The UK has produced so much quality drama, so many incredible documentaries, and so many classic comedies over the years that any "best of" list can only scrape the surface of what British television has to offer. But if you've stumbled across a few British shows on Netflix or Amazon recently, and you're looking for some new things to add to your list, allow me to help. Wow, Baby Miles Is a Carbon Copy of Dad John Legend - See the Precious Look-Alike Photo!
Those are some strong genes you've got there, John Legend! On Thursday, Chrissy Teigen shared a sweet photo of her 5-month-old Miles feeding himself with a spoon on Instagram, and we had to do a double take because we thought it was a childhood photo of John. "Baby bear is eating!" Chrissy captioned the milestone. Of course, we weren't the only ones who made the mistake. "That looks like you face swapped John onto a baby!" Trevor Noah commented. "At least there'll never be a tabloid headline questioning the father," Lauren Jauregui added. I mean, Lauren does have a point.
No, It's Not Witchcraft - That's Actually Dakota Johnson Dancing in Suspiria
We know that Fifty Shades star Dakota Johnson does not take preparing for a new role lightly (just check out the training regimen she underwent for Fifty Shades Freed!), but how exactly did she prepare for a role that requires years of professional training? In her upcoming film Suspiria - a remake of the 1977 supernatural cult classic by the same name - Johnson plays Susie Bannion, an American dancer who transfers to a prestigious dance academy in Germany, only to realize that her new school has a dark history of occultism and is responsible for a series of brutal murders. Assuming there was no witchcraft involved in the creation of this movie, did Johnson actually perform her own dance scenes?
As it turns out, she did! According to Johnson, she performed about 90 percent of the dancing done by her character in the movie. Though not a professional, Johnson has had some dance training (she took tap, jazz, and ballet lessons from ages 5 to 15), so picking up choreography wasn't a totally foreign concept for the actress. For anything Johnson couldn't handle, a professional dancer named Tanya was on set to act as Johnson's body double.
For Johnson, the scariest part of the movie wasn't the supernatural spookiness, but shooting the dance performances. "I trained on and off for about a year before we started filming, but I'm not a professional dancer," she told Entertainment Weekly. "It was terrifying." However, Johnson didn't let the demands of the role intimidate her. While filming Fifty Shades Freed, the starlet worked with a dance trainer before or after the day's shoot to get in practice time. "It was amazing to discover that I could do that with my body, but it was a lot of work, it was a lot of training," she said.
As well as working with a dancer trainer, Johnson prepared for the role with Belgo-French choreographer Damien Jalet, who created all of the pieces for Suspiria. Learning the choreography for the film involved three weeks of eight-hour-a-day intensive training in Italy, as well as additional training in New York while Johnson was on a press tour. From the trailer alone, we have a feeling that all of Johnson's work paid off, which you can now see for yourself since Suspiria hit theaters on Oct. 26.
Holy Forking Shirt Balls: These Good Place Halloween Costumes Are Perfection
The Good Place has blessed the universe with a ton of wonderful things since premiering in 2016: excellent and appropriate catchphrases ("what the fork?!"), a renewed love of cacti, and an unexpectedly deep appreciation for ethics and philosophy. But come October, the NBC comedy also inspires some seriously impressive Halloween costumes.
When one of the show's writers, Megan Amram, asked fans to send her photos of their best The Good Place-themed costumes on Twitter, they delivered tenfold. There were spot-on Tehanis, every variation of Janet possible, and even a dog dressed up as Michael. Sadly we didn't spot any shirtless Chidis, but there were still a ton of incredible looks. Check them all out ahead!
Joe Jonas Wins the Game of Thrones With His Epic Sansa Stark Halloween Costume
You may expect stars to break out their couples costumes this time of year, but it's unexpected when they decide to dress as each other. Joe Jonas took his devotion for Sophie Turner to the next level on Saturday when he attended Kate Hudson's Halloween bash all dressed up as his fiancée's Game of Thrones character, Sansa Stark.
