Like Magic This 2-in-1 Reversible Puffer Gives You Double the Outfits

"Noooo way!" we both shrieked as we compared the outfits we were planning for New York Fashion Week. It happened: Nikita and I chose the exact same puffer for our wardrobes, and I wouldn't even say we have very similar taste. Nikita's more street style cool, whereas my look has always been sort of playful. If you named iconic accessories, like the Off-White Industrial belt, for example, it'd be easy to decide "that's so Nikita." Meanwhile, seashell jewelry is more up my alley.

But somehow this R13 down hoodie appealed to us both. Firstly, we're both attracted to bright colors, and when we read the product description and discovered the design is reversible, it was a done deal. The piece pretty much got us through the entire week. I wore it two times, styling it once on the blue side and once on the green, and Nikita will convince you of its versatility having rocked it with the chicest Tamara Mellon knee-high boots. When you're wearing this jacket, your look doesn't have to fall into the tough, sporty camp. You've got options. You can coordinate it with a midi dress and sock booties at night or denim during the day.

Nikita and I both got plenty of compliments on our electric outerwear, and we legitimately stopped cars in SoHo when we posed in it, fully distracting drivers and passersby from traffic lights and street signs. Scroll to read up on our styling tips for working a coat like this one, then shop our exact one or some similar reversible puffers we absolutely love.

Meghan Markle's Baby Shower Look Is Very Charlotte York, Don't You Think?

Meghan Markle touched down in New York to celebrate her baby shower with family and friends at The Mark Hotel. Meghan stepped out ahead of the bash sporting a look we could immediately picture on Charlotte York. The duchess opted for dark Le Specs sunglasses ($70), a buttoned 1965 Courrèges Haute Couture cloak from William Vintage, Hatch skinny jeans, delicate gold jewelry (including her Solange Azagury Partridge Love Ring, Bar Jewelry bracelet, and Pippa Small earrings), and suede Stuart Weitzman heels ($398) that matched her taupe tote bag by Carolina Herrera. Whether or not she'll change into a pantsuit or dress once guests arrive, we've not a clue. But even if she stayed in this classic combination, she clearly still remembers how to make a splash in the Big Apple. No move to London can change that! Scroll for another peek, then shop Meghan's city essentials.

If You Don't Get Your Kids These "Baby Shark" Fingerlings, Do You Really Have a Toddler?

If Pinkfong's "Baby Shark" song is on a seemingly constant loop in your household, then you're in luck, because there's a whole bunch of themed merch about to hit stores in 2019. And while we can't get enough of the "Baby Shark" plushes or brand-new line of Play-Doh accessories, there's one toy that will reign supreme this year: "Baby Shark" Fingerlings ($15).

Hitting shelves in October, these sweet little guys are similar to their predecessors in the sense that they wrap around your finger, move on their own, and make noises. But the part your little one will truly love? The singing, of course. Yep, you read that correctly. Your kids age 2 and up will have yet another source of "Baby Shark" craziness, so maybe it's time Mom and Dad invest in some noise-canceling headphones, huh?

This Family Shared a Sweet Photo of Their 1-Year-Old to Help Find His Heart Donor

After beating the odds at just 3 months old thanks to a heart transplant, Titus Sickles, now 1 year old, honored his donor with a full-on photo shoot for his first birthday. When he was born on Jan. 8, Titus had half a heart and was also diagnosed with cardiomyopathy - when you heart doesn't pump blood efficiently - so within a matter of days he was put on the transplant list. Following a terrifying year of health problems for Titus, his mom, Rena Sickles, organized the shoot. She enlisted the help of Sarah Masten from Little Hearts Photos, who got to work planning the perfect day.

"It was a miracle he even made it to his first birthday," Rena told POPSUGAR. "Without his heart transplant he would have been lucky to make it through the next week. We felt like his birthday was a huge milestone and what better way to celebrate than to capture the excitement."

And Rena had a very particular concept in mind for the shoot. Because of privacy laws, organ donors' identities are kept secret, which meant Rena needed to get creative.

"I asked his photographer if she was up for a challenge to make one of the photos like those pictures people take with a sign looking for their biological parents after being adopted," she said. "To me, the donor's family is our family, so it was the same concept to me. After all, Titus is only alive today because of their selfless choice to donate life."

