#ShareTheMedicalMic: Follow the Campaign Amplifying Black Women in Medicine
After the success of #ShareTheMicNow, an initiative aimed at expanding the dialogue around racial justice, two female physicians have launched a similar campaign to amplify Black voices in medicine. On July 22, the #ShareTheMedicalMic hashtag on Instagram was filled with posts from Black women physicians, in an effort to shed light on the racial disparities that still exist in health care.
The initiative was launched by doctors Renee Paro and Lauren Powell. Forty women from a variety of specialties signed over their Instagram accounts in order to give their Black colleagues a platform to discuss some of the most pressing issues facing the Black community, including health conditions that disproportionately claim the lives of Black women, like heart disease and maternal mortality. Just as important, the campaign brings attention to the lack of diversity and representation in medicine, and the ways racism seeps into the healthcare system.
We encourage you to explore the #ShareTheMedicalMic hashtag. Read, listen, and educate yourself on the topics presented, and be sure to follow the Black doctors who were involved in the campaign. Ahead, you'll find a full list of the doctors who participated, as well as a glimpse of some of the conversations sparked by this initiative. Wake Up, Sleepyhead, Disney Is Dropping a New Hocus Pocus Spirit Jersey
We sadly don't have an update on the long-awaited Hocus Pocus sequel, but we do have exciting news for fans that might hold us over in the meantime. In celebration of the movie's 27th anniversary, which was released in July 1993, shopDisney is coming out with a new spirit jersey that embodies the spooky spirit of the Sanderson sisters.
The bright green long sleeve features an ombre design all around, with cartoon versions of the Sanderson sisters printed on the back. While the new jersey has yet to drop on shopDisney's website, the official @disneystyle account said last week that the tee was "coming soon," so hopefully, we won't have to wait much longer to get our hands on the comfy jersey. Get a closer look at the details above.

13 Cute Sports Bras You Can Buy on Sale Right Now
Sports bras are perhaps the most necessary part of our workout wardrobe, but we don't replace them nearly as often as we should. Though it's tempting to find a style you like and cling to it for dear life, the reality is that sports bras are undergarments and should be replaced after about a year or so of consistent wear. We, admittedly, have some very old sports bras in our workout wardrobe, so it's time to go shopping for some new styles. If we're buying styles anyway, we might as well be buying on sale.
These eight sports bras are discounted right now, and they'll make such cute additions to your activewear drawer. From fun strappy styles that double as a crop top to patterned picks and ones that can withstand an hour-long dance cardio workout, it's going to be hard narrowing down your favorites. Our motto is that you can never have too many sports bras, so get shopping before they go out of stock!

I Never Expected This Staple to Become My Go-To Summer Accessory
I have always maintained that I don't look great in a hat. However, I've recently been going on a lot of hikes, and since I've also started using retinol, I'm more conscious of having my face in the sun, so I've resorted to grabbing a baseball hat before I go outside. To my surprise, I actually like the way they look, and feel sort of sad that I waited this long to bring them into my wardrobe. They give a cool, effortless look to both athleisure and casual looks, and honestly, they're my most used accessory this summer.
If you want to try a baseball hat, we love these 15 styles. They're cool, casual, and add a little something extra to any outfit. Just keep reading to shop our selects.
Hipster Ariel Marries Eric in This Fantasy Beach Wedding
Traci Hines, a real-life hipster Ariel, marries her own Prince Eric in this epically creative and stylish beach wedding shoot inspired by The Little Mermaid. Seriously, from the bride's dip-dyed gown to the tutu-clad bridesmaids - and don't even get me started on the shimmery tablescapes adorned with ocean-themed delicacies - this is the sort of magical big day Disney dreams are made of. Here's more about the 2014 shoot (which still remains one of our favorites of all time) from the team that put it together:
Many children dream of their future wedding, and most of our romantic notions about love come from childhood dreaming with a cast of fairy tale characters. In the spirit of that romantic nostalgia, we are excited to share this amazing fantasy photo shoot. The vision behind this shoot was to re-create the classic "tail" (pun fully intended) of The Little Mermaid, and transform Ariel (modeled by singer/designer Traci Hines) and Prince Eric (modeled by Leo Camacho), into a modern hipster wedding couple!
See the incredible wedding and get the full list of vendors ahead!

Mamamoo's Hwa Sa Covered Harry Styles's "Watermelon Sugar," and I'd Like to Request a Duet
Ever since Harry Styles dropped his very, um, sensual music video for "Watermelon Sugar" back in May, the singer's not-so-subtle lyrics have been on replay all summer. And while I'm admittedly not mad about it, a fresh approach is always welcome. So, allow me to introduce you to this sultry cover by Hwa Sa, a member of popular K-pop girl group Mamamoo, for a taste of the singer's impressive vocals and a moody take on the song. The singer released a retro-themed video of her own on Wednesday, just one day before the 10-year anniversary of Styles's former band One Direction. While Hwa Sa's rendition holds true to the original, her unique voice definitely adds a whole new vibe. Watch Hwa Sa's mesmerizing cover of "Watermelon Sugar" above.
Jennifer Garner Tears Up As She Talks About the "Heaviness" Families Everywhere Feel Right Now
Jennifer Garner is feeling the "heaviness" many parents are experiencing during the worldwide coronavirus pandemic. The actress recently sat down for a meditation session with Chelsea Jackson Roberts, and got emotional talking about how her kids - Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, 8 - are coping.
"I think right now, what I am experiencing, and a lot of what I am hearing from my girlfriends, and this is trivial in the overall sense of what the world is going through . . . I'm really thinking about my kids," she said. "And what their experience is going to be."
"What is this year full of transitions gonna look like for kids, for my family?"
Jennifer acknowledged that she and her three kids are in a very fortunate position, but it's still difficult. "We have broadband, we have excellent teachers who can teach over Zoom - that is one in a million possibility in this world - and yet, it's also a depressing one," she said. "What is this year full of transitions gonna look like for kids, for my family? How can I keep joy in learning for them or help them just continue to find their resilience? That's where I am today."
Chelsea met Jennifer's worries with compassion, and applauded her transparency as she saw Jennifer tear up. She encouraged Jennifer to be vulnerable and allow herself to bring her feelings to the surface. "I've come from a lineage of women who've had to - as a survival mechanism - not really pause to feel and understand the impact that all of our experiences have on our bodies," Chelsea said.
Jennifer reiterated that she feels "so lucky" to be in the "luckiest possible circustances" with a roof, food, and a family in good health. She also acknowledged that there's a time and place to feel all the emotions. "I think it's easy to also focus on how lucky you are, and that is true. And I do and I am," she said. "But you have to also let the other stuff be there at the same time, it has to coexist."
Jennifer continued, "It is heavy, it's heavy for everyone. How do kids in this world not just live in all this heaviness?"
