Please Excuse Me While I Spend the Next Few Hours Laughing at These Captain Marvel Memes

Much to the delight of fans (and dismay of garbage trolls) everywhere, Captain Marvel blasted her way into a historic $153 million box office debut. The film not only boasts Brie Larson's badass hero, but also a whole ton of feminist themes, an exceptional performance from Lashana Lynch, plenty of Nick Fury's one-liners, and a truly adorable furry sidekick. So yeah, the resulting memes have been truly top notch.

From commentary solely devoted to Goose (Captain Marvel's best character, if you ask me), to some hilarious observations about Skrulls and our collective decision to stan Carol Danvers, the following tweets and Tumblr posts will make you fall in love with the Marvel movie all over again. Check them out ahead, and then find out the amazing way Larson recently rewarded fans!

Jonah Hill and Jerry Seinfeld Join Forces For Vampire Weekend's "Sunflower" Music Video

We have three big things that might excite any Vampire Weekend fans in the house. First, the band just dropped the music video for their latest single, "Sunflower," with The Internet guitarist Steve Lacy. Second, Jonah Hill directed said music video. Third, Jerry Seinfeld stars in it. Oh, and the video also features a copious amount of footage from iconic Upper West Side locations like Zabar's and Barney Greengrass. So, I guess that's four things to be excited about. My bad.

If you're hoping for any You've Got Mail flashbacks, then I suggest looking elsewhere, because the Mid90s director has the camera spinning constantly throughout the two-and-a-half-minute clip, creating a dizzying split-screen effect that only serves to highlight Seinfeld's trademark smirk. Check it out above before the band's new album, Father of the Bride, drops on May 3.

Barbara Palvin Has So Many Sexy Photos, We Had a Hard Time Narrowing Them Down For You

I'm just gonna cut to the chase here, folks: Barbara Palvin is a freakin' babe. The 25-year-old model - who was recently named the newest Victoria's Secret Angel - has been a steady household name in the fashion industry, strutting the catwalk for big brands like Chanel, Miu Miu, and Armani, to name a few. With striking blue eyes, mile-long legs, and hair that could sell virtually any shampoo brand, the Hungarian stunner knows how to serve looks, whether she's posing alongside her equally attractive boyfriend, Dylan Sprouse, or showing her phone's front-facing camera who's boss with a selfie session. Don't believe us? Keep reading for a handful of Barbara's sexiest photos to date, and she'll undoubtedly become your newest girl crush.

Chance the Rapper and Kirsten Corley's Fairy-Tale Wedding Is Something Out of a Storybook

It's official - Chance the Rapper is married! The 25-year-old musician tied the knot with longtime love Kirsten Corley in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony at the Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, CA, on March 9. Kirsten looked ethereal in a strapless gown designed by Galia Lahav, while Chance channeled his inner Prince Charming in a white and black tux. The fete brought out the pair's nearest and dearest, including Chance's mentors Dave Chappelle, gospel singer Kirk Franklin, and Kanye West, who was joined by wife Kim Kardashian. Thankfully, Chance blessed us with a few photos from the gorgeous nuptials on Instagram, captioning an album of him and Kirsten, "The Bennetts."

Chance and Kirsten have known each other since 2003, but their relationship didn't turn romantic until 10 years later. The rapper popped the question to Kirsten during a family barbecue this past Fourth of July, and even though they've been legally married since Dec. 27, 2018, now things are really official. The couple are also parents to 3-year-old daughter Kensli. Congrats to the newlyweds!

If You're Already Hoping For a Captain Marvel Sequel, You're (Probably) in Luck

Carol Danvers has only just made her entrance into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but we're already wondering when we're getting more.

We've been waiting for the hero to make her debut since Nick Fury made that urgent call in the postcredits scene of Avengers: Infinity War and Captain Marvel's insignia flashed across our screens. With the release of Captain Marvel on March 8, we finally get to learn her story. Now we want to know what comes next!

While there have been no official plans for a sequel announced by Marvel Studios, we already know this isn't the last we'll be seeing of Captain Marvel. The human-Kree hybrid will be making her next appearance in Avengers: Endgame, where she'll hopefully be helping to kick some Thanos ass. Her appearance in Endgame also means that she will be an essential part of paving the way to the MCU's Phase Four, which will feature films like Spiderman: Far From Home, Black Panther 2, and the Black Widow solo movie. As The Hollywood Reporter noted, actress Brie Larson has signed a seven-picture deal that "locks her into multiple franchises," which means she's bound to appear in Avengers movies that aren't just her own standalone films.

But when it does come to her standalone films, the chances of there being a Captain Marvel 2 are pretty high. As much as Captain Marvel strays from the standard origin formula, it's still an introduction to a new Marvel hero. Carol's entire journey in Captain Marvel deals with her remembering who she truly is and discovering the full extent of her powers, which means there is still so much territory to cover in future films. While the movie doesn't exactly have an open ending, it does end on a note that could segue into a follow-up.

Warning: SERIOUSLY HUGE spoilers for Captain Marvel ahead!