Sophie may have wrapped on the HBO show a few months ago, but her iconic character's memory lives on - at least as long as Joe has an auburn wig and medieval-style dress around. Sophie kept things casual and cute dressed an elephant for the Hollywood party. Think we can expect swoop 2006-style bangs and a Jonas Brothers concert tee for her costume next year? Fingers crossed.
Meghan Markle Just Gave Her First Royal Tour Speech, and It Was Inspiring as Hell
Meghan Markle just hit another milestone: she delivered her first royal tour speech! Following their arrival in Fiji, Meghan and Prince Harry paid a special to the University of the South Pacific on Wednesday. The Duchess of Sussex spoke about the importance of college and how the cost of it affected her when she was younger.
"Everyone should be afforded the opportunity to receive the education they want, but more importantly the education they have the right to receive. And for women and girls in developing countries, this is vital," Meghan told the students. "When girls are given the right tools to succeed, they can create incredible futures, not only for themselves, but also for those around them."
Meghan then announced two new grants that support female staff members at the university. "My husband Harry and I wish you all the very best of luck as you continue your studies and your work," Meghan said. "Your efforts now will help to make a positive future for each of you and your communities at large."
Meghan is the second British royal bride to have ever attended college (Kate Middleton is the first). After graduating from a private Catholic school in LA, Meghan attended Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, where she earned a bachelor's degree and double majored in theater and international studies in 2003.
41 Celebrity Costumes You Can Actually Copy
Elaborate Halloween costumes à la Heidi Klum can be fun, but they require a whole lot of effort to actually pull off. Sometimes (like when it's Oct. 30 and you have nothing planned!) going with a look that can be put together with items already hanging in your closet or parts that are easy to find at a thrift shop makes more sense. Celebrities themselves have often taken the easier approach, and we've rounded up their simple dress-up ideas to serve as your inspiration!

Alas, we (and Britney) have grown up a lot since she first broke out onto the scene, and it seems only right that we celebrate this momentous occasion with a look back at the music video that launched a million pairs of pigtails. Keep reading for the best GIFs from the ". . . Baby One More Time" video, complete with five little-known facts about its making.

Does Michael Myers Survive the New Halloween Movie? Well, It's Complicated
Warning: Big ol' spoilers for Halloween below!
Lock your doors and hide your butcher knives, because Michael Myers is back.
The infamous serial killer makes a bone-chilling return in David Gordon Green's stylish, nightmarish Halloween, which is far smarter than most of the 1978 original's endless line-up of sequels while still paying homage to John Carpenter's film in a number of ways. From the reappearance of "final girl" Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) to a recreation of a certain scene in a high school classroom, there are unmissable nods to the original film, including its treatment of Michael's fate. In other words, like many Halloween installments before it, the status of the serial killer is left uncertain.
First thing's first: this version of the story ignores everything that happened in the sequels to Carpenter's 1978 film. It picks up with Laurie 40 years after Michael brutally murdered her friends on Halloween night, and makes it clear that the incident irrevocably changed the fiber of her being. She went on to devote her life to preparing herself to face Michael again one day, turning her remote cabin in the woods into a booby-trapped compound and training her young daughter, Karen, as a mini-survivalist. Of course, Laurie's parenting methods lead to Karen being taken away by social services, resulting in Laurie becoming even more withdrawn and focused on killing Michael.
As she tells Officer Hawkins (Will Patton) in the new movie, she even "prayed" for Michael's escape from the psychiatric hospital where he was being held so that she could have the chance to take him down herself. No offense to Laurie, but we have to agree with Hawkins's response: "That was a dumb thing to pray for." Fortunately Michael's subsequent escape makes for a riveting showdown between the pair.
After killing just about everyone in his hometown of Haddonfield, Michael finds Laurie's cabin and the two begin to stalk each other. Meanwhile Karen (played as an adult by Judy Greer) and her own daughter, Allyson (Andi Matichak), take refuge in the home's secret basement, which is only accessible through a secret door under the kitchen island. Michael appears to get the drop on Laurie, literally, when he throws her out of a second floor window to her "death." He marches down to the kitchen and rips the island out of the floor to get to Karen and Allyson, but luckily Karen takes advantage of her mother's stockpile of guns and shoots Michael, who tumbles into the basement with them.
