You Don't Have to Stare Long at Michelle Obama's Dress to Know It Has a Special Meaning
Eight years ago, Michelle Obama wore a one-shoulder Jason Wu gown to President Barack Obama's inauguration. Last night for her husband's farewell address, Michelle again turned to the designer one final time. She chose a navy lace dress that hugged her silhouette and the color even matched her husband and daughter's own outfits. The gown was a fitting choice for an emotional night as Michelle subtly paid tribute to not only her husband, but her own fashion legacy. She's known for wearing a range of designers from Prabal Gurung to Tom Ford, after all, and has supported emerging artists since her husband first took office.
