Planning a trip to Disney World can feel like an overwhelming task. Sure, it's fun and truly makes everyone's dreams come true (it's the most magical place on Earth, after all), but getting there and feeling like you're getting the most out of your trip can be anxiety-inducing. There are a million tips out there for how to plan a Disney vacation the right way, but trying to incorporate all those tips might just increase your stress levels more than assuage them.

So, from a mom who's been there, here's the one and only hack you really need to make your trip to Disney World as unforgettable as you hope it'll be: focus on booking three things - lodging, dining, and FastPass+ - as early as the park will allow; then let the rest go. As my mom reminded me before my daughter's first trip to Disney, "If you go on three rides, it will still be the best day of her life." I agree, but getting on the rides she wanted, plus having a place to eat and sleep is kind of important, too.

Here's the bare minimum of what you need to stress about to make your trip as magical as possible. Focus on these three things, and you're golden.

Lodging

Start researching your Disney resort options as soon as you know you're planning a trip. There are so many places to stay within Walt Disney World at a wide range of price points that move depending on demand, so do your research to find the right spot for your family. If you're booking your lodging online, you can't do so until Disney releases the next year's rates, which is usually in August of the previous year (for example, if you're going in February 2021, you won't be able to book until August 2020).

However, you can call Disney before that and make a room-only reservation. They will charge you for a single night based on this year's rate, and then automatically adjust your reservation once the 2021 pricing is released. At that point, you can also convert your room-only reservation into a Disney Vacation Package reservation, adding dates, dining packages, and discounted park tickets. You'll also be able to customize your complimentary Magic Bands through your reservation.

Dining

You can reserve dining at all the Disney table-service restaurants up to 180 days in advance, which is a big win when it comes to planning your travels. The most popular restaurants - the Magic Kingdom's Cinderella's Royal Table and Be Our Guest, and all character dining experiences in Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom - will book up quickly during high-traffic times, so book as soon as possible. Some restaurants will require that you pay for your meal when you reserve, but if you have to cancel later, they'll give you a refund.

FastPass+

Your FastPass+ is your get-out-of-line free card for each park, so use them wisely. Each member of your group can book up to three Fastpass+ credits for each day, so you'll want to get the most out of them. Do some research into what rides and attractions are can't-misses for your group, prioritizing Fastpass+ for those with the longest lines. Then, try to book them as early as you can (30 days in advance, or 60 days for those staying at a resort hotel). The most popular rides and character meetings book up quickly, so mark your calendar.

When it comes to the Fantastic Beasts franchise, some of the most exciting moments come from the connections to the Harry Potter books. Luckily for us diehard fans, The Crimes of Grindelwald delivers a hefty dose of nostalgia. This movie has everything: we've got Voldemort's dear Nagini, a young professor McGonagall, and even a vaguely gay Dumbledore. But, that's not all! There's another character in the film that hearkens all the way back to the very first book: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. It's Nicolas Flamel.

If you don't quite recall the significance of the character, it's because Nicolas Flamel is only mentioned in passing during the book. During one scene, Hermione points out a book passage for Harry and Ron to read:

"The ancient study of alchemy is concerned with making the Philosopher's Stone, a legendary substance with astonishing powers. The Stone will transform any metal into pure gold. It also produces the Elixir of Life, which will make the drinker immortal.

There have been many reports of the Philosopher's Stone over the centuries, but the only Stone currently in existence belongs to Mr. Nicolas Flamel, the noted alchemist and opera-lover. Mr, Flamel, who celebrated his six hundred and sixty-fifth birthday last year, enjoys a quiet life in Devon with his wife, Perenelle (six hundred and fifty-eight)."

As you might remember, Hogwarts is keeping the Stone safe in the first book, tucked away under lock and key behind a series of puzzles. With the help of Professor Quirrell, Voldemort attempts to get his hands on the Stone. Obviously he's hoping to attain life everlasting. As we all know by now, Harry and co. nip that plan right in the bud. Though Flamel is alive in the year the book is set, we never see him in the flesh. That's where Fantastic Beasts comes in.

At the very beginning of the film, Dumbledore tells Newt of a safe house in Paris. It turns out the be the actual house of Flamel! We discover this when Jacob has a hilarious run-in with the alchemist, who reveals he's pretty old and frail. Nicolas is pretty instrumental, even in his small role. He helps Jacob figure out where to find Queenie, and even participates in that epic final spell that defeats Grindelwald's fire dragons. We even catch a glimpse of the Stone itself, tucked away safely in Flamel's safe. Talk about a fun cameo.

As I mentioned, Flamel continues to live his very long life until the end of the first book. With the Stone completely destroyed, he and his wife will finally be laid to rest. "They have enough Elixir stored to set their affairs in order and then, yes, they will die," Dumbledore tells Harry. "To one as young as you, I'm sure it seems incredible, but to Nicolas and Perenelle, it really is like going to bed after a very, very long day." He then says, "You know, the Stone was really not such a wonderful thing. As much money and life as you could want! The two things most human beings would choose above all – the trouble is, humans do have a knack of choosing precisely those things which are worst for them." Ugh, his mind!

