Note to Self: Don't Face Mask While Watching This Is Us
This Is Us + a face mask don't go well together. from r/thisisus
Last night I watched This Is Us, or as I like to call the viewing experience, "had a good cry." Luckily I wasn't wearing a face mask, because as one Redditor discovered, watching the emotional drama and smearing dried charcoal onto your face don't mix.
User Ktmfg hilariously posted a photo that shows her mask stained by what appear to be two streams of tears. And who can blame her? Season two ended with quite the doozy. I haven't ugly-cried this hard since. . . well, the last This Is Us episode.
She isn't alone with her feelings, as the post's comments show. As one commenter wrote, "I feel this on a spiritual level." According to another, "OMG, my sleeves where soaked on my shirt last night because I was wiping tears for about 45 mins, I feel your pain."
Moral of the story: maybe wait until The Tonight Show to start masking?