That's when Laurie miraculously reappears up in the kitchen and helps pull her daughter and granddaughter to safety, just as Michael is standing back up and crawling up the stairs towards them. Karen pushes a button at the last minute and metal spikes pop out to completely cover the opening to the basement, making it clear that Laurie always intended for Michael to get into it - the basement was a trap all along. Laurie then presses another button that releases gas into the basement and lights everything on fire, incinerating her nemesis, along with her home.
However - however - as any horror fan knows, it's not truly over until we see a body. The camera shows Michael standing amid the flames in the basement, and then follows Laurie, Karen, and Allyson as they escape. But when it pans back to the basement, the only thing visible is the raging fire - no charred corpse in sight. The film ends with the three generations of women being driven to safety by a passerby, lingering on Allyson's hand clutching Michael's bloody knife.
So, is Michael dead? It seems highly unlikely that he could've escaped Laurie's extremely secure basement, but we've been burned by this franchise before (pun most definitely intended). Despite the film's lack of a postcredits scene, this murky ending is unquestionably a way for Halloween to leave things open for yet another sequel.
69 Times Celebrities Dressed as Other Celebrities For Halloween
Halloween provides a chance for celebrities to put on their costumes, and once in a while, those getups are actually the guises of other well-known stars. In 2014, so many celebs dressed up as Amal and George Clooney. And, of course, Miley Cyrus's infamous MTV Video Music Awards performance was a definite hit in 2013. And while there have been a bunch of pop star impersonators, there are plenty more including artists, cultural icons, and even reality stars.
When Does Wonder Woman 2 Come Out? Here's When You Can Expect Diana to Soar Into Theaters
If you're one of the many superhero fans champing at the bit for the highly anticipated sequel to Warner Bros.'s Wonder Woman, then we have some good news and some bad news. The good news? The as-yet-untitled Wonder Woman 2 has an official release date! The bad news? It's extremely far away.
Back in July, the studio revealed that the sequel, which will take place during the Cold War in the '80s, wouldn't hit theaters until Dec. 13, 2019. Then Warner Bros. decided to move the date up by a month, opting for Nov. 1, 2019, instead. And then, in October 2018, ET reported that the DC Comics followup has been pushed way, way back to June 5, 2020. Talk about an emotional rollercoaster.
"We had tremendous success releasing the first Wonder Woman film during the Summer, so when we saw an opportunity to take advantage of the changing competitive landscape, we did," Jeff Goldstein, Warner Bros. President of Domestic Distribution, said in a statement. "This move lands the film exactly where it belongs."
Before Warner Bros. can begin working on the sequel for Diana, the studio has to release part two of Justice League (out on June 14, 2019), as well as finish The Flash and Aquaman (the latter due out on Dec. 21, 2018). At least we have the thought of Diana reuniting with Steve Trevor to keep us going!
Could Izzie Ever Return to Grey's Anatomy? Here's Why We're Not Ruling It Out
Avid fans of Grey's Anatomy know that some of the biggest character exits were the culmination of some serious behind-the-scenes drama. And one of the most notorious exits in the history of the show was that of Izzie Stevens, aka Katherine Heigl. Heigl infamously did not leave on good terms, and it seems like the waters between her and creator Shonda Rhimes are still choppy. But, hey, it's never too late to forgive, right? And one recent interview with Camilla Luddington has us wondering if that's exactly what could happen.
In a recent interview with People, Luddington was asked what she thought of a Heigl return. "I actually think it's kind of a fun idea. . . . I just think it'd be juicy; it'd bring maybe a little bit of drama." Considering the fact that Jo and Alex only just tied the knot in the season 14 finale, this would be just the way to throw a wrench in their marriage, and in the most Grey's Anatomy way possible. And, frankly, it's not completely out of the question.