Need to Smile? Watch Magnus the Therapy Dog, Official Best Boy, "Help" His Human Work Out

Let's just establish that there are few things more pure than a dog working out with their human. Case in point: Magnus the Therapy Dog loyally assisting his owner in a solid full-body workout. One 30-second video, and we're falling head over heels.

Just watch the clip and look at this good boy: holding knees for sit-ups, giving high-fives in between push-ups, and hitting downward-facing dog poses like a natural. Magnus's owner, Brian Benson, works out seven days a week with his certified therapy dog by his side, so Magnus gets lots of practice. "Since I bring him to work with me, we are together almost every hour of every day and [are] virtually inseparable," Benson told POPSUGAR. They've been together since Magnus was just 1.5 years old. (He's now almost four!)

The best part about working out with Magnus? "When I lay on the floor to do abs, he will walk or crawl over to me and lie tight by my side," Benson said. Sometimes Magnus will lay his face or whole body on top of Benson, "which makes it hard to do abs!" he said. (We're melting.)

New to Club Pilates? Here's What You Need to Know Before Your First Class

With more than 600 locations and hundreds more expected to open this year, Club Pilates has quickly become one of the most in-demand boutique fitness studios. Like the more traditional Pilates practice, these Reformer-based classes have gained popularity for their ability to lengthen and strengthen muscles, increase flexibility, and improve posture and coordination.

As a dancer, I was exposed to Pilates and absolutely loved it, mainly because it felt like physical therapy for my overworked shoulders and hips. While I didn't keep up with it, my mom - who suffers from rheumatoid arthritis - has always sworn that Pilates helps her feel good, mentally and physically, even on "stiff days." So, when I passed by a Club Pilates studio near my house and noticed that they offer free 30-minute intro classes, I decided I would give it a try. Here's a list of all the essential tips you need to know before trying it for yourself.

1. Show Up With Grip Socks

My confirmation email from Club Pilates stated that I would need grip socks, which are available for purchase at the studio. I figured I would grab a pair before class, but when I arrived, they only had toe socks in stock, which weren't exactly what I had in mind. A sweet woman overheard me ask if there were other options and offered me a pair, which I gladly accepted (thanks, Diann!). But don't bank on having a Diann in your life, and buy your grip socks ahead of time to make sure you get a style and price you feel good about.

2. Wear Layers

From experience, I knew to wear leggings and a snug-fitting top so the instructor could properly see my alignment and make corrections if needed. As a dancer, I was exposed to Pilates and absolutely loved it, mainly because it felt like physical therapy for my overworked shoulders and hips. While I didn't keep up with it, my mom - who suffers from rheumatoid arthritis - has always sworn that Pilates helps her feel good, mentally and physically, even on "stiff days." So, when I passed by a Club Pilates studio near my house and noticed that they offer free 30-minute intro classes, I decided I would give it a try. My confirmation email from Club Pilates stated that I would need grip socks, which are available for purchase at the studio. I Struggle With Depression, and When I Was at My Lowest, Running Helped Me Find Happiness

I've lived with depression for many years now. At first I was ashamed of it, but eventually I learned to view it like any other condition. These days I'm pretty high functioning. At worst, my depression causes me to feel down for a couple hours or leave a pile of dishes in the sink for days at a time because I can't bring myself to wash them. It's taken a while to get to this point, though. Before I would have periods when my depression sucked the life out of me.

One of those period was two Summers ago. At the time, I was working an internship at a digital health publication, and staying in an apartment-style dorm with three very nice roommates in the heart of Greenwich Village in New York. My internship paid really well, which meant I had the opportunity to see my friends, go to shows, eat out, and just generally have fun. And yet, I was extremely depressed. I mechanically went to the office, barely eating a meal a day. Everything I had tried to ease my symptoms had failed, and it felt like my best hope was simply to ride things out until my depression went away. Then one day I decided to start running.

I had no idea that running would be so helpful in managing my symptoms. At the time, I did it out of necessity - the gym in my dorm was small, stuffy, and had weird Summer hours, so I opted for the running trail that was just five minutes away. The first night I went out, I was a mess. I had to stop every couple minutes to catch my breath, and by the time I had run for 30 minutes, every muscle in my body ached. But I also felt much better than I had in weeks.

Running was something I actually looked forward to - it made me feel accomplished, and miraculously happier.

"Running can help improve depressive symptoms due to the physiological processes that lead to improved mood," Hillary Cauthen, PsyD, CMPC, an executive board member at the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, told POPSUGAR. "Those that engage in regular running have increased levels of the neurotransmitters serotonin, norepinephrine, and neurogenesis. Creating new neurons can assist in re-wiring our brain." According to Dr. Cauthen, running can also give you a sense of accomplishment, which can be hugely beneficial. "Those that experience depression may have difficulties with self belief and initiating tasks. Getting out of bed can be difficult. With running, even small, short runs builds positive experiences and accomplishments that one can take into fueling other successes in their life," she explained.

That was true for me. I still dreaded every social interaction, and at times even struggled to want to go to my internship, but I kept running almost every night.
