8 Simple Ways to Drink More Water in 2017

Drinking more water is an awesome New Year's resolution. It's attainable, simple, and more than necessary for our health! By staying hydrated, you're helping your body function better - this includes having more energy, better moods, clearer skin, and even a better shot at weight loss. Use these simple tricks and tips to stay on your hydration goals in 2017.

  1. Make it an accessory. Get yourself a water bottle that's so cute, you'll want to bring it everywhere like an accessory. Maybe it's a palm-printed S'well, a rose gold Drop bottle, or a sweet spiked blush pink Bkr.
  2. Get smart. Get a smart bottle with reminders, like the Thermos Smart Lid that connects to your Fitbit app (and has its own app, if you don't have a Fitbit) to track sips taken, total ounces, and more. You could try the Hidrate Spark that glows when you need to drink more or the STYR Labs Smart Bottle that also tracks your electrolyte needs.
  3. Make swaps. Each time you reach for a soda or juice, swap for water. Can't do it all the time? Do it at least once a day. You can also make it a rule to only order H20 when you're at a restaurant - no soda, tea, or juice!
  4. DIY reminders. Make yourself a jug or bottle that challenges you to drink a certain amount by a certain time. Have you seen the hilarious water jug challenge on Pinterest with the Kendrick Lamar lyrics? You need to see it. Make your own with time-stamped level lines up the side of a jug or bottle with whatever words speak to you. Not into DIY? Try one from Etsy.
  5. Infuse. Add some fruit or herbs to your water to mix it up. It'll make this challenge a little more fun and a lot more flavorful. We like the Fitfuser water bottle with some sliced strawberries and pineapple in the infusing chamber.
  6. Set alarms. This might feel annoying at first, but after a while you'll be conditioned! Set alarms on your phone throughout the day to remind yourself to drink more water.
  7. Pregame your meals. Except not with alcohol. Drink a glass of water before every meal - this can also help regulate your appetite and keep you from overeating. Win-win!
  8. Follow the one-to-one rule. Whether it's with alcohol or coffee, balancing both these dehydrators out with water will do your body (and brain) a favor, all while keeping you on track for your New Year's resolution. For every glass of wine or cup of coffee you have, "water back" it and drink at least eight ounces of water.

8 Nude Lipsticks That Kim Kardashian Actually Wears

Kim Kardashian has many signature aspects to her now-iconic look: her lush lashes, her chiseled cheekbones, and (of course) her plump posterior. But anyone hoping to re-create her beauty style would be remiss if they skipped her go-to nude lip. Practically 90 percent of the time, Kim eschews classic reds or vampier tones, instead opting to step out wearing a muted blush tone on her pucker.

Her long-time makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic recently took to the Kim Kardashian app to share his favorite shades. "Everyone knows I love a nude lip," he confessed. "It's been a signature of mine since I started doing makeup and the same goes for Kim! No one rocks a nude like her."

He added, "There is something very sexy and subtle about a nude lip but it has to be the right shade and texture." Dedivanovic explained that he usually mixes several shades together to achieve the right hue. "Kim used to call me the mix master," he joked.

In addition to three of Dedivanovic's top picks, we dug up five more. After all, if you're a big fan of Kim (and her makeup style) like we are, you'll likely want to purchase the exact same products that she's used on her pout! Read on to see eight colors she's actually worn IRL.

A Celebrity Trainer Reveals Her Number 1 Weight-Loss Tip

Hollywood's trainer Jeanette Jenkins is called upon by celebrities like Alicia Keys and Pink to give a kickass workout and total-body conditioning. But her number one rule with clients? "NO. NEGATIVE. SELF TALK. EVER!"

Jeanette told POPSUGAR that it's the number one way to derail you from your goals. "With your appearance, to what your doing - just no negative self talk! It's very damaging."

She also noted that there are enough external factors bringing in negativity, so personal strength is incredibly important. "I feel like there's enough things out there in society that are just waiting to bring you down, or people who will say something mean to you. In our industry [fitness], everyone wants to critique everything already," she said.

Her advice? "Just always embrace who you are and where you are at this time," she said. "It might be 'that time of the month,' and I might have an extra 10 pounds 'cuz I'm bloated, but I'm gonna work those 10 pounds! It is what it is!!"

