Not Sure How to Clean an Area Rug? Keep 'em Looking Brand New With These 4 Steps
Area rugs can add a lot of style and function to almost any room. Put one in your kitchen to keep your feet comfortable while you're cooking or doing the dishes; make one the focal point of your living room while amping up the coziness; or put one next to your bed so you feel the plush, soft comfort when you swing your feet onto the floor every morning. And, of course, they can help you distract from that ugly flooring in your rental. But while area rugs are useful and beautiful, they're not immune to mess, and can attract all manner of grime, crumbs, spills, stains, and dust. The good news is, because they're so portable, they're pretty easy to clean with the right know-how. Here's what you need to do.
1. Vacuum Both Sides
With carpet, you can only vacuum one side, potentially pushing dust and crumbs further into the fibers rather than sucking them up. An area rug, on the other hand, can be vacuumed more thoroughly on both sides. Vacuum the fiber side first, then flip it over and vacuum the back. If it's still dusty and you have some outdoor space, you can hang it over a railing and gently knock the remaining dust out with a broom handle.
2. Wash the Rug With Carpet Shampoo
To give your rug a good, deep clean, wash it with a carpet shampoo. First, test out the shampoo on a discreet area of the rug to check that it's safe for the color and fibers of your rug. You should let the shampoo sit for a couple of hours to be sure. When you know the shampoo is safe, dampen your rug with clean water. Then, with a sturdy brush, work the shampoo into the carpet, paying special attention to stained areas. (Note: This method is best for low-pile rugs, and DIY washing your shag rug this way isn't a good idea. Leave shag rugs or other expensive rugs to a professional to prevent damage!)
3. Rinse the Rug
Once you've worked out all of the stains and dirt from your rug with the brush and shampoo, read the shampoo instructions and, if they say so, leave the shampoo to sit for a while. After this period of time, rinse your rug thoroughly. Carpet shampoo, much like hair shampoo, can leave a residue that will leave your rugs sticky, dull, and looking dirty.
4. Let the Rug Dry
Rugs can take a long time to dry depending on their thickness and material that they're made of, so we wouldn't recommend washing your rugs right before having dozens of people over for a dinner party. To dry your rug, first wring out as much excess water as you can. Then, hang it to dry in an area where it will be protected and undisturbed, like a garage or laundry room. It may take a day or longer to dry, but it's important to be patient and let it dry completely before putting it back in place. Finally, vacuum your rug one more time to bring the tufts and fibers back to life.

Out of My Way - Cotton Candy Grapes Are Back at Trader Joe's!
If you haven't done so already, go ahead and assemble your tag team for your next trip to Trader Joe's, because cotton candy grapes are officially back on shelves, and we'd hate for you to miss out on this golden opportunity to snag some. Cotton candy grapes are seedless green grapes that taste exactly like the hand-spun sugar clouds you used to eat at carnivals as a kid. They're a hybrid version of different grape vines and they're normally only sold during the Summer months, between August and September.
For the past few years, they've been a huge hit in grocery stores like Trader Joe's, Costco, Whole Foods, and Wegmans. Luckily for us, the grapes arrived at Trader Joe's early this year, and people are already going crazy for them. "This is the first year I have found them at Trader Joe's and bonus this early in the season. I brought a package home and OMG they are so sweet!" one happy shopper wrote on Instagram.
According to another user who spotted packages on shelves in her local store, they're being sold for $5.50 a pound. If you're looking for a way to satisfy your sweet tooth, you might want to run to Trader Joe's as quickly as you can.
We're Squealing Over This Adorable Soup Dumpling Nightlight
If you're a fan of all things cute and tiny, then chances are that you're familiar with kawaii culture. But if you aren't, the Japanese cultural style that embraces bright colors, cartoon animals, and putting adorable faces on inanimate objects is so fun. And a perfect example of kawaii is this Little B Dumpling Ambient Light ($12, originally $17) from Smoko. Whether your little one is afraid of the dark, or you just want a cuter way to help your guests find their way to the bathroom at night, we couldn't think of a better late-night companion.
