I Went to a Couples Resort With My Mom And It Was Actually Super Chill
I always thought I'd go on a tropical honeymoon in my twenties, but I never thought it would be with my mom.
That's right. I went on a honeymoon. With my mom. It's OK, I'm laughing too.
Let's clarify a few things. I'm single (quite contentedly, thank you very much) and my mom is (somewhat) recently divorced. So when I got an invitation to Sandals Royal Bahamian - yes, the couples resort - I knew I'd extend my plus one to my ride-or-die, Alicia. My mom. Hell yeah.
Listen: My idea of improving emotional intimacy between my mother and I isn't necessarily listening to "Bump n' Grind" and "I'll Make Love to You" over a lobster dinner.
My mom never went on a honeymoon, and when I told her I could take a plus one on this press trip, she actually broke down in grateful tears. I've never seen someone express such unencumbered gratitude and appreciation for a vacation. I knew then that no matter what happened on this unorthodox and unexpected trip, it'd be one for the books.
Perhaps you might envision that a couple of single gals at a couple's resort would end up like that part in the Sex and the City movie where a devastatingly single and dejected Carrie goes on her honeymoon to Mexico with her three best friends and just cries a lot. I assure you, this was the opposite experience.
I feel that oftentimes we think of "intimacy" as something only to be experienced between romantic partners, but the more I connect with friends and loved ones, the more I realize how false that notion is. This idea of emotional intimacy transcending romance was cemented on this trip.
But like, listen: my idea of improving emotional intimacy between my mother and I isn't necessarily listening to "Bump N' Grind" and "I'll Make Love to You" over a lobster dinner in the Bahamas. Call me crazy! However, it was f*cking hilarious. As was the pink and red crystal design spelling "LOVE" on our bed every night. And the romantic outdoor bubble bath set up for us on the back patio, complete with Champagne on ice and strawberries. No, I'm not kidding. And we couldn't help but crack up when a woman from New Jersey asked if we were a couple (OK, maybe I was more horrified than amused with that one). Even though these weren't things that we thought would bring us closer together, they totally did.
A couples-centric environment lends itself to creating a sense of emotional intimacy, allowing two people to truly open up, regardless of relationship dynamic. You're able to focus on the present moment and really just be there with each other, whether it's your best friend, your sister, your mom, or your significant other. Whaddup, female friendships!
Of course we got a couples massage. We're not schmucks!
My mom and I have always been close; despite having fairly opposite personalities, we have an inexplicably solid bond and unconditional friendship. Just when I thought we knew everything about each other, a hilariously offbeat mother-daughter honeymoon proved me wrong. With the stress out the window and our minds fully in the present, we were able to talk about things we've never brought up before, learning more about each other and our fears, hopes, past experiences, and dreams for the future.
Let me tell you, I was not expecting these kind of breakthrough moments, particularly with Ginuwine's "Pony" playing in the background. What can I say, life is weird.
This trip was filled with enough laughter to last a year, and enough relaxation and restoration to power me through several work weeks. Thanks, romantic couples massage! (Yep. Of course we got a couples massage. We're not schmucks! We know how this works!) I would highly, highly recommend this type of experience to anyone looking to deepen their relationship with another person, particularly a mother and daughter.
As two single gals at a honeymoon resort in the Caribbean that primarily focuses on romantic love, we definitely could've gone the "let's drown our sorrows in rum runners" route. Instead we celebrated how strong we've become as individual women, and the love we have for each other. And what an exceptional gift that is.
Travel and expenses for the author were provided by Sandals Royal Bahamian for the purpose of writing this story.
5 Things Everyone Is Afraid to Tell You About Getting Over Your First Love
I was 14 when I fell in love for the first time. We met on a warm Friday in May, shortly before our freshman year of high school ended, and by August, our parents were already warning us not to get too serious. Without the adult responsibilities of bills and jobs, all we had to focus on was each other. And we really, really did. We snuck out at night, laid underneath the stars, danced in the street, were each other's firsts for almost everything, and promised each other one chilly September night to never fall out of love. "It will always be you, kid," he said.
