The Tron Roller Coaster at Shanghai Disney Is Everything We Imagined and More
Ever since we found out the official launch date for Shanghai Disney Resort (it's June 16), we've been dreaming about the new rides at the park. Specifically, the Tron-inspired roller coaster. Thanks to a guest who was at the soft opening of Shanghai Disney this past weekend, our very first glimpse of this anticipated ride was everything we dreamed of (and more). The Tron Lightcycle Power Run roller coaster takes passengers through a dark, twisting maze with brief moments of outside travel. The ride design is reminiscent of the animated scenes you see in Tron, proving that this roller coaster will completely transport you into a different world. Or, at least, that's how it feels.
