Here's How Long You Should Really Be Holding On to That Pumpkin

Pumpkins are the ultimate Fall decorating accessory. Whether you're adding them to your fireplace mantle, your front porch, or even your Fall tablescape, pumpkins are a sure sign that the season has officially arrived. If you're a purist, only real pumpkins will do when it comes to this Fall motif, and this means your perfect Fall arrangement or jack-o'-lantern can't last forever. But just how long it will last depends on picking the right pumpkin and giving it a little bit of TLC.

Pumpkins on a Vine

If you're growing your own pumpkins, you may be concerned that your pumpkins will grow and ripen weeks before Halloween. First, you should make sure your pumpkins are still growing by measuring them every few days. Once they've stopped growing, they're safe to pick. You can tell if a pumpkin is ripe when it has reached that gorgeous, bright orange color (or other color, depending on the variety) and the skin has hardened.

Pick a Great Pumpkin

If you're heading to the store to pick out your pumpkin early, you need to watch out for a couple of things. Make sure you're choosing a pumpkin that doesn't have any holes or blemishes. These features can help to make your pumpkin even spookier, but they can lead to quicker rotting and even attract pests. You should also avoid pumpkins with soft flesh, as this could mean it has already started to rot.

Wash Your Pumpkin

Once you've picked your pumpkin, they usually last between 30 and 90 days. For the best results, be sure to wash your pumpkin in a mild chlorine solution. This gets rid of any bacteria on the pumpkin's surface. Bacteria can rot your pumpkin prematurely, so this is the most important step before storing your pumpkin.

Keep Your Pumpkin Cool & Dry

Let your pumpkin dry completely after washing it, and be sure to store it in a cool, dry, and dark place if you don't need to use it right away. Heat and humidity will speed up the rotting process, so avoid hot and humid places like your garage. Garage floors should also be avoided because they, too, can speed up the rotting process.

Cure Your Pumpkin

If you're worried about your pumpkin lasting, there is a way to harden the skin even more. The skin acts as a protective layer to your pumpkin, and if it's given a chance to harden further, then it creates an even better seal. While it seems counterintuitive, putting your pumpkin in a sunny window or in a greenhouse (albeit, not a humid one) can help it cure and develop a thicker skin. This can take up to a month, so it's more of a long-term solution if you really want to stretch out your pumpkin's life.

Carving vs. Painting

As we mentioned above, the skin of the pumpkin acts as a barrier to bacteria, and as soon as that barrier is broken, you risk quicker rotting. Unfortunately, carved pumpkins will only last about two weeks if they have adequate air circulation. The bigger the holes in the carving, the longer it will last. Otherwise, your pumpkin could rot within one week. If you want your pumpkins to last longer, consider decorating them with paint or other no-carve techniques. In combination with the above tips, your pumpkin could last all Fall!

ColourPop Is Launching 8 New Blushes That Feel "Like a Pillow"

ColourPop has been launching products like it's going out of style all September long, and the cult brand shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. On Tuesday, Sept. 27, ColourPop's Instagram treated us to a sweet early-week surprise: the brand will release Pressed Powder Blushes and liquid lipsticks.

Details on this launch are scarce, but we were able to garner some information via Instagram stories. According to Sharon Pak, ColourPop's Marketing Manager and frequent beauty swatch-er, the formulas are "buttery" and feel like "a pillow." The blush doesn't have a groove, like the Super Shock ($8) ones do.

But from the look of Pak's swatches, the new offerings have the same intense, pigmented payoff as Super Shock and seem to blend like a dream onto Pak's fingers. Take a gander at this makeup magic for yourself, why don't you?

ColourPop purists will be happy to note that these bright shades are in line with exactly what the brand is known and loved for. If you're not really feeling Fall, wearing such Summery shades might be the best way to protest as the temperature decreases.

Along with those blushes, be sure to keep an eye out for the liquid lipstick Pak also took time to swatch on Instagram. It's apparently coming out "Fall 2017," which is right now, so bold new ColourPop lippies are in your very near future.

We've reached out to the brand for more details, and, as always, will keep you informed of what we learn. Until then, you can hold yourself over with swatches of the popping lipstick.

If You Overuse These Beauty Products, It Could Actually Be Hazardous to Your Health

When it comes to our favorite products, it can be easy to OD (hello, dry shampoo!), but can there ever be such a thing as too much when it comes to your favorite beauty formulas? According to experts, the answer is a big scary "yes!"

The pros we spoke to caution that some of our most beloved cosmetic, hair, and skin saviors actually have the potential to do more harm than good, with results ranging from hair loss to serious skin conditions.

Before you reach for your favorite lip balm or primer (there's also a reason we mentioned dry shampoo!), read on to see whether you're using anything on their "less is more" lists and to figure out exactly how much and how often you should be tapping them in order to reap the benefits without the havoc.

11 Halloween Makeup Looks That Will Make You Scream, "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!"

When it comes to Halloween films, it doesn't get much more classic than Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. The whole movie - which stars Hollywood favorites Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Alec Baldwin, and Geena Davis - is riddled with eerie-meets-hilarious characters that are perfect for inspired Halloween costumes.

There's Beetlejuice himself, a sleazy ghost in an awful (but now iconic) black and white suit and wiry green hair; Lydia Deetz, a gothic, witch-child who dabbles in photography; the not-aware-they're-dead couple who undergo numerous costume changes that would be a hit at your own Halloween party; and the medley of misfit patients in the infamous doctor's office scene. Which one will you be for Halloween? Get some inspiration with these looks!

Summer is nearly gone, which means you should be spending much more time sipping margaritas on lawn chairs and much less time scrubbing dishes in the kitchen. These recipes take advantage of colorfully delicious Summer produce - and the best part is you'll only have one pot to wash after making them.

Follow This Trainer's Warmup and You'll Have the Best Run of Your Life

The warmup and cooldown are the easiest parts to skip when it comes to our workouts. We justify to ourselves that they don't matter nearly as much as the actual workout does - but that couldn't be further from the truth, especially when it comes to running.

"To most people [running] just seems like that thing you do when you don't know what else to do, or the basic form of 'cardio' exercise that just seems boring and mindless," Michael Olzinski, MS, Purplepatch endurance coach and Equinox run coach, told POPSUGAR. "I believe that running is possibly the single most underestimated form of exercise as far as the degree of difficulty, complexity, and demands that it places on your body."