After Carol gets her memory back, she realizes that Yon-Rogg (Jude Law) and the Kree are actually the villains of the whole situation. Back in 1989, Yon-Rogg killed Mar-Vell (whose face Supreme Intelligence has been wearing) to stop her from helping the shapeshifting Skrulls develop light-speed tech that would aid them in finding a new home. The device just happens to use the Tesseract (seriously, does Asgard ever keep ahold of that thing?), which gives Carol her powers when she tries to destroy it. It also happens to take away her memories, so Yon-Rogg is able to steal her away and make her think the Skrulls are in the wrong for six years.

Carol later realizes that Yon-Rogg and Supreme Intelligence have been suppressing her full powers and unleashes them, defeating the two, as well as Ronan the Accuser, the Kree extremist that Yon-Rogg calls upon to destroy Earth. But Carol's work is far from over. She tells Nick Fury to watch over Goose (the Flerken who looks like a cat and also managed to swallow the Tesseract) and gives him that special pager to call her in case of emergencies. Carol explains that she's going back into space to end the Kree war against the Skrulls and to help find a new planet for the latter. Which, hello, plot for the sequel!

Obviously, the next time we'll see Carol will be in Endgame. The first postcredits scene in Captain Marvel has her showing up at the Avengers compound, much to the shock of Captain America, Black Widow, and the Hulk. But since Endgame takes place almost 30 years into her future, the Captain Marvel sequel could focus on any of Carol's adventures before then. Does she ever actually end the Kree-Skrull war? We known Ronan manages to escape her clutches long enough to get tangled up with Thanos and is eventually killed by the Guardians of the Galaxy, but what about Yon-Rogg?

Also, does she ever head back to Earth to hang with Maria, Goose, and Fury, making fun of all Fury's outdated (but actually current for the time) tech? There are so many questions we need answers to! Luckily, we're pretty sure Marvel already knows that it'll need to give us more of Captain Marvel in the future. The only question, really, is how much more can we get of Goose?!

Captain Marvel Reveals the Surprising Origins of How the Avengers Got Their Name

Yes, there are spoilers for Captain Marvel below. You've been warned.

Although Captain Marvel has been billed as Carol Danvers's big debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the film also functions as an important stepping stone between Avengers: Infinity War and the MCU's final team-up film, Avengers: Endgame. Yes, it takes place decades earlier in 1995, but as we come to discover over the course of the lengthy film, Carol (Brie Larson) will be key to Steve, Nat, and Bruce's plan to bring back the dearly departed friends who turned to dust after Thanos's snap. But as it just so happens, Carol is also the reason why the Avengers are called the Avengers at all. (At least as far as the MCU is concerned.)

At the very end of the film, young S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson, who has been smoothed down and given hair with the help of CGI) sits down in his office to reflect on the wild few days he's spent with Carol Danvers. In addition to blowing his mind with her nearly unbeatable powers, the human-alien hybrid's past as an Air Force pilot is what inspires Fury to dub his new project "The Avenger Initiative."

He's sifting through photos of Carol's life on earth before she had her DNA fused with a highly advanced piece of Kree technology, and comes across an old photo of her standing with her fighter jet. Along the side of the plane reads her call sign, which is: Carol "Avenger" Danvers. Ta-da!

What's interesting is that her call sign was most definitely not "Avenger" in the comics - it was . . . wait for it . . . "Cheeseburger."

In a 2007 issue of the Ms. Marvel comic, Carol goes on a date and tells the man she's with that her call sign used to be "Cheeseburger." Apparently she earned the (hilarious) nickname after chowing down on a burger right before she endured a particularly stomach-churning session of pilot training, and . . . well, hopefully you can visualize the rest!

Although we kind of wish the MCU was full of superheroes called the Cheeseburgers rather than the Avengers, we can see why Marvel decided to go with the latter.

This Viral Trailer For a Modern Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Is So Good, We Wish It Was a Real Show

Cinematographer Morgan Cooper's fan-made video for a modern-day Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is so good, it looks like it'd be an actual series or movie. "Like most '90s kids, I grew up watching Fresh Prince. Even as a kid, I always thought there was more to the story . . . so I decided to make this," he tweeted as he shared his trailer for Bel-Air (2019).

In this version, Will Smith (played by Jerry Madison) is sent to live with his uncle Phil in Bel-Air after a fight on the basketball court in West Philadelphia gets him arrested for gun possession. In his fancy new California digs, Will adjusts to his new life with his family and navigates friendships, hardships, and love (don't worry, Carlton is still there and still nagging).

This isn't the first time we've seen an "edgy" remake of a childhood classic. An Arthur parody trailer follows the dark story of Arthur and his friends trying to solve the mysterious death of Muffy. I'm personally not always here for the idea of rebooting something that's already fantastic, but this is a different story. Cooper's trailer on YouTube has gotten more than a million views since its publish date on March 10. Everybody thinks this should be a real movie ASAP! Watch the full video ahead, and check out all the praise it's rightfully getting.