Little B, Smoko's latest Dim Sum series character (Dim Sum being bite-size portions of food served in steamer baskets or little plates), is a Xiao Long Bao, or soup dumpling. Measuring four inches in height and made of soft silicone material, Little B is happy to perch just about anywhere you want to put him. He runs on batteries, but he's equipped with a one-hour auto shut-off feature to help your batteries last as long as possible.
Smoko is known for its super-kawaii (and super affordable) gifts and accessories, and this little guy is the perfect way to add a little light and whimsy to your home. We dare you to look at Little B's face and try to keep from squealing (or from feeling a sudden craving for Dim Sum).
6 Reasons Every Woman Should Live Alone at Least Once in Her Life
I'll be honest - I never thought I would be the type of person who enjoyed living alone. Since I've always loved being around other people, the thought of renting an apartment on my own sounded isolating and lonely. All four years of college, I shared a roof with either two or three other girls, and after I graduated, I moved in with my then-boyfriend and his brother. I always had someone to talk to, eat dinner with, and make me feel more secure if I heard strange noises in the middle of the night.
The following year, I signed a 13-month lease on a one-bedroom apartment with the same boyfriend, thinking if we got a place of our own, some of the issues in our relationship would dissipate. Not even four weeks elapsed before it became painfully clear - this wasn't where I wanted to be. And not the apartment, but the relationship. Maybe it was out of guilt, but when I finally gathered up the courage to break things off, I let him be the one to move out.
I'll never forget that feeling. I was 23 and freshly single, and not only was I stuck for another 12 months in an apartment I couldn't afford on my own, but I was now living by myself - something I swore I never had a desire to do. Over the course of the next year, I would surprise myself, not only with my ability to change a hard-to-reach light bulb or investigate late-night noises, but also with my own capability and courage. And 12 months later, I knew I was a stronger and more independent woman than the girl who signed the lease.
I firmly believe every woman should experience living alone at least once in her life. Here's why.
1. Being Alone Didn't Mean I Was Lonely
I was accustomed to coming home to someone and almost always having a breakfast buddy on the weekends. I assumed that walking through the door of an empty apartment would feel lonesome, and I feared the sound of silence. I actually spent the first few nights of my solitary living situation at my best friend's house, not yet ready to tackle a night on my own. When I finally gathered the courage to go all in, I realized that a one-bedroom apartment wasn't a jail cell. If I wanted to be surrounded by people, I invited friends over or met them out. I blared music when I was cooking or doing chores. I found that I could still have standing breakfast dates when I wanted them, but I also quickly learned that breakfast for one wasn't so bad, either. Feeling "lonely" rarely happened; I saw people when I wanted, and I stayed in when I chose to be alone.
2. I Learned to Face My Fears
I've always been someone who jumps at the tiniest creak in the middle of the night. To be totally candid, even as an adult, I thought I wouldn't be able to sleep if I didn't have someone else under the same roof. During the first few nights, I didn't sleep very well, and I must have checked under the bed or behind the shower curtain at least 10 times each. As it turned out, I just needed a little practice, and the fear of sleeping alone did eventually go away. After a couple anxious nights, I put on my big-girl pants, bought a nightlight, dead-bolted my door, and slept soundly.
3. I Felt Empowered and Self-Sufficient
This apartment was beautiful and a huge step above my college accommodations (no community beer pong table in the common area), but I only chose it because I thought I would have someone to split the expense. When I took over the lease, I had no idea how I would manage the high rent on my (very) meager salary. I was forced to figure it out, and I did. I created a budget for the first time in my life and got a second job working nights in a clothing store. Not only was I able to afford the rent, I was even able to shuffle money away each month into a savings account. I came home every night, looked around at the home I created, and felt proud.
