JetBlue Just Made History With the First Commercial Flight to Cuba in 50+ Years

The first commercial flight from the United States to Cuba in more than 50 years has landed in Santa Clara.

JetBlue Flight 387 made history on Aug. 31 after completing the 256-mile trip from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to the island, which has seen an uptick in American tourism since travel restrictions were loosened by the Obama administration earlier this year.

Passengers on board were greeted with goodie bags boasting mini Cuban flags as they took their seats ahead of the highly anticipated journey across the Atlantic Ocean to Santa Clara - the city previously known for housing Ernesto "Che" Guevara's tomb.

Although JetBlue was the first airline to fly the route, other airlines will be making the trip in months to come. According to the US Department of Transportation, Southwest, Delta, and American Airlines will soon participate in the new route.

Though there are now 12 authorized ways for US citizens to enter the Caribbean nation, keep in mind that it's still technically illegal for Americans to simply hop on a plane, so definitely do your research before booking your own tickets.

Read on for more pictures of Flight 387's history-making moment. Then, discover how cruise companies are also capitalizing on the new US-Cuba relationship.

Can't Get Your Breakouts Under Control? You Need to Read This

Tackling day-to-day acne is quite the process as it is, but when you add hormones into the mix, it gets increasingly frustrating. Getting hit with a hormonal breakout is a major letdown: it makes me feel like I have to start from scratch to get my skin balanced again. I know I'm not the only one who knows this struggle all too well. That's why I spoke to some leading experts in the skin care industry to find out what causes hormonal acne, how to prevent it, and ways to manage once you have a flare-up.

Acne: An Overview

Let's start with the basics of what causes acne in general. Contrary to popular belief, it's not always about the amount of oil but the quality of oil. Some of us get breakouts when the production of excess sebum and oil is too thick and waxy. "Instead of flowing freely through pores, this type of oil becomes blocked and forms a plug," New York City dermatologist Dr. Dennis Gross explained. That plug congests the pore and results in a blemish.

Oily complexions aren't the only source of spots. If you have dry, flaky skin and still suffer from breakouts, you may have an oil flow problem. Dead skin cells prevent sebum from making it to the surface of the skin, so it gets trapped inside of pores and creates acne-causing bacteria. This typically results in blackheads, enlarged pores, and even drier skin.

Francine Porter, founder of Osmotics Cosmeceuticals, told me another root of acne can be "abnormally sticky skin cells" because they don't properly shed, clogging hair follicles. That's why cell turnover is so important when combating breakouts (more on that later).

3 Reasons You Should Wait For the 2017 iPhone

The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus aren't even a year old and the iPhone 7 isn't out yet, but that won't stop the rumors from spreading about the 2017 iPhone. 2017 will mark the iPhone's 10th anniversary, which is why speculation about the phones expected then are already here.

The latest rumors, most of which come from a Nikkei Asian Review report, include several details that might make it worth holding off from buying the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus.

  1. Three new iPhone models: Not two, but three new iPhones will arrive in 2017. The sizes include: 4.7 inches, 5.5 inches, and one that is 5.5 inches or larger.
  2. Say hello to curved screens: The reason for a third model? Apple will bring a curved screen to the third one. You can find examples of a curved screen on the Samsung Galaxy 7 Edge and Note 7.
  3. Finally, the OLED screen: And of course, to make a curved screen reality, Apple would need to switch to OLED (organic light-emitting diode) screens - a rumor previously reported by Bloomberg.
  4. The end of the home button: A new report from Bloomberg states that the iPhone in 2017 will no longer have a home button, because Apple wants to "focus more heavily on the display."

If the curved screen is actually coming to the iPhone, we can definitely wait for it.

Does This Monkey Resemble Lord Voldemort? The Internet Seems to Think So

A monkey recently born at the UK's Paignton Zoo has garnered a lot of attention for its pretty uncanny resemblance to Lord Voldemort.

According to The Mirror, the baby monkey is the first ever to be delivered via a C-section. The zoo's head of veterinary services, Ghislaine Sayers, said, "We have only done three C-sections here in the last 16 years. Jo, our surgeon on this occasion, has performed them on dogs, cats, cows, and sheep before – but never a primate."