Look at Those Smiles! Jessie J and Channing Tatum Are Clearly Smitten With Each Other

Jessie J and Channing Tatum seem to be getting more comfortable showing off their romance! On Thursday, the couple looked smitten when they stepped out for lunch and did some shopping together in London. Jessie and Channing exchanged loving looks and held hands as they strolled around town. The 38-year-old actor kept things casual in a cap and plaid hoodie, while the 30-year-old singer also did the same in a beige sweatsuit and black jacket.

News of Channing and Jessie's relationship first broke in October 2018, though the two had already reportedly been dating for a couple months by then. While they initially tried to keep their romance under the radar, it looks like things are getting pretty serious now. Not only does Jessie have Channing's ex-wife Jenna Dewan's approval, but she's apparently met his 5-year-old daughter, Everly. Love is definitely in the air for these two!

Rihanna Is on a Mission to Make the World a Better Place, and Everyone Needs to Follow Suit

It never ceases to amaze me how much Rihanna truly does. Between her Fenty makeup line, putting out new music (however, I'm still waiting for that 2019 album), and her Savage x Fenty lingerie, how does she do it all? Still, what I admire most about Rihanna is just how big her heart is. Not only is she outspoken about important issues like education, women's rights, and HIV awareness, but the 31-year-old has also made it her mission to make the world a better place through her philanthropic efforts. A true icon! Ahead, see all the ways Rihanna is work, work, working to do good.

Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong Are 30-Something Bird BFFs in Netflix's Tuca & Bertie

Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong are the voices behind Netflix's upcoming animated series, Tuca & Bertie, which I'm pretty sure will become our new favorite show. I should add that the eponymous characters are actually two 30-something bird women: big-screen breakout comedian Haddish voices the bold and gregarious Tuca the toucan, and stand-up star Wong is her introverted BFF and neighbor, Bertie the songbird. The show follows them as they navigate what any other bird-woman would: careers, relationships, sex, and self-esteem. The Walking Dead's Steven Yeun plays Bertie's live-in boyfriend.

On Thursday, Netflix released a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at the making of the show, including sit-down interviews with the hilarious stars, who clearly have chemistry behind the mic. Of their characters, Wong says that there are some real-life similarities. "In a lot of ways, it kind of does mirror us. Tiffany's out there and about, and she's fun and not repressed, and I'm kind of a recluse and I'm a homebody." And as a huge BoJack Horseman fan, I immediately recognized the illustration style and was thrilled to see that supervising producer Lisa Hanawalt is the creator of this anthropomorphic sitcom, too.

Tuca & Bertie will also feature voice performances by Nicole Byer, Richard E. Grant, John Early, Reggie Watts, Tig Notaro, Amber Ruffin, Jermaine Fowler, and Tessa Thompson. The series hits Netflix on May 3, and I am in.

George Clooney Praises His "Kind and Smart" Pal Meghan Markle Amid Media Scrutiny

George Clooney continues to stand up for his good friend Meghan Markle. In an interview with Good Morning Britain on Friday, the 57-year-old actor spoke about the unfair media treatment the Duchess of Sussex has received since entering the royal family. There have been reports of Meghan being "difficult," as well as many attempts to portray some sort of feud between her and Kate Middleton, but George is setting the record straight and calling out tabloids for exploiting the royal mother-to-be. "I think it's a little unfair at times," George said. "She's a really kind and smart and intelligent young woman." He also added that Meghan and Harry are "a really wonderful, loving couple."

George's recent interview comes weeks after he defended Meghan against the invasive paparazzi, saying, "They're just chasing Meghan Markle everywhere, she's been pursued and vilified. She's a woman who is seven months pregnant and she has been pursued and vilified and chased in the same way that Diana was, and it's history repeating itself. We've seen how that ends."

Back in May 2018, George and his wife, Amal, attended the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's royal wedding. More recently, they were rumored to be the godparents of Meghan and Harry's future baby, but George later debunked those reports. He does, however, hold the title of royal defender - well, that's what we're calling him, anyway.

11 Stars Who've Publicly Professed Their Admiration For Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle is truly a force to be reckoned with. From the way she's shaking up the royal family to her empowering-as-hell quotes, there's so much to love about the Duchess of Sussex that even celebrities have taken notice. Most recently, Beyoncé paid tribute to Meghan at the Brit Awards and on her website (we love queens honoring queens!), but she isn't the only star who's bowed down to the duchess. That's right - these stars love Meghan as much as (or maybe even more than) you do!

5 Recent Movies That Digitally Re-Created Actors - and Why They Did It

One of the key players in Captain Marvel is Nick Fury, the character who has been the glue holding together the Marvel Cinematic Universe since his first appearance in the stinger of 2008's Iron Man. In the present-day Marvel films, we've gotten to know Samuel L. Jackson's character as the tough boss of S.H.I.E.L.D., but in Captain Marvel, we meet a younger version of Fury, since the film is set in the 1990s, over a decade before the bulk of the MCU. Rather than recast the iconic role, the filmmakers brought Jackson back, but with a twist: they used digital technology to de-age the actor to play a younger Fury who looks just like Jackson did in the '90s.

