Ariana Grande Covered Up Her Pete Davidson Tattoo With a Special Tribute to Mac Miller
Ariana Grande has a lot of memorable tattoos, but one of them just got a makeover. During a behind-the-scenes video for her "Thank U, Next" music video, the singer revealed that she covered up her 8418 tattoo on her foot, which was in honor of ex-fiancé Pete Davidson's father, Scott Davidson. The tattoo was the firefighter badge number, 8418, which Davidson also has tattooed on his forearm.
The singer's tattoo now pays tribute to ex-boyfriend Mac Miller's dog. In the video (around the 2:33 mark), Grande tells the camera to take a closer look at her "Myron" tattoo. The late rapper adopted the dog in January 2017, when the two were still a couple, but it continued to live with Grande after they split in May.
This isn't the only tattoo Grande has altered lately. Following her split from Davidson in October, she also covered up the "Pete" tattoo on her ring finger with a black heart and covered up another that said "Reborn" on her thumb. Davidson has also covered up his fair share of tattoos since their split.
Get a closer look at her new and old ink ahead.

Patrick Starrr's Final Collection With MAC Cosmetics Is Just What You Need For the Holidays
Patrick Starrr is releasing his final collection with MAC Cosmetics, and he's here to take you on the ultimate slay ride. The 16-piece collection will include three matte lip shades (neutral beige, pink, and red), five glittery lip glosses (in gold, brown, peach gold, red, and purple red), two eye shadow palettes (with six shades inside), three loose pigment pots (in peach gold, bronze, and coral), one highlighter (a reflective gold with flecks of sparkle), and his previously released Patrick Powder (a translucent mattifying powder). The names of each shade (like Hot Coco Bish and Shady Santa) were thought up by Starrr himself.
The collection will be Starrr's fifth release with MAC Cosmetics. "It celebrates style, fashion, and beauty in one, and allows you to play with texture," he told POPSUGAR. "You might want your signature red lip and bronze shadow for the holidays - I get that - so if you don't want to play with color, you can play with texture. Throw on some Dazzleglass and pigment to spruce up those looks."
With this collection, he said, "fashion and function were most important. Being a man in makeup, function is so important because the skin texture of men can be more porous and textured. I wanted a powder that was so micronized, had the right color, and gave a beautiful finish all at the same time. Also, having come from being a YouTuber and filming in HD, I wanted something that wasn't too heavy and would make makeup look cakey."
Keep reading for a preview of the entire collection before it's available on counters and MAC's website on Dec. 3.
How to Keep Your Skin Hydrated While Traveling, According to a Flight Attendant
Where you stand on airplane food is one thing, but there's a universal truth about traveling that pretty much everyone can agree on: it dries the sh*t out of your skin.
That's because the air at high altitudes has very little moisture, which means it looks for water wherever it can. "Plane cabins are pressurized to simulate a 6,000 to 8,000-foot elevation above Earth, and your blood absorbs less oxygen at those altitudes," explained dermatologist Dendy Engelman, MD. "This can cause dizziness, sleepiness, and lack of mental sharpness. . . as well as dehydrated skin."
Nobody understands the latter better than Chantal Lawrence, a flight attendant for United who bounces from working two international trips to Paris or Brussels one week to six on-call domestic flights the next. "I have dry skin already, but since I've started flying, it has changed," she said. "Due to the dryness in the cabin, if I don't drink enough water, my pores look bigger and my skin gets very dull. The membranes in my nose also tend to dry out, so I keep a warm, moist cloth nearby, which helps when I'm feeling congested."
As for what else, exactly, Lawrence does to stay hydrated before, during, and after a flight? Fasten your seatbelt - we're sharing her secrets.
The Groundbreaking Beauty Campaigns That Completely Shook the Industry in 2018
It's 2018 - a time when a foundation range of 10 to 20 shades just won't cut it anymore and people are demanding real, Photoshop-free images in beauty campaigns. Last year's push for inclusivity created a ripple effect within the industry, challenging brands to up their game when it comes to representation.
This movement has inspired companies to recognize the many facets that make up our concept of beauty - not only the wide-ranging shades and complexities of skin tones, but also age, body image, and gender identity. Ahead, we've rounded up our favorite campaigns of 2018 that have redefined beauty.

