We're Rooting For the Author of a Brutally Honest Yelp Review, and the Reason Will Surprise You
Matthew Goodyear admits he's not one for posting Yelp reviews each and every time he eats out, but after a morning of serious self-reflection, he knew it was time for his first post. After the 27-year-old finally realized that he was losing an ongoing battle with alcohol, he decided to open up about his struggle in a brutally honest Yelp review of a little place called Pignone's Café.
"I realized that Oct. 23, 2017 was Day 1 of my sobriety. I am an alcoholic and an addict, and I finally accepted those two things while I was sitting at the corner table of this café at 6 a.m. hungover with a five-hour car ride ahead of me. Step 1 of the 12 Step Program is acceptance. It was in this place that I finally accepted what I am. I can finally move on with my life and deal with my issues. I will be OK. Eventually," he wrote.
Those who struggle with alcoholism know just how vicious of a cycle it can be. You drink to blow off steam or simply to forget the embarrassing things you did or said the last time you were drunk - and that's when it really gets messy. Goodyear explained just how bad it can get: "I hit rock bottom for the first time in NYC in October 2013. Then I hit a new low, my current rock bottom, last October. It was scary. Still is, actually. Massive panic attack. Couldn't sleep for four straight days. It was brutal. That made me turn to drinking even [more.] That's not the solution to anyone's problems. Certainly not any of mine."
He also reminded readers that alcoholism and addiction affect way more lives than just the person drinking:
[October is my mom's] favorite month for many reasons. Least of which is probably the fact she was born then. Anyway, her new favorite reason to love October can be because it is when I finally stopped drinking. She has wanted me to stop for a long time. Longer than anyone else. Forever, really. She didn't want me to start. It runs in the family, on both sides, with both of my parents, unfortunately. Neither of them are, but it's a slippery slope. I slipped immediately. Sophomore year of high school. I liked it way too much, right away. Being a beer pong beast didn't help, but it always turned me into an animal. That's not how I will act moving forward. That is a very good thing.
Other than detailing the challenges many people are too afraid to admit they deal with each and every day, Goodyear had some practical advice for anyone who plans to visit Pignone's Café: "The people are nice, and most importantly, the food is great . . . Two thumbs up, five stars, whatever. Go to this place. Support their business. They take plastic, and there is a Bank of America right next to it. I went to the ATM so I could leave a 100 percent tip on my meal. I am not bragging. I am also not rich. Not even close. But they deserved it. Perfection."
Talk about an honest review.
This Black Hole GIF Is Utterly Mesmerizing
This might be just a simulation of two merging black holes, but it's still insane to look at. Uploaded on Reddit, the GIF made it to the front page and has collected more than 1,000 comments so far.
But as a commenter pointed out, it's actually the work of SXS, or Simulating eXtreme Spacetimes. This group of researchers from Caltech and Cornell University simulate extreme space times to better understand physics in the cosmos. They also produced a paper about the project called "What would a binary black hole merger look like?" and an accompanying video.
What, exactly, would happen if two black holes collided? They would probably merge to become one bigger black hole, but it would be extremely violent, producing enormous amounts of energy and sending gigantic ripples through the universe called gravitational waves. Amazing.
Google Clips Won't Replace Your Camera - but It Will Change Everything About How You Take Photos
When news broke last year that Google would be releasing a camera, I wasn't totally sold on the idea. But after spending nearly two weeks with Google Clips, I've done a complete 180. I now can't imagine not having the tiny device around, and there are a couple of very good reasons for that.
First of all, it's absolutely essential that you read the fine print on what Google Clips actually is. It is not a replacement for your existing DSLR or hi-res phone camera; instead, it's the ultimate tool for supplementing those snaps you'd normally take on a daily basis, making sure that you, as the photographer, aren't always on the other side of the camera. By removing the need to stage your photos, you gain the ability to take part in the moments as they happen - and that's what Google Clips is all about: those candid moments that will be treasured forever - but aren't planned in advance.
So, let's move on to when you unbox Google Clips. Inside the packaging, you'll find a tiny, self-contained camera; it requires no data to function, and all the stills and videos it captures are kept within the device until you choose to move the files over to a smartphone or Google Photos. On the face of the camera is an indicator light that lets anyone within range know that you're capturing images, and it seeks out the action that can be captured within a 10-foot radius. It's not interested in the far-off distance; it's all about what's happening in the vicinity of the camera itself (and, honestly, you're more likely to capture the best shots when it's less than five feet away).