So while the monkey was brought into this earth in a miraculous manner, it also looks like it could have ties to the dark arts . . . and people on Twitter have plenty of feelings about it. Since the monkey's birth, the hashtag #VoldemortMonkey is full of hilarious reactions.

Witness the Moment a Photojournalist Saved a Pregnant Woman From a Burning Car

On Tuesday morning, fate brought a Louisiana photojournalist to the right place at the right time when he witnessed a car lose control and crash into trees along the side of the highway. WBRZ photographer Patrick Perry was driving on Highway 63 with fellow reporter Brittany Weiss when they saw the accident and rushed to help.

Perry pulled the driver - 21-year-old Caitlynn Godinez, who is seven months pregnant - out of the car while Weiss recorded the heroic act. "You cover stories like this but rarely witness a hero first hand," Weiss wrote on Facebook.

Other drivers stopped on the road to help at the scene, calling 911 and comforting Godinez, who was very shaken up from the accident. It's been reported that Godinez is "injured but in stable condition. The baby is OK."

Gisele Bündchen Tops Forbes's List of Highest-Paid Models - See Who Else Made the List

Gisele Bündchen is the highest-paid model of 2016, according to Forbes's list. So if you thought the model's retirement from the runway would mean the Brazilian beauty would fall off the map, you now know you were wrong.

With a combination of ad campaigns for giant brands like Pantene and Chanel and her own lingerie line, Gisele took home a whopping $30.5 million, landing about $20 million ahead of the model in spot No. 2. But she wasn't the only Latina to make the list of 20; scroll ahead to find out who else got a coveted spot and is laughing all the way to the bank.

These Models Are Shining a Light on Body Diversity In Fashion, Starting With a Powerful Photo Shoot

While stunning ad campaigns are far from rare, ones that make us stop and say "wow" are - and the images released by the All Woman Project definitely caused that reaction. Models of all sizes, shapes, and ethnicities came together to pose for the ads, which focuses on body diversity in fashion. Leading the dynamic pack? None other than Charli Howard, the British model who was considered too curvaceous at size 2, as well as Clementine Desseaux, a body-positive model and blogger. Both ladies are known for speaking out about the lack of diversity in the industry.

"We want all young girls to look at fashion images and see their body shape or ethnicity represented something that most of us starring in the video didn't feel like we had growing up," Clementine said in a press release.

In the #IAmAllWoman photo shoot, you'll also recognize familiar faces Denise Bidot and Iskra Lawrence, aka two top models who celebrate their curves. They appear at ease and comfortable in front of the camera alongside the other women, leading to beautifully shot - and unretouched - photos. The inclusive group resembles that of our closest girlfriends, just casually sharing candid moments on camera.

"We may be models, but we all have cellulite, stretch marks and other flaws that make us women, but which society teaches us to be ashamed of," said Clementine. "This campaign is designed to unify women around the globe."

Read on to see all the powerful images from the photo shoot. These models are paving the road for body diversity on and off the runway.

Gisele Bündchen Just Set a Record No Model Ever Has Before

When it comes to the world's most renowned supermodels, we don't love to talk numbers. After all, each girl is making waves in her own right, taking the catwalk or posing for campaigns we'll never forget. But every year, Forbes releases a list of the highest-paid models in the industry, and there are facts impossible to ignore.

Take Gisele Bündchen, for example, who's officially retired but has continued to top the list since 2002. (Her appearance at the Olympics may be her last strut down the runway.) Or Kendall Jenner, who's managed to double her earnings since 2015 and meet her friend Karlie Kloss at spot three. Altogether, these ladies made a whopping $154 million, to which we'll say: there's nothing like a little teamwork. Read on for the official countdown.

This Is Gisele Bündchen's Favorite Outfit, and It's Easy to See Why

Gisele Bündchen's favorite outfit isn't a dress and heels - it's a combination you and I reach for almost every day. The retired supermodel told Vogue Paris that her go-to look is simply "jeans and a T-shirt." No ifs, ands, or buts. Well, it's no wonder. After some careful digging, we discovered that there's simply no one who can add so much glamour to a casual ensemble.

