Lizzo Turns Heads at the Grammys, and We Refuse to Look Away
Lizzo made a truly dazzling appearance at Sunday's Grammys in Los Angeles. The 31-year-old singer stepped out and turned heads as she rocked a Diana Ross-inspired white Versace gown with silver details and a sexy slit. She complemented the look with a fur wrap and accessorized with a layered necklace and a simple ring.
It was a memorable evening for the songstress, who received seven nominations. While her chart-topper "Truth Hurts" earned nods as record of the year, song of the year, and best pop solo performance, her LP Cuz I Love You was a contender for album of the year, and the deluxe edition received a mention in the best urban contemporary album category. She's also in the running for best new artist, and her song "Exactly How I Feel" with Gucci Mane is a potential recipient of the best R&B performance award. Keep reading to see all the photos from her glamorous night out!

Billie Eilish's Grammys Outfit Is the Gucci Equivalent of Camouflage
Billie Eilish arrived at the 2020 Grammy Awards on Sunday looking like money both figuratively and literally. The 18-year-old singer and nominee wore a head-to-toe green Gucci outfit consisting of bedazzled, logo-emblazoned separates layered over a sequin long-sleeve turtleneck. Styled by Samantha Burkhart, the edgy outfit was complemented by metallic sneakers, fingerless gloves, tiny sunglasses, and gold hoop earrings.
Not only did the lime green look match Billie's dyed roots, but it also doesn't not remind us of Nickelodeon slime. (Are we right or . . . are we right?) See pictures of Billie hitting the red carpet ahead, and then check out what everyone else wore to the star-studded award show.
Yeehaw! Lil Nas X's Pink Cowboy Outfit at the Grammys Is Everything and More
Yeehaw! Lil Nas X walked the Grammys 2020 red carpet in a hot pink cowboy outfit that is just as amazing as it sounds. The "Old Town Road" singer attended the award show alongside Billy Ray Cyrus, who was also featured on the track. The 20-year-old rapper is nominated for five awards, so of course he had to look the part. He wore a Barbie pink leather outfit by Versace that fit the Western-inspired track. It featured a buckeled leather harness over a mesh top and a cropped leather jacket. He styled it with matching leather pants and pink cowboy boots. His buckled look was complete with a matching cowboy hat and two silk scarfs tied around his wrists. Read on to see all angles of his Grammys look ahead.
Priyanka Chopra's Dress Plunge Immediately Made Me Say "OMFG"
But of course Priyanka Chopra was there to support hubby Nick Jonas at the 2020 Grammy Awards. Ahead of walking the red carpet, Pri posted a sneak peek on Instagram, making it very clear that the evening was all about Nick. "This guy. #Grammys2020," she wrote. Sure, it might be about Nick, the dude in the gold suit, but Priyanka's dress - I mean, damn. There's just no way the cameras won't immediately point to Priyanka when the couple arrives. The actress wore a hand beaded Ralph & Russo gown with an incredible plunge that goes deep into J Lo territory - you know, all the way down to there. The intricate embellishments and plunge on Priyanka's gown were not enough, clearly, so the jaw-dropping fringe off her sleeves and the pendant at the center of the bodice sealed the deal. Priyanka accessorized with chandelier earrings and her makeup was more glowy and dewy than ever before. This right here, this is why we watch out for the unbeatable style at the Grammys.
We Are in Awe of these 2020 Grammys Red Carpet Looks - See the Best Outfits Now!
The 2020 Grammy Awards are here, and the fashion looks from the notable night are already ones to remember. With artists like Ariana Grande, Lizzo, and Camila Cabello set to perform, the show is bound to be one of the best yet. Since it wouldn't be the biggest night of music without over-the-top fashion, we're here to present you with the hottest looks from the red carpet. This year's award show is filled with bright colors, bold accessories, and, yes, even some dreamy ballgowns. See the best looks from the night ahead.

One a Day: Throw These 116 Things Away
Cleaning out clutter can be a tough task, especially if you have been letting it build up for a while. Instead of setting aside a huge block of time to take care of months' or years' worth of clutter, take baby steps by throwing away only one type of item a day. And by throwing away, I mean recycling, selling, donating, or - as the last resort - trashing. Here's a list of 116 types of items that will take you about four months to dispose of.