There She Is! Meghan Markle Is Glowing as She Celebrates Her Baby Shower in NYC

Meghan Markle is awaiting the arrival of her first child with Prince Harry, but first, she is celebrating with her nearest and dearest. After making a secret solo trip to NYC over the weekend, the Duchess of Sussex was spotted leaving The Mark Hotel - which is the reported venue of her baby shower - on Tuesday. Clad in an all-black ensemble, Meghan looked positively radiant as she cradled her baby bump while making her way to a nearby restaurant for lunch with her former Suits costar Abigail Spencer, who was spotted carrying a blue gift bag. Hmm . . .

Meghan is expected to give birth in late April. While the royal couple are keeping the baby's sex a surprise, the little bundle of joy will be making royal history as the first British-American baby born into the royal family. So exciting!

Wolfgang Puck Shares His Vegan Oscars Party Dishes on Ellen, Including Raw-Apple "Sushi"

Oscars night is a huge deal for every star nominated for an award, but it's also a big event for Wolfgang Puck. The celebrity chef is heading into his 25th year of cooking for the film industry's A-listers, and he stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to share some of the vegan dishes he'll be serving on Sunday. So, what's on the menu? Turns out wine and cheese certainly isn't the only thing you can serve at your own Oscars viewing party. Although there was definitely wine - we can thank Diane Keaton for that (she sipped her own wine brand).

First up is apple "sushi" rolls that Wolfgang made by putting an opal apple through an apple corer to get paper-thin sheets. He added crunchy fillings like celery and fennel and rolled each one up before slicing them into bite-size pieces to dip into dressing. Next, he put together a flavorful vegan pasta with a vibrant sauce of olive oil, garlic, spinach, crushed tomatoes, capers, stock, red pepper flakes for a little heat, and pesto on top for a pop of green. Ellen, who eats a mostly plant-based diet, approved.

Wolfgang also showed off a dessert spread complete with tons of vegan cookies and a gorgeous pavlova made with aquafaba (aka magical chickpea liquid) instead of egg whites. If you're toasting to the big night with your own group of friends, these ideas are easy enough to recreate. "All you have to do is make it for a thousand people and you're done," Wolfgang joked.

Mandy Moore Had "No Sense of Self" During Ryan Adams Marriage: "I Was So Lonely With Him"

Mandy Moore was one of a handful of women quoted in a recent New York Times exposé about musician Ryan Adams and his alleged history of sexual harassment and indecency. The This Is Us star, who was married to the singer-songwriter from 2009 to 2015, revealed details of Adams's behavior during their marriage, alleging that he was "psychologically abusive" and effectively stalled her music career. Moore also revealed that music was "a point of control" for Adams: "He would always tell me, 'You're not a real musician, because you don't play an instrument,'" she said.

On Monday, Moore appeared on the WTF With Marc Maron podcast to discuss the NYT piece and give more backstory to their "entirely unhealthy dynamic." "I was living my life for him," she said of Adams, whom she met when she was 23 and he was a decade older. "Oh, I had no sense of self. I was imperceptible; I was so small in my own world." Moore also gave insight into her state of mind during their marriage, saying she felt a "drowning" feeling. "It was so untenable and unsustainable, and it was so lonely. I was so sad. I was lonely with him." Moore revealed that her initial connection to Adams came at a time when she felt "out of control," citing the dissolution of her parents' own marriage in 2007. "I can't control my immediate family, and the fact that this particular situation blew us up in a way . . . I guess kind of just thought, 'I'll create my own family,'" Moore said.

When it comes to her career, Moore admitted that even though she didn't completely stop working, it "became abundantly clear" that "things would completely fall apart at home" whenever she did take a job. "I couldn't do my job because there was just a constant stream of trying to pay attention to this person who needed me and wouldn't let me do anything else," she said. Despite the sad reality, Moore was aware that it wouldn't last forever. "I knew that this wasn't the rest of my life. I knew that this wasn't the person I was supposed to be with. I knew that I wasn't the person I was meant to be." She filed for divorce in January 2015, and the couple's marriage was officially over that June. Moore moved on with Dawes frontman Taylor Goldsmith, and they tied the knot in November 2018.

Ryan Adams has called the NYT exposé "upsettingly inaccurate" and claims that some of the details were "misrepresented," "exaggerated," and "outright false." Adams's lawyer gave a separate statement to the publication that called Moore's characterization of their marriage "completely inconsistent with [Adams's] view of the relationship."

