Marc Jacobs' Runway Had Miley Cyrus, '60s Style, and Diversity We've Been Asking For
I loved everything I saw stroll down the Marc Jacobs Fall 2020 runway - from the genderless underwear sets in tomato red and mustard yellow to the colored tights and monochrome outfits, complete with hair bandanas and peacoats. From Miley Cyrus' brief appearance in a bralette and pants, trailing her printed coat on the floor, to Kaia Gerber's recreation of her signature Marc Jacobs yellow look, which she's been rocking a different version of since the Spring 2018 season. From the gorgeous glitter dresses that flattered all shapes and sizes to Marc's thunderous stomp during the grand finale, which shut off the lights at the Lexington Avenue Armory and dismissed the guests. Marc's stomp was as if to say: "This is the way fashion should be! And that's final!"
But the design influence here was rooted heavily in the '60s. Models walked two-by-two and performers danced through the mock cafe Marc set up as his stage. A lot was happening at once; a lot of different people, colors, and outfits commanded your attention. It was like watching a scene with Elvis and Ann-Margret right out of 1964's Viva Las Vegas; like catching a glimpse of Edie Segwick dancing through Studio 54 - especially given those short shifts and thick headbands.
Although the vibe was fun, there were plenty of sophisticated Jackie Kennedy-esque skirt suits. Gigi Hadid debuted one in white, and one even came in leather, as a brief nod to 2020's biggest trend. There were glamorous red carpet gowns too - Bella Hadid and Karlie Kloss took care of showing those off. These are the pieces you'll end up seeing most frequently in magazine editorials and at movie premieres. (Naturally, Lady Gaga has to wear one of the PVC raincoat gowns soon.)
The full lineup of models banded together in a straight line across the floor at the very end of the show, altogether presenting Marc's current mood, or perhaps I should say his dream: silhouettes straight out of a '60s party scene, but in a new decade, where diversity is as crucial as the Marc Jacobs brand is to closing out New York Fashion Week.
Watch Some of Simone Biles's Best Gymnastics Routines of All Time - Because She's Greatness
As I write this, Simone Biles is training for her second Olympic Games, the first of which she made history at (and would you expect anything less?!). As part of the "Final Five" at Rio 2016, Simone's five medals - one bronze and four gold - tied the record of the most medals won by a US gymnast at a single Olympics. She also became the first American to win four Olympic golds at a single Games in women's gymnastics.
Many star athletes in the sport have tried making an Olympic comeback - Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson, for example - but it's uncommon for gymnasts to return to that stage for another go around (the most recent athletes to do this were Aly Raisman and Gabby Douglas). Note: we won't officially know on paper if Simone has booked her ticket to Tokyo until the Olympic trials in late June.
However, if Simone's six-year-and-counting all-around winning streak - and the large margin of victory by which she wins - has proven anything, it's that time hasn't slowed her down. In fact, Simone added two more skills to her list of moves named after her in 2019 alone. Her routines are getting harder.
Simone has been the gymnast to beat for the better part of a decade, and she started getting skills named after her as early as 2013 (The Biles on floor). The accolades in her trophy case, besides the aforementioned accomplishments, include first woman to win four, then five, World all-around titles; most decorated gymnast in World Championship history; and the list goes on. Simone, though, will be the first to tell you that she's a) not finished yet and b) staying humble but owning her talents. Ahead, check out some of Simone's best routines of all time. Are you ready? She certainly is.

It's No Wonder Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Get Along So Well When You Look at Their Signs
Astrology isn't an exact science, but some believe the placement of the stars can say a lot about one's ability to mesh with a partner. Is this also true for royal couples? Meghan Markle and Prince Harry seem to complement each other, despite the fact that their star signs point to opposing character traits. In fact, it may be this opposition that makes them work so well together.
Meghan, who's birthday falls on Aug. 4, is a Leo. Leos like Meghan are often described as passionate and creative people, who are also generous, warm-hearted, and cheerful. But they do have their quirks.
"While Leos are notably loyal and generous to a fault, their expectations for receiving from others and for praise from the partners and their public are substantial. We can assume that Meghan has set a high bar for Harry in this respect," Jay Austin, astrologist and partner at AustinFischer Astrogenomics, told POPSUGAR.