I Thought I Was Miscarrying My Second Pregnancy But It Was an Ectopic Pregnancy Loss
One day I'll tell my daughter about my ectopic pregnancy loss before she was born. Maybe I'll tell her that she was a surprise, born in December, right before Christmas. She brought a glow to us after losing the pregnancy that would've given us a Fall baby. Sometimes when I'm ovulating, I feel a pinch near the scar, and I'm reminded of my second pregnancy.
During the first six weeks of my second pregnancy, I craved cucumbers, researched double strollers, set up email reminders for monthly baby growth updates, and told my close friends and family excitedly the news. I had no clue while rubbing my hand on my belly lovingly that things were about to change unexpectedly.
I remember preparing my diaper bag to take my fourteen-month-old son to a nearby toddler playspace and feeling cramps in my abdominal area. At first I considered it gas or something I ate, only the pain grew rapidly and in the course of a day I went from spotting blood to period heavy flow and thick blood clots, fearing this is what I had read about when a pregnancy ends.
I called my gynecologist and immediately went in for an ultrasound; then there was the face of a doctor telling me I was having a miscarriage. He was so casual about it, his words sounded bored, monotone, as he gave me the diagnosis that the life growing inside of me was over.
I was perplexed, my heart racing on the walk home, as I had called my husband at work and asked him to meet for lunch. A week went by, and I was still in physical pain from intense cramping, but assumed it was just part of the process. I had distracted my son during my frequent bathroom visits with his favorite toys and treats, started to tell family and friends, stopped touching my stomach so much, and let my body exhale. I began to regroup, rest, decompress, write in my journal, and allow the time my body needed to change back into not-pregnant person.
But another week went by with the same heavy flow. While in a mommy-and-me class with my son, I felt another gumball-sized clot pass. I shifted my position in the kid-sized chair and decided the class was over for us. I called my gynecologist again, wondering why I was still bleeding so heavily. As I arranged when I could come in again to check my hormone levels, I was just uncertain. A few days later, the results showed my hormone levels weren't dropping, so I went in for another ultrasound. I dropped my son off with a babysitter, and headed to the office.
This time, I was told the first diagnosis of a miscarriage was wrong. The embryo had actually implanted outside the uterus - I was experiencing an ectopic pregnancy loss. Not only could the pregnancy not survive outside the uterus, but my life was also at risk. I couldn't believe it. I was furious, thinking to myself, "How could they miss it, how could they not notice the pregnancy on my fallopian tube the first time?"
I was told it was too late for ectopic pregnancy medication to stop cells from growing and dissolve them. It was so confusing, so mind blowing. I was pregnant, then having a miscarriage, now I was Googling what an ectopic pregnancy was. I was told I'd receive a phone call in a couple hours about what I needed to bring and what time to arrive for surgery that night. In disbelief, I left and went about my day in a blur, conducting an outing with my son at the playground, and walking around with a fetus in the wrong place inside my body. According to March of Dimes, about 1 in 50 pregnancies, or 2 percent, in the U.S. is ectopic. A few hours later, I checked myself into the hospital to become part of that percent.
I never realized that trying to get pregnant could lead to emergency surgery, but in the same hospital where my son was born a year and half before, I lost my fallopian tube and the ectopic pregnancy was removed. I woke up to a heart shaped bandage on my belly button. My son was jumping on my hospital bed late that night and I was so thankful I had him and his warm hug and hand in mine, thankful that I knew the incredible feeling of becoming a mother. I grieve for others who don't.
I read about how hard it can be to get pregnant again after an ectopic pregnancy. According to March of Dimes, about one in 3 women who have had one ectopic pregnancy go on to have a healthy pregnancy later. But if you've had an ectopic pregnancy, you have about a 3 in 20 chance of having another.
Still, to me it felt near impossible, but I had an urgency to try again as soon as I had recovered from surgery, to somehow turn the loss into another chance. You can believe I was shocked when I saw those two lines on multiple pregnancy tests not long later. The whole pregnancy I was walking on eggshells, more nervous than ever.
