Let's Pray Our Pets Don't Act Like Joffrey Once They Sit on This Iron Throne Bed

Let's be real: every household has a ruler. It's the one who barks and immediately gets fed. The one who sits down and gets their belly rubbed without having to say a peep. The one who gets treated with an unfathomable amount of respect, no matter how much mud they track into the house (partners would be scorned). Our pets are simply the leaders of our families, which is why it only makes sense for them to sit on a throne - an Iron Throne, that is.

In honor of the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones, which premieres in April, one Etsy shop owner is bringing the wars of Westeros to our living rooms with an Iron Throne Pet Bed. Whether you have one pup who's going to claim the Throne and go full Joffrey or a few kittens who can nestle in there together, it's guaranteed to add some coziness to your home. Don't laugh, but you probably will end up bending the knee to your fluffy ruler. Shop the Iron Throne Pet Bed ahead, and imagine your pet saying, "Because that's what I do. I sh*t and I know things."

Trader Joe's New Treat Is Pretty Much a PB&J - Except Better, Because Chocolate

A dangerous treat has come to Trader Joe's. Store locations recently began selling Organic Dark Chocolate PB&J Minis, which are bite-size squares of dark chocolate with peanut butter and raspberry filling on the inside. Each bag contains eight chocolate minis and, well, I can easily envision those bags emptying up pretty quickly if left unattended in my pantry. The sweet snack already seems to be a hit on Instagram, too, although one gluten-free food blogger noted that she'd prefer a milk chocolate version, which is a good point - I'll take both! Check out photos ahead, and look out for them on your next Trader Joe's run.

Disney's New Chocolate Donut Holes Are Smothered in a Decadent Fudgy Orange Glaze

Chocolate-lovers, rejoice! Disney World just keeps the food releases rolling, and the latest of the park's sweet selections is a set of donut holes covered in oozy chocolate sauce. Isle of Java, located in Disney's Animal Kingdom, has taken ordinary sugar-and-spice donut holes and smothered them in a decadent, fudge-like chocolate orange glaze. According to Disney Food Blog, the three donut holes are served on a stick, which is pretty lucky considering how much of a mess all of that chocolate sauce would likely make (not that we're complaining!). The blogger noted that the hint of orange in the glaze comes through a little more in the fragrance than the flavor of the treat.

Even though the Chocolate Donut Holes are not on Isle of Java's online menu just yet, they're available at the quick-service food spot now. Keep reading to compare the kiosk's new Chocolate Donut Holes ($5) with its popular Apple Cider Donut Holes, and maybe next time you're at Disney World, you'll have a chance to try the chocolaty glaze for yourself.

Where Was the Latinx Representation at the iHeartRadio Music Awards?

There was one major thing missing from the iHeartRadio Music Awards in Los Angeles last night: any representation of Latinx culture. According to a recent study, Latin music is the fifth-biggest genre in the country, after hip-hop, pop, rock, and R&B, accounting for 9.4 percent of all album listening in the US in 2018, while individual Latin tracks made up 10.8 percent.

Latin music is closing in on both R&B and rock, which is probably why everyone from David Guetta to Drake wanted to collaborate with Spanish-speaking artists this past year. So, why is Latin music being excluded from important music award shows?

Some might argue that the entities behind the production of such events highlight Latin music by giving it a separate award show, or in iHeartRadio's case, the iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina, an annual music festival that celebrates Latinx artists and their music with incredible performances and very distinct recognitions. But in the global, collaborative music environment of today, there could have been at least one Latinx artist performance.

Even EDM, which according to the study was less than half as popular as Latin music when it comes to song consumption, was represented. DJ and producer Marshmello made an appearance and performed with Lauv, Lovelytheband, and Ella Mai in a "best new artist" medley. So, why was it so hard to schedule J Balvin, Nicky Jam, or even Camila Cabello? With a little bit of better planning, they could've found a way to be there. Camila, for example, was nominated for female artist of the year and best lyrics for "Consequences" (which she won), and the "Camilizers," her fans, were nominated for best fan army. Regardless if she sang in English, we would've loved to have seen some representation.