All the Details on Dolly Parton's New Netflix Anthology Series

Music legend Dolly Parton has been having a resurgence of sorts lately. At this year's Grammy Awards, she was honored with a huge tribute that included goddaughter Miley Cyrus, Little Big Town, Katy Perry, and a slew of other artists (plus she took the stage herself!). Parton's next move is a new venture for her: creating a Netflix miniseries. Heartstrings, set to debut later in 2019, is already shaping up to be a buzzy series. We've rounded up everything we know so far about the show!

The Concept

According to Variety, Heartstrings will be an anthology series with eight episodes. Each episode, which will be a standalone story with a totally different cast and setting, will also be based off one of Parton's iconic songs - yes, including "Jolene." For the most part, this music-based concept is the only thing connecting the episodes. However, Parton herself is also slated to fill a connecting role: she will appear in every episode in some way. In some episodes, she may have a role in the actual story; for others, she will simply host an introduction to the episode. Variety also reported that "each episode will begin with an introduction by Parton talking/singing to camera about the meaning behind each song."

The Hollywood Reporter has the basic synopses for each of the eight episodes, and they range in style and even genre. One episode, named after Parton's famous hit "Jolene," follows a singer-songwriter longing to get out of a small town. Others have historical settings, from the 1880s to the 1940s and more. Some episodes appear to be mostly comedies, while others are more dramatic. The one common thread is Parton's music and her desire to dramatize the stories and themes behind the songs.

The Cast

Unlike other anthologies like American Horror Story, where the same actors cycle through several stories and play different characters in each new "universe," Heartstrings will have a different cast for each of its eight episodes. The biggest news, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter, is that Julianne Hough will star in the "Jolene" episode - alongside Parton herself. Hough plays Jolene, "a flirtatious free spirit who wants to escape her hometown of Coventry, Georgia, and become a singer-songwriter," while Parton will appear as Babe, "a 'force of nature' and the owner of Baby Blue's, a honky-tonk known for its scantily clad servers and eclectic crowd. She looks after all her waitresses but feels especially close to Jolene."

Other episodes will star Once Upon a Time vets Ginnifer Goodwin and Colin O'Donoghue (sorry, not in the same episode!), Scandal's Bellamy Young, and Oscar winner Melissa Leo. The cast also includes several young stars and newcomers to the TV world.

The Music

Each episode of Heartstrings is inspired by a Parton song, but no word yet on how the songs will fit into the structure. They may be performed in some episodes - casting musically-inclined actors like Hough would seem to indicate this is the case - but there has been no official announcement either way. As the series gets closer to its debut, more details are sure to arrive!

We Asked Dentists If Kombucha Is Damaging to Your Teeth, and You Might Want to Sit Down

Kombucha is the wellness drink of the moment, and for good reason. The fermented tea is rich in probiotics and prebiotics, which help increase the good bacteria in the gut, improving digestion and overall health. But if you really love kombucha, sad news: it may not be as great for your teeth.

"The dominant type of bacteria in kombucha creates acetic acid," Jeffery Sulitzer, DMD, chief clinical officer at SmileDirectClub, told POPSUGAR. "On the pH scale, white distilled vinegar tests around 2.4 pH. A properly brewed batch of kombucha may fall anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5."

Acid is known to wear down tooth enamel, but "the acidic pH found in kombucha also allows the 'bad' bacteria already found in your mouth to potentially create an unhealthier environment for your gums," Dr. Sulitzer said. "Drinking kombucha can be just as harmful for your teeth as drinking a sugary soda since the net result is lowered pH and the potential of having an increase in tooth decay and gum disease."

Like other dark beverages, including wine and coffee, kombucha can also cause the surface of your teeth to become discolored. "Because kombucha contains tannins, drinking it over time will stain your pearly whites," Dr. Sulitzer said.

Sipping tea through a straw can help. "Place a straw behind your front teeth, so that the acidic beverage has less of a chance of coming in contact with your teeth," said Tricia Quartey, DMD, FAGD, a spokesperson for the American Dental Association. "After consuming any acidic beverage, it's good to drink fluoridated water, which will rinse your mouth and help keep acids under control."

This helps protect that precious enamel, which not only makes your teeth appear whiter, but also serves as a barrier against bacteria that can cause cavities and infection, Dr. Quartey explained. So, have your kombucha - but not without taking some precautions.

Netflix Created a Rom-Com Version of You, and It's So Sweet, It'll Drive You Crazy

Warning: mild You spoilers ahead!