Her tree was flanked by a sinister Siamese cat lamp with glowing eyes and one of her shiny spiders, which clung to the adjacent wall. "I tried something new by making a bunch of nonedible ornaments this year," Christine wrote while sharing a few gorgeous photos of her masterpieces on Facebook. "It was so much fun, I might make some more to give as presents!" What a sweet idea!

This Photo of George H.W. Bush's Service Dog Lying in Front of His Casket Will Break You
After the news of former President George H.W. Bush's passing at age 94 on Nov. 30, a photo of his service dog, a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever named Sully, is going viral. The pooch, who joined the Bush family this past June, "was specifically matched with the president to provide support during his daily activities" by America's VetDogs. Since then, the pair have been the best of friends, and Sully's Instagram account has slowly filled with snaps of him at his owner's feet. Now a new photo of Sully, lying not at former President Bush's feet but in front of his American-flag-covered casket, is breaking hearts all over the internet.
"Mission complete," reads the emotional photo's caption on both Sully's Instagram page as well as on Bush's spokesman Jim McGrath's Twitter account, which is where it first appeared on the night of Dec. 2. The photo will likely be one of the last of Sully supporting the Bush family, as his new mission will be to return to America's VetDogs for the holiday season. After that, he'll join the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center's Facility Dog Program to help wounded veterans with both physical and occupational therapies.
Keep reading to see a few adorable photos of Sully with his best friend, the 41st president of the United States.

This Aladdin-Themed Anniversary Shoot Is From a Whole New World
If you are a fan of classic Disney movies, then you know that they all end with that magical "happily ever after." But what happens after that fairy-tale ending? An Aladdin-themed anniversary shoot, of course!
Ruby and Eric tied the knot with a gorgeous Disney-themed wedding that was so fabulous that it made it on to Disney's wedding TV show. The pair decided to keep the Disney flame alive and enlisted photographer Jenna Henderson to help them capture their love with this Aladdin-themed shoot.
"They had reached out to me about taking Aladdin-themed photos, and from there we came up with creative ways to give their portrait session a magical touch," said Jenna. "We actually hauled a 'magic carpet' up hiking trails and rocks to make our session come to life, but we didn't mind for a moment because we had a vision in mind." And the photos are absolutely worth the effort because they are full of fantastic details - like Ruby's blue-and-gold necklace that alludes to Princess Jasmine's headband or the photo in which Eric is offering Ruby an apple, which is a direct reference to the iconic scene from the movie.
Check out the amazing photos from this shoot and then spot many more hidden gems!