4. I Learned How to Take Care of Myself
In the past, anytime my shower was clogged or I bought a new piece of furniture that needed assembly, there was always someone else present to help. When I bought a new bed right after my boyfriend moved out, I called a couple male friends to help, but it was the middle of the day and no one was free. Rather than wait, I decided to roll up my sleeves and figure out how to put it together myself. And I did it! Yes, I used piles of folded t-shirts to hold the frame upright while I tightened the screws, but I pulled it off. Honestly, I'll never forget that sense of accomplishment. I once thought I needed help with any laborious tasks around the house, but I learned that I was perfectly capable of handling most of them on my own.
5. There's Double the Closet Space
Every single closet, cabinet, and storage space was absolutely mine, and there was no one around to tell me that I owned too many pairs of shoes.
6. I Got to Know (and Love) Myself Better
I'm not sure why the prospect of spending more time with myself intimidated me. I learned that I was a pretty damn awesome person to hang out with. I also began to spend more time doing things to better myself - writing creatively, reading more books, taking online classes, even meditating. At a time in my life marked by confusion and uncertainty, I developed a deeper sense of love and awareness with myself.

The Best Thing My Mom Taught Me About Cooking
I was fortunate enough to grow up in a house where my mom cooked for our family of six just about every night. My mom is Italian and grew up with seven sisters and two brothers in New York, so her knack for cooking and love of food likely stemmed from sitting down to home-cooked meals with a family of 12 on a regular basis. You could say she knows a thing or two (thousand) about cooking.
Now that I'm an adult and love cooking just as much as she does (I even get paid to write about food!), I'm always trying to master the art of cooking as a 20-something on a budget. I rely on my mom's passed-down knowledge more than I could have imagined, and while she taught me plenty of recipes (everything I know about pasta, I owe it to her) and has answered an embarrassing number of my midcooking-panic questions over the phone, there's one solid piece of cooking advice that has stuck with me the most:
You can make something out of nothing.
As in, you don't need a recipe to cook something, and you don't have to have a full pantry and fridge to get dinner on the table. My mom is the queen of pulling scraps from the fridge and freezer and seemingly magically turning them into a cohesive, family-approved meal. If she had a dollar for every time one of her kids asked her, "What's for dinner?" she'd definitely be a millionaire, and what I didn't know growing up was that a lot of times she didn't even know what was for dinner as she began making dinner. But lo and behold, she'd make it happen. She'd usually aim to combine some type of protein with a starch and a vegetable, even if that meant throwing everything in a dish and baking it in the oven. My dad has lovingly and hilariously named these creations "bakes." "Oooh, what do we have here, a cheesy chicken bake?" he'll say if he peers into the oven and sees a casserole dish filled with various unidentifiable ingredients. And you know what? They were always delicious.
Thanks to my mom's ability to improvise, my family rarely resorted to takeout and instead had much healthier and more budget-friendly dinners, and I think this is a mantra that everyone can benefit from. While sometimes you might quite literally have nothing to work with, there are staples you should always have on hand that make this "no recipe" cooking method a lot easier: eggs (you can put anything in an omelet), chicken (keep it in the freezer and defrost the day you plan to use it), pasta (the ultimate blank-canvas ingredient), and frozen vegetables (no need to always buy fresh at the risk of letting them go bad). Also, save everything (that quarter of an onion will come in handy the next time you sauté garlic or want to add caramelized onions to something).
So now whenever I open my fridge and see a few random jars, some partially wilted spinach, and leftover chicken, I don't think, "time to go out." I think, "what would my mom make?"

Starting in 2021, Americans Will Need to Register in Order to Travel to Europe
Planning that spontaneous trip to Europe might become a bit more complicated in the next two years, thanks to some required extra paperwork.
Beginning in 2021, US visitors will have to go through a new online pretravel registration with the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) to visit 26 European countries, including Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain. While it doesn't apply to every European country, it does apply to countries in the Schengen area, which include countries that let people move between them freely and don't have internal borders. England and Ireland are not included.