Captain Marvel isn't the first film to use CGI and other digital tricks to re-create an actor. In most cases, the technology has been used to fill in for an actor who's passed away, but there are a whole variety of techniques that have been used over the past decade or so. Ahead, check out five more movies that famously used digital technology to re-create an actor (or two!), and read all about how they pulled it off. (And stay tuned for Netflix's The Irishman, which will notably de-age both Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino.)

This Just In: Timothy Olyphant Gets Better Looking Every Single Year

After more than two decades in Hollywood, you'd think Timothy Olyphant would eventually begin to lose his appeal, but the now-50-year-old father of three has only transformed from a spiky-haired hottie to a sexy silver fox. After rising to fame as Sheriff Seth Bullock in HBO's Western series Deadwood (a role he'll be reprising when the show returns to HBO in a forthcoming film), the actor became best known for his roles as Raylan Givens on the FX crime drama Justified and, most recently, as Joel Hammond on Netflix's Santa Clara Diet, in which he stars alongside Drew Barrymore.

Sure, Timothy has been married to his college sweetheart, Alexis Knief, for nearly 30 years, but that doesn't mean we can't still admire his ageless charm! Check out the gallery to see how Timothy has aged like fine wine since 1999, when he first came on the scene.

The Act: After Dee Dee Blanchard's Death, Here Is Nicholas Godejohn's Status in 2019

Drawing from a tragic and twisted true story, Hulu's The Act dramatizes Dee Dee Blanchard's dysfunctional relationship with her daughter, Gypsy Rose. The former had Munchausen syndrome by proxy, a condition in which she pretended that her daughter was ill in order to garner attention. On the series, Patricia Arquette and Joey King portray the tension that culminated from this toxic relationship.

As the show falls in the true-crime genre, it's sufficient to say their mother-daughter bond falls apart - in fact, it ends in a grisly murder. While Dee Dee and Gypsy are this case's main players, there's another person who's important in this story: Nicholas Godejohn, Gypsy's ex-boyfriend and the killer himself (portrayed by American Vandal villain Calum Worthy).

Gypsy had been living with her mother in Springfield, MO. Under her mother's threats and abuses, she feigned illness and accepted treatments for conditions such as epilepsy, leukemia, muscular dystrophy, and brain damage. In 2012, she found Godejohn on a Christian dating site. After they met in person at the movies in 2015, she conspired her mother's death with him. In an interview on Dr. Phil, Gypsy said he had multiple personalities, some violent, including a 500-year-old vampire named Victor.

With the knife and gloves that his then-girlfriend provided, Godejohn stabbed Dee Dee 17 times - and according to Gypsy, under his Victor personality. The couple went to his home in Wisconsin, where the police eventually cornered him after tracing a disturbing Facebook post that he had put up through Dee Dee's account.

The 29-year-old pleaded not guilty. The debate was not whether he had killed Dee Dee but whether or not he was capable of deliberation when doing it. Godejohn's defense attorney, Dewayne Perry, argued that he was a "low-functioning person with autism" who was manipulated into committing homicide and motivated out of romance and sex.

This argument didn't convince Godejohn's jury, which convicted him of first-degree murder after a short trial in November 2018. In February, Godejohn was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. The judge on his case denied a motion for a retrial. Perry argued that the jury should not have heard that Godejohn had considered raping Dee Dee and that Godejohn's psychologist, not the state psychologist, should have been allowed to testify. His ex-girlfriend is currently serving a sentence of 10 years in prison for second-degree murder with eligibility for parole in 2024.

Captain Marvel's Costume Designer Decodes the Hidden Messages in the Film's 90s-Era Wardrobe

When I first found out that Captain Marvel would predominantly take place in the '90s, I had a few questions. First, if Carol Danvers would be bopping around Los Angeles in 1995, how would she ever travel forward in time to save the Avengers in 2018 following Thanos's infamous snap? How would a young Nick Fury fit into the equation? And - fingers crossed - would there be any recreations of Cher Horowitz's many outfits in Clueless?

While I've since found out the answers to all three questions - apparently Carol can time travel, is best friends with Fury, and prefers grunge to yellow plaid - I still had a few things on my mind about how Captain Marvel's costume designer, Sanja Milkovic Hays, made Brie Larson's superpowered alien look not only like a relatable, passable human, but also one whose wardrobe I would happily raid today in 2019.

I hopped on the phone with Hays just in time for the film's release, where she filled me in on everything from why she decided Carol would be a Nine Inch Nails fan to the touching history behind her signature bomber jacket.

POPSUGAR: I know that you've worked on a lot of male-dominated action films, like the Fast and Furious franchise and the Maze Runner films, so what was it like outfitting a female hero this time around?