Naturally, a physical activity that takes that much effort requires a comprehensive warmup. Not only will it help you perform better, but "a proper warm up can leave you feeling loose and relaxed," according to Mike. "It can improve the form and technique that you run in for your workout. It dramatically reduces the risk of injury for the session and over time," he continued. "It also can help improve your athletic sense of coordination." Those are all things we want more of, please.

So what makes a good warmup? First of all, forget static stretches. Mike breaks your warmup down to three categories:

Active Range of Motion Exercise

"Hip swings, arm circles, lunges, deep squats, or V-ups are great examples," Mike told POPSUGAR. These movements will warm up all the major muscle groups that you'll call upon during your run. Mike said you also want to touch on all the major joints of your body - shoulders, torso, hips, knees, and ankles - because you use all of these when you're running.

Core Balance and Activation

Think plank, side plank, push-ups, dead bugs, and Downward to Upward Facing Dog. These basic movements "are great ways to get the spine and pelvis stabilized to run," Mike explained.

Running Specific Dynamic Exercises

Finally, these exercises will get "your heart rate ready to train and get your body prepped for a good workout." These movements are things you're probably more than familiar with: jumping jacks, high-knee drills, jump rope, and burpees.

Taking all of that info, let's get into what your warmup should actually look like from start to finish. It doesn't have to take a long time, but you should really invest these 10-15 minutes to getting your body nice and supple. You'll be much happier with your results, whether you're trying to shed a few pounds or improve your time.

We've included nine exercises in total below, three for each category Mike laid out. Go through this whole thing from start to finish, and you'll become the running champion of your dreams.

37 Things Toddlers Say to Avoid Going to Sleep

Putting a toddler to sleep is like running a covert secret mission for the FBI (OK, maybe not, but it sure seems that way, am I right?). If you're a parent, your child likely finds an excuse or two every single night as to why they can't possibly go to bed, and though it's frustrating to spend so much extra time convincing them to close their eyes and go to sleep, their excuses are usually hilarious.

Read through for 37 things a toddler might say to avoid going to sleep.

  29. The tag in their PJs - that you cut out when they tried this excuse last night - is itchy.
  30. They want to know where babies come from.
  31. They want to try to go poop even though they managed to go three separate times throughout the day.
  32. They're upset that it's dark, so they ask for the light in the hallway on.
  33. The light hurts their eyes.

  35. They want one more hug.
  36. And another kiss. Or three.
  37. They need to tell you they love you again . . . and again and again and again.

My Period Completely Changed When I Went Vegan - Here's How

My periods have never treated me well. While many of my friends were able to function normally on the first day or two of their menstrual cycle, I was usually curled up in bed in the fetal position clutching a heating pad and cursing the world for making me a woman.

Not only were my cramps incredibly painful, but I also struggled with intense mood swings the few days before my period started. I would get into uncharacteristic fights with my boyfriend and friends, and I wanted to do nothing more than hole up in my room and block the world out. Each month was a terribly isolating experience, and I began to wonder if I suffered from some sort of disorder that was outside the scope of PMS.

I initially decided to go vegan for reasons that had nothing to do with my period. I gave up all animal products for environmental and ethical reasons, but I had heard from a few different people that adopting a plant-based diet would ease many of my menstrual woes. I was skeptical, to say the least.

After eating a strict plant-based diet for three months, though, I was shocked to see significant changes in my cycle. I was much less moody, less anxious, and less prone to crying for no reason. My cramps were minimal and my flow was much lighter.

Jennifer Wider, MD, nationally renowned women's health expert, told POPSUGAR that this isn't uncommon. Although there aren't many studies out there confirming this to be true, a plant-based diet is known to have a positive effect on menstruation. "Many women who adopt a plant-based diet have touted the benefits when it comes to their monthly cycles," Dr. Wider told POPSUGAR. "[They] describe lighter periods, less PMS symptoms including, mood swings, cramps, and even bloating."

Fast forward to another six months of being vegan, and I got to the point where, if I wasn't keeping track of my cycle, I didn't even know my period was coming until it surprisingly showed up. There were no warning signs - no debilitating cramps, no strange cravings, and no rage. And I would only bleed for two days, which was a huge improvement from my previous heavy six-day cycles.

Julieanna Hever, plant-based dietitian and health expert, said although there isn't much primary scientific data on this topic, she has heard dozens of anecdotal stories like this before, and she herself has experienced a significant improvement in her menstrual cycle when she changed her diet. "Plant-based diets are anti-inflammatory," she told POPSUGAR.

Dr. Wider agreed. "One of the reasons a plant-based diet may ease symptoms associated with the menstrual cycle is due to its anti-inflammatory effects," she told POPSUGAR. "Many women take non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like Aleve, Motrin, and Advil while they have their periods to lessen the cramps, etc. A plant-based diet has may work in the same way."

"I think it's always important to consult your doctor before making any major switch," Dr. Wider advises. You may run the risk for suffering from low iron levels or even anemia. You can get a simple blood test from your doctor to see if you need to take a supplement after you make the dietary changes.

I've been vegan for quite a while now, and my period is so much easier to handle. It shows up on time every month and causes me little to no pain. I'm no longer moody or irritable. Rather than stopping me from going about my day-to-day life, my period comes and goes without much of a fuss. There's not a doubt in my mind that this is due to my plant-based diet.

If You Get Asked to Send "Nudes," Do What This Brilliant Makeup-Lover Did

If you are a woman on the internet, you've likely been on the receiving end of a few unsolicited propositions. Random men slide into your DMs wanting to "get to know you more" or, even worse, asking you to "send nudes." Nicole Moses, a university student in Cape Town, South Africa, knows this experience all too well. She came up with the most clever response by using beauty products.

She posted her latest exchange on the Beauty Book closed Facebook group. When someone messaged her on Facebook asking her for photos of lingerie, she responded with an image of NYX's lingerie collection. You'd think he got the message, but he kept going.

"Lol I meant like nudes," the guy responded. So, Nicole sent a photo of Maybelline's The Nudes eyeshadow palette. When the desperate creep then requested "naked???" she sent Urban Decay's Naked palette. Brilliant.

"It was a completely random request, I was just checking my messages last night and saw this one, and as someone who has had up [to] here with random guys asking for nudes, I decided to have a little fun with this one," she told POPSUGAR. "After I sent him the Naked palette, he blocked me! 😂 Well, can't say I didn't give him what he asked for."

She continued, "I'd urge every woman to show these losers that we don't take their crap anymore." So, next time you find yourself in this unfortunate position, definitely take a cue from Nicole, and use that makeup knowledge to your advantage. It'll ward off gross internet randos and, at the very least, guarantee you a good laugh.