Latin music did have a few categories that were - perhaps unsurprisingly - not televised. J Balvin won Latin album of the year with "Vibras," and "X," his collaboration with Nicky Jam, rewarded him with the Latin song of the year recognition. Bad Bunny was named Latin artist of the year, and Manuel Turizo took home the distinction of being the best new Latin artist. Calibre 50 became the regional Mexican artist of the year, and their song "Mitad y Mitad" was awarded with being the regional Mexican song of the year.

The only hint of Latin flavor was brought by Cardi B, who became the hip-hop artist of the year and sent a video message to her fans and her haters, thanking them for not letting her get too comfortable and making her work harder. Lele Pons, who rose to fame for being the most-followed and most-looped individual on Vine, made an appearance. Pons has become an influencer and is branching out as a singer, for which she was nominated as best new Latin artist. She was also nominated for the social star award. Jackie Cruz, of Orange Is the New Black fame, was also at the award show, rounding up the sightings of Latinx celebs.

If Latin music is making such a huge crossover into the mainstream American market, why is it not represented in mainstream award shows? That is a big question we need to continue asking ourselves to drive the discussion forward. It feels like a betrayal when artists go above and beyond to collaborate on amazing hits with their Latinx peers, but are then forgotten when award shows come around. Diversity still has a long way to go, and we have to keep pushing for it.

One Day at a Time: 20 Moments That Prove Elena Alvarez Is the Teen Queen of Keeping It Real

Elena from Netflix's One Day at a Time has always been one of our favorites. The teenager, played by Isabella Gomez, is one incredibly woke young woman who isn't afraid to speak her truth. Throughout the show's three seasons, Elena has had so many relatable moments - not only because she was so open about her life as a lesbian Latina, but because she certainly didn't believe you need to be asked your opinion before giving it. Even though Netflix has pulled the plug on the sweet family series after just three seasons - which led fans to give them a very passionate piece of their minds - the spirited Latina will always be our queen of #keepingitreal. Check out some of her best moments ahead!

Who Is Sofia Carson? Meet the Newest Pretty Little Liar

The wait for Freeform's highly anticipated show Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists is almost over! In addition to original cast members Janel Parrish and Sasha Pieterse, Disney favorite Sofia Carson is joining the new all-star cast as Ava, a fashion-loving blogger with serious coding skills. Before she becomes your new favorite pretty little liar, you need to know exactly who Sofia is, because this multitalented star has been on the rise for quite some time.

Born on April 10, 1993, Sofia is a 25-year-old actress and singer whose biggest role to date is in Disney's monster hit Descendants. Sofia stars as Evie in the franchise, the daughter of the Evil Queen, and she's probably your niece's favorite character. Her Disney roots run deeper than just her role in Descendants, though. Sofia's first-ever credited TV role is a guest appearance in Austin & Ally. From there, she moved on to a role in the Disney Channel original movie Adventures in Babysitting, which costarred Sofia's close pal Sabrina Carpenter.

When she's not totally owning her Disney Channel roles, Sofia is busy singing her heart out. In 2016, the Descendants star signed a joint record deal with Republic and Hollywood Records and released her pop single "Love Is the Name." (It has a cool 98 million views on YouTube.) Sofia also contributed a song to her direct-to-DVD follow-up to A Cinderella Story, A Cinderella Story: If the Shoe Fits.

There's no denying that Sofia's young career was already off to a monster start before she landed a role on Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. She made her Oscars red carpet debut in 2017 when she cohosted the All Access Facebook live stream with Ben Lyons, and the star performed in the 2015 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. With so much going on in her career at such a young age, you would think Sofia only has time for work. However, that's so not the case.

Right before her career took off in a major way, Sofia was studying at UCLA where she pursued a bachelor's degree in communications with a minor in French. It's also clear from her social media pages that Sofia knows how to balance work and play. When she's not busy starring in the new Pretty Little Liars spinoff and Freeform's Famous in Love, Sofia is busy hanging with her friends like Sabrina and Descendants costar Dove Cameron.

