I Tried "Weed Lube" and Oh My God, Yes

I'm not into smoking weed, but my vagina is all about some THC. Disclaimer: I live in the state of California, where the purchase and use of Foria Pleasure, a "sensual enhancement" product made of cannabis oil and liquid coconut oil meant for your nether regions, is legal. It's basically weed lube, and it's glorious.

The company says that Foria Pleasure "brings the power of ancient plant medicine to your fingertips," and let me tell you - there's certainly something powerful going on here. While technically not a traditional lubricant for all intents and purposes - it's more of a "pre-lubricant" - the topical oil taught me what "mind-blowing" really means - and I will never use the phrase so lightly again. While the application of the spray resulted in arousal almost immediately, the greatest (seriously, greatest) effect it had was on the intensity and length of my orgasm(s). I literally was laughing incredulously the first time I climaxed, and I'm pretty sure things like "what the actual f*ck?" and "holy sh*t is this still happening?" came out of my mouth.

Here's the lowdown (literally) on how Foria works - read on to see if it's for you.

How It Works

The instructions suggest you apply four to eight sprays directly onto the clitoris, inner and outer labia, and inside the vagina, adding that "internal application provides the highest absorption," which I found to be true in my own experiences. Foria works the way it does because the skin of the vulva and vagina are sensitive and highly absorbent. I've experimented with various amounts and haven't found a huge variation in terms of sensation, except that closer to eight sprays with internal application seemed to really do the trick. Really.

Each time I've applied Foria, I've noticed almost immediate effects, but they begin more externally/on the surface and then progress to a deeper, more internal sensation. Because it can take between 15 minutes and an hour to get the full effect of Foria, I suggest applying it, then taking part in lengthy foreplay while enjoying the feeling as it blooms. It's described as a "pre-lubricant" because its purpose is to enhance pleasure, not lubricate the vagina. "Weed lube" is a loose term, mainly because it's applied to, and inside of, the vagina like regular lubricants.

What It Feels Like

My biggest concern about taking Foria was my fear that I would feel high in the traditional sense. I deal with extreme anxiety and have found that smoking or ingesting marijuana (particularly sativa) can cause actual panic attacks. It's something I avoid entirely, because getting stoned isn't worth the risk of inducing my anxiety, something I work tirelessly to keep at bay. Luckily, Foria doesn't work that way, and I didn't feel anxious at all - quite the opposite, actually.

Some reviewers on the site noted their own struggles with pain during sex and difficulties achieving orgasm for years, and they finally found pleasure with Foria. Again, every experience is different, but after using Foria, I am inclined to believe their anecdotes.

One reviewer put it like this: "Fact - you WILL get a little horny and turned on! Fact - you WILL feel stimulation in HD . . . it's the only way to explain it! Fact - you WILL orgasm deeper than you ever have," which pretty much sums up my experience with it. The sensation and sensitivity of all aspects of sex is heightened and, for me, improved.

Each time I've used it, it almost feels like everything goes warm and tingly down there, and when touched, it's actually so sensitive it almost tickles - in a good way, of course. Foria doesn't necessarily bring you to an orgasm faster (although for some, it can, since it can increase arousal), but it's the grand finale where you really feel major the results. Climaxes are deeper and way more intense than anything I've ever experienced. They feel all-consuming! Orgasms also can go on for longer; it can feel like it's going to last forever, and if anything is going to be eternal, I think we can all agree that an orgasm would be our top pick.

Health and Wellness

While the oil hasn't been evaluated by the FDA, the company says that safety and purity is "of paramount importance." "Our cannabis oil is extracted using leading-edge solvent-free pharmaceutical grade processes that provide extracts in their purest possible form," the site says. To ensure the cleanest and safest final product, the company tests Foria at multiple stages; it tests for potency, pesticides, residual solvents, and microbials. The products undergo something called a "hot-fill" bottling process, allowing Foria to produce a "microbial-free product without the use of artificial preservatives," the site says. The bottom line is that Foria is natural, and the product is made up of two very basic components: cannabis oil and coconut oil.

As with any product, you should always use at your own risk and consult your healthcare provider, because plant medicine, like any other kind of medicine, works differently with different bodies.