My daughter has just turned five and she often mentions how much she dislikes her December birthday, but I tell her it's a wonderful time of year to have been born. Sometimes the great joy we have in the form of a little girl doing twirls at her brother's soccer practice wouldn't exist without the loss of something else.

Next in Fashion: Meet the Hosts and Guest Judges of Netflix's Hot New Series
It seems that Netflix truly can read our fashion-obsessed minds, with the launch of Next in Fashion coming at the end of this month (on Jan. 29, to be exact). Following the success of Project Runway and Under the Gunn, the streaming behemoth has finally embraced the format of a creative reality competition, which will hopefully introduce us to some fresh, fashionable faces, while also giving us access to watch some of the industry's finest working alongside them.
Billed as Netflix's first fashion show, the content will be trend-focused, and will incorporate global perspectives on the how, what, and why concerning our fashion choices. With a stellar lineup expected, we thought we would introduce you to the two confirmed hosts of the competition, as well as the first two guest judges who have been announced (this is by no means the final list) who will be guiding 18 contestants through their journey to win a $250,000 prize and a debut collection with Net-A-Porter. Without further ado, here are Netflix's cream of the styling crop!

My Absolute Favorite Part of Disney+ Is Sharing It With My Daughter
Like many 80s babies I know, I have a solid collection of classic Disney movies on VHS. I'm pretty sure they don't sell VCRs anymore, so it's a good thing that my mom is kind of a hoarder and saved one of my old TVs that has a built-in VCR. When my mom found out I was pregnant, she excitedly bequeathed that hunk of junk to me, reminding me of all the special times we spent watching Disney movies together. As kids, my brothers and I could get out of going to school by begging my mom to watch Lady and the Tramp in her bed, and it's still a joke we use today to get out of adulting. I was looking forward to sharing those types of memories with my daughter, but wasn't envisioning that Disney cuddle session until she was at least three or four years old. I am so happy to say that I was wrong! My daughter is 18 months old, and we crush Disney movies together.
Don't tell my mom, but I rarely use the VHS tapes. The TV is small and the picture, obviously, is a little blurry and doesn't grab my daughter's attention. Also, now we have Disney+. It's totally surpassed Netflix as my favorite streaming service. Disney+ starts at $6.99 a month and for that price, you get access to every Disney movie every made from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to the live action Lady and the Tramp, plus the whole Marvel universe, Pixar movies, Nation Geographic shows, and all of the Star Wars collection. I'm sure I sound like a big Disney nerd, but when I saw the long list of titles available, my jaw dropped.
When Disney+ launched, I knew exactly where to start. My go-to is The Lion King, so I sat my little girl next to me on the couch one afternoon and put it on. I hoped we would get at least through Simba's intro to the Pride Lands before she lost interest, but she was hooked the whole time (minus a few breaks to try to eat a crayon, get water, etc.). She was waving her little arms to all of the songs and doing her soft lion roar at Mufasa, and I was basically weeping with joy. I have so many vivid memories of experiencing Disney movies with my mom, my brothers, and my friends, and it is amazing to watch my daughter start to make these kinds of memories.
I love introducing her to the timeless stories, and even more to the strong female leads of more recent Disney movies. I want my daughter to know that if Moana can leave Motunui, sail across the sea, and restore the heart of Te Fiti, she can do anything she puts her mind and heart into. Obviously, my 18-month old is little young to process those kinds of ideas, but you better believe I am giving her those lessons the whole time anyways.
Since my daughter is younger, I have yet to put in place any strict parameters around screen time. The AAP suggests about an hour a day for a child my daughter's age, and most Disney movies aren't much longer than that. But from my point of view, she gets so much stimulation during the day that I don't think a movie in the afternoon will harm her. My only rule is that we're watching it together, snuggled up on the couch. It is a really special bonding time for both of us.
I love to think of my daughter looking back on these memories like I do. Snuggling her on the couch and watching her face light up at Snow White, hearing her say uh-oh when Shere Khan comes on screen, or hearing her little roar at Mufasa makes my heart explode. I want her to know that those times will always be sacred to me. That if she needs a mental health day, she can ask to watch Lady and the Tramp in my bed, and I will always say yes. That if she ever needs a safe space to sit quietly and cuddle, we can pop on a Disney movie and fly off to Neverland together.