Harry, on the other hand, is a Virgo with a birthday of Sept. 15. In a nutshell, Virgos are analytical and practical. They like organization and perfection - the best example being how Harry carries out his royal and military duties. And, if you're thinking this sounds like the opposite of a Leo, you would be correct.
Related: Is It OK For the Same Zodiac Signs to Date? Watch Out For These Red Flags
"As a Virgo, Harry is more modest and steeped in rules and regulations. (Granted, it took him a while to get there!) On the other hand, Meghan, as a Leo, wants a public platform for herself. Leos crave attention and recognition and love pageantry and putting on a show. Not coincidentally, they love acting and performing," Austin said. This is spot on given Meghan's acting career. And pageantry is definitely one way to describe the couple's elaborate royal wedding.
"Emotionally, Virgos are more reserved and less demonstrative. Leos, on the other hand, love to project themselves emotionally, and expect grand gestures from their partners," he said.
Meghan definitely fits the bill of being more emotional and expressive with her partner. She is often seen holding hands with Harry and isn't afraid to give him a peck on the cheek in public now and again. In contrast, the other members of the royal family aren't really in favor of PDA of any sort. Meghan, obviously, is changing things up.
The media has been known to jump on any action that goes against the norms of royal protocol, driving Meghan to speak out about the effects of the tabloids on her self-esteem and daily life. Her attitude toward it all might associated with her Leo traits.
"Leos, unfortunately, are particularly sensitive to criticism," Austin said. "They don't like anything to puncture the image they've created for themselves."
The way Harry reacted to Meghan's unhappiness, by way of writing a strongly worded letter to the press followed by a formal lawsuit, is also in line with his sign's characteristics of not being afraid to speak out against others, especially if they feel someone has been wronged.
Meghan and Harry are no strangers to the limelight, but it seems that it's not affecting the strong mutual attraction that remains between the two of them. And whether it be greeting royal fans or traveling to far off places for charity work, the two seem to enjoy their time together. Can they learn from each other along the way? Absolutely. A future where Leo Meghan and Virgo Harry continue to create the perfect balance in their give-and-take relationship definitely seem in the stars.

The Rodarte Bride Has the Longest Sky-Blue Train and a Matching Veil to Go With It
Kate and Laura Mulleavy introduced Rodarte's Fall 2020 collection to showgoers at St. Bartholomew's church in New York City amongst white flowers and candlelight, setting the label's signature tone. Guests were hushed before the first model, Bella Hadid, clacked her brooch-adorned heels along the tiled floors, creating an echo. And as if to set the storyline in stone, the next few looks carried out the exact same aesthetic: a glamorous '50s vibe. Modest pleated dresses with poufed shoulders and cinched waists came in polka-dot print or plaid, a print we're seeing plenty of for Fall. Shortened veils sat atop many of the models' heads, like fascinators. (Later we would find these veils were foreshadowing the most glamorous Rodarte bride we could ever imagine.)
The lineup took a sharp turn to a glam cherry bomb '80s moment, with sequined pant sets we could easily picture on Elle Fanning. But then floral appliquéd, sheer midi dresses brought us back to the romance at Rodarte's core. But there weren't just flowers - we saw (and heard!) strands of fringe shake as models outfitted in fully beaded looks took the runway, and we had sparkles in our eyes as a white glittered set spoke to Winter brides in the room in need of an afterparty look. Gothic elements were introduced later, in the form of dark hooded capes and tiered gowns with spiderweb-like circles of sequins on the bodice. Though these all-black numbers were unexpected, especially coming before a bright burst of caped floral maxi gowns we'd wear on the most lavish of vacations, they somehow fit right into a collection that remains fluid for its whimsical qualities. It doesn't matter what color a Rodarte dress comes in, it evokes the same whimsy and sensualness.
Of course, the look everyone will be talking about is the vintage inspired bridal number, a satin dress somewhere in between Champagne and ivory with a baby-blue print and floor-sweeping train that went on for 20 feet - or to be more literal, one very long, magical moment. The grand finale happened when the models took one final walk around the church and then took their places alongside the bride, each of them presenting femininity and beauty in their own unique way.