This Is the Workout You Should Do to Burn Fat and Build Muscle (Hint: It's Not Weightlifting)
Want to tighten your butt, get more definition in your legs, sculpt your core, and improve your strength and stamina? Sprinting will help you achieve all the above. To learn the basics of sprinting and why it's great for building lean muscle, POPSUGAR spoke to Ato Boldon, four-time Olympian and NBC Sports lead track analyst, and Curtis Taylor, University of Oregon sprints and hurdles associate head coach.
"You will get leaner and your muscles will get bigger," Boldon told POPSUGAR. "It speeds up hypertrophy (muscle growth), so you'll start seeing changes in your muscles if you stick with it," he continued. "Sprinting does have a huge effect on your metabolism, so you're going to burn calories at a huge rate and you're going to burn lots of fat," he said.
"Sprinting does build muscle, particularly in the glute and hamstring area, because these are the prime movers in sprinting," Taylor explained. In addition to your building more muscle in your glutes and hamstrings, he said you'll see muscle development in your quadriceps and calves and that "you may also see some shoulder, biceps, triceps, and pec (chest muscles) toning as well."
Yes, You CAN Eat Pizza on the Keto Diet - Here's the Doughy Secret
When you set out to do the high-fat, low-carb keto diet, you may be worried about all the delicious things you can't eat anymore, but fear not. There are so many options available to keto dieters, and one of them is fathead dough, which you can use to make keto-friendly pizza, bagels, and more. Unlike traditional doughs made with wheat and grains, this one is made with almond meal, cheese, and eggs.
Fathead dough can help you curb your cravings for the foods you miss most, which in turn could help you be more successful on the keto diet. By allowing yourself to find alternatives for your keto-forbidden favorites, you may not be as irritated with having to stick to a restrictive diet (at least this has always been my experience with dieting!).
However, just because you can have a keto-friendly pizza in your life, that doesn't mean you should be eating it all the time. Vanessa Fry, a registered dietitian at Detroit Medical Center's Harper Bariatric Medical Institute, told POPSUGAR that like with any food, fathead dough should be eaten in moderation as part of a balanced diet.
And while this allows you to feel like you're cheating your diet (even though you're not!), it's important to still be conscious of everything you're putting in your body. Fry explained that you should pay attention to saturated fats when on keto so you're not harming your cardiovascular health. "Foods high in saturated fat can increase LDL cholesterol (the bad cholesterol that clogs arteries) and increase the risk of heart disease. Lean protein sources such as turkey, chicken, and plain nuts should be consumed on a regular basis as they are low in saturated fats," she said.
So there you have it, keto dieters. You can still, indeed, indulge in some pizza from time to time as long as it's made the low-carb way. A quick search of the internet provides a whole host of recipes featuring this keto-friendly dough, so your options are practically endless. Just make sure you're sticking closely with what you can and cannot eat and reaching for whole, clean foods as often as you can.

"We Have to See Flaws": Everyone Should Read Jameela Jamil's Case Against Airbrushing
Jameela Jamil is on a mission to disrupt diet culture. The multi-hyphenate - radio presenter, television host, model, and current actress on The Good Place - recently criticized those detox drinks typically promoted by influencers and celebrities on Instagram. She's also credited with launching the I Weigh social media movement, which encourages women to quantify their worth beyond the physical. Jamil is now continuing to spread her message in a thought-provoking interview for Nylon's December 2018 issue.
First, a bit of backstory: Jamil has advocated for body positivity for some time, and has been open about suffering from an eating disorder as a teenager. After becoming a household name in the UK, Jamil gained weight as a result of an asthma medication she was taking. The body-shaming she subsequently faced in tabloids brought on a jarring realization: "I'd achieved so much in my three or four years in the industry, and I'd worked so hard," she said, "And then I realized, all I am to them is just fat on bones."
"We have to rebel against this, we have to see flaws."
Now, she encourages her fans to defy societal pressures and takes a strong - admittedly "severe" - stance against airbrushing. "Stop Photoshopping your images. I really think it's so gross. I think it's a disgusting crime to Photoshop your images and put them out there in the world without announcing that's what you've done. It's a lie, you're lying to your fans, and your followers, and people who look up to you," Jamil said. Adding, "I know I'm really severe about that. But I didn't eat as a teenager for three years because of people elongating their legs and thinning out their images . . . We have to rebel against this, we have to see flaws."
Jamil made it clear, however, that she doesn't want people to abandon certain health goals. Instead, it's just about making sure those goals are motivated by the right reasons. "I'm not telling people not to exercise. I'm not telling them to stop bathing or stop brushing their teeth. And I believe in healthy eating and putting good fuel in your engine," she said. "But when you're clinging to the right to be able to spend hours and hours of your day thinking about your looks, is that definitely coming from you?" It's certainly something to think about.