It was as if we were in on a secret that the entire world was naive to. We talked about getting married, thought seriously about finding a way to do it without our parents' permission, and mapped out our dreams for the future. He wanted to be a lawyer, me a writer. And while we knew we had not yet really entered the world, we relied on each other enough to want to tackle it together. I felt invincible, because I had found my closest, truest friend.
Of course, we broke up. We broke up several times. We fought about nothing and everything. But during our senior year, a few weeks after my 17th birthday, we broke up for the last time. And while we never got back together after high school, we followed each other to the same college.
The next four years were a blur. Being around each other without really being in each other's lives caused me more pain than I had ever known. My friends all offered the same advice, insisting that I just needed to give it time. But for me, time only made things worse. And while I was surrounded by so many people, I had never felt more alone. I knew I had to figure out how to move on on my own, I just had no idea where to start. Here's what I learned.
1. Sometimes time doesn't heal all wounds.
Despite what everyone told me, there was no special formula I could follow to get over him. Time just meant our past kept moving further away from me, alcohol made me emotional, and new relationships made me feel even more empty than I was before. After a few years, I even wept over the realization that the memory of the sound of his voice was beginning to fade. Instead of healing me like it was suppose to, time kept betraying me with every new day. Even today, when I think about it too much, it can be a little hard to breathe.
2. You eventually have to forgive yourself.
After we broke up, I punished myself because I thought I deserved to be hurt. I gave pieces of myself away to people who didn't deserve them and was reckless with my life because I stopped caring. I resented who I was, had no idea who I wanted to be, and buried myself under terrible things because of it. After four years of destruction, I knew I couldn't do it anymore. And as hard as it was, I started to forgive myself for the mistakes I made as a teenager. The person I was then wasn't there anymore, and I had to start acting like it.
3. Be alone. A lot.
I was born with an independent soul, but being on my own after my first heartbreak was more difficult than I had anticipated. It took me a really long time to realize that I had to stop searching for answers. Instead of trying to fill the void, I forced myself to feel every inch of it. And eventually, I started feeling comfortable not having anyone to call at night and started to enjoy the silence in between my thoughts.
4. Sometimes running away from your problems really is the answer.
We went to college 20 minutes from where we grew up, so by the time we graduated, I couldn't stand the sight of the city anymore. Everywhere I went was stained with memories and when I started to google things like "how do I survive this," I knew I needed to get out. Less than three months later, I packed up and moved to Ireland. I had studied abroad there in college and for some strange reason, Ireland felt like home to me. I knew next to no one when I moved back, but the second I stepped off that plane, my sadness suddenly lifted. I fell in love . . . with the people, the places, new friends, and most importantly, myself. I saw beautiful places not to share them with anyone else, but to make my own memories. And instead of wishing for happiness, I started insisting upon it. I brought myself back to life, and I will always be proud of that.
5. It may never completely leave you.
I've been in love twice in my life, once with him and once now, with the Irishman I met eight years ago. And while I constantly question how I lucked into the life I have now, with the man I have now, there will always be a small corner of my heart that will remain closed. The corner that I sometimes still can't believe is standing after what it went through. The corner that still stings at the thought of what once was and what could have been. The corner that I know would surely shake if I were to ever see him again. But it's there, and I'm here, living out the dreams we had talked about accomplishing together. And while getting over him was the hardest thing I've ever done, when my future daughter asks me about the great, big, life-changing love of my life, I'll smile and say, "You're looking at her."

When Does the iPhone 11 Come Out? You Probably Don't Have to Wait Too Much Longer
Apple releases have become somewhat iconic pop-culture moments, from dramatic product presentations to the long lines around city blocks when a new gadget is finally available. Most recently, it was the launch of Apple News Plus, the Apple credit card, Apple TV Plus, and Apple Arcade. And shortly before that, Apple announced the launch of the new versions of the iPad Air and iPad Mini. But the hot ticket item is always the new iPhone.