The new travel procedure requires a short online application form and will cost roughly $8. The ETIAS was proposed by the European Commission in 2016, but it was officially approved last year. The application will include personal biometric questions (such as name and date of birth), passport information, and questions about the applicant's health, criminal record, and any previous European immigration history.
Once complete, the authorization is valid for three years, meaning you won't have to keep reregistering for multiple trips to Europe within that three-year time frame. Right now, Americans are allowed to travel to these countries for less than 90 days with no prior screening.
But this is also not the same thing as needing a visa, so don't worry. "The ETIAS authorization is not a visa," the European Commission said in an information sheet last Summer. "Nationals of visa liberalization countries will continue to travel the EU without a visa, but will simply be required to obtain a travel authorization via ETIAS prior to their travel. ETIAS will be a simple, fast, and visitor-friendly system, which will, in more than 95 percent of cases, result in a positive answer within a few minutes."
So, there you have it. That trip to Europe is still totally possible, just with one extra (and simple) step.

James Corden's Hilarious Prank on David Beckham Will Make You Nostalgic For Punk'd
James Corden is no stranger to pranks. The actor and presenter has plenty of experience both playing them and being the subject of them, but he took things to new heights when he spent two months preparing to take down David Beckham. As LA Galaxy prepared to reveal a statue dedicated to their most famous former player, James and his The Late Late Show with James Corden colleagues decided to prepare their own - slightly less flattering - version, and swap it out with the real thing. Add in some very rude "fans" and one very passionate sculptor, and you've got the recipe for one very awkward reveal. As David himself said, "It's lucky my kids are not coming over, because if my kids were to see this, I think they'd just cry, to be honest!" Watch the video to see it all unfold and to see David's reaction when he realizes he's been pranked.

"It's definitely something we've talked about, yeah," Cassie said of any plans for an engagement. "I mean, nothing is holding me back right now." Colton chimed in, saying, "We still have a lot of conversations to have and room to grow . . . we're having fun dating right now."
Honestly, that's a beautifully healthy place for a couple to be when they've only be exclusively dating for such a short time! At the end of the finale, Colton gave Cassie a symbolic final rose on stage and Chris Harrison gifted the couple with a lavish vacation in Thailand (the country where they had their first one-on-one date).
Once Bachelor Nation was satisfied with Cassie and Colton's happy ending, Chris Harrison introduced us all to the next Bachelorette: Hannah Brown! The former Miss Alabama was adorably awestruck by her new title. "I feel all the emotions, but honestly, I'm just really grateful for this opportunity," she said.
But it wasn't enough to just introduce us to our new Bachelorette - Chris told Hannah that she would actually be meeting her first five contestants that very night! The stage was quickly transformed for an "impromptu" rose ceremony, and Chris gave a brief pep talk worthy of any varsity coach encouraging his team before the all-important final game. Hannah was visibly nervous but totally game to meet the first five of her 30 suitors, one of whom actually made a rap for her! We wonder if he compared notes with Hannah G.?
Following along with Colton's theme of straying from the norm, Hannah decided to give away her first rose that very night, which has never happened before! Cam the Rapper snagged the rose and possibly even a bit of Hannah's heart. It's safe to say that he will definitely be the one to watch when The Bachelorette returns to ABC on Monday, May 13!
Now That Cassie Is No Longer Starring on The Bachelor, Here's What Keeps Her Busy
The Bachelor's two-part season finale was not only an emotional roller coaster, but it narrowed down leading man Colton Underwood's final choice: Cassie Randolph! He repeatedly told Cassie - who's been a front runner for quite some time now - that he's all in, saying, "I care for you, I love you, I want it to be you at the end of this." Although they didn't end up engaged at the end of the show, they're still happily together.
