's company. Inside of the chapel, they were seen chatting and sharing a few laughs together before the ceremony began. Prince William and Kate even shared a sweet and subtle moment of PDA while sitting next to each other.

Princess Eugenie Could Actually Give Up Her Royal Title After Marrying Jack Brooksbank
Princess Eugenie gave us our second royal wedding of the year when she got married on Oct. 12. The 28-year-old wed Jack Brooksbank, a wine merchant who had been dating the princess since 2010. If you thought Eugenie's wedding would be on the same level as her cousin Harry's, you were probably shocked. Yes, she tied the knot at St. George's Chapel in Windsor (the same church where Meghan and Harry said their "I dos") and she got to wear a tiara for the first time - but instead of getting a shiny new title, as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did, Eugenie could potentially give hers up.
