YouTube Star NikkieTutorials Has Come Out as Transgender
NikkieTutorials, a beauty guru best known for her stunning makeup transformations on YouTube, has come out as transgender. The 25-year-old, whose real name is Nikkie de Jager, took a moment to open up about her identity in a 17-minute-long video that was uploaded to YouTube on Jan. 13 titled "I'm Coming Out."
"I can't believe I'm saying this today to all of you for the entire world to see, but damn, it feels good to finally do it," she started off. "It is time to let go and be truly free. When I was younger, I was born in the wrong body, which means that I am transgender."
Jager went on to open up about her story, revealing to her nearly 13 million subscribers that her journey practically started before she was born, when her mother was convinced she would be giving birth to a girl. "She was convinced that it was gonna be a girl, and out came me," she said. "There was a little surprise - the surprise to my mom and a definitely surprise to me as soon as I had brains to think with." According to the star, who's collaborated with celebrities like Ashley Graham, Lady Gaga, and Becky G, she had always been interested in things that society labeled as feminine as a child. "All of me was girlie," she said. "My mom knew immediately that I either was going to be gay or a different type of story. And it turned out to be a different type of story."
With the support of her mom and teachers, Jager began to transition when she was 6 years old by growing out her hair and wearing girls' clothing. She began taking hormones at 14, and by 19, she had fully transitioned. Though she seems to have received a load of support from important people in her life like her mother and her fiancé, Dylan Drossaers, Jager reveals toward the end of the video that she was threatened by a group of people attempting to blackmail her, which is what led to her sharing her story today. "I hope you sit nice on it," she said to them while raising her middle finger to the camera.
Jager ended things by thanking her family and supporters before choosing "vrouw," which is Dutch for "woman," as the Dutch word of the day. Watch her full video above.

This Is When the Final Season of Shameless Premieres
After 11 years, Shameless is finally coming to an end. The Showtime dramedy got both a renewal and cancellation notice on Monday - so when will season 11 premiere? The final season of the long-running series is still in the early stages, but according to the network brass, it should be ready to go much sooner than you expect.
Deadline reported the announcement, which came during the Winter TCA Press Tour and did not include an exact premiere date for the final season. "Airing this Summer, it will be one last hurrah for the Gallaghers and their unique blend of love and lechery," President of Entertainment at Showtime Networks Gary Levine said at the announcement. "John Wells and his gifted cast promise to take Shameless out for a bang, and knowing Gallaghers we all as we all do, that is no idle threat."
The "Summer" announcement is likely as close to an official date as we'll get for a little while. After all, season 10 hasn't even finished airing yet! There are still a few episodes remaining in the penultimate season, which is set to air its season finale on Jan. 26. Further information about the final season has yet to be announced as well, but we can make a few educated guesses about some of the details. Every season other than season nine has had 12 episodes (season nine had 14), so it seems likely that the final season will have the same episode count. Former leading lady Emmy Rossum, who left the show after season nine, is not currently slated to return (although it's still a possibility), so the returning cast is likely to include William H. Macy (Frank), Jeremy Allen White (Lip), Kate Miner (Tami), Cameron Monaghan (Ian), Noel Fisher (Mickey), Emma Kenney (Debbie), Ethan Cutkosky (Carl), Christian Isaiah (Liam), Shanola Hampton (Vee) and Steve Howey (Kev). As the Summer 2020 premiere draws closer, there will definitely be more details revealed about how the Gallaghers and co. will be saying goodbye.

Zendaya, we are not worthy! The Euphoria-nominated actress walked the Critics' Choice Awards red carpet on Sunday night looking more like a Pink Power Ranger than Kimberly ever did. Beanie Feldstein's Lela Rose Critics' Choice Awards dress is straight-up adorable. I want to wear it to the next wedding I attend and for dinner on Valentine's Day with my SO.
