Reebok Is Launching Pride Apparel, Shoes, and Accessories to Celebrate LGBTQ+ Visibility

Last year, Reebok promised to donate up to $50,000 in proceeds from its Pride collection to Boston-based nonprofit Fenway Health. This year, the brand's Pride efforts look a little different: Reebok just launched its "All Types of Love" collection featuring footwear, apparel, and accessories. This coincides with its "Proud Notes" campaign, which celebrates activists and influencers in the LGBTQ+ community.

The campaign highlights the stories of five people: Wazina Zondon, co-creator of the storytelling performance Coming Out Muslim; Twiggy Pucci Garçon, a choreographer for the show Pose and program director for True Colors United; dance teacher and performance artist Nali Flower; painter and model Dylan Camp; and June, another model with New Pandemics.

The video ahead showcases these activists and influencers reading letters of support addressed to them from loved ones. You can check out more about them on the Reebok blog. What's more, Reebok is donating $75,000 to the nonprofit It Gets Better Project, whose mission is to uplift, empower, and connect LGBTQ+ youth around the globe.

Matt Wyman, Reebok's associate creative producer and co-chair of Colorful Soles, Reebok's LGBTQ+ employee resource group, told POPSUGAR, "Reebok has had Pride collections before, but this year's is all about growth and authenticity. From concept ideation to design to product storytelling, our LGBTQ+ employees led the All Types Of Love collection for Pride 2020. This year the products you see and the sentiment behind them are truly an authentic representation of the LGBTQ+ community at Reebok. We wanted our collection to take consumers on a journey of love, acceptance, and inclusivity."

Michael Jordan's 2 Marriages Are an Important Part of His Life Story

While The Last Dance focuses largely on Michael Jordan's legendary basketball career, it's impossible to talk about his life without also talking about his marriages. Jordan has been married twice and has five children between both of his marriages, and as of 2019, he's even a grandfather! Despite his fame, Jordan has kept his personal life fairly low-key over the years, with neither of his public relationships resulting in any scandals or headline-grabbing events, and we really admire that about him! Ahead, you can read up on the basic facts of each of his marriages and the two women he's been married to, proving that not all celeb marriages are superpublic affairs.

HBO's Golden State Killer Doc Is About to Wreak Havoc on Your Psyche For 6 Straight Weeks

The Golden State Killer terrorized California throughout the 1970s and '80s, committing at least 50 sexual assaults and 12 murders. Although she didn't have a badge, the late Michelle McNamara dedicated every moment of her spare time to researching and identifying the serial killer. She wrote about the experience in her book I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer, which was coauthored by several other crime journalists and published posthumously in 2018. The story has inspired a new docuseries, premiering on HBO on June 28.

The true crime book-turned-documentary series, simply called I'll Be Gone in the Dark, will have a total of six parts. Beginning at 10 p.m. on June 28, each part will air on consecutive Sundays in the same time slot. Like most HBO series, it will be available to stream beginning at 7 p.m. on the West Coast.

I'll Be Gone in the Dark gives a look into the initial flawed investigation, McNamara's part in bringing the killer to justice, and how the case impacted her mental state. The story is told through McNamara's own words, using exclusive recordings and excerpts from her book read by actor Amy Ryan. You can also expect new content in the detective story, including interviews with detectives, survivors, and family members of the violent rapist and killer. Although this story unfolds the chilling details and unfathomable crimes of the Golden State Killer, this is also a series about obsession and persistence.

Watch the trailer for I'll Be Gone in the Dark below.

Wondering What Songs You're Hearing on Sweet Magnolias? Let Us Help With That, Honey

Netflix's new drama Sweet Magnolias has the kind of soundtrack that you can put on whenever and just genuinely enjoy. Surprisingly, there are only a handful of actual songs on the soundtrack; the new Netflix series seems mostly to prefer its own original underscoring by James Jandrisch. That being said, the show's music team has chosen several preexisting songs to add an extra layer to some of the most pivotal scenes, and we've tracked down as many of them as we can.

It's worth noting that one of the show's most noticeable songs isn't actually available anywhere to stream or purchase right now. That would be "Change Is Gonna Come" by Katie Pruitt, which shows up significantly in the first episode (and also has appeared recently on Station 19 and Nancy Drew), but isn't available on Spotify, Apple, YouTube, or any other platforms at the moment. There are plenty of songs that are available, though, so keep reading to see which songs from Sweet Magnolias you want to add to your playlists!

A Look Back at Meryl Streep and Don Gummer's 40+ Years Together

Meryl Streep knows a thing or two about long-term success, and her marriage is no exception. She and her husband, Don Gummer, have been married for over 40 years, and he's been by her side at a number of industry events and award shows since they got together in the late '70s. The pair first met through Meryl's brother, who came to NYC with his friend Don to help Meryl move out of her apartment following the death of her partner, actor John Cazale.