Why do we think an Izzie return could happen at one point? Well, for one, we've seen characters return after leaving on bad terms before. Isaiah Washington, for instance, was let go from the show after some behind-the-scenes heat but returned many seasons later. It just goes to show that a bad exit does not a permanently burned bridge make. What's more, Luddington revealed in a recent interview with POPSUGAR that the actors themselves sometimes get to pitch their own storylines. And if she's open to Izzie's return, enough so that she decides to pitch it to the writers, it really could happen!
I know, I know - there's a lot of "supposing" happening here. And, to be fair, Luddington also noted that Alex and Jo have sort of gotten some closure on the whole Izzie thing together. "I do think it kind of got put to bed last season," she said, "because he kind of did say he was happy for her, wherever she is and whatever she's doing. So I joke about not wanting it to happen, but it would be kind of juicy, wouldn't it?" Never say never, folks. It's easy to assume Izzie is gone for good, but wouldn't that be the perfect moment to bring her back?

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: The Mystery Behind Why Ambrose Can't Leave the House
There are a number of questions that pop up throughout the first season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Like, for instance, just how big is Sabrina's collection of headbands? And where might one find a cigarette fork like Aunt Zelda's? Also, how come Father Blackwood's nails are longer and healthier than mine will ever be? While those questions will likely go unanswered - I'll just have to assume Father Blackwood eats a lot of arugula - there is another mystery that was eating at me throughout the entirety of season one of the spooky new Netflix series: why can't Ambrose leave the Spellmans' home?
It's made clear earlier on that Ambrose is on permanent house arrest in the funeral home, as well as its front- and backyard. It's not until the back half of the season, when Ambrose's frustration at being stuck inside all the time because of his new relationship with a cute warlock, that the answer to why he got locked up in the first place really starts to reveal itself.
Warning: light spoilers for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina below!
While sitting down with Father Blackwood to discuss his sentence, Ambrose opens up about the path that led him there. Apparently his father was killed by witch hunters when he was a kid, so he drifted from university to university, doing incredible things like "magic with Houdini" and "painting with expressionists" in search of a father figure. Eventually he met someone who fit that role, who Ambrose says thought of himself as "a young Crowley" (likely a reference to British occultist Aleister Crowley). This unknown mentor coerced Ambrose into helping him pull off a plot to blow up the Vatican.
The plan failed, but only Ambrose was caught by the witch's council at the time. When they pressed Ambrose to give up his conspirators, he refused; that's when they sentenced him to house arrest, which he's been living out for decades ever since.
Father Blackwood listens to Ambrose's story and offers him a deal: if he gives up the names of the people involved in the plot now, he'll lift his sentence. Despite being utterly miserable with his existence, Ambrose still refuses; he just can't bring himself to sully his integrity. Fortunately, that's exactly what Blackwood was hoping to hear. The High Priest commends Ambrose for sticking to his guns and offers him a position at the Academy of the Unseen Arts. What's more is that he promises to speak to the witch's council, in hopes of getting Ambrose's sentence cleared for good.
By the end of the season, Ambrose's punishment hasn't been totally erased, but he's able to seemingly walk through much of Greendale freely. He's seen traipsing through the woods with his boyfriend, helping Sabrina at her mortal high school, and more. We'll have to wait to find out if his sentence will be lifted entirely in season two and the identity of his mysterious mentor. Luckily we have plenty of other witch-themed stories to keep us busy!
Dwayne Johnson Explains Why He Cherishes Time With Jasmine, Even When He's "Tired as Hell"
Dwayne Johnson knows his little girls will grow up too fast. His oldest, Simone, is nearly an adult, and as he parents his younger two daughters with partner Lauren Hashian, it's clear he's treasuring this time together. Dwayne will sing songs to his daughters, let 2-year-old Jasmine paints his nails, and despite days when he's "tired as hell," he still cherishes each moment.
The 46-year-old actor walked Instagram followers through one such day, when he worked late and only got three hours of sleep. In his post, Dwayne explained how Jasmine (or the "tornado," as he affectionately called her) busted through his door to play in his closet. He put his exhaustion aside to hold his young daughter, and wrote in the caption, "There's gonna come a time, years from now when jumping in my arms is the last thing she wants to do and ain't gonna be cool anymore - so I'll always take these moments while I can." Aw!