While three new iPhones recently launched in September and October of 2018 (the iPhone XS, the iPhone XS Max, and the iPhone XR), people are ready for the iPhone 11. But when is it coming out?
Apple has been super tight-lipped about it so far, but rumors among tech blogs are banking on a September 2019 launch, since September seems to be a popular month for iPhone launches. According to Expert Reviews, "Its last three flagship iPhones were announced on September 21 (iPhone Xs), September 12 (iPhone X), and September 22 (iPhone 8) in 2018, 2017, and 2016 respectively." They're also predicting the iPhone 11 will be foldable (what?!).
The team at Tech Radar also predict the iPhone 11 will be all about the camera, writing about rumored leaked photos: "All of the attention so far has been to the back. The images show three cameras in a central block on the back, a back which looks to be made of glass." We can't wait!
Costco’s Charging $139 For a 3-Visit Universal Studios Ticket (Pssst, 1 Day Is Usually $109+!)
Attention, thrill seekers! We love a good roller coaster, too, and our kids can't get enough of their favorite characters and worlds - especially those in Universal Studios (hello, Mr. Potter!) - which is why we were jazzed when we stumbled upon a seriously incredible ticket deal from Costco. For $139, you can get one three-visit ticket to Universal Studios Hollywood, and psst, usually a one-day ticket starts at $109 ($103 for kids).
And what's more is you don't have to visit the parks three times in the same vacation - the ticket stays valid within 12 months of your first visit, so you have a ton of wiggle room.
Costco's Universal Studios Hollywood Ticket Details
- The three-day ticket is an e-ticket, which is valid once registered online.
- You must select a first visit date when registering for the first time (if you're not sure when you're going, you can register for the first time at a later date).
- Advanced registration is required for each visit to the parks (if you don't show on the date you choose, it still counts as a visit day, unfortunately).
- The ticket is valid for the selected first visit date and two return visits within 12 months of selected first visit date.
- Registration may close within seven days prior to any visit date (so plan ahead, especially in peak months!).
- The following blackout dates apply: Dec. 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31 in both 2019 and 2020.
So what are you waiting for? Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter await!

How Celebrating Passover Brought Me Closer to My Catholic Upbringing
Growing up in Dominican Republic, we didn't really get much exposure to religions outside Christianity. The country is mostly Catholic - which is how I grew up - and there are many Christian denominations that make themselves heard. Of course, I knew about Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, etc., although we only touched on them very briefly in school. It's one thing to read about them and know they exist; it's another to experience or live them.
It wasn't until I dated a Jewish man after I moved to NYC that I got my first real taste of something very different from what I was used to. I learned there are three main types of Judaism: reformed, who are more liberal and progressive and encourage people to choose the ways to be Jewish that mean the most to them based on traditions; conservative, who are those who feel that reformed Judaism is too radical and want to "conserve" Jewish traditions as they are; and orthodox, who believe that the laws of God are timeless and can't be changed.
My boyfriend at the time - let's call him David - and his family were conservative Jews. I met his parents maybe two months into our relationship. We flew to Florida, where they lived, and they welcomed me into their home like I was another one of their kids. The first thing I learned was that they kept kosher, and I quickly picked up how to move around a kosher kitchen so I could fully earn his mom's trust.
Basically, you can't mix dairy and meat per a rule in the Torah, and there's a third food category called pareve, which is foods that don't contain meat, milk, or their derivatives and you can eat with both meat or dairy dishes. Another big thing for me as a Dominican was that they didn't eat pork or shellfish.
Friday nights were for Shabbat dinner. After sundown, we'd say a blessing called kiddush, and after dinner, we'd rest until Saturday at sundown, when we'd recite a Havdalah blessing. During Shabbat, we weren't allowed to do things that involved "labor," as it was a day to relax and contemplate the spiritual aspects of life and also to spend time with family.
Another thing I learned was that holidays and celebrations are extremely important, which resonated a lot with my upbringing. David and his family welcomed me to Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, a bris, all the Shabbat dinners if we were in Florida, Hanukkah, Rosh Hashanah, and even Yom Kippur. They were patient with me and taught me all the ins and outs of each celebration and why it was important. My favorite of them all though was Passover.
