Hello, Adele Has Officially Arrived at the Grammys
Adele breezed onto the Grammys red carpet like a breath of fresh air on Sunday evening. The singer, who stirred up marriage rumors when she was spotted wearing a gold band on her ring finger last month, stunned in a gorgeous green gown and was all smiles as she made her way down the red carpet and waved to nearby fans. It's set to be a big night for the "Hello" singer; not only will she be taking the stage for a performance that will surely blow us away, but she's also nominated for five awards tonight, including album of the year against Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Drake, and Sturgill Simpson. We're rooting for you, Adele!
Celebrities Are Quickly Turning the Grammys Into a Family Affair
The Grammy Awards brought out some of Hollywood's biggest stars on Sunday night, but it also brought out some of our favorite celebrity families. Not only did songwriter Sean Douglas show up with his famous dad, Michael Keaton, who is presenting during the show, but Diplo also brought along his sons, Lockett and Lazer Pentz, for the event. As if that wasn't sweet enough, Kelly Clarkson has already confirmed that her 2-year-old daughter, River, will be her date. It's safe to say, tonight will be one big family affair.
Fifty Shades Darker: Everything We Know About Christian Grey's Past
The titular character of the Fifty Shades of Grey series, Christian Grey, is many things - billionaire, pilot, businessman . . . he's also "fifty shades of f*cked up," as he so eloquently explains it to his love, Anastasia Steele. Originally left in the dark, Ana is left to wonder why he's a sadist who won't let her touch him, where the burns on his chest came from, why he is so controlling, and other peculiar things about his reserved and unaffectionate behavior. However, in Fifty Shades Darker, he finally begins to open up to his wife-to-be. While both the book, and the film adaptation, give Ana (and fans!) insight into Christian's history, there are still many things left unanswered. Read below to get the full lowdown on Christian Grey's backstory from the books, but be warned: major spoilers ahead!!
Christian Grey was born in Detroit, Michigan to a woman named Ella. Ella, a prostitute, was addicted to drugs and frequently neglected Christian. Ella's pimp (and occasional boyfriend) would visit their house and abuse Christian, slapping him around and burning him with cigarette butts, which we see in the beginning of the Fifty Shades Darker movie.
One day at home, Christian's mother dies of an overdose. Only a child, Christian is unsure of why his mother won't wake up and frequently tries to help her, covering her with blankets and talking to her; he also has no food for days, making him "profoundly hungry." Finally, four days later, the police arrive and discover Christian and his mother.
Christian is taken to the hospital and Grace Trevelyan Grey is the doctor on staff in the emergency room. Now emotionally attached, she and her husband, Carrick Grey, decide to adopt Christian. However, while the paperwork goes through, he's forced to stay with a foster family, which includes a young, Jack Hyde.
When Christian finally moves in with the Greys, he is intimidated by their adoptive son, Elliot. He doesn't talk to his new family for a long time, but begins to open up when his sister, Mia, is adopted. However, the mistreatment and abandonment of his birth mother makes him feel unworthy of love.
As he grows up, Christian begins to experience frequent mood swings and bouts of anger. He takes out his aggression by getting into physical fights with students at school, or anyone else who seems antagonizing. When his actions become dangerous, his parents send him to therapy; however, an interest from his mother's friend, Mrs. Elena Lincoln, is what finally grabs his attention.
At just 15, they begin an affair and she introduces him to the world of BDSM. As her submissive, he is able to relinquish control, feeling safe, comfortable, and free; this helps him channel his emotions in constructive ways. After six years, Elena's husband finds out about their relationship and, furious, beats her to the point of hospitalization, thus ending their affair.
Christian goes away to college, studying economics and politics at Harvard, before dropping out a couple of years later to start his own business. He remained close to Elena, and she even gave him $100,000 of capital to begin Grey Enterprises. Though their relationship remained platonic, she often helped Christian - who continued to practice BDSM, though now as a dominant - choose his submissive partners (most of whom resemble his birth mother, Ella); he has fifteen submissives before he meets Ana.
At the end of Fifty Shades Darker, Christian (now 27) and Ana are living together and engaged to be married. However, you'll have to wait until Fifty Shades Freed hits theaters to see how their story ends (or you could read the book if you're impatient)!
Lea Michele Is the Latest Celebrity to Try the "Pink-Eye" Craze
Lea Michele looked ready for Valentine's Day with her pink eye shadow and matching lip look at the 2017 Grammy Awards.
Pink eyes were one of the biggest Instagram trends of 2016, and now the romantic makeup fad continues to dominate the 2017 red carpet circuit. One of our favorite interpretations was Sophia Bush's electric pink stare at the SAG Awards.
At the Grammys, Lea gave it her own spin. The bright pink eye shadow was like a halo around her eyes, blended out on the top and bottom. Lashes were not overdone (re: no falsies), brows looked natural and lush, and the inner corners of her eyes were accented with white. It was pretty fash-un forward - in a good way! She played up her cheekbones with lots of glowy bronzer and kept it monochrome with pink lips.
When it came to hair, Lea rocked sleek and chic straight strands with a deep side part. She tucked her mane behind her ears as to let her beaded top and vibrant makeup stay in the spotlight.
Keep reading to see more images and angles of Lea's style at the Grammys!
Stop and Stare at the Smoldering Beauty Looks From the Grammys Red Carpet
The musicians attending the Grammys don't reserve daring shows of self-expression for their award-nominated hits. Just one look at the red carpet proves that they also flaunt their creativity via hair and makeup. See for yourself! Read on for Lea Michele's orchid shadow, Adele's signature cat eye, and more glimpses of stunning beauty style.
We Tried the Oreo Beer Everyone's Talking About, and This Is What Happened
Photo styling inspired by Beer Street Journal
After we picked our jaws up off the floor after learning about Oreo beer, our first reaction was to seek it out and try it for ourselves. Would it taste like actual Oreos?! We anticipated that it would, since the beer is made from actual Oreos. "We took our 7 percent robust chocolate milk stout Hornswoggler and conditioned it on hundreds of pounds of Oreo cookies. If you like Oreo cookies, this is a must try," The Veil Brewing Company of Richmond, VA, said in an Instagram post about its cookie-filled creation.
So, like the Oreo fanatics that we are, the POPSUGAR Food editors grabbed a package of Double Stuf Oreos and poured ourselves a glass of the Hornswoggler Oreo Stout, crossing our fingers that the two would taste nearly identical. Getting tipsy from drinking liquified Oreos is the dream, right? We took our first sip, and a few of us simultaneously had one reaction: "Coffee!" The dark beer has an intensely strong espresso flavor, and it's similar to a bitter coffee stout. What we weren't getting was the chocolaty note or, more importantly, the presence of Oreos. We did get a slight hint of Oreos and vanilla in the scent of the beer, though. It's entirely possible we didn't get as much of an Oreo-forward flavor because the beer was shipped to us and therefore was not consumed immediately. "We suggest consuming this beer as fresh as possible for the most intense Oreo character possible," the brewery explained in its Instagram photo.
That's not to say that we were disappointed by the beer. If you're a stout drinker, you'll undoubtedly appreciate the robustness of this beer and enjoy its rich, smooth flavor and mocha-like aftertaste. However, you'll have to wait until Veil decides to brew another batch if you want to get a taste. The cans are now sold out and the brewery only had the beer on tap for a limited time. But not to worry. If you're like us, you'll just stick to the obvious solution: eating Double Stuf Oreos with the beer (or wine) of your choice.