More than anything else right now, she's just psyched to be making her dream of being part of her favorite television universe come true. As a sneak peek of what to expect in The Perfectionists, Sofia told POPSUGAR:

"It is this seemingly perfect world on the exterior, and then once you crack the surface, you find imperfections and lies and darkness that we all have inside of each of us. I think the darkness gets heightened in our search for perfection. I think that's kind of infiltrated into everyone's world now through social media. Our world consumed by this strife for this unattainable perfection. That is harmful."

Given how much Sofia has already accomplished, don't be surprised if her status as a pretty little liar makes this actress a household name in no time. Watch the premiere of The Perfectionists on March 20!

These Latinas Are Proudly and Unapologetically Taking 2019

Between last Fall's midterm elections (which saw an outstanding number of women and particularly diverse women elected to congress) and this year's Oscars and Grammy Awards, where women were definitely front and center as winners and performers, it's no surprise that 2019 is shaping up to be the year when Latina women take their freaking rightful place: in the spotlight, showing how awesome we can all be, and that no matter what anyone tells you, the color of your skin shouldn't stand in the way of your goals.

While we're still far from equal representation in most avenues, space is finally being given to Latina women in areas including politics, fashion, entertainment, science, and sports. The women in this list are just a small group of all the Latinas out there serving major inspiration to pursue your dreams in this country and around the world.

How Much Time Has Passed on Game of Thrones? A Reasonable Timeline, Explained

After years of waiting, Game of Thrones is coming back - but how much time has actually passed since the pilot episode? Time in Westeros doesn't move the same way it does in the real world. Seasons last for years at a time, and if months are a thing, the characters never mention them. Keeping the timeline straight becomes even harder when you try to reconcile things like the rapid aging of Cersei's children (seriously, don't even attempt to use Tommen as a marker because it will make your brain explode) or the speed with which Varys makes his return trip to Meeren at the end of season six. It's also worth pointing out that episodes like the season seven premiere, "Dragonstone," make it clear events aren't always happening concurrently for the characters - enough time elapses after the cold open when Arya slaughters the Freys for the news to not only reach King's Landing, but lead Cersei to send soldiers to keep the peace in the Riverlands.

While there are certainly some head-scratching inconsistencies, a reasonable timeline for the first seven seasons of Game of Thrones can be established, even though these poor characters never seem to have time to celebrate their name days or pause for any holiday fun between Red Wedding massacres. With the help of wars, pregnancies, and those lovable Stark kids, we've put together a rough timeline for Game of Thrones so far. Read on to find out just how long it's taken for Winter to arrive in Westeros.

The Complex Citizenship Rules For Meghan and Harry's Baby

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expecting their first child in a matter of weeks, and Baby Sussex will be the first child of a senior royal to have an American-born parent. Since Meghan is still an American citizen - and will be for the next few years - questions have popped up as to the child's citizenship status. There are actually a few options.

Like the US, the UK has birthright citizenship, so if the new royal baby is born in the UK, they will automatically hold British citizenship. However, it would be possible for the baby to hold dual citizenship, but it will depend on Meghan's citizenship status. The duchess is in the process of becoming a British citizen, but has not stated whether she intends to maintain dual American citizenship or not. If she does, that opens an avenue for her child to hold dual American citizenship as well, as the child of a US citizen married to a non-US citizen and living abroad.

Everything We Know About Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Including James Gunn's Return

It has been a long road to Guardians of the Galaxy 3. The film was first announced in 2017 by director James Gunn in a March interview, during which he spilled that Marvel Studios definitely wanted to give the third film the green light; it was a matter of who would be behind the camera.

Gunn eventually went on to confirm that he would return to the director's seat for the third film in a lengthy post on his Facebook page, writing ". . . we will work on creating the story that goes beyond what you expect." Subsequently, the film has gone through a series of trials and tribulations: Gunn was fired from the project on July 20, 2018; production was put on hold in August, before Marvel officially pushed the beginning of production to February 2021. Now, just under a year after Gunn was fired, Marvel revealed that the director has been reinstated.