Netflix's You is many things: thrilling, chilling, steamy, and terrifying. However, it's not a romantic comedy. But what if you removed all the cyberstalking, real-life stalking, obsession, and, uh, murder? Well, you might get a sweet love story! It just wouldn't be about Joe Goldberg and Guinevere Beck. Joe and Beck - played by Penn Badgley and Elizabeth Lail, respectively - were the key focus of the show's first season. Joe's dark nature doomed the couple from the start, and I certainly didn't root for them to stay together. Yet, another romantic (less-psychotic) relationship blossomed in the background: Joe's Mooney's bookstore coworker, Ethan (Zach Cherry), was searching for love and found it with Beck's classmate Blythe (Hari Nef).

Netflix went ahead and re-imagined You from the lens of Ethan and Blythe in a fake movie trailer. Thank god their storyline isn't insane, it's just insanely sweet. Joe is relegated to the wary best friend role, and you know what, I like this less serial-killer side of him so much better. But don't expect sappiness like this from the real show - I'll be back to my distrusting ways once season two rolls around. Check out the trailer below!

Benefit Cosmetics Is Having a 1-Day Sale on Mascara Right Now, So You Better Act Fast

Whether you knew National Lash Day was an actual holiday or not, that doesn't mean you can't celebrate it anyway thanks to this sweet deal from Benefit Cosmetics. In honor of the very real holiday, which falls on Feb. 19, the cult-favorite cosmetics brand is allowing customers to purchase one of its most popular mascaras for half the regular price.

For one day only, customers can be on their way to getting the voluminous lashes of their dreams by purchasing Benefit's BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara ($13, originally $25). One POPSUGAR editor tested out the mascara and raved about it, writing: "It separates every lash so they look fluffy, and as you add more coats, the texture doesn't look spidery or feel heavy. You can apply three to four coats of BADgal Bang without any heaviness. The reason behind this is that the mascara uses aeroparticles - derived from space technology - to make your lashes float to the high heavens while dispensing coats of volumizing magic."

The deal sounds like a pretty good one, and any interested parties should go ahead and snag a few tubes, like, right now.

New York City Is Protecting Racial and Cultural Identities With This New Ban

Braids, Bantu knots, locs - it is now considered racial discrimination to single someone out for wearing these hairstyles in New York City. The New York Times reported that the city's Commission on Human Rights is imposing a ban against practices that discriminate "based on their hair or hairstyle at work, school, or in public spaces," and that a penalty up to $250,000 can be imposed on anyone who doesn't follow its guidelines. That means that instances like that of Cree Ballah, who was told her hair was unprofessional by her employer, or that of students Maya and Deanna Cook, who The New York Times cited as having been "forced to serve detentions because officials said their braids violated their school's grooming policy," will not be tolerated.

"The New York City Human Law protects the rights of New Yorkers to maintain natural hair or hairstyles that are closely associated with their racial, ethnic, or cultural identities," a statement from the Commission read. "For Black people, this includes the right to maintain natural hair, treated or untreated hairstyles such as locs, cornrows, twists, braids, Bantu knots, fades, Afros, and/or the right to keep hair in an uncut or untrimmed state."

In an ideal world, this law wouldn't need to exist, but with the many injustices that take place against people of color (take the policy that prohibited black women to wear their natural hair in the US Navy until last it was reversed last year as an example, or even just the mainstream expectations that people have for women's hair ), we're very glad to hear that it does.

You Asked "Who's the Silver Fox Behind Kim Kardashian?" and We Answered

By now, most of us have seen the photos of Kim Kardashian wearing a dress that left pretty much nothing to the imagination (which made us nervous just looking at it,) but it seems many POPSUGAR readers were more concerned who the "hot guy" behind her in the photos were. "Who's the silver fox behind her?" you asked. "Can we talk about the gorgeous man behind her?" you pleaded. Well, your wish is our command. The guy accompanying Kardashian is Chris Appleton, hairstylist to the stars, creator of the snatched ponytail, and owner of some incredibly handsome gray hair. No, he's not Kardashian's bodyguard, but he's equally important as the man behind some of her best hair color transformations. Trust us, this man can deliver a mean ponytail.

Originally from the UK, Appleton worked his way up through a traditional salon setting, got his degree in hair color, then went down an editorial hair route before making his way into the celebrity hair styling world. Now he's the go-to guy for huge celebrities, including Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, and Kylie Jenner. His signature snatched pony practically gave a POPSUGAR editor superpowers. Ahead, get a closer look at the man himself, plus some of his best celebrity hair creations.