Passover, or Pesach, is the commemoration of the Jewish Exodus from Egypt after generations of slavery and how the plague that killed all Egyptians firstborn "passed over" their homes.
The Seder marks the beginning of Passover, and it's a family dinner filled with rituals to remind you of the significance of the holiday. Each guest gets a book called Haggadah that explains each moment and includes all the prayers and what we need to do. The Haggadah that I would get had the text in Hebrew, the same text written in the Latin alphabet, and it included English translations under each line so I could easily follow along and understand what was happening, as I don't speak Hebrew.
It was a long dinner. There were many important moments, like blessings, washing the hands, breaking the matzo (unleavened bread), drinking wine, and singing, but the moment that really made me emotional was the "four questions." The youngest able person at the table - in my case, it was David's cousin Leah who was 12 at the time - asks: "Why is this night different from all the other nights?" and there is a particular question for each thing that's done.
The answers explain that matzo is eaten because their ancestors couldn't wait for the bread to rise when fleeing; that maror, or bitter herbs, remind them of the bitterness of slavery; that you dip your vegetables twice in saltwater because the first time is replacing tears with gratitude, and the second one is the sweetening of their burden; and that they recline at the Seder table because that's what "free" persons used to do while slaves stood.
It really got to me because this specific part is what's really passing the traditions to the younger generations. Seeing the whole family there, sitting together, sharing these moments, made me feel really grateful that they included me, that they became my second family away from home, that they made their home a safe space for me, and that they also had my back.
I usually say I'm very lucky because my first biggest "culture shock" experience was not as "shocking" as it should've been - there was a family behind it who was also willing to teach me. It made me realize that for me, personally, it doesn't matter your cultural or religious background, as long as we have that common ground called family.
I'm lucky to have a healthy relationship with my own family. I know that's not the case for many, and to find someone who also had that same type of relationship with his was something that made the whole process much more seamless. I learned so much about Judaism, and I appreciate the traditions even more. And, as I was reading and learning more about it, I found out that Jesus's Last Supper, which Catholics remember on Maundy Thursday, was a Passover Seder dinner, and that's why Passover and Semana Santa are somewhat aligned.
So, as someone who was raised Catholic, being part of a true Jewish Seder made me understand my own religion a little better, gave me context, and brought me a little closer to home.
Netflix's Someone Great Starring Gina Rodriguez Is the Rom-Com For You and Your BFFs
Send out your raising hands emoji, because Netflix is back with another rom-com to fall in love with - and it's all about badass female friendships and self-love.
Someone Great starring Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin), Brittany Snow (Pitch Perfect), and DeWanda Wise (She's Gotta Have It) brings us on an emotional roller coaster filled with first heartaches, the importance of a girl squad, and navigating life in New York City in your late 20s.
Jenny (Rodriguez) is an aspiring music journalist that scores her dream job at Rolling Stone. But, while her career is taking off and moving her to San Francisco, her relationship takes a tumble when her boyfriend Nate (Lakeith Stanfield) breaks up with her after nine years together.
Instead of spending another day drowning her sorrows in booze, her best friends Blair (Snow) and Erin (Wise) come over for some TLC. She brings up an idea to have one last hurrah with the girls before she leaves. She's determined to get into one of the hottest events in the city, but scoring tickets seem impossible. This leads them on a wild journey of weird Craigslist meetings, unexpected hookups, and awkward run-ins with an ex's cousin.
The movie sets it up to rally around your best friends, forget about the guy, and just have fun. However, it's the moments where Jenny reminisces on the highs and lows of her relationship that pulls on the heart strings. From their first accidental meeting to their first "I love yous," you follow along as she goes through the stages of grief. Also, there's no surprise how quick Gina Rodriguez makes us cry and feel her character's pain. She's not shy from pouring her heart out if you've seen her emotional scenes on Jane The Virgin.