We know that's a lot for one film, so we've rounded up everything you need to know about Guardians of the Galaxy 3 ahead!

It's Time We Acknowledge That Queer Eye's Theme Song Is a F*cking Bop

It's hard to pinpoint the best part of an episode of Netflix's Queer Eye. Is it when chef Antoni tries to convince someone peas belong in guacamole? How about when grooming expert Jonathan lovingly rubs SPF on the extremely red cheeks of an unsuspecting Midwestern man? Or perhaps when all-star designer Bobby completely rebuilds a cluttered, dirty home from the ground up, proving time and time again that he's the most underrated member of the Fab Five? (In my humble opinion.)

While all of those options are tempting choices, none of them is correct - the best part of the episode is shortly after the group reads a few facts about their next "hero" from the iPad in their car, makes a few cute remarks about them, and then the first tinkling notes of the theme song begin.

The anticipation! The excitement! The knowledge that in a few short moments, Tan will burst into someone's closet and stare with absolute horror at a piece of camouflage lingerie before trying it on himself! (Which actually happens in season three, FYI.) The reboot of the iconic reality show not only packs a seriously emotional punch, but it also boasts a pretty killer soundtrack for seasons one, two, AND three. But the show's theme song, "All Things (Just Keep Getting Better)," is its musical crown jewel.

The track was originally done by the music group Wildlife, but in honor of the second season, singer Betty Who reimagined the tune, turning it into pop perfection. Regardless of which version of the theme song you prefer, it's catchy as hell and probably already stuck in your head as we speak. (I'm not sorry.) But just in case you need a reminder of how great it is before you dive into the third season, I've helpfully compiled both versions of "All Things," as well as some choice fan reactions to it, for your viewing pleasure ahead.

The New Annabelle 3 Teaser Reveals the Official Title, and It's Terrifyingly Fitting

The third Annabelle film officially has a title, and the announcement video is appropriately creepy for the occasion. The movie follows the ominous events that occur after supernatural investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) lock away the Annabelle doll in their artifact room. Suitably, the film is titled Annabelle Comes Home. Annabelle is definitely home, and according to the film's synopsis, she's wreacking havoc by "awakening the room's evil," which sets its sights on a new target: the Warrens's 10-year-old daughter, Judy (played by McKenna Grace).

Check out the eerie title announcement video above, and get ready to get spooked when Annabelle Comes Home hits theaters on June 28.

Annabelle Comes Home Is Already Bringing Us a Fresh Batch of Nightmares

The expansive universe that first began with The Conjuring back in 2013 is getting even bigger. On Oct. 16, Variety confirmed that a third Annabelle film is on the way, which means we have heaps upon heaps of nightmares to look forward to in the future. While The Nun is the latest film to enter the timeline, there have been two previous Annabelle movies. And frankly, the second one, which showed how the doll came to be possessed in the first place, is pretty good! We can only imagine what kind of horrors Annabelle Comes Home may hold. Luckily for you, we've tracked down quite a bit of information about the upcoming film!

The Us Trailer's Unsettling "I Got 5 on It" Remix Is Now Available to Stream - Lucky Us!

Jordan Peele really knows how to set the mood - or, conversely, kill a vibe. The director's critically acclaimed Get Out featured a chilling, at times unnerving score by Michael Abels, and Peele teamed up with the composer once again for Us. When the trailer was released a few months ago, fans were particularly blown away by its haunting remix of the popular 1995 hip hop song "I Got 5 on It" by Luniz featuring Michael Marshal. In anticipation of the film's release on March 22, the remix is now available in full. Lucky us!

Abels named his remix of "I Got 5 on It" the "Tethered Mix," which is actually a nod to the psychological thriller's very premise. Based on what we've gathered from the trailer and interviews, Us depicts a family of four on vacation coming face to face with their (very terrifying) doppelgängers, which are referred to as "The Tethered." If you'd like to prepare yourself - or start formulating theories - the full soundtrack is already available on streaming platforms. Listen to the standout song ahead.