This Is Already Turning Out to Be Selena Gomez's Sexiest Year Yet
Selena Gomez is back from her 2016 hiatus with a vengeance. Not only is the singer working on a new album (and collaborations with Paulina Rubio and possibly Maluma), she also teased a Wizards of Waverly Place reunion, made out with rumored new boyfriend The Weeknd in the streets of Los Angeles, and posed for a now-deleted topless and thong-clad photo - wow, right?
If all of that is any indication, Selena will surely have her hottest year ever. We predict she'll show off an even more revealing sense of style, give us more sultry Instagram selfies and magazine spreads, and probably come out with the most sensual album cover she's yet to give us. Scroll ahead for her sexiest moments so far.
How to Not Hate Salads in the Winter
You know eating more veggies can help you lose weight and give you the fiber and vitamins you need to stay healthy, and you feel more energetic after eating a salad for lunch instead of a bowl of pasta, but the thought of chewing cold, crisp veggies on a chilly Winter's day doesn't appeal to you whatsoever. The next time you make a salad, use these tricks and you'll be craving salads even when the snow is falling outside.
- Add roasted, warm veggies: Who said your salad had to be freezing cold? Top your greens with roasted butternut squash, sweet potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, or peppers. They'll not only bring the temperature up but they'll also make your salad feel more substantial, more like a stir-fry or bowl of soup.
- Go for kale over other greens: Darker and thicker, kale requires more chewing so it feels heartier and more robust than romaine or baby spinach.
- Add cooked grains: This is another way to add warmth to your salad. The added fiber will fill you up and keep you feeling satisfied, and the protein will give you sustained energy. Go for cooked quinoa, farro, or brown rice.
Sweet and Tropical Flat-Belly Salad
- Add warm protein: Whether you like grilled chicken or marinated tofu on your salad, make sure it's warm before placing it on your salad. Warmed-up beans will also make an otherwise cold salad feel more inviting in the Winter.
- Go for warm-flavored, thicker salad dressings: Light salad dressings like lemon vinaigrette are perfect for summertime but not as appealing in the Winter months. Choose creamier dressings like Goddess dressing, and skip the dressing and flavor your roasted veggies with cinnamon or cumin.
- Don't forget the healthy fats: Salads topped with whole grains and protein will make them feel more filling, but you also want to include healthy fats to add to that "stay full for hours" feeling. Mix in avocado to add fiber and creaminess to your veggies, sliced almonds or salted sunflower seeds to add crunch, or chia seeds for a healthy dose of calcium and omega-3s that can reduce inflammation that leads to conditions such as asthma, which tends to flare up in the Winter.
- Have soup or bread, too: If you're not 100 percent feeling your salad, have a cup of steaming veggie chili on the side or a slice of warm avocado toast. You'll get your veggies while also satisfying your Winter cravings.

