Fact: The Year's Greatest Movie Scene Is Jennifer Lopez Stripping to Fiona Apple in Hustlers
The first time Jennifer Lopez struts onscreen in Hustlers is a freakin' revelation. As Ramona, the veritable queen of her seedy domain, she's introduced to audiences in a glittering, silver, floor-length coat and hat, both of which she soon ditches as she begins a flashy, acrobatic pole dancing routine (which will make your abs sore just from watching it). She spins. She twirls. She flips upside down. She revels in the tidal wave of dollar bills thrown her way. And this is all set to a song that might at first seem unexpected, if not bizarre, before you realize there's nothing else that could have quite done Ramona justice: Fiona Apple's "Criminal."
"Doesn't money make you horny?" she says afterward, clutching an armful of money to her glistening chest as she walks by Constance Wu's Destiny, the club's newest and most naive dancer, before heading back to the dressing room. It's everything you need to know about Ramona distilled into one perfect, sexy opener.
"This is the first time you see my character. It's sexy, it's dangerous," Lopez explained of the scene during a video diary documenting her crash course in pole dancing. "[Ramona] has the whole game on lock. From what she does [in the club], to how she treats these people and how she talks to them . . . I'm going for 'get money.' These guys come in here, and they want sexy, slutty, dirty fantasy."
The mini-documentary shows just how hard Lopez worked on Ramona's opening routine, earning plenty of bruises to her legs and arms in the process. But in the end she admits it was totally worth it, adding a level of authenticity to Ramona's grit. Apple's haunting 1996 track, off her album Tidal, is a genius choice for the scene as well. Rather than having Ramona writhing around to a base-heavy party song, she moves to lyrics like, "I've been a bad, bad girl," and "What I need is a good defense / Cause I'm feelin' like a criminal." (Hopefully you don't need me to tell you why those lyrics resonate.)

Camila Cabello's Hilarious Music Video For "Liar" Is Basically Our Worst Nightmare
On Thursday Morning, Camila Cabello dropped her second new music video in a week - this time for new song "Liar" - and we have a lot of feelings. The video is giving us serious Groundhog Day vibes for starters, with Cabello hilariously reliving the same nightmare over and over (and over) again. It starts with Cabello sitting down for lunch with her fiancé, who is an insufferable billionaire that clearly sees her as a trophy and is exceptionally rude to their waiter - one of the most universally hated personality traits of all time.
After the initial scene plays out, the song kicks off just as Cabello starts literally choking on a lie; and so begins a series of out-there scenarios that sees Cabello repeatedly die, then wake up in bed with her awful fiancé. The video is a mixture of sugary imagery and out there death scenes, but don't you worry, there's a happy ending before the video finishes. Last week, Cabello dropped "Liar" within a day of releasing "Shameless," both songs from her new album, Romance, and you can catch the full video above.

A Dermatologist Explains Why You Can't Stop Sweating After a Shower (and How to Prevent It)
Ever get out of the shower, only to end up dripping sweat? It's super annoying and kind of defeats the purpose of showering in the first place - but there are several reasons this phenomenon occurs, according to Shilpi Khetarpal, MD, a dermatologist at the Cleveland Clinic.
"Hot water that remains on the skin and hair continues to warm the body after a shower," Dr. Khetarpal told POPSUGAR. "The vapor from hot water, combined with the warmer temperature, raises the humidity and temperature of the bathroom, which thereby raises body temperature and makes one sweat." If the sweating seems to get worse once you start toweling off, the very act of drying your skin may be contributing to the problem. "Rubbing the skin with a towel creates friction, which also creates heat," she said. "Also, if the clothing and towel used after a shower are warm, they can immediately warm the body and lead to sweating."
You're also more likely to sweat after a hot shower if you're fevered or have just finished exercising, since both of these cause an increase in basal body temperature.
So, is there a way to prevent it, or at least lessen the sweating? Dr. Khetarpal had a few suggestions. First, try to wait 20 to 30 minutes after a workout before hopping in the shower. "This will help to lower body temperature and decrease perspiring," she said.
Once you're in the shower, you might try slowly turning down the hot water before you attempt to step out. "Gradually lower the amount of hot water in the shower in an attempt to cool the body down," she said. "It takes around 10 seconds for the body to acclimate to the new temperature, so it can continued to be turned down, in 10-second increments, to lower body temperature." Try rinsing your hair with this cooler water, too. This way, "hot water isn't left in the scalp and hair, which can heat the head."
Keep the bathroom as well-ventilated as possible, and when you're finished showering, get out of that humid environment as quickly as possible. If you're still hot, Dr. Khetarpal recommends soaking a wash cloth in cold water and applying it to your face and scalp, which should help you cool off.

