1 Woman Posted This Bikini Photo to Share an Important Message About Our Self-Love Journey
"What was the first thing you noticed in this photo?," Ely Fisher asked when posting this to her Instagram page. "Today I saw stretch marks when I looked at this photo! Last time I looked at this photo I saw epic hair hahaha! And that's the honest truth."
She added, "It changes for me all the time. Loving your body in all its forms is a work in progress always." Ely posted this to bring awareness that we are all on different stages of our self-love journey, and every day is different.
She said that when she looks at this photo, sometimes she sees a happy, content woman, and other times "the stretch marks are screaming at me." A lot of the time, what she focuses on is dependent on the mindset she's carrying and the way she talks about herself.
"When things are going great in life it's easy to see everything with light attached and with love. When things aren't going so swimmingly it's harder to see things that way," she shared.
When I asked Ely what was the inspiration behind this post, she said, "The journey we are all on, to love ourselves better, to let go of mindsets that hold us back from living the life we want to: it's an ongoing one. Some weeks we are fantastic at it, and other weeks not so much."
Even though her page is devoted to inspiring women to have self-worth, confidence, and health, she shared, "I too, like anyone trying, have my days where what I'm seeing in the mirror doesn't match what I know to be true. We have all fallen victim to this."
She wishes there were more voices out there, sharing their unfiltered gorgeous photos with the world. Because that's actually the everyday woman; the one we sit next to in the doctor's office, the ones we see at the grocery store, the ones we sit next to in our cars at the traffic lights - "not the five percent we see plastered in magazines."
So here's a gentle reminder that when you see a photo of yourself or your image in the mirror, view yourself with kindness, appreciation, and love. Ely suggested that if you're struggling, "find three things you are thankful for."
"I am thankful for my stretch marks; they gave me my baby boy. Many women unable to have their own babies; would take the stretch marks and the loose skin time and time again just for that gift. Perspective is key," she shared. You can always find a way to appreciate your insecurities and see them in a new light.

The Stranger Things Cast Reunited at the SAG Awards, and We're So Ready For Season 4
The Stranger Things cast is officially back together again! On Sunday night, the stars of the Netflix series were in full force as they attended the SAG Awards. While Dacre Montgomery and his girlfriend Liv Pollock cuddled up for the cameras, Cara Buono, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, Priah Ferguson, and Gaten Matarazzo all posed for a big group photo. Like the stars mentioned on the red carpet, this is actually the first time many of them have seen each other since the show's big season three premiere in June 2019.
It's sure to be a fun night for the young stars. Not only are they are up for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series, but they are expected to start filming season four very soon. While chatting with People TV, Noah Schnapp teased that he's already read the script for the first four episodes. "I can't say anything about it, but it's going to be good." Prince Harry spoke publicly about his and Meghan Markle's split from the royal family for the first time on Sunday. While attending an event for supporters of his Sentebale charity in London, the 35-year-old Duke of Sussex Harry addressed the recent discussions between himself and the queen and thanked the crowd for their well-wishes. "Before I begin, I must say that I can only imagine what you may have heard or perhaps read over the last few weeks," Harry said. "So, I want you to hear the truth from me, as much as I can share – not as a Prince, or a Duke, but as Harry, the same person that many of you have watched grow up over the last 35 years – but with a clearer perspective."
Harry went on to praise fans' support of Meghan, who met quietly with a women's charity in Canada last week. "The UK is my home and a place that I love. That will never change. I have grown up feeling support from so many of you, and I watched as you welcomed Meghan with open arms as you saw me find the love and happiness that I had hoped for all my life. Finally, the second son of Diana got hitched, hurray!" Harry quipped, before gushing about his wife of nearly two years. "I also know you've come to know me well enough over all these years to trust that the woman I chose as my wife upholds the same values as I do. And she does, and she's the same woman I fell in love with. We both do everything we can to fly the flag and carry out our roles for this country with pride. Once Meghan and I were married, we were excited, we were hopeful, and we were here to serve."
Just a day before Harry's speech, his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II released a statement confirming that internal discussions around Harry and Meghan's royal exit had concluded and that the couple - along with baby Archie - will "always be much loved members" of the British royal family. "I recognise the challenges they have experienced as a result of intense scrutiny over the last two years and support their wish for a more independent life," the queen added. Harry touched on those challenges in his own public statement on Sunday, insisting that his stepping back was a necessary act. "The decision that I have made for my wife and I to step back, is not one I made lightly. It was so many months of talks after so many years of challenges," Harry said. "And I know I haven't always gotten it right, but as far as this goes, there really was no other option. What I want to make clear is we're not walking away, and we certainly aren't walking away from you."

