According to Experts, This Is the Most Effective Way For Women to Lose Belly Fat

When it comes to burning body fat, a lot of women have the same target area: the belly. Much to the chagrin of many of us, belly fat is notoriously stubborn, and it's important to note that you can't spot reduce fat. In other words, simply being diligent about crunches isn't going to help you achieve your goal.

"Just as you can not influence where your body stores dreaded excess fat when it packs it on, you can't control where your metabolism opts to pull from when it taps into fat stores, which incidentally tends not to be from the region we gain it in the first place," Corey Phelps, founder and CEO of Cultivate by Corey and creator of the Cultivate365 program, told POPSUGAR.

That's not to say that we're powerless to reduce belly fat. A combination of diet and exercise can help us achieve this goal in a healthy manner. What types of diet and exercise, you ask? Here's what experts have to say about the nutrition and workout aspects of losing belly fat - and keeping it off.

The Meaning Behind Day of the Dead Sugar Skulls

Día de los Muertos is a colorful celebration to honor death and those who have passed, but when people ask me to explain the history behind this date, what exactly it entails, and why we remember the dead for a day or two (Nov. 1 and 2) or even an entire week, it gets tricky. There isn't one definition or way of observing Day of the Dead; it all depends on where you're from (what state in Mexico or even country), but I can say that some symbols and traditions run through all festivities.

Take, for example, skulls and skeletons. If there is one thing everyone probably knows about Día de los Muertos, it is that these two symbols are a big part of the day, specifically sugar skulls or "calaveritas de azúcar." If you've ever attended a Día de los Muertos event or seen an ofrenda (or altar), then you might have come across a white molded skull with a person's name written on its forehead and a series of sweets and ribbons decorating the rest. And while now you might be picturing yourself eating a delicious treat, these are not sweets you'd eat in Mexico.

There's meaning behind these molds and why they're made out of sugar. It all dates back to the Spanish conquest. While a tradition of honoring the dead already existed in Mexico at the time, the Spaniards brought about new learnings and customs and with that the idea of molding decorations from ingredients easily available. Sugar was accessible to Mexicans at the time, even those with little money, so it was a natural choice. Once they learned that they could make these skull molds with the ingredient and water (that's all it really is), the idea of the sugar skull evolved and grew to be an important symbol of the day.

Today, many different versions of the sugar skull exist. There are not only different sizes, but also coffins and skulls made out of chocolate and almonds (those you can eat!). But the meaning behind the calaverita remains the same.

Going back to the altar, skulls are placed as decorations to recognize the person who has passed. His or her name is written on the sugar skull's forehead and, depending on the age of the deceased, the size of the skull might vary - baby skulls are dedicated to those who passed at a young age and larger skulls are for adults. The colors of the skulls differ, too. Some are covered in ribbons and icing, others are dipped in glitter and decorated with bright adornments like hats and bows. While you'll find a variety of versions, you won't find any that lack color, because color reflects life, and the Day of the Dead celebrates just that.

The symbol is a commemoration of the person you are honoring whether dead or alive. That's why you don't have to wait for someone to pass to offer them a sugar skull; you can give one as a gift on Day of the Dead as a sweet reminder that death is the only thing guaranteed in this life or in the words of my mother "la calavera es un símbolo de la muerte, lo único seguro en la vida."

If You Want to Lose Weight and Keep It Off, Commit to These 10 Habits

You know what to do to lose fat, but the most difficult part of that equation is how to keep it off. Here are 10 expert tips to help you lose weight at a manageable pace, so you can maintain the new, slimmer, stronger you.

Tone Your Legs, Butt, Arms, and Abs - Every Inch! - With This 1 CrossFit Exercise

You're gonna be sore tomorrow. Just set yourself up for that. These wall balls are that intense! Walking might be an issue, because your legs and butt are going to feel a little wobbly. Oh, and your abs - try not to laugh tomorrow. Your arms? Someone else will have to brush your hair.