When we think of Gisele, high-fashion editorials and iconic runway moments might come to mind, but after seeing how darn good she looks in denim, that's about to change. Read on for all the inspiration you need to choose jeans and a tee when you wake up tomorrow.

The Moving Story Behind This Lunchroom Photo Will Bring You to Tears

Leah Paske hasn't been in the "scary and hard" middle school grades for years, and understandably has forgotten most things about her experience aside from the one time she cried after a boy called her a name on the bus. But now that her son who has autism just started sixth grade, Paske has been feeling a bit of anxiety about middle school all over again.

"Sometimes I'm grateful for his autism," Paske admitted in a post to Facebook. "That may sound like a terrible thing to say, but in some ways I think, I hope, it shields him. He doesn't seem to notice when people stare at him when he flaps his hands. He doesn't seem to notice that he doesn't get invited to birthday parties anymore. And he doesn't seem to mind if he eats lunch alone."

Paske feels worried for her son, and consistently asks him if anything about his day at school made him sad or if he ate lunch with someone. This week, however, she got her answer to the latter question not from her son, but through a heartwarming photo of him eating lunch with a special new friend.

"Travis Rudolph, a wide receiver at Florida State, and several other FSU players visited my son's school today," she wrote. "I'm not sure what exactly made this incredibly kind man share a lunch table with my son, but I'm happy to say that it will not soon be forgotten. This is one day I didn't have to worry if my sweet boy ate lunch alone, because he sat across from someone who is a hero in many eyes."

You Can Tell Emma Stone's Feeling This Floral Dress Just by the Way She's Posing

Despite what some believe, fashion is far from superficial. Pulling on a flattering dress or curve-hugging jeans and knowing you look good? That's something that can totally change your mood, confidence, even the way you stand - and perhaps no one knows that better than Emma Stone. When the star stepped out on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival, promoting her new film La La Land you could tell she was feeling her green and pink floral dress. The way she positioned her hands, that subtle little leg pop - those poses pretty much proved what we immediately saw: this piece was perfect for Emma.

Still, it wasn't just the breezy designs and ruffled details that made us love Emma in this look. The colors also suited her fair skin and red hair, and the cognac shoes were an A+ choice, making just enough of a statement while acting as a neutral.

Scroll through to get a glimpse of Emma nailing this red carpet look. We wouldn't mind if she pulled a Kate Middleton and rocked it again sometime soon.

Hailey Baldwin is officially a Guess girl, and she's been offering sneak peeks from her upcoming editorials. Behind the scenes, Hailey hung out in denim shorts, unbuttoned and unzipped, and a branded graphic tank, which she tied up into a crop top. The look, complete with Vans high-tops, feels very signature Hailey, what with its sexy little touches (notice the red lace bra?).

But it's also one we might have worn back in the '90s, when logo tees were all the rage and distressed cutoffs were an obvious staple. Read on to take a peek, then shop for the essentials you'll need to turn back time and embrace the last few weeks of Summer.

The Top iPhone 7 Rumors, Including 1 About Its Release

It feels like the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus just hit shelves, but the tech world is abuzz with rumors about Apple's next installment, the iPhone 7. Much of the speculation is taking place on the Chinese version of Twitter, Weibo.

However, despite all the rumors flying on Weibo and other sites, the Wall Street Journal reports that the iPhone 7 will not have any significant changes, other than removing the headphone jack. The next iteration of iPhone's will also keep the 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch display size. The report further suggests that "bigger design changes" will happen in 2017, which is the 10th anniversary of the iPhone. Those changes might include an upgrade to an OLED screen.

Ahead are the other rumors that you can expect when the iPhone 7 comes around.