Mike Pence Has a Bunny Named Marlon Bundo and It's Really F*cking Cute

President Donald Trump's White House may contain plenty of divisive figures, but one exceptionally fluffy member remains above the political fray: Marlon Bundo, Vice President Mike Pence's rabbit. Named after actor Marlon Brando, the beloved black-and-white bunny clearly takes his BOTUS (Bunny of the United States, of course) duties seriously. He's been spotted spending time with children of military families and has even become the first-ever bunny to ride on Air Force Two. Most importantly, he is extremely cute.

So, if you're looking for some-bunny (sorry) to restore your faith in paw-litics (last one!), look no further than White House resident Marlon Bundo. Without further ado: the cutest snaps of our official BOTUS.

4 "Rules" For a Husband's Friendships With Other Women

Krista J.'s husband is hanging out with another woman. Is that wrong? "He told me they are just friends, but he has been leaving me to go hang out with her," she frets.

As readers offer Krista advice, another question emerges: can married men have female friends? Ideally, they say, the members of a couple should be able to maintain individual friendships with the opposite sex, but in reality, a friendship like the one Krista's husband is developing is often a slippery slope.

Friendship can lead to flirtation, and what once seemed harmless can grow and grow. So how do you prevent this? Here, readers share some ground rules for a spouse's opposite-sex friendships.

1. Make sure there's no double standard.

"If he can, I can," is the guideline many members live by. But when Carol M. proposes this approach to her husband, his response was the very definition of the double standard and one that many members feel spells trouble: that while it's OK for a husband to talk to women, it's taboo for a woman to have friendships with men. "No guy is just a friend," he insists.

In contrast, Jill says that, in her marriage, both she and her husband have friends of the opposite sex. "The rule in our marriage is what is good enough for you is good enough for me," she says. "If he wants to talk to girls. Fine. I get to talk to guys. It works both ways."

2. Agree on appropriate boundaries.

Makena D. feels that "interaction between people of different sexes even after marriage is part of life," and that because male/female friendships outside of marriage are inevitable, a wife should not only "limit the kind of talk [she has] with other men," but let her husband know that "he needs to do the same."

Explaining further, she shares that "your partner comes first."

3. Give (and expect) the benefit of the doubt.

Many readers feel comfortable with their husbands' female friendships because they trust each other completely. "There is no way I would tell my husband who he can and can't talk to and vice versa," says Michelle W. "I've even met up with an old school friend (male) for coffee. My husband trusts me completely, and I trust him."

Megan R. agrees, sharing that she has no problem with her husband's female friend. "One of my husband's closest friends is a woman," she says. "I also have some guy friends, and my husband knows about them. I trust my husband enough to know he won't cheat on me."

4. Include one another in the friendship.

Many readers believe that if your husband wants to cultivate a friendship with a woman, whether a colleague or someone from his past, he should invite you and the woman's spouse (if she has one) to dinner or into the circle of friendship, too. This kind of transparency makes everyone more comfortable.

When It's More Than "Just Friends"

All of this said, some members simply won't abide a spouse's opposite sex friendships, no matter what. Tabitha R. points out that it's very difficult to watch your spouse have female friendships if he has a history of cheating: "I honestly think once someone has cheated that we lose respect for that person, and it makes us think that every woman they are talking to they are sleeping with."

Lisa P. agrees, but for different reasons: "I don't think a married man should be hanging out with another girl or woman even if they are supposedly 'just friends.' He should be home with his family. If his priorities are elsewhere and not with you and your family, then you should be questioning the marriage."

Where do you draw the line on your husband's female friendships?

Milk Makeup's New "Space Jam" Palette Will Give You a Holographic Glow

Remember Space Jam? The 1996 basketball movie starring Michael Jordan (and some Looney Tunes) is forever a childhood favorite. That's why we were already fans of Milk Makeup's new highlighter quad named after the film before we even got our hands on it. Then, we tested out the shimmery powders ourselves and confirmed what we already guessed: it's a slam dunk.

The Holographic Powder Quad ($49), available at Sephora, is new for the holidays. It features Mars, a golden peach shade already available in stick form, along with three new pearlescent colors: icy blue, frosted pink, and snow white. The formula is buttery soft thanks to a talc-free combination of moisturizing avocado oil, coconut oil, and mango butter. Plus, the creamy, easy-to-blend texture also gives major pigment in just one swipe.

The cool shades are definitely not for the subtle, but we could see the powders being used for eye shadow too if blue cheekbones aren't your thing. Best of all, the highlighters are formulated with actual meteorite powder, so we literally mean it when we say it's out of this world.

Before Playing Jack Pearson, Milo Ventimiglia Was Fergie's Music Video Boyfriend

Milo Ventimiglia has had some iconic roles over the years: Jess Mariano on Gilmore Girls, Peter Petrelli on Heroes, and now Jack Pearson on This Is Us. One of his most underrated appearances, though, definitely has to be when he played Fergie's love interest in her "Big Girls Don't Cry" music video. In 2006, Ventimiglia took a walk on the wild side when he played the singer's tattooed, often shirtless boyfriend.

While Fergie definitely isn't afraid to show off her sexy side, she admitted she was "totally nervous" about making out with the actor. Honestly, do you blame her? "I just had to tell him, like, 'Please help me with this,'" she told Entertainment Tonight about filming the steamy scenes for the video. "He was so great." We can only imagine. Relive his gorgeous cameo above.

The 17 Best Documentaries Streaming on Netflix in 2017

Documentaries play an important role in film, shedding light on important social issues, grave injustices, or even feel-good stories about making the world better - which is wonderful, because we all need some uplifting stories to go with the hard-hitting subject matter that comprises most documentaries. Ranging in topics like true crime, the food industry, marijuana laws, and sexual assault, here are the 17 best documentaries available on Netflix in 2017.

28 Times Outlander's Claire and Jamie Gave Us Unrealistic Relationship Goals

As soon as Outlander's first season premiered in 2014, it became abundantly obvious that the show had something special. In addition to a remarkably talented cast, plenty of "we're not afraid to go there" storylines, and scandalously quotable dialogue, the heart of the time-traveling romance is the intense love between its main characters, Claire and Jamie. Their sexy relationship has been a nonstop emotional rollercoaster from the minute Claire arrived in the Scottish Highlands, all the way to their current separation in season three. With their reunion impending, let's reflect on all of their steamy sex scenes, tender kisses, and loving glances, prepare yourself: it's about to get hot.

