Meet the New Royals! The Crown Gives a Glimpse of Season 3 With These Images

It's officially a new chapter of The Crown. In July 2018, Netflix released the first look at Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth II for season three, and now we finally have plenty of glimpses of the upcoming season. The English actress will be taking over for Claire Foy, who played the role for the first two seasons.

Colman isn't the only new cast member for season three. Since season three will take place in the late '60s and into the late 1970s, the series is replacing the main cast with new, older actors to more accurately portray the passing of time. Helena Bonham Carter has signed on to play Princess Margaret and Ben Daniels is on board as as Antony Armstrong-Jones.

In addition to those casting updates, Tobias Menzies will play Prince Philip and, eventually, season four will introduce Princess Diana. See the first glamorous images from the upcoming season ahead.

Tess Holliday on How to Deal With Body-Shamers: “They’re Not Paying Your Bills”

First thing's first - body-shamers don't phase Tess Holliday. The plus-sized model told POPSUGAR that when her size is being attacked on social media, she doesn't really care. "Calling me fat is nothing to me," she said. "I know I'm fat."

Though Holliday is able to tune out any negativity that comes her way, she has solid advice for those who might feel disheartened by negative comments they've received.

"For everyone else - do your best to remember that social media is not real life," she said. "These people don't know you. They're not paying your bills, and the best thing you can do is just to block it out and be kind to yourself and I fully think that taking social media breaks is totally healthy and we should do it often."

She explains that she believes the attacks are a projection of the person's unhappiness and that it has nothing to do with who she is as a person and what she does.

Holliday's career has been centered around spreading the message of body positivity - having created the viral #effyourbeautystandards hashtag, which kicked off a community that encourages people to share their stories.

It's this drive to empower others that drove the kismet collaboration between her and self-tanning brand Isle of Paradise. The newly-minted spokesperson for the brand's "Get Body Posi" Campaign - which aims to put body acceptance above beauty industry standards - was influenced by how she'd aligned with its messaging and its efforts to collaborate with people who are making an impact in the body-positive community.

Let's Rewind For a Sec and Talk About What Happened With Fischer and Caputo on OITNB

Susan Fischer (Lauren Lapkus) may have been one of Litchfield's most gullible guards on Orange Is the New Black, making her an easy target around the prison. When she isn't listening in on the inmates' phone calls, she's fighting off office advances, both from co-workers and from the prisoners alike. Her ongoing dating chronicles became a forefront in her character's storyline, especially with one of her biggest admirers: warden Joe Caputo (Nick Sandow).

Fischer, innocent as she is, often gets hazed by her fellow correctional officers as the newest member and one of the only women on the team. Interestingly enough, Caputo seems to be at the head of the hazing. Fischer is often encouraged to be tougher on the women, strictly referring to them as "inmates." This conflicts with her deeper belief that they are all equal, all human, all with the right to be treated with respect.

It becomes clear that Caputo has developed a bit of crush on Fischer. It's not entirely clear though if this is why he seems to be a little tougher on her than the other officers, or if it's from the pressure he's getting from the higher-ups at Litchfield. Regardless, Fischer definitely feels the heat and even steps out of her shell to be stricter with the women, in effort to please her boss. The waters only get murkier for these two.

Poor Caputo's chances come crashing down when Fischer brings her boyfriend, Stephen, to the prison's Christmas Pageant. It's OK, Caputo, this also shoots down any chance for inmates Nicky (Natasha Lyonne) and Big Boo (Lea DeLaria), both with crushes of their own on Litchfield's most gullible guard.

Season two, however, brings some new excitement to the Caputo-Fischer saga. Fischer returns to work, single and ready to mingle. Unfortunately for Caputo and her other admirers though, Litchfield's newest bachelorette finds a new interest in Joel Luschek (Matt Peters) from the electrical department. Caputo doesn't give up though. Hoping to secure a date, he invites her to his band's performance at a local bar. She accepts, but turns the night into an office outing with their co-workers, rejecting Caputo once again.