I Tried the Great Jones Dutch Oven That Went Viral, and This Multitasker Is Worth the Hype
I have seen Great Jones all over Instagram and was intrigued by the trendy company. The women-founded brand is known for its functional yet stylish cookware that's intended to leave you inspired when thinking up meals. The most popular item sold on the site is definitely The Dutchess ($145), which is why I was thrilled to try it out for myself.
The big dutch oven arrived in the prettiest green box that got me excited to open it up and get to work in my kitchen. It comes in seven colors with fun names like Marinara (the newest shade), Broccoli, Mustard, and Blueberry. The enameled cast-iron pot works for the stove and oven, so you can cook practically anything in it. The design is meant to retain heat well, so you can also place it on your table for serving once you're ready to eat.
I decided to roast a chicken, and it was the easiest process ever. I filled the pot with a whole chicken, lemon, rosemary, spices, and white wine - the deep design allows everything to cook without spewing out everywhere. Once it was ready to go, it honestly looked like the prettiest thing I ever cooked while sitting inside the Dutchess. It was easy to lift, even with my hands in oven mitts. My friends served themselves straight from the pot.
I promise you, it's the greatest gift you could ever give to your kitchen.
Now what really impressed me is how easy it is to clean. I didn't have to spend ages scrubbing it down - even the tricky bits that cooked onto the pot slid right off with some dish soap and hot water. I love my dutch oven so much, I'm planning on buying the Broccoli shade for my mom - the true cook of the family.
Make sure to check out some great Instagram photos I found of The Dutchess - warning, these pictures will leave you tempted to buy this thing for yourself. I promise you, it's the greatest gift you could ever give to your kitchen.

Don't Mind Me, Just Out Here Swooning Over Lana Condor and Noah Centineo's Friendship
Name a better friendship duo than Lana Condor and Noah Centineo. I'll wait - and I'll still be waiting until the end of time because it's pretty darn hard to find a pair of Hollywood pals cuter than them. The To All the Boys I've Loved Before costars - who play Lara Jean Covey and Peter Kavinsky in the Netflix rom-com, respectively - have explosive onscreen chemistry that certainly doesn't stop once the cameras stop rolling, as evidenced by their plethora of absurdly adorable interviews about each other. But alas, Lana and Noah are just besties IRL and won't be exploring a romantic relationship anytime soon, especially considering the fact that Lana has been dating actor Anthony De La Torre for quite some time now (sorry, die-hard shippers!).
In honor of Lana and Noah's too-pure-for-this-world friendship and the upcoming P.S. I Still Love You, we're taking a look back at their cutest photos together. Consider this your personal (virtual) scrapbook of their most frame-worthy friendship moments to date.
36 Sexy Pictures That Will Fan the Flames of Your Noah Centineo Crush
Noah Centineo is one sexy guy. Though you may have recognized him from the Freeform drama The Fosters, his fame reached new heights with the release of back-to-back Netflix movies. The 23-year-old cutie plays the role of the sensitive hottie in both of the romantic comedies To All the Boys I've Loved Before and Sierra Burgess Is a Loser, and we can't wait to see more of him in P.S. I Still Love You. Check out these pictures of the Hollywood's sexiest young star . . . and try to tell us that smile doesn't make you swoon.
I Drank Cucumber Juice Every Day For a Week - Here Are My Honest Thoughts on the Trend
Cucumbers have never really done it for me. Sure, they're great chopped up in salads and delightful when pickled, but this fruit - made almost entirely of water - has never played a starring role in my diet. Because of this, you can imagine my surprise when I learned that cucumber juice is gaining popularity in the world of wellness, just like celery juice came before it.
On closer look, cucumbers are very healthy, boasting nutrients including vitamin A and potassium, which are important for bone development, vision, and strengthening the nervous system. At just 17 calories per cup, they make an ideal low-calorie snack. "They're also rich in antioxidants called cucurbitacins," SaVanna Shoemaker, MS, LD, an Arkansas-based registered dietitian nutritionist, told POPSUGAR. "These antioxidants can help protect your body's cells from damage caused by free radicals, unstable compounds that we're exposed to via food, water, and the environment."