Storm Reid Knows Young People Play a Key Role in Racial Healing: "Listen to Us"
Storm Reid doesn't like to be called an activist. Instead, she's an "artivist" who strives to bring about social change through her work. The 16-year-old actress - who is best known for her work on Euphoria, A Wrinkle in Time, When They See Us, and 12 Years a Slave - sat down with POPSUGAR on Jan. 21, the National Day of Racial Healing, to discuss the value of racial healing and what she hopes to see from her own generation. This was Storm's second year participating in the event, which was put on by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
"To be able to heal, you have to have these tough conversations and you have to be able to acknowledge what goes on in the world and then try to figure out how you can change that," Storm explained. "I'm all about the equity work and being civically engaged to facilitate the integrity of life within a community, whether you're doing that politically or non-politically. I choose to do it non-politically."
"We are the present, but we are going to be the future one day."
Storm chooses to bring about healing through her career and the projects she participates in. She knows "black and brown people have been disproportionately penalized for a long time" and wants to engage in "tough conversations" through her work. Storm also uses her roles as teaching tools for herself and others. She didn't know about the Exonerated Five before becoming Lisa for Ava DuVernay's When They See Us and she knew little about slavery before starring in 12 Years a Slave because it wasn't taught at her school. She tells these stories with the intent to educate younger generations and encourage them to grow up to be respectful, "well-rounded" people.
"Hopefully, I can inspire my peers and the younger generations to try to make a change as well," she continued. Storm is motivated by her generation "as a whole," but when prompted, she spotlights actress Yara Shahidi, climate change activist Isra Hirsi, and Black Lives Matter leader Thandiwe Abdullah as exemplary changemakers. "They are trying to make the world a better place," she said.
So, what can adults do to support today's young people? Well, Storm said it all comes down to listening. "We are the present, but we are going to be the future one day," she said, addressing older generations. "We're going to be in positions of power and making these tough decisions . . . if you guys are able to listen to us, then maybe it won't be so hard for us to make those decisions when we're older."
W.K. Kellogg Foundation President and CEO La June Montgomery Tabron echoed Storm's sentiments. She too knows where the future of racial healing lies. "I just get so inspired by young people taking on the future themselves and it's kind of an attitude of leadership I think as opposed to waiting for people to do things for you," she told POPSUGAR. "I think they have a passion and an unguarded sense of action that I think has been the tipping point for a lot of the major movements in this nation and the world."
I Finally Figured Out How to Use a Hair Wand Thanks to This Cordless Miracle Worker
I've always found the monotonous activity of curling my hair to be soothing, but when the beauty market became overrun by trendy hair wands, I was left scratching my head. I'm not particularly clumsy, but I couldn't figure out how I was supposed to wrap strands of my hair around a 360-degree cylinder that was rotated upside-down without burning the ever-loving sh*t out of my wrists and fingers. Was everyone around me born with the coordination needed for these clamp-less irons?
Turns out, it's not the lack of clamp that's been throwing me off - it's the cord. You know why lightsabers are such effective weapons? No cords. Just a big ol' stick of energy.
The same is true for the Unplugged Beauty 1" Rose Gold Curling Iron. The barrel is a lovely hue of rose gold, but it comes in both matte white and gloss black handle versions. There are three components in the box: the tool itself, a heat-proof rubber sheath to use when you want to toss your iron in your bag, and a charging cord. The temperature, displayed on a digital face, goes up to 400 degrees, though you probably won't need to max it out. Just like your phone, it takes two to three hours to fully charge. Unlike your phone, the power lasts for around 40 minutes. But do you really need more than 40 minutes to curl your hair?
My wand came partially charged, so I fired it up to 350 and got to curling. I can't emphasize enough how much easier the process was without an obtrusive cord dangling down. Once I got the pattern down - secure a section, twist around the barrel, and hold until my fingers were just barely off the iron - it only took 15 minutes to curl my entire head. Dare I say, I looked fabulous. Seriously, look.
