See Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, and Luna Stephens's Fairy-Tale-Inspired Halloween Costumes

If mystical and magical is what you're looking for, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend brought all that and more this Halloween with their family's Sleeping Beauty-themed Halloween costumes, and Chrissy's Maleficent look is absolutely wicked. (Yes, she has a cape and a magical staff.) In a series of Instagram posts on Friday, John and Chrissy shared a few photos of their royal ensembles, all gorgeous in their own right and tied together by Luna and John's matching crowns - so cute!

Also, can we just acknowledge how adorable Luna looks in her bright pink Sleeping Beauty dress? Next to John's embellished tuxedo jacket, it might just be my favorite part of the whole family Halloween costume.

"Miles is the owl from Sleeping Beauty but he refused to wear the owl head," John captioned his photo of the whole family, and we feel ya, Miles. Owl head or no owl head, the entire Teigen-Legend family brought the Halloween spirit this year, and looked pretty dang incredible in every single photo. Keep scrolling to take a closer look at the entire family's royal Halloween costumes ahead.

Here's the Recipe For Shake Shack's Famous Burger Sauce

Every burger joint is known for its famed "secret sauce" recipe that no outsiders are allowed to know, and Shake Shack's "Shack Sauce" is no exception. When I got my hands on the stunning cookbook Shake Shack: Recipes & Stories ($17) by Randy Garutti and Mark Rosati, I couldn't help but wonder what secrets they'd divulge. I eagerly flipped through the pages, poring over the drool-worthy photography and reading about the history of the stand, and on page 49 saw its "Shack Sauce" recipe, listed for readers at home.

Now I have a special place in my heart for that classic Shack Burger, having worked at Shake Shack when the first brick and mortar opened in the Summer of 2004. While I don't know the exact measurements for what went into the original sauce, I do know it contained homemade mayo, two different kinds of mustard, tomato paste, pickles, salt, pepper, and chipotle peppers. Since then, I know the recipe has gone through a few iterations, eventually becoming the thick, rich sauce it is today. In the cookbook, the authors even say that this sauce is "close enough" to the original. "We're surely not going to publish THE formula for our secret sauce. (We're not crazy!)"

That said, I do think the sauce they've decided to share is pretty fantastic. Using pickling brine is a really interesting component to making up a secret sauce, and that pinch of cayenne pepper is sure to spice up any burger. If you do decide to do a little home grilling action, I cannot stress enough how important the smash and grill technique is to creating the burger, as well as finding those soft potato buns, slathering them with butter, and toasting them until golden brown.

CBD Is the Only Thing That Seems to Ease My Migraines, So I Asked a Doctor If There's a Link

I've lived with migraines since I was very young. For about 20 years now, I've dealt with every single symptom that comes along with them. The unbearable, throbbing pain. The aching of my neck, jaw, and temples. The nausea, sensitivity to light, dizziness, and aura. You name it, I've experienced it.

When I was officially diagnosed with migraines shortly after elementary school, I didn't find the relief I had expected - instead, I was met with a series of trial-and-error treatments that rarely worked.

Due to the frequency of my migraines, my neurologist tried starting me on preventative medications: one pill that I would take every single day in order to stay ahead of the pain. I was also given pain-relieving medication, which I would take in the event that I still got a migraine. The issue? Almost every single medication I was prescribed gave me disturbing side effects, including but not limited to extreme fatigue, depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts.

Since the medications clearly weren't working for me, I tried sumatriptan injections. These were injected as a liquid solution into various parts of my head. They were really painful and, once again, really ineffective. I went on to try physical therapy for my head and neck, acupuncture, and massage. While these methods of treatment were effective, they only helped my symptoms at that moment; it would be impossible to utilize them every single time I got a migraine, which was quite a lot.

I'm in my late 20s now, still suffering from migraines. Recently, though, a friend recommended CBD oil to me for my pain and symptoms, and I can honestly say that it's the one treatment that's finally working for me. It's noninvasive and painless, with little to no side effects. So I dug into it a bit further to find out why that might be the case.

What Is CBD, and How Can It Help Treat Migraine Symptoms?

