What 1 Man Found Inside the Sleeve of an Old Record Will Melt Your Heart

When adding a new item to a collection of any sort, people often look for things that hold great sentimental value. But Reddit user Muctur wasn't prepared for the feels that would hit him when he purchased a record vinyl for his collection. Upon opening the record sleeve, he found a signed note from the mother of the previous owner. In the message, she shared the history of her late son, Mark, who passed away from a heart attack at 39 years old.

According to the letter, Mark passed away while running the Oregon coastal mountains. He was an avid collector of music with over 2,000 CDs and 600 LPs. Mark had only one only wish if something were to happen to him: for his mom to listen to his records. While she mentions in her note that she's given his music collection a spin, she has also found healing in sharing his music around the world. Money made from purchases of Mark's music goes towards his son's education.

The lucky Redditor that snagged this meaningful LP now considers it the most valuable piece in his collection. And while this isn't the first touching note we've seen left on an item, we sure hope it isn't the last! Check out more of the note below.

Bought a used LP. I found this inside. Right in the feels.