Whether you haven't been through a breakup or the memories are all too familiar, every flashback is like a punch to the gut. But before you opt out on a crying fest, let me remind you it's still a comedy. While your tissue box will never leave your side, the moments of laughter outweigh the tears. From Jenny's mimosa green juice blend to Blair's clingy boyfriend, the connection between the three women brought a lighter side to the film.
It's really the small moments that capture how special their friendship is. From side jokes like "Bad Blair" to displaying their vulnerability, they try to figure out their next chapter together. The film lets us learn more about Blair and Erin without making them side characters to boost Jenny's ego. One sweet moment that stood out was Jenny's memory of her and Nate in the bodega. One touch of a Diet Coke and Selena's "Dreaming of You" playing in the background brought back memories of a singing session that had the girls singing along at the top of their lungs and getting kicked out for it. They support her decisions (even when they didn't agree at times) and let her grieve in her own way.
The power of a female friendship is the catalyst for this rom-com. It portrays a college friendship transitioning to adulthood with the pressures of figuring out who they are. But it's Jenny realizing she has to choose herself in the end that makes this film empowering. At first, she believed their breakup was only because of the long distance, but it was many factors that were leading up the fallout. She's starting a new chapter in her life and walking into adulthood with a new perspective.
But if you're still not convinced to watch the film, the surprising guest appearances, the street fashion (looking at you Latina AF shirt), and the killer soundtrack featuring powerhouse Lizzo should do the trick. Also, it was directed and created by female director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, so if that's not persuasive I don't know what is.
Schedule a movie night with your besties, grab some popcorn, and stream Someone Great on Netflix today!
What to Do With Used or Leftover Charcoal
Your outdoor grilling soirée was a hit, and all that's left to do is pack away leftovers and dump out your grill full of charcoal ash and spent hickory chips. But before you upend that Weber, take care to dispose of the mess safely (ash can still be hot!) and properly.
To dispose of charcoal and wood ash: Let the ash cool for 48 hours. You can speed up this process by pouring water over the hot charcoal and stirring it very carefully. When the ash has cooled completely, wrap it in aluminum foil, and place it in a noncombustible outdoor trash bin.
If you used additive-free lump charcoal: Fertilize your plants! Charcoal ash contains potash, an important nutrient for some plants. It's also a great way to increase the pH of the soil.
When you have a bag of used charcoal (and not briquettes with additives) sitting around your garage, there are a number of ways to use it up, even if grilling isn't on this Summer's agenda:
- Keep a few pieces in a perforated plastic bag in the refrigerator to kill odors.
- Feed your compost pile to increase the carbon content.
- Place a lump at the bottom of a flower vase to make cut flowers last longer.
- Suppress garden weeds and maintain soil moisture by using charcoal as a mulch.
- Mix crushed charcoal with orchid potting medium to increase the alkalinity.
- And, of course, keep them around for Winter snowman faces!
Chocolate-Stuffed Marshmallows Are Here to Take Your S'mores Game to the Next Gooey Level
Look, I love s'mores just as much as the next person, but I always find myself wishing the chocolate layer was just as gooey as my half-burnt marshmallow. If you, too, have resorted to shoving chocolate bar pieces into the center of your marshmallow so they actually melt, I have some game-changing news for you: chocolate-filled marshmallows are hitting shelves soon.
Aptly dubbed Stuffed Puffs, the confections look like plain ol' marshmallows from the outside, but just one bite reveals a sweet chocolaty center just waiting to be melted over an open fire (and subsequently devoured, of course). These magical marshmallows will be available for purchase at Walmart stores for $4 starting April 28 - just in time for your camping adventures. The countdown starts now!

To me, printed pants are one of those items I admire on other women but often struggle with styling on myself. Meghan Markle's Essential Travel Bag Now Comes in a Mini Version
If we're talking Meghan Markle's bags, they range from an everyday Everlane tote to a two-toned Strathberry purse that has the whole internet buzzing. Seeing as Meghan might not be a fan of clutches, we were surprised to discover that her routine airport look includes a bright orange pouch.