The second season also brought out new pressure as the warden inflicts a higher shot quota, pushing the guards to cite the inmates for poor behavior. The officers don't take the pressure too lightly. The additional citations bring on mounds of additional paperwork and appear to be unfair to the inmates. Always one to stand up for all the women's rights, Fischer steps in. It all comes to blows when she challenges Caputo for his unfair policy, creating a more tense work environment for all the guards. Caputo retaliates and immediately fires her, terminating any chance they ever had. If there ever was one?

Fischer is sent packing with one final scene alongside Nicky, turning her cheek for the last time at yet another one's of Nicky's rule-breaking antics. And off she drifts, without a Caputo in sight . . .

Exclusive: Awkwafina Discusses the Real Life "Actual Lie" That Inspired The Farewell

Rather than being based on a true story, A24's The Farewell has been marketed as drawing inspiration from "an actual lie." And now, in our exclusive featurette from the critically acclaimed indie film, we have a bit of insight into what gave writer and director Lulu Wang the big idea.

The Farewell tells the story of Billi (played by Awkwafina), a young Asian American woman who discovers that her beloved grandmother Nai Nai (Shuzhen Zhao) has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Although Nai Nai has been given a short time to live by doctors, her family decides not to tell her that she's dying. Instead, in a twist truly stranger than fiction, they throw an impromptu wedding to unite their scattered family members and reconnect with the matriarch before she passes.

As Wang says in the clip, the story is "loosely based" on her own family, who kept their grandmother's stage four cancer diagnosis a secret and planned a wedding as a ruse to say goodbye. In order to properly showcase the story of "a white lie used to protect the ones we love," Wang knew she needed to find just the right actress to portray Billi. Fortunately, rapper, actress, and comedian Awkwafina was down for the role.

"She has to lie to her grandma out of love, and I think she's very conflicted with that," the Crazy Rich Asians star says of her character. "[The story] resonates with people of all races, I think. Everyone loves their grandma."

Watch our exclusive clip from The Farewell above, and then make sure you see the film in theaters now.

Confused by Cindy and Taystee's Beef on Orange Is the New Black? Here's a Recap

The riots may be over, but the ongoing aftershocks continue to rock the ladies of Litchfield, following season six's heartbreaking finale. A guilty conviction, a crumbled friendship, and a cold plate of hard injustice serve up the opening of Orange Is the New Black's seventh and final season. Two of its most prominent original characters, and arguably a fan-favorite duo, remain at odds. The beloved friendship between Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson (Danielle Brooks) and Cindy Hayes (Adrienne C. Moore) is seemingly no more. But is it really done for good?

Taking us back to season five, one of the prison's most infamous guards, Desi Piscatella (Brad William Henke), is accidentally shot by his own men. In an effort to clean up the mess, the heat turns to the inmates during an FBI investigation, ultimately leaving Taystee sitting in the hot seat. Two of her closest friends, Cindy and Suzanne Warren (Uzo Aduba), also known as "Crazy Eyes," are two of the only witnesses who can potentially save her.

All season six long, Cindy faces conflict between saving her friend and saving herself. Flashbacks of a young Cindy, pregnant with her daughter, Monica, remind her of what's out there on the other side of the prison walls: her reason to keep fighting and get out of Litchfield. When the pressure turns to Cindy, with fear of rattling the FBI's shady attempt to put the shooting to rest, she quietly gives an altered testimony. The testimony earns her immunity but also incriminates Taystee - a double-edged sword for the price of freedom.

Originally, Cindy believes Taystee will forgo the trial and take a plea deal. Taystee's fighting spirit and faith in her own innocence motivate her to do the opposite, forcing Cindy to eventually have to take the stand and testify against her friend. Cindy continues to champion for Taystee and support her through her ongoing legal battle to prove she's innocent, all while harboring her secret confession. Cindy struggles with agonizing back pain, brought on by the stress of lying to her friend. Apparently stabbing your friend in the back comes with a back pain of its own.