Sarah Jessica Parker Has Some Bad News About Sex and the City 3: "It's Over"

The potential for any more Sex and the City movies is over - for real this time. After initial reports that a third film was underway, Sarah Jessica Parker put an end to all the speculation when she straight-up confirmed it's not happening while attending the New York City Ballet Gala. "It's over. We're not doing it," Parker definitively said during a red carpet interview with Extra, before being asked if she was disappointed that there wouldn't be a third installment. "Absolutely, I'm disappointed. We had this beautiful, funny, heartbreaking, joyful, very relatable script and story."

Hold up - so the third film was already written and ready to go? Can't they at least just publish the script somewhere? Like, literally anywhere - Tumblr perhaps?

Parker further added that the reason she's so upset is all because of the show's dedicated fans. "It's not just disappointing that we don't get to tell the story and have that experience," she explained. "But more so for that audience that has been so vocal about wanting a third movie."

It was rumored that the third installment was canceled due to Kim Cattrall's unreasonable demands. Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones, responded to the allegations on Twitter, stating that she had been opposed to doing a third film since 2016. It sounds like it's really time for us all to let this one go, especially after that questionable sequel, which we'll just continue to ignore . . .

This Is How All Your Favorite Chefs Make Chili

On a cozy Fall night when staying in sounds like a good idea, there's almost nothing more comforting than a big pot of homemade chili. And if your memories of chili involve little more than underseasoned ground beef and beans, these chefs' recipes are here to help you make an upgrade. Whether you prefer chicken instead of beef, a casserole to feed a crowd, or a classic take on the meal, these popular recipes from Ree Drummond, Alton Brown, Giada De Laurentiis, and more of your favorite food stars have you covered. Pass the sour cream, and make one of these the next time you're craving a hearty serving of comfort food.

Ree Drummond: Stick to the Classics

Ree Drummond's chili recipe is called "simple, perfect chili" for a reason. She has a no-fuss approach and simmers ground beef, canned tomato sauce, canned beans, and plenty of spices like cumin, chili powder, and cayenne pepper to kick the flavor up a notch. She serves the back-to-basics, comforting bowls of beef chili with shredded cheddar, chopped onions, tortilla chips, and lime wedges.

Ina Garten: Swap Beef For Chicken

If you don't eat beef, opt for Ina Garten's chicken chili recipe. Ina uses bone-in, skin-on chicken breasts instead of boneless, skinless breasts to ensure more flavor and moisture in the meat. While the base for the chili (which includes red and green bell peppers, garlic, red pepper flakes, canned tomatoes, and basil) simmers on the stove, roast the chicken in the oven until it's cooked and can be cut off the bone and added into the pot to marry with all the other flavors.

Trisha Yearwood: Casserole-ify It

Casseroles are always a good idea when feeding a group, and Trisha Yearwood's cornbread chili casserole is the ultimate Fall comfort food for a dinner party. The salsa-infused beef chili is layered in a baking dish, topped with a crumbly cornbread mixture, and baked in the oven until it's golden brown. Each warm serving is topped with a big dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.

Giada De Laurentiis: Use Ground Turkey and Quinoa

Giada De Laurentiis's California turkey chili calls for a few ingredients you wouldn't expect, including a quinoa pine nut pilaf. With a lightened-up California twist, the chili is packed with ground turkey, white beans, and poblano chiles, and is served on top of a bed of the quick quinoa pilaf made with chicken broth, parsley, and pine nuts. It's an unexpected combo when it comes to chili, but it totally works. The pine nuts add crunch to the soft chili, and the whole-grain quinoa adds hearty nuttiness.

Alton Brown: Pull Out the Pressure Cooker

You'll want to dust off your pressure cooker or Instant Pot for Alton Brown's pressure cooker chili, which comes together in less than an hour. It's no surprise that Alton's recipe has a few unique twists, like using a combination of beef, pork, and/or lamb, and pouring a beer into the pressure cooker to deglaze the bottom after browning the meat. With salsa, chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, and tortilla chips cooked right in the pot, the chili has a wonderfully smoky, Tex-Mex taste.

Chrissy Teigen: Eat It With Fritos

Leave it to Chrissy Teigen to come up with the easiest, least glamorous, most tasty sounding chili recipe of all: a "Frito pie bar" with chili eaten straight out of the chip bags. Her foolproof recipe can be found on page 148 of her cookbook, Cravings, and after one look at the messy, chili-stuffed Frito bags topped with sour cream, cheese, jalapeños, and guacamole, and you're going to want to make this ASAP. The chili recipe is technically John's, and it makes a big enough batch to freeze leftovers for later. The secret ingredient, as usual when it comes to Chrissy's and John's recipes, is Lawry's seasoned salt.

15 Reactions to the Hilarious and Heartwarming Will & Grace Premiere

Eleven years after the series finale, Will & Grace returned to our lives on Thursday night with the premiere of the highly anticipated reboot. We were brought right back to Will and Grace's NYC apartment and treated to Karen's hilarious one-liners and Jack's signature attitude. The chemistry between the main four picked up right where it left off, and they also addressed the unpopular 2006 series finale (spoiler: Karen dreamed it all). While most people were excited to have the iconic TV show back in their living rooms, others weren't happy about the strong political messages in the premiere.

Will & Grace, which was a groundbreaking show during its first run due to its main gay characters and unfiltered jokes, got the green light for the reboot due to politics. After reuniting last year in an ad that encouraged people to vote in the 2016 presidential election, the overwhelming response inspired NBC to bring it back for good. One of the show's creators, David Kohan, told Variety that they want to continue to advocate for gay rights with the reboot, saying, "[The characters] have their opinions and their attitudes, their judgments of what's going on in the world. They're going to definitely say things. I think that's been one of the hallmarks of the show."

See the best reactions from the premiere below.

But there were also a few people who weren't feeling it:

We Finally Know Who Is Behind Each of the Clown Masks on American Horror Story: Cult

Along with scaring the crap out of viewers every week, American Horror Story: Cult is also presenting a fun little puzzle for its fans: which characters are donning the clown suits every week and committing heinous acts of terror and murder around town? After the latest episode, titled "11/9," we think we have some pretty solid guesses as to who makes up this roving band of killer Bozos, so read on to see if you agree with our assessment. And take heart - there are still several clowns we have yet to meet.