To be clear, Foria isn't a product designed to get you high the way that smoking or ingesting cannabis would; it is a topical "pre-lubricant" meant to be sprayed, then absorbed. It is not latex-safe and not recommended for use with latex condoms. While I enjoyed all of my experiences, everyone is different, and it may not be for everyone. It's currently only available in states where marijuana is legalized.

Beyond Pleasure

Foria turned me on, it spiced up sex with my partner, and it gave me some of the best orgasms of my life. But it goes beyond that. A sexual enhancement product for women is empowering; it places the focus of pleasure and completion on women and those with vaginas. It's something we can enjoy alone or with a partner, and it is a novelty in that its central purpose is to optimize the female sexual experience. Bottom line? I'll be using it again. And again.

What's It Really Like to Get Volume Lash Extensions? Here's the Truth

I have always longed for luscious, full eyelashes. My natural lashes are pretty average - I have enough to work with when it comes to swiping on mascara, but it definitely takes plenty of effort. As more celebrities have started wearing eyelash extensions, I was intrigued by the process. There have been plenty of horror stories when it comes to the service, so I was hesitant to test it out for myself.

I finally decided to give it a try before a month with lots of events and parties I was planning to attend. I went to Yuel Lash Beauty in San Francisco - the technician is an independent educator and founder of White Flamingo Lash, a new artistry line of products. Yuel travels around the country for trainings and conferences about her craft - she's truly a pro. I was nervous heading into my appointment; I had no idea what to expect. Luckily, Yuel was incredibly kind and explained every single thing she was doing as she did it.

I went in for a classic set of eyelash extensions, but Yuel suggested I try volume lash extensions. A classic set is when only one extension is glued to each natural lash. It adds length and thickness and is great for people who already have a fair amount of lashes. Volume lashes are a newer and more innovative technique where multiple extensions are attached to one lash to give more dimension and texture. They provide a fuller look and require more skill. Technicians usually create custom fans of multiple lashes to put on each hair - you can have anywhere from two to six extensions attached to each individual natural lash, depending on how dramatic you want to go.

For my particular lashes, Yuel attached two or three extensions to each natural lash. I wanted a noticeably thicker lash line, but I didn't want it to be distracting when people looked at my face. For a full set, it took about two hours to complete the look. I laid on my back on a comfy bed-like cushion while Yuel sat behind my head. I closed my eyes and she placed silicone pads under my eyes to keep the bottom lashes out of the way. I hardly felt anything while she applied the extensions; I only felt her brushing through the lashes every so often. It's a painless procedure - you just have to lie still.

When she was finished, I audibly gasped when I looked in the mirror. I felt like the volume lash extensions complemented my eyes and looked incredibly natural. Consider me instantly obsessed. The lashes last for about three weeks - I'm currently in my second week, and they still look fantastic. In fact, I just booked an appointment for a fill because now I can't imagine living without them.

If you're thinking about getting extensions, it's important to have all the information before you book your first appointment. Let's break down the pros and cons for you.

The Pros

You don't have to spend as much time getting ready.
Extensions are better than any mascara I have ever used. When I wake up in the morning, I apply foundation and blush - and that's it. I love that my eyes look nice 24/7, and I get to sleep five extra minutes every day.

They make your eyes stand out at all times.
By having my eyelashes always "done," I look polished no matter where I am. I could be running errands with no makeup on or heading to the office with a full face, and I feel confident no matter what.

The volume extensions look so natural.
Compared to a classic set, volume lashes truly look real. The lighter, thinner extensions are so intricately placed that they look perfect even up close. My friends can't get over how real they look.

The Cons

Not all technicians know what they're doing.
I was lucky to have a technician who is trained in extensions - she's a total expert and used the best products and tools possible. Just because you find a great price for extensions doesn't mean it's a deal you should take; cheaper services may use materials that are lower quality. Look for technicians who partner with trusted brands.

Volume lash extensions are more expensive than classic sets.
Because of the precision required and the caliber of extensions being used, volume lashes are obviously going to cost more. You're paying for a better result, so in my opinion, it's worth it.