But this isn't just your average zip-around design - it's actually a tech case from Stow London ($575) that Meghan has referred to as an "essential." Stow also created a miniature version of Markle's favorite travel pouch ($410), now available for preorder. Inside, there are plenty of compartments for USB cords, a passport, credit cards, headphones, and the like, and Meghan's tucked it under her arm to catch a flight on numerous occasions. Ahead, get all the details on both versions, shop the accessories if you love them, or pick up a similar version.
Shop Karlie Kloss's Project Runway Looks as Each Episode Airs - You're Welcome
Heidi Klum handed over the reins to Karlie Kloss, who's the new host of Project Runway. This season, the winner will be rewarded the largest prize in the show's history, which includes $250,000 and another $50,000 to put toward a design studio. Karlie joins Christian Siriano, who replaced Tim Gunn, returning judge Nina Garcia, and new judges Brandon Maxwell and editor Elaine Welteroth on the panel, and the new cast have certainly not disappointed us so far. Karlie has taken her fans along on her journey, posting behind-the-scenes shots from the Project Runway set and, of course, sneak peeks of the outfits she wears on the show. We're particularly excited to track her style as each episode airs and she attends Bravo parties, so watch this space as we provide you with all the details, and even some inspired shopping, too.
Oh, Hello, Mary-Kate Olsen's Awesome Red Mules, I See You
I can almost (I said almost!) imagine Mary-Kate Olsen walking out of the house alongside her sister, Ashley, in all black. But then, no. "Let's give them something to talk about," she might have thought, slipping into these red buckle Manolo Blahnik mules for the Youth Grand Prix Gala in NYC.
MK drew extra attention to her footwear by wrapping a gold chain around her ankle. There's no denying that, despite her long black coat, crocodile purse, and even the striking pendant Ashley styled with her oversize blazer, we are completely distracted by Mary-Kate's pumps when we look at this picture.
While $695 is a serious price to pay for shoes, there's no denying that these will look good with everything in your wardrobe, from midi skirts and leopard print to white t-shirts and jeans. Plus, if you don't quite feel like splurging on a luxury designer, we found plenty of similar silhouettes for you to shop ahead.
The Dresses at Kourtney Kardashian's Birthday Were Even Wilder Than the Party
Happy birthday, Kourtney Kardashian! The TV star and Poosh developer turned 40 proudly, with an incredible party to prove it. There were wild performances, monogrammed tequila bottles, and personalized napkins with some of Kourtney's most memorable quotes. Oh, and there were vintage Versace dresses to stare at for days.
Kim Kardashian wore one off the 1997 runway, complete with sequins stitched into a floral pattern and a mesh skirt. Meanwhile, Kourtney was definitely "most interesting to look at" (which seemed to be the saying of the night) in a sheer-paneled gown that showed plenty of skin. Kendall wore a rose-colored dress with a thigh-high slit, while Kylie dazzled in gold sparkles and Khloé modeled a custom silver Yousef Al-Jasmi look that took three weeks to complete with the help of her stylist.
So, if you think the Kardashian-Jenners just whip up these over-the-top bashes in an instant, you're mistaken. And with dresses like these, we're 100 percent sure Kourtney's 40th will be one of the most unforgettable extravaganzas to date. Keep reading to see what everyone wore.
J Lo and ARod's Matching Crocodile Bags Will Make You Believe in Soulmates
First, they wore matching sunglasses for a business meeting. Then, they took things to the next level and codesigned sunglasses. Now, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are proving that they have the same taste in all accessories, and I'm still begging my boyfriend to switch from sweats to jeans on a night I'm wearing heels. What is life?
The newly engaged duo were spotted at Hudson Yards in NYC, clearly dressed to impress. Alex wore a navy suit, aviators, and double-monk-strap loafers, while J Lo chose an LBD with leopard cuffed sleeves, cat-eye lenses, and boss-lady pumps. While she toted her crocodile Hermès Birkin, Alex stood by her side with a matching textured briefcase.