John Legend Dressed as the Prince Charming to Luna's Princess, and They Couldn't Be Cuter
John Legend may be ringing in the holiday season with a Christmas album and NBC special, but even he knows you can't just skip straight past Halloween. Like many parents, the 39-year-old singer (and recent EGOT winner!) celebrated the spooky festivities a few days early, and got all dressed up in his dashing best to match his daughter Luna.
Luna looked like an adorable dream come true in her princess outfit, and John acted perfectly as her Prince Charming. Mom Chrissy Teigen also stuck with the magical theme and gave off sparkling unicorn vibes. Doesn't look like Miles rocked a costume for this occasion, although he could pass as a John Legend impersonator any day of the week. This cute crew is giving us serious inspiration for our own family Halloween costumes - is it too late to switch?

9 Halloween Games That Will Make Any Sleepover a Spooky Delight
If you love to throw parties for your kids, Halloween is the perfect time to pull out all of the stops. Unlike other holidays, Halloween is all about the theme, the costumes, and the candy. Many times, these parties can turn into sleepovers (sometimes you plan it that way, and sometimes your kid begs you to let their friends stay over). And when that happens, it's so fun to have a few creepy games on hand to enhance the Halloween mood (just make sure all of the kids are old enough and can handle it!). Whether it's a slightly spooky one that uses a Ouija board to connect to the spirit world or a chanting ritual in the mirror (I'm pretty sure I still can't order more than two Bloody Marys at brunch), there's a handful of games that will keep everyone talking well after Oct. 31. Keep reading to see them all now . . . if you dare.
This Dad Challenged Toxic Masculinity in a Big Way After His 5-Year-Old Son Got Teased at School
Aaron Gouveia, a father of three boys from Massachusetts, recently spoke out about toxic masculinity on Twitter after his 5-year-old son, Sam, got teased for wearing nail polish to school. He started off his now-viral Twitter thread by sharing a photo of Sam with the caption: "This is my son, Sam," he wrote. "He's 5. And today he learned how sh*tty and harmful #ToxicMasculinity is. My rage meter is spiking right now so excuse me if this is a little raw but there are some things I want to say about BS #gender norms."
From there, the irate dad launched into a clear-cut example proving that toxic masculinity not only exists but also starts at a young age. He went on to explain why as parents we need to work together to stop it dead in its tracks. Scroll through to get a look at the full thread.
Michael Phelps Is Putting His Olympic Career Behind Him to Focus on a Much More Pressing Issue
If there was any question about Michael Phelps competing in the Tokyo 2020 Summer Games, that question was put to rest on Thursday when the most decorated athlete in Olympic history told a crowd of mental health experts: "I don't see myself ever competing again in the water. I don't want to, because I love what I'm doing now."
The project he's referring to is destigmatizing mental health treatment, especially for teens. Although Phelps was seemingly at the top of the world in October 2014 with 18 gold medals to his name, he was actually spiraling into a deep mental health crisis, culminating in a DUI arrest that led to a stint in rehab and contemplation of suicide. He spent the first days of rehab seated with his back to everyone in the room, staring at a brick wall, but eventually realized that it was OK to ask for help.
"I think for so long, I had a fear of rejection because of what I went through with my father," Phelps told POPSUGAR. "I was let down a lot with things he did with me as a kid, and I didn't want to feel that anymore. So I was afraid to ask for help. And then I got to where my life was at the lowest point ever, and that's where I had to either ask for help or I wasn't going to be here."
It's that moment that led Phelps to where he is today, serving as the spokesman for Talkspace, the online therapy platform that he actually uses to work his way through his continued mental health struggles. At the conference, Phelps helped the company announce that it will now be providing its services to teens between the ages of 13 and 17 (previously the platform was only available for adults ages 18 and older). He's also working to incorporate a mental health component to his foundation, the IM Program, which has a mission to grow the sport of swimming and promote healthier lifestyles.