6 Reasons RunDisney's Princess Half Marathon Weekend Is the Most Magical Race on Earth

Walt Disney World recently wrapped up its RunDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend - which includes a 5K and 10K, in addition to the 13.1 - and in a surprise to literally no one who has ever visited a Disney park, it was magical. If you've been thinking about participating in a RunDisney event - or running your first race, period - you should move the princess-themed races to the top of your list. Race weekends are jam-packed with fun, and I'm not just talking about the obvious perks of getting to spend a few days in the park, enjoying the attractions and delicious food. Here are just a few reasons runners love this particular race so much.

  1. There's amazing merchandise. Every year during the Princess Half Marathon Weekend, RunDisney unveils some of the most beautiful and exclusive merchandise, including wine glasses, Tervis tumblers, race-themed Minnie ears, spirit jerseys, pins, and magnets. Runners can find all of this at the ESPN Wide World of Sports, where the race expo is held.
  2. Everyone dresses in costume. Part of the fun of Princess Half Marathon Weekend is that almost everyone is wearing some type of costume. Whether they pull the look together themselves or choose to buy a costume or themed t-shirt, the princess vibe is strong. Some people even do character mashups (think: Jedi Anna).
  3. The finisher medals are awesome. Each distance has a theme, right down to the medals that are presented to runners at the finish line. In the past, medals have been designed in the likeness of the princesses from Tangled, Sleeping Beauty, Brave, The Little Mermaid, and Frozen.
  4. Characters line the course. Yes, there's a good chance you'll find Disney princesses and sidekicks - and sometimes even villains - in both the pre- and postrace areas and along the course. You'll likely also be greeted by the park's biggest stars: Mickey and Minnie.
  5. Every mile is Instagram-worthy. There are photo opportunities throughout the race, from backgrounds set up by race staff to princess-themed mile markers, park icons, and cast members with fun signs.
  6. The postrace food is out of this world. You deserve a treat after 13.1 miles, and there are an abundance of options within the park (this is Disney, after all), from Mickey waffles to those towering Dole Whips.

Still need convincing? Scroll through to see some of the best photos from this year's race.

We Need to Discuss These Really Awkward Photos of Hannah B’s Suitors For a Sec

After an unorthodox season of The Bachelor, Hannah Brown was named the next Bachelorette. The 24-year-old former Miss Alabama even met a few suitors immediately after the news was announced at Colton Underwood's "After the Final Rose" special. Talk about baptism by fire, right?

Now, ABC has begun teasing the forthcoming season by releasing photos of all 33 suitors. Although we have no information about these suitors apart from their names, ages, and hometowns, we've decided to rank them, and - because we're not entirely shallow - we've based it on body language alone. Our major takeaway is that these men really love to jam their hands into their pockets as soon as they come face to face with a camera. They do it in such creative ways, too! See our not-so-definitive ranking ahead.

Tuca & Bertie: Netflix's New Series Looks Like If BoJack Horseman and Broad City Had a Baby

Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong are the voices behind Netflix's upcoming animated series, Tuca & Bertie, which I'm pretty sure will become our new favorite show. I should add that the eponymous characters are actually two 30-something bird women: big-screen breakout comedian Haddish voices the bold and gregarious Tuca the toucan, and stand-up star Wong is her introverted BFF and neighbor, Bertie the songbird. The show follows them as they navigate what any other bird-woman would: careers, relationships, sex, and self-esteem. The Walking Dead's Steven Yeun plays Bertie's live-in boyfriend.

On Thursday, Netflix released a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at the making of the show, including sit-down interviews with the hilarious stars, who clearly have chemistry behind the mic. Of their characters, Wong says that there are some real-life similarities. "In a lot of ways, it kind of does mirror us. Tiffany's out there and about, and she's fun and not repressed, and I'm kind of a recluse and I'm a homebody." And as a huge BoJack Horseman fan, I immediately recognized the illustration style and was thrilled to see that supervising producer Lisa Hanawalt is the creator of this anthropomorphic sitcom, too.