At the time, Meryl's acting career was just kicking off, and after she moved out of the loft she'd shared with John, Don invited her to stay in his vacant apartment while he traveled abroad. They kept in touch, and when he returned to the city, they struck up a romance and tied the knot about six months later. The couple has four kids together, including one son and Meryl's three lookalike daughters.

Keep reading for a look back at some of Meryl and Don's sweet appearances together through the years - including, of course, many nights out at the Academy Awards.

Lily Collins Opens Up About Her Mental Health as a Teen to Comfort Fans: "We're Not Alone"

On Wednesday, Lily Collins opened up in a candid Instagram post about her mental health during her late teens and 20s. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Week in the UK, which runs from May 18 to 24, the actor looked back 14 years ago, at her teenage self, and reflected on her struggles in hopes that it'll give her fans comfort and encouragement.

Lily posted a photo of herself at the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood party back in 2006 (when she was 16), along with the caption, "On the surface, this was a happy, confident girl. On the inside, I was struggling with so much insecurity and doubt within myself." She continued, "At this age throughout my late teens and into my twenties, it felt really difficult to speak out about my internal struggles - with family, with relationships, eating disorders and overall uncertainty."

She added that the topic of mental health should never be taboo and wishes she could tell her younger self that "we're never alone." She also encouraged fans to lean on good friends and family, and focus on the positives, noting that this is especially important right now with stay-at-home orders still predominantly in place. Lily ended her candid post with a hopeful message, "But let's give ourselves and each other a little boost of encouragement this week and everyday moving forward and try our hardest not to judge one another too harshly. Self care is not selfish. It's self love."

Fans were quick to comment and thank Lily for her honesty. Director Charlie McDowell (who Lily has been dating since last summer) also commented on the post: "What a beautiful human you are. Inside and out."

This Summer Wardrobe Staple Is One You've Definitely Seen Before

Basically, if you don't have a favorite tank top, now's the time to shop.

From classic ribbed styles to scoop necks and racer-backs, these 15 tank tops are winners in our books. They're flattering and perfect for layering. The hardest part might just be choosing a favorite.

Reentry Anxiety Is Real - Why You May Experience It as Stay-at-Home Measures Ease

When the coronavirus stay-at-home orders began in March, most people's lives changed in immeasurable ways. At the time, we were bombarded with (admittedly, very helpful) advice on how to cope with anxiety, should we experience it during this time of social distancing and sheltering in place. But with restrictions slowly starting to ease in many parts of the world, there are many people who have seen an increase in anxiety all over again, this time about leaving their homes and reentering society. Posts about people's growing anxiety have been popping up around social media for the past couple of weeks, and it's given rise to the term "reentry anxiety."

We wanted to find out exactly what reentry anxiety is, whether it's normal to be experiencing trepidation about leaving your stay-at-home orders, and how to cope if you are feeling anxious.

What Is Reentry Anxiety?

The short answer is that "post-lockdown anxiety is real," said Dr. Balu Pitchiah, consultant psychiatrist and scientific advisor to Cannaray, who added that it's normal to feel like the storm might be subsiding, but the unknown danger remains.

Dr. Elena Touroni, consultant psychologist and cofounder of The Chelsea Psychology Clinic in London, agreed. "We went into lockdown with the understanding that it was protecting us from harm," Dr Touroni told POPSUGAR. "If you've been told that it's not safe to be out and about, it's only natural that leaving lockdown would trigger anxiety for some people." She explained that many people have felt that their home has become a "safe bubble" during this time, so it's normal that we might feel exposed when coming out of it.

What Is the Cause of Reentry Anxiety?

Dr. Touroni and Dr. Pitchiah both agreed that forced change is likely the root cause of reentry anxiety. "In this context specifically, we need to be aware of the messages that have been given to us: like 'stay home, stay safe,'" said Dr. Touroni. "It can take time to undo those kinds of messages, so it's understandable that we might feel a sense of worry and anxiety."

Dr. Pitchiah explained that people are typically used to routines, roadmaps, and specific timelines, but those simply don't exist during the current COVID-19 pandemic. "The uncertainty of the future, unknown fear of the impact of the virus, and a forced change to the 'normal' way of life does cause a great deal of stress," he said. "This leads to a feeling of a lack of control, anxiety, and a heightened perception of threat." He explained that while staying at home brought a great deal of relief for those who were forced to do multiple anxiety-inducing activities each day, "a number of us will now be quite comfortable with the new 'norm' and may now be worrying about what comes next." He added that there's also the "additional fear of catching the virus once we come out of lockdown due to exposure."

Who Is Most Likely to Experience Reentry Anxiety?

"This world of COVID-19 has posed some very real anxieties for almost all of us," said Dr. Touroni. "It has amplified health anxieties and caused financial worries about the future, and it's likely to have exacerbated any preexisting anxieties even more. Anxiety itself is a feeling of threat or vulnerability to harm in the world, so it's understandable that this would be heightened given everything that has happened."

