Minor issues, sure, but if you're bilingual, you know it doesn't end there. Keep reading for a list of the everyday situations you probably also face - bilinguals, unite!

The Remarkable Way 1 Strong Mom Is Preparing Her Little Girl For Her Impending Blindness
Cailee Herrell has substantially less time than most to see the world.
Despite being diagnosed with a rare genetic disease that causes rapid vision loss, the 6-year-old girl is determined to take in as many sights as possible before going completely blind. When Cailee was first diagnosed with Familial Exudative Vitreoretinopathy at just 2 years old, her mom, Catrina Frost, sought answers from a friend who had also lost her vision.
"I can't imagine what it's like and so I asked her if it was just black," Catrina told the Daily Mail. "She told me it wasn't because she has memory vision, so if I say I'm wearing a yellow shirt, her mind will see it." Catrina quickly realized from her friend's experience how important it is to utilize the time Cailee has left with her eyesight to make lasting impressions that will be what she can draw upon once the irreversible damage to her retina is done.
"[My friend's] memory bank is full and that's why we created the sighting seeing bucket list - it's not just adventures but it's important for her future," said Catrina. "I want to give Cailee as much as possible - and not just introduce her to the rainbow colors, but give her terracotta and crimson."
This visual bucket list is filled with major activities like going to Disneyland and seeing the ocean for the first time, as well as simple childhood experiences like going to camp.
"When Cailee was just 3 she reminded me, 'Girls are tough, mom,'" said Catrina. "Whether she has vision or not I want her to grow up happy, healthy, successful, and to become an independent woman."
According to This Gap Kids Ad, Girls Are Social Butterflies and Boys Are Little Scholars
It's been just a few months since Gap came under fire for one of its kid clothes ads, but this time around, people seem to be even more outraged by a suggestion Gap has made. In a Gap UK ad featuring a young girl and boy, the girl is labeled a "Social Butterfly" dressed in a preppy outfit and a cat-ear headband while the boy is pictured in an Albert Einstein graphic tee and is labeled a "Little Scholar."
Besides the fact that the ad appears sexist, suggesting that little boys are scholars while girls are the chatty ones in class who make all of the friends, the graphic tee actually spells "Einstein" wrong, switching around the "I" and "E." Needless to say, Twitter users have been openly sharing their opinions of the ad since its email release last weekend.

You've Totally Seen Priyanka Chopra's Dress Before - on a Disney Princess
One look at Priyanka Chopra at the 2016 Accessories Council's ACE Awards and we subconsciously started humming songs from Beauty and the Beast: the Quantico star, dressed in a strapless yellow Jason Wu number, reminded us of a modern-day Belle in the best way. Only this time, "Belle" paired her dress with strappy silver Aquazzura heels and a statement ring and skipped those big gold earrings in favor of an ear cuff.
Priyanka's outfit was both a Disney-lover's dream and fit for the red carpet, but we could easily picture her wearing it for date night or to a wedding. So if you're ready to take a note from this style star, scroll through to see her outfit, then shop a similar yellow dress for yourself.

Why It's OK to Care About Celebrity News and "Real Issues" at the Same Time
We've all been there - you scroll through Facebook, you stumble upon an article, and before you can even click in to read and judge it for yourself, you spot it: the inevitable "Who cares?" sitting atop the list of comments like a harbinger of hostility. It's typically followed by an effusive reply: "You, since you took time to comment!," which feels like vindication but really just opens a whole new can of worms. This trifecta of passive aggression is finally rounded out with some variation of "This is news?," "Focus on the real issues!," or "There are more important things going on in the world right now."
This bothers me for a few reasons, none of which involve the fact that it's literally my job to care about and cover those so-called "unimportant" things. It is, of course, entirely possible to care about more than one thing at the same time. Our brains can process, store, and maintain an incredible amount of information; that's why you can walk and chew gum at the same time, or worry about world hunger while also wondering what you're going to eat for lunch that day. But this sentiment also implies that only hard, serious news is "important," and ignores the reality: that it's just really, really exhausting to be focused on the "real issues" all the time.
It implies that only hard, serious news is "important" and ignores the reality: that it's just really, really exhausting to be focused on the "real issues" all the time.
The past two years have been pretty rough, both mentally and emotionally, where the news is concerned: I personally am simultaneously stressed out about everyday life things like succeeding at work, paying bills on time, and maintaining personal relationships while also dealing with the added anxiety of mass shootings, police brutality, rape culture, natural disasters, and Donald Trump becoming president. On top of dealing with street harassment and the possibility of being hit by a Muni bus while walking in the city, I also have to consider the chances of my family members being racially profiled by police and my friends traveling abroad being caught in a terrorist attack. There are "real issues" that plague us every day in our families, our friend groups, our romantic relationships, and our neighborhoods. I'm well aware of the "real issues." I'm fully caught up on the "actual news." And like many other people, I'm f*cking drained.
That is precisely why, when a famous couple gets engaged or divorced, a superhot actor goes shirtless on the beach, or Beyoncé shares a cute photo of Blue Ivy on Instagram, we should let ourselves care about it. We should give ourselves (and each other) the freedom and space to get excited and express enthusiasm about celebrity news, because it offers a respite from all the completely depressing things going on - at least until another completely depressing thing happens.
As Cheryl Strayed once wrote: "There are so many things to be tortured about, sweet pea. So many torturous things in this life." Life isn't easy, and we all need something to help us through it. For some people, it's yoga and meditation; for others it's reading about all the women Leonardo DiCaprio has dated, poring over photos of Prince George, or watching the drama unfold between Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift. The best part is that there's room for all of it; you can support the Black Lives Matter movement while also hoping that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner get back together, and you can follow the presidential election with the same fervor as you follow Chrissy Teigen's Instagram account.
The next time somebody tries to make you feel bad for essentially taking a break from the "more important things going on in the world," calmly remind them that as a living, breathing, human person, you are fully capable of grasping both world news and pop culture headlines. When it comes to what you turn to for self-care (especially in trying times), you just need to do you. At the end of the day: who cares?
Why Most Women Aren't Brave Enough to Cut Their Hair
It took me two decades to be comfortable with the idea of cutting my hair. I've been called a tomboy many times. I took little interest in cosmetics or fashion growing up, and often wore men's undershirts and pants (more pockets!). My long hair seemed like a security blanket of passable femininity. I wasn't brave enough to lose the locks and reconcile what "looking like a woman" meant to me.
Like many of the women in my family, I was born with thick, shaggy strands that occasionally grew long enough to sit on. Though I didn't know a ton of girls or women that had short hair, I had watched GI Jane and Empire Records and was tempted to go as short as Demi Moore and Robin Tunney. But I still had reservations: could I pull it off? Would I have to wear LOTS of makeup to emphasize my feminine features?
In my early 20s, I surrendered. After a humid Summer of trying to tame my waves, I found a picture of my mother from the late '80s rocking a badass curly bob. So, I decided to cut off 16 inches of hair. With my new style, I got tons of compliments, which melted away my initial fears.
I have worn a pixie for years now and love it. The lower-maintenance look fits my laid-back personality better. Though my insecurities about being perceived as feminine are long gone, there are a few significant differences in how others treat me when I have short strands.