  1. A September release date: It's official. Apple sent out invites confirming that the iPhone event will take place on Sept. 7.
  2. A better camera: A new leak that originally surfaced on Weibo show a prototype iPhone 7, reports 9to5Mac. The photo shows a larger camera lens that will most likely be able to take better pictures with poor lighting. The raised camera lens is still on the phone.
  3. An iPhone without a headphone jack: Several sources are speculating that the next iPhone will no longer come with a headphone jack. Instead, people can either use earphones that can connect in the Lightning port or use wireless Bluetooth ones. Some people are extremely upset about this change and over 200,000 have even signed a petition against it. However, a new leak from 9to5Mac shows that the new phones will come with earphones suitable for this change, as well as an adapter for anyone who doesn't want to use wireless headphones.
  4. Bigger battery: The new iPhone will comes with a battery that's bigger than current ones - a 3100 mAh battery to be exact, according to Chinese website MyDrivers . This doesn't necessarily mean longer battery life, but we can only hope.
  5. A 256GB storage option: Current iPhone models come in 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage options, so the 256GB model would be a nice option if the leak reported by MyDrivers is true.
  6. A completely waterproof phone: Mac Otakara also claims that early iPhone 7 prototypes are both dustproof and waterproof, reports Mashable.
  7. Liquid Metal body: Because Apple owns patents with Liquid Metal Inc., many rumors suggest that the next iPhone will skip plastic and aluminum bodies in favor of a new material.
  8. A completely flat LCD screen: Forget curved edges - Apple will reportedly stick to a classic, flat-screened iPhone model.
  9. A barely there home button: The home button you know and click, might go away for a more "touch-sensitive" one, according to 9to5Mac. The rumors, coming from Chinese site, Storm, state that the new phone would use haptic feedback (the same technology behind 3D Touch), to replace the home button.
  10. Smart connector: The popular feature on the iPad Pro might be coming to the larger iPhone 7 model. A new leak from OnLeaks shows the smart connector, which lets you transfer data and power between the keyboard and iPad Pro. If it's on the new iPhone, it opens up the possibilities of new accessories to use with it.
  11. A new color: A new rumor reported by 9to5Mac via Mac Otakara, speculates that the space grey color will no longer be available and instead, a deep blue color will replace it. A designer then mocked up what the phone could look like in such a color. However, Italian blog Macitynet posted supposed photos of the new devices and no blue color was shown. Another rumor from TechTastic shows off another new color: a space black iPhone. This might be one rumor we won't get any confirmation until the phones are out.
  12. Wireless charging: Start saying goodbye to chargers that bend and break. According to a report by Bloomberg, Apple might introduce wireless charging for its smartphones in 2017. A charger would still exist but the iPhone could charge over the air. No word yet on how far you can be from a charger to do this.
  13. Same names: Mac Otakra reports that the names for the phones will be the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

The one rumor that doesn't appear true is the dual camera that Apple Insider once suggested would appear on the iPhone 7 Plus. According to a report from Cult of Mac, the technology isn't ready yet, so it won't appear on the new phone.

That's ok, considering the rest of these changes would be pretty drastic. What do you hope Apple will change about the iPhone 7?

- Additional reporting by Ann-Marie Alcántara

The Stranger Things Season 2 Details You Need to Know

If you watched and loved Netflix's new sci-fi megahit Stranger Things, we've got good news and bad news. The good news is that Netflix has confirmed that there will be a second season and released a short teaser that gives a few clues about what's next. The bad news is that the Duffer Brothers, who created the show, also pretty much confirmed the tragic fate of Barb, the darling outcast whom countless viewers fell in love with despite her not-so-ample screen time. This latest information comes from a new interview with IGN, in which the Duffer brothers drop the first hints about the second season and explain the situation with Barb. If anything, it might make the wait for the next season a bit more bearable . . . but if you need more ideas for passing the time, you could always plan your Stranger Things Halloween costume or listen to that '80s-tastic soundtrack hundreds of times. Check out what we know so far below.