It's important for Jeanette as a trainer to show herself the same respect she hopes her clients will show themselves - both in and out of the gym. "I always try to carry that torch," she said. "If I want women to love themselves, I have to love myself also. Nothing replaces the beauty of you loving yourself; loving yourself is so magnetic and uplifting, and people are attracted to that light."

Ryan Reynolds in Dad Mode Will Make You Even More Attracted to Him

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's adorable daughters made their first official public appearance on Dec. 15 when their dad was honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in LA. Even though the Deadpool actor has been pretty open (sometimes too open) about parenting on social media, the ceremony was the first time we've actually seen him in dad mode - and let's just say, we're loving it. Aside from sharing some loving glances with his wife, he also gave a shout-out to his sweet little family in his speech, telling Blake, "You've given me two of the most incredible children I've ever hoped to have. . . . You made me the father of my dreams when I thought I only had fun uncle potential." Here's hoping the two will share more sweet family photos in the future, because their daughters are just too precious! See some of the doting dad's best moments from the event here.

9 GIFs That Prove Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively Have a Little Rock Star on Their Hands

For the past few years, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have only shared rare glimpses of their oldest daughter, James. On Dec. 15, however, the 2-year-old made her triumphant public debut while attending her dad's Hollywood Walk of Fame Ceremony. Not only did we discover that James is practically twins with her mom but also that she's clearly inherited the showbiz gene. While Blake held onto her little sister, James stole the show, relieving her dad of his microphone and climbing up on the small stage while her parents chased after her. In other words, she could give Prince George a serious run for his money when it comes to hamming it up in public. See every one of James's cutest moments at the event ahead!

This Is the Stupidest Mistake You Can Make at Whole Foods

I recently had the misfortune of discovering the most expensive item in the ready-made hot foods section of Whole Foods. Knowing everything is priced by the pound, I thought I was being smart and conscientious when I filled up the smallest container with mashed potatoes. "They surely couldn't charge more than $5 for a small box of potatoes, right?" I told myself.

I proudly walked the items up to the cash register, and the cashier weighed my tiny box. My stomach flopped when "$14" appeared on the screen. "Excuse me, sir. Did you accidentally rest your hand on the scale? I couldn't possibly have just scooped $14 worth of potatoes into that container," I said, trying to ease my discomfort. He chuckled and shook his head, "There's no mistake. The hot bar is the 'Whole' in 'Whole Paycheck,' hon." There was no chance I could abandon the container either. Once scooped, must purchase. I simultaneously felt robbed and like a complete idiot.

FYI, everyone, the hot bar is $8.99 a pound. Let it be known that the smallest container fills approximately 1.6 pounds worth of mashed potatoes. Also worth noting, the mashed potatoes from the hot bar are the same price in the hot deli: $8.99. I'm never, ever, ever going back to the Whole Foods hot bar . . . that is, until the 365 by Whole Foods store opens in my neighborhood and the hot bar is priced by the container size, not by weight. The same container at a 365 store would cost me $5.50, a MUCH more reasonable price for mashed potatoes.

Joey Lawrence Gushes About Being a Dad and Reveals the Best Christmas Memories With His Brothers

Image Source: Getty / Araya Diaz

Joey Lawrence first stole our hearts with his roles in Blossom and Brotherly Love, but his latest role is extra sentimental. The father of two stars in Wish For Christmas, a heartwarming tale that gets back to the true meaning of the holiday season. POPSUGAR had a chance to talk with the actor and he filled us in on his own Christmas traditions, his favorite childhood memory with his two brothers, Matthew and Andrew, and how being a dad to his daughters, Charleston, 10, and Liberty, 6, makes the holiday season even more special. See his sweetest quotes below.

POPSUGAR: Tell me a little bit more about your movie, Wish For Christmas. What drew you to this project?
Joey Lawrence: It's a family-based film and it's also faith-inspired. I like to do a few of these because I'm a man of faith, but also for my kids to watch because a lot of the stuff I do, they're young and they really can't watch it. I'm also a big fan of Christmas - I always have been. It's my favorite holiday of the year. I know it's become quite commercialized over the years, but I still love it just the same. We're in the throes of Santa Claus with my little ones, so it's just a lot of fun.

"The core of the holidays is to bring people together, to forget about all the craziness in the world and just get back to the basics."

PS: What was your favorite part about playing this character?
JL: I don't get to play dads too much. I just turned 40, but I haven't crossed over into that plateau. I'm a dad in real life, so it was nice to be able to play one.

