This Sci-Fi Horror Movie Looked Scary Enough, Then We Realized It's Based on True Events

In 1997, a series of lights flashed across the sky in Phoenix, AZ. What they were exactly is still a mystery, and a new film is telling a fictionalized story inspired by the real-life incident. In Phoenix Forgotten, we meet three students who go out to search for the source of the lights . . . and never return. Like its found-footage grandfather The Blair Witch Project, this movie also features a cast of mostly unknown actors. However, Alien director Ridley Scott is on board as a producer, which is a great sign. The movie opens April 21 - let's hope it make our list of 2017's best horror movies!
