Can You Make It Through 22 Shirtless Jason Momoa Photos Without Passing Out?
Jason Momoa is like something built in a laboratory - if there was a laboratory devoted to crafting the finest human specimens on the planet. He's so ridiculously gorgeous that he has trouble not ripping out of his t-shirts, yet he's also a charmingly down-to-earth family man who we'd love even if he wasn't so beautiful. (But luckily for us, Jason is both ruggedly handsome and an extremely interesting guy, so we don't have to choose.)
Between bonding with his family and getting fit for movie roles, Jason occasionally graces social media with shirtless photos - a gesture that we don't take lightly. We've rounded up some of the sexiest snaps from this collection (and a few from his film career for good measure) for your enjoyment, because . . . why not? Just try not to pass out before you get to the end.
The New Owners of the Real-Life Conjuring House Confirm That It Is Indeed Freaky as Hell
A house that inspired an entire horror movie franchise is now home sweet home to one fearless couple. On June 21, Cory and Jennifer Heinzen purchased a farmhouse in Harrisville, RI, where the paranormal events re-created in The Conjuring purportedly took place. In an interview with Sun Journal, the couple said it wasn't long until spooky things started happening around the house.
Released in 2013, The Conjuring explores several supernatural occurrences that terrorized Roger and Carolyn Perron, as well as their five daughters, after they moved into the house in question in the early '70s. The family eventually sought help from famed paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, who also investigated the Amityville killings. Needless to say, the Perrons didn't stay in the house for too long.

Though the terrifying tale might make the average person run far away, the new homeowners are instead "fascinated" by it. In fact, Cory is a paranormal investigator himself, and he had visited the house before it went up for sale. "It's just like a piece of paranormal history, this house," he told the Sun Journal. Cory has also previously met with Andrea Perron, who grew up in the house and wrote about her experience in House of Darkness House of Light.
"You can tell there's a lot of things going on in the house."
The way Cory described the house, you'd imagine a Norman Rockwell painting. "We immediately fell in love with it," he said. "Eight-and-a-half acres, a river in the back and a pond, it's so serene down there, never mind the story behind the house, it's a beautiful home." It isn't without its quirks, of course. "We had doors opening, footsteps and knocks," Cory said. "I've had a hard time staying there by myself. I don't have the feeling of anything evil, [but] it's very busy. You can tell there's a lot of things going on in the house."
Whereas the previous owners complained about curious trespassers and fans of the film - ultimately suing Warner Bros. in 2015 - the Heinzens hope to open the house up to visitors and investigators after some repairs. Jennifer said, "I love that we have the opportunity to share the home with others." She added, "This whole journey has been both scary - for many reasons other than paranormal - and exciting all at once."

We Didn't Quite Know What We Were Getting Into Having Kids, but I'm Sure Glad We Did
Why do people choose to have kids? There are many perfectly valid reasons, because family is what you decide it is. For some, perhaps they feel like society expects them to. For others, maybe it's been a dream they've had since they were little. But, for me, I think I fall somewhere in-between. I never really envisioned my life without them, but I wasn't the person who had baby names picked out as a child.
My husband and I met in college when we were both young and extremely naive. We daydreamed about our future together: The types of jobs we'd have, where we'd live, and yes, even how many kids we'd have. For us, it was easy to do because we both saw ourselves as parents. I figured that the time would come when I'd get baby fever so badly that I just couldn't wait another minute. I assumed that this strong urge to have children would probably come in my mid-to-late twenties. But now that two decades have passed since those first conversations about having children, I see things much differently and much more clearly.
This is cheesy, but when it comes down to it, the reason my husband and I wanted to have kids was because of love. Yes, our love together and for each other, but also out of a desire to give that love to other human beings - human beings that we made together. I know, that sounds super cliche, but it's true. Before we even tried getting pregnant, I pictured my life as a mother. I wondered how magical it would feel to cradle my firstborn in my arms. The joy that would fill me for their first words, first steps, first day of school. I felt like it would be similar to falling in love all over again - only better.
But if I'm truly being honest, there was a bit of a selfish reason I wanted kids. I wanted to not only give love, but receive it in return. I wanted to feel the unconditional love that only children can give you. I thought about my own childhood. I was blessed with two loving parents who loved me and who I loved deeply, despite their flaws and mistakes. I not only wanted to experience that, but I wanted to pass that down to another generation.