Now that we know Colton and Cassie ended up together, what will Cassie be up to offscreen when she's done with the first flurry of interviews about her new boo? (Assuming she turns down all those Fit Tea and waist trainer sponsorships that are likely pouring in as we speak, of course.)
Seeing as she's just 23-years-old, the Young Once star (yep, she was on ANOTHER reality show) is in the process of kicking off her career as a speech pathologist. Cassie is a California girl, having grown up on the Golden Coast. She still resides in the state, having put down roots in Huntington Beach, where she's an avid surfer. But when she's not in the water, she's in school completing her graduate degree so she can become a licensed speech pathologist.
If you find it odd that someone would have competed to find a forever partner at such a young age, also keep in mind that Colton is one of the youngest Bachelors in the show's history (he's now 27). Also, not for nothing, it's not surprising that they ended up hand-in-hand by the finale since Colton was clearly smitten with her from the very beginning.
It will be interesting to see where Cassie ends up now that she's officially entered the Bachelor Nation machine - will she stay in grad school? Or start a podcast dedicated to all things Bachelor and Bachelorette>? Or become a fit-fluencer? We have a feeling we'll be getting an update soon.
Who Is Cam From The Bachelorette? He Already Won the First Rose of the Season
Tuesday night's finale of The Bachelor included some sneak peeks of The Bachelorette's upcoming season, and it looks like fans are in for a wild ride. Hannah B., the newly announced Bachelorette star, got to meet a few of the men who'll be vying for her heart. And one of them, Cam, went home with a rose before the season even started.
Cam definitely had the most original entrance planned for his meeting with Hannah. He wrote his own rap about her (even though Hannah G. was the self-professed rapper on Colton's Bachelor season), even throwing in a "Roll tide!" at the end.
ABC hasn't shared contestant profiles for all of Hannah's suitors just yet, but several outlets have shared lists of some of the new Bachelorette contestants. It looks like Cam's full name is Cameron Ayala, and he's a proud Aggie, aka a Texas A&M alumni, as he shared during The Bachelor's finale.
Cam's Instagram account is private - at least as of now. His Twitter account is public, but there aren't any tweets posted after April 2015. Still, there's some info fans can glean from his older Twitter posts. It looks like Cam is a big fan of Ryan Gosling and of Mad Men. And Cam is from Austin, TX, as he told Hannah on The Bachelor. Could she fall for a fellow Southerner?
Cam also suffers from lymphedema, according to the International Business Times. The condition causes swelling in arms or legs, and there's no cure for it, according to Mayo Clinic. But it looks like Cam hasn't let the condition stop him from living a full life, including joining The Bachelorette.
Obviously, there's still a lot more viewers have to learn about Cam and the other Bachelorette contestants when season 15 premieres on May 13. Until then, fans can keep debating whether or not Cam's rapping skills were actually good, though they obviously won Hannah over.
Shameless: Fiona's Shirt in the Season 9 Finale Is a Full-Circle Moment For Her Character
The cast of Shameless has come a long way since the season one premiere in 2011. Not only have the Gallaghers grown as a family together, but Fiona's sense of self has also evolved. Luckily, she hasn't gotten rid of one very important layered shirt. During Emmy Rossum's final episode in the season nine finale, eagle-eyed fans were quick to notice that she wore the same shirt in the series premiere. It's a full-circle moment as the wildly powerful Fiona packs her bags and boards a train out of the South Side of Chicago, leaving the only life she's ever known behind. Fans were absolutely (and understandably) emotional about her bittersweet departure.
It's moments like this that make us think about just how far the family has come since the pilot episode. Over the course of that very first hour of the show, Fiona meets Jimmy-slash-Steve after her purse gets stolen, Lip finds out Ian is gay, Frank reveals just how low he can sink, and overall, we have no idea how much is about to change for the family. Little did we know that 110 episodes later, Fiona would be heading out of town with a suitcase wearing that same beloved shirt.