Rachel, who rocked a chic pantsuit, looked almost identical to her teenage daughter, while little Tallulah looked adorable in a grey skirt and white shirt. Zac Efron Will "Never Be Able to" Date, Also Couldn't Get Any Matches on Tinder
Zac Efron may be off the market since his split from stylist Sami Miró in April, but it doesn't sound like he's planning to jump back into the dating pool anytime soon. The Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates star gave an in-depth interview to the UK's Sunday Times this week and opened up about the current state of his love life. "Dating is something I'll never be able to do," he said, adding, "As in the dictionary definition of dating, because one way or another I've impacted that person's life and they'll soon realize it. A date has to be very long to dispel whatever people think of me." Awww - that's kind of sad, right?
Zac also revealed that he opened an account on the Tinder dating app after ending his nearly-two-year relationship, but it wasn't as successful as he thought it would be. "Amazingly, when I signed up for Tinder, nobody swiped me!" he said. "They thought [my profile] was fake." Do you think Zac added any of these sexy shirtless photos to his profile?

The Bachelorette's JoJo and Jordan Are No Longer Hiding Their Love For Each Other
JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers can finally come out of hiding. The duo was not shy about flaunting their newfound romance as they hugged and kissed for the cameras. While the Bachelor Nation may not be to thrilled about her choice, JoJo appeared to be on cloud nine as she took to Instagram that same day and wrote, "Fight for the fairytale, it does exist. 🦄 @jrodgers11." The former NFL quarterback also expressed similar sentiments in not one, but two heartwarming posts. See more of their PDA-filled morning now, then check out what the guys from The Bachelorette said about JoJo's decision.
9 Stars Who've Braved the Deep, Strange World of Tumblr
As time goes on, more and more celebrities continue to flood the complex world of social media. Hundreds of stars are on Instagram, and celebs are going crazy for Snapchat as well. One platform that most stars shy away from, though, is Tumblr. That's because it's kind of a enigmatic network - it's often more about aggregating content from the hundreds of thousands of other accounts out there than pushing your own stuff. Even so, a small and mighty few stars have wandered into the Tumblr void, giving us even more insight into their fascinating private lives.
Jennifer Garner's Latest Red Carpet Outing Confirms Once and For All That She's Aging Backward
Jennifer Garner already slayed one red carpet this week, but clearly that wasn't enough. While attending the premiere of her new movie, Nine Lives, on Monday, the always-stylish actress rocked a fun and flirty red dress that no doubt had heads turning all night at the event. Between that fierce pose and that smize she served photographers, we have a feeling that Tyra Banks would be incredibly proud.
Jen's arrival at the movie premiere is just the latest in a long string of appearances she's made recently, including a flawless turn at a charity gala and quite a few cute and carefree daily outings. The Latest Place Pregnant Women Are Being Told to Avoid ASAP
Pregnant women and their significant others have officially been advised to stay away from a community north of downtown Miami where the number of confirmed Zika cases is actively rising.
The Centers for Disease Control made this unprecedented travel warning after 10 additional people, bringing the total to 14, have been infected with the virus from local mosquitoes. According to the CDC's director, Dr. Tom Frieden, this is the first time Americans have been advised not to travel to an area within the United States out of concern of contracting an infectious disease.
"We wish we had all the answers, but the fact is this is a new phenomenon," Frieden said during a news conference. "We continue to learn each day about Zika."
For couples who are pregnant or trying to conceive and live near the active transmission area, the CDC recommends that both males and females use protective clothing and repellent to protect themselves against mosquito bites. They also warn that these couples should use sexual protection for the rest of the pregnancy.
The CDC is also advising any pregnant women who live locally or who have traveled to that area to be tested both during their first and second trimester - even if they're showing no symptoms. These couples should also partake in only safe sex through the length of their pregnancy.
For those who are trying to conceive but have visited the affected area, the CDC advises that they wait at least eight weeks after they return. Men with symptoms should postpone trying for at least six months.