Sanja Milkovic Hays: It was very different, of course. It's fun, but there are different issues, you know. We had to fit things to make sure she looked like a serious superhero, a serious warrior, and yet keep her looking feminine and like a woman. The whole balance was kind of an interesting exercise. But I was very lucky that Brie looks like a goddess. [Laughs.] That was not that difficult. It was much more involving, because of the demands of her role; we tried to really put a lot of time and effort into making her feel as comfortable as possible. We knew that she'd have to shoot for such a long time, doing everything from jumping to running. It was also interesting because she'd come to a fitting, and [I'd be like] 'OK now, her body has changed from her exercises,' and we would do things to accommodate that.

PS: The suit looks really true to the comics, but I imagine there were still a few updates made to it to modernize the look - was that something you worked on yourself, or was it a bigger, more collaborative effort?

SMH: The first sort of translation from the comics to the costume was done in Marvel's digital development department, they did the concept drawings of the suit. And then when I came on board, we continued tweaking the details and the shapes. We worked with her actual body, and [the way she moved] . . . her body changed drastically while filming, so it was a lot of tweaking. But the conscious decision was made at the beginning that the version of her suit - because there are many versions in the comics of her costumes - that we not make it like a bathing suit-type, as they say.

PS: How did you go about choosing the street clothes Carol wears, since it's a decade as iconic as the '90s? It has everything from grunge and plaid to bright colors and neon.

SMH: There was a lot of talk about that, because the '90s, as you know, were quite fashionable. We were trying to figure out something that looks '90s, but that's still attractive to the audience, and still fashionable. We looked through a lot of research of the '90s, and decided a character like her, that grunge is the way to go. We see her at a rock 'n' roll concert, and wearing '80s band t-shirts, so to keep it to that almost tomboyish image and attitude that she has, we decided that rather than going for neon spandex or something equally silly, that grunge was the best way to go. She ended up looking really cute in that [t-shirt and leather jacket]. In the end I think it was the right decision. There was also a lot of talk, of course, of choosing the band [that would be on her t-shirt].

PS: Yeah, was there a particular reason you chose Nine Inch Nails?

SMH: There was a lot of back and forth, because we thought about the music, but we also had to look at the logos. We looked at some logos of bands, and some of them are very busy and colorful and stuff like that, so even though their music could be appropriate for the character, it would be too distracting from her face. But Nine Inch Nails was kind of sweet and subtle. It's there, but your eyes don't keep going down, dragging your attention from her face.

PS: I also really loved the nameplate necklace that Lashana Lynch's character, Maria Rambeau, wears, which is a nice nod to the era - was that something you had custom-made for the film?

SMH: We actually found that! We were looking for it, obviously, and would've probably made it if we didn't find it. But yes, we got that, which was great because it's a special touch to a mother whose daughter is the center of her life. We knew that would be something that she definitely would have had. Of course, we did a lot of talking to Lashana about that.

PS: She looked great. By the end of watching the movie, I was convinced that I needed a flight-suit like hers.

SMH: I know, she just looks great, right? That's all her. Her acting, her attitude . . . she looks like a real pilot. She looked great, but looked like a real pilot, not like a character. Both girls are amazing, and it was so great to work with them.

PS: Since costumes can play a key part in communicating messages about a character that a casual viewer might not pick up on at first - was there any instance of that in this film? Or explicitly, any special details on Carol's suit that we might have missed?

SMH: That's an interesting question. Wow, that's very interesting. Yes, there actually was. Her jacket doesn't show up as much in the movie as I was hoping for, but her jacket. There was a lot of talk about her brown bomber jacket, that at the end of the movie you see her put back on. [Editor's note: Carol has a brown bomber jacket that is returned to her by Maria Rambeau's daughter, Monica, when she comes back to earth.] That jacket has a history, actually. We took this brown '40s jacket . . . you know the way in the '40s, how pilots had their plane's insignia or artwork on their backs, a lot of times, in the second World War. The artwork that was on their backs would be something cartoony, but in her case it was a fighter plane. The idea was that possibly that jacket had been from her grandfather, or something like that. Like she has something that's in the family, like a vintage '40s jacket that had been passed down from her grandfather. Obviously that never ended up in the story, and ultimately wasn't necessary, but it was one of those things that made it a little bit more interesting. It gives her history.

Why Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Will Probably Wait to Reveal Their Baby's Name

In case you've been living under a rock, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are going to be parents! Even though the Duchess of Sussex is expected to give birth in late April, the couple has chosen to keep the sex of the baby a surprise, which means for now, we can only speculate what the little one's name will be. The 37-year-old royal did admit, however, that she already has a "long list" of possible choices, but it'll be a while until we find out what she and Harry decide on.

Even after the baby is born, it could take days, or even a whole month until the moniker is revealed. While there is no specific rule that states that royals have to wait to publicly announce their children's names, commentator Victoria Arbiter told Town and Country that it's tradition. "On one hand there's a desire to inform the families before a public declaration is made, and any new parent appreciates having a little private time to get to know their new addition before the onslaught of announcements," she explained. "Royals, however, also have to consider the great responsibility in naming a new member of the family and I expect they want to be a hundred percent certain of their choice before announcing the name and sealing the baby's place in history."

