12 Grey's Anatomy Episodes Where Sandra Oh Shone as Cristina Yang

Sandra Oh has been making fanfare all throughout award season with her spectacular performance as Eve Polastri on BBC America's sexy crime thriller, Killing Eve. Besides this career-defining role, many TV viewers may know Oh from ABC's Grey's Anatomy as the tough-as-nails heart surgeon Cristina Yang, who might be more of a straight-talker than Eve, but is just as wonderfully nuanced. Oh graced the medical drama for ten seasons, portraying arguably one of the best characters on the show (and on television).

While Grey's fans love Meredith's sisterhood with Maggie and Amelia, it's hard to ever forget the brilliance that is her person, Cristina, who supports her, pushes her, and above all, always gives her the unadulterated truth. Here are 12 Cristina Yang-centered episodes of the series that showcase Oh's talent, whether you're looking to relive Grey's finest moments or want to learn about this seminal role without having to binge 300+ episodes of the never-ending series.

16 Black Cosplay Queens Who Will Give You Inspiration For Comic-Con and Beyond

The best part of being in any fandom is seeing how your favorite books, movies, and TV shows spark the creativity of the fans that love them. There are some truly creative souls out there who can take inspiration from anything and put their own unique spin on it to show their appreciation of it. I love seeing cosplayers put their creative skills to use by crafting their own versions of iconic costumes - whether they be a warrior princess, your favorite witches and wizards, or the legendary Toadette. As a black nerd, I especially love seeing cosplayers of color who challenge the idea of who participates in cosplay and what they can do.

It's a popular myth that the "nerdier" aspects of fandom - like cosplaying and LARPing - are male-dominated and reserved for non-black fans. But that's never been true and, in the age of social media, it's been hugely debunked by the large presence of black female fans who finally get a chance to show off their love for all things nerd and cosplay to the world wide web. Now, I'm not personally a cosplayer (there is not a creative bone in my body, sorry not sorry), but I am more than happy to share these 16 cosplay queens everyone should be following on Instagram.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Celebrated Valentine's Day in the Best Way - by Getting Engaged

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are engaged! The couple shared the news on Feb. 15, after what looks like a romantic Valentine's Day proposal. Both Katy and Orlando shared a selfie surrounded by heart-shaped balloons, with Katy showing off her giant flower-shaped ring, which features a pink stone in the center. The singer captioned her picture "full bloom," while Orlando went with "lifetimes."

Katy and Orlando have had an on-off romance since 2016, when they were spotted flirting at the Golden Globes, but we didn't see them hit the red carpet as a couple until September 2018. They keep their relationship fairly private, but we have had glimpses of their sweet romance over the years and seen them attend glamorous events together a number of times. We're looking forward to seeing them lots more in the future. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Tidying Up With James Corden and Jean-Claude Van Damme Is Enough to Spark Joy in the Biggest KonMari Denier

If you find the global Netflix hit Tidying Up With Marie Kondo a little too soft and gentle but still have a house that needs some serious decluttering, have no fear. James Corden and Jean-Claude Van Damme are here with their own answer to KonMari, which they displayed on The Late Late Show With James Corden on Thursday. Their tidying technique, the "James Cord Van Damme method," begins with the same simple question - "does this spark joy?" - but that's where the similarities end. While Marie Kondo respects each item, thanking it for its service before sending it to a new home, James and Jean-Claude have a slightly more extreme approach, which you can witness in the video above. There's no denying it's effective, but we can't help thinking all this tidying up is only going to result in, um, more tidying up?!

Prince Harry Hangs Out in an Igloo Surrounded by Pictures of Meghan Markle - Yes, Really

We hope Meghan's ready to get the kettle on, because when Prince Harry gets home from work, he's going to need warming up. The prince spent Valentine's Day in freezing temperatures, as he paid a visit 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle in northern Norway. Harry's visit was to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Exercise Clockwork, an elite training exercise that teaches military personnel how to operate, fight, and survive in extreme cold weather. Harry - who took over the role of Captain General of the Royal Marines in 2017 - arrived at the base in uniform, fitting right in as he met troops, and received a briefing on the operation.