Tuca & Bertie will also feature voice performances by Nicole Byer, Richard E. Grant, John Early, Reggie Watts, Tig Notaro, Amber Ruffin, Jermaine Fowler, and Tessa Thompson. The series hits Netflix on May 3, and I am in.

The Youth Climate Strike Is Here, and So Are All These Incredibly Moving Signs

On Friday, March 15, students in over 50 countries around the world skipped school to protest global leaders and their failure to take action to prevent climate change. The strikes are inspired by 16-year-old Swedish climate change activist Greta Thunberg and the Fridays For the Future movement she started - and was eventually nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for - back in 2018.

In an effort to bring awareness to the current climate crisis, students and adults alike took to the streets to participate in the Youth Climate Strike on Friday morning, and as always, there were some pretty powerful signs in attendance. Read on to see some of the best and most moving signs from the protests.

Simply Put, This Woman Lost Her Sh*t When Kelly Clarkson Pulled Her on Stage at a Concert

What happens when Kelly Clarkson pulls a superfan on stage at one of her concerts? Well, said superfan promptly loses their sh*t - that's what happens. This exact scenario unfolded during Kelly's recent Meaning of Life tour stop in Boston when the 36-year-old singer invited Kate Brewer to join her on stage. Kelly paused her "Minute and a Glass of Wine" segment to show the audience Kate's viral wedding video, in which her wedding party and guests broke out in a flash mob set to "My Life Would Suck Without You." Kate slowly but surely put the pieces together and realized she was on the brink of meeting her idol face to face, and a full-on tizzy ensued. Frantically repeating a combination of "Is it me?" and "Oh my god," a tearful Kate and her husband, Dave, who planned the whole thing, headed to the stage to join Kelly.

Noticing Kate's emotional demeanor, Kelly casually said, "Don't cry! I'm not that cool, I swear." Ugh, we love a modest queen! Check out the superfan's shocked reaction - hyperventilating and all - in the clip above, then watch the video below, starting around the 11:50 mark, to see another angle of their sweet onstage interaction.

Hunter Parrish Has Joined the Jane the Virgin Spinoff - Here's What Else You Need to Know

The final season of The CW's Jane the Virgin hasn't even aired yet, and the pilot for its potential spinoff, Jane the Novela, hasn't even been shot. But that hasn't stopped fans from getting very excited for any new information about the project, so we went ahead and got some for you. Here's what Jane the Virgin creator Jennie Snyder Urman shared about the upcoming series, which is being written by Valentina Garza, while speaking to journalists during the Television Critics Association press tour on Jan. 31.

Gina Rodriguez Will Narrate the New Show

No offense to Anthony Mendez, who voices the Latin Lover Narrator on Jane the Virgin, but our girl's got this. It also makes a lot of sense for her to do it, since Snyder Urman said "the spinoff is a different conceit, because they're Jane's novels that she'll write in the future."

If Snyder Urman has her way, Rodriguez will also direct. She's already directed two episodes of Jane the Virgin so far, including the upcoming season's premiere, which features her character giving one mammoth monologue and is therefore even more of a directing challenge. On top of that, she's tackled an episode of the other series Snyder Urman executive produces, Charmed. After the panel, Snyder Urman said of Rodriguez's directing that "I knew she was going to be amazing with the actors - that was no surprise to me - but I did not know what a genius she was with composition and cameras and framing. I mean, next level."

It's Closer to the American Horror Story Definition of an 'Anthology'

As opposed to a different story each episode like in Black Mirror, Snyder Urman said that this show will tell one complete story a season, similar to the way it's done on FX's American Horror Story or HBO's True Detective.

This makes sense, she reminded us, because traditional telenovelas tell a story over one season and then move on. "It feels really exciting to be able to tell this kind of emotional, dramatic, scary, funny story all in one season," she said.