Sephora Has All the Skin Care We're Searching For in 2020
Self-care, for us, means paying attention to our complexion with the best skincare products. Either way, hidden tattoos are a great way to ink your body just for you (though don't be surprised if you suddenly feel the need to post it all over Instagram). Antebellum, Which Already Looks Like the Scariest Movie of 2020, Might Also Have the Best Cast
We already have a lot of great horror movies to look forward to in 2020, and now we have yet another movie to add to the list. Little is known about Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz's forthcoming thriller Antebellum but we do know that Get Out, Us, and BlacKkKlansman producer Sean McKittrick is also involved in the film, so it's got to be good. From what we can glean from the trailer, Antebellum revolves around a successful author who finds herself trapped in the Antebellum South - a period which persisted from the late 18th century until the start of the American Civil War - and it looks pretty damn terrifying. Here's who you can expect to see when the film debuts on April 24.

Here's How to Customize App Icons on an iPhone - All It Takes Is a Few Clicks!
The inside of my phone is about to become an aesthetic wonderland because this superasy iPhone hack lets you customize all of your app icons with just a few clicks. It's so easy, I'm truly wondering how I didn't think of this before. According to the video, all you have to do to change your app icons is head to the "Shortcuts" app pre-installed in your iPhone and select "Create New Shortcut." From there, you select the app you want to change the image for, and in a couple clicks, your apps will have gotten a major glow up.
Considering that the hack only takes seconds to complete, I might just have to give my entire iPhone interior a makeover this weekend. The trick uses photos saved to your camera roll to replace the original app icons, so if you can Google it or snap a picture of it, you've got yourself a new icon. From galaxy icons to pastel icons to photos that create an ombré effect when the apps are all lined up, the possibilities are pretty much endless. Keep scrolling to see a full walkthrough of the simple hack ahead.
Here's What *Everyone* Is Adding to Cart at Sephora
It's one thing to see the beauty products that are trending on Instagram, but wouldn't you like to peek into some shopping bags to see what people are actually buying? After all, it's one thing to lust after a product; it's another to bring it into your beauty regimen. Since we were curious to know which products are the most shopped at Sephora, we did a little sleuthing to unearth the skin care, hair care, makeup, and more that are selling like wild.
What do all of these products have in common, you ask? They're popular because they don't just make people look their best - they're effective, versatile, and useful for just about everyone. As you may have guessed, Sephora shoppers aren't into skin care that doesn't do anything. Instead, they're buying potent serums and treatments with active ingredients such as retinol, vitamin C, and hyaluronic acid. For makeup, right now the eyes have it - especially if it involves buttery-soft shadows and neutrals with a twist. Plus, the most-purchased hair products not only strengthen and repair brittle strands, they also protect against future damage. Interestingly, shoppers are willing to spend their cash on hairstyling tools that reduce clutter, simplify the process, and make it easy to achieve salon-quality results at home. (Not a bad investment at all, when you think about it that way.)
So if you, too, want to know the most shopped beauty products at Sephora, read on because we've got the receipts.

Kylie Jenner Surprised Stormi With an Early 2nd Birthday Present - a Trip to Disney World!
As far as birthday wishes go, I'm willing to bet a lot of candles have been blown out by kids wishing to go to Walt Disney World (myself included), and Kylie Jenner just made that wish come true for baby Stormi as an early second birthday surprise! In a post on her Instagram account, Kylie shared a photo of the toddler decked out with all the Disney gear a kid could dream of, including a Minnie Mouse blanket, a Minnie Mouse doll, and pink sequin Minnie Mouse ears.
Kylie shared a few more snaps and videos from Stormi's first trip to Walt Disney World on her Instagram Stories, tracking their walk around the theme park (with a Fendi stroller, no less), their journey through "It's a Small World," the fireworks show, and even Stormi trying a Disney snack. That sounds like a pretty magical birthday to me. Stormi's dad and Kylie's ex Travis Scott also joined the mother-daughter duo on their trip, according to People. Keep scrolling to see what else Stormi and Kylie got up to during their Walt Disney World adventures ahead.