  • The nitty-gritty details: It will be set in 1984 (picking up sometime in the Fall, which is about a year after the events in season one), and consist of nine episodes.
  • The premiere date: The specific date is still TBD, but it will hit Netflix at some point in 2017.
  • Matt Duffer on whether Barb will be in season two: "I can't see it happening . . . but Barb will not be forgotten. We'll make sure there's some justice for Barb. People get very frustrated, understandably, that the town doesn't seem to be really dealing with Barb. That stuff is all happening. We're just not spending any screen time on it."
  • On why Barb's parents aren't grieving: "It's not like her parents are like, 'Oh Barb left. She died!' Season one actually takes place over the course of six or seven days - it's a really short period of time."
  • On what season two would tackle: "Part of what we want to do with hypothetical season two is to explore the repercussions of everything that happened."
  • On whether Brenner will be back: "I would say that if we were going to kill Brenner . . . as an audience member watching the show, if that was his death, that would be very unsatisfying to me, when the monster jumps on him and we cut away. He would deserve much more than that as an ending. So yes, there's a possibility of seeing him again."
  • There will be new faces: Producer Shawn Levy spoke to SlashFilm about the fate of season two, and what they hope to accomplish. "We definitely are hopeful to go several more seasons. And the plan is to continue with this set of characters while introducing a few critical key new ones next season," he said. "So I'll just say that a lot of the big mysteries get answered at the end of season one, but we are very much kind of unearthing new problems and questions that merit future stories and future investigation in the most enjoyable way. So we are in love with our cast and our characters."
  • The season 2 teaser: Clocking in at just under a minute long, the short video doesn't give us much. What it does do, though, is reveal which '80s films will be influencing the new season: Mad Max, The Boy Who Came Back to Live, The Pumpkin Patch, The Palace, The Storm, The Pollywog, The Secret Cabin, The Brain, and The Lost Brother.

Daniel Ek Invented Spotify, But His Bride Just Brought Back the Asymmetrical Wedding Dress

When Spotify founder and CEO Daniel Ek got married to his long-term partner, Sofia Levander, the sun was setting on Lake Como, Italy. Sofia walked down the aisle to "November Rain" by Guns N' Roses, showing off her strapless, asymmetrical gown. From the back, it was easy to see that Sofia's train swept the floor, but from the front, her design appeared just a simple cream, cocktail dress, so Sofia was able to show off her satin bow shoes. Her yellow bouquet complemented the champagne shade of her number, which featured a strapless ruched bodice.

You might remember that Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney also tied the knot in Italy, but with a guest list that included Mark Zuckerberg and Chris Rock, and a performance by Bruno Mars, the Ek wedding was just as glamorous. Read on to see Sofia's update on the high-low bridal look, and watch her approach the altar. Then check out more snaps from the special day, and get a peek at the red midi Zuckerberg's wife, Priscilla Chan, wore to the ceremony.

Stranger Things Is Coming Back For Season 2! Here's What We Know

For anyone who's zipped through Stranger Things and wondering if Netflix will bring you back to the Upside Down, we have some good news - they are! It was announced on Wednesday that Netflix officially picked up the series for another season. It will be set in 1984 (picking up in the Fall, which is roughly a year after the events in season one), and consist of nine episodes with a premiere date scheduled at some point in 2017. Co-creators Matt and Ross Duffer (a.k.a. The Duffer Brothers mentioned in every opening credits sequence) will both return, as well as executive producers Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen. The new, minute-long teaser for the upcoming season also reveals the films that will influence season two (Mad Max, The Boy Who Came Back to Live, The Pumpkin Patch, The Palace, The Storm, The Pollywog, The Secret Cabin, The Brain, and The Lost Brother):

To further clear things up, Matt Duffer gave a hint about what's to come in season two in an interview with IGN:

We wanted to do a couple things with this [first] season. We didn't want to do The Killing thing. We wanted it to resolve that main thing of Will going missing in the first season. So in that sense, it is like an eight-hour movie. Now, we don't answer all the questions by the end of the season - there are definitely some dangling threads. The hope is that it feels satisfying but that we left room and that if people respond to it we can go back into this world. But if we do get to go back, it's not a second season as much as a sequel.

