The 2020 Bachelor Season Is Officially Over - Here's How It All Came to an End

We were expecting high drama on The Bachelor season finale, but was anyone expecting this much? Peter Weber's season came to a controversial and emotional conclusion on Tuesday night, and we're breaking down everything that happened, from the final rose and beyond.

The Engagement

At the end of the first night of the two-part finale (and after a super-awkward visit with Peter's family), Madison told Peter that she simply didn't think they were compatible. Instead of dragging things out, she eliminated herself and walked away before the final rose ceremony. Peter still had his last date with Hannah Ann (who his family, especially his mother, loved), but instead of telling her that Madison had left already, he confided in her that his heart was still feeling torn.

As a result of this, Hannah Ann was feeling unsteady on the day of the final rose ceremony. What she didn't know was that Peter had, apparently, decided that all the Madison drama was for the best because he really wanted to marry Hannah Ann. He picked out a ring with Neil Lane and even video called Hannah Ann's dad to ask for her family's blessing to propose. Of course, it wouldn't be a Bachelor final rose ceremony without a touch of drama: Chris Harrison arrived to tell Peter that he wasn't sure Hannah Ann was going to show up at all. That was quickly resolved, though: Hannah Ann did arrive after all, and she accepted Peter's emotional proposal.

Peter Has Doubts

At first, everything seemed great when they got back from Australia. Peter visited his family to tell them that he picked Hannah Ann, and they were all thrilled - no one more so than his mom Barb, who had begged Peter to choose Hannah Ann in the infamous sobbing clip that's been promoted all season long. But as the live part of the show kicked in, Peter admitted that, even then, he had been having trouble with lingering feelings for Madison and their hastily ended relationship.

At some point after their engagement, Peter showed up to see Hannah Ann, and he pulled an Arie: he broke up with her and admitted he couldn't get past his feelings for Madison. Hannah Ann didn't take the news quietly, though. She called him out for acting like he was committed to her and for getting engaged while there was still doubt in his heart: "I'm sorry, but your words, you can't be true to them. So why would I hear you out anymore? I feel betrayed enough. You betrayed me. And you know it. See? That's all I need to hear. And I'll be able to move forward knowing that you've owned up to it. I'm going to get my life back on track now, where it originally was before. You know, I'm strong, and I've been my own rock throughout this, and you don't have to worry about me."

Hannah Ann wasn't done giving Peter a piece of her mind, though. When she arrived on the live part of the show, she confronted Peter for the first time since their broken engagement, reminding him of all the things he should have done differently in their relationship. Even more surprising: she revealed that, after they got engaged, he not only was still hung up on Madison, but still wanted to reach out to Hannah Brown for "closure" on that relationship!

"We've been through a lot together, and I should have really picked up on the first red flag you gave to me, was when you wanted to reach out to Hannah Brown to find closure with her. So really, looking back on it, our engagement involved three women: Me, you still being in love with Madison and proposing to me, and you needing closure with Hannah Brown. That's three women involved in our engagement that I was completely blindsided to. So word of advice: If you want to be with a woman, you need to become a real man." And with that, Hannah Ann ended her time on The Bachelor with her head held high.

Madison Returns

Back on the live portion of the show, Chris reveals to Peter that he took a trip to Alabama to see Madison. We got to see how Chris talked to Madison, who admitted that she was emotionally a wreck after leaving Peter behind in Australia. She got visibly upset when he told her Peter got engaged, but he quickly added on the news that Peter had broken up with Hannah Ann and that it was because he still had feelings for Madison. Chris told Madison that he believed Peter's "dream" was to be with Madison.

Soon after that, Peter and Madison finally came face-to-face for the first time since their breakup, at some undisclosed poolside location. They talked about how they both made mistakes but were still in love with each other, but no decisions were made at that point and they didn't see each other again after that day. Of course, that meant that the live show would be the place for big confessions - and sure enough, Madison walked out to join Peter, where they revealed that they were still in love with each other and wanted to try to make things work.

That wasn't the end of the drama, though. When Peter's parents were asked about his ultimate choice, his mom didn't hold back: she criticized Madison for making them wait to meet her (and not apologizing for the delay) and explained that Hannah Ann, not Madison, was the one who was ready to embrace and join their family. Madison tried to defend herself and explained that she was just being true to herself, but the Webers weren't budging. "He's going to have to fail to succeed. That's it," Barb said, clearly still doubtful. "All his friends, all his family, everyone that knows him knows that it's not going to work. So we've been trying to help them. Would we want it to work? Yes."