This standard CrossFit move is a total-body exercise; it will make you strong and build muscle, and it's also a cardio move. Really, it's the complete package! All you need are a soft medicine ball (not a hard slam ball) and a wall or a target on a rig. Start off light, with an six- or eight-pound med ball, and work your way up to a 14- or 20-pound ball.

Wall Ball

  • Stand in front of a wall holding your med ball with both hands in front of your chest.
  • Squat down low with your hips below your knees. As you straighten your legs, throw the ball up to a specific spot on the wall or a target, about eight to 10 feet from the floor. You want to use the power of your lower body to propel the ball up, coming onto the balls of your feet.
  • Keep your arms extended, ready to catch the ball after it bounces off the wall. This counts as one rep.
  • Complete three sets of 15 to 20 reps.

When you catch the ball on its way down, absorb its weight into your squat. Try to maintain a graceful, rhythmic movement, although your legs and arms will be on fire and you'll feel like your lungs might explode. You may hate wall balls more than burpees, but there's no denying it's the ultimate exercise for an efficient workout if you're short on time.

I'm a Trainer, and These Are My 15 Favorite Dumbbell Exercises For Building Muscle

What I'm about to tell you is no secret: lifting weights will help you decrease your fat mass and increase your lean muscle mass. There are many ways to build muscle, and the consensus is that lifting weights and incorporating compound exercises - moves that work multiple muscle groups at once - into your routine is the way to go.

As a trainer, I completely agree with this method, and I wanted to share some of my favorite dumbbell exercises with you. Some are specific to muscle groups, like the triceps extension, and others are compound exercises, like the 3-in-1 squat, curl, and press.

This is not a workout - you can find a bunch of them here. Instead, let these exercises inspire your next workout. Select three to five moves and add them into an existing program, or create a new workout with these moves.

Red Lobster Is So Keto-Friendly, You Might Struggle to Pick Just 1 Meal

If you do your research, you can put together a decent keto meal at just about any restaurant . . . including one that's known for its Cheddar Bay Biscuits. Yes, we're talking about Red Lobster, and no, the biscuits aren't keto. (But you can make a pretty delish low-carb biscuit at home.)

You'll have to steer clear of the pasta plates and fried dishes, but if you read the restaurant's nutrition information, you'll find that the menu features quite a few meals that cater to those on the keto diet. From appetizers to steak to (of course!) lobster, we've pulled together five low-carb, high-fat dishes that will fill the void left by those cheesy biscuits.

  • Appetizer: If you're simply too hungry to wait for your entrée, start with the Buffalo Chicken Wings. For under five carbs (and almost 50 grams of fat!), you'll get a plate of spicy wings, crunchy celery, and a creamy blue cheese dressing to drench it all in.
  • Salad: On its own, the Caesar Salad (minus the croutons, of course) isn't too filling, but when you top it with the Wood-Grilled Salmon, you've got one tasty meal. Stick with the caesar dressing that comes with the dish; it's high in fat and won't add any carbs to your meal.
  • Shrimp: If you're in the mood for a heaping platter of shrimp, order the Shrimp Your Way with double Garlic Shrimp Scampi. If you add a double side of Fresh Asparagus, you'll enjoy an entire buttery meal for only 16 grams of carbs.
  • Steak: Seafood not your thing? Go for the 7-oz. Sirloin. It's wood-grilled and perfectly seasoned, and it comes with two sides. Skip the Mashed Potatoes and order the Fresh Broccoli and Tomato-Mozzarella Caprese - your meal will still be under 20 grams of carbs.
  • Lobster: If you want heads to turn as the server brings food to your table, order the Live Maine Lobster (this is Red Lobster, after all). You'll get a whole steamed lobster, along with two sides. Stick with the sides mentioned above to keep it low-carb, and don't forget the extra butter!