All comes to a head when Cindy faces Taystee in the courtroom. Cindy, prioritizing the chance to be part of her daughter's life, is riddled with guilt. Taystee's heartbreak at the betrayal of one of her closest friends is on full display. Even with a field of supporters from the Black Lives Matter movement and Caputo (Nick Sandow) by her side, Taystee feels completely alone.

In the end, Taystee is found guilty of shooting Piscatella. Even more painful for her is sitting with the idea that not only is she falsely accused by rigged system, but her best friend took part in it and lied to her face all trial long. Taystee remains stuck in Litchfield with her freedom floating away in the wind like a balloon until it's completely lost in sight.

Now, in the series' final season, the two old friends remain at odds. Only time will tell whether or not Cindy and Taystee can put the past behind them and reignite a relationship between them. Or did the betrayal cut just a little too deep for forgiveness in Litchfield?

Here's What It Means For a Player to Have the Advantage (or Ad) in Tennis

If you're new to tennis, you probably have some questions about the scoring. For example, you might see a player's score change to "ad," which is short for advantage.

This term is used only when a game is tied 40-all - meaning, each player has scored three times, otherwise known as deuce - and a player must then score two consecutive points in order to win. A player gains the advantage when they've scored once, because they only need one more point to win, while their opponent would need to score twice.

Outside of professional tennis, the term "ad" is also used in a few variations, depending on whether or not the player with the advantage is also the server at the time. Let's say you're serving when you get the advantage - you could say, "ad in" or "my ad." If the opposite happens, and your opponent gets the advantage on your serve, this would be called "ad out" or "your ad."

Either way, if the player without the advantage scores next, the score returns to 40-40, and play continues until someone scores twice in a row. As you can imagine, this can take a long time, especially at the elite level.

Lindsey Vonn on Life After Retirement: "I Want to Work and I Want to Work Hard"

If you looked up "success" in the dictionary, Lindsey Vonn's face might as well be there. The 34-year-old has the most World Cup victories - 82 - of any female skier and became the first American woman to win gold in the downhill ski event at the 2010 Winter Games. She skied her last race at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships on Feb. 10 and finished third, making her the oldest woman to win a medal at worlds. It also made her the first female skier to win medals at six different world championships. So, yes, Lindsey's career was defined by success, but she's also no stranger to injury. At the Red Bull's Celebration of Lindsey Vonn event this month, the now-retired athlete spoke to POPSUGAR about recovering from her most recent knee surgery, getting back to her new normal, and plans for the future.

Lindsey underwent surgery in early April for a torn lateral collateral ligament (LCL) in her left knee. This injury was sustained when she crashed while training in November 2018. Postponing surgery due to "obligations," as she wrote on her Instagram, further exacerbated the issue - the doctors found a meniscus tear and damage that required chondroplasty of her knee cap. Recovering this time around was hard, Lindsey said, because she wasn't going back to the sport she loves.

Lindsey told POPSUGAR, "I've had so many surgeries, it can be really mentally difficult, especially now that I didn't have anything to come back for. In the past, I always was just trying to get back quickly so I could ski, but now I don't have that, so it was basically just a quality of living that I was looking to get back to, to where I didn't hurt as much and was strong enough to be able to be athletic." The biggest thing that helped her through the initial rehab was staying positive and not getting herself down. Her support system - she specifically mentioned her dogs and her boyfriend, hockey player P.K. Subban - also helped. Taking care of what she eats and getting those workouts in, even if modified, currently keeps her energy up.

Lindsey has made a lot of progress since April's surgery (you can find footage of her back in the gym with a brace that same month). She still can't run, which she said she's OK with. She can't do any quick agility moves and has to "keep things in a very linear plane right now," she explained, adding that her focus is strengthening her quad, hamstring, and glutes on that left side, especially so they support and stabilize her knee.