That's where we leave Peter and his women, and it's definitely been one heck of a season! With so many ups and downs and unexpected twists, it's hard to imagine how the next season will top this one in terms of drama - but maybe it doesn't have to. Either way, we'll be ready to tune in again for Clare Crawley's season of The Bachelorette later this year!

Does Peter Weber Get Engaged on The Bachelor? Well, It's Complicated

Peter Weber's journey to love on The Bachelor has been complicated to say the least, and during the finale things take an even more dramatic turn. After Madison broke up with Peter ahead of the final rose, the 28-year-old pilot decided to get down on one knee and propose to Hannah Ann.

Although the couple seemed blissfully happy after their engagement, Peter's feelings eventually shifted. A few months after their romantic proposal, Peter and Hannah Ann had a difficult conversation about the future of their relationship. Though Peter was in love with Hannah Ann when he proposed, he told her that he couldn't be all in with her because he still had unresolved feelings for Madison. On that note, Hannah Ann gave her ring back to Peter and the two ended their engagement.

But that's not the end of Peter's love story! During the "After the Final Rose" special, we learn that Peter and Madison have actually reconciled behind the scenes. Although, it doesn't seem like the two plan on getting engaged anytime soon. Since the two have faced quite a few obstacles in their relationship, they are now deciding to take things one step at a time as a couple.

However, that might be a little hard seeing that Peter's parents still don't approve of Madison. During a heated confrontation in the finale, Madison and Barb air out their differences with each other, with Peter's mom Barb simply stating that she doesn't think their relationship will work out in the end. Yikes. We guess only time will tell!

After All the Bachelor Drama, What Is Hannah Ann's Status Right Now?

After her very public engagement and breakup with Peter Weber on The Bachelor finale, we're very invested in hoping that Hannah Ann Sluss has found happiness again. Is she dating anyone right now? While she hasn't revealed anything publicly, at least one social media post suggests that she's definitely moving on.

On the Bachelor subreddit, Reddit user u/nikilily shared a picture that appears to show Hannah Ann pretty cozy in a pool hall with a guy who is definitely not Peter or anyone else we've seen on Bachelor shows before. The guy in question? That would be Josh Dobbs, a friend of hers who happens to be a quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars! The two of them do follow each other on Instagram, and he showed up in her Insta stories matching up to the outing where they were spotted in the picture, so it's absolutely possible that they're more than friends. Spoiler expert Reality Steve also reported on the pair's public "date," citing sources who said Hannah Ann and Josh were "were all over each other and making out," although he stressed that these were unconfirmed reports and could very well have been made up.

While on Tuesday's "After the Final Rose" live show, Hannah Ann's appearance was wholly focused on revisiting and addressing her breakup with Peter; she wasn't asked at all about her current relationship status. Of course, it does make sense that she hasn't been able to address anything about who she's dating now, since the finale has only just now aired, and it's understandable if she'd rather keep things somewhat quiet for the time being, especially given how publicly her relationship with Peter imploded. Regardless of whether she's dating Josh Dobbs, someone else, or no one at all right now, we definitely hope that she finds love and happiness in whatever form she needs!

Neat! Disney World's Shimmery New Coral Minnie Ears Glisten Like Mermaid Scales

As Princess Ariel would say, I've got Disney World whozits and whatzits galore but it's no big deal because I always want more, and the park's new coral-colored Minnie Mouse Ears are next on my list of treasures to collect. The slightly irridescent ears are covered in pinkish-orange sequins that shimmer in the sunlight like an IRL mermaid tail, or, at least, how I imagine a real mermaid tail would sparkle.

The bow, while not covered in sequins, is made of a smooth, glittery material that adds a little bit of extra glam to the ears, making them worthy of joining the collection of thingamabobs in Ariel's grotto. Everything (and We Mean Everything) You Need to Know About Getting A Modern Perm

The year is 1987. Bon Jovi is blasting on every radio station, Dirty Dancing is in theaters nationwide, and the only thing people want more than the numbers of Jon and Baby's personal choreographers is their curly perm hairstyles. Fast forward to today, and a lot has changed since then: the top 100 list, "cool" dance moves, and especially the state of the perm. In fact, the look today is a lot more modern.

"The original perm was done with bare tongs that fit together, which were heated on the gas stove, said Philippe Depeyrot, co-owner of Salon Bisoux in Washington DC. "The treatment has come a long way, from hours upon hours on a machine that could burn a person to quick and painless."

Today, the style is back and bigger than ever - but the techniques and formulations have been fine-tuned to make it easy to get whatever kind of curl you're looking for: kinky coils, beachy waves, or even just some added body and bend. Even people with the straightest or finest of hair can find a little texture in the service.