Also in the box is a rubbery clip-on case, and it's here that the magic truly happens. The camera is designed to be hands-free, and as a result, if you try to force Google Clips to capture something on demand, you're probably not going to get anything near what it is that you want. This takes a bit of getting used to - more than once I tried to force the camera to take stills on command, which is doable but not advisable - but after a few (probably hilarious) misfires, you start to get the hang of what you're meant to do: clip the camera to a stationary object at a height that is likely to be able to capture an entire scene, hop back in and do whatever you were doing, and let Google Clips do the work for you.
Once you've turned the camera on and set it loose to capture candids while you're doing any sort of normal activity - making dinner, playing with your children or your pets - the AI within Google Clips searches for clear, blur-free faces (and amazingly, that extends to pets as well), snapping the ones that are most appealing and contain smiling, happy expressions. That's not to say that it won't take a video of you if you're frowning (trust me, it will), but what it's actively looking for within its facial recognition system are the good moments, the ones you'll want to see tomorrow, not delete immediately.
At this point, you're probably wondering how on earth one figures out what's in the frame. I'll be honest: before using the camera and understanding why there's no viewfinder on the device itself, I had the same thought. But it's all done through the Google Clips app - an app that, I will wholly admit, I'm now obsessed with - and you can, at any time, check out the live view of what your camera is capturing at any given time right on your smartphone. It's also an incredibly useful way to edit and sort your photos; you can choose to keep those that are deemed to be shoo-ins or all of your hits and misfires . . . it's totally up to you. But take my word for it: mere days after starting to use the camera, you'll know exactly where to look for the things you want (and how to capture them). It becomes intuitive in a way that's truly hard to define but has absolutely changed the way I approach my own photo-taking.
Ultimately, Google Clips isn't going to replace your camera, but it's changed everything for me in terms of being able to be part of the action and not just the one trying to get everyone to stand still. I still take photos of moments that I absolutely cannot live without documenting, but those moments are supplemented by a whole host of new and great angles that, for once, include me. And that means our family photos feel more authentic, more friendly, more alive.
For decades, Google has paved the way for new, innovative technology, and with Google Clips, it has carved out a new niche by targeting parents and pet owners who never quite get the shot of their dreams - and as a whole, if you fall into either of those categories, we can't recommend highly enough that you try out the camera for yourself.
People Are Calling Vero the New Instagram - but Is It Worth the Hype?
Seemingly overnight, my Twitter timeline and Instagram feed suddenly became filled with posts about friends who were joining some mysterious social platform called Vero. "Good lord, not another one," I thought, scrolling past the multitude of "Join me on Vero!" posts. It reminded me of the hype surrounding the launches of Google+, Vine, and Periscope - each began with fervor but eventually faded into relative disuse.
But for the sake of maintaining my own status as a hip millennial (and helping keep you in the know), I've gone ahead and done some research on Vero. What's the deal with the new social media sensation? Here's what you need to know.
What is it?
Vero is a "true social" platform that launched in 2015 as an answer to people seeking a more authentic online social experience. Vero describes itself as "a social network for anyone who loves anything enough to share it - and wants control over who they share it with. Just like we do in real life." The platform allows users to share movies, TV, music, books, places, photos, and links . . . just like most other social platforms.
How is it different from other social media platforms?
The major draw to Vero is the way it easily allows for more selective sharing. You categorize every person you connect with on Vero into one of four buckets based on your relationship: close friend, friend, acquaintance, or follower. Then, you can pick and choose which connection buckets to share each update with.
Also, because of its subscription-based model (more on that to come), Vero is an ad-free interface. When you're used to auto-play ads and endless sponsored content on your feed, it's a nice change.
Why is it taking off right now?
There are several reasons Vero has skyrocketed in popularity lately, not the least of which is the fact that Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter insist on nonchronological feed algorithms despite massive user backlash, driving many people to seek a new space for social solace. These same algorithms have also made it harder for influencers to monetize their content due to lack of visibility, so they're jumping ship in hopes that Vero will offer a better social landscape. Plus, the recent removal of the Sarahah app from Apple and Google stores has left some users with a desire for something new and exciting in the social space.
Is it actually worth ditching Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter?
According to the first batches of reviews on other forms of social media . . . no. Some of the common complaints include major user-interface issues and a general lack of posted content. Then again, no social experience is worthwhile until it attracts a larger user base, so perhaps Vero will improve as more people join.
What's the catch?
One of the buzziest points about Vero is that only the first 1 million users will be able to enjoy the app for free. People who join after the app hits its 1M-user mark will have to pay an annual subscription fee.
