Chance the Rapper Donates a Whopping $1 Million to Chicago Public Schools

If you aren't already obsessed with Chance the Rapper, you're about to be. On Monday, the Grammy winner held a press conference at Westcott Elementary School to announce his plans to donate $1 million to Chicago Public Schools, the third largest school district in the country. His announcement comes days after he met with Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner to talk about school funding. "Today I'm proud to announce that I am donating $1 million to CPS to support arts and enriching programming," the 23-year-old rapper said. "I'm excited to share that this donation was made possible by my fans." Chance tweeted on Friday that he had a plan on Monday morning to fund relief for Chicago Public Schools, and he certainly followed through.