This 5-Minute, 5-Move Dumbbell Arm Workout Is All You Need to Feel Sore Tomorrow
If you really want to build strong, defined muscles, using weights will give you an edge over bodyweight exercises. You don't have to spend hours in the gym lifting heavy barbells (although that sure is fun!). Just grab a pair of dumbbells, and do this five-minute workout. We promise: your arms will be burning by the end!
5-Minute Dumbbell Arm Workout
Directions: You'll need a light pair of dumbbells for this workout, so choose a weight depending on your strength (between two and 15 pounds is a good place to start). Perform each move ahead for 60 seconds without rest. For even more of an arm burn, repeat this workout a total of three times.
If you have shoulder issues or tightness, it's always a good idea to warm up your upper body before going into a workout. Do some arm circles, a few Down Dog to Tuck-Toe Up Dogs, and some band pull aparts.
The Exercises:
Overhead shoulder press
Upright row
Wide bicep curl
Bent-over reverse fly
Triceps kickback
Details of how to do each move are ahead.

Why Happy Hour Is Challenging For People Who Prefer Cannabis
The following post was originally published on Miss Grass.
Society gets a real kick out of telling us who to be and, even more than that, who not to be. How we behave around alcohol and cannabis is no different. Say no to drugs, but pour yourself a drink.
We've designed parties around drinking. We've built holiday tours for drinkers. We've even designated a window in every day called "Happy Hour" - a euphemism for drinking during prohibition - where cheap snacks and booze bring restaurant patrons in droves. And if your grandfather taught you anything, it was to be a good friend and a good coworker is to share in the ritual of a nice stiff drink.
But the ceremony of drinking en groupe extends well beyond social gatherings. Drinking in professional circles is every bit as prevalent, even serving as a right of passage in some industries. Many offices come equipped with kegs and by five o'clock the taps are flowing.
If you're a drinker, it may not occur to you that Happy Hour is in fact a pretty awkward formality for non-drinkers. Professional acquaintances like to "catch up" over drinks. Happy Hour is widely understood as that part of the workday to look forward to - a chance to really let your hair down.
But what if throwing back calorie laden beer isn't your idea of unwinding? We've all been at a table when one person orders a glass of water. Are you pregnant? Water, really?! What's wrong with you?
What if your idea of catching up looks more like smoking a joint together?
A recent study out of the University of Connecticut shows that alcohol sales in states where cannabis has been legalized have actually gone down, which supports the case that many are using cannabis as a substitute rather than a complement to alcohol.
That's right, there are some people for which cannabis is actually the preference over alcohol. And that makes sense, right? It spares you the hangover, it's less expensive (assuming it's accessible where you live) and it's altogether easier on the bod.
With cannabis going mainstream and Wall Streeters flocking in droves to invest, it makes you wonder when perceptions about real life cannabis users will catch up. It's hard to say. But while we wait, let's do our part to educate the people around us, to come clean about our fair lady plant, and to share the joys of our cannabis rituals with as many people as possible.
There are, after all, plenty of ways to make cannabis discreet and accessible, even for those after-work drink crowds.
These Ugly-Sweater-Inspired Sneakers Are the Only Running Shoes I'm Wearing in December
I'll be honest: I'm kind of sick of the ugly Christmas sweater trend. The parties, the holiday races, and gyms participating in ugly holiday-themed classes all get wrapped up in this tired tradition where people are more interested in doing it for the 'gram than actually enjoying the festivities.
But that all changed when Brooks sent me the sneaker version of the ugly Christmas sweater: Ugly Sweater Levitate 2 ($150). These are the same version of the Levitate 2, which I already love, but in a fun, festive ugly sweater pattern. The laces look like striped candy canes and even feature little jingle bells. Plus, the Levitate 2 offers plenty of support and cushion for my runs, and I haven't yet fallen off the treadmill while wearing them (which is a major plus!).
I'm fully planning on rocking these all December long during my Orangetheory and Barry's Bootcamp classes and running on the treadmill at the gym. I will probably take off the little bells, though; I don't need to be driving everyone else in the gym bonkers. And if I stop being a Scrooge and actually attend an ugly Christmas sweater party this year, you better believe I'll be rocking these sneakers along with my matching sweater.