Why You Should Wash Your Leggings After Every Single Workout

Doing laundry sucks, especially if you work out. If you're like us, your leggings, sports bras, and sweat-wicking tops far outnumber anything else in your life that needs cleaning (or anything in your life, tbh). The idea of washing a mountain of activewear may inspire you to wear the same leggings once, twice, maybe even three (!!!) times in a row. Don't, just don't. For the love of your fellow classmates and the health of your vagina, just back away from the idea of wearing yesterday's Spin leggings in today's yoga class.

We get it, leggings can seem deceptively clean the next day. They dry quickly, often without odor, and if the leggings are black, it can seem like they were never worn at all. Don't let this magic fool you. They may look clean, they may even feel clean, but they are definitely not clean - in fact, they are teeming with bacteria leftover from your previous sweat session. When you decide to recycle, reuse, and abuse those same pair of pants in a second workout, the heat and sweat from your body is going to give second life to that bacteria in a very disgusting way. If you've ever been in a class and smelled a disgusting, foul stench, you know what I'm talking about here: that is the smell of someone who thought it was OK to wear those workout clothes one more time.

Beyond a nasty stench, wearing unwashed leggings isn't great for the health of your vulva. If you wear your leggings without underwear, like a lot of us do, you're now exposing your nether regions to day-old sweat and bacteria, which can lead to uncomfortable conditions like vaginitis and yeast infections. No one wants to be itchy vagina in class, especially when clipped into a Spin bike.

If we still haven't convinced you of this one-time-wear rule, consider how much you spend on your gear. Leggings are definitely not cheap, and the best way to make them last - and keep all of their technical properties - is to care for them in the right way. Don't let sweat and bacteria build up from not washing them - this can break down the material and in some cases bring on mold. While it's insane to think you can wash you gear immediately after a workout, we recommend rinsing your clothing out with water, allowing it to air dry before you throw it in your hamper, or putting it in a bag and tossing it in the freezer. All of these methods will help kill the bacteria and calm down foul odors until your next wash.

13 Snacks to Always Have in Your Kitchen When You're on Weight Watchers

I'm a big snacker. Because I'm always busy, I'm constantly reaching for a quick bite from my fridge or pantry to tide me over until I can throw a meal together. Because of this, I feel like my kitchen is pretty well stocked with snacks that are Weight Watchers friendly.

Of course, grabbing fruits and vegetables - which are 0 Smart Points - is the best option, but sometimes you just want something salty from the pantry, like popcorn or some pretzels. The key to smart snacking, though, is being extra careful with how much you're eating. Preportioned snacks are your friends when you're on Weight Watchers! But don't be afraid to eat your sweets when you want them, even if they aren't portioned out already. You just have to measure and be aware.

Scroll through to see the 13 snacks I always have on hand and exactly how many Smart Points are in a serving. Even if you aren't on Weight Watchers, these are some great options - just remember to check out the nutrition info and make sure it fits into whatever plan you keep (counting calories, tracking micronutrients, etc.).

3 Common Signs of ADD/ADHD

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common chronic conditions affecting children. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, four to 12 percent of school-age children have ADHD, with boys being diagnosed three times more often than girls. Because signs of ADHD overlap with typical early childhood behaviors, the condition often becomes most apparent once a child begins preschool or elementary school. To help you figure out whether your child should be evaluated for ADHD by an expert, we've summarized the condition's three common signs.

1. Inattention

Inattention is one of the main signs of ADHD in children. As Stephanie H. shares of her son who was diagnosed with ADHD: "He couldn't concentrate on anything; it seemed his mind was just jumping around from one thing to another." The following detailed list of behaviors that may indicate inattention caused by ADHD is offered by HelpGuide.org.

  • Doesn't pay attention to details
  • Makes careless mistakes
  • Has trouble staying focused; is easily distracted
  • Appears not to listen when spoken to
  • Has difficulty remembering things and following instructions
  • Has trouble staying organized, planning ahead, and finishing projects
  • Gets bored with a task before it's completed
  • Frequently loses or misplaces homework, books, toys, or other items

2. Hyperactivity

"Does [your child] have excessive motor activity and cannot sit still and squirms and is always running and climbing?" As early childhood educator Erin R. relays, hyperactivity is another typical sign that a child has ADHD. HelpGuide.org lists the following behaviors as potential signs of ADHD-related hyperactivity:

  • Constantly fidgets and squirms
  • Often leaves his or her seat in situations where sitting quietly is expected
  • Moves around constantly; often runs or climbs inappropriately
  • Talks excessively
  • Has difficulty playing quietly or relaxing
  • Is always "on the go," as if driven by a motor
  • May have a quick temper or a "short fuse"

Notably, not all children with ADD/ADHD are hyperactive; ADD/ADHD children who are inattentive but not hyperactive may instead seem to be unmotivated and constantly spacing out.

3. Impulsivity

"Many children with ADHD are very impulsive," explains Aundrea A. According to HelpGuide.org, the following behaviors are all signs of impulsivity that could be caused by ADHD.

  • Blurts out answers in class without waiting to be called on or hear the whole question
  • Can't wait for his or her turn in line or in games
  • Says the wrong thing at the wrong time
  • Often interrupts others
  • Intrudes on other people's conversations or games
  • Inability to keep powerful emotions in check, resulting in angry outbursts or temper tantrums
  • Guesses, rather than taking time to solve a problem

Lorde's Cover of This Iconic '80s Song Will Give You Goosebumps All Over Your Body

The earth is round, the sky is blue, and everything Lorde touches turns to musical gold. It's a fact, OK? The "Homemade Dynamite" singer (and dancer) stopped by BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge" on Thursday morning to promote her latest album, Melodrama, where she busted out a cover of Phil Collins's 1981 hit "In the Air Tonight." She gives it that haunting spin that only she can pull off, resulting in a gorgeous reimagining of the classic. She's sure been on a roll with stunning covers lately, huh? Because she's a benevolent musical goddess, she also performed a stripped-down version of her single "Green Light," which you can watch below.

What I Wish People Understood About My Choice to Wear the Hijab

Eight months ago, I woke up one day and decided to start wearing the hijab. I understood that the decision would inevitably affect almost every aspect of my life - but I didn't care. I told my family that I was "just practicing," but in the back of my mind, I knew I would not be taking it off. I was making natural-hair videos on my YouTube channel at the time of my decision, so my choice came as a shock to many of the people who watch me. But it is a choice that I have never once regretted. Wearing the hijab and committing to the lifestyle that goes along with it is something I've always wanted for myself but never imagined it coming so soon.

At 21, wearing the hijab was a huge step I took entirely for myself, but one I had to mindfully maneuver in front of the entire world.