"Cannabidiol oil is a product made from the extraction of CBD, the second most prevalent compound or cannabinoid, from marijuana or hemp," Kenneth Weinberg, MD, chief medical officer of the Cannabis Doctors of New York, told POPSUGAR. "The CBD is then mixed with a carrier oil, like hempseed oil." The properties of CBD oil can make it a good candidate for migraine pain and symptom relief. "Among its pharmacologic properties, CBD offers a powerful anti-inflammatory effect, is neuro-protective, and a pain reliever," Dr. Weinberg explained. "Those benefits of CBD, along with its known antianxiety effects, can work on several of the disturbances that occur in a migraine headache, as well as the anxiety that accompanies any chronic painful condition. [That anxiety] can also perpetuate the pain cycle."

Dr. Weinberg noted that it's important to educate yourself on the type of CBD oil you need before you try to use it to treat migraine pain and symptoms. "When obtaining CBD oil, it's important to get a full-spectrum product - one containing a full range of cannabinoids, apart from THC, and terpenes," he said. "Always make sure the CBD oil you choose has been reputably lab tested to ensure it doesn't contain any impurities."

How Much CBD Oil Should You Take to Treat Migraines?

"The number of CBD oil drops needed to treat a migraine depends on how concentrated the oil is," Dr. Weinberg told POPSUGAR. "This can vary greatly, so it's not a good idea to think of treatment in terms of drops, but rather, in terms of milligrams." Since there have been little to no controlled studies looking at how frequently you'd need to take CBD to relieve migraine pain, Dr. Weinberg suggests altering the dosage based on your own response to it.

"There is no standard CBD treatment plan for migraines that I'm aware of, since people's responses to any of the cannabinoids can vary greatly," he said. "Having said that, the usual dose of CBD oil in most situations is 25 milligrams. This should be taken when the first signs of migraine, or its aura, appear." This is best done using a dropper under the tongue, keeping it there for at least one minute. "If there is no relief after 15 to 20 minutes of taking the CBD oil, a second dose can be taken, which can be repeated as needed," Dr. Weinberg said.

If you're taking CBD oil for the first time, you'll need to track how it affects you. "While there has never been a case of a CBD overdose at higher doses, some people may feel uncomfortable, drowsy, and sleepy, at which point it would be good to stop using the CBD," Dr. Weinberg said.

It's important to note that there hasn't been a ton of research supporting treatment with CBD, even though my own migraine pain and symptoms have decreased tremendously after starting it. "In certain patients, CBD oil seems to be helpful for migraine pain," Dr. Weinberg told POPSUGAR. "However, well-controlled studies need to look into this further in the future." It might not help everyone suffering, but in my own experience, it's definitely worth a shot.

LeBron James Looked Freaky as Hell Dressed as a Spot-On Edward Scissorhands

Step aside, Johnny Depp, LeBron James has taken over as Edward Scissorhands. When the Los Angeles Lakers forward stepped out on Tuesday night before Halloween rocking a casual Luigi mask costume, we knew that couldn't be all he had planned, and his real Halloween look this year did not disappoint. The following night, LeBron and his wife Savannah hosted their annual Halloween party with their closest family and friends, and the NBA star proved he's just as terrifying off the court. With Savannah dressed as Medusa, aka "Sadusa," and LeBron deeming himself "LeDward Scissorhands," these two absolutely committed to their festive looks.

It's been a difficult week for the James family, as they were forced to evacuate their home due to the Getty wildfire, but LeBron kept his head high and his hands sharp following the scary fires in California. Last year, he went as Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th, and the year before he donned a frightening Pennywise costume. Check out photos of LeBron as Edward Scissorhands ahead, and believe us when we say he and Savannah take Halloween very seriously!

12 Times Jimmy Fallon, Notorious Giggler, Lost It on Saturday Night Live

If you've tuned in to The Tonight Show, you know that Jimmy Fallon is prone to giggle fits, whether he's watching Taylor Swift cry over a banana or doing a ridiculous commercial with Jessica Biel. But his easy laughter came long before his hosting gig - you can see it in action when he frequently broke character as a cast member on Saturday Night Live (yes, even more than Bill Hader as Stefon). You can't always blame him though. It's probably hard to keep it together when Will Ferrell does something utterly ridiculous, whether he's a posh department store manager in "Jeffrey's" or a horny guy in a hot tub in "The Love-ahs With Barbara and Dave." From conspicuous mouth twitching to hysterical laughter, here are all the times that Jimmy broke on SNL!