There has also been viral backlash about the platform's terms of service and with the controversial sources of its funding.
What are people saying about it?
Keep reading for some of the many reactions to Vero since its popularity began to soar, then get the scoop on other popular apps like HQ Trivia and #Twinning.

The Viral Story of an Abandoned Dog Found in a Garbage Bag Will Make Your Heart Cry
Malissa Sergent Lewis was driving through her hometown of Harlan, KY, when she noticed a black garbage bag moving along the side of the road. Curious, Lewis went to inspect the bag only to find an abandoned puppy inside of it. Though the puppy had a collar, it didn't have a tag.
In an interview with The Dodo, Lewis explained the unexpected and horrifying discovery. "I could hardly wrap my mind around that," she said. "Something was alive in that bag, and I just knew I had to get whatever it was out." As one might imagine, the dog was relieved to be found. "As soon as I opened it up, and he saw light, he just started wagging his tail. He knew he was OK," she said.
Lewis has yet to figure out the circumstances surrounding the dog's abandonment, but investigators are reportedly looking into it. Lewis did share the miraculous story on Facebook in a series of videos that have gone viral with close to 20,000 shares. Accompanying the videos is a caption that states, "If this is your puppy, let me know. If you are the scoundrel who put it in a garbage bag and tossed it on the side of the road . . . you're a sicko."
Lewis is currently trying to find a permanent home for the dog, but she will continue to foster it until that happens. Perhaps one of those 900,000 viewers might be interested?
Exclusive: Lyft Launches Rewards Program For Business Riders
At a time when nearly every modern convenience has a user-friendly rewards program, I've always found myself praying that the car rides I've taken over the years were secretly adding up to one supersweet reward. Well, it would seem that Lyft was listening to my prayers. On Feb. 27, the on-demand transit company entered the loyalty program game in a big way - and we've got all the details on what that entails, exclusively.
The Lyft Business Rewards program gives users the option to rack up rides for credit. In other words, the more you use Lyft on your business account, the more credit you'll earn toward free rides on your personal time. Traveling for work? Even just expensing your rides to and from the airport will put you nearly halfway toward your next rewards bonus. And take it from someone who's spent a whole hell of a lot of time pondering the potential for a program like this: these rides add up quickly.
The good news is that the process for getting started in the program could not possibly be easier. All you need to do is be invited to participate in the program - and have created an active business profile, or be in the process of doing so - after which you'll be given the option to opt in to the rewards program on email or in the app. From there, you just ensure that you schedule your next ride (and all subsequent, appropriate rides) under your business profile. For every five rides priced $10 or more, you'll earn $5 of personal credit, allowing you to earn up to $100 in credit to spend at your leisure (or, more aptly, use for your leisure).
Here's hoping that this is the beginning of what clearly has the potential to be a wonderful relationship between loyalty programs and ride services . . . and that other businesses take a hint from Lyft and start answering my prayers more often.

30+ Cuba Travel Tips You Need to Know Before You Go
I had barely put down my fork after finishing a Cuban meal prepared in a privately owned restaurant called a paladar when someone grabbed my hand and pulled me to my feet. Live music accompanied our meal, and turning down an impromptu salsa dance just isn't acceptable - so dance I did.
Light-footed from sips of Havana Club rum and ready to try out the moves I learned at a lesson earlier in the week, I couldn't help but smile at my situation. Traveling to Cuba as an American means a lot of things. It means navigating a rather complicated system of rules, restrictions, and politics. It means dealing with the reality of a president who is currently making it harder by the day to experience all this country - just 90 miles off the United States coast - has to offer. It means understanding and respecting the harder realities of what Cubans and Cuban-Americans have gone through and are still going through - something tourists should be aware of.
I was able to travel to Cuba with Backroads, an active travel company that made a biking trip through the country launching in January 2017 - full of logistical complications and red tape - look like a breeze and seem like a complete dream.
The trip began in Havana, a city with crumbling historical homes juxtaposed beside colorful structures and shiny, newly reconstructed buildings. We biked daily through towns along the northern coast, by farmland, over hills, and past parts of lush jungle and forest. Experiencing a trip like this, in the open air rather than closed up in a tour bus or car, was like nothing else I've ever done. After eight days, a thousand answers and even more questions, new friendships with Cubans, and yes, a few cigars and sips of Cuban coffee and rum, I learned a thing or two about a place that is in some ways a bit of a mystery to many Americans, due in large part to the embargo and the nature of US-Cuba relations for the past 50+ years.