It's different when you live in the Western world. People stare, stores don't cater to modest dressing, and I constantly have to explain that, no, I don't shower with the scarf on my head. It means being persistent and strong in my beliefs. I shouldn't have to go out of my way to make you feel comfortable that I'm not a terrorist. Islam literally means peace, but TV shows, movies, and even news coverage rarely show that, hence why these stereotypes are created. At 21, wearing the hijab was a huge step I took entirely for myself, but one I had to mindfully maneuver in front of the entire world.

I made this choice just after the presidential election, which hit me hard. Though it was a change I'd been thinking of making for some time, Donald Trump's victory was just the push I needed. It was a conscious choice to combat the hateful rhetoric of Trump and anti-Muslim sentiment. I would hear stories of young women taking off the hijab out of fear every day. We hear the hate-crime stories and, unfortunately, hijabi women are common victims. And while I'm proud to wear the hijab, I've noticed the way it changes how some people view me and treat me. Just a couple weeks ago, I was told to take off my hijab by LaGuardia airport security. It was hard not to wonder if the question was asked out of ignorance or if this woman was abusing her power because she finally felt she could.

For me, wearing the hijab has been the most liberating experience. It is a reminder every single moment that I am a Muslim and that my actions should reflect that. It's changed the way I speak and interact with people. I've learned more about myself in the past few months than I have in my entire life. It feels crazy to say, but it's really put things in perspective and helped me to realize what is actually important to me. I fall more in love with myself as I fall more in love with the hijab. It's the greatest feeling when women come to me for advice or tell me how I've inspired them to start wearing the hijab. Or even women who've been wearing the hijab for years telling me that they're excited all over again - it's the greatest reward.

By wearing the hijab, I reject your ability to objectify, sexualize, or body shame me.

That's why representation is needed now more than ever. There need to be more Muslim women in the public eye. Take model Halima Aden, for instance: her success has influenced young Muslims across the world while also showing the public an accurate, positive depiction of a Muslim woman. Not to explain how the hijab is not a form of oppression, but to show it. If people took the time to understand that the hijab is not just a headscarf but really learned about the values and philosophy behind it, there wouldn't be such a divide. By wearing the hijab, I reject your ability to objectify, sexualize, or body shame me; I reject the pressures of society telling me I need plastic surgery or Botox. Rather, see me for my ideas, my character, what's inside my brain. Aden told Allure: "I have much more to offer than my physical appearance, and a hijab protects me against 'You're too skinny, You're too thick, Look at her hips, Look at her thigh gap.' I don't have to worry about that. Society puts so much pressure on girls to look a certain way." Halima depicts perfectly how most hijabis feel: that their hijab is simply an extension of their beliefs, strength, and grace as a Muslim woman.

Though representation is extremely important to me, and I'm proud to wear the hijab, I don't want to be solely defined as a "hijabi vlogger." "Hijabi" is not the first word I would use to describe myself, therefore it's not how I'd like to be defined. I recently sat down with a few other bloggers who felt the same as me. Some felt as though it's important to have the word "hijabi" in the title of their YouTube channels, blogs, or Instagram accounts. Others, like me, felt it extremely unnecessary. While I respect and celebrate other women who do choose to make their hijabi identity a key part of their videos, for me, it feels as though I'm being placed in a totally different category when the "hijabi" title comes up. The reality is that we're normal people who love what we do and want to share our passion with our audiences.

It's a huge step for hijabis to be noticed and celebrated in the media, and I'm both proud and honored to be witnessing this progress. But, please, remember that the hijab does not define us. I'm more than willing to shed light on why I wear the hijab to anyone who asks with genuine respect. A question I am always asked is, "What is it like to wear the hijab in the US?," and I'm always tempted to respond with something like, "How does it feel to brush your teeth in the morning?" You don't think twice about it. It's a part of my routine like it is a part of me. I can't speak for everyone, but the hijab has quickly become second nature to me, and I can't imagine leaving my home without it.

Pickle Juice Soda Is Here and It's "a Really Big Dill"

It's 2017 and we're no stranger to an interesting food hybrid, but the latest carbonated mashup has us seriously intrigued. Pickle Juice Soda comes from Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop, a chain of candy stores in Pennsylvania and Ohio, and it's bringing out a lot of polarized emotions.

The store announced the news of the soda on its Facebook page, writing, "If you're the kind of pickle lover who relishes in all things pickled, this is gonna be a really big dill." According to the website, the soda is made with pure cane sugar and is sold at Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop for $2.50. But if you're in need of some pickled pop and do not live in the area, you can purchase a bottle online for $10, or splurge on a three-pack for $20 or a six-pack for $30.

Confused? Curious? Taste buds tingling? You are not alone. Twitter users also have plenty of thoughts about pickle juice soda. Check out some of the mixed reactions below.

3 Ways to Remove Even the Most Stubborn Temporary Tattoos

Temporary tattoos were fun as kids, and they're still fun as adults. There's just no fighting it. Going to a music festival? Those metallic press-ons can really complete your free-spirited look. Heading to the beach? Henna always seems to be close by. Need to express your creative side? Temp tats to the rescue. The one major downfall: they can be a royal pain to remove.

"Tattoos with certain coloring dyes may be harder to remove [than others]," says Michele Farber, an MD at Schweiger Dermatology Group in NYC. Luckily, she also has a few pointers to make it easier. But they do come with a warning.

When applying the tattoos, proceed with caution if you have sensitive skin. No matter how whimsical your temporary ink may look, it can also cause an allergic reaction. "The most common culprit is paraphenylenediamine," she Farber. It can be found in various types of temporary tattoos (commonly in henna) and even in hair dye.

But if you're already in a pickle and just need to remove it already, always start simple.

  1. Soak it: "Using a warm wash cloth or soaking [the area] with a warm cotton ball can help lift pigment," explains Farber. You could also take this as a prime opportunity to light some candles, grab a book, and take a long bubble bath. Could be worse, right?
  2. Break out the baby oil: If you're still having trouble, she advises to try wiping it away with baby oil. It can act as a makeup remover so it only makes sense that it can also remove temporary tattoos. The only caveat? Be careful not to overuse or over apply because it can clog pores, which could lead to a whole other slew of skin issues.
  3. Rubbing alcohol to the rescue: Farber says rubbing alcohol or acetone can also do the trick. However, if you are having a reaction or have sensitive skin, it could only irritate your skin further. Only escalate to that level if your tat still hasn't kicked its stubborn 'tude.