Producer Shawn Levy also gave a few season two insights in an interview with SlashFilm. When asked if the Duffer Brothers are planning out more seasons, Levy said:

Yes. The answer is yes and yes. We definitely are hopeful to go several more seasons. And the plan is to continue with this set of characters while introducing a few critical key new ones next season. So I'll just say that a lot of the big mysteries get answered at the end of season one, but we are very much kind of unearthing new problems and questions that merit future stories and future investigation in the most enjoyable way. So we are in love with our cast and our characters.

We still have so many questions about the finale and yes, even more ideas for season two!

Not Even Jena Malone's Baby Could Distract Us From Her Engagement Ring

We spot one on our feed nearly every day: an excited "I'm engaged" picture posted by one our friends, meant to show off their rock and announce their happy news. But sorry, ladies - no announcement could possibly be cuter than the one Jena Malone posted to Instagram, stating she said yes to longtime boyfriend Ethan DeLorenzo. The actress opted for a double-whammy with her ring pose, giving us a peek at the diamond on her hand as well as her baby boy, Ode Mountain DeLorenzo Malone.

While the ring was a bit out of focus, we can still tell it's a stunner purely by its size (large), the way it sparkled, and the classic cut. Scroll through to get a good view as we wait for Jena show that baby off (and by that, we mean the ring) on the red carpet.

These Unseen Photos of Princess Diana's Wedding Dress Are Straight Out of a Fairy Tale

Princess Diana was so stylish, her classic fashion sense is still admired to this day. But her wedding dress - oh, her wedding dress - was straight out of a fairy tale. The iconic design, finished with a long train, pouf sleeves, lace ruffles, and a delicate scalloped hemline, was created by Elizabeth and David Emanuel and completed with a magnificent veil that outdid Diana's fanciest hats.

Now, never-before-seen photographs from Diana and Prince Charles's wedding, which took place at Buckingham Palace on July 29, 1981, have surfaced. The pictures were taken by an assistant to English photographer Lord Patrick Lichfield and feature incredibly gorgeous angles of Diana's gown. We're not surprised that the images have left the fashion world abuzz. Reminisce with us on the anniversary of the late princess's death.

Princess Diana Was the Ultimate '80s Style Icon, and These Pics Are Proof

This week brought a ton of nostalgia as Prince George started nursery school in England and many royal watchers thought back to images of young Prince William, George's dad, marking the same milestone back in the '80s.

With that decade on our minds, we couldn't help reminiscing about William's mother, Princess Diana, and how her style perfectly encapsulated so much that was wacky and wonderful about '80s style. We did a bit of digging to find 11 photos of the late princess that pretty much sum up the era - think blazers, big collars, and so much silk.

Not only did he profess his love for her on live TV, but the pair even walked off the stage together hand in hand.

Having Fun Is Essential to Fitness Success: Here's How

Pulling myself out of bed at 6:14 a.m. to catch the 6:29 bus to make a 7 a.m. cardio class would've sounded absolutely effing nuts if you had proposed the idea to me a couple years ago.

That's because working out never sounded fun to me - in fact, it sounded kind of miserable. I didn't know of anyone actually enjoying their workouts; they were just doing it to lose weight, be skinny, or reach some kind of body goal. And when they did work out, they were sweaty, tired, and often quite sore. I never saw the fun side of fitness, which is super unfortunate.

I look at classes like SoulCycle and events like the Nike Women's Half Marathon as my "gateway drug" to fitness, because they have the essential ingredients that had been missing; they had the factor that drew me in and kept me firmly planted in the fitness world: fun!

It might sound silly, but fun is essential to breaking into fitness for the first time, setting up good habits, and staying healthy consistently. Here's how.

Overcoming Fear

One of the biggest obstacles to getting into a workout is fear. Fear of failure, fear of not being able to keep up, fear of judgment. Want to know what counters fear? The idea of having fun. Aerialist and circus performer Ashley Vargas does death-defying stunts as her form of staying active, and how does she overcome that fear? By reminding herself that no matter how scary her activity might seem, it's going to be way more fun.

