You Are Cordially Invited to Watch the First Teaser For the Downton Abbey Movie
Just when we thought the Downton Abbey movie was never going to happen, the film adaptation of the popular period series was officially given the green light in June 2017. Now, we have our first look at what's sure to be a stunning feature.
The British period drama ended its sixth season in the US in 2016, and ever since, the production team behind the show had been hinting that a feature film would eventually make its way to screens. Maggie Smith, Michelle Dockery, Hugh Bonneville, and a handful of others are set to reprise their roles as members of the Crawley family. Although we don't see any of the principal cast in the brief teaser trailer, above, we do catch a glimpse of the sprawling Crawley residence, an unidentified man riding a motorcycle up to the home, the housekeepers milling about outside, and a parade presumably celebrating war heroes.
It's not much to go on, but since the film doesn't hit theaters until Sept. 3, 2019, we have plenty of time to theorize.

Disneyland Just Released a First Look at Its New Tropical Hideaway, and It Looks AMAZING!
Disneyland's Tropical Hideaway area has yet to open to the public, but the park just released its first look at the new installment earlier this week, and boy, does it look like a dream!
The Tropical Hideaway is set to replace what was formerly known as Aladdin's Oasis, per an announcement from Disney made back in February, and it'll serve as a resting area for guests to stop between adventures. Located in Disneyland's Adventureland between the Jungle Cruise and Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, the hideaway will be home to an eatery that will serve all kinds of unique dishes such as Sweet Pineapple Lumpia, a spring roll filled with pineapple and sweet cream cheese, and steamed bao buns with vegetable, chicken, and beef fillings. Matt Damon Reprises His Role as Brett Kavanaugh in This Hilarious SNL Christmas Skit
The holiday episode of Saturday Night Live opened with a bit called It's a Wonderful Trump, a parody of the classic movie It's a Wonderful Life. The hilarious skit portrayed a world in which Donald Trump never became president, and it featured a Christmas party with a few of the Trump administration's buddies - including Brett Kavanaugh, played again by host Matt Damon. In this world - which was shown in black-and-white to really mimic the 1940s movie - Kavanaugh did not, in fact, land a spot as a Supreme Court justice. "Me on the Supreme Court? With my temperament? Are you insane?!" Damon's Kavanaugh said.
The plus side to not being on the Supreme Court? "I have so much more time now to hang out with PJ and Squee and Needledick Nick," he joked. Oh yeah, and Damon's character gives Alec Baldwin's Trump a perfectly Kavanaugh gift: a calendar. "Every day is a different beer!" Damon exclaimed. Other highlights from the party include Ben Stiller's cameo as Michael Cohen and a backwards-hat-wearing Mike Pence (Beck Bennett) as the DJ. This Gorgeous Rustic Wedding Elegantly Incorporates Nature Into the Nuptials
Leann and Carl tied the knot in an intimate ceremony surrounded by family, friends, and lots of joy. The pair decided to have a beautiful rustic wedding, and photographer Phylicia Willis was there to capture the magic. "This day couldn't have been more peaceful from start to finish," she said. "There was such a calmness to Leann as she got ready in the hotel. She had beautiful thought-out details, from her choice of apparel, colors, flowers, and the symbolic streamers that were waved at their ceremony exit."
The lush, nature-inspired color scheme enhanced the ambience, as the dark-brown wood made the ideal backdrop for the greenery from all the flowers and plants and the shimmering golden details. The bride wore a lovely strapless gown with a mermaid-cut and lace detailing. The groom chose a sleek white tuxedo with a black bow-tie.
As for the gorgeous ceremony, Phylicia said, "My favorite part of their day had to be the vows. Carl's vows were a tearjerker, but Leann singing her vows to him was the icing on the cake! I got to witness such a sweet day that was filled with the couple's closest family and friends, and I couldn't be more honored to have been a part of it."

The Bride Wore Shimmering Stars at This Shakespeare-Inspired Wedding
Even though William Shakespeare published Romeo and Juliet in the 16th century, the iconic play has stood the test of time and inspired a whole range of work from paintings to movies to wedding themes. Photographer Sabrina Klomp definitely felt a creative impulse to channel the famous couple in this styled wedding shoot that took place at the Higuera Ranch in San Luis Obispo, CA.
"The concept for the shoot was a modern twist on Shakespeare's classic Romeo and Juliet," Sabrina said. "With moody blues, gold accents, and inspiration from stars and constellations, the shoot created a youthful, romantic setting for today's young-at-heart bride and groom." The bride wore a peach-tone gown with metallic stars embroidered on it - a nod to the famous quote from the chorus of the play that refers to the couple as "a pair of star-cross'd lovers." The groom looked handsome in a black suit with long hair that is parted to the side, which is reminiscent of the Shakespearean era. The shoot also incorporated stunning decor that included vibrant flowers, long candles, and gothic tableware.

Well, photographer Jessica Palacios managed to capture the amazing essence of the holiday season in this gorgeous Christmas-themed wedding shoot. "By the time Halloween comes around, I'm ready for some holiday cheer. I know I'm not the only one!" said Jessica. "We wanted to embrace every essence of Christmas with the styled shoot. The textures of this shoot to the small details, I truly believe we captured Christmas in the form of a wedding."
This shoot absolutely embodies the Christmas spirit in every detail. Even the intricate embroidery on the bride's bodice is reminiscence of snowflake patterns. The groom looks festive in a sharp suit with a lapel pin above his breast pocket made from holly leaves. The food and drinks were laid out on a wooden table, which adds a rustic charm to the shoot, while mistletoe leaves, pine cones, and wreaths are elegantly used to decorate the room. In most of the photos, the most prominent colors are deep red, forest green, and gold, which perfectly reflect the magic of Christmas.

I've Been on 50 Flights in the Past 2 Years - This Is How I Don't Get Sick
In the past two years, I've been on roughly 50 different flights, across different countries, states, airlines, and airports. It's not as glamorous as it sounds - in the first year, I got the flu four times, two weeks a pop! I began to dread flying, because it felt inevitable that my frail immune system would contract whatever germs were floating around in the air of the cabin.
And it's not just me - the journal BMC Infectious Diseases published a study on the role airports play in the transmission of influenza and pandemic threats. "Nucleic acid of at least one respiratory virus was detected in 9 out of 90 surface samples" in the examined airport, meaning about 10 percent of the things you touch in the airport have "at least" one virus. Sweet.
I decided to get proactive. Through research, trial and error, product testing, and talks with doctors, I created a defense guide on how to conquer air travel without picking up a nasty bug from your fellow passengers. Here's my go-to, must-do checklist I stick to every single time I travel. And, guess what? I haven't been sick once since I implemented this plan. Fly safe, my friends.

Disneyland Just Released a First Look at Its New Tropical Hideaway, and It Looks AMAZING!
Disneyland's Tropical Hideaway area has yet to open to the public, but the park just released its first look at the new installment earlier this week, and boy, does it look like a dream!
The Tropical Hideaway is set to replace what was formerly known as Aladdin's Oasis, per an announcement from Disney made back in February, and it'll serve as a resting area for guests to stop between adventures. Located in Disneyland's Adventureland between the Jungle Cruise and Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, the hideaway will be home to an eatery that will serve all kinds of unique dishes such as Sweet Pineapple Lumpia, a spring roll filled with pineapple and sweet cream cheese, and steamed bao buns with vegetable, chicken, and beef fillings.