The New Trailer For Last Christmas Is Making Us Even More Excited For the Festive Season
Last Christmas is a delightful holiday movie to add to our December lineup that just so happens to also have a crazy good cast. And now we have another trailer to get us excited for the festive season.
The movie stars Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians), and Emma Thompson (who also wrote the screenplay), and it's directed by Paul Feig (the man behind Bridesmaids and A Simple Favor). Set in London, the romantic comedy follows Kate (Clarke), a struggling singer who has experienced a life-threatening illness in the past and currently works at a Christmas shop (she spends most of the film dressed as an adorable elf).
In the trailer, it appears Golding's character, Tom, continually keeps appearing in Kate's life (which he claims isn't an accident . . . hinting at a possible It's a Wonderful Life kind of scenario?), using his charm to help her realize just how great of a person she really is. But this wouldn't be a romantic comedy without the comedy, which both Clarke and Thompson, who plays her mother (who appears to be Eastern European in the film), bring in spades with their sarcasm and awkwardness (in Clarke's case).
In the comments section of the trailer on YouTube, fans aren't just sharing their excitement for the holiday film - they're also reflecting on the life-altering condition that Clarke's character Kate reveals to have in the trailer. The plot line draws a strong parallel to the real-life experiences of the actor, who recently opened up about suffering two nearly-fatal brain aneurysms in her 20s.
Watch the new international trailer above and the original trailer from August ahead. We give you permission to officially start the holiday countdown (but not festive music, just yet). Last Christmas hits theaters on Nov. 8.
The First Trailer:
I Want to Be Wearing That: Miley Cyrus's Date-Night Outfit
After making an appearance at the Bowery Street subway station for the Tom Ford show during New York Fashion Week, Miley Cyrus stepped out with her girlfriend, Kaitlynn Carter, for dinner at La Esquina in the city. Both women opted for full black outfits, with Kaitlynn in a leather miniskirt and Miley in a cropped tee, trousers, and long, oversize blazer.
Miley accessorized with silver cap-toe pointed boots, a Christian Dior saddle bag, a Chanel chain-link necklace, and yellow tinted Gucci aviators, the obvious statement piece here. While I tend to think of my Fall date-night staples as a pair of statement earrings and a slip dress (isn't that easy enough?!), Miley was certainly making the case for something more rocker and retro. I'm so into this idea, I'm shopping her look piece by piece before the weekend comes.
Miley's always been creative with her style, but she's giving me a better reason than ever to put a little more effort into my Friday night ensemble, rather than just grabbing the closest, slinkiest thing I can find in my closet, ripping it off the hanger, and heading out the door. Scroll to see how I'm about to re-create Miley's moment and join me in some shopping.
Shop clockwise from top left: H&M Ribbed Tank Top ($13), Chanel CC Necklace ($599), Mango Lapels Wool Coat ($130), Gucci Tinted Aviator Sunglasses ($314), Jeffrey Campbell Defence Western Boots ($175), Dior Saddle Bag in Black Calfskin ($3,350), Zara Chino Fit Pants ($50)

Disney Princesses Would Be Big Fans of the Romantic Puff-Sleeve Dress Trend
The puff-sleeve dress trend is hands down one of the biggest trends to come out of 2019. I've completely fallen head over heels in love with this trend because it's easy, statement-making, and takes minimal effort to style. While the trend has been making headway for some time now, we've seen these sleeves become bigger and bolder during this Fashion Week season. Case in point? Cecilie Bahnsen's show during Copenhagen Fashion Week was full of ethereal designs with puff sleeves that can only be described as swoon-worthy. Other designers like Johanna Ortiz, Silvia Tcherassi, and Staud have followed suit with this dreamy detail.
When I look at the trend, I can't help but think of certain Disney princesses. The silhouette reminds me of the iconic blue gown Cinderella wore to the ball. Even The Little Mermaid's Ariel wore a stunning, white puff-sleeve gown for her wedding to Prince Eric in the movie. It's no wonder I feel so regal whenever I wear one! If you're wondering how to style the look, read on to see how some very stylish women have done it. Then, shop some of our favorite picks if you're inspired to give the trend a try, too.

It Doesn't Get Much Sexier Than This Dance Choreography Set to Normani's "Motivation"
My upcoming weekend plans, you ask? Attempting to memorize this high-energy dance routine set to Normani's "Motivation" (keyword: attempting). Millennium Dance Complex instructor Hamilton Evans is responsible for the slick choreography, which combines sexy and slow movements with high-energy booty pops and sassy hair flips galore. Do I have the coordination to look as good as these dancers while breakin' it down? Absolutely not. But am I going to try my darnedest to channel my inner Normani and slay every single step? Abso-freakin'-lutely. Watch the dance video above, and if you're still craving more booty shakin', check out Hamilton's choreography for Lizzo's "Tempo" next.
Ellen DeGeneres Could Not Keep It Together During This Hidden-Camera Prank With Melissa McCarthy
Ellen DeGeneres teamed up with Melissa McCarthy to execute a hidden-camera prank on Tuesday, and you better believe the results were LOL-worthy. It all went down at a local dry cleaners in Burbank, CA, where Melissa walked in with a heaping pile of clothes in hand and an earpiece installed so Ellen could tell her exactly what to do and say the entire time. Melissa kicked things off by telling an innocent employee at the front counter how she took Tylenol PM and drank "sleepy-time tea," which made her feel "pretty f*cked up." The 49-year-old actress then rattled off a handful of "inspiring quotes" before pretending to faint - pretty convincingly, might I add. Throughout the entire prank, Ellen could hardly keep it together as she barked orders between fits of laughter from her studio. These two make quite the hilarious duo! Watch the prank unfold above.