I Got Ariana Grande-Length Hair Extensions, and It Was Weirder Than I Thought

On a scale from one to Ariana Grande, my interest in hair extensions teeters between one and two. I have nothing against them; it's just that up until last week, I couldn't envision myself with anything but a lob if you paid me (although I am very open to trying, if that's on the table for you). That's because growing up, my mom had her own idea of what styles were cool, thankyouverymuch, and they looked more like the ever-arresting bowl cut, a mullet, and the shag. Then, when I got older, I quickly realized that longer hair elongated my face in a way that left me looking like an afghan hound, if afghan hounds were actually humans with objectively less cute snouts.

Still, fighting temptation (or was it curiosity?) became increasingly difficult as the XL-hair-extensions trend continued to graze the butts of everyone from Grande to Beyoncé to Jennifer Lopez. All that extra length seemed impractical at best, and at worst, profusely exhausting. I wondered: what was behind the sudden spike in popularity? And, perhaps more importantly, can someone without a glam squad on speed dial pull off the look, too? In an effort to find out, I made my way to the Bellami Beauty Bar in NYC, armed with loads of apprehension and zero idea of what to expect.

What happened next? Well, let's just say it went a little better than it did with the mullet. (Just don't tell my mom that.)

Kylie Jenner Opens Up About Those Plastic Surgery Rumors

Plastic surgery rumors have plagued Kylie Jenner since she was a teenager, and though she's spent time dodging them in the past, she recently set the record straight in a new interview with Paper magazine. The 21-year-old responded to the dozens of rumors she'd heard about herself in recent years and opened up about what isn't true. "People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false," she said. "I'm terrified! I would never."

Jenner revealed that she got temporary lip fillers in a 2015 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Since then, there has been a load of speculation regarding whether she's made any other major changes to her face. She chalks her good looks up to the aforementioned fillers and really good makeup. "They don't understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do," she said. Though makeup can be a pretty powerful tool, Jenner does admit there's a little more at work than that. "It's fillers," she added. "I'm not denying that."

The beauty mogul has frequently been candid about her enhanced lips in recent months. Last Summer, she admitted to a fan on Instagram that she got all of her fillers dissolved before revealing three months later via her Instagram Story that she was getting them again. She also wrote on Twitter in August that a video based on her "whole lip filler journey" would soon be coming.

Head over to Paper to read Jenner's full interview.

We Had to Do a Double-Take After Seeing Elsie Fisher's New Haircut

Elsie Fisher - star of the 2018 coming-of-age film Eighth Grade - said goodbye to her long, single-length waves this past weekend and debuted a new deep-parted lob. Celebrity hairstylist Bobby Eliot posted a photo of her fresh cut, right after he styled it with a slight bend for the Writers Guild Awards.

See Fisher's dramatic new look, ahead.

I've Been Obsessed With This $13 Mascara For Months, and It's Finally Coming to America

I get a lot of questions about my lashes and the mascara I use; it tends to come with the territory when you cover beauty products. People actually start by asking if I have lash extensions, and when I explain it's just the mascara, they light up. The good news? My current favorite is from a mass brand. Then I have to gently let them down: unfortunately, the product isn't available in America.

Until now.

Meet your new mascara obsession: L'Oréal Paris Unlimited Lash Lengthening and Lifting Mascara ($13). (I wish the name meant "unlimited" in terms of expiration, because I'm nearing the end of my bottle.) I was in Paris for Fashion Week with the brand, and Unlimited was part of my welcome bag, which included this Paris-only offering. Thankfully, the brand is launching the product in America come January.

As a devoted Voluminous and Lash Paradise fan, I had high hopes for Unlimited when I first gave it a go. It delivered. Initially, I was intrigued by the bottle. It's not a typical tube; it's not square or circular. "It looks like a buoy . . . you know, in the ocean. Or an inflatable punching bag," my boyfriend said when I asked him to describe the shape. He's not wrong. (Don't tell him I said that, thanks.) If it were glass, it might look like a gorgeous bottle for a fragrance. The real point of difference, though, is the wand, which actually changes angles for more precision when you apply. You can use it straight or click it into a 45-degree angle, which is meant to help you get to the root of your lashes better.