During his visit, Harry also checked out Quincey Shelter, a version of an igloo that is dug out and used in emergencies; the troops surprised Harry by decorating the inside of the igloo with candles, romantic music, and framed photos of him and Meghan on their wedding day. "You weirdos! Nice," Harry remarked with a laugh. He also called it "homey" and "romantic," adding, "It's very kind of you to invite me into your private, err, shrine." See all the photos from his trip ahead.

Today Must Be My Lucky Day, Because McDonald's Shamrock Shake Is Officially Back!

It's not St. Patrick's Day yet, but McDonald's already has us feeling pretty lucky. The fast food chain got a head start on celebrating the holiday when it announced on Feb. 14 that its beloved Shamrock Shake is officially back on the menu. "The minty moment you've been waiting for is finally here: the Shamrock Shake is back! Find one near you on our app," McDonald's wrote on Twitter. The Shamrock Shake is the mint green-colored milkshake from McDonald's that has gained quite the cult following since its introduction in 1970. The limited-edition treat is made with vanilla soft serve that's blended with minty Shamrock Shake syrup and topped with whipped cream and a cherry.

Shamrock Shakes are available at participating locations until March 24, and if you're not sure where to find one, McDonald's built a feature into its app that helps users track down specific locations that are selling the concoction. Once customers pull up the app and plug into their respective zip codes, they can pick any of the locations that the app suggests and either order the shake in store or via drive-through. Head to a location near you to snag a shake in all its green glory.

This Couple Got Their Happily Ever After With a Fairy-Tale-Themed Wedding

ReAnne and Tyler first met during their orientation at Disney World, so it is only fitting that they chose to have a magical, fairy-tale-themed wedding. The pair tied the knot in Mount Pleasant, SC, and a photographer from Riverland Studios was there to capture this scenic wedding.

"ReAnne envisioned pixie dust strewn across her perfect wedding day, and from the dress to the dance, the day played out of a storybook," said the photographer.

ReAnne looked like she was straight out of a fairy tale in a ballgown-style wedding dress with lace detailing, and Tyler looked handsome in a suit with a Tinkerbell-inspired green patterned bow tie as they exchanged rings. Inside their venue, the rustic wood was lined with a string of cafe lights to enhance the enchanting ambiance of the room. ReAnne also carried a bouquet made out of green shrubs to match the green placemats and centerpieces in the room. All the greenery in the wedding gave the illusion of a forest setting, which is the perfect place for a great fairy tale like ReAnne and Tyler's wedding.

See photos of this charming wedding ahead!

We Out Here: An Open Letter From POPSUGAR Editors

It is both a thrilling and frightening time to be a black woman. While we're running for office, smashing box office records, writing Great American Novels, and shaping the culture, we are also navigating a world in which we're still being undervalued, underpaid, and underappreciated. In the midst of that, though, is community - black women coming together on the internet and IRL to hold space and fix one another's crowns. Whether we're hyping one another up on the 'gram or taking it offline for a few intentional breaths, one thing is clear: if no one else has us, we'll always have each other.

With that in mind, POPSUGAR is celebrating the breadth and diversity of black women by creating a space for you - and us - to be seen. We Out Here is a place where you will discover everything from the best black-hosted podcasts to accompany your morning commute to beauty brands that give back and how to find a therapist who has your best interest at heart and manage your mental health (because that's super important, too). These Harry Potter Halloween Wedding Photos Are Riddikulus-ly Amazing

Leave it to a Ravenclaw to pull off one of the most methodically planned Harry Potter weddings we've ever seen. On Oct. 27, several well-dressed witches and wizards gathered at Chase Court in Baltimore to celebrate the marriage of Meghan Kotlanger and Travis Griffin, two self-proclaimed "gryffindorks" whose Harry Potter-themed Halloween wedding was something straight out of the Mirror of Erised. After five months of planning and crafting, this happy couple pulled out all the stops, giving 65 of their closest muggle friends and family a glimpse into the wizarding world.

