I Tried The Wet Brush 2 Years Ago and Haven't Used Any Other Brush Since
I have an abundance of fine, easily tangled, wavy hair that turns into a knot as I sleep, wash my strands, or even commute to work. After showering, I used to spend a good 20 minutes brushing out my hair while painfully tearing out knots from my head. One day out of curiosity, I finally tried The Wet Brush ($12), not expecting it to fix much. Boy, was I wrong.
The Wet Brush has seriously changed my life (or at least my hair) for the better. My untangling routine used to take the entirety of an episode of Friends, but now I can get it done in just a single rendition of Phoebe's "Smelly Cat." The brush glides through my hair without snagging and miraculously never tears it out of my head. What looks like an ordinary plastic hairbrush has finally cured my ragged, split-end-filled hair.
Ever since the brush has transformed my routine, I've been singing its praises to anyone and everyone who will listen. I have two travel-size Wet Brushes, a Wet Brush at my apartment, one at work, and one at my parents' house. It's literally the only brush I want to use on my hair, and I try to make sure to never be without it. I even gift it to my friends, because honestly, they need this in their lives. As a beauty writer, I can't bear to watch them rip chunks of hair out of their gorgeous heads.
Another aspect about The Wet Brush that I love is that it is constantly coming out with cute new styles, so you can have a brush in your favorite color or design. The brand has a lifelong customer in me, and I hope to never have to go without one again.