For me, I barely change the position of the wand because I find I can get to the root easily without doing so, but this extra addition can make your mascara application a lot better. I tend not to love rubber or silicone applicators because I feel they don't make the lashes look light and fluffy. Unlimited, however, separates them, lengthens, and volumizes without weighing them down. It's a creamy formula that coats the lashes without lumping them together and with no flakes. Because what's worse than a flake, in both mascara and your social life?

Keep reading to see the Parisian photo shoot of the bottle, plus how it looks with both one coat and two coats on the lashes.

You Have to See Ashley Graham's Skin in Revlon's Empowering New Campaign

Ashley Graham is the face of Revlon's new "I Can. So I Did." campaign, and its message is inspiring.

The brand is releasing a series of videos and photography with beauty confessions from its ambassadors - including Graham, Gal Gadot, Adwoa Aboah, and Eniola Abioro - to inspire women to feel comfortable in their own skin. Graham, who is known for her unapologetic confidence, talks about how she loves to keep it natural with her makeup in her video snippet.

The campaign surrounds Revlon's PhotoReady Candid Collection - a line of antioxidant-packed products that feel weightless with their skin-like finish. "We want to give women the confidence to be themselves and turn their potential into achievement - big or small - and motivate others to live boldly and hold nothing back," Silvia Galfo, Revlon's global brand president, said in a press release.

Ahead, see behind-the-scenes shots of Graham.

The 1 Acne Product I Use When My Skin Has a Case of the Winter Blues

If I had a dime for every time somebody asked me, "What's that green sh*t you always have on your face?," then I would probably have enough dimes for a lifetime supply of said green sh*t, the Yon-Ka Masque 105 ($48).

I was first introduced to Yon-Ka Masque 105 by my facialist five years ago with zits on my chin and the skin around my nose peeling off, and not a day has gone by that I haven't used it since. I have combination skin, meaning while my skin is generally very oily - like pizza, a boy once told me in high school - that does not stop it from peeling like a banana in the cold weather. Masque 105 is a clarifying mask for dry and sensitive skin that addresses this wintry mix of skin issues.

Scroll ahead for the full review of Yon-Ka Masque 105, plus my thoughts on some of the brand's other products that might work for you, too.

This Hemp-Infused Face Mist Cleared Up My Skin in Weeks, and You Should See the Rest of the Line

Winters in New Jersey are pretty brutal for the most part. Between the wind, freezing temperatures, and freak days of warm weather, my skin has taken a beating. Compound that with running outside for a few hours a week, and my naturally oily skin is usually completely dry and sometimes even broken out.

Over the last year, I've tried to revive, er, begin developing a skincare routine I can stick to. I've been lucky enough to try dozens of products - thank you, POPSUGAR beauty closet - that I've introduced into my nightly ritual that usually involves a toner, moisturizer, serum, eye cream, and sometimes even face oil, if necessary.

And while I love to mix and match products that work for my skin specifically, recently, I've been able to find everything in one place thanks to a brand called Mary's Nutritionals. Infused with full-spectrum activated hemp extract, the line nourishes and evens out your skin without being too harsh or overly rich.

Anyone who's eager to dip their toe into the world of hemp-based beauty products can work an Illuminating Face Moisturizer ($95), Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($95), and Restorative Eye Cream ($65) into their rotation, no sweat. But far and away my favorite product in the line is the Burn-Out Topical Mist ($45), and believe it or not, I stumbled upon its seemingly magical powers accidentally. After being sent a giant box of CBD products at work, I took one look at the sleek metal bottle and thought, "Oh wow, that will be so refreshing after the gym."

Little did I know, the mist was actually chock-full of natural ingredients that made my skin glow after a few weeks of use, including aloe vera, lavender, German blue chamomile, melaleuca, and - of course - hemp extract. (And yes, I did spray something directly on my face week after week without actually knowing its true purpose; judge me.)

And while substances like aloe vera and lavender are widely known as being great for your complexion, hemp extract - or oil, depending on the product - is also known for its overwhelming positive effects. For starters, it's a natural anti-inflammatory, and it also works as a moisturizer - containing omega-3, -6, and -9 fatty acids - which actually mimics the amounts proportionate to your skin. It also has vitamins A, C, and E, which can help protect your skin from the elements.

Regardless of my intent, the nifty little spray has done wonders for my skin. The days of dry, uneven skin are officially in the rearview mirror, and my breakouts (hello, chin zits) have all but disappeared. And the best part of my experience? My complexion without makeup is about a zillion times better. For the first time in a long time, I actually went to the gym without any makeup on. A big win in the self-confidence department.