Flatten and Tone Your Belly With These 16 Workouts and Exercises

Belly fat is a trouble spot for lots of women. And it's not just for aesthetic reasons; belly fat, or visceral fat, is the one that surrounds your organs and is the most dangerous for overall health. To get rid of it, many people turn to quick fixes such as juice cleanses and endless crunches. Turns out, getting rid of belly fat is complicated and can't be done with exercise alone.

You can't spot-reduce body fat, so doing a thousand crunches a day won't guarantee that you'll lose the fat from your midsection. Although exercise can help you tone and build muscle, it won't get rid of the fat from a specific body part. To burn fat, you have to lose weight all over by burning more calories than you take in - this is achieved by eating in a calorie deficit and exercising, preferably with HIIT, which burns more calories, targets belly fat, and helps you achieve the afterburn effect.

Luckily, you can rev up calorie burn with certain workouts and tone your ab muscles with specific exercises. Here are some of the best HIIT workouts to torch calories and ab-focused strength moves to help you flatten your belly once and for all.

Jillian Michaels Says Losing Weight and Building Muscle Isn’t About How Often You Work Out, It’s This

Jillian Michaels helped dozens of contestants lose hundreds of pounds and transform their lives as the tough-love trainer on The Biggest Loser, so she knows a thing or two about losing weight and building muscle. Between filming intense workouts for her Instagram page and her fitness app My Fitness by Jillian Michaels, she revealed to us the secret to losing weight and building muscle. Spoiler alert: it's more than just working out.

For fat loss, Jillian recommends lifting weights four times a week: each muscle group twice a week with two days of rest in between. But here's the kicker - she says you need to weight train four days a week to build muscle, too.

"The difference between weight loss and muscle is really about food," she told POPSUGAR. "If you want to lose weight, you have to create a calorie deficit. If you want to gain muscle, you need to have a calorie surplus."

Although Jillian isn't a dietitian, she recommends eating 10 percent more calories than you burn in a day to gain muscle. Registered dietitian and personal trainer Jim White, ACSM, also said to make sure you eat enough protein to put on muscle: 0.5 to 0.8 grams of protein per pound of body weight. So if someone weighs 150 pounds, he or she should be eating 75-120 grams of protein daily to gain muscle.

It's also key to let your muscles recover, especially if you are training so frequently. "While some believe that how you train matters regarding size or muscle gain, the truth of the matter is that it's about stress and recovery," Jillian added. "So as long as you stress the muscle then let it recover you will be achieving your goal, whether you lift heavy or do bodyweight resistance."

Turns out, your strength-training regimen can be the same whether you are trying to lose weight or put on muscle; at the end of the day, it's all about nutrition.

Beyond the Lattes: 30+ Healthy Pumpkin Spice Treats, Snacks, and Foods

Whether you're ready or not, pumpkin spice season is upon us. And if you're a pumpkin fan but also livin' that healthy lifestyle, fear not: there's tons of stuff for you, too.

It's true, though - pumpkin spice flavors aren't just for Oreos and sugary lattes (although we don't mind those now and then!). From protein powders to flax-and-pumpkin-seed granolas to oatmeals and Greek yogurts, it seems like pumpkin spice has invaded some of our healthiest staples and snacks. We're not mad about it. 'Tis the season, right?

According to the Experts, This Is Exactly How to Lose Weight and Keep It Off

If it feels like almost everyone around you is constantly trying to lose weight, you're not imagining things. The Center for Disease Control estimates that 70 percent of Americans are either overweight or obese, and predictions show that number will continue to increase. The reason is that no matter how big the weight-loss industry gets, the amount of people who are successfully able to lose weight (and more importantly, keep it off) is relatively small compared with the number that actually tries.

In an effort to understand the science behind how to effectively lose weight, POPSUGAR spoke with industry expert Dr. Justin Holtzman of the Holtzman Medical Group. "The most effective way to lose weight, and studies have shown this, is that you need to limit your total calories per day," Dr. Holtzman explains. "The most effective way to do this for long-term success is to track everything you eat every day, have a calorie limit, and don't exceed that limit".