So, after my husband and I got married at the age of 27, we went about our lives while I waited for baby fever to strike. But it never did. One day, I woke up and I was 31 - and told my husband, "If we want kids, we better get on this." It's like we forgot to try to have kids. So, I began taking the prenatal vitamins, tracking my ovulation, and peeing on the ovulation sticks. It was all very calculated (and included zero romance). And once our first baby was born, I waited some more for my maternal instincts to kick in. It turns out, those instincts were not innate for me. Maybe I'm missing something genetically (though I've heard from other moms that my experience is far from unique), but becoming a mother was not what I thought it would be like. Loving another human, becoming a completely selfless paradigm of motherhood, did not happen with the snap of my fingers. It took a lot of hard work. With time, my love for my babies ignited like wildfire, but getting it to spark was no easy task.
And now that I am a parent of two children, a girl and a boy, I understand the gravity of the responsibility that rests on our shoulders. To my husband and I, it is imperative that we send grown children into the world who will hopefully make it better. We now know that raising a child isn't only about the love you give them, but also about the lessons you teach them, and the contributions they make to the world. If I want my love for them to translate into the real world, then I have to guide them on how to do that and work my hardest to mold them into respectful, giving, caring, lovely humans. Raising kids will be my toughest endeavor. And I understand that it's the kind of task where my love alone will not be enough.
I think the decision to have kids is deeply personal. Whether you choose to have or not to have children, they're both perfect choices, because it means you understand yourself and what's right for your life. It's funny now to look back to the original conversation my husband and I had about having children. It was so effortless . . . and yes, clueless. Just because my husband and I always knew we wanted to be parents, doesn't mean that it was how we dreamed it would be. While I wasn't the natural mother I envisioned, being a mother has brought me the more joy than I could ever fathom. I'm grateful for the naivety that my husband and I both had during our college years because that's where our love began to bloom for the children we would one day have.
All the Fast and Furious Photos You Need to Hold You Over Until Hobbs and Shaw
Can you believe it's already been 18 years since The Fast and the Furious was first released?! Since then, the franchise has made its mark with a total of eight films - and two more on the way (Hobbs and Shaw and Fast & Furious 9) - and over $5 billion at the box office. From Los Angeles and Miami to Tokyo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the star-studded cast - including Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, and the late Paul Walker - have practically raced all over the world, so there's no telling where Fast & Furious 9 will take place. The moon, maybe? In honor of the franchise's 18th anniversary and the upcoming Aug. 2 release of Hobbs and Shaw, we're taking a walk down memory lane and looking back at the best pictures from the films.

This 15-Year-Old Sang an Incredible Cover of "Never Enough," and OMG, That High Note
Olina Loau put on "the greatest show" during Monday night's episode of Australia's Got Talent. The 15-year-old student from Western Sydney brought her parents along for her powerhouse cover of "Never Enough" that wowed judges Nicole Scherzinger, Shane Jacobson, Manu Feildel, and Lucy Durack, and left host, Ricki-Lee, in tears.
Loua's Greatest Showman song choice is certainly a challenging one, as Scherzinger noted before Loua kicked off her performance. However, once she opened her mouth, it became clear she was up to the task. She belted out the tune originally sung by Loren Allred for the film, eventually earning a coveted golden buzzer from Ricki-Lee. Watch the full performance above to see exactly why the audience and judges were so blown away. Warning: you'll likely have the song stuck in your head all day.
Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci Wage War in Martin Scorsese's The Irishman
This is not a drill, folks: Netflix's latest drama features a combination of talents that may in fact blow your mind. Academy Award winners Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci star in the streamer's upcoming film The Irishman, directed by the one and only Martin Scorsese. The film, which uses digital effects and makeup to de-age the actors to a dark witchcraft-like degree, follows De Niro as Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran, a World War II veteran and labor union leader who allegedly became a hitman for the Bufalino crime family and played a role in the disappearance of union activist Jimmy Hoffa. Pacino stars as the notoriously mob-connected union boss Hoffa, with a supporting cast that includes Anna Paquin, Bobby Cannavale, Ray Romano, Sebastian Maniscalco, and Harvey Keitel.