Prince William and Kate Middleton waited two days after Prince George and Princess Charlotte's arrivals to announce their names to the public, while Prince Louis's was revealed four days later. Queen Elizabeth II, on the other hand, didn't share Prince Charles's name until a month later! Hopefully Meghan and Harry don't make us wait that long, because the suspense is already too much!

It Should Come as No Surprise That George and Amal Clooney Looked Exquisite at a Charity Gala

George and Amal Clooney have made yet another stunning appearance, following a glamorous date night at Buckingham Palace. On Thursday, the husband and wife of four years attended the People's Postcode Lottery Charity Gala at Scotland's McEwan Hall, and of course they looked like a true power duo. While Amal rocked a navy blue jumpsuit with a cinched waist, George remained dapper in a dark suit.

At the event, Postcode Lottery - which raises money for charities through a lottery subscription service - honored the Clooneys for their philanthropic efforts. "We are thrilled to be attending the People's Postcode Lottery Charity Gala in Edinburgh," George and Amal said in a statement. "It is a perfect setting to highlight the urgent need to protect millions of the world's most vulnerable people from human rights abuses."

George and Amal attended on behalf of their Clooney Foundation For Justice, which aims to promote systematic justice through courtroom and community equality. Ahead, view more photos of their special outing together!

8 Irish TV Shows to Binge-Watch This St. Patrick's Day

When I was growing up, St. Patrick's Day always inspired a mix of emotions in my house. On the one hand, America's take on St. Patrick's Day always struck us as kind of weird and comical (seriously, lads, where did you come up with the whole "top of the morning" thing?). But on the other hand, March 17 inspired an annual bout of homesickness for the country my parents had left - and that I'd always considered my second home. Ever reluctant to assimilate (at least within the privacy of their own home), my parents would stock up on Irish bacon and Barry's tea bags and blast the RTÉ (Raidió Teilifís Éireann) morning show on our kitchen speakers.

While it helped, nothing could compare to the therapeutic value of television. Irish wit and sentimentality translate pretty well onto the small screen, and curling up on the couch watching Father Ted never failed to make us feel like we were back home again, at least for a little while. So without further ado, allow me to introduce six streamable TV series that will provide you with an authentic Irish experience this St. Patrick's Day. Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhuit!

This Married Couple Brought the Heat and High Drama to Their Breathtaking Photo Shoot

There is something so romantic about running away with your lover and getting married in secret. If you find elopements irresistibly sexy, then you will absolutely love this themed photo shoot. Even though Nancy and Enoch are already married, they channeled eloping lovers for this canyon shoot in Page, AZ, and we have to say . . . it's hot.

Nancy wore a sexy striped dress with a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit for the steamy photos within the canyon. The red-hot hues of the canyon made for the perfect backdrop to this sexy photo shoot. The pair then changed into wedding attire for the elopement shots on the top of Horseshoe Bend - Enoch wore a tuxedo, and Nancy changed into a strapless mermaid-cut wedding gown. The views of the canyon are seriously breathtaking. If you weren't considering eloping before, you might just change your mind!

"As a photographer, this was a vision, and I am so glad that I am able to share it with the world," said photographer Victoria Taylor. See their gorgeous photos ahead.

How to Read a Cannabis Label Like a Pro

The following post was originally published on Miss Grass.

Scrutinizing cannabis products doesn't have to be a complicated process. Once you know your way around a label, shopping for anything from flower to food will be easy as pie.

Really understanding any given cannabis product is a whole lot more nuanced than just knowing how much THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) or CBD (cannabidiol) is in it. But that doesn't mean that gathering intel on your chosen products has to be overwhelming. There are a few simple things to know that will make the whole familiarizing-yourself-with-weed thing a lot easier.

To create repeatable and comfortable experiences, it's important to educate yourself about what you like and what works for your composition in which situations. Without properly understanding that, you're bound to have a few less-than-desired experiences. The idea is to get you equipped with a basic understanding because, in the end, getting to the point where you can scan a label and be ready to make a decision is more than a timesaver: it's the key to having a consistently good experience.

Terpenes

Until we're sure of every part of cannabis's function, too many variables can define a strain or cultivar. One such variable is the terpene profile. Terpenes are the natural, aromatic oils from plants which affect taste and fragrance. You'd recognize the presence of terpenes in things like citrus, mangoes, flowers, peppercorns, and clove, for instance. When paired with cannabis, terpenes can impact your overall experience - which is known as the entourage effect. Of the 200 or so terpenes that have been found in cannabis, the most common ones provide the scents we love to huff straight out of the jar, like limonene, myrcene, pinene, piperine, eugenol, and linalool. However, they also drive the high.

If you familiarize yourself with the most popular terpenes, it gives you the baseline you need to infer the taste as well as the head and body effects you'll be working with.

Cannabinoids

Ratio is the thing to focus on when self-testing cannabis products. Precise cannabinoid ratios are easy to achieve in tinctures, vapes, and edibles where concentrates and isolates form the active dose. But in flower - the unprocessed part of the plant we smoke - it's much more dependent on the cultivation and curing process.