Maintenance is key to keeping lashes looking good.
Yuel provided me with special lash cleaner and silicone spoolies that I use every night. I clean my lashes and brush them so that they look fanned out and even. If you get lazy and skip your grooming routine, you could agitate your eye or your lashes could clump together. Honestly, maintaining them isn't that big of a deal. I just include it as part of my routine when I wash my face.

Overall, I had an incredibly positive experience getting volume lash extensions. and I will be returning again. I love how they make me feel and how much time they save me. If you're on the fence, I recommend giving them a try.

Dan Levy's SAG Awards Outfit Paid Tribute to His Schitt's Creek Family - Awww, David!

Dan Levy made a subtle yet sweet reference to his Schitt's Creek family during the SAG Awards on Sunday night. The 36-year-old actor wore an embroidered jacket on the red carpet that featured a beautiful rose on its left side. According to fashion journalist Booth Moore, Dan and his stylist Erica Cloud chose this Dior outerwear specifically to honor the onscreen Roses from his Pop TV show. Dan's character David Rose has an especially keen eye for unique clothing items, so I have a feeling he'd approve of this sentimental pick. Ahead, see more photos of Dan's carefully chosen homage.

Award shows certainly are prestigious, glamorous, and star-studded, but have you ever had a Crunchwrap Supreme? Lili Reinhart seemingly weighed the pros and cons of both before she arrived at the 2020 SAG Awards on Jan. 19.

Moments before walking the red carpet in a pearl-embellished Miu Miu gown, the Hustlers actress snapped a photo of a Taco Bell she passed by en route. Lili then shared said photo to Instagram Stories with the text, "Could skip the SAG awards and go here instead." Honestly, we wouldn't have blamed her one bit. Brad Pitt Jokes About Tinder, Feet, and Getting High in Hilarious SAG Awards Speech

Not only did Brad Pitt win his second-ever SAG Award on Sunday night, but he also showed off some serious comedic chops. The 56-year-old actor won the trophy for best supporting actor for his role as Cliff Booth in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, but this time he didn't focus on his close friend and costar Leonardo DiCaprio in his acceptance speech. Instead, in between thanking his fellow actors for the win, the actor took the time to joke about how he would be adding the win to his Tinder profile and thanking the feet of Margot Robbie, Dakota Johnson, and Margaret Qualley.

"Seriously, Quentin [Tarantino] has separated more women from their shoes than the TSA," he joked, referring to the fact that everyone runs around barefoot in the film. Pitt went on to note that the role was a particularly difficult one because playing "a guy who gets high, takes his shirt off, and doesn't get along with his wife . . . it was a big stretch. Big." Cue some seriously well-timed camera cuts to the audience, especially the one to Pitt's first ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston. (She seemed pretty charmed, though!) Watch the rest of Pitt's absurdly funny speech ahead.

Jennifer Lopez Was Dripping in Over $9 Million Worth of Diamonds at the SAG Awards

Jennifer Lopez showed up to the SAG Awards on Sunday night looking sleek, sexy, and suave in a Georges Hobeika gown. The 50-year-old actress is nominated for her role in Hustlers, and she looked every inch a winner in her outfit, styled by Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn.

The black off-the-shoulder dress featured a dramatic bow detailing in the back (there's something about bows for J Lo this season!) and an extended train, which she got a little help fixing on the red carpet. Jennifer tied the whole look together with a glittering necklace, earrings, and a bracelet from Harry Winston. That's over $9 million worth of diamonds - not counting her massive engagement ring from fiancé Alex Rodriguez! Keep reading to see more of J Lo's award show ensemble.

Christina Milian Welcomes Her 1st Child With Boyfriend Matt Pokora: "And So We Begin"

Christina Milian welcomed her first child with boyfriend Matt Pokora - a baby boy named Isaiah - on Jan. 20. The singer and actress announced the birth with an adorable photo of newborn Isaiah in a hat, clutching onto what appears to be Christina's finger. The caption reads, "And so we begin. Isaiah 1/20/20 Simply perfect. The world is yours Son. Love, Mom & Dad."

Christina, 38, became a mother nine years ago when she gave birth to her daughter, Violet Madison Nash, whom she shares with ex-husband The-Dream. Back in July, she announced news of her second pregnancy with a photo of her and Matt, a 34-year-old French songwriter and singer she's been dating since 2017, holding a sonogram printout. "New release 2020! What a blessing! Let's do this babe @mattpokora!" the caption read.