A perm is a hair treatment that uses electric heat and/or chemicals to give the look of curls or waves in naturally straight hair.

"Manufacturing companies, however, are now facing a dilemma: the renaming of the perm," he said. "They decided to rename the perm the form service and then reformulate the chemicals to make the process of this style safer and friendlier than ever."

No matter what you call it - body wave perm, digital perm, S-curl perm, or what have you - we've got the answers to all your (not-really-burning-anymore) perm questions right here.

2 Little Girls Stylishly Recreated the Outfits of Inspiring Women, Including Lupita Nyong'o

In honor of International Women's Day on March 8, six-year-old Leah-Victoria Omishore (purple) and her friend Blessing (green) decided to dress up as two of the women who inspire them most: Lupita Nyong'o and Americanah author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

"On behalf of mini Lupita and mini Chimamanda, I want to say a big thank you to everyone for the love and support on my last two posts," wrote Leah-Victoriah's mom Funke Mapaderun, who handmade each stunning pantsuit out of curtains she bought at a thrift store. "I definitely had the perfect girls to model/accomplish my mission. The girls had so much fun playing Chimamanda and Lupita and were so excited to see their pictures when we were done."

Lupita, who was wearing a Imad Eduso Tiffany Pants Set ($185) in her original photo, was so impressed when she saw Leah-Victoria and Blessing's outfits that she had to post the pictures on her own Instagram account. "Nailed it!! So adorable," the Sulwe author captioned her post sharing their adorable looks. Lupita also shared videos of the girls strutting their stuff and cheers-ing to a job well done. Chiquis Posted a Photo Flaunting Her Cellulite, and I’ve Never Felt More Identified in My Life

Chiquis is out here doing a great service for curvy Latinas - and all curvy women, really - by posting a gorgeous photo on Instagram flaunting her cellulite, and pretty much proving everyone's perfect as they are.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's ever felt the pressure of looking "perfect." I come from a culture where beauty is so venerated, yet we tend to adhere to European beauty standards which pretty much negate the fact that our ancestors are African and most of us inherited their curves - among many other beautiful traits.

I think I was probably in the fourth grade when I realized I had cellulite. I saw it as something I "had to get rid of" since I saw all the commercials from all the clínicas de estética promoting different treatments to eliminate it, and overheard conversations between my mom and her friends, and even between female teachers at school.

Related: Can Diet or Exercise Diminish Stomach Cellulite? Doctors and Trainers Have the Answer

Never in my life was I told that most women have cellulite, and you don't have to be a certain body type to get it. Yes, there are ways you can control it and decrease the appearance of it, like drinking a lot of water, improving the types of foods you consume, exercising, or exploring treatments that will help speed up the process. But at first, I was under the impression I had cellulite because I was overweight, which made me feel terrible because I was 9, and there I was already starting to feel like I wasn't enough, that this "thing" that all of the sudden appeared on my body was some sort of death sentence to my beauty, and that now every kid in my class was going to make fun of me for it.

It took me years of yo-yo dieting, failed attempts with crazy regimes that would pretty much starve me, and incompetent doctors telling me I should be X weight based on my height without taking into consideration my body composition, to realize that no two bodies are the same. If I had actually gone down to the weight doctors recommended, I would've most likely looked like a corpse, which is definitely not a good look.

It took me years to internalize what Chiquis so smartly shared on her Instagram along with her gorgeous photo: "This is me, cellulite and all. Take it or leave it! Either way, I love myself." She went on to add, "An empowered woman is one who loves herself as she is, with her virtues and defects… but who is also humble and conscious enough to make the necessary changes that are required to improve in all aspects," she wrote in Spanish.

Chiquis is doing positive things to improve her lifestyle. She's trying the keto diet, and even wrote a book with Latin recipes made keto-friendly, "Chiquis Keto," coming out in April. She's working out with trainer Sarah Koudouzian, who included her workout advice in Chiqui's book, and she's not letting the haters get the best of her.

I see her, I appreciate her advocating for health rather than a specific body type, and if it just so happens that you have a little cellulite, you can embrace it and celebrate it the way that she did.

The Woman in the Window: If You're Dying to Know, Here's What She Sees

A.J. Finn's 2018 hit murder mystery The Woman in the Window is getting the big-screen treatment with an Oscar-pedigreed cast - Amy Adams is set to star as the protagonist, Anna Fox, with Gary Oldman as a neighbor who arouses Anna's suspicions. The addictive 2018 page-turner pays homage to Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window and a host of other noirish films - and fittingly so, since Anna is a fan of the old movies and also finds herself tangled in a dark tale worthy of Hitchcock himself.