These takeaways and tips will help you plan your Cuban trip and will hopefully help make your time on this Caribbean island as wonderful (and enlightening!) as my own experience. I'm already counting down the days until I can return to this beautiful place.

We Can Definitively Say That Chris Pine Has Only Gotten Hotter With Age
Chris Pine steamed up the big screen as Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman and is currently starring as a hot dad in A Wrinkle in Time, but he's actually been giving us heart eyes since he hit the scene in the 2006 romantic comedy Just My Luck. With his baby face, piercing blue eyes, and undying commitment to rocking high-waisted trousers, it's no wonder that some of Hollywood's hottest models and actresses have fallen for the guy - he even managed to look hot with a f*cking handlebar mustache!
In addition to his good looks, Chris can sing, dance, and also has a sense of humor; he isn't afraid to admit that he's not the only hot Chris in Hollywood, and despite our plethora of choices for sexy stars named Chris, we just can't help but keep pining over this one. Look back at Chris's evolution in pictures.
The Details Surrounding Tupac's Death Will Still Send Chills Down Your Spine 21 Years Later
Image Source: Getty / Barry King
It's been 21 years since Tupac Shakur was fatally shot in Las Vegas at age 25, but USA's new limited series, Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G., has sparked renewed interest in the rapper's unsolved murder.
Tupac was one of the biggest rappers of the '90s with hits like "Dear Mama," "California Love," "Ambitionz Az a Ridah," and "All Eyez on Me." On Sept. 7, 1996, Tupac attended Mike Tyson's boxing match at the MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas. While there, he got into a fight with Crip gang member Orlando Anderson, who attempted to steal a necklace from one of Tupac's friends, a rival Blood gang member, at a local mall earlier. After leaving the match, Tupac hopped in a car with Suge Knight, the cofounder of West Coast's Death Row Records, and they headed to a nightclub. Sadly, they never made it there.
On their way over, a white Cadillac pulled up next to Tupac and Suge at a red light and an unidentified man opened fire out of the back window. Tupac was shot four times - twice in the chest, once in the thigh, and once in the arm.

Chris Carroll, a retired sergeant with the Las Vegas Police, was the first officer on the scene and says Tupac's body fell out of the vehicle "like he was leaning against the door" when he gained access inside the car. "I grabbed him with my left arm, and he falls into me," he recalled in an interview with Vegas Seven in 2014. "He's covered with blood, and I immediately notice that the guy's got a ton of gold on - a necklace and other jewelry - and all of the gold is covered in blood . . . I didn't realize that this is Tupac Shakur." Chris also recounted that he tried to get a "dying declaration" from Tupac, but instead, the only words that came out were "F*ck you."
Moments later, Tupac slipped out of consciousness and he was rushed to the hospital. "As soon as he got to the hospital, he went into surgery and was heavily sedated, and I guess he went into a coma and really never came out of that until they took him off life support," Chris revealed. "I talked to the cop who rode in the ambulance with him. He said Tupac never came out of [the coma], and he never said anything at the hospital. There was nothing else." Six days after the shooting, on Sept. 13, Tupac died of internal bleeding.
To this day, nobody has ever been charged for the murder of Tupac Shakur, but the Los Angeles Police Department believes "it was a gang retaliation murder." Tupac had been involved in the '90s East-West Coast rap label feud with Notorious B.I.G, who was murdered six months later. Others believe that Suge might have been involved because Tupac "was trying to leave Death Row and start his own label," though Las Vegas Police Department detective Dan Long disagrees solely because Suge was also a victim. "After Tupac was shot, the next day there were murders all the way back in LA because the Compton Mob Piru (which Suge was a part of) knew that the Southside Compton Crips were involved." The case still remains open.
Is Rick in Danger on The Walking Dead? This Interview Is Freaking Us Out
We've only just gone through another gut-wrenching death on The Walking Dead (miss you already, Carl Grimes), but as we've learned the hard way in the past few seasons, no one is safe in this apocalyptic zombie nightmare. In spite of the fact that this weekend's midseason premiere was largely focused on the death of Rick's son, it ends on a rather ominous note. Ever since the beginning of season eight, we've seen small glimpses of Rick at an unknown time in an unknown place. Now, we know he's leaning against a tree, and he may be seriously injured.