Described as "an epic saga of organized crime in post-war America," The Irishman will catch your attention with its moody cinematography (thanks to the Oscar-nominated Rodrigo Prieto, who also shot Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street and Ang Lee's Brokeback Mountain) and intriguing gangster drama, but it's the VFX magic at work that will really catch your eye. Considering that De Niro's de-aged skin has the best postfacial glow we've ever seen, we can confirm that not all CGI trickery is necessarily evil. Check out the teaser above, and look out for when The Irishman debuts on Netflix and in select theaters this Fall.

Jane the Virgin Is at an End, but a Spinoff Is on the Way! Here's What You Need to Know
The final season of The CW's Jane the Virgin is at an end, which means it's time to direct our attention to the show's spinoff, Jane the Novela. Fans are obviously very excited about any new information about the project, so we went ahead and got some for you. Jane the Virgin creator Jennie Snyder Urman shared some juicy details about the upcoming series, which is being written by Valentina Garza, while speaking to journalists during the Television Critics Association press tour in January, and since then a bunch more tidbits have come out. Let's break it all down!
Gina Rodriguez Will Narrate the New Show
No offense to Anthony Mendez, who voices the Latin Lover Narrator on Jane the Virgin, but our girl's got this. It also makes a lot of sense for her to do it, since Snyder Urman said "the spinoff is a different conceit, because they're Jane's novels that she'll write in the future."
If Snyder Urman has her way, Rodriguez will also direct. She's already directed two episodes of Jane the Virgin so far, including the season five premiere, which features her character giving one mammoth monologue and is therefore even more of a directing challenge. On top of that, she's tackled an episode of the other series Snyder Urman executive produces, Charmed. After the panel, Snyder Urman said of Rodriguez's directing that "I knew she was going to be amazing with the actors - that was no surprise to me - but I did not know what a genius she was with composition and cameras and framing. I mean, next level."
It's Closer to the American Horror Story Definition of an 'Anthology'
As opposed to a different story each episode like in Black Mirror, Snyder Urman said that this show will tell one complete story a season, similar to the way it's done on FX's American Horror Story or HBO's True Detective.
This makes sense, she reminded us, because traditional telenovelas tell a story over one season and then move on. "It feels really exciting to be able to tell this kind of emotional, dramatic, scary, funny story all in one season," she said.
Perhaps this might also change the show's chances with the Emmy Awards? Jane the Virgin has always been unfortunately neglected by the TV Academy (although Rodriguez won a Golden Globe in 2015 for best actress in a TV comedy). Emmy voters have one more year to get it right.
Will Any Other Jane the Virgin Characters Appear in This Show?
According to Snyder Urman, "Probably not the first year." She noted that if the show makes it to a second season - provided it gets picked up to series in the first place - and they get time to establish new characters and settings, "we can see what comes. But, I mean, I love this cast. I'd be lucky to work with every single one of them again, and I really hope to." We now have renewed faith that she will, given a recent Instagram post from star Jacqueline Grace Lopez that shows her standing with Ivonne Coll, who plays Alba on JTV. "Goddess," Lopez captioned a cute shot of them hugging. "A privilege to work with this angel and call her Mom." So, it seems Coll will once again be playing a matriarch of some sort!
Overall, having JTV stars or characters pop up in the spinoff honestly isn't that far-fetched of an idea given what we know about Jane's writing. Her first book, Snow Falling (which you can actually buy IRL), is inspired by her own life. Set in early 1900s Miami, it's a love triangle among a hotel employee, the railroad tycoon who owns the hotel, and the police officer to whom she's betrothed. Sure, it only has three and a half stars on Goodreads, but maybe her second book will fare better! Why else would it have scored a $500,000 price tag, right?
The Cast For Season One Is Already Coming Together
Though we probably won't be seeing Jane, Xiomara, or Alba in the first season, we will be seeing some other familiar faces! East Los High's Jacqueline Grace Lopez and Weeds alum Hunter Parrish have been cast as two of the show's leads, Estela and Felix. Similar to how Jane was torn between Michael and Rafael in JTV, Estela will be torn between her boyfriend, Luen (Spider-Man: Far From Home's Remy Hii), and Felix (Parrish), a handsome rich guy.