If you're wondering what exactly it is the woman in the window sees before you see the movie, then keep on reading. Otherwise, turn back, because a whole lot of spoilers are coming at you.

Anna Fox is a child psychologist in her late 30s, living alone in her Harlem brownstone. She is separated from her husband, Ed, who lives away from her with their daughter, Olivia, though she talks to each of them daily. Meanwhile, Anna hasn't worked in quite a while, having been consumed by a case of agoraphobia (and a hefty amount of wine and pills) that prevents her from ever leaving her house.

Her housebound state leads her to obsess over all of her neighbors, who include the recently transplanted Russell family, consisting of father Alistair, mother Jane, and teenage son Ethan. Jane and Ethan both take an interest in Anna, and she befriends each. One day as Anna is looking into their house, she witnesses what looks like Jane being stabbed to death in the living room. When Anna goes to the police, they don't believe her, because she comes off as an agoraphobic drunk who imagined the murder, and - twist! - Jane Russell, the wife and mother, is still alive, but she's not the woman Anna had met and seen killed.

Convinced this other Jane is an impostor, Anna remains obsessed with the Russell family, sure that Alistair is the one who killed the original Jane, and that he's abusive to his son, Ethan. As Anna investigates Alistair further, she gets closer to Ethan. Meanwhile, the detectives following up with Anna reveal the stunning truth about Anna's family: Ed and Olivia, her husband and daughter whom she talks to daily, are dead.

It's revealed that the previous year, Anna and her family had gone on a weekend trip to Vermont ahead of a huge snowstorm. The vacation vibes were short-lived, though, as it was soon revealed that Ed and Anna separated due to Anna's affair with her business partner. Ed confronted Anna, forcing her to tell their daughter about their separation. Olivia was so upset that she insisted the family drive back home to New York, despite the fact that the snowstorm was about to rage. On the drive home, Anna crashed the car; though she survived the wreck, her husband and daughter did not. This loss is what drives Anna to confine herself indoors in the present in the novel, self-medicating with booze and pills. Pretending they're alive is just a symptom of her PTSD.

In present day, Alistair continues to terrify Anna and deny the existence of the original Jane Russell, but when Anna discovers a picture of the original Jane on her phone - proving she was real - Anna presses Ethan for the truth. He confesses that the original Jane Anna had met was his birth mother, Katherine, and Alistair and Jane had adopted him as a child. Katherine had been addicted to drugs when she had Ethan, and her lowlife boyfriends frequently beat him up as a kid. Now clean, she'd been lurking around the family, trying to get close to Ethan, and he reveals that Jane had murdered Katherine to protect him. He tells Anna that his parents took the body upstate and buried her, and they now fear Anna because she's the one person who'd actually seen Katherine.

While Anna tries to figure out her next move, she has an epiphany that makes her question Ethan. He appears in her bedroom then, admitting he visits her at night, and has been doing so for a while. In fact, he'd also stolen her house key, catfished her online as an elderly woman to learn the details of what happened with her family, injured her cat, and lied about his mother killing Katherine. That was all him, he confesses, letting on that he'd been diagnosed with a personality disorder. He'd been having fun manipulating Anna after he'd become obsessed with her, and chosen her as his next victim. Anna realizes the whole time Alistair had been trying to protect her from Ethan, not the other way around.

In a game of cat and mouse at Anna's home, the two have a showdown on the roof garden during a rainstorm, and Anna gets the better of the teen killer, pushing him through the skylight to his death. The story ends with Anna finally getting closure over her family's deaths and Alistair going to jail for acting as an accessory to Katherine's murder.

We can't wait to see how these twists play out on the big screen, and if the movie will be as spellbinding as one of Anna's old-movie faves, when the adaptation comes out on May 15.

The Schitt's Creek Cast Stole a Lot From Set, and Annie Murphy Has the "Pubic Relations" Diploma

The Schitt's Creek cast had "simply the best" time filming together, so it's no surprise that once the show wrapped, the actors took home momentos from their experience. The show's social media pages recently shared a video of Dan Levy, Annie Murphy, Sarah Levy, Emily Hampshire, and Noah Reid revealing the items they stole - or hope to steal - ahead of the Pop TV show's series finale. Dan said he took home "everything" from set. "It's my show, I can do what I want," he joked. I mean, he's not wrong! Annie, on the other hand, kept trinkets here and there, including Alexis Rose's "Pubic Relations" diploma. I love that for her! Watch the full video above to find out what else the cast kept for themselves. Hopefully, Catherine O'Hara snagged all of those wigs!