Find something that seems more fun than scary; I lived by that principle when I signed up for my first half-marathon. Had I ever run anything longer than the mandatory PE-class mile? No. Had I ever been an athlete? Absolutely not. But I signed up because that event looked so fun, and there were Tiffany necklaces, and the experience was in a cool city, and I could go up with my girlfriends and make a weekend of it . . . the list goes on. Fun helped me overcome a scary obstacle of running an intimidatingly long race; fun duped me into becoming a half-marathoner, and I've never looked back.

Staying Motivated

It's much harder to drag yourself to the gym when you're not having fun and you don't enjoy your workout. Fun will motivate you on days when losing weight doesn't sound as appealing anymore or when you don't care about what your body looks like. A fun exercise will give you something to be excited about, even in the toughest of times. On days when you're losing steam, something that sounds fun will always pick you back up and give you something to look forward to.

Think about having a really long, hard day at work - then next on the agenda is a workout you don't love. How motivated are you to get out there and exercise? You're probably getting in the car and going straight home to the couch, right? Conversely, if it's a workout that brings you a lot of joy and makes you feel good, it'll be the bright spot at the end of the day and a total pick-me-up, not something you'd blow off.

Staying Consistent

Remember that feeling when you were a little kid and you were so excited about something happening the next morning, you couldn't sleep? Whether it was Christmas morning or your parents were taking you to Disneyland, you simply couldn't keep your eyes closed past 5 a.m. The same concept applies to a fitness style or class you're excited about. What will make you excited? A new type of class or one that you just love so much you can't wait to go back?

For me, treating myself to a Friday morning SoulCycle class with one of my favorite instructors (and, you know, maybe getting a Philz Coffee after class) is enough to pull me out of bed consistently at 6 a.m., at least once a week.

Find that form of exercise that you love, something that feels so electric and exciting. You'll go back again and again and again. No more need to make excuses to blow off workouts; you'll be booking your schedule solid with your new favorite activity.

Opening You Up to MORE Fitness

Like I said, the fun stuff is the gateway drug. If you had dropped me into a competitive, traditional cycling class two years ago, I would've run right out of the studio, tripping on my cycling shoes. But because I tried a fun, dance-oriented format that really meshed with my personality, I got comfortable with movement in a way that was exciting, not a punishment.

And that's just the thing: working out should never feel like a punishment. You should only be moving in a way that makes your body feel good . . . and that makes your brain feel good, too! Finding the right exercise can take some trial and error, but it's so important to keep trying. Even yogi Kathryn Budig told POPSUGAR that she hated her first yoga class - and now she's one of the world's most popular yoga teachers. "I really believe there's a teacher and style for everyone; it's just a matter of patience. Just keep trying," she said.

After you find that one workout you love and start getting more comfortable with exercise, you'll open the door to more workouts. You'll find something else that you love and start to think, "Wow, how am I supposed to choose between hip-hop cardio and aerial yoga?!"

Did I ever think that fitness would be my favorite activity? Hell. No. The me of two years ago would've laughed at the concept. But because I found the classes and activities that were exceptionally fun, exciting, and motivating (enough for me to get out of bed at 6 a.m. consistently), I've turned my life around, gotten in the best shape of my life, and set myself up for the healthiest future. You can do the same!

People Are Freaking Out Over These Beyoncé Photos That Are 13 Years Apart

Beyoncé is many things - a singer, a dancer, an artist, a mother, an icon - but, as it turns out, she is also a wonderful, majestic freak of nature. The "Hold Up" singer captivated everyone's attention on Sunday when she performed her album Lemonade at the MTV Video Music Awards in Madison Square Garden in New York City. While she owned the stage while belting out her latest hits, she also made a few more appearances to accept her awards for best female video and video of the year. And while she donned many lavish outfits during the night, one gold pantsuit with a sparkly cape caught everyone's attention the most. The ensemble closely resembled one she wore during the 2003 VMAs, which was the year she made her first solo performance after parting ways with Destiny's Child, and it didn't take long before people noticed the lack of change in the 13 years from then until now. Long story short, Beyoncé doesn't age. See the comparison above to see for yourself!