Naturally, after hearing just how powerful cucumbers can be, I was curious enough to give this juicing thing a try - and after a week of drinking cucumber juice every day, let's just say I've learned some valuable lessons. Here's exactly how it went.
I Did See Some Benefits . . .
My first concern was what this little experiment would do to my grocery budget. Sometimes the amount of juice extracted from fruits and vegetables turns out to be, well, not so much - but I was pleasantly surprised that one large cucumber made eight ounces of cucumber juice. One problem solved.
As for the juice itself, even at the beginning of the week, I realized that I felt more hydrated when drinking it. I was much more regular, too, which was something I had been struggling with since indulging during the holidays. SaVanna explained that both of these positive changes were likely related to my new habit. "Cucumber juice is naturally hydrating and contains minerals like potassium and magnesium that actually help maintain your body's fluid balance," she said. "Because it's so hydrating, it may help clear up your skin, reduce your blood pressure, and promote regular bowel movements."
. . . But There Were Plenty of Downsides, Too
Unfortunately, cucumber juice had fewer pros than cons for me. I quickly learned that a glass came with a helping of indigestion, bloating, and mild heartburn that lasted for the better part of the day. And I'm not alone in that: research shows that some people find cucumbers difficult to digest. Because of my sensitive stomach, I had to drink the juice alongside meals and couldn't exceed more than four ounces per serving.
I also had a sneaking suspicion that I wasn't getting as much from this healthy food as I should, even though the juice was refreshing and hydrating. Turns out, I may be on to something. "Juicing removes the fiber from the cucumber, which is one of the healthiest parts," SaVanna said. "The insoluble fiber in cucumber serves as a food source for your healthy gut bacteria and can help ease digestive issues." Because of this, she suggests including some of the pulp in the juice to help increase fiber intake. "You can also flavor your cucumber juice with other health-boosting ingredients like ginger, lime or lemon juice, or fresh mint to maximize the nutritional benefits," SaVanna added.
So, What Am I Taking Away From This?
By the end of the week, I was ready to put cucumbers back in a supporting role, not only in my dishes, but also my juices. I'll eat them regularly as part of a wide array of colorful fruits and vegetables, just as I would any other superfood. But from now on, instead of juicing them, I'll take that time to try out some fun, healthy recipes instead.

Just Like Katy Keene's K.O. Kelly, Zane Holtz Is Head Over Heels For His Wife
Zane Holtz (K.O. Kelly) may be head-over-heels in love with Katy Keene (Lucy Hale) on The CW's adaptation of Katy Keene, but off screen, he's happily married to his longtime love Chelsea Thea Pagnini. Because the couple prefer to keep their personal life private, it's unclear when Zane and Chelsea first got together, but they have four children and several cute moments on social media. Back in December, Chelsea celebrated their wedding anniversary on Instagram with a throwback photo from their wedding day. "Happy Anniversary #LoverBoy #Vegas #12.28 #FoolsRushIn," she captioned it. Sabrina Carpenter Is Making Her Broadway Debut in Mean Girls: "This Has Been a Dream of Mine"
Sabrina Carpenter is officially joining the Plastics and making her Broadway debut in the live stage production of Mean Girls. The 20-year-old actress and singer - who is best known for her work as Maya in Disney's Girl Meets World and Hailey in The Hate U Give - will replace Erika Henningsen as the show's lead, starring alongside Chad Burris, Laura Leigh Turner, and Olivia Kaufmann.
"So many emotions are flooding me," Carpenter said in an interview with Broadway.com. "This has been a dream of mine ever since I stepped foot on a stage. I didn't know I'd get so lucky for my Broadway debut to be in a show that I'm such a fan of . . . I remember having the time of my life, falling in love with the characters and just feeling like I wanted to be a part of it in any way possible . . . It feels like the start of a very exciting point in my life and I can't wait to get started!"
Carpenter won't make her official debut on stage until March 10, so until then, I'm getting cheese fries and waiting patiently to see the Plastics return to the stage. Get tickets to see Carpenter as Cady Heron on Broadway from March 10 to June 7 at meangirlsonbroadway.com and check out her full performance schedule here.