Former Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross will also star as Felix's "glamorous mother," Renata, who co-owns a winery with her son and will stop at nothing to secure her son's legacy, even if it means standing in the way of his happiness." Just like a telenovela! As far as the rest of the cast is concerned, you can expect to see Holland Roden (Teen Wolf), Benito Martinez (Sons of Anarchy), Federico Dordei (2 Broke Girls), and more.
The Setting Will Be Different
While Jane the Virgin is set in the colorful, vibrant world of a Miami luxury hotel known as The Marbella, Snyder Urman confirmed that Jane the Novela "will be set in Napa Valley at the intersection of wine and art." That's a twist, since we don't know if Jane knows much about Northern California. She doesn't take a research trip this season, but maybe we can assume she later goes there on her honeymoon with Raf? Or helps Petra scout a new location for the expanding Marbella brand? If she needs any advice, we highly recommend she peruse POPSUGAR'S list of the best things to do in Napa and also maybe our tips for riding the area's famous wine train.
The Tone Will Be the Same
Snyder Urman did stress that the two projects have the same bones and the new one would also have "magical realism and a very actively imaginative heroine." (Hmm. That sounds familiar). Jane the Virgin trademarks like the pun-themed hashtags that appear on screen would also carry on to the new show. We also have been told that the spinoff focuses on a family that fails to keep its secrets buried for long. Think of all the dead bodies buried at or near The Marbella (Rafael's dad! Scott!) or found there (Anezka!).
Maybe they will inspire one of Jane's stories? Snyder Urman did say that there are "little hints here and there" to these stories in this season of Jane the Virgin, "but you've gotta really dig in." Good thing the fifth season is coming to Netflix soon so we can re-watch and try to spot some clues!

The Best Onscreen Hair Transformations That Made You Do a Double Take
It's not just some cheesy line in a rom-com or plot twist during a scary movie that can make you feel some things. In fact, with TV shows and films in particular, it's not at all uncommon for a character's drastic haircut or hair color change to elicit a strong reaction from the person on the other side of the screen. That's all part of the cinematic adventure.
Whether the hair transformation makes you want to throw your popcorn at the screen or sneak a screenshot of it on your iPhone to bring to your hairstylist, well, that's a different story. Someone who loves Jon Snow's manbun might despise Jackson Maine's messy lob. It's entirely subjective, and that's the beauty of it.
So, to help us narrow down the best onscreen hair moments, we've asked POPSUGAR editors to share their favorite transformations in cinematic history - from Girls to Grease to How to Get Away With Murder. Then, tell us more: do you agree?

28 Times Jane the Virgin's Rafael Gave You Serious Hot Flashes
Jane the Virgin is about to close out its fifth and final season, and if there's one thing we can always count on, it's Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni) being incredibly sexy no matter what wild hijinks are going on. From the moment we laid eyes on him in season one, Rafael has had our hearts. It's been so great having him back, and need we remind you of how adorable he is when he cradles his newborn son - without a shirt? (Mateo needs skin-to-skin contact, you guys!) Since the series is about to end, there's no better time to embrace Rafael for all he has given us. Once you're done, check out all the times you couldn't help but love Rogelio.
This Is 1 Way Swimming May Have the Edge on Other Cardio Workouts, According to Experts
If you want to build muscle, you need to strength train - but swimming is one form of cardio that can help inch you closer to your goals. "Muscle is built by repetitive motions, using the same muscles over and over again," Cindy Dallow, PhD, a sports dietitian and triathlon coach, told POPSUGAR. Plus, unlike the air you pass through when running or walking, water provides a bit of resistance, mounting an even greater challenge to your muscles. "This activity stimulates muscle protein synthesis, which is what increases strength, assuming adequate protein is consumed," she explained.
So, whether you're breast stroking or back stroking, as the laps add up, so will your muscle gains - at least in your upper body. "Swimming increases strength in some of the shoulder and back muscles," Dr. Dallow said. Perhaps more importantly, "it improves aerobic capacity and cardiorespiratory fitness." In one study, women who swam for 60 minutes three times a week for 12 weeks showed significant improvements in flexibility and cardiovascular endurance, in addition to losing body fat.
Still, to better tone your body, you should keep up with your strength-training routine. If the gains weren't motivation enough, it could help prevent injuries in the pool. "Many swimmers develop shoulder injuries, so having a strong upper body helps prevent that from happening, in addition to making them a strong swimmer," Dr. Dallow said.