Ahead, see how fans are reacting to the full-circle moment for Fiona Gallagher.
Colton Ended His Season of The Bachelor With a Bang (Not That Kind), and Fans Have a Lot to Say
Well, Bachelor Nation, it finally happened. Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor has drawn to a close, and it's been a whirlwind. We have been through so much this season, from jumping fences, mysterious chinjuries, and even missing contestants! We're no Chris Harrison, but we feel like it's safe to say this has been one of the most dramatic seasons of The Bachelor so far. So, of course, it couldn't end without the most theatrical finale to cap it all off!
The finale picked up right where we left Colton: brokenhearted after being dumped once again, but this time by the front runner of his heart, Cassie Randolph. After his solo jaunt through the Portuguese wild, Colton had to face his remaining contestants. It was pretty obvious from the start that his heart wasn't with them - poor Hannah G. didn't even get a Fantasy Suite date! It took a consultation with his father and some deep thinking before Colton came to the conclusion that we all knew was coming but were still a little shocked by: Cassie is ultimately the one for him, and he can't let her go. So, like the Prince Charming he strives to be, Colton went after Cassie to win her over.
Despite the concerns and reservations she previously had about their relationship, Cassie eventually realized that she loved Colton, and the two officially reunited. There's no ring (yet), but from the looks of Colton's newest gym buddy, we have to say that the two are still going strong. Even Bachelor Nation can't deny that it's a truly fitting finale for the wildest season of The Bachelor! Check out how the show's fans are reacting to the end of this season and how everyone is excited for Hannah B.'s season of The Bachelorette to begin!
Hannah G. Wrote a "Bachelor Rap" About Colton Dumping Her, and It's Really . . . Something
Hannah G., everyone. 🔥 #TheBachelorFinale pic.twitter.com/rnBpjIGHwA
- E! News (@enews) March 13, 2019
One of the most gutting scenes in The Bachelor's season finale involved leading man Colton Underwood and one of his final three contestants: Hannah Godwin. Even though Colton acknowledged that they shared a special bond, he realized that he was actually in love with Cassie Randolph and broke things off with Hannah during an emotional chat that left both of them in tears. Now, the newly single Hannah appears to have channeled her feelings about the whole thing into . . . a rap. Yes, a rap.
On Tuesday night, E! News shared a video of the Alabama native spitting rhymes about her experience on the show, and it's really quite something.
"Hey, what's up, my name is Hannah G. / Let me tell you 'bout something that happened to me," she raps, standing barefoot in what appears to be a gym locker room. "Was doing well on The Bachelor, got the first impression rose / Had some steamy makeout scenes, but the ending really blows."
Make sure you watch the video above to see Hannah make a d*ck joke AND attempt to hop a fence of her own. After the way Colton's season ended, we could all use a laugh, right?
The Bachelorette: Here's Where to Follow Hannah Brown's Suitors on Social Media
Hannah Brown went from feuding beauty queen to the star of The Bachelorette. This Southern lady is looking for a man who will wholeheartedly support her love of pageants, Alabama Crimson Tide football, and her golden retriever, Roscoe. These days, you never know how a season of the ABC dating show is going to end. We've seen just about every twist and turn there is! But we hope that Hannah's closes with her getting a proposal from the love of her life. And who is that person? Well, if the journey works as it does, it will be one of these guys. Unfortunately, they set most of their social media accounts to "private" before their debut on The Bachelor, but contestants will usually reset them to "public" before or shortly after the premiere of their season. For now, here are their handles - check back in a bit to see if the feed is visible again!
On My Block Season 2 Drops on Netflix at the End of March - Watch the New Trailer!
A brand new trailer for On My Block season two has arrived, and with it comes a few answers to the first season's tragic cliffhangers, and a much happier resolution to the show's dramatic teaser.