PS: What message do you hope this movie sends to viewers?
JL: That you're never too cool for your family. Holidays are an incredible time of year. Yes, they're hectic and stressful at times, but the core of the holidays is to bring people together, to forget about all the craziness in the world and just get back to the basics and realize what it truly is about, which is about relationships and family and love and being together and counting on the blessings we have. We focus so much on the have nots, and I think it's important to focus on the things you do have.

Image Source: Getty / Angela Weiss
PS: Like you said, this movie is all about family. Do you have any special holiday traditions with your family?
JL: We are just that - we are traditional. I grew up - and even in the midst of all the working - my mother always made sure that we came home to Pennsylvania. We would always be home for the holidays, and I've continued that tradition. Like I said, I have a 10- and 6-year-old who are in the throes of Santa Claus, so we make sure we're home for Christmas morning. They run down the stairs to see what Santa brought them, and then we go to my mom's for Christmas Day and we have a big meal and we exchange presents with the extended family, and it's just a beautiful day. We try to keep it as traditional as possible. That is our tradition - keeping it traditional.

PS: How has being a dad changed how you celebrate Christmas?
JL: I was always obsessed with the holidays. I still get excited about Christmas morning. Having kids has allowed me to relive the prime Christmas morning experience. I remember it like it was yesterday - going to bed with pins and needles in your stomach and you know Santa is coming and you think you hear him, and every time you try to fall asleep you're like, "Did I hear it? Was that the sleigh on the roof?" And then finally passing out and then waking up a God-forsaken hour in the morning and going, "It's time!" and waking your parents up. Getting to relive that from the other side - when you've been up all night, and you've been setting everything up, and you get two hours sleep and they come in at 5:50 in the morning with the energy of nuclear weapons - enjoying that from the other side is pretty, pretty cool.

Image Source: Getty / David Becker
PS: What is the best gift you've ever received for Christmas?
JL: Well, there's been a few of them, but I think one of the best ones ever was we went down for Christmas morning and we opened up all the presents and there was this envelope from Santa Claus, and he said, "There's one more gift, you have to find it." Andy, my youngest sibling, hadn't been born yet, it was just Matt and I, and we both got this letter. We started racing around the house and we finally ended up at the garage door and in the garage were two go-karts. We couldn't believe it. We lived on an acre, so we were able to take them outside, and we rode those go-karts for about eight hours. It was the greatest thing ever. Santa really kicked butt that year, for sure.

PS: What is your favorite Christmas memory with your brothers?
JL: They're all just so great. Like I said, it's hanging the stockings with those guys and going to bed - Matt and I shared a room for a long time - and wishing each other a Merry Christmas and saying, "I can't believe Santa is coming," and the innocence of youth - it's just a good time. The innocence that you get to experience is so short. I know some parents are realists, and they're like, "Oh, I'm not going to lie to my kids," but I'm not lying, I'm just allowing my children to be children. I think the realities of the world will hit you very quickly. If you're lucky, you get a decade and a couple of years to experience life without the worries. I'm going to let my children hang onto that for as long as possible. Even relating it back to a faith-based thing, if you think about the joy that Santa Claus brings to these children, I relate it to the joy of the birth of God's son, Jesus. It is really metaphoric. They will take that joy with them for the rest of their lives, and I know that because I have.

Here's Another Harry Potter Detail We Can't Believe We Never Noticed Before

J.K. Rowling always surprises us with the amount of detail she poured into Harry Potter, and it feels like every day we learn something new about the series. Reddit user SunshineallDay's fan theory provides more evidence of how much Rowling hid in her books.

It might be hard to catch when you're first reading, but look a little closer and you'll see it. The fun Easter egg shows how Hermione's character learned Wizard Baruffio wasn't the most intelligent in The Sorcerer's Stone from Professor Flitwick. Later in The Order of the Phoenix, Harry and Ron are tempted to drink Baruffio's Brain Elixir before their O.W.L.s, but Hermione clearly recalls their lesson and pours the drink down the toilet. An image from the books highlighting these two passages is below.

It's a good thing Hermione confiscated it before you could buy it, Harry from harrypotter

As if we needed another reminder of how sharp Hermione is! Really, what impressed us most about this is Rowling's memory - and that we can keep rereading the books and find more fun coincidences like this.