Many people have felt that their home has become a "safe bubble" during this time, so it's normal that we might feel exposed when coming out of it.

When specifically speaking about reentry anxiety and, in particular, how conflicting messages from governments could be contributing to this, Dr. Touroni admitted that distrust or uncertainty toward government is likely to have an impact. "It's also about the way we relate to authority figures on a more personal level; whether we believe they're there to protect us, or we're more distrustful of them. If you have a tendency to not trust authority figures, then you're more likely to experience the government as being neglectful or acting in a self-interested way." She also explained that if you are generally more cautious day-to-day, then you're more likely to experience a high level of anxiety getting back into the world in the post-lockdown phase.

People who weren't anxious or worried about staying at home in the first place probably won't experience reentry anxiety, according to the experts. "I've noticed that the people who have generally found lockdown very difficult didn't necessarily feel like they needed it in order to feel safe to begin with," said Dr. Touroni. "Because of this, they're not feeling particularly anxious about coming out of it. Whereas, the people who found lockdown comforting are the ones who are now experiencing more anxiety around coming back out." She said that the latter group are generally the same people who embraced the idea of a "new normal" and focussed on finding a version of normal that made them feel safe. "The people who weren't anxious to begin with don't necessarily want a new normal and instead are experiencing a sense of loss (rather than anxiety) of things not going back to the way they were."

How to Cope With Reentry Anxiety

Dr. Pitchiah has some simple strategies to managing any reentry anxiety you may be experiencing, and it all starts with acknowledging that it is real. He also suggested trying to deal with one worry at a time, and categorizing the things you can and can't control (and focus on the former). One thing you can control is creating a calm environment which might coincidentally help to calm your feelings, too - a comforting blanket, soothing music, or a scented candle might help to make self-nurturing activities a priority. He also suggested establishing a routine (and sticking to it), picking out the positive elements in your daily life to focus your energy toward, and, most importantly, never hesitating to seek professional help if necessary; you are not alone.

When faced with returning to the "real world", Dr. Touroni encourages everyone to be aware of the facts when it comes to the current levels of COVID-19 in their community. "Be aware of the statistics and take an approach that is proportionate to how threatening the virus is to you (and your friends and family). Stay connected to your own goals and values in life. How do you want to live your life? Can you see the benefits of life reopening? What do you stand to gain from connecting with your friends and family again?"

Jacqueline Kennedy's Skin-Care Routine From 1963 Has Us Ready to Soak Up the Sun

More than 25 years after her death, former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis continues to live on as a beauty icon. Her minimalistic makeup style and love for fiery red lipstick continues to inspire people's beauty looks everyday, and the Makeup Museum has finally blessed us all with her exact skin-care routine from 1963. In an Instagram post on Thursday, the New York City museum unveiled a document outlining Kennedy's full and detailed skin-care consultation notes written up by Hungarian dermatologist Erno Laszlo.

The notes, dated May 1, 1963, instructed Kennedy to not use more than the prescribed amount of oils and creams on her skin to prevent the return of bumps, pimples, and blackheads from when the temperature is above 70 degrees through to the end of September. To avoid varicose veins, Kennedy's doctor also recommended walking for exercise, which she promised to do along the golf course at Cape Cod.

There are also a few differences in Dr. Laszlo's advice from what a dermatologist today would recommend, like suggesting she massage her arms and legs with a bronzing oil beforehand "because the sun is good for her" and "she should not be afraid of getting brown spots."

In addition to her skin-care routine, the consultation document also revealed Kennedy's daily diet - mostly meat, vegetables, and champagne - and Dr. Laszlo recommended she eat more fish products. Cape Cod sounds like an ideal place follow through with those doctor's orders.

Want to Get Strong at Home? Here Are 7 Bodyweight Strength Workouts Your Muscles Will Love

If your at-home gym - or, you know, that corner of your living room where you squeeze in your workouts - is lacking in the equipment department, you're definitely not alone. I finally managed to get my hands on a few sets of light dumbbells, but even those are no match for my gym's weight racks and rows upon rows of machines. (And floor space. Oh, the floor space. What I wouldn't do for a big, empty studio right now!) No-equipment cardio workouts are a little easier; you can always go for a run or fly through some burpees. But when you're sitting there with nothing but a mat - and sometimes not even that - what are you supposed to do about strength workouts?

As usual, it's bodyweight moves to the rescue. While bodyweight workouts aren't going to build major muscle the way weighted ones do, they're a great way to get you stronger, leaner, and more functional in everyday life. Especially effective are compound bodyweight moves, which can help you improve muscle definition - and get you through workouts faster and more efficiently - by working multiple muscle groups at once. Convinced? We've rounded up seven effective bodyweight strength workouts, all free, all on YouTube, to get started. Find some space, grab some water, and get ready to work!