Along with using this practice as a way to eat more mindfully, it also offers an excellent way to gauge how much you're really consuming on any given day. "If, for breakfast, you're having one cup of cereal and a half a cup of milk, measure each and write that down in a journal," Dr. Holtzman continues. "The beauty of the world we live in now is that we have apps that measure everything for us. I personally like Weight Watchers to track points for caloric intake, because it steers you toward foods that are less calorie dense. And by steering you toward foods that are less calorie dense, you stay fuller longer. You still have the volume of food, but you're not storing those calories as fat. This leads to long-term success in weight loss."

Rebecca Lee, registered nurse and founder of the natural health resource RemediesForMe.com, also offers excellent food suggestions to help with weight loss. She recommends apple cider vinegar (known to stimulate weight loss), coconut oil (which is a healthy fat that's metabolized differently in your body than other fats), probiotics (to help protect the natural flora in the gastrointestinal tract), water (which helps boost the metabolism), fiber (which adds bulk to food without an increase in calories so you stay full longer), and green tea (when digested, it signals stored body fats to be released into the bloodstream to be used as energy).

POPSUGAR also spoke with Jill McKay, certified personal trainer and founder of Narrow Road Fitness, about her tips for effectively losing weight. She explains that when it comes to diets, it's not one size fits all. McKay encourages people to "set yourself a plan that works for you. Not all plans works for all people - if there was a way to eat healthy, everyone would be doing it!" She also explains that you have to "stick to the boundaries you set for yourself. Remember, you are the ONLY one responsible for your eating (and exercising) habits. Your body is different from others', so your metabolism may be faster or slower than someone else's. You may respond better to a Paleo style of eating, whereas someone else may have more success at a vegan lifestyle." McKay also cautions that you should give yourself a reasonable amount of time to lose weight, saying, "Weight creeps on slowly, but it also takes a long time to lose. Consistency over time is important." It's also important to note that you should always seek medical consultation before starting or drastically changing any diet plans.

This Sports Dietitian Explains Why You Shouldn't Cut Carbs If You Are Trying to Build Muscle

If you're trying to put on muscle, you're probably lifting weights and loading up on protein; protein is the building block of muscle and helps build and repair tissue, so it's essential if you want to see gains. But many people make the mistake of focusing too much on protein and neglecting carbs.

Carbs have been demonized as the macronutrient that will spike your blood sugar, make you store fat, and derail your fitness efforts. In reality, eating carbs can actually help you lose weight. And like protein, it's essential for gaining strength and growing muscle. Jim White, RDN, ACSM, owner of Jim White Fitness and Nutrition Studios, recommends a high-carbohydrate diet for muscle growth since carbs are the main source of energy that your muscles will use.

"Carbohydrates increase glycogen stores in the body, and thus allow for more intense workouts," he told POPSUGAR. Glycogen is used by your body to fuel exercise, especially high-intensity exercise with moderate-level repetition and resistance.

"During workouts, the body relies and depends on muscle glycogen," he explained. "Thus, having low levels of muscle glycogen, which would arise from a diet that is low in carbohydrates, would negatively affect performance for high-intensity exercise." Especially after you exercise, carbs are important for muscle repair and renewal in a process called "muscle glycogen resynthesis."

So while, yes, it's important to fuel up with protein after a workout, you should also get some carbs in, too. Stumped on what that should be? Check out our list of recovery snacks that provide the perfect amount of protein and carbs to fuel your muscles and help you recover. If you want to build muscle overall, Jim recommends a macro breakdown of 55 percent carbs, 25 percent protein, and 20 percent fat.

Not Sure What to Do at the Gym? Follow Along With This Trainer's Weekly Workout Plan

One of the best ways to have success at the gym, before ever touching a weight, is to have a plan. We've all been there before: you get to the gym and sit around wasting time because you aren't sure what you want to do. In order to help you get into a routine, I've created a weekly workout plan to save time and build muscle.