27 Holiday Movies You Can Stream on Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and HBO Now

If you've abandoned your cable but still embrace Netflix and other online streaming platforms, you have tons of options when it comes to holiday movies. After all, cold - perhaps even snowy, depending on where you live - weather is coming our way, and there's nothing quite like tucking in with a feel-good holiday film. Before you resign yourself to renting something, take a look at the free (with subscription) movies you can watch right now. All the titles link to where your can watch them!

Netflix

Netflix is where you'll find the biggest titles. Love Actually is fortunately still available for your annual viewing, but there are also classics like White Christmas.

Hulu

Hulu doesn't have a large selection, but they do have The Brady Bunch's Christmas movie. They also have a ton of TV shows in their catalog, so you can scavenge for the holiday episodes. If it's a movie you're after, there are a handful worth checking out.

Amazon

Unfortunately, holiday movies aren't Amazon's strong suit. You can rent or buy the major ones to stream, but if you just want to watch something that comes free with your Prime subscription, you're limited to some pretty cheesy-sounding titles.

HBO Now and HBO Go

What HBO lacks in quantity it makes up for in quality. The five holidays movies they have are all great ones, including Reindeer Games, which yes, is a Christmas movie.

5 Warm and Cozy Reasons I Love Celebrating Christmas Eve

Singer, actress, fashion designer, entrepreneur, writer, and mom of two Thalia shares her parenting, lifestyle, fashion, and beauty tips as POPSUGAR Latina's contributor.

I have always loved Christmas Eve because it brings back so many memories! It reminds me of home when my dad was still alive, my mom was always cheery, and when some of my sisters were getting married. I remember when we decorated the Christmas tree together, and our cat wanted to keep us company wherever we were in the house. It was also the time when it started getting a bit cold in Mexico City, and we brought out the warm, cozy clothes. My mom used to knit us the cutest scarves and hats. And the food and its smells were always so amazing! It really is one of my favorite times of the year, but it is also a very emotional and nostalgic time for me. Here are some of the things that are never missing during my Christmas celebrations:

Mexican Food

On Christmas Eve, Mexicans make it a point to prepare an assortment of different foods for the family and the friends who may show up. One of those foods that my mother used to prepare, and I still crave, is salted cod. The recipe is a fusion of Mexican and Spanish influences, like many others that were brought over by the Spaniards. Another plate that is delicious and very typical for this time of the year is romeritos. They are small dried shrimp tortitas covered in mole sauce made with ingredients that include potatoes, nopales, almonds, and mulato peppers, infused with romerito sprigs. And we can't forget ponche! It is similar to sangria, but the alcohol is optional and it is served hot. Its ingredients include water, cinnamon sticks, piloncillo (dark brown unrefined cane sugar cubes), guava, and an assortment of other fruits. A perfect drink for chilly holiday nights!

Villancicos

Music is a very important part of life for us Mexicans and Latinos in general, especially during the holidays. It makes us happy and promotes family unity. Villancicos (Christmas carols) and posadas are typical of December. Family and friends get together to sing and bring music and holiday spirit to other members of the community. I remember singing along surrounded by family and lighting up candles to celebrate the true meaning of the season.

Family traditions

Keeping traditions alive helps us keep our memories alive. They are a way of hanging on to memories so you do not forget them over time. Traditions are ways to keep alive those whom we have loved and who gave us life, and those whom we shared wonderful moments with when we were growing up. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to pass on traditions from generation to generation. I find joy in filling my children's eyes, ears, and mouths with the colors of the holiday season, the beautiful Mexican Christmas carols that I used to sing, and the traditional flavors of the food I used to eat when I was a child.

Warmth

I like to spend Christmas in warm weather. It seems typical for many people to spend it in a snowy, cold place, but not for me. I enjoy sunny days and balmy nights during the holidays. That is what we have done for the past several years.

Diversity

Traditions also promote family unity, and we should strive to also create new traditions within the family. In my case, we have made a tradition out of our different traditions. Since my husband grew up in an Italian family, he brought his own Italian traditions to our family, and I brought mine. So, we have created our own traditions from the fusion of those two cultures and those of the country we live in. My children are Italo-Mexican-Americans, and it is a lot of fun to have them experience a multicultural Christmas in which we listen to music from Frank Sinatra, Pedro Infante, and mariachis and eat pasta fra diavolo and Italian-style lobsters, as well as Mexican plates. We still honor our family traditions, but we have found a way of mixing them up in order to create our own, unique spin.