"Our hope was to continue serving the Queen, the commonwealth, and my military associations, but without public funding," he said. "Unfortunately, that wasn't possible. I've accepted this, knowing that it doesn't change who I am or how committed I am. But I hope that helps you understand what it had to come to, that I would step my family back from all I have ever known, to take a step forward into what I hope can be a more peaceful life."
Harry also took a moment to reference his late mother, Princess Diana. "I was born into this life, and it is a great honor to serve my country and the queen. When I lost my mum 23 years ago, you took me under your wing," he said. It's No Wonder Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Get Along So Well When You Look at Their Signs
Astrology isn't an exact science, but some believe the placement of the stars can say a lot about one's ability to mesh with a partner. Is this also true for royal couples? Meghan Markle and Prince Harry seem to complement each other, despite the fact that their star signs point to opposing character traits. In fact, it may be this opposition that makes them work so well together.
Meghan, who's birthday falls on Aug. 4, is a Leo. Leos like Meghan are often described as passionate and creative people, who are also generous, warm-hearted, and cheerful. But they do have their quirks.

"As a Virgo, Harry is more modest and steeped in rules and regulations. (Granted, it took him a while to get there!) On the other hand, Meghan, as a Leo, wants a public platform for herself. Leos crave attention and recognition and love pageantry and putting on a show. Not coincidentally, they love acting and performing," Austin said. This is spot on given Meghan's acting career. And pageantry is definitely one way to describe the couple's elaborate royal wedding.
"Emotionally, Virgos are more reserved and less demonstrative. Leos, on the other hand, love to project themselves emotionally, and expect grand gestures from their partners," he said.
Meghan definitely fits the bill of being more emotional and expressive with her partner. She is often seen holding hands with Harry and isn't afraid to give him a peck on the cheek in public now and again. In contrast, the other members of the royal family aren't really in favor of PDA of any sort. Meghan, obviously, is changing things up.
The media has been known to jump on any action that goes against the norms of royal protocol, driving Meghan to speak out about the effects of the tabloids on her self-esteem and daily life. Her attitude toward it all might associated with her Leo traits.
"Leos, unfortunately, are particularly sensitive to criticism," Austin said. "They don't like anything to puncture the image they've created for themselves."
The way Harry reacted to Meghan's unhappiness, by way of writing a strongly worded letter to the press followed by a formal lawsuit, is also in line with his sign's characteristics of not being afraid to speak out against others, especially if they feel someone has been wronged.
Meghan and Harry are no strangers to the limelight, but it seems that it's not affecting the strong mutual attraction that remains between the two of them. And whether it be greeting royal fans or traveling to far off places for charity work, the two seem to enjoy their time together. Can they learn from each other along the way? Absolutely. A future where Leo Meghan and Virgo Harry continue to create the perfect balance in their give-and-take relationship definitely seem in the stars.

Brighten dingy laundry with this homemade eco-friendly dry laundry booster. Instead of paying for commercial brands, you can easily make your own with basic ingredients found at any grocery store. And once you pick up the basic ingredients, each batch costs pennies to make. Keep your all-natural booster contained in a small jar so it is handy - and seriously potent - when you're doing laundry.
What You'll Need:
- 2 cups washing soda
- 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide
- Mixing bowl
- Fork
- Small container
Directions:
- Think of laundry booster as your detergent's best friend. Using washing soda really amps up this laundry helper, while hydrogen peroxide works together with your detergent to help clean your garments.
- Measure and add the washing soda to a mixing bowl, and then add the hydrogen peroxide. Gently stir with a fork.
- Use the fork to break up any lumps, creating a sand-like texture. When the mixture interacts with water, it creates bubbles of oxygen, which help lift tough stains and gently whiten whites.
- Pour the booster into a small container with a lid, and you're all set for tackling the laundry.
- For tough stains and dingy whites, soak clothes in warm water mixed with 1/4 cup of the laundry booster for 20 minutes or overnight before washing. And you can keep things all natural and make your own homemade eco-friendly liquid laundry detergent. In a rush? Simply add 1/4 cup of booster directly to your next load of laundry to give your detergent a bit of a kick.