Ratios can look like this:

  • 1:1 THC to CBD is a balance that won't overly intoxicate
  • 2:1 THC to CBD is for more of a 'stoned' effect; you can flip that ratio and have a high CBD result that's great for undoing too much THC

This is the most important part for those looking for a balanced high. Many people respond differently to THC, and finding the percentage that gives you the perfect dose is important. Cannabinoid percentages range from low fractions to 37 percent in some of the highest potency cultivars. Depending on your needs, THC potency can be a dealbreaker when it's not spot on. If you're a novice, staying under 20 percent THC is advisable. While strains are now hitting the upper 30th percentile, most of the 'strong' stuff you see on the market is in the 21-26 percent range. CBD will get into the 20s in an engineered CBD-rich strain, but typically it reaches around 4 percent in a common cultivar.

Lab Testing

Regulations are beginning to catch up with the demand for clean cannabis that's not harmful to those who consume it. States are using lab testing to ensure compliance with all pesticide rules, and oftentimes, the label is the place to find this information - unless you buy from a shop like Miss Grass that is committed to doing that vetting for you. Beyond pesticides, you'll want to look out for all manner of contaminants such as mold, solvents, pollution, animal waste, and even bugs. This information may not be presented on the label, but it doesn't hurt to inspect your cannabis flower for contamination and keep a keen eye out for product recall, especially for vape cartridges. Don't let the excitement to try a new product stop you from doing your homework.

Harvest Date

The harvest date of your cannabis is certainly not a sell-by date, but it can raise questions if it's not lining up with the shelf life of a product. When consuming products made with isolates and concentrates, the harvest date is relatively irrelevant, as concentrates don't degrade. But for smokeable flower, seeing anything with a harvest date that's older than six months can be a little alarming. In prerolled joints or loose flower, it would be best to avoid anything over half a year, as the cannabinoids and flavor can degrade after this much time. But sealed products like those canned in nitrogen or in vacbags are better for much longer - sometimes up to a year.

So, off you go. Take this information and buy the best cannabis you can find. It doesn't always have to be the most potent, the freshest, or the most expensive. Just make sure it's the right product for you.

Cleaning Your AirPods Is Super Easy - Here's How to Do It

AirPods, Apple's new take on the traditional headphones, have become increasingly popular in the years since their release, and understandably so. The wireless design allows for easier use, their battery life is great (15 minutes of charging equals 3 hours of battery life!), and they offer optimum sound quality. Not to mention they also have some serious live hacks that people can't get enough of. It seems that the hefty price tag (they retail for $159 on Apple's website) may be well worth the investment.

If you made the plunge from EarPods to AirPods, it's important to know how to keep them clean so they can sound, look, and feel their best. Thankfully, keeping these in tip-top shape is not too difficult, and can be done using everyday household items.

According to the Apple website, the best way to clean your AirPods is by using a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. A Q-tip is best for wiping down the microphone and speaker meshes, and if any debris is caught in either of these holes, you can gently use a soft-bristled brush, such as a small toothbrush, to dislodge it.

However, there's one very important detail you should keep in mind when cleaning your AirPods - they definitely cannot get wet. Neither the AirPods or their case are water-resistant, so be sure to keep any liquids away from them while cleaning.

A Hotel in New Orleans Is Offering a $15,000 Stay to the Guest With the Stickiest Fingers

Let's be real, we've all had that moment in a hotel where you talk yourself into stealing the tiny shampoo bottles and soaps, because they're going to throw them out after you leave anyway, right? But one hotel in New Orleans is encouraging guests to prove they can get away with taking more than just lavender-scented toiletries. The Roosevelt New Orleans, a Waldorf Astoria hotel, is hosting a contest in celebration of its 125th anniversary - and it's going to take a true thief to rake in the $15,000 prize. So how do you earn this extravagant reward?

"The person that offers up the most outrageous stolen item from our hotel between now and July 1, 2019 will receive seven free nights in our Presidential Suite, along with free private dinners cooked by the executive chef, and spa experiences," General Manager Tod Chambers told Condé Nast Traveler. "We'd estimate nearly 700 of our logoed Sazerac glasses are 'borrowed' from the bar during the holiday season alone. This is letting us recapture a little history and have some fun doing it," Chambers added. "In a way, knowing they have something that reminds them of our Roosevelt in their own homes? Well, that leaves us flattered," he said.

A one-night stay in the hotel would total $1,500 per night for the room alone, making the total prize worth $15,000 - way better than mini shampoos!

"In a way, knowing they have something that reminds them of our Roosevelt in their own homes? Well, that leaves us flattered."

Originally known as the Grunewald Hotel, which was founded in 1893, the hotel became the Roosevelt in 1923 and has since developed a rich history and seen thousands of guests, including musicians such as Louis Armstrong and Ray Charles. After 125 years, Roosevelt guests have had plenty of time to swipe more than their fair share of bathrobes, hotel keys, pillow covers, menus, vases, and hotel decor (sneaky rascals). Past guests can feel free to return any item from the hotel without judgment. One person even returned an entire tablecloth, and kudos to them for pulling off that creative escapade.