"I was afraid to ask for help. And then I got to where my life was at the lowest point ever, and that's where I had to either ask for help or I wasn't going to be here."
Now the father of two, Boomer, 2, and Beckett, 8 months, Phelps is already working on opening up the conversation of feelings with his young sons. When Boomer has a temper tantrum, as most toddlers do, Phelps and his wife, Nicole, coach him through it. "If he doesn't get his way and basically drops to the floor for no reason and comes running over to me, or to mom, and we get down to him, and we're like: 'If you want something, you're going to have to take a deep breath, and you're going to have to relax. You have to calm yourself down, and then we can have a discussion.'" Then they tell him to take lion's breaths, imagining he's a little lion taking big, deep breaths to calm himself down. It's a tactic Phelps uses for himself, too, noting that on the way to NYC for the conference, Nicole texted him to remind him to take lion's breaths when he grew frustrated with his seat mate.
"We're trying to get him to communicate as much as he can the message that he wants to get across or why he's frustrated," Phelps explained. "I wish I would have had that as a kid, to have a list of eight basic emotions on the wall where somebody can walk in and say, what are you feeling, and I could point and say, that's what I'm feeling, and this is why. Then I could have a better understanding of what I'm feeling, and potentially work toward not overreacting. I'm excited for him to get to the point where I can explain things that I went through and that I struggled with."
In terms of the focus on teens, it's a topic that Phelps is extremely familiar with and nervous about given the state of the world today. "For me, growing up as a kid with ADHD, I was always getting made fun of for wearing a little small suit and shaving my legs, or my big ears, or this or that. I was picked on all the time growing up," Phelps says. "I think the biggest thing now with the world that we live in [is] social media; it's so hard."
According to the National Institute of Mental Health, one in five children has or will develop a serious mental illness as a teen.
The issue of adolescence mental health is a topical one. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, one in five children has or will develop a serious mental illness as a teen. It's something that Phelps knows all too well. "The biggest thing that I went through as a kid was the stuff I went through with my dad," he explained. "Having five years, 20 years, where I can probably count on one hand that I talked to him or I saw him. For me that was hard to carry. As a dad now, I want to be able to give my sons everything possible and teach them everything I can possibly teach them. For me, I don't know what the appropriate age is, but if you need help, I don't think it matters what age you are."
But with the right tools, kids can start to tackle the issues. Phelps shared the story of a little boy named William that they work with in Knoxville. After the boy's father was murdered, he was struggling in school and joined the IM Program. Though he didn't learn to swim his first or second years in the program, the third year, he did. "Through all of that, he was able to learn and grow," Phelps shared. "Now he's helpful around the house. He's so much better in school. He's going to college. There's so many things he's been able to learn and grow from. It's cool to really see a kid make a quick 180 and understand everything. That's something I'm going to continue."
For Phelps, a lot of it has to do with removing the stigma associated with seeking help and helping teens realize that "some things that you don't want to do are good for you." That's how he felt about therapy. But after a while, he was "eager to see what emotions [he] had and where they were coming from." He believes he never really thought about these emotions because he was so busy, quite literally "immersed in water." And it took a while for him to be able to say, "I am who I am and sorry if you don't like it. I don't care! It's not my problem."
It's this comfort in his new being that is motivating the next phase of his public persona. "I want to give myself the best chance that I can to grow and to learn and to teach others," Phelps shares. "For me, I had a great career. I had a fun career. I don't know when I'll understand it, if I'll ever understand it, but just to be able to understand what I went through and to now kind of watch where things are going, this is something we have to get on top of, and we have to change."

And the extended family loves it even more, it seems.

Love Creepy but Pretty Costumes? This Look Was Mer-Made For You
If you don't want to spend upwards of $100 on a costume for the shop, we don't blame you. Halloween doesn't mean throwing every hard-earned penny down the drain. Instead, survey your own makeup stash and you'll surely find everything you need to create a costume in a snap. In this case, you'll need some ocean-toned eye shadows and your fishnets for a mermaid look with a twist.