The Good Place Cast Has Some Forking Terrific Roles Lined Up After the Show Ends

We're really forking unhappy that The Good Place is ending after its fourth season, and we know we aren't the only ones. The NBC comedy, which first aired back in September 2016, is one of the weirdest and most hilarious series out there, and we're going to miss our favorite members of the afterlife when the series wraps. But even though the end of The Good Place feels like the Bad Place, we don't have to say goodbye to Eleanor and the gang for good at the end of season four. Here's where you can expect to see cast of The Good Place next.

Does Exercise Improve Your Skin? A Derm Weighs In

Image Source: Getty / Nyimas Laula

While you probably already know that regular exercise is good for your body, you may not have considered the toll your morning Pilates class could have on your skin.

After all, your body heats up when you exercise, sweating and causing friction as you move against your clothing: a combination that's not always kind to skin. That's why we consulted board-certified dermatologist Dhaval Bhanusali, MD, to find out the effect your daily sweat session has on your complexion.

"Exercise increases blood flow, which provides nourishment to your skin and also carries away waste products like free radicals," Dr. Bhansulai said. "The better circulation of oxygen you experience often leads to a 'post-workout glow.'"

In addition to giving you a healthy-looking complexion post-class, there are potential long-term benefits of exercise to your skin as well. "There have been [studies] that show an increase in collagen with regular exercise, which is important in maintaining the appearance and function of skin," he said.

A study at McMaster University in Ontario in mice showed that signs of aging were decreased when the mice were put on a consistent exercise routine. Although the mice were genetically altered to prematurely age, their fur didn't even turn grey. This study might mean that regular exercise can contribute to a more youthful appearance.

However, if you're acne-prone, there can be negative side effects if you don't cleanse your skin after a workout. "If you're not showering or cleansing the area after, you might experience an increase in acne, especially yeast or fungal acne," Dr. Bhansali said. If you're unable to shower right after your workout, consider keeping a salicylic acid body spray like Paula's Choice Clear Acne Spray ($25) in your bag. You can also wash with an acne body wash like Neutrogena Body Clear Acne Body Scrub With Salicylic Acid ($6).

Overall, regular exercise will not only benefit you on the inside, but also your outward appearance. So, the next time you're thinking of skipping your workout class for happy hour, consider which one will make you glow in the morning.

The True Story Behind The Omen, One of the Most Haunted Film Productions in History

As Summer came to an end in 1975, production began on one of the more well-known entries in the horror film canon. A chilling portrayal that depicts the foretold arrival of the Antichrist and the inevitable end of times, The Omen came hot off the success of The Exorcist, a frightening and devilish adaptation that had changed the landscape of the movie genre forever.

The Exorcist had been a monstrous hit. To this day, it ranks as one of the top-grossing horror films of all time, having earned over $232 million in revenue. It also earned a staggering 10 Academy Award nominations, which included best picture, best actress, best actor, best supporting actress, and best director. With this kind of success, it seemed like The Omen would be a surefire hit; producer Harvey Bernhard had counted on that. What he might not have expected, though, was the strange set of occurrences that would string together and earn The Omen a reputation as one of the most cursed productions in film history.

Even when The Omen was just an idea floating around the Hollywood stratosphere, Bernhard had received a grave warning. According to the Los Angeles Times, an advertising executive named Bob Munger had approached him with an idea involving the Antichrist. Munger pitched the concept with caution. Bernhard said, "He warned us that he thought the devil didn't want us to make the picture."

In later interviews, both Munger and Bernhard recalled how they predicted the curse in these early moments. Munger recalls his words of warning: "I said, 'If you make this movie, you're going to have some problems. If the devil's greatest single weapon is to be invisible and you're going to do something which is going to take away his invisibility to millions of people, he's not going to want that to happen.'" Bernhard recalled, "The devil was at work and he didn't want that film made."

