The latest episode of The Great British Baking Show awarded Hermine the title of star baker for the second week in a row during an exciting, three-part soft cake challenge. Her winning creation was the incredible jelly-art cake she made featuring an intricate red poppy-in-gelatin design that was layered on top of chocolate and raspberry mousse. The cake was so mesmerizing that judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith had to ask for it to be taken away because it was just too delicious. Grey's Anatomy isn't known for giving fans a calm and stressless viewing experience. Luckily, we've found the perfect way for you to decompress after watching an episode - a coloring book! This Grey's Anatomy Coloring Book ($8) has pages of hand-drawn images featuring cast favorites including Meredith, Miranda, Richard, and plenty of others. There are a ton of images that show them working away at Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital, and all you have to do is grab your pencil crayons to fill the pages with color.
The scenes look as if they're pulled straight from a Grey's Anatomy episode, both in and out of the hospital. This year, I might be adding a new recipe to my list because Walmart is selling a Hostess Party-Size Holiday Twinkies Baking Kit that serves 20 people, and I'm on a sugar high just looking at it.
The massive kit comes with Twinkies cake mix, a vanilla cream filling mix, a Twinkie-shaped baking pan, and instructions on how to make this huge Twinkie a reality at home. All you need to add is vegetable oil, eggs, water, and heavy cream. But I am curious how this would turn out if I mixed in a few holiday sprinkles with the cream before putting it in the middle of the cake.

Operation Christmas Drop Was Filmed Exactly Where the Real Event Happens: Guam
Netflix's Operation Christmas Drop is loosely based on a true story, so it only makes sense that the setting sticks close to the truth, too. If you watched this Christmas film and wondered to yourself what that stunning tropical backdrop was, they actually mention it in the movie. However, it wasn't glaringly obvious, so you might have missed it. Operation Christmas Drop takes place in Guam, and Netflix actually filmed on location there.
The real military-run Operation Christmas Drop is run out of Andersen Air Force Base each year, which is located in Yigo, Guam. Since 1952, the Department of Defense has been running this program to airlift supplies and gifts to islands all around Guam each holiday season. To stay true to the real operation, Netflix filmed along the beaches of Guam for the movie as well. In fact, they actually were granted permission to film at the Air Force base. Director Martin Wood said in a statement to Stars and Stripes, "There is no way to build an Air Force base for a movie - you just have to move onto one." He added that the Navy provided helicopters and ships "to portray an air-to-air sequence of travel to a distant island."

The Seresto Flea and Tick Collar Gives Me Peace of Mind as a Pet Owner
I live in an incredibly rural town in central New York. While living in a quiet part of the world comes with its challenges (you can't count on every town having a gas station), it also comes with a lot of perks - fresh air, less crowds, and the ability to enjoy frequent jaunts through woodlands and fields with my dogs. Because we love walking our dogs off the beaten path, my husband and I have always been vigilant in protecting our dogs from pests. McDonald's Is Adding a New Plant-Based McPlant Burger to Its Menu
Good news for vegetarians and fast-food fans alike - this week, McDonald's announced that it will finally offer a plant-based meat substitute. In a blog post, McDonald's unveiled plans for a plant-based burger, aptly called the McPlant. The meatless patty will be served on a sesame-seed bun with classic toppings.
"There are other plant-based burgers out there, but the McPlant delivers our iconic taste in a sink-your-teeth-in (and wipe your mouth) kind of sandwich," the blog post reads.

It did not disclose the specific plant ingredients used in the patty or any information about the suppliers McDonald's plans to use. The fast-food chain described the new burger as crafted "by McDonald's, for McDonald's."
However, a spokesperson for Beyond Meat told CNBC that the popular meat-substitute producer cocreated the plant-based patty that will be used in the McPlant roll-out with McDonald's. The two companies previously collaborated on Beyond's P.L.T. burger, which was tested at McDonald's locations in Canada last year.
Though there's no official release date, some locations are expected to begin testing the veggie burger next year. With the release, McDonald's will join the handful of other fast-food restaurants offering plant-based alternatives to typical drive-through fare, including Burger King, White Castle, and Carl's Jr.

Everything We Know About Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's 8 Pets
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend often share photos and videos of their two human children, Luna and Miles, but the pair are also mom and dad to a number of animal babies. Although Chrissy and John's oldest dog, Puddy - who they referred to as their "firstborn" on many occasions - passed away in March 2018, the pair are also mom and dad to two birds, four dogs, one bearded dragon, and, as Chrissy put it in August, "one still-alive hamster."

Meet Major: Joe Biden's German Shepherd Will Be the First Rescue Dog in the White House
There's going to be a couple of new "first dogs" thanks to Joe Biden's projected election win on Nov. 7. Come January, the president-elect and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, will put pets back in the White House - including the establishment's first rescue dog.
Joe saw Major the German Shepherd on social media back in 2018 and was moved by his story. Major was one of six puppies forced to vacate their home after being exposed to something toxic, before finding a temporary home with the Delaware Humane Association. Joe reached out for more information, which led to the Bidens fostering Major for eight months before he was officially adopted.
In addition to Major, the Bidens are also bringing another dog, named Champ, to the White House. They've had the older German Shepherd since 2008. Major and Champ are the latest in a long line of pups to grace the presidential building, and we can't wait to see more of their adorable shenanigans in the future.
