This Playboy Playmate's Photo Body Shaming a Woman at the Gym Is Wrong on So Many Levels
Model and Playboy Playmate Dani Mathers, 29, is facing backlash after sharing a photo to Snapchat that ridicules a fellow gym-goer's body. While at her gym in Los Angeles, Mathers took an unsolicited photo of a woman changing in the locker room. She captioned the photo with, "If I can't unsee this then you can't either." Moments later, Mathers shared a selfie reacting to the photo with her hand placed on her mouth, presumably in shock or disgust.
The egregious photo has since been shared by The Daily Mail and various other sources and has thus sparked a pretty enraged conversation. First of all, taken without the woman's knowledge, the photo is absolutely unacceptable and - quite frankly - maybe illegal.
On an ideological level, however, it also discourages people from going to the gym, working out, and just living their lives out of fear that an onlooker should mock them. It is body shaming at its worst.
After receiving criticism on social media, Mathers deleted the snaps and issued a public apology . . . also on Snapchat. In the video available on The Daily Mail, she simultaneously apologized while also claiming that her intentions were not to publicly share the photo. So, she still meant to body shame the woman, but she only meant to send it to her friend? She said,
"I just wanted to acknowledge a photo that I accidentally posted on Snapchat earlier today and let you guys know that that was absolutely wrong, and not what I meant to do. I have chosen to do what I do for a living because I love the female body and I know that body shaming is wrong and that's not what I'm about, that's not the type of person that I am. That photo was taken to be a personal conversation with a girlfriend, and because I am new to Snapchat, I didn't realize that I had posted it and that was a huge mistake."
Since the whole incident, Mathers has deleted all of her social media accounts apart from her Facebook page.

The 1 Thing I Do That Makes Getting Dressed Each Morning Ridiculously Easy
Up until a few months ago, I would stand in front of my closet every morning trying on outfit after outfit. By the time I finally found a shirt I was satisfied with, my bed would be littered with clothing and hangers. By the end of that week? Well, you couldn't even tell I had a bed - it was that bad. I would then spend the weekend rehanging all my clothes, only to go back to the same disastrous cycle Monday morning.
All this changed, however, when I was browsing through a blogger's Snapchat story and spotted something that would make my life a lot easier: a clothing rack, which, according to the blogger, held a few key pieces she wanted to wear that week - a reminder, if you will. I thought the idea was genius. Was this the solution to not only dress better, but get ready quickly, too? After a trip to my nearest Ikea, I picked up a black $10 clothing rack and dragged it home. The installation was super easy and I stationed the rack so it faced the foot of my bed.
Every weekend, I spend 30 minutes or less filling the rack with pieces from my closet I want to wear that week. By only having these options to choose from come Monday morning, I've found that not only has my dressing time been cut down, but I also look better. Instead of rushing every morning to throw something cute together, I have extra time Saturday or Sunday to think about what I want to wear and what options work together. Seeing these items on the rack, within my line of vision, also makes me excited to wear them. Who knew a rack would be this useful?
This simple change also made me realize which items I constantly reach for and reminded me of the clothes I had forgotten about. Bonus points: my bed has remained clothing-free. In case you need further validation that the rack idea actually works, Kylie Jenner also shared that she, too, has one for style inspiration. "I always hang in my room what I'm into for the week," she wrote on Snapchat.
If you're struggling with what to wear in the mornings, I recommend investing in a rack. It seems silly, but once you have one it will change your life - or, at the very least, your style.

Looks like Pokémon Go isn't all fun and games after all. The first reported crash that occurred while playing the game took place in Auburn, NY, late Tuesday night, according to Auburn's The Citizen.
A 28-year-old man from the suburb ran off the road and crashed into a tree Tuesday evening. Upon arrival, police officers questioned the young man who openly admitted to playing the game while driving behind the wheel. According to Auburn police, the driver walked away from the incident but "sustained lacerations to the leg and was disoriented."
This comes a week after the widely popular game dropped and took the world by storm. It is also a week shy of the hoax that went viral, bringing many to believe a man who was playing Pokémon Go in Japan caused a major highway accident. (Thus creating #DontPokemonGoandDrive.)
As presented on the loading page of the app, "Remember to be alert at all times. Stay aware of your surroundings." Accompanying this helpful hint is a nice Gyarados depicting what could happen should you not. The loading screen is clearly not joking.
Many police departments have issued warnings against the dangers of the game, including but not limited to:
- Do not trespass on private property when trying to "catch" a Pokémon.
- Travel in groups in public/well-lit locations.
- Know where your kids are going when playing the app and set limits on where they can go.
- Know your surroundings and pay attention to where you're going and who's around you.
So, as you're on your journey to becoming a Pokémon master, remember it is a real world out there - safety first, before you catch 'em all.

Playing Pokémon Go is full of decisions you need to make - like when to catch a Pokémon, which one to start with, and how to level up - matters any fan knows are serious. Of course, the ultimate choice might be what nickname to give your Pokémon, an idea one player decided to have a lot of fun with by using autocorrect.
Twitter user Adnelle tweeted a series of photos on July 8 of how she's using autocorrect to name her Pokémon. As you can imagine, the results are hilarious. It's lonely out here for those of us who have never - and likely will never - download and play Pokémon Go. In a matter of a week, the augmented reality game has completely taken over the lives of children and full-grown adults alike.
Pokémon Go is not without its positive attributes. Due to the nature of the game, it's encouraged people to get outside and walk around, it's helped people with anxiety and depression, and, yes, it's prevented actual murder from taking place. Whew.
Despite all of that, I still don't really care to play it. I don't feel the need to decode its rules or muster up the patience to get through regular freezes and crashes. If you're like me, you can probably relate to the upcoming sentiments.

Everything About the Studio Ghibli Exhibit in Japan Is AMAZING - See the Pics!
Studio Ghibli fans know just how magical and uplifting the movies are. It brings a sense of wonder to the films (and your life!) that almost no other franchise can do. It's why fans are regularly obsessed with gifts, tattoos, and cafes geared toward the animation studio. Well, now you can add one more activity to your bucket list: an amazing Studio Ghibli exhibit opened in Japan that has everything you could ever want to see.
The exhibit, called Ghibli Expo: From Nausicaä to its latest film, The Red Turtle, opened its doors on July 7 and runs through Sept. 11. It's located at the Roppongi Hills skyscraper in Japan, with tickets costing around $17. Anyone who visits will find posters, merchandise, and fun Ghibli treasures - and visitors will be able to experience things like posing with a real-life Catbus, view a suspended airship from Castle in the Sky, and more.
Fans will see more than 2,000 pieces of Studio Ghibli items, with no apparent order - an action done on purpose by Suzuki Toshio, a producer at the animation studio. "There are around 2,500 items on display, but they are not arranged chronologically starting from Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind," Toshio said to Nippon. "Instead, we just present everything in a haphazard way, just like memories are arranged in a filmgoer's mind."

1 Badass Mom Just Filmed Her Own C-Section Delivery
Plenty of people on the internet have no problem sharing very deep parts of their personal lives, and because of that, we've seen a couple of amazing live birth videos. However, this particular clip is filmed not by a partner, photographer, or nurse, but by the mother herself. She whipped out her iPhone during her own C-section delivery and shared the emotional footage of her baby girl being born for all the world to see.