If you're trying to build muscle, follow this workout plan for four to six weeks. You can also just use this plan to help get you into a routine - definitely reference it on those days when you're just too tired to think.

None of the exercises are set in stone, so if something is too complicated or too easy, please feel free to make the necessary changes. The same thing applies with the weight. I'd rather you make modifications and adjustments when necessary and perform the exercises with proper form, as opposed to performing the exercises incorrectly.

Before every workout, be sure to warm up with dynamic exercises and activate your core and glutes. Don't forget to cool down after every workout.

Trying to Boost Your Metabolism? An Expert Says These Are the 4 Things That Actually Work

Metabolism is one of those words that gets thrown around a lot in health and wellness, especially if you're trying to lose weight. Yes, you can boost your metabolism, but eating hot peppers and drinking cold water first thing in the morning won't work. In order to learn more about our metabolism and how we can boost it, we spoke to Dori Arad, PhD, RDN, CDE, a Mount Sinai Physiolab director.

"When people refer to metabolism at its most simplistic form or meaning, it's taking stored energy that is in food and liquid and transforming it to usable energy or stored energy in the body," Dr. Arad told POPSUGAR. He explained that metabolism is "a very complex and involved process with a lot of different factors." According to Dr. Arad, when people refer to metabolism, they're referring to their metabolic rate, "which simply means energy production - how quick and efficient they produce energy."

Dr. Arad explained that everyone is born with a different metabolic rate; some people are able to produce more energy, resulting in a higher metabolism, whereas others produce less energy and have a slower metabolism. Although everybody is different, Dr. Arad explained that it is possible to biohack or boost your metabolism by eating well and becoming more physically active.

This Is Exactly How Much Cardio You Should Be Doing If You Want to Lose Weight

Strength training, cardio, and a healthy diet are said to make up the perfect formula for weight loss. But sometimes it's hard to know how much you need of each category. In particular, the amount of cardio you need in order to lose weight has been up for debate - some people think you need a lot, while others think that it's all about strength training.

Before deciding how much cardio is best for weight loss, Austin Lopez, CSCS and owner of Ausome Fit, said it's important to understand some basics of how your body functions; "3,500 is the number of calories in a single pound of fat and therefore the number required for you to burn in a week to lose one pound a week," Lopez told POPSUGAR.

This is how that breaks down in terms of sessions per week. According to Lopez, if you want to burn 3,500 calories in a week in order to lose one pound, you have three options:

  • Do 7 days of 30-minute cardio sessions and eat a clean diet with an average calorie intake.
  • Do 5 days of 30-minute cardio sessions and eat a lightly calorie-restricted diet.
  • Do 0 to 3 days of 30-minute cardio sessions and eat a medium calorie-restricted diet.

The third option might look appealing to you, but Lopez reminds us that "this becomes unsustainable very quickly."

Similarly, Mahri Relin, certified personal trainer and founder of Body Conceptions, said she encourages her clients do four to five sessions of cardio a week, each lasting about 30 to 45 minutes. Celebrity fitness trainer Katherine Greiner recommends at least 30 to 45 minutes of cardio a day or 20 minutes of HIIT cardio intervals.

It's important you don't overdo it, though. "Cardio-heavy workouts can leave people famished, only to replace, if not exceed, the calories they have burned," Relin told POPSUGAR. "When the body has too much cardio it can result in adrenal fatigue, which can actually lead to weight gain," Greiner added.

Another thing all three trainers agree on unanimously is that these sessions of cardio must also be paired with regular strength training. You can't have one without the other in the hunt for weight loss.

13 Exercises to Strengthen Your Legs - and None of Them Are Lunges!

There isn't one perfect way to tone and strengthen your legs. If you're trying to increase your lower-body strength, you've probably read and heard that you should be doing exercises like squats, sprints, deadlifts, and lunges.