Perhaps this might also change the show's chances with the Emmy Awards? Jane the Virgin has always been unfortunately neglected by the TV Academy (although Rodriguez won a Golden Globe in 2015 for best actress in a TV comedy). Emmy voters have one more year to get it right.

Will Any Other Jane the Virgin Characters Appear in This Show?

According to Snyder Urman, "Probably not the first year." She noted that if the show makes it to a second season - provided it gets picked up to series in the first place - and they get time to establish new characters and settings, "we can see what comes. But, I mean, I love this cast. I'd be lucky to work with every single one of them again, and I really hope to."

It's honestly not that far-fetched of an idea, given what we know about Jane's writing. Her first book, Snow Falling (which you can actually buy IRL), is inspired by her own life. Set in early 1900s Miami, it's a love triangle among a hotel employee, the railroad tycoon who owns the hotel, and the police officer to whom she's betrothed. Sure, it only has three and a half stars on Goodreads. But who's counting?

The Cast For Season One Is Already Coming Together

Though we probably won't be seeing Jane, Xiomara, or Alba in the first season, we will be seeing some other familiar faces! East Los High's Jacqueline Grace Lopez and Weeds alum Hunter Parrish have been cast as two of the show's leads, Estela and Felix. Similar to how Jane was torn between Michael and Rafael in JTV, Estela will be torn between her boyfriend, Luen, and Felix (Parrish), a handsome rich guy. Former Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross will also star as Felix's "glamorous mother," Renata, who co-owns a winery with her son and will stop at nothing to secure her son's legacy, even if it means standing in the way of his happiness." Just like a telenovela!

The Setting Will Be Different

While Jane the Virgin is set in the colorful, vibrant world of a Miami luxury hotel known as The Marbella, Snyder Urman confirmed that Jane the Novela "will be set in Napa Valley at the intersection of wine and art."

That's a twist, since we don't know if Jane knows much about Northern California. Does she take a research trip this season? Is The Marbella brand expanding? Maybe she goes as part of a babymoon? Rodriguez did tease a bump photo of her character on Instagram . . . Whatever the case, we highly recommend she peruse POPSUGAR'S list of best things to do in Napa and also maybe our tips for riding the area's famous wine train.

But the Tone Will Be the Same

Snyder Urman did stress that the two projects have the same bones and the new one would also have "magical realism and a very actively imaginative heroine." (Hmm. That sounds familiar). Jane the Virgin trademarks like the pun-themed hashtags that appear on screen would also carry on to the new show.

We also have been told that the spinoff focuses on a family that fails to keep its secrets buried for long. Think of all the dead bodies buried at or near The Marbella (Rafael's dad! Scott!) or found there (Anezka!). Maybe they will inspire one of Jane's stories? Snyder Urman did say that there are "little hints here and there" to these stories in this season of Jane the Virgin, "but you've gotta really dig in." So pay close attention when the series returns on March 27.

I Knew Taylor Swift's Butterfly Shoes Were Trouble When She Walked In

We already know Taylor Swift likes to get her fans excited through symbolism, so when she strutted onto the iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet in Sophia Webster butterfly heels, which she then proceeded to post on Instagram, the pot had been stirred. Immediately, her followers connected the insect's meaning to her potential new music (which she referenced in her speech).

Even though Taylor styled her shoes with a splashy sequined Rosa Bloom romper that retails for $246, her accessories were distracting enough. Many people brought up the snake Taylor wore in reference to her Reputation album throughout the tour (remember these Gucci boots and this Kate Spade New York backpack?). "So reputation was the snake motif now it's a butterfly because Taylor has finally come out of her cocoon and become a beautiful butterfly full of love and light," one user wrote.

Meanwhile, others speculated the footwear may signify a collaboration with Maren Morris, who also showed up to the event in a flashy look. Whatever the case, the Swifties are fully invested in Taylor's delicate butterfly heels, and it's plain to see why. Read on to digest the full Twitter moment, and pick up Taylor's exact pair before they sell out.