In the wake of Sunday night's episode, actor Andrew Lincoln discussed the moment in question during a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter. Frankly, we were looking for some comfort or assurance that Rick would be just fine, but now all we have are more questions and more worries. In response to the harrowing final shot of the episode, Lincoln said, "I can't really say anything about that, apart from it doesn't look good, does it?" It's a typical cagey answer that's meant to keep things vague, we're aware. But as the interview goes on, you can't help but get the feeling that something big is coming.
As the interview progresses, it really turns into a "the lady doth protest too much" situation, or perhaps more accurately, "the lady doth deflect questions too much." When asked if Rick is gravely injured, perhaps even bitten by a walker in this scene, he says, "That's what it looks like." And when it comes to his future in the show, "I'm not at liberty to say! I don't want to be disingenuous. But, for the sake of these back eight [episodes] . . . I wouldn't want to give too much away because the back eight is interesting and an emotional trajectory for Rick, Michonne, and the family."
I know what you're thinking: none of this really makes it seem like Rick is in danger. But there's something else to take into consideration: creator Robert Kirkman has said that Rick will die at some point in the comic books, which could spell his end on the show. Plus, given the fact that Carl dies on the show in spite of many future storylines in the comics, it means any character could feasibly die at any point. When faced with Rick's harrowing mystery moment and this information, Lincoln admitted, "I was very worried! Especially when we did the makeup test and I said, 'He looks like he's lost quite a bit of blood. Do we want him to be this white?! Can we make him look like he's got a pint of blood in his body?!'"
The bottom line is this: no one is safe on The Walking Dead, now more than ever. Rick is clearly in a tough spot as we move forward into the back half of season eight. We just hope he's got a bit more fight in him to keep going.
16 Facts About Notorious B.I.G.'s Murder That Only Get More Haunting With Time
It's been nearly 21 years since Brooklyn rapper Notorious B.I.G. (whose real name was Christopher Wallace) was gunned down while leaving an industry party in March 1997. He was only 24 years old when he died but has left behind an astonishing legacy that is being carried on by his mother, Voletta Wallace; his wife, Faith Evans; his two kids, T'yanna and Christopher "C.J." Wallace Jr.; and his best friend and collaborator, Sean "Diddy" Combs. Even though the details of his death are terribly tragic, it's perhaps most painful that the case remains unsolved two decades later. Keep reading for 16 facts about Biggie's murder that have only gotten more haunting with time.
Kate Middleton Doesn't Let Her Pregnant Belly Get in the Way of Greeting a Little Girl on Her Level
Kate Middleton was a vision in blue on Tuesday as she visited the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to officially be named its royal patron. She is only the second patron in the RCOG's 89-year history, and her first job was to join a round table discussion on tackling the stigma around women's health and maternal mental health. Professor Lesley Regan, president of the college, also presented Kate with a certificate to celebrate her new role. The duchess, who is expecting her third child in April, was all smiles as she attended the event. Inside, Kate visited the Snow Leopard children's ward at St. Thomas Hospital, where she was presented with flowers by 5-year-old Bella Kedwell-Parsons. The pregnant princess didn't let her growing belly get in the way of kneeling down to thank Bella for her thoughtful gift.
The duchess is particularly devoted to charities and organizations that focus on mental health, especially in children and mothers. As well as this new role, she launched Heads Together with Prince William and Prince Harry, and she is also royal patron of Place2Be and recently filmed a video with them for Children's Mental Health Week. This is clearly a cause that is particularly close to her heart.
A Town Named Wauconda Is Getting Lots of Attention From Black Panther Fans, and LOL
Wakanda may be a fictional East African nation, but there's a town in Illinois that sounds exactly like the Black Panther setting. It's called Wauconda, and it's suddenly getting a lot of attention thanks to fans of the record-breaking film starring Chadwick Boseman. A small village in Lake County, IL, real-life Wauconda is not filled with superheroes and vibranium. But people are having fun with the connection, and Wauconda residents, from barbers to cashiers, are dressing up in Black Panther masks.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alise Homola, the executive assistant to Wauconda's mayor, has been receiving phone calls, and she hasn't seen the film. She said, "Someone called and asked how we pronounced the village name and when I told him, he began yelling, 'Wakanda forever!' which I am guessing is from the film." The whole thing is pretty hilarious, and we're cracking up at all the tweets.
The Spice Girls Are Performing at Prince Harry and Meghan's Wedding, According to Mel B
OK, what is going on with the Spice Girls?! First they're reuniting, then they're not reuniting, then they've signed with their former manager, then they haven't, and now they're performing at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding? Mel B was a guest on The Real on Tuesday, and when talk turned to the will-they-or-won't-they Spice Girls reunion rumors, the singer dropped a bomb: the group will apparently be providing some wedding-day entertainment for the newlyweds.