It's No Wonder Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Get Along So Well When You Look at Their Signs
Astrology isn't an exact science, but some believe the placement of the stars can say a lot about one's ability to mesh with a partner. Is this also true for royal couples? Meghan Markle and Prince Harry seem to complement each other, despite the fact that their star signs point to opposing character traits. In fact, it may be this opposition that makes them work so well together.
Meghan, who's birthday falls on Aug. 4, is a Leo. Leos like Meghan are often described as passionate and creative people, who are also generous, warm-hearted, and cheerful. But they do have their quirks.
"While Leos are notably loyal and generous to a fault, their expectations for receiving from others and for praise from the partners and their public are substantial. We can assume that Meghan has set a high bar for Harry in this respect," Jay Austin, astrologist and partner at AustinFischer Astrogenomics, told POPSUGAR.
Harry, on the other hand, is a Virgo with a birthday of Sept. 15. In a nutshell, Virgos are analytical and practical. They like organization and perfection - the best example being how Harry carries out his royal and military duties. And, if you're thinking this sounds like the opposite of a Leo, you would be correct.
"As a Virgo, Harry is more modest and steeped in rules and regulations. (Granted, it took him a while to get there!) On the other hand, Meghan, as a Leo, wants a public platform for herself. Leos crave attention and recognition and love pageantry and putting on a show. Not coincidentally, they love acting and performing," Austin said. This is spot on given Meghan's acting career. And pageantry is definitely one way to describe the couple's elaborate royal wedding.
"Emotionally, Virgos are more reserved and less demonstrative. Leos, on the other hand, love to project themselves emotionally, and expect grand gestures from their partners," he said.
Meghan definitely fits the bill of being more emotional and expressive with her partner. She is often seen holding hands with Harry and isn't afraid to give him a peck on the cheek in public now and again. In contrast, the other members of the royal family aren't really in favor of PDA of any sort. Meghan, obviously, is changing things up.
The media has been known to jump on any action that goes against the norms of royal protocol, driving Meghan to speak out about the effects of the tabloids on her self-esteem and daily life. Her attitude toward it all might associated with her Leo traits.
"Leos, unfortunately, are particularly sensitive to criticism," Austin said. "They don't like anything to puncture the image they've created for themselves."
The way Harry reacted to Meghan's unhappiness, by way of writing a strongly worded letter to the press followed by a formal lawsuit, is also in line with his sign's characteristics of not being afraid to speak out against others, especially if they feel someone has been wronged.
Meghan and Harry are no strangers to the limelight, but it seems that it's not affecting the strong mutual attraction that remains between the two of them. And whether it be greeting royal fans or traveling to far off places for charity work, the two seem to enjoy their time together. Can they learn from each other along the way? Absolutely. A future where Leo Meghan and Virgo Harry continue to create the perfect balance in their give-and-take relationship definitely seem in the stars.

Brighten Clothes With This Awesome Dry Laundry Booster
Brighten dingy laundry with this homemade eco-friendly dry laundry booster. Instead of paying for commercial brands, you can easily make your own with basic ingredients found at any grocery store. And once you pick up the basic ingredients, each batch costs pennies to make. Keep your all-natural booster contained in a small jar so it is handy - and seriously potent - when you're doing laundry.
What You'll Need:
- 2 cups washing soda
- 1/4 cup hydrogen peroxide
- Mixing bowl
- Fork
- Small container
Directions:
- Think of laundry booster as your detergent's best friend. Using washing soda really amps up this laundry helper, while hydrogen peroxide works together with your detergent to help clean your garments.
- Measure and add the washing soda to a mixing bowl, and then add the hydrogen peroxide. Gently stir with a fork.
- Use the fork to break up any lumps, creating a sand-like texture. When the mixture interacts with water, it creates bubbles of oxygen, which help lift tough stains and gently whiten whites.
- Pour the booster into a small container with a lid, and you're all set for tackling the laundry.
- For tough stains and dingy whites, soak clothes in warm water mixed with 1/4 cup of the laundry booster for 20 minutes or overnight before washing. And you can keep things all natural and make your own homemade eco-friendly liquid laundry detergent. In a rush? Simply add 1/4 cup of booster directly to your next load of laundry to give your detergent a bit of a kick.