Glossier's Milky Jelly Cleanser Now Comes as Eye Makeup Remover, and We Have Thoughts

When Glossier launches new products, the skincare loving world holds its breath. We don't think about whether we need more skin care (because don't we all?); we're probably going to buy it anyway. Meet Glossier Milky Oil Waterproof Makeup Remover ($12), the eye makeup version of Glossier's Milky Jelly Cleanser ($18).

As an avid user of Milky Jelly Cleanser (I'm onto my fourth bottle of the stuff), when I found out about the new makeup remover version, I knew I had to try it. And although the product wasn't groundbreaking (who else holds Glossier to certain exception standards?), it definitely delivered on its promises.

Starting with the positives, the first thing I loved was, of course, the packaging. Not only does it have the same millennial look as every other product from the brand, it's also travel-friendly at 100 ml. Milky Oil delivers on its promise to work well on waterproof makeup and also contains castor oil, which is great for keeping lashes conditioned. However, as it is so conditioning, it did leave my eyes feeling a little greasy postremoval, but this was nothing a splash of Milky Jelly Cleanser didn't solve when cleansing the rest of my face.

The biggest downfall of the Milky Oil in my opinion was how quickly I used up a considerable amount of it. It takes a lot of product to saturate a cotton pad, so I'd suggest using a cloth or Face Halo to use minimal product with maximum removal. If you're traveling, it will soon become your favorite skincare companion (pair it with the mini Milky Jelly Cleanser, and it's a dream duo); however, if you're using the product at home, you might work your way through it quicker than other eye makeup removers, particularly if like me, you're fond of a glittery cat eye on a daily basis. All in all, the product delivered on its promise to be a conditioning waterproof eye makeup remover that will secure a place in my travel must haves. Bonus points for the product being vegan and gluten-free.

This Wedding Is a Spectacular Ode to Iconic Movies - From Disney Classics to Ghostbusters

If you're going to have a wedding, why not include some Easter eggs from your favorite movies? That's exactly what Nycole and Jorge did when they tied the knot in a wildly entertaining ceremony at the Loft on Pine in Long Beach, CA. "From the Ghostbusters invites, outfits, and gadgets to the Disney seating chart, seat tickets, and knickknacks, this wedding was filled with personality and definitely spoke to who they were as a couple!" said their wedding photographer from Our Story Creative.

Keep your eyes peeled for all the hidden details at this wedding, like the many references to the Pixar movie Up. If you grew up in the '80s, you'll especially appreciate the throwbacks to movies from that era, like Back to the Future and Gremlins. The couple even got their hands on a proton pack from the Ghostbusters franchise and used it in their shoot. The Ghostbusters theme continued later on in the wedding when the groomsmen traded their sharp suits for beige jumpsuits as an ode to the iconic foursome. The Super Snow Moon Is the Biggest and Brightest Event of 2019 - and It's Tonight!

Cancel any plans you had to finish binging the rest of Russian Doll tonight, because space is gracing us with another celestial wonder: a second 2019 super moon! The super snow moon - aptly named because February is one of the snowiest months of the year - is expected to really light up the sky tonight. In fact, compared to January's super blood wolf moon (which was totally a real thing, BTW), tonight's moon will be an entire 362 miles closer to Earth, according to NASA.

So what's so special about a super moon? Well, tonight's moon is something to get excited about because it will be at its biggest and brightest, appearing almost 14 percent larger and nearly 30 percent brighter than a typical moon. As explained by NASA astronomer Mitzi Adams, super moons appear largest as they are rising and setting due to an optical illusion known as the "Moon Illusion." This occurs when everyday objects like trees and buildings are nearby, and our minds trick us into thinking the moon is closer because of its proximity to the objects in our line of sight. So the moon isn't actually further away when it's right above you, but it will definitely look a lot more like a super moon if you can pull out your phone to snap a pic just as it's rising into the sky.

Because of the nature of the snow moon, it's possible that the snowy weather just might come between you and this wow-worthy celestial moment. If you don't want to miss out on the lunar spectacular, you can visit Virtual Telescope, based in Rome, for a real-time glimpse at the moon, starting at 11:30 p.m. ET, or check out Slooh starting at 7 p.m. ET.

And, if you miss out on tonight's full moon, don't worry; a third super moon is expected to make an appearance in March 2019!