"I want to work and I want to work hard."

For anyone recovering from an injury, Lindsey advised them to start slow and set goals but "don't get your expectations out of whack because you'll just get disappointed, and it'll deter you from going back to the gym." Even if walking 10 minutes is your starting point, that's completely fine, Lindsey said. Easing into recovery toward where you used to be is key.

In terms of her ventures ahead, whether they're through her female-focused Lindsey Vonn Foundation or otherwise - she's working on a beauty line and a memoir and has plans to go into movie production - Lindsey said that she's taking with her one major lesson from her ski career: "hard work pays off." Her plan is to surround herself with people who know what they're doing business-wise so that she can learn from them and find her footing post-retirement. "I want to work and I want to work hard," she stated, "and hopefully that translates into success."

The Orange Is the New Black Cast Says Goodbye to Litchfield at the Final Red Carpet Premiere

Say it ain't so! The end of Orange Is the New Black is almost here, and on Thursday, the cast came together to celebrate the show's seventh and final season at the NYC world premiere. The group - which included Taylor Schilling, Laura Prepon, Uzo Aduba, Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Brooks, Laverne Cox, Yael Stone, Selenis Leyva, Jason Biggs, Jackie Cruz, Jessica Pimentel, and Diane Guerrero - served their best looks as they hit the red carpet, and we almost shed a tear at the mere thought that this might be the last time we see the cast all together.

Ahead of the premiere, Danielle (who is currently expecting her first child) shared a photo of her red carpet evolution on Instagram, reflecting on her first-ever OITNB premiere. "It was my first carpet EVER and my teeth wouldn't stop chattering because I was sooo nervous. All these pictures hold a story but the photos I take tonight will mean the most, as I share them with the people who have become my family and with carrying the little Debbie cake inside this Taystee oven," she wrote. "It's the end of an era, and the beginning of so much more." Grab some tissues and see the cast at their final red carpet premiere before season seven drops on Netflix on Friday.

Orange Is the New Black Launched a Criminal Justice Reform Fund to Help Incarcerated Women

Orange Is the New Black is officially on a mission to help incarcerated women on and off screen. On Thursday, Netflix posted a YouTube video announcing the launch of The Poussey Washington Fund, which will support eight non-profit organizations focused on issues and themes relevant to the women throughout the series, including criminal justice reform, ending mass incarceration, and protecting immigrant rights.

The fund is named after Samira Wiley's character Poussey Washington, a Litchfield inmate who is accidentally suffocated during a prison riot by an untrained corrections officer. Following Poussey's death, her best friend Taystee starts a foundation in her name to help incarcerated women, and the show has since made it a reality. "Through the Poussey Washington Fund, our characters can live on and continue to make an impact after the show has come to an end," the show's creator Jenji Kohan told The Hollywood Reporter. "Taystee recognized an opportunity to make a difference for her fellow inmates, and we saw no reason why we couldn't launch our own initiative to have an effect in the real world."

In playing Poussey, Wiley has seen the impact that her character's story line and that of other characters has had on viewers. "We have seen how Orange Is the New Black has impacted you and people all over the world," Wiley said in the video announcing the initiative. "We've been honored to tell these stories of these characters, and we've learned first-hand that the system is failing women, both inside and outside of prison walls."

The eight programs supported by the fund aim to help women from all walks of life who are affected by the prison industrial complex in the United States.

"A number of [the programs] are led by formerly incarcerated women, which is really important to all of us who are associated with the fund," said Piper Kerman, the author of Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison, which inspired the Netflix series. "These are programs, quite frankly, that should be replicated in every state in the country . . . The Poussey Washington Fund has the potential to be really transformative to these organizations, and I believe the fans will absolutely rise to the challenge." In addition to supporting the foundation, Kerman continues to urge lawmakers to pass criminal justice reforms to improve conditions for female inmates.