As a trainer, I've found that people either love lunges or absolutely despise them. If you relate to the latter and need lunge-free exercises to strengthen your legs without cringing, continue reading. Don't do all 13 exercises as a workout; you will regret it. Instead, select three to five moves and begin to incorporate them into your leg workouts.

This Riced Cauliflower Stuffing Just Made Our Low-Carb Thanksgiving Dreams Come True

Trying to eat healthy(ish) on Thanksgiving is like navigating a minefield of simple carbs: dinner rolls, pumpkin pie, and, my favorite, stuffing. The traditional Thanksgiving side dish is typically made with breadcrumbs and lots of butter. And while butter isn't a carb (sorry, Regina George), bread definitely is, which means it's off-limits for keto dieters and anyone else looking to eat low-carb.

We didn't think it was possible to have a low-carb stuffing alternative until we saw this Green Giant Riced Cauliflower Stuffing. Instagram user @reducingrhonda found a pack at her local grocery store, and it looks ah-mazing: riced cauliflower with carrots, celery, onion, cranberries, garlic, and herbs.

Unfortunately, the product hasn't been listed on Green Giant's website, so we're not sure of the nutritional info. But with cauliflower rice in place of breadcrumbs, it's pretty safe to assume this frozen medley has much fewer carbs and calories than traditional stuffing.

And while sweet potatoes (and pumpkin pie) aren't keto, Thanksgiving turkey certainly is. With this riced stuffing, you can totally build a keto-friendly Thanksgiving plate with turkey, roasted, nonstarchy veggies, and cauliflower mash instead of mashed potatoes. Need more keto Thanksgiving inspo? Check out our gallery of 11 keto-friendly Thanksgiving dishes.

We also don't know which retailers currently carry the riced stuffing, but keep an eye out in your local grocery store's freezer section, where you typically find other Green Giant riced veggies. Since it's packaged and frozen, it looks like an easy dish to whip up for all your low-carb Thanksgiving guests.

The Haunting of Hill House: The Identity of the Show's Scariest Character Is Gut-Wrenching

Warning: big, nightmarish spoilers for The Haunting of Hill House below!

I know I put a spoiler warning right above this, but let me just say, once more, that if you're about to give up on finding out who the dreaded Bent-Neck Lady is on Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House, don't. Seriously - don't. The big reveal of who she is solidifies what's so exceptional about this series: it seamlessly blends horror and tragedy in a way that few films in the genre have ever managed to previously accomplish. That being said, if you really, truly need to know (or you watched the show and just want to sort through your emotions with me), let's get to it.

Our first introduction to the Bent-Neck Lady comes in the series' first few episodes, which waste little time in freaking us out after the Crain family moves into the titular haunted home. Initially, the figure seems to be the figment of young Nell Crain's (Violet McGraw) overactive imagination, which her parents, Hugh (Henry Thomas) and Olivia (Carla Gugino), chalk up to the new environment. Nell is plagued with nightmares that cause her to scream loud enough that her parents go frantically running for her room, night after night. Each time, she tearfully explains that a dark spirit who she dubs the "Bent-Neck Lady" was hovering over her as she tried to sleep.

Although Nell's family doesn't believe her - save for her loyal twin, Luke - we, the audience, are very much aware of the Bent-Neck Lady's very real presence. (For the sake of my sanity, let's refer to her as BNL from now on, shall we?) The BNL seems to visit Nell only at night, has long, stringy hair, and wears a flowy black dress. We're never able to see her face, but we know that her neck is bent at a gruesome angle, suggesting she was hanged. Due to her appearance, she easily takes the cake as the character "Most Likely to Make You Overnight a Night Light" in the middle of your Haunting of Hill House binge. I speak from experience.

The series flashes back and forth to the Summer the Crains lived in Hill House and years later when they're all grown up. In adulthood, Nell (played by Victoria Pedretti) is still haunted by visions of the spirit, even though it's been a decade since she stepped foot in her former home. In adulthood, her experiences with the BNL seem more like night terrors - she wakes up covered in sweat, feeling completely paralyzed. It gets to the point where she decides to seek help from sleep experts, which is where she meets Arthur (Jordane Christie).

