So, Melania Trump Is Hosting an Anti-Cyberbullying Event, and People Are ROASTING Her For It

Melania Trump and anti-cyberbullying: two things that go together like toothpaste and orange juice, cats and showers, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, nails and chalkboards, and OK, I'll just stop now because the list could go on for infinite pages. Basically, it's an utterly contradictory combination - and yet Melania chose the fight against cyberbullying as her main priority as first lady, despite the fact that her husband is basically the poster child (yes, child) for harassing people online.

On March 20, Melania hosted her first public event to discuss cyberbullying and internet safety, nearly a year and a half after she announced her focus on the topic at the end of the 2016 presidential campaign. The summit gathered top technology executives from companies like Twitter, Amazon, Facebook, and Google to chat about tactics for preventing internet harassment, according to USA Today.

Needless to say, when people caught wind of this event, they were quick to point out just how contradictory the FLOTUS's move truly was - because as we all know, her husband often hounds people on social media, going so far as to describe other human beings with choice terms like "crooked" and "stupid" and giving other political figures nicknames like "Lyin' Ted" and "Little Rocket Man." Some even thought the entire event was some sort of joke, but alas, this isn't a bunch of "fake news" from The Onion; it's real life. Ahead, see some of the most spot-on reactions to Melania's anti-cyberbullying initiative.