Also, they somehow managed to find each other's hands just in time for the cameras to flash. Does couple life get any better than this? I really don't think so. Scroll ahead to take in the romantic view from all angles, and if you think you may be able to persuade your SO into a matchy-matchy purchase, get to shopping, too.
We Can Already Envision a Few Stars Wearing Everlane's New Sneaker (Cough, Meghan Markle)
Everlane is stepping into a new footwear line. The minimalist (practically utilitarian) brand just announced the launch of Tread by Everlane, a unisex sneaker brand intent on offering the most environmentally low-impact sneakers on the market with its recycled materials, a nearly plastic-free sole, and carbon-neutral production process.
Aesthetically, the sneakers definitely fall in line with Everlane's other designs. Available in pale pink, gray, off-white, glacier, butter, navy, and black for $98, the sneakers feature a simple logoless design with an of-the-moment chunky sole.
Previously released shoes by the brand have a dedicated following, with many of them amassing wait lists with thousands of shoppers. So it should come as no surprise that ahead of the April 25 release date, the Tread sneakers already have a wait list available online. Check them out ahead to see if you'd like to add yourself to what we can only assume is already a rapidly growing wait list.

These Are the Antihumidity Hair Products Editors Love For Fending Off Frizz
Like the N'Sync song that you haven't been able to get out of your head all day, frizz won't go away without a little help. With the many different hair products out there, it's hard to pick out what works best to smooth your hair after humidity has gotten to it, so POPSUGAR editors have done the legwork for you. On this list, you'll find a treatment that one editor says is like "a raincoat for your hair," a leave-in that keeps ringlets from defying gravity, and a hairspray in a dispenser that is easy on the environment - even when it's not being kind to your curls.
There is nothing wrong with frizz, but if you don't like how it's working with your hairstyle, these products are sure to do the trick. Ahead, see our picks for the best antihumidity hair products.
We're Shocked at How These Face Wipes Remove Waterproof Makeup in Seconds
Maybe you just came home from a late night out with your friends. Maybe you put on more makeup than usual and know that removing it is going to take longer than you want it to. Whatever the reason, there are times you don't want to wash your face, and I understand that.
While I completely feel your pain, I admit I do end up washing my face in those scenarios, and I noticed that one beauty product made the process more bearable: the Hydro Peptide HydroActive Facial Cleansing Cloths ($20). While each of the pack's 30 wipes is gentle on the skin, it powerfully removes everything from waterproof mascara to a full-coverage foundation. It does so in just one clean sweep, while using a second cloth leaves you feeling as though you've cleaned the dirt and excess oils off your face and that you applied a skin-softening serum.
Full disclosure: they are a little on the pricier side when it comes to face wipes. A pack retails for about $20 - but if it gets me into my bed faster, I'd say it's worth every penny. See the makeup-removing cloths that pack a punch ahead.

Considering how many products the brand sells, it's easy to get to $50 pretty quickly while taking home a pretty significant haul. This Brand Finally Figured Out How You Can Give Yourself the Perfect Mani
Nail salon appointments tend to be expensive, but most people don't believe they'll be able to paint their nails at home as well as a professional can. LA-based brand Olive and June is out to change that with its new launch, The Studio Box ($50).
In March, Olive and June launched its revolutionary "Poppy" product, a millennial-pink silicone grip that you attach to your polish brush for greater control. Squeezing the Poppy as you glide the brush onto your nails finally makes painting with your nondominant hand a breeze.
Now the brand is launching a new handy set, The Studio Box ($50). Inside, you'll find everything you need for the best at-home manicure possible. The box includes a mat to paint your nails on (so you don't get polish all over your coffee table), nail tools, a Poppy, and a box to store it all in. The brand's really thought of everything to make the process as fool-proof as possible and includes a "cleanup brush" you dip into polish remover to wipe away any color you may have gotten on your fingers and cuticles.
Another perk? The box features a spot to place your phone on so you can easily take Instagram photos of your manicure and watch nail art tutorial hands-free.
Check out the products, ahead.