Nell and Arthur get married, and miraculously, her visions of the BNL cease entirely. For once it seems things are truly going Nell's way. Not long after tying the knot, however, Nell wakes up in the same paralyzed state she used to and sees the BNL hovering in their bedroom. Arthur also awakens when he hears Nell's panicked breathing and gets up to turn on the light and try to soothe her. But when he's halfway across the room - i.e., next to the BNL, who he can't actually see - his neck turns at a horrifying angle and he collapses to the floor, dead. Nell crawls to his lifeless body, sobbing. His official cause of death is ruled as an aneurysm.

The loss of Arthur sends Nell into a total tailspin, and she starts seeing the BNL more frequently (including one particularly terrifying moment in a motel hallway). Finally, her mental health takes a dangerous nosedive that leads her to go back to Hill House. As soon as she enters, she sees the ghosts of her dead mother, Olivia, and her late husband. Nell, not entirely aware of what's going on because of the visions the house is causing her to see, follows her ghost mom up a high staircase. Once there, she's tricked into putting a noose around her neck and Olivia pushes her own daughter off the staircase, where she is hanged to death. Bam - the Bent-Neck Lady is born.

When Nell falls to her death, time gets hazy, and we see her broken form crash through multiple scenes in the past; she drops into her childhood bedroom and scares her younger self, she falls into the bedroom where Arthur died, the motel . . . you get the idea. Nell has been the Bent-Neck Lady all along.

Even though we know it's Nell from that point on, seeing her in the form of the BNL is still absolutely horrifying, especially because Nell is the show's sweetest, most kindhearted character. Watching her manipulated into being Hill House's most unfortunate permanent guest is nothing short of tragic. Thus far, The Haunting of Hill House has been billed as a limited series, but if it does return for season two, hopefully there's justice for Nell.

Princess Eugenie's Husband May Not Be a Royal, but His Job Is Still Pretty Interesting

Princess Eugenie is following in Prince William and Prince Harry's footsteps by marrying a commoner! The royal tied the knot with her longtime love, Jack Brooksbank, on Oct. 12 at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. Even though Jack isn't of royal blood, he does have a pretty interesting job and a surprising celebrity connection.

Jack works in hospitality as a wine merchant. His first job was as a waiter at Chelsea's Admiral Codrington pub and the Markham Inn, which is actually where he first met Harry. Jack then managed Chelsea's Mahiki nightclub before becoming the UK ambassador of George Clooney and Rande Gerber's Casamigos Tequila in 2016. "I am thrilled to be part of the Casamigos family. It is a very exciting time for the brand in the UK as the consumer mindset of the tequila category is shifting," Jack previously told Hello! "I look forward to introducing the Casamigos portfolio to new venues and continuing to build a UK based 'House of Friends' network, helping the brand grow from strength-to-strength." Congrats to Eugenie and Jack on their wedding!

The Fight For Steven Avery's Freedom Is Fierce in the Trailer For Making a Murderer Part 2

It's been almost three years since Netflix took us on a wild, frustrating journey with the docuseries Making a Murderer, and soon we'll be diving back into the life of Steven Avery. Making a Murderer Part 2 focuses on the fight to prove that Avery was wrongly convicted and how his postconviction lawyer, Kathleen Zellner, will try to win his freedom. The trailer shows Avery handling his newfound fame and the knowledge that there are people out there passionately fighting for him. Watch the trailer above, and get ready for the 10-episode series drop on Oct. 19.

Princess Eugenie's Wedding Was a Lot Less Expensive Than Her Cousin Prince Harry's

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are officially married! The couple tied the knot on Oct. 12 at St. George's Chapel in Windsor, in a stunning ceremony packed with gorgeous gowns, adorable bridesmaids and pageboys, and romantic moments. But when the whopping group of 850(!) guests clear out, what's the total bill? We've broken down the estimated costs of the royal wedding, and while it likely came in cheaper than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's nuptials, the price tag will still make your jaw drop.