Based off Ryn from Freeform's Siren, this tutorial will have you asking, "Ariel who?" It's equal parts creepy, glam, and cool. Start with your normal foundation routine, apply cool-toned eye shadow on your lid to the brow bone, and then add highlighter to the high points of your face. We recommend using one with a green cast to it, like Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers MegaGlo Highlighter in Moonlit Gleam ($5). Next, it's time to create the fish scales, which you can do one of two ways: Wet N Wild also makes stencils that are easy to apply or you can opt for fishnets. Yes. Fishnets on your head. We don't make the rules here. It looks bizarre, but it works like a charm - trust.
Take a densely packed shadow or blending brush and start pushing a gray- or slate-colored pigment into the fishnets. You'll blend shades like blue and green as well so that they fade into each other. Make sure you're picking up a lot of pigment or shadow on the brush and pressing into the skin; fluffy brushes tend to diffuse the product and won't make the scales look as defined.
From there, add your favorite sea-inspired lipstick, put on some lashes, and get ready for the final step: fake blood. You'll want to spritz it around your mouth like you've been feeding - that's what makes it creepy. Then you're ready to attack, er, casually sit on a rock and sing about wanting to be where the people are. Yeah, that.
Be sure to subscribe to our friends at Freeform, and gear up for Siren season two come January.

Say Goodbye to Your Favorite Poop D*ck-tectives - American Vandal Canceled by Netflix
The true crime mockumentary that captured our hearts has been canceled. Netflix announced on Friday, Oct. 26, that it would not be renewing the spoof series American Vandal for a third season.
"We're very grateful to the creators, writers, cast and crew for bringing their innovative comedy to Netflix, and to the fans and critics who embraced its unique and unconventional humor," Netflix said in an official statement.
The series debuted on the streaming site in September 2017 and went on to earn an Emmy nomination and a Peabody Award. The first season featured an investigation into the student wrongfully accused of vandalizing 27 cars with d*ck drawings at Hanover High School. The second season premiered in September 2018 and explored a case surrounding a private Catholic high school plagued by poop-related pranks by the proclaimed "Turd Burglar." American Vandal's cancellation comes as Netflix has reportedly began cutting down on its scripted originals from outside studios, also recently canceling two of its Marvel series from ABC Studios, Iron Fist and Luke Cage.
Luckily, the show is already eyeing a possible life elsewhere, with CBS TV Studios reportedly receiving interest from other buyers for season three. Still, fans are definitely in their feelings over Netflix's decision to cancel the well-loved series. Read on to see some of the most passionate reactions from American Vandal fans.

5 Ways Rick Grimes Could Leave The Walking Dead, and the 1 Way We Hope He Does
The day we all dreaded is imminently upon us: Rick Grimes's final episodes on The Walking Dead are here, and soon we'll have to bid the southern sheriff goodbye. Ever since Andrew Lincoln announced his intention to leave the AMC zombie series, fans have been beside themselves with the news. How can the show go on without both Rick and Carl, two of the main characters of the graphic novels? And who else has plans to leave!? While I can't answer all of those questions, I can provide some theories of my own as to how the show might wrap up Rick's storyline.
On a show like TWD there are so many ways for characters to exit. We've had numerous deaths by walkers, the "we knew it was going to happen but can't believe you really did it" deaths, and the "WTF, why did they die" deaths. As a major player in the series, there's a lot riding on Rick's ending, so the show is definitely going to want this to be big. It might not be flashy, but it'll definitely be emotional.
Season-wise, Rick is right in the middle of trying to make Carl's dream of a peaceful utopia come true, so he's at a pretty important juncture. Taking that all into account, keep reading for some theories on exactly how we'll have to say goodbye to everyone's favorite apocalyptic hero.
Grab Some Tissues - Michael Bublé's Emotional Carpool Karaoke Will Set Off the Waterworks
Michael Bublé is here to remind us all of what's really important. The 43-year-old singer, who was recently the subject of retirement rumors that thankfully aren't true, joined The Late Late Show host James Corden for a round of Carpool Karaoke, benefiting Stand Up To Cancer. You'll feel every emotion on the spectrum just watching them. Not only do the funny duo belt their way through a few of Bublé's greatest hits ("Haven't Met You Yet," is a personal fave), they have a brutally honest conversation about the singer's experience with his son Noah.