Justin Bieber Finally Cut His Hair, and Baby, Baby, Baby Ooh
Justin Bieber is converting everyone into a Belieber with his new haircut. The image of his new style was posted by his wife, Hailey Baldwin, along with a caption filled with gratitude for their relationship. "Insanely proud of who you are and who you're becoming... I love you more every single day," the model wrote.
The singer has mostly stuck to chin-length hair throughout the last year, with the exception of a buzz cut in November which was showcased on his and Baldwin's Vogue cover. Since then, he's been keeping things shaggy, but this new photo might be evidence that he's going back to his signature dirty-blond style of short on the sides and longer on top.
Check out photos of his hair throughout its many lengths, ahead.
Hailee Steinfeld Made a Video of Her Getting Her First Piercing, and It’s So Relatable
Hailee Steinfeld "finally did it." The actress posted a video of herself getting her ears pierced for the first time. In the video, which she captioned, "I finally did it," her piercer enters the room saying, "Yeah, you ready?" Steinfeld definitely looked like she was, having pulled up her hair and taken one last look at her bare earlobes.
It's understandable that you might be shocked that she just got the piercings, as she has been seen on red carpets and at events with jewelry dangling from her ears. "I've worn clip-ons before to events, which is always super nerve-racking because I'm paranoid they're going to fall off," Steinfeld previously told POPSUGAR. She also said that she hadn't gotten her ears pierced because she was "too indecisive" about making the decision.
The video closes with her looking in the mirror, then saying, "By the way, that shit hurts." Ahead, see Steinfeld's newest piercings.

GOT: If You're Wondering About Those White Walker Spirals, Here's What They Mean
Warning! Spoilers for the Game of Thrones season premiere ahead.
The final season premiere of Game of Thrones has a lot going on, and we're obviously not even close to being done processing it. There are family reunions, tense revelations, and clashes over power that are colder than the North in the thick of a long Winter. But of course, the Night King isn't about to let a party get started without him! Just when we think the craziness of the episode is finally dying down, the undead leave a message for the living in the form of their own grotesque art project, letting everyone know that war is quickly approaching.
In one of the last scenes of the episode, Tormund Giantsbane, Beric Dondarrion, Eddison Tollett, and other survivors of the Wall's destruction are shown at Last Hearth, which is the home of House Umber. The homestead looks entirely torn up, and the group comes across the sight of little Lord Umber, strung up and surrounded by severed human limbs arranged in a familiar spiral pattern. As the men discuss their next move, young Ned's eyes pop open, and he begins shrieking and trying to attack them. Beric lights him on fire with his sword, but he continues screaming for a while afterward until he finally dies (again).
If the creepy arrangement of limbs has you scratching your head because you swear you've seen it before, you're not alone. The spiral - and similar symbols - is a familiar calling card of the Night King's gang of ghouls. It was first seen in season one, when White Walkers kill a group of wildlings and arrange their bodies in the pattern. Jon comes across some of the Night's Watch horses cut up and arranged in a similar spiral in season three and also sees the pattern carved into the walls of the caves in Dragonstone, which he reveals to Daenerys before they begin mining it for dragonglass.
But the first known use of the spiral is by the Children of the Forest, seen in season six when the Three-Eyed Raven shows Bran the creation of the Night King. The Children have a First Man (played by the actor who portrays the Night King) tied up to a weirwood tree at the center of the spiral pattern, where they stab him with a dragonglass dagger, thus turning him into the first White Walker, and later King. The White Walkers adopt the spiral pattern as a sort of signature, using it as a way to display the bodies of their victims - including the poor little Umber.
As of the season premiere, there has been no straight answer on what the symbol means exactly; we just know that it's basically the calling card of the Night King's army. It's obvious that the pattern meant something sacred to the Children of the Forest and perhaps had some magical quality to it, since they used it when making the Night King.
We don't know if it has the same properties when the undead create it, since all the pattern seems to do now is creep people out. Perhaps we'll learn if there's any significance to these symbols in the last few episodes of the series, but maybe not. There is one thing that's certain: the Night King is coming for Winterfell, and it's going to be a bloody mess no matter who wins.