The trouble ignited before the film even began production. The perceived catalyst was the tragic suicide of lead actor Gregory Peck's son, who had shot himself in the head in June 1975, just two months before the first days on set. When Peck flew to London for the role, his plane was struck by lightning. A few weeks later, executive Marc Neufeld boarded a flight from LA. His plane was also struck by lightning, and he referred to the experience as "the roughest five minutes I've ever had on an airliner."

Still, production on The Omen lurched forward. Bernhard began wearing a cross on set. At one point, the team had hired a small plane for some aerial filming, but the vessel was switched over to another client at the last minute. The plane reportedly crashed on takeoff, killing everyone on board. More ominous circumstances seemed to plague the production. Neufeld, whose plane had already been struck by lightning, was staying at the London Hilton with his wife. The building was bombed by the Irish Republican Army in September of that year.

As filming rolled on, so did the disasters. One particularly chilling zoo scene had a group of wild baboons reacting violently to Damien's presence. According to director Richard Donner, Damien's mother, played by actress Lee Remick, was legitimately terrified while filming the sequence. For the safety of the cast and crew, an animal trainer had been brought on to deal with the baboons involved in the scene. "He was killed the day after we shot there," Bernhard recalled. "He was killed by a tiger. He grabbed him by the head and killed him instantly."

Even after the film was finished, the curse seemed to live on, following those involved with it and inflicting them with unspeakable tragedy. The film's initial release was an obvious choice: June 6, 1976, or 6/6/76. In August of that year, a special effects genius named John Richardson got in a terrible car accident. He was in the Netherlands, working on Richard Attenborough's A Bridge Too Far. In terms of The Omen, Richardson had executed a particularly gruesome decapitation scene. Richardson had survived his car accident in Holland, but his passenger, assistant Liz Moore, hadn't been so fortunate. She had been beheaded. According to local reports, a sign in the vicinity clocked the distance to a nearby town: "Ommen, 66.6 km."

One of the film's stuntmen, Alf Joint, also went to work on A Bridge Too Far. He wound up in the hospital after one of his stunts went wrong. In one sequence, he was simply meant to jump from the roof to an airbag, but he seemed to fall, abruptly and strangely. When he woke up in the hospital, he claimed he'd been pushed by something.

And what became of Harvey Stephens, the young boy who portrayed Damien? He seems to have completely vanished. Back in 2001, AMC premiered a 90-minute documentary called The Omen Legacy. The piece rehashed many of the aforementioned stories and included interviews with the original cast and crew. Stephens was nowhere to be found. "I saw him nine years ago," Bernhard said at the time. "He was handsome and a wonderful boy. He was tall and he was rather beautiful. It was the only picture he ever made." Kevin Burns, an executive producer for the special, even went as far as to hire a private investigator to get ahold of the former actor. "I am sure he is still around out there . . . we really tried to find him."

Stephens isn't missing, by the way. In fact, he returned to acting in 2006, right back to where his career started. He played a small role in the remake of The Omen, which starred Julia Stiles and Liev Schreiber and was released on 6/6/06. As far as we know, nothing out of the ordinary happened during the production of the reboot. The quietude begs the question: is the curse of The Omen real? Was it all coincidence, just a case of bad luck? Only the devil knows.

Curious About That Lid Scrub You've Seen All Over Amazon? A Pro Weighs In

I first encountered lid scrub years ago in a friend's bathroom. She claimed the little pads helped cleanse her long eyelashes and prevented debris and pollen that got caught in them from inhibiting her sight or irritating her eyes. Then, I recently noticed that The Original OcuSoft Lid Scrub ($10 for a pack of 30) was one of Amazon's bestselling personal care products and wondered if I should have been exfoliating my eyelids this whole time. Was ignoring this step like not brushing my teeth?

Considering the product has 4.5 stars on Amazon and more than 1,000 reviews, I decided I needed to investigate it further. I reached out to board-certified dermatologist Dhaval Bhanusali, MD, to find out if I should start incorporating this step into my daily routine. Read more about lid scrub ahead.

Does Exercise Improve Your Skin? A Derm Weighs In