While we're still a little confused about some aspects of the show's return, we no longer have to worry about Ruby's fate - he's alive and well in the trailer, cracking plenty of jokes and busting a few dance moves. The new footage also confirms that the season two episodes will drop on Netflix on March 29, which will see Monse, Ruby, Jamal, and Cesar overcoming tragedy to deal with Jamal's discovery, as well as the "triumph, pain, and the newness of high school set in the rough inner city."
What does it all mean, Netflix?! Luckily we won't have to wait too long to find out.

Hannah B.'s Season of The Bachelorette Will Arrive Just in Time to Heat Up Your Summer
Because we'll take any excuse to take our minds off of Colton Underwood's emotional roller coaster of a finale of his season of The Bachelor, we're already setting our sites on the franchise's new Bachelorette: Hannah Brown!
After Colton rode off into the sunset with Cassie Randolph, Chris Harrison announced that the former Miss Alabama would indeed be ABC's next star of The Bachelorette. While she's definitely a surprising choice - some fans were hoping for either Tayshia or Hannah G., both of whom Colton blindsided with breakups at the end of his season - there's no stopping Hannah now. Like she told Chris during the "Women Tell All" episode, she's on her way to finding "a fierce love," and at the very least, it promises to be an exciting season. Fortunately, we won't have to wait too long to watch it all happen.
The Bachelorette will return to ABC on Monday, May 13. (It's just a few short months away, right? You can do it!) The reality competition usually premieres around that time, with Becca Kufrin's season kicking off nearly a full year before, on May 28. To kill time while you wait, we recommend checking out the first five suitors for her season that we've been introduced to so far!

This Is Us Reveals the Fate of Kate and Her Baby, and It's All Too Much to Take
Warning: spoilers for This Is Us ahead!
This Is Us really knows how to keep us on our toes. After Kate goes into early labor, emotions are heightened as the Pearson family sits together in the waiting room. Randall and Beth are fighting about their work, Kevin is grappling with his alcoholism, and poor Miguel is just trying to lighten the mood with a fun game. Following everyone's constant bickering, Rebecca finally speaks up and tells them to shut up and put their main focus on Kate.
After what seems like an eternity of waiting, we finally get an update on Kate and her baby. Spoiler: they are both fine! Though Toby and Kate's son is very premature, the emergency C-section went well and he's currently recuperating. The two go to visit their son as he sleeps in an incubator, and that's when the waterworks start!
Following some careful consideration, Kate tells Toby she really wants to name their child Jack, to which he agrees. She then prays to her dad and asks him to watch over their son and protect him. While Kate and Toby definitely have a long road ahead of them as first-time parents, it was certainly a sweet touch to have their son named after Kate's late father.
The Bachelor: After All the Drama, Here's Where Cassie and Colton's Relationship Stands
After Cassie left Colton on The Bachelor, it wasn't clear whether or not they had a future together as a couple. Now, fans know that the two of them are in love - but they're not engaged just yet. Colton gave Cassie a symbolic "final rose" at the live show on Tuesday, but there wasn't a proposal. It sounds like the couple are just enjoying dating and taking their relationship one step at a time.
Still, even though they're not engaged, it sounds like the two of them are on more equal footing now than they were during the show's filming. In a clip of Colton and Cassie's relationship post-Spain, Cassie read him one of her old diary entries she'd written on the show. It was clear how much she felt for him, even back then - and she added a new message about her current feelings, too. "I want you to know that I love you more than anything, and I feel like the luckiest girl in the world," Cassie said to Colton in the clip.
During the live show, Cassie also told Chris Harrison that engagement is "definitely something we've talked about," referring to her and Colton. The couple also shared that Colton has moved to Los Angeles to be closer to Cassie, but they aren't living together just yet.
And as for the question that The Bachelor's been incessant about - to the point of being really uncomfortable - this season, it sounds like Colton is no longer a virgin. He didn't share details about his and Cassie's fantasy suite or their physical relationship after the show's filming, but he also didn't deny that something's happened between them.