The holiday season is an intimate time for many, filled with a lot of memories that move our emotions and may cause feelings of melancholy and nostalgia, and of sadness when remembering childhood and the way you used to celebrate with your family. I believe that the importance of Christmas relies on looking toward the future with hope. That is why there are presents under the tree, to remind us that life is today, at this moment, and that we have to enjoy it and be happy right now. Yesterday passed, and there is nothing we can do to change it, whilst the future is not here yet. Therefore, may those gifts under the tree make us reflect and make us be present.

It is time to put down our mobile phones, computers, and technology, and share a great meal, interesting conversation, and the smiles that were brought on by our beautiful traditions. Enjoy the holidays thoroughly. Merry Christmas!

The Real Legend of Krampus Is Actually Pretty Terrifying

Just because Halloween is over, it doesn't mean the coldest months of the year can't be scary. There are plenty of scary books to curl up with, and a few more end-of-year horror movies looming, but we're about to give terror a holiday spin. That's right, it's time to talk about the Krampus. It's been almost a year since the horror movie of the same name added itself holiday horror movie canon, but the ancient Christmas demon has been around for centuries. I Did CrossFit 5 Days a Week For 1 Month and This Is What Happened

I don't really want to share half-naked selfies of myself with the world, but I feel compelled to. Because after years and years of working out four to six days a week, running and training for half-marathons, sweating it out in yoga classes, and eating healthy, I have finally caught a glimpse of the kind of transformation I have been wanting ever since I can remember. And it's only been one month.

Before

This might sound like a PSA, but so what? I really do owe it all to CrossFit. I had been wanting to try it for years but through two pregnancies, working, and taking care of my two young kiddos, I just felt like I couldn't carve out the time. It was kind of a lame excuse, actually, and I realized it was high time to make the time and do something for me. So on Mother's Day 2016, I bought myself a $250 On-Ramp course for CrossFit. No it's not culty, yes the workouts are frickin' hard, and yes, the community support really is amazing and was the key to my success.

After completing that course, I decided to go all in and committed to going for one month, five days a week. Here's what happened.

  1. Weight down: I have been the same weight for years, trying to lose those last pesky pounds that hide my muscles and make me look softer than I'd like. I was amazed when I stepped on the scale and realized I was at the weight that I lied about on my driver's license. Down five pounds! I mean, that's huge when you don't have a ton of weight to lose. CrossFit smacked my weight-loss plateau in the face!
  2. Less to pinch: OK, so the scale isn't everything. I also lost at least one inch around my waist. It's not an enormous change, but I can totally tell in the photos because it's the first area of my body my eyes move to whenever I look in the mirror. I have had a belly my entire life it seems, and I can finally see it slimming down and that little muffin top diminishing. I even noticed a little definition in my obliques!
  3. Arm definition: While brushing my teeth a couple weeks in, I happily noticed my biceps bulging but didn't think anything of it until the month was up and people commented on my arms. "What have you been doing?" they asked. Someone else said when they hugged me, my arms felt stronger. Even the Comcast guy who came to fix my cable commented on my "guns." I also noticed more definition in my upper back.