The New, Magnificent Trailer For Glass Will Absolutely Give You Chills

You might think you're ready for M. Night Shyamalan's Glass, but are you? Really? On Thursday, a new trailer was unleashed unto the world, and it has everything: we've got all sorts of new personalities bursting out of Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy), plus terrifying new glimpses of the Beast (who appears to clash with Bruce Willis's David Dunn). We even get a few glimpses of costars Sarah Paulson, Anya Taylor-Joy, Spencer Treat Clark, and Charlayne Woodard.

Previously, the first few teasers for the third film in the series - which includes 2000's Unbreakable and 2016's Split - were each only 15 seconds long. The film will follow David as he goes after Crumb, while also contending with Samuel L. Jackson's manipulative Elijah Price (code name: Mr. Glass). Watch the full trailer in all its glory above, then refresh your memory of the first trailer and teasers below.

Pet Sematary: The First Trailer Will Leave You Gasping For Breath

After a batch of unnerving photos from the new Pet Sematary remake were released earlier this week, we finally have a trailer to obsess over. Directors Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer introduce us to the Creed family, who moves into a new home that just so happens to be next to a small woodland cemetery for pets. What they don't realize - at least not at first - is that the land allows the creatures buried there to come back from the dead. When tragedy strikes, the family pushes the powers of the cemetery to the extreme.

Jason Clarke and Amy Seimetz star as Louis and Rachel Creed, who are parents to young Ellie (Jeté Laurence) and Gage (twins Hugo Lavoie and Lucas Lavoie). John Lithgow is also on board as their kinda creepy next door neighbor, Jud Crandall, who informs them of the cemetery's powers. Watch the first trailer for the Stephen King adaptation above before it hits theaters on April 5, 2019.

Our Dear Connie Britton Is in Danger in the Dramatic Trailer For Bravo's Dirty John

Bravo's forthcoming adaptation of Dirty John is getting dangerously close. Starring Connie Britton and Eric Bana, the series will closely follow the one-season true-crime podcast, which details how successful interior designer Debra Newell got tricked by charming doctor John Meehan.

To no surprise, John already appears sketchy as hell in the recently released trailer. In it, viewers can see snippets of Debra digging into John's past as their romance progresses. For those who haven't listened to the podcast, let's just say it's not pretty. Watch the ominous trailer above before the series release on Nov. 25.

Wondering If Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Shows Up in Venom? Keep Reading!

Warning: This contains spoilers for Venom!

Venom has been released in theaters, which means we can finally discuss anything and everything that makes up the antihero film. There are a lot of familiar faces among the stellar cast, but Venom fans may be looking for one particular face in hopes of a classic comic-book reunion - Tom Holland's. Ever since it was revealed that Venom was in the works, fans have been hoping for a cameo by the current webhead. After all, Venom is known for being Spidey's nemesis, the two have a fairly interesting relationship in the comics, and the web-slinging hero is known for having cameos in other films. Unfortunately there isn't a single trace of our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man in Venom, not even in passing mention.

To be fair, this makes complete sense when you think about it. The 2015 collaborative agreement between Sony and Marvel allows Spider-Man, and only Spider-Man, to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The MCU is different from the Spider-verse Sony is creating with Venom and other standalone films, like the Jared Leto-led Mobius. So Venom exists outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and without said webhead, which is why his Spidey-specific origins don't apply in the film.

While it's sure to bum fans out, there is an appearance by several other Spider-Mans in Venom's post-credits scene! And if that doesn't quite satisfy your Spidey craving, don't get too discouraged. The hope that there will ever be a crossover between the two universes is still alive. When asked if there would ever be an overlap, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige said, "We never say never . . . but not any time soon."