Frankly, it's not fans' business (and never was), but the finale in particular really wouldn't let the topic go. Hopefully, now that these two are free to share their love without the cameras rolling, the discussion surrounding Colton's virginity is long in the past.
Chris Harrison Called This Bachelor Finale the "Most Dramatic Ending Ever" - He Might Be Right
Though it may have seemed like we were never going to make it to this point, this is it, fam! Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor is officially over. Considering how much of a roller coaster this season has been, it's no surprise that the finale was as drama-packed as two, two-hour episodes could be. Not only did Colton have the producers racing after him through the Portuguese countryside, but he also made a huge decision early in the episode that changed the course of the entire finale. Keep reading for some of the biggest moments from Monday and Tuesday's two-night finale.
Yes, Colton Picked Cassie on The Bachelor, and Yes, Fans Are Losing It on Twitter
To the surprise of absolutely no one, Colton Underwood's season finale of The Bachelor ended with the former NFL player reuniting with Cassie Randolph, the woman who dumped him just one episode prior.
Tuesday night's episode picked up where we left off during part one of the finale, with Colton arriving at Cassie's hotel room door despite jumping over a fence following their heartbreaking date mere days earlier. Even though the 23-year-old had decided to self-eliminate after realizing that she didn't have the same deep feelings that Colton did for her, she soon had a change of heart when Colton confessed that he'd ended things with Tayshia and Hannah G.
Luckily for Colton, his grand gesture was worth it, and the pair sealed the deal by spending the night together after a romantic dinner that involved talking about their future together, sans engagement. (Did he lose his virginity? Well, Colton said "a gentleman never kisses and tells," but they both seemed pretty damn happy about it the morning after.)
Colton and Cassie appeared on the "After the Final Rose" special hand in hand afterward, telling host Chris Harrison that they're still not engaged, but they're happy where they're at right now. "We still have a lot of conversations to have and room to grow," Colton said. "We're having fun dating right now."
While some fans are over the moon for Cassie and Colton, a few others still aren't convinced that the bond the couple shares is one that will last. Check out how Bachelor Nation is reacting to Colton's big decision, ahead!

What Is Bachelorette Star Hannah Brown's Job? She's Way More Than Just Miss Alabama
After plenty of speculation from fans, ABC has announced that Hannah Brown is the next Bachelorette star. Hannah didn't get Colton's final rose, but she won audiences over with her Southern charm. So, what does Hannah do when she's not on camera in the Bachelor-verse? It turns out she works as an interior decorator.
Hannah's official Bachelor bio lists her job as being Miss Alabama USA 2018. And while she does hold that title proudly, it's far from being the only thing she's known for. According to her LinkedIn page, Hannah works as an interior decorator at a company called Gracefully Done in Northport, AL. (That puts her in good company with her Bachelor pal Demi, whose Bachelor bio lists her occupation as being an interior designer.)
Based on her LinkedIn page, it looks like Hannah takes her decorating work seriously. She includes photos of living rooms she's worked on to showcase her talent. And it looks like she's been with Gracefully Done since 2017, the year she graduated from The University of Alabama. Brown is even featured on Gracefully Done's website, so it seems her decorating work is integral to the team.
Aside from being an interior decorator, it looks like Hannah is a bit of a makeup buff, too. Her LinkedIn profile notes that she's been a "freelance makeup artist/hairstylist" since April 2016. Taking part in pageants definitely taught Hannah a thing or two about makeup, and it looks like she's using that to her advantage outside the competitions, too.
When she's not on The Bachelorette or competing in pageants, Hannah is also a mental health advocate. A 2018 article from Alabama NewsCenter explains that Hannah has "struggled with anxiety and depression," and she's now outspoken about mental health in order to help others. Hannah's compassion for others makes her a great choice for The Bachelorette, and it looks like this season will be plenty of fun with Hannah Beast at the helm.
