Justin Bieber Flashes a Peace Sign After Canceling Tour Dates and Apologizing to Fans

Justin Bieber was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills, CA on Monday. The "Sorry" singer sported jogging shorts and a black t-shirt and flashed a peace sign for photographers while taking a stroll, just hours after announcing that he would be canceling the remaining dates of his Purpose World Tour, which he's embarked on for the last year and a half. The tour cancellation news comes just a week after news broke that the singer was banned from China over "bad behavior," and that his "inappropriate manner has caused public discontent" in the country.

In a statement, a rep for Justin said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose World Tour concerts. Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months." It went on: "He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across six continents during this run. However, after careful consideration, he has decided he will not be performing any further dates." Luckily for devastated fans, ticket purchases will be refunded.

Justin has support in at least one fellow musician: John Mayer, who spoke out about Justin's decision on Twitter, saying, "When someone pulls remaining dates of a tour, it means they would have done real damage to themselves if they kept going. We've lost so many great artists lately. I give Justin [two thumbs up] for realizing it was time to call it."