The couple, who met on MySpace in 2008, became engaged in November 2016 and immediately took on a two-year endeavor to plan a wedding that would make Minerva McGonagall proud. Travis Griffin is (no surprise) a Gryffindor, while Meghan is a Ravenclaw, which came in handy when she was putting together all 48 pages of their wedding production book. What started out as a quick Pinterest search of wedding ideas for the bride-to-be quickly transformed into a handcrafted Harry Potter paradise. "We made a Monster Book of Monsters (a four-week endeavor), a PVC pipe photo booth, a hollowed-out Half Blood Prince book to hold the rings, all of the signage, a mandrake, a dragon egg, flying keys, a dementor, chicken wire ghosts, silhouette lanterns . . . and even a smoking pensieve," Meghan told POPSUGAR.

"We're both October babies and love everything Halloween. We also know that Oct. 1 is the start of Harry Potter season, so we knew it had to be a Hallowedding to represent everything we love about October," Meghan said. She added that her main goal in planning the wedding was to make it "feel less like a wedding with Harry Potter incorporated and more like Harry Potter with a wedding incorporated." And it certainly looks like this Ravenclaw succeeded if these enchanting wedding pics are anything to go by.

Guests (who were urged to arrive via Floo Network) were asked to show their Hogwarts pride by wearing their house colors to the ceremony, and a link to a "Mandatory Sorting Hat Quiz" was provided on the couple's wedding site for anyone who was still torn between their magical allegiances. Personalized LED wands were even provided for each guest to practice their charms and accio parts of the Great Feast their way - including an assortment of Dragon Deviled Eggs, Golden Snitches, "Firewhiskey," and Amortentia from a large cauldron. Short of delivering their wedding invites via owl, the couple managed to squeeze almost every Harry Potter detail imaginable into their special day.

The happy couple's Unbreakable Vows were officiated by none other than Professor Dumbledore himself (or, for muggles, Meghan's uncle Scott), who had the entire wedding party crying from laughter during the ceremony when he lost his wizard hat not one, but three times. And the reception afterwards was just as enjoyable, with mini Herbology, Potions, and Divination classrooms set up for guests who preferred studying to dancing (aka the Hermiones) and Triwizard Tournament games set up in the library (Room of Requirement).

Unlike Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour's wedding - which was unexpectedly invaded by a swarm of Death Eaters - Meghan and Travis's wedding was all pumpkin juice and smiles as guests kissed (plastic) singing toads, indulged in pumpkin pasties, and got their Yule Ball on to the tunes of DJ Potter (aka DJ Riddikulus). One of the night's hits even included DJ Potter's own personal mix "99 Problems, but a Snitch Ain't One."

The wedding, which ended at 9 3/4 o'clock, was a truly magical occasion. And the newly married "gryffindorks" also followed up with a Harry Potter-themed honeymoon! Meghan and Travis trekked all over Europe - including Germany, Poland, Belgium, Switzerland, France, and London. "Our fantastic bookends involved attending our very first LARP at the College of Wizardry in Poland – seriously one of the most wonderful and fulfilling experiences of our lives – and seeing Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in London," Meghan said.

For more info on planning your own wedding in the wizarding world, check out Meghan and Travis's wedding site - created by the bride herself - and take a look at these photos for more details on their Unbreakable Vow wedding.

16 Things That Simply Would Not Exist Without Black Women

It shouldn't be news anymore that women have invented everything from beer and coffee to wifi and disposable diapers. But what's more is that black women specifically have offered their ingenuity, innovation, and creativity to the world in ways you wouldn't believe. I take it you ran a brush through your hair this morning? You can thank Lyda Newman for keeping your locks sleek and shiny.

Black women's incredible contributions have been largely overlooked in modern society, even though they were able to make them against all odds. After the Civil War, it was nearly impossible for African-American women to be accepted to universities, take jobs in STEM, or be granted patents for their creations; intersectional discrimination kept many women from being taken seriously as inventors and entrepreneurs. Despite those hurdles, black women were able to fight for patents and, in many cases, sell their inventions to the masses. Keep reading for 16 things that wouldn't exist without the brain of a black woman.