Red, Yellow, or Blue? Here's What Each Rose Color Means For Your Relationship

Giving roses to someone can say many different things - I'm sorry, I love you, cheer up, thank you, and so on. And choosing roses for all of these occasions isn't surprising. They're beautiful, they smell amazing, and they come in a ton of different colors. But did you know that each color actually has a very specific meaning? Yeah, so if you were thinking of giving someone special a bouquet of roses, you might want to make sure the color isn't actually appropriate for funerals (queue the awkward silence). Keep reading to see a breakdown of what every color means, so you're armed with the right information and ready to purchase.

  • Red: Traditional red roses definitely hint at love and romance, so if you got them from your significant other, things are looking good. They also signify beauty and perfection.
  • Pink: Gentler in shade than their red counterparts, pink roses have many meanings, including admiration, gratitude, elegance, gracefulness, and joy.
  • Yellow: As you would expect from such a bright, cheerful color, yellow roses convey cheer and joy and are a great flower to express friendship (i.e. these are NOT what you want your significant other to send you!).
  • Dark Crimson: This deeper color is appropriate for funerals, as it conveys grief and sorrow.
  • White: White is the color of purity, so it's no surprise that white roses represent innocence. They go along with the white dress at many weddings, where they also symbolize new beginnings.
  • Orange: Someone may be looking to spice things up with fiery orange roses, which are traditionally the color of passion and desire.
  • Blue: You may be someone's secret crush if you receive a bouquet of blue roses, which represent mystery and intrigue.
  • Peach: These "thank-you" roses are the perfect way to show appreciation or gratitude.
  • Lavender: If you receive a bouquet of lavender roses, things could get very interesting, as they represent love at first sight.
  • Salmon: With a hue that falls somewhere between orange and peach, salmon roses symbolize desire and excitement and are a great choice for a new relationship.
  • Purple: It was Prince's favorite color for a reason - in addition to its associations with pride and enchantment, the purple rose also has ties to royalty.
  • Burgundy: They might be a little too subdued for romantic holidays like Valentine's Day, but burgundy roses, which represent "unconscious beauty," are a great choice for Wintertime decorations.

25 Ideas Perfect For Your Date Night Jar

Date nights are great in theory, but once you've been with your partner for a significant period of time, coming up with different ways to keep things fun can be a little hard. While the idea of a date night jar might not sound exhilarating, it's actually been the best way my husband and I ensure we still get alone time and try new things while we're at it. And the best part about having a jar is you can customize it to fit your and your partner's needs, as many times as you want.

Once you have a standard mason jar and a package of popsicle sticks (or just a bunch of pieces of scrap paper), both of you write a handful of date night ideas that you want to do and add them to the jar. You can also color-code them, using one color for at-home dates, another for adventurous dates, etc. When your next date night comes around, just pull a stick from the jar and do whatever it tells you to do. Not only is this a great way to experience things your partner enjoys, but having the jar visible in your home will definitely inspire you to do more things together. Keep reading for 25 ideas that are perfect for your date night jar.

Meghan Markle Traded Her Classic Heels For Sleek Boots, 'Cause She's City Chic At Heart

When Meghan Markle said goodbye to the US for her new life as a royal, she left behind some pretty big chic shoes to fill. Luckily, the Duchess of Sussex touched back down in NYC this past weekend and she brought her spot-on fashion picks back across the pond. Just hours after showing off a look worthy of Charlotte York for her baby shower, Meghan changed into an equally stylish outfit for dinner with her close friends, Serena Williams and Markus Anderson. Meghan opted for a Victoria Beckham cashmere coat, a Stella McCartney tote, a black scarf, and a pair of mid-calf Tamara Mellon boots ($695). See more snaps of her ensemble ahead, and shop similar styles of boots for yourself.

Look Back at Some of the Wildest Met Gala Themes Over the Years

Forget Halloween - the biggest night for costumes every year is the Met Gala. The annual event, a fundraising gala for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, brings out the biggest stars of fashion and Hollywood to New York City for a glamorous, glittering evening. Although it's often talked about as a night of high fashion (and it definitely is!), the Met Gala is, at its heart, simply the coolest costume party of all time.

Every year, the gala has a different theme, and attendees are encouraged to interpret the theme however they choose. Though the ball has been taking place for decades, modern themes have ranged from the straightforward (honoring a specific designer, for instance) to the wild. Ahead of 2019's "Camp"-themed ball, take a look at some of the previous themes from recent years.