Bublé's oldest child, now five years old, was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2016. While Noah's in remission now, Bublé admits to Corden that as a father he's still "not OK." Watch their heartwrenching discussion above, along with lighter moments, like when they're joined by Corden's dad for a quick saxophone interlude. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll want to hug your loved ones tighter.
Meet the Bewitching Cast of Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has finally arrived! The series was picked up for a two-season order earlier this year, followed by a first look in the form of a haunting trailer. While Kiernan Shipka stars as the iconic teenage witch, there are also a few other exciting players in the mix, including Ross Lynch, who plays Sabrina's dreamboat boyfriend Harvey. Check out the official cast ahead.
What Does Miss Wardwell Want on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina? Her Motives Are Pretty Twisted
Warning: big ol' spoilers for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina below!
I have to hand it to Miss Wardwell - she makes being pure evil look damn good. I have no doubt that stock in red lipstick and floral dresses will soar after the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina premiere, all thanks to her.
But I digress!
What we're really here to talk about is how f*cking evil Miss Wardwell is, right? The character, played by Michelle Gomez, starts off the season as a mousy teacher at Sabrina's mortal high school who makes the mistake of picking up a stranded "woman" on the side of the road. After inviting her inside her home, the stranger makes quick work of Miss Wardwell, taking over her body and morphing into a chic but twisted villainess dead set on turning Sabrina into Satan's personal plaything.
If you caught yourself wavering on whether or not Miss Wardwell is really a villain at certain points throughout the series, you're not the only one - she's pricking the voodoo doll she made of Sabrina one minute and then saving her from the nightmarish wrath of the Batibat the next. But make no mistake: even when Miss Wardwell is saving Sabrina and the rest of the Spellmans from certain doom, it's all with the goal of steering the young witch permanently down the Path of Night.
During a conversation with Sabrina, Miss Wardwell paints a picture of how she arrived in Greendale. She claims she was once engaged to a mortal in New Hampshire, which got her excommunicated by her own coven, so she joined Sabrina's father's coven instead. She says she became Edward's acolyte and explains he tasked her with watching over Sabrina before his death in the plane crash. None of this is true, however, since it later becomes clear that Miss Wardwell will do anything to get closer to Sabrina.
We see her treachery come out when she kills Susie's uncle with a voodoo doll and persuades Sabrina to perform an exorcism on a mortal and later to attempt to bring Harvey's dead brother back to life. All of this is done to apparently push Sabrina further away from her human side, in hopes of fulfilling "the Dark Lord's prophecy." By the end of season one, Miss Wardwell succeeds in her goal of driving a wedge between Sabrina and Harvey and convinces her to sign over her free will to Satan in order to be imbued with enough power to save Greendale from an evil, vengeful coven of undead witches (it's . . . a long story). Sabrina suddenly gets platinum blond hair and a darker edge to her personality, but we'll have to wait to see how the change truly effects her in season two.
As for Miss Wardwell, she finally reveals who she actually is in the final few minutes of the season finale. While chatting with Principal George Hawthorne, who she has gagged and tied up in her home, she tells him she's "the mother of demons, the dawn of doom, Satan's concubine." She goes on:
"I'm Lilith, first wife to Adam, saved from despair by a fallen angel. I call myself Madame Satan in his honor. But soon, very soon, I'll have a new title. You see, once I finish grooming Sabrina to take my place . . . I'll earn a crown and a throne by his side. Who am I? I'm the future queen of Hell."
Then, she proceeds to rip off her human face and eat the principal (as one does). When her familiar, a crow, warns her that the Dark Lord might be using her to groom Sabrina into being his bride, instead of Miss Wardwell, she crushes the animal in her hands. We can only hope that foreshadowing will be explored in the upcoming second season.