Happy tatting, and here's to never having to scrub your skin until it's beet red again.

These Hidden Tattoos Ideas Will Satisfy Your Craving For New Ink

Even if your body is a tattooed wonderland already, there's something fresh and rebellious about getting new ink in a hidden place. Either way, hidden tattoos are a great way to ink your body just for you (though don't be surprised if you suddenly feel the need to post it all over Instagram). The best part is you can choose to play peekaboo or let it be your little secret depending on your outfit each day. Ready to get your tat? Browse these ideas.

Everything the Big Little Lies Cast Has Said About a Possible Season 2

We're still on the edge of our seats waiting to find out if season two of HBO's Big Little Lies is happening, but nothing has been officially confirmed yet. While some of the cast has implied that more episodes are on the way, director Jean-Marc Vallée has previously said that he isn't on board for another season. Still, we can't help but wonder if Vallée changed his mind after the show swept the Emmys this year, taking home eight awards. Here's everything the cast has said about the possibility of a second season.

Nicole Kidman

  • On whether there will be a second season: "I would love to continue on and show these women's lives. It's fantastic being able to have these characters be embraced in this way. We're trying . . . Reese and I [are] traveling all over the world right now, but when we set our minds to something, look out!"

Chloe Coleman (Skye Carlson)

  • On if she's heard anything about a next season: "Actually, they are working on it. I hear they may be telling a bit more of Bonnie's story. Because last time they did it, they didn't do that much of her story. And she still has a lot to tell. I hope, if they do make a season two - which, they're really close - there are a bit more Bonnie stories."
  • On how Coleman could be involved in the show's new storyline: "I'm kind of thinking that there may be, like, some new kid at the school, and he does some really bad stuff. Like, badder stuff than they did in the other one. For some reason, I had this dream, there was a bigger bully and all these kids were hanging out, and then they started to build up and work on the bully. That's what I think is going to happen. That's just my prediction."

Author Liane Moriarty

  • On being approached by producers about a possible second season: "I have started to think about ways this could continue. The producers have asked me to see if I can come up with some ideas. I wouldn't write a new book but perhaps a new story, and then we'll see what happens."
  • On how leaving out the book's storyline about Bonnie's abusive father could open a door for season two: "My original reaction was, 'What have they done? How have they left that out?' But a lot of people have said that they could tell, there had been little hints. It's implied in her performances and some little lines. I think I might have preferred to have had it in there, but I wouldn't argue against it either. It also leaves open the possibility of season two."
  • On whether or not season two is actually happening: "Right now, it's a beautiful possibility."

Director Jean-Marc Vallée

  • On why he isn't in favor of continuing the story: "The detective doesn't want to let go and that's how we finish that. And we think, 'Did they do the right thing? What will happen?' Now it's up to the audience and their imagination to figure out. To do a season two, I'm not for it. Let's move on and do something else! If there's an opportunity to reunite with Reese, Nicole and these characters of course, I'll be a part of it, but Big Little Lies One is a one-time deal. Big Little Lies Two? Nah. The end is for the audience to talk about. Imagine what you want to imagine and that's it. We won't give you a season two because it's so good like this. Why spoil it?"

For the White Latina Struggling With Her Identity - I've Been There, Too

For most of my life, I would shrug off the fact that my parents left everything behind in their native land to ensure that their three bright-eyed kids could reach their potential - something that couldn't be achieved back home in Argentina. I didn't realize until recently that everything that I have and will achieve in life is due to them overcoming their fears of leaving our home and our family and diving headfirst into the unknown. I owe it to them – and to the ones still struggling with their Latino identity - to write this.

In my first school in the United States, my bilingual teacher asked me to speak to her. Anything at all. With the option to either speak in English or Spanish, I refused both. Angry at having to choose one or the other, at having to choose who I was, I didn't talk for two months. That was my first encounter of my confused identity.

I knew early on I didn't fit any specific mold. No one assumed that I spoke Spanish at school. My last name didn't have anything "Hispanic" about it. I didn't fit the stereotypical Latina label for my peers. My cousins would tell me that I had no choice but to think in English, being the "gringa" that I was. I didn't fit the stereotypical Argentinian label for them, and no matter how hard I tried, I didn't fit the stereotypical American label for myself. It was exhausting. But in my own house, surrounded by my supportive family, I knew what I was: I was a young immigrant. I was born in Argentina. But why didn't I feel as Argentinian as I should?

Being a white, blond, blue-eyed, Jewish Argentinian challenged everyone's views of what they thought a Latinx was. "How are you Hispanic AND Jewish? It's not possible!" I got this question way too many times. Since I moved to the United States at the age of 3, the American lifestyle was all that I knew. My older brothers had the connection to Argentina that, for the majority of my childhood, was nonexistent. While they had the slight accents to have others question their nationality, no one batted an eye when I spoke. While they had the middle school with a large Latino community, I had a white, private school. While they had the memories imprinted in their brains of what home was, I had only the stories I heard and easily forgot.

I remember when my family would make fun of my Spanish accent through our FaceTime calls; I felt betrayed by my own tongue. I remember when my parents' broken English would embarrass me. I struggled with being an Americanized Latina. I didn't know which side I wanted to embrace. Little did I know that I didn't have to choose just one; I could be both. But instead of trying to accept my ethnicity and my differences, I would do anything to avoid the whole Latina stereotype. The most diverse title I would have accepted in my preteen years would have been Jewish.

Looking back, I wish that I had gotten over the fact that we weren't your typical Brady Bunch family sooner. But I'm glad that I realized that I didn't care that we didn't fit any specific label. I got out of my sheltered bubble, and I appreciate it all in a way I never thought I could.

While I used to be embarrassed about something as minuscule as my parents' accents, I now realize how ridiculous that was. My dad works hour after hour as a doctor, even going to work in the middle of a Category 4 hurricane to help his patients. My mom donates not only her time and effort but also her whole heart to anyone in need. My two older brothers study and work their whole days but will do anything to brighten people's days. Despite the negative stigma and reputation that immigrants get repeatedly here, I know first-hand that it isn't the least bit true, and it won't ever tear down the pride I have for my family and my community.

I realized that my parents' accents didn't stop them from impacting the world, from impacting us. Their dedication - from learning a new language to working hard just to be able to spoil us and give us a better life – paved a path for me to follow. They taught me to embrace our differences, for they are the ones that make us who we are. They taught me to speak out for what I believe in. They taught me to stay humble, empathetic, and grateful.