After

  1. Toned thighs: I've always had lean legs, thanks to running and inherited genes from my mom, but they look even more toned and defined. I slipped on a pair of leggings and loved that I could seen my quad muscles popping out a little. Thank you lunges and deadlifts!
  2. Perkier butt: I also inherited a flat butt from my mom, but a month full of squats, wall balls, and kettlebell swings have turned my flat rear into a more shapely, rounder, lifted bum. My husband has noticed, too. Bonus!
  3. More energy: I used to run for an hour in the morning from 6 to 7 a.m., and by late morning/early afternoon, I felt completely drained. My body felt exhausted, my brain felt foggy, and all I wanted was a nap. I craved sugar and chocolate because I thought it'd give me a pick-me-up. Of course, that backfired with an inevitable sugar crash, plus the extra calories didn't help me lose weight. I didn't feel tired once during this month-long CrossFit experiment. Even after getting up at 4:50 to make my 5:45 a.m. classes, I still had more physical and mental energy.
  4. Less hunger: Now this surprised me. I thought all that intense cardio and heavy lifting would leave me insatiably famished. But I felt way less hungry than I did after those hour-long runs. I never ate before those early a.m. classes for fear or puking, and by the time I got home, showered, and started working, I wasn't hungry until 9 or 10. I was also inspired to eat better because I was putting in all this time and energy, and I didn't want to undo all that by devouring half a box of Wheat Thins dipped in peanut butter.
  5. Varicose veins diminished: I thought the bulging blue varicose vein behind my left knee was the oh-so-special badge of honor I shared with moms everywhere. But after four weeks of CrossFit, I swear, it's hardly noticeable. The increased blood flow from all that heart-pumping cardio works magic! I feel way more confident in short shorts and skirts now.
  1. Stronger overall: Carry three bags of groceries on each arm from the car to the house? No problem! Lifting heavier weights for just one month made me stronger and more capable of handling life's challenges. When both kids' heads accidentally collided when reaching for the same flower, CrossFit mommy power came to the rescue and I could bend down and lift 80 pounds worth of kid without my knees giving out with energy left to kiss both boo-boos! Running feels easier, previously difficult yoga poses like One-Legged Crow are doable, and come Winter, I'm excited to see how CrossFit-strong legs tackle the ski slopes.
  2. Confidence: It wears on you when you spend years thinking about your weight while working hard to change your body and not seeing the results you're after. Making a change that actually worked was life changing. I feel more confident and am just overall happier. I also realized that I like pushing myself and since CrossFit encourages you to to get stronger every day, I'm embracing this feeling of pride, and it's inspiring me to keep pushing myself. I see now why people become hooked on WODs. It only took one month, but I'm addicted now, too. I can't wait to see how my body changes in the months to come.

How I Stopped Obsessing About Being Skinny

I've always been passionate about being active, but I'd be lying if I told you that passion wasn't once attached to the passion to be skinny. Skinny is a word I cringe at now, but for most of my life, skinny was everything.

Part familial and part societal pressure, I grew up truly believing that being thin was synonymous with being beautiful. I've been on a diet for most of my life, not because I was overweight, but because the idea of being overweight was always a lingering worry, taunting me in the background. Although I was active, healthy, and toned, I never felt skinny enough, and it haunted me. I truly believed if I was skinny I would be happy and feel more confident.

The first time I ever gained real weight was my freshman year in college. I was ordering in, eating out, and drinking nearly every night. Immediately, I started up with two-a-day cardio sessions, barely ate a bite all day, then binged on a huge late dinner. At the time, I felt like I was being "good" and taking control of my body. I dropped weight so quickly, but it was at the price of my mental clarity, energy, and happiness. It was an unsustainable solution, and I put back on the weight just as quickly as I had taken it off - I knew I had to go about things in a different way. I cleaned up my act, cut out processed foods, and starting doing yoga every day, but I am embarrassed to admit that yoga wasn't my primary form of exercise just because of all the healthy benefits it brought to my life - I saw it as a way to get skinny. A month into committing to a regular yoga practice, I began to acknowledge that my physical fitness was much more than a number on the scale or a body type I idealized. The stronger I felt in my yoga practice, the better I felt in the rest of my life. I stopped being as concerned about the skinny and started wanting more of that strong stuff.

This desire to be strong helped me realize the myth that lifting weights would bulk me up and make me feel unfeminine was just that - a myth. As soon as I unveiled the truth behind the myth, I started lifting and moving through bodyweight moves at home, and I began to see and feel a huge difference in my shape. I stopped stressing into fitting into a certain body type, because I was attaining something stronger, better, and more beautiful than I had anticipated. I was no longer about the number on the scale or the size of my jeans, and I found so much relief in giving up the numbers. Instead of obsessing over a tiny drop on the scale, I started reveling in the new definition I saw in my deltoids. Instead of trying to squeeze into my too-tight college pants, I realized that my backside had a little lift and was filling out my current jeans beautifully.

Once I realized I didn't need to be thin in order to feel whole or content, I felt like I had been handed the keys to the kingdom. I am both thrilled and relieved that what was once referred to as a trend is starting to have some serious staying power. There is so much power in strength, and even more when there's strength in numbers - I'm so ready for even more women to live by this truth! If you can relate to the anxiety I grew up with or you simply feel like the standard of skinny is unattainable (or, honestly, doesn't sound like that much fun), stop being intimidated by the weight room, and try a workout program that supports your strength. If you're anything like me, it will transform your life.