Yes, You Can Drink Wine on a Low-Carb Diet, but Take This Dietitian's Advice
If you've decided to follow a low-carb diet, you know there are some foods you'll need to limit or even restrict. So, what about wine? Your drink of choice isn't off the menu completely, but you'll need to be mindful about the type of wine you're drinking, as well as how much.
If you choose a particularly sweet wine, it's likely higher in carbs, and the empty calories could slow down your progress. "All wines have alcohol calories plus carbohydrates, and wine has varying amounts of sugar added to it, so while a dry wine may not have a lot of carbs, a sweet wine can almost count as a dessert," Julie Stefanski, RDN, owner of Stefanski Nutrition Services in York, PA, and a spokesperson for the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, told POPSUGAR. "Most of the time the amount of added sugar isn't offered up on a nutrition label like a snack, so you have to guess with your taste buds and help from your server how many carbs a glass might set you back."
Julie explained that wine can also have unpredictable effects on a person's blood sugar levels. "Individuals with diabetes are always told to drink any alcohol with food to help prevent a low blood sugar level after drinking," she said. It's wise to do the same while following a low-carb diet, since keeping your blood sugar stable can help prevent cravings.
Bottom line: "If you're following a low-carb diet, it's best to opt for just one glass of a dry wine and count the carbs as part of your meal," Julie said. Cheers!
Rihanna and Lizzo Are Down to Collaborate, and Please Music Gods, Let This Happen
Rihzo (noun): the inevitable gloriousness that ensues when you combine two musical queens named Rihanna and Lizzo. Synonyms: a surefire Grammy winner.
Rihzo could very well be a reality in the future, now that both artists have confirmed they want to work together - and yes, in case you were wondering, I'm losing my juice-loving mind at the mere thought of them collaborating. While attending her Fenty x Savage show in New York on Tuesday, Rihanna briefly chatted with Entertainment Tonight about the possibility of teaming up with Lizzo, admitting that she "loves" the singer. "I would collaborate with her on the lights for this interview right now," the fashion and makeup mogul joked, adding, "Lizzo is so badass."
After catching wind of Rihanna's high praise, Lizzo shared the interview clip on both Twitter and Instagram, causing fans to immediately start manifesting a Rihzo song into existence. This is not only the collaboration we want - it's what we need and deserve, and it doesn't sound like the internet will rest until we get it. Ahead, watch Rihanna's interview clip and see Lizzo's reaction before reading what fans are saying about the potential collab.

If Ariana Grande's God Is a Woman, She Must Be Wearing Crocs
Ariana Grande, the new face of Givenchy and queen of chill street style, is wearing Crocs with socks and an oversize sweatshirt. We're at the tail-end of New York Fashion Week, and her outfit could not be any more appealing. Sure, I'm inspired by all the awesome street style I just saw, and I swear I'm going to re-create some of those more intricate outfits in a moment, but can I have a second to just breathe in my Crocs?
Ariana headed out the door with a mini crossbody swung over her shoulder, and though she might not have been wearing anything quite like her sexy birthday dress (remember that ultra-gram Danielle Guizio look?) she still paused to take a selfie. Ariana, you're making us fashion editors (who have been running around for days in kitten heels and square-toe boots) quite jealous, I can promise you that.
Scroll down for another glimpse at Ariana's carefree moment, then slip on your athleisure and sport a pair of Crocs at your own will. I know people hate on them sometimes - Ariana's Instagram followers are leaving comments like "watch every girl start buying crocs now" and "Oh nowwwwwww people like them" - but I'm starting to be convinced that Crocs are where it's at.
So Rihanna Really Stunted on Everyone at Her Savage x Fenty Show, Huh?
In unsurprising but much-appreciated news, Rihanna served looks and badassery at her Savage x Fenty show. On Tuesday, the 31-year-old mogul attended New York Fashion Week sporting a glitzy blue turtleneck dress, slim retro sunglasses, and hoop earrings. Industry notables, including Normani, Kacey Musgraves, and Ashley Graham - who strutted down the runway at Zendaya's Tommy Hilfiger show on Sunday - turned up as well to support the singer and fashion designer.
At the event, Rihanna stunned the crowd with a performance in lingerie and a sheer jumpsuit. Other artists, such as Migos, Big Sean, and Halsey, also took the stage to get the crowd going. The collection then hit the runway, with models Gigi and Bella Hadid and Cara Delevingne among those who rocked the fierce new threads. The star-studded production - which will be available to stream on Amazon Prime on Sept. 20 - was such an electrifying gathering, it left one of our fashion editors wanting more. Although we're (im)patiently awaiting Rihanna's upcoming album, R9, we at least have Savage x Fenty to hold us over. Look ahead to see Rihanna stunt on everyone at her show!
