From "Baby" to Babe: The Evolution of Justin Bieber's Incredible Hair

Justin Bieber has only been in the public eye for seven years, but he has already made a major impact on the pop world. From his debut single, "Baby," to his recent foray into dance with "Where Are Ü Now," nearly every one of Justin's tracks has been completely addictive.
Perhaps the only thing more famous than the singer's dulcet tones is his floppy mane. His trademark shaggy, eye-grazing crop has enraptured tweens and adults alike. Lately, Justin has switched up his shag to a longer (
albeit oddly familiar) style, and while we miss his original coif, we've enjoyed seeing how his strands have transformed with age - just as his musical style has! See the Bieb's hair evolution when you read on.

Zayn Malik's Bad-Boy Transformation Will Make Your Heart Race

Over the years we've seen Zayn Malik successfully morph from innocent, dapper One Directioner to certified solo eye candy. The former group member has practically grown up before our eyes. His shag-free skin and side-swooped skater locks have been traded for mysterious scruff, trendy buzz cuts, and eyebrows that put ours to shame (damn you, Zayn!).

Whether you've been loving his bad-boy persona or fancy his former swag, there's no denying that Zayn isn't exceptionally easy on the eyes. In honor of his 23rd birthday, we've put together a memoriam montage of Zayn's sexiest scowls, smiles, and enviable arches. Keep on scrolling to see his evolution!

DIY the Braided Bun That Seriously Won't Budge While You Work Out

January is notoriously the busiest month for gym-goers, and if you're committing to better fitness habits this year, then you should do it with style. To help up your workout hair game, we asked celebrity stylist Sarah Potempa to create five easy braided looks that will hold your strands in place in the most eye-catching way. Bobbi Brown makeup artist Kim Soane painted the faces of our fitness blogger models, Chase Lindsay Rosen of Athleisurely and Evann Clingan of her eponymous site, using long-wear, waterproof products. Everything was photographed at the iconic Chelsea Piers, which boasts a bevy of creative sweat-inducing classes. Every day this week, we will be revealing a new look (such as this French fishtail ponytail).

Second up: a braided bun created by Sarah on Evann for beach volleyball (or whatever sport you choose!). It's great for grown-out bangs or layers since hair won't fall in front of your face. Plus, it looks elegant enough to wear out after class.

"This look is perfect for if you were playing beach volleyball or a fun sporting activity, so you can have a little more fun with your bun and make it more textured," Sarah said.

The Ultimate Flat-Belly Workout

This flat-belly workout will tone your abs from all directions, making for a tighter, stronger core. We mix ab toning moves with cardio bursts and full-body core exercises to tone your midsection. Press play and get ready to feel the burn.

Why You Should Never, Ever Get Your Hair Cut Wet

Think back to your last haircut. Before you sat in the stylist's chair, you leaned back and enjoyed a relaxing wash from the salon's assistant. You gave your hairstylist the go-ahead to cut off several inches from your wet mane, were satisfied with the trim, and then received a blowout. Once your new look was unveiled, you felt like your hair was just a little too short, but you still liked the overall style. Unfortunately, you're probably rocking an unflattering haircut.

According to Jon Reyman, celebrity stylist and founder of Spoke & Weal salons, wet cutting is a lie. "You don't wear your hair wet," Reyman points out. Soaked strands stick together, as well as stretch and appear up to 50 percent longer thanks to elasticity. That's why your finished look can be dramatically different from what you saw happening in the chair. Instead of using the typical method, he cuts the hair of women like Sienna Miller and Lana Del Rey when it's dry and straight. "A good haircut needs to look good straight, wavy, up, down," Reyman explained. "If your hair looks excellent smooth and straight, it's going to look excellent styled in a number of ways."

If hair is cut while wet at all, Reyman says it should be done as prep work for the main event: the dry cut. When clients are going from long hair to a shorter style, that's when he will do a bit of wet cutting, removing some length quickly. Then he will dry and straighten the hair and focus on the cut. "Hair that is straight and dry allows me to manage density, length, and texture with an accuracy that wet hair doesn't provide."