In order to enter the contest, you have to have visited sometime in the last century or so and gotten away with a pretty amazing keepsake - which means new guests are NOT encouraged to steal from the hotel (anymore). As far as limits to what can be returned? "We will accept any item from any time period in the building's hotel history for our Historic Giveback Contest," Chambers said. "We want to celebrate her entire past."

The winner of the contest will be announced during the hotel's 125th birthday bash in July. Keep reading or pictures of some of the items returned for the Giveback contest so far below.

Barack Obama Shared a Call to Action After the Tragic Mosque Shooting in New Zealand

Barack Obama offered his condolences following shootings at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, on March 15. "Michelle and I send condolences and strength to the people of New Zealand. We grieve with you and with the Muslim community," the former president wrote on Instagram. He shared his message alongside a 2015 photo of himself seated with a student wearing a hijab at a Dignity For Children Foundation classroom in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Obama added, "Every single one of us, every color, every creed, has a daily responsibility to rally against hate and bigotry in all their forms and to stand up for what is good, and decent, and true."

The shootings, which took place at the Al Noor Mosque and Linwood Islamic Centre, have been designated by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and New Zealand Police as a terrorist attack. According to the police's latest statement, 49 people were killed in the attack and 48 people are being treated at the hospital. A 28-year-old man and reported white nationalist has been charged with murder, and two others have been arrested in connection with the attack.

Speaking at a press conference following the attack, Prime Minister Ardern said, "We were not a target because we are a safe harbor for those who hate. We were not chosen for this act of violence because we condone racism, because we are an enclave for extremism." She added, "We were chosen for the very fact that we are none of these things. Because we represent diversity, kindness, compassion, a home for those who share our values, refuge for those who need it."

It's Time to Do Something About the Dropout Rate of Girls in Sports - and You Can Help

When Nike invited me to join forces with them and the city I love for Women Coach LA - a new program to encourage young women to embrace their athleticism - I was humbled and ecstatic. If you saw Nike's powerful "Dream Crazier" ad during the Oscars, you'll have an idea of what's motivating this effort: the dire need to shatter stereotypes around girls and women in sports.

Today's generation is the least active in history, and with Women Coach LA, we're setting a goal to recruit hundreds of new adult women in the city to become coaches - coaches who can serve as role models to girls by introducing them to the transformative power of sport, and by simply giving them someone to look up to. It will all culminate in the first-ever Nike Legacy Summit, where a new wave of women will be trained as coaches and leaders. Along with 29 incredible women - including football player Toni Harris and Nike Trainer and ultramarathoner Bec Wilcock (who happens to be my running coach!) - I'm working to get the word out in LA communities and invite other female athletes to set an example.

This is an effort that's especially meaningful to me. I personally know what a difference sports have made in my life, as a dancer, as a runner, and as someone who just likes to get moving. To get the chance to pass that on to the next generation feels like a culmination of all of those lessons and triumphs and failures. Lessons I've learned from the women who mentored me, triumphs and failures I've shared with the women I've called teammates.⁣

As a mentor with Write Girl, I see how it transforms young girls to get in touch with their voices and put their ideas out into the world - to give themselves the permission to speak up and out. I want young women to know that you can be artistic and athletic. To value their bodies for what they can achieve in a society that too often evaluates them for how they look. To discover the joy that comes from competing against the person you are now to become the person you'll be tomorrow.⁣

Join us on Saturday, April 6, at the inaugural Nike Legacy Summit. It promises to be a day filled with inspiration, education, and training for women aspiring to be role models and coaches to girls across LA. You can click here to register and learn more.

5 Ways Yoga Eased My PCOS Symptoms - and Completely Changed My Life

Like most women with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), I began suffering the symptoms of the disease long before I was diagnosed. In fact, it was roughly 11 years before a doctor handed down those results. While my high school peers were focused on climbing the social ladder, I skipped afterparties because I was too tired, attempted to cover my acne-ridden face with pounds of makeup, and struggled to squeeze into my pants. Most of all, I felt anxiety over the lack of control I had over my body.

No matter how many dermatologists I saw or leafy greens I ate, nothing really helped my acne, weight, moodiness, energy levels, and irregular cycle - or the anxiety that surrounded them - until I met Pooja Malhotra, founder of Yoga With Pooja, who swore by the practice's holistic healing qualities. To this day, she acts as a source of guidance for me (my yogic sherpa, if you will).

Years later, sticking to a consistent practice has kept most of my symptoms at bay, or at least given me a sense of control over my body. I won't lie and say my weight dropped, my skin cleared up, and my energy levels increased in months, or even a year. All that and more happened, but it took almost half a decade to curate a practice for myself that not only helped me monitor these symptoms but also get in touch with my body so I can anticipate them before they appear.

Now I know how to monitor my breath when I feel a pimple surfacing, what pose to hold longer in my Sun Salutation when I'm tired, and how to invert my body when I know I'm about to get moody with my boyfriend (bless that brave man). These are the five distinct ways my life changed after I adopted the yogi lifestyle.