After admitting that all five of them had been invited to the ceremony, Mel confirmed that they'd be performing. Other possible entertainers could be Ed Sheeran (who has denied that he'll be performing) and Elton John, who recently cleared his schedule for Harry's wedding weekend in May.

Technically, the fab five are familiar with meeting royalty, as they hung out with Prince Charles (and a young Harry) on a few occasions in the late '90s and early 2000s. All we know is that we can't wait for them to perform "Wannabe" in front of the queen.
The Royal Wedding Countdown Is On: Everything We Know About Princess Eugenie's Big Day
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are hearing wedding bells! The couple, who first met while skiing in Switzerland back in 2010, recently made their love official and got engaged in January. From the location to the star-studded guest list, here's everything we know so far about Eugenie and Jack's upcoming royal wedding!
The Date
Eugenie and Jack's big day will take place this Fall on Oct. 12, 2018.
The Location
The couple will exchange "I dos" in front of their family and friends at St. George's Chapel in Windsor, which also happens to be the same venue where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are getting married in May.
The Guest List
Given the fact that a handful of Eugenie's friends are celebrities, it's possible that the royal wedding will be a star-studded affair. Everyone from Ellie Goulding to Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis to the Beckhams will likely be present at the wedding.
The Tiara
It's being reported that Eugenie will reportedly follow in her mother Sarah Ferguson's footsteps and wear the York tiara on her special day. Sarah first sported the tiara when she married Prince Andrew back in 1986.
The Dress
While Eugenie has yet to say "yes" to the dress, during a recent interview with BBC's The One Show with Matt Baker, Eugenie revealed that her dress will not have "meringue shoulders [because] that's a bit unfashionable."
Whoa - This Royal Bridesmaid Is Totally Unrecognizable Now
Image Source: Getty / Mike Marsland
Lady Louise Windsor, or as you probably know her, the adorable bridesmaid who cozied up to Prince Harry at the royal wedding in 2011, is 14! That's right, the daughter of Edward, Earl of Wessex, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, is a teen. Alongside fellow bridesmaids Margarita Armstrong-Jones, Grace Van Cutsem, Eliza Lopes, and page boys Tom Pettifer and William-Lowther Pinkerton, Lady Louise was one of the stars of the big day but is almost unrecognizable today.
The granddaughter of the Queen and Prince Philip was eighth in line of succession for the British throne at the time of her birth, but is now 11th, to be made 12th once the new royal baby arrives. But she certainly isn't letting it bother her; this teen has a diary of carriage driving, royal church services, and horse shows to keep her busy. Ready to feel old?

This Gorgeous, Unreleased Amy Winehouse Song Will Remind You What a Bright Light We Lost
Amy Winehouse's life was tragically cut short in July 2011, and many musicians - including Bruno Mars and Dua Lipa - have paid tribute to the late singer with soulful renditions of her biggest hits. But nobody can do Amy quite like Amy, and on Tuesday, early Amy Winehouse producer and composer Gil Cang released a never-before-heard track from the singer called "My Own Way."
The pop-R&B song was recorded in 2001 (about two years before Amy released her debut studio album Frank) as a demo track to convince record labels to sign her. Cang told Camden New Journal that 17-year-old Amy "walked into the studio wearing a pair of jeans with 'Sinatra Is God' written in black marker across the bum." "Amy came in to see us, opened her mouth, and just blew us all away," he recalled. "We were struck immediately by her talent - it was a real jaw-on-the-floor moment."
Cang hopes that "My Own Way" will be enjoyed by Amy's fans across the globe. "I've had it knocking about for so long," he said. "I found it again last week and thought - I'll put it out there so people could hear it." Take a listen above now, and remember Amy with her best pictures here.
LOL: Ashton Tries to Shove His Tongue Down Mila's Throat After Getting Caught on a Kiss Cam
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis hit up the Staples Center on Monday night to watch the LA Kings take on the Vegas Golden Knights, but what they likely didn't expect was to get caught on the kiss cam. Well, guess what? They did, and things escalated pretty quickly! As soon as the camera panned to the couple in the audience, Mila freaked out and started laughing, while Ashton licked his lips, jokingly rubbed his finger over them, and leaned over and attempted to shove his tongue down Mila's throat. "Ashton tried to shove his tongue down Mila's throat," an onlooker old Us Weekly. "She laughed it off, and the crowd went nuts. They seemed to be having a really great time!"