Most stylists don't really refine their cut once it's been styled - allowing them to mask a bad job. "Every hairdresser can style hair," Reyman said. "But straight, dry hair doesn't lie!" Read on for photographic evidence straight from his salons.

Discover Demi Lovato's Brilliant Makeup Line With NYC New York Color

You may have figured it out by now. First, we announced that Demi Lovato was the new face of NYC New York Color. Then, we shared her 12 tips for feeling like your most confident self, teasing out there was more to come from the Demi and NYC New York Color. And now, we can finally reveal that the pop star has created a line of makeup for the affordable brand!

This is not Demi's first rodeo making beauty goodies, as she already has her skin care line Devonne by Demi. But it is the premier time she has given us custom products to copy her bold beauty look - from her defined arches to her luscious lashes and flushed cheeks.

The line, dubbed Lovatics, includes four products: a 12-shade neutral eye shadow palette, lip-and-cheek stains (in four colors), a mascara, and an eyebrow pencils (in two hues). Everything launches at Target and Walmart this month.

"I actually picked the shades from the shades of makeup that I like to wear during the day," she told us. "I've been wearing makeup since I was a young girl, because I did beauty pageants, so I know a lot about makeup. When I got to do this line it was really exciting for me."

Though there are only four products in the collaboration, they are multiuse and can be worn in a minimal or intensified way. Demi relies on the makeup both on and off stage, where she's known to go makeup free and post selfies.

"When I travel, yesterday for instance, all I wore was the lip and cheek tint, the NYC New York Color Get It All Foundation Stick, and the brow pencil," she said. "That's literally all I use because I like to think that beauty comes from within. As much as I can go without it, awesome. But also, I have a side of me where I go on stage and I have to wear makeup so often that I like to know what I'm wearing. I like to pick the colors myself, and I get to have fun with it."

Keep reading to see all of the products in Demi's exciting new offering, and then head to POPSUGAR Latina where she shares her gorgeous eyebrow secrets.

What's the Difference Between American and French Omelets?

If you've ever ordered an omelet in Europe, then you know you were served something very unlike the omelets we know and love in America. Many Americans feel squeamish about undercooked eggs (hello, risk of salmonella!), but that custardy, underdone quality is sought out in Europe. Whether you plan to cook one of the styles yourself or experience it at a European restaurant, here are the main differences between American and French omelets.

An American omelet, as pictured on the top, has a speckled golden crust from the pan, and the surface is uneven with craters. This effect occurs because, similar to how steak chars on a pan, the scrambled eggs are cooked over a high heat and left untouched until the eggs set. The round omelet is then folded in half and served. Often, the fillings like meat and vegetables are cooked into the eggs rather than added afterward.

The French-style omelet, as pictured on the bottom, has a smooth surface and a pale exterior devoid of any golden color. This prized appearance is achieved by constantly shaking the pan to keep the eggs from sticking to the bottom while simultaneously whisking the eggs with a fork so they cook uniformly. The omelet is rolled into a cylinder just as the eggs begin to coagulate on the bottom of the pan, even though part of the egg is still wet and underdone. The fillings, usually herbs or cheese, are added to the center of the omelet before it is rolled up.

Unlike the American omelet, which is cooked through, the French omelet has an underdone center that oozes out upon cutting the omelet open. Which do you prefer: the fluffy, moist texture of the French omelet or the tougher, slightly crispy American omelet?

Chinese Take-In: Chicken Lo Mein

Those who have never attempted a stir-fry before or who want to bring the taste of Chinese takeout home, this chicken lo mein recipe is for you.

While stir-fries are infamous for being quick ways to put dinner on the table, the prep does involve a bit of elbow grease. I recommend prepping the vegetables early in the week and storing them in separate Tupperware containers. If you don't have the time to do that, keep in mind that you'll need about 30 minutes to whack away at the vegetables prior to cooking them. After you've prepped each vegetable, store the piles neatly in a casserole dish or cooking sheet. This lessens the cleanup (who wants 20 mise en place bowls?) while keeping you organized.

This dish is Chinese-American "takeout" at its finest. Each noodle is coated in plenty of ginger, hoisin, and soy sauce, but because there are so many veggies and chicken pieces, it doesn't feel heavy or greasy.

Read on for the recipe.