12 Jumpsuits For Every Occasion, Because We Love 1 and Done Outfits
A jumpsuit is easily one of the more versatile single pieces you can have in your wardrobe. Not only is it literally a complete outfit in one (minus the shoes, of course), but not having to worry about matching and pairing tops and bottoms can go a long way on busy mornings. These Banana Republic jumpers are a mix of style and function and most come in a range of sizes for various heights and body shapes.
Once you get the length right, the styling options with a jumper are vast. Layer a long-sleeved fitted tee under a sleeveless jumpsuit or add a belt if you want a more shape-forming fit. Depending on the silhouette of the pant, shoe options can go from a casual sneaker to a heel. Think of these jumpers as a base for showing off your style.
I Married My High School Sweetheart, and It Ended in Divorce - Here's What I Learned
My ex-husband and I met in high school during the second half of our senior year. I had been in several long and serious relationships and was sick of having my heart broken. He had never had a girlfriend before.
After a few months of just being friends, we started dating. We were spending a lot of time together, and he had been integrated into our group of friends. So, we made it official. The next thing I knew, we were celebrating 12 years of being together.
However, our marriage didn't work out the way either of us wanted it to, and we ended up parting ways. And while some of this can be attributed to what we didn't have as a couple, a lot of it had to do with the changes that happen as you come into your own as a person.
When you fall in love with someone so young, there are pitfalls that you're not aware of until later on. If you're serious about your high school sweetheart, here are a few things you should know.
You're Both Going to Change
The person that your partner fell in love with isn't going to be the one that he/she ends up with. When I first met my ex-husband, he didn't want kids and I wanted a basketball team. A decade later, I didn't want them - I was thrilled with my career, freedom, and expensive car . . . and treating myself to nice things - and he wanted all of the babies.
When you spend a long time with your high school sweetheart, you keep thinking that things are going to go back to the way they used to be. They can't because your life experience - experience you didn't have in high school - has begun to shape you. Your needs and wants are different. As a couple, you need to accept the other for what they are now and not what they used to be and find ways to grow together.
Don't Fall in Love With Potential
This was my biggest pitfall when it came to my marriage. I honestly can't say enough good things about my ex-husband. He's smart (smarter than I am); he can figure things out; he is intuitive with people, technologically savvy, and forward thinking; and he had the potential to be an executive-level employee. I saw all of this potential in him, and I definitely was enthusiastic about it. However, he never reached that potential (or hasn't yet) because it's just not for him. He's OK just being OK.
Part of me stayed with him because I thought that he would grow into that potential. Instead, it just frustrated me to no end because I felt the relationship dynamic was uneven - with me pulling 75 percent of the weight instead of 50. Be cognizant of why you love someone and make sure it's absolutely 100 percent because of who they are and not who they could be.
Don't Fall in Love With Comfort
One of the reasons I believe I stayed so long was because I was comfortable. I didn't want to go out and date and have to be heartbroken over and over again. Most, if not all, of my friends were in long-term relationships, and our group of friends was really tight. Everything was going smoothly in life, so why shake it up?
I can't stress this enough: do not stay because you're comfortable. Or afraid. Don't settle.
Don't Lose Yourself
I gave up a lot of opportunities because I thought I was ready to settle down and have a family. I didn't travel as much as I wanted. I never lived anywhere else or lived on my own. And I turned down a lot of career choices because I felt the pressure to be home and to be a wife - whether he put it on me or not. I had completely lost my ability to make decisions for myself. I'm not saying that the other person shouldn't be involved and decisions shouldn't be discussed, but I am saying that if it's something you really want to do and feel strongly about, you should be able to go do it with your partner's support.
Whether you've been married to your high school sweetheart for 36 years, like my parents, or you're heading to college attached, don't give up experiences. If it's real love, your partner will support you, even if that means studying abroad for a year or living in New York City on your own. You never know how those missed opportunities can change your life.
They Are Always Going to Be in Your Life
Whether you've tied the knot, been together for what feels like an eternity, or have quietly gone your separate ways, when you're in a long-term relationship with someone who has been such a big part of your life, they will always be around. You'll always see something that they would love. You may even still talk on a regular basis. No matter where your relationship ends up, there will be a place in your heart for them and in theirs for you.