Fun fact: Mila's first kiss was actually with Ashton on That '70s Show. In an interview with W magazine back in 2014, the actress opened up about it, saying, "My first real kiss ever was with him on the show and when That '70s Show had a prom, my date for the prom turned out to be my fiancé. We can honestly say that we went to prom together!" Check out the hilarious moment above now!
The Queer Eye Soundtrack Is About to Become Your New Going-Out Playlist
Everyone's been glued to the brand new series of Queer Eye on Netflix, and it's easy to see why. While Bobby, Antoni, Karamo, Tan, and Jonathan really have put their own spin on the show, every single episode has turned us into emotional wrecks, making us wondering if, dare we say it, this cast might not be even better than the original. The soundtrack has also been an important part of this emotional roller coaster, and listening to it on repeat might help you cope with the fact that you've already binge-watched the whole season. Ahead, lose yourself in Queer Eye's upbeat soundtrack, which is about to become your new going-out playlist.
7 Infamous Cults That Are Creepy as F*ck
I'll just start by saying that I'm obsessed with cults. Why am I obsessed with cults, you ask? Gosh, I wish I had an answer for you - they've just always fascinated me for some reason, maybe because I can't picture myself giving up everything I have to follow someone blindly. (Except for maybe Beyoncé; is the BeyHive a cult?) With the cult-like government we have here in the States right now, I couldn't help but think about the famous real-life cults that have both intrigued and scared the sh*t out of me over the years. From the ones you probably know, like the Manson Family, to the ones you may not, here are seven sects that are crazy, dangerous, and creepy as f*ck.
The Majestic Women of A Wrinkle in Time Mix and Mingle at the Film's LA Premiere
The stars of A Wrinkle in Time stepped out in style with their kids for the film's LA premiere in Hollywood on Monday night. Reese Witherspoon brought her 18-year-old daughter, Ava Phillippe, as her date for the night, and her Big Little Lies costar Laura Dern did the same with daughter Jaya Harper.
While Mindy Kaling left her newborn daughter, Katherine, at home, she had the support of her longtime friend (and former flame) B.J. Novak. Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo also brought her 8-year-old daughter, Stella, who was all smiles on the red carpet, as was Eva Longoria, who cradled her growing baby bump.
Of course, Oprah Winfrey - who recently said that her character, Mrs. Which, could be "a distant relative of Beyoncé" - was the belle of the ball, mingling inside with Yara Shahidi, Salma Hayek (who brought daughter Valentina), and director Ava DuVernay. We also saw stunning appearances from Storm Reid, Tessa Thompson, Janelle Monaé, and Tracee Ellis Ross, who stole the show with her awesome shoes. Keep reading for all the fun snaps from the night, then be sure to check out the fantastical film when it hits theaters on March 9.
Jimmy Kimmel Tears Up After Ellen DeGeneres Honors His Son With a Beautiful Dedication
Jimmy Kimmel's adorable infant son, Billy Kimmel, became the topic of national conversation when he was born in April 2017 with a congenital heart defect. As he underwent multiple open-heart surgeries, his father delivered a series of powerful monologues on his late-night show about the importance of healthcare reform in America. Now, the Oscar host's close friend Ellen DeGeneres has made sure that Billy's legacy will never be forgotten.
During an appearance on her show on Tuesday, Ellen surprised a teary-eyed Jimmy when she cut to a video feed at the hospital where Billy was treated. "We called our friends at Children's Hospital LA," she said. "We have named one of the rooms of the Heart Institute floor in honor of Billy." Watch the sweet moment unfold above!
Jennifer Lawrence Calls Weinstein a "Horrible Ass Boil" That Needs to Be Popped
If there's one thing we've learned from Jennifer Lawrence, it's that she always tells it like it is. So when the actress dropped by The Late Show on Monday night and was asked about Harvey Weinstein, she did not mince words. "He's just that horrible ass boil that does not go away," Jennifer responded. "You pop the ass boil! He's just the worst."
In a recent legal filing, which was obtained by The Blast, Harvey cited Jennifer, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Meryl Steep in an effort to prove that not every actress he's worked with has had a negative experience. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter back in December, Jennifer said she initially "didn't know that he was a rapist," adding that she "needed a moment to process everything because I thought I knew this guy." See what else Jennifer had to say about Harvey in the video above.