While I learned to take pride in my roots, I still struggle with some of my identity today. My small but noticeable Spanish accent makes me stand out to my family. My common Argentinian name is still mocked at school. But that doesn't make me any less proud of who I am. I can't imagine a life without the support of my loud, loving, Hispanic family, a life without blasting our favorite Spanish music, a life without showing our whole city who we are - Latinos. And am I proud to be one.

I Finally Found the Perfect Towel - and I'll Never Go Back

Now that my linen closet is stacked to full capacity, it feels safe and only right to share details about the towels I no longer want to live without. Full disclosure: I was first turned onto Hotel Collection's Ultimate MicroCotton Bath Towels ($15) through a PR pitch and had meager expectations, until I actually gave the free towel samples a try. Whoa.

From the first wash cycle to the first time I used them, I immediately noticed how much softer, fluffier, and more absorbent they were than any of the other towels I owned. After six months of heavy use and wash rotation - because who wants to use the crappy towels anymore? - I noticed another thing: they're remarkably resistant to mildewy funk. As someone making due in a tiny bathroom with limited ventilation and towel-hanging real estate, this was a problem for me - even with frequent laundering and vinegar cycles. These, however, are different.

The towels come in 21 shades, ranging from easy neutrals to pretty pastels and a handful of bold jewel tones. I've stocked up on vapor - a warm, pale gray that feels as versatile as white but doesn't show my makeup residue as easily. It's the lighter of the two gray options.

While the original price is $31 for a bath towel, you can score one for $15 on sale, which is what propelled me to finally stock up. Like sheets, buying high-quality towels at a price you can afford is an investment worth making. If you're looking for an affordable upgrade to your daily shower or bath routine, I highly recommend them.

A New Harry Potter Theory Suggests Hagrid Is More Powerful Than You Thought

Anyone who read Harry Potter knows that Rubeus Hagrid is a half-giant wizard whose magical abilities are oftentimes flawed, but his courageous spirit is always strong. One recent fan theory gaining traction on Reddit, however, purports that Hagrid is much more powerful than the series lets on.

The theory brings up some compelling points about Hagrid's resistance to magic, sheer strength, and telling relationship with Dumbledore. For example, his ability to remain unfazed by Stunning Spells might point to him having the strength characteristic to full giants.

The theory also suggests that Hagrid could have a rare ability comparable to that of Tonks, who is able to effortlessly change her physical appearance as a metamorphmagus. Though Hagrid might not be aware of his own prowess, it's possible that Dumbledore is. This is evident in the very fact that Dumbledore trusts Hagrid with protecting Harry from the very beginning and possibly knows that his powers extend beyond his half-giant status.

Read ahead for a detailed breakdown of the theory that might leave you believing it to be true.

Sure, you can walk into a variety of stores and purchase Disney sneakers off the rack, but why do that when you can get a one-of-a-kind pair hand-painted just for you? Artist Angi Mills paints stunning Disney-themed pictures onto some of your favorite sneakers (like Vans and Keds) and sells them made to order through Etsy. She shares photos of all of her work, which also includes hand-painted Magic Bands, on her Instagram account, The Enchanted Brush, and she even posts videos while painting so you can see how much brushwork goes into each pair of shoes.

Right now, her shop is currently closed so she can focus on her current orders, but it should be back up and running again soon. The shoes start at $380 and go up from there, and while it may seem like a steep price, just think about how damn cool you'll look next time you step into your favorite Disney park wearing these shoes. Keep reading to see Angi's stunning work.

Why You Shouldn't Trust Ivy on American Horror Story: Cult

We're already a few episodes into American Horror Story: Cult, but the internet continues to explode with crazy theories about what the hell is actually going on. After the latest episode, titled "11/9," we have a much better idea about who's behind those terrifying clown masks. Kai seems to be the cult leader, with his Mason-adjacent sister, Winter, not far behind. While a few things are still shrouded in mystery (what the hell is behind that mysterious door in Kai's house?) we do know one thing after "11/9": Ivy Mayfair-Richards cannot be trusted.

Since the latest episode focuses on the events leading up to main storyline, we find out that Ivy knew Winter long before she and Ally hired her as their son's babysitter. Ivy and Winter met at a rally the day before the presidential election. After avid Trump supporter Gary Longstreet (Chaz Bono) sexually assaults Ivy at the rally, Winter comes to her defense and they end up getting coffee together at Ivy and Ally's restaurant, The Butchery on Main. Winter then provokes Ivy's anger at the whole situation, and the two kidnap Gary, tie him up in a basement, and handcuff him to the stairs. Winter then tells Kai what she's done (she says it felt "f*cking fantastic" to hurt someone), and he goes to Gary and persuades him to saw his handcuffed arm off so he can make it to the polls in time to vote for Trump.

Before this revelation, the show hinted that Ivy was already a member of Kai's cult. The first tip-off was that she seemed to be diminishing Ally's fears and experiences from the very start. She's quick to say Ally is imagining things. She's also quick to tell Ally that she doesn't know how much longer she can deal with all of her nonsense. There's also that scene where Ivy slaps Ally after seeing a video of Winter and Ally in their bathroom in a sexual situation.

One other perplexing plot point is that the cult seems to know about Ally's deepest fears. But if they had someone on the inside, someone close to her, it would be easy to know how to push her buttons. It's possible Ivy is behind the whole situation with clowns terrifying Ally. I mean, one of the clowns even has tiny holes all over it! How could they know about Ally's trypophobia unless they were clued in. Also, isn't it strange that Ivy is usually never around when Ally is experiencing all this trauma? Perhaps the most logical conclusion is that none of it is by accident. It's all been orchestrated from the inside.

Then we have the final nail in the coffin: the season preview. There's one especially bloody scene we only see for a split second. Ivy and Winter are presumably in The Butchery on Main together (based on the hanging meat carcasses behind them). They're cutting up something using a piece of machinery. Ivy looks absolutely invigorated by whatever she's doing, while Winter looks on with a smug grin.

Considering this would be a pretty unsanitary way to prepare edible meat, we can safely assume this isn't step one in an elaborate steak dinner. Given the amount of blood and the looks on the characters' faces, this is the scene after a pretty satisfying murder. Perhaps The Butchery is just the best way to get rid of the body. And if Winter and Ivy are hanging out beyond the confines of Winter's nanny gig, and if they're getting into some dark sh*t together, you can see how Ivy isn't the person we think she is at all.

Stay on guard, AHS fans. This lesbian liberal is up to no good.