Less than 24 hours ago, Christina shared a video walking around Dave & Buster's, so sometime between the arcade games and this Martin Luther King Day, she and Matt's baby boy was born. One thing's for sure: Isaiah is certainly the best prize! Congratulations to Christina and her family!

NYC's Top Tattoo Artist on the Coolest Ink You'll Be Seeing Everywhere in 2020

Navigating the plight that is choosing your next tattoo can feel like a solo journey in mapless territory. There is no GPS to meaningful body art; no Complete Encyclopedia to Dainty Ink You Won't Regret, like the one Hailey Baldwin has seemingly forgotten to release to the public.

What you can do, of course, is look to the pros to tell you which designs will see a spike in popularity in the coming months, plus which ones to ditch, and let that be your tattoo guide. That's where we come in. So what trends can you expect in the new year?

"Watercolor tattoos are slowly disappearing, as well as the hype of the stick-and-poke tattoos," said Trudy Lines, a top tattooist at the celebrity-favorite Bang Bang Tattoo in New York City. "But minimalistic tattoos will continue in 2020. The illustrative black line-work style will stay."

She added that this year, more and more people will be going back to "thoughtful and strategic tattoo planning" than they have in the past. "The design process and the pre-tattoo phase will become more important as opposed to just getting a bunch of smaller tattoos to start with."

Ready for some inspiration? Ahead, Lines breaks down 2020's raddest designs, placements, and color trends to inspire your next tattoo.

1 Woman Posted This Bikini Photo to Share an Important Message About Our Self-Love Journey

"What was the first thing you noticed in this photo?," Ely Fisher asked when posting this to her Instagram page. "Today I saw stretch marks when I looked at this photo! Last time I looked at this photo I saw epic hair hahaha! And that's the honest truth."

She added, "It changes for me all the time. Loving your body in all its forms is a work in progress always." Ely posted this to bring awareness that we are all on different stages of our self-love journey, and every day is different.

She said that when she looks at this photo, sometimes she sees a happy, content woman, and other times "the stretch marks are screaming at me." A lot of the time, what she focuses on is dependent on the mindset she's carrying and the way she talks about herself.

"When things are going great in life it's easy to see everything with light attached and with love. When things aren't going so swimmingly it's harder to see things that way," she shared.

When I asked Ely what was the inspiration behind this post, she said, "The journey we are all on, to love ourselves better, to let go of mindsets that hold us back from living the life we want to: it's an ongoing one. Some weeks we are fantastic at it, and other weeks not so much."

Even though her page is devoted to inspiring women to have self-worth, confidence, and health, she shared, "I too, like anyone trying, have my days where what I'm seeing in the mirror doesn't match what I know to be true. We have all fallen victim to this."

She wishes there were more voices out there, sharing their unfiltered gorgeous photos with the world. Because that's actually the everyday woman; the one we sit next to in the doctor's office, the ones we see at the grocery store, the ones we sit next to in our cars at the traffic lights - "not the five percent we see plastered in magazines."

So here's a gentle reminder that when you see a photo of yourself or your image in the mirror, view yourself with kindness, appreciation, and love. Ely suggested that if you're struggling, "find three things you are thankful for."

"I am thankful for my stretch marks; they gave me my baby boy. Many women unable to have their own babies; would take the stretch marks and the loose skin time and time again just for that gift. The Stranger Things Cast Reunited at the SAG Awards, and We're So Ready For Season 4

The Stranger Things cast is officially back together again! On Sunday night, the stars of the Netflix series were in full force as they attended the SAG Awards. While Dacre Montgomery and his girlfriend Liv Pollock cuddled up for the cameras, Cara Buono, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Millie Bobby Brown, Priah Ferguson, and Gaten Matarazzo all posed for a big group photo. Like the stars mentioned on the red carpet, this is actually the first time many of them have seen each other since the show's big season three premiere in June 2019.

It's sure to be a fun night for the young stars. Not only are they are up for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series, but they are expected to start filming season four very soon. While chatting with People TV, Noah Schnapp teased that he's already read the script for the first four episodes. "I can't say anything about it, but it's going to be good." See more of their night ahead.