According to Her Instagram, This Is How Jennifer Lopez Maintains Those Insane Abs
Jennifer Lopez might be incredibly busy - she's basically NBC's go-to lady right now, playing an NYPD detective in Shades of Blue, judging contestants on World of Dance, and starring in the network's upcoming musical Bye Bye Birdie Live - but she sure doesn't skip the gym, even if her calendar is bursting with appointments. Sure, it is her job to stay fit, but one look at her Instagram tells us J Lo actually enjoys getting in a good, sweaty workout. This is how the star stays strong and healthy no matter where she is.

Make Your Own: Leather Cleaner
Along with cleaning and organizing your home, keeping your leather furniture in great shape is a must once the weather starts getting warmer. Fresh Spring air and hot Summer sun can cause cracks and dryness in your favorite leather furnishings, which doesn't make for a happy house. Instead of spending money on expensive cleaners and cleansers, make your own with ingredients you have in your kitchen. Free of any chemicals, this eco-friendly cleaner does an awesome job at refreshing all your leather furnishings. And did we mention that it costs basically nothing to make?
What You'll Need:
- Paper towels
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 10 drops lemon or orange essential oil (optional)
- Small bowl
Directions:
- Start by vacuuming your leather furniture, removing any bits of food and dust lurking about. Then gently wipe the leather item with a damp paper towel.
- Mix together the vinegar and olive oil in a small container, whisking to incorporate. The oil and vinegar won't completely come together because the liquids have different densities. The vinegar gently cleans the leather, and the olive oil breaks up dirt and stains while conditioning the furniture. Adding essential oil gives the cleaner a nice scent, which leaves your furnishings smelling fresh.
- Dip a clean paper towel into the homemade cleaner and then gently rub on a small test area of the leather item. Let dry for 20 minutes and check for discoloration before coating furniture. Working in a circular motion, coat the entire piece, rubbing the cleaner into the leather. Use a clean and dry paper towel to gently wipe down the furniture, removing any remaining oil. Now sit back and enjoy your freshly cleaned leather!

Kaia Gerber Dangles Her Legs Over Coco Chanel's Couch For Her First-Ever Chanel Campaign
For some people, chilling on the couch involves a bowl of chips, comfortable sweatpants, and probably a messy bun. For Kaia Gerber though, who posed on Coco Chanel's suede couch for the brand's new Spring 2018 handbag campaign, "lounging" has never been so fabulous. This was Kaia's first-ever Chanel campaign, and Karl Lagerfeld shot her inside the late French designer's glamorous Parisian apartment.
In the photos, the model stretches her legs across the couch and, even at such a young age, embodies the true timelessness of the brand. (In case you forgot, this 16-year-old model has owned the Fashion Week runways and made a 25-year-old adult like myself jealous of every outfit she rocks.) As for Chanel's iconic bags in the campaign, they received an edgy upgrade with colorful designs like embroidered tweed and PVC.

Amal Clooney's Hot-Pink Trousers Make Your Work Pants Look Far Too Ordinary
If ever you needed inspiration for how to reinvent your everyday wardrobe, look to Amal Clooney. The fashion-forward lawyer and activist stepped out in Beverly Hills wearing bright, cozy basics. On paper, each item might seem like loungewear or, at the very least, simplistic - a cute, slouchy tee with buckle straps, velour trousers, and sock booties - but Amal put everything together like a damn street style star.
She played up the bold color palette with a cherry red Givenchy Horizon bag ($1,390), a covetable item by anyone's standards. But it was her velvet pants that took us by surprise. We imagine they felt like pajamas, but Amal truly took them to the next level, further convincing us that your sweats can be elevated. (Just ask Kim Kardashian.) Ahead, catch another glimpse of Amal's look, then shop for similar bottoms to add to your wardrobe.
Emily Ratajkowski's Wedding Ring Is the Type That Matches All Your Other Jewelry
Emily Ratajkowski forwent an over-the-top engagement and married Sebastian Bear-McClard at City Hall in NYC. She chose to wear a marigold Zara suit for the occasion - adorably matching Sebastian - with a black netted hat and heels. Emily wore gold jewelry, including a pendant necklace, and a fistful of rings for her special day. One of those rings, however, was her new wedding band, a thick engraved design that appears simple enough to style with any other accessories.
Sebastian showed off two rings that read "EM" and "RATA," in case you still haven't reached maximum cuteness overload. Clearly, Emily has chosen to keep her bridal trimmings uncomplicated, and we like that a lot. Ahead, you can catch another glimpse of Emily's new bling, then shop similar pieces to add to your collection that, to some, might be even more impressive than a chunky diamond.