My Kids Aren't That Into Disney, but We Still Go Because I Love It

Whenever a big school break is on the horizon, I usually come up with a plan to try to make a Disney vacation happen. And while my kids used to always love the idea, they've recently started having other interests that are very far outside Mickey, Minnie, and the rest of the crew. "Can we go to Legoland instead?" my 6-year-old will ask. After hearing their "protests" I immediately ask myself, "What is wrong with my kids?!" I mean, how can they not want to go to Disney at all times?

But then it got me thinking. What is it about Disneyland that I love so much that every other trip pales in comparison? I suppose Disneyland reminds me of my childhood, a happier time when I had no cares in the world. Now, when I visit Disneyland as an adult, I find myself in that same state of euphoria. At Disneyland, there are no work deadlines to meet, no bills to be paid, and no cleaning to be done. And when there's so many yummy Disney treats to enjoy, I'm not worried about my waistline, either. In the park, I truly embrace the Hakuna Matata philosophy. Being at Disneyland is a great escape from reality, and as a stressed out mother of two, I need that.

Of course, my family has vacationed at other kid-friendly places, including Legoland, and while switching it up is awesome, Disneyland is still the only place that sparks real joy and magic for me. As soon as I hear that tweet noise when I enter the gates (you know the one), I'm captivated by the beauty, fantasy, and wonder. When I walk down Main Street USA, smell that delicious vanilla aroma, and catch sight of the breathtaking view of the castle, I'm overcome with excitement. The amazing part is that the feeling stays with me throughout the entire vacation. Just like me, Disneyland has changed throughout the years - it's grown and adapted while never losing its enchantment and charm. Walt Disney said it best at Disneyland's grand opening when he declared, "Disneyland will never be completed, as long as there is imagination left in the world."

Although my kids may have initially preferred a new destination for our family vacation, they never regret coming to Disney once we're there. They scream their heads off as we plummet down Splash Mountain, squeal with delight at the sight of their favorite Disney princess strolling through Fantasyland, and savor every delicious bite of Disney's famous churros. By the end of the trip, they are whining that they don't want their fun vacation to end. Me too, babies. Me too.

I maintain my sense of wonder, and I have Disneyland to thank for that. My kids may not be as obsessed as I am, but they still have the best time. We create such special memories as a family, and while we'll definitely travel to other places, I want to try to keep Disneyland as a yearly tradition. Because to me, Disneyland is and always will be "the happiest place on Earth."

7 Creative Ways to Cut Back on Waste on a Daily Basis

I enjoy setting goals for myself. I want to lift more weights, eat fewer French fries and more vegetables, and stop spending money on frivolous things. I strive to make them achievable (I'm aware I'm never fully giving up fries), but they always tend to be self-focused and involve ways to become more personally fit, skilled, or successful. But this year, I've decided to shake things up. I want to make changes that will benefit someone other than myself and actually do some good in the world. So, I made a pact to take steps to reduce my personal waste on a daily basis, and it turns out, it's a lot easier to do than you might think (and it makes me feel pretty great, too). There's a Toy Story 4 Ice Cream Coming Soon, So Now Would Be a Perfect Time to Panic

The buzz surrounding Toy Story 4's arrival in theaters this year just keeps on building. The movie won't officially be released until June 21, but it looks like there's a Toy Story 4-themed ice cream that you can enjoy while you patiently wait to stampede to the nearest movie theater to watch it. According Candy Hunting, Edy's Ice Cream is gearing up to release two brand new flavors of the ice cream any minute now, so get your spoons ready.

The first of the two flavors is Cinnamon Churro Carnival Combo, which, judging by the photo above, appears to be a mixture of vanilla ice cream, cinnamon swirl, and pieces of actual churros. The second flavor is called Chocolate Peanut Butter Midway Mash-Up, and it looks like it'll be made with a chocolate ice cream base mixed with peanut butter and chocolate chunks.

I don't know about you, but both of these sound pretty dreamy if you ask me. No other details have emerged about when either of the flavors are set to make their way to freezers, but Disney Food Blog recently reported that they both have already been spotted in grocery stores in Pennsylvania. That's probably a really good sign that they'll be available in a store near you sometime soon, so you may want to keep your eyes peeled for them the next time you're in the freezer aisle.