I Went on 30 Dates in 30 Days, and Here's What Happened

"Who has time to find that many guys to go out with?" Rayna Greenberg and Ashley Hesseltine mused as we sipped coffees in the West Village last Fall. The duo hosts the hilarious podcast, Girls Gotta Eat, which is full of raw and relevant humor that hits on exactly what it's like to be a single millennial lady in New York City. At the time I was interviewing them for an article on dating trends in 2019 and simultaneously contemplating a move from San Francisco to New York. I asked them about dating experiments and they shared an idea they had to challenge themselves to 30 dates in 30 days, that they ultimately decided was more trouble than it was worth.

Challenge accepted, I thought to myself.

This comedy duo's throwaway idea piqued my interest. I imagined this was a great way to get to know a new city, hit the ground running on my romantic life in the New Year, and test my dating prowess. I knew I could do it on my home turf, but could I possibly find 30 eligible bachelors to date in my first month in a new city?

With only one way to find out, I decided to make the move official. I landed in Manhattan and started the clock immediately. It wasn't easy, it was only sometimes fun, and it turns out, Rayna and Ashley were right to scrap this idea. By the end, I was exhausted, disillusioned, and considered swearing off dating altogether, but the important thing is, I made it. Here's what happened.

Both of Captain Marvel's End Credits Scenes Are Important, but For Very Different Reasons

Warning: MAJOR Captain Marvel spoilers below, so proceed with caution!

Brie Larson has officially made her bigscreen debut as Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, and we couldn't be more thrilled. Marvel's latest ass-kicking superhero is the first woman at the center of one of their action-heavy films, and she fits in great alongside the rest of the Avengers we've come to know and love over the years.

But aside from sharing traits with other films in the MCU - like pithy one-liners, dazzling battles, and furry sidekicks - Captain Marvel also includes what has become a staple of most Marvel movies: a hint-laden postcredits scene. Actually, there are two postcredits scenes in Captain Marvel, and both are very important, albeit in very different ways.

If you're one of the many flocking to movie theaters over the next few days to catch Carol in all of her glowing, super-powered action, but you have a few questions about the extra scenes that play once the credits begin their painfully slow crawl, you've come to the right place. The first and most important scene happens relatively quickly, functioning as more of a midcredits scene. The second is much more lighthearted, but contains a special nod to one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most powerful objects, so it's not to be missed, either.

Ahead, you'll find explanations for what happens in each, as well as what they mean for the future of the franchise.

Every CW Show - Old and Current - Streaming on Netflix Right This Minute

The CW is by far the youngest of the big five television networks. Formed back in the Fall of 2006 as a merger of the WB and UPN networks, the channel has become known first for its young adult fare, which launched the network's early years and continues today, and its superhero series (the network currently has five superhero shows running concurrently). Although it's easy to brush off the network's shows as "just" teen shows or "shipper"-friendly shows, there are actually a ton of creative, smart, sexy, and just plain fun shows - both past and present. Netflix is home to a couple dozen CW shows, both older series that are long finished and current ones to catch up on. Ahead, check out every CW show that's on Netflix - maybe you'll find your next binge-watch here!

Holy Crap - There’s a Pig Called “Pigasso” Who Paints With His Mouth

There's a new painter making waves in the art community, and she most certainly did not go to art school. "Pigcasso," a 3-year-old pig rescued a few years ago from an industrialized hog farming facility, has not only survived, she has thrived, painting gorgeous works of abstract art that have garnered a global following. The 1,000-pound pig is a master of the paintbrush, and, according to CBS, has sold paintings for thousands of dollars.

Residing at Farm Sanctuary SA near Cape Town, South Africa, the pig was drawn to brushes and paint, and clearly has a talent for it. "For some reason, she took a knack to the paintbrushes and it wasn't long before she was dancing the brush across the canvas and selling artworks all over the world," Joanne Lefson, the sanctuary's founder, told CBS News.

Check out some of Pigcasso's work - watching her paint is incredibly soothing.

This little piggy went to the market, this little piggy went to the store, and this little piggy clearly went to BLICK Art Materials.