Pink and Carey Hart first began dating in 2001 after meeting at the Summer X Games, and since then, they've taken their love all over the globe, vacationing in Mexico, Australia, and Paris. While their relationship hasn't been without its fair share of drama (they've broken up twice before), Pink and Carey have worked through their issues, welcomed two kids together, and most recently, celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary. If anything, their time apart has only brought them closer.

- 2003: Pink and Carey broke up.

- 2005: Fortunately, their split was short-lived, as Pink decided to take matters into her own hands and proposed to Carey during his race at the Pro 250 class finals in Mammoth, CA. As Carey came up on his third lap, Pink held up a pit board that read, "Will You Marry Me?" When Carey failed to pull over, she added, "Serious!" to it, and he said, "Yes!"
- 2006: The duo tied the knot six months later in Costa Rica. The ceremony was attended by more than 100 guests, including Lisa Marie Presley, and was held on the beach during sunset at the Four Seasons resort.
- 2008: Two years later, the couple broke up again. Pink addressed the split on her website, writing, "The most important thing for you all to know is that Carey and I love each other so so much. This breakup is not about cheating, anger, or fighting. I know it sounds like cliché bullsh*t, but we are best friends, and we will continue to be."
- 2009: Pink and Carey reconciled, and the BMX biker told People at the time, "We're rebuilding. Sometimes you have to take a couple of steps backwards to move forward."

- 2012–2015: Following Willow's birth, the pair was seen on a handful of fun family vacations and at adorable red carpet outings, including the MTV VMAs and the UNICEF Snowflake Ball.
- 2016: In November, Pink announced she and Carey were expecting their second child with a precious snap of her and Willow on Instagram, writing, "Surprise!" A month later, Pink poked fun at split rumors with a sarcastic Instagram post before giving birth to a beautiful baby boy named Jameson Moon Hart.
- 2017: The pair rang in their 11th wedding anniversary in January, and to celebrate the special milestone, Pink gave Carey a sweet shout-out on Instagram. Along with a shot of them kissing at the 2012 VMAs, she wrote, "Yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum 👅 that's one for every year care bear. I really like you this week. #happyanniversarymylove I'm very lucky to be able to say that you're mine. Thanks for sticking around. 💘"
Meet Sturgill Simpson, the Country Singer Going Up Against Beyoncé and Adele at the Grammys
Looking over the 2017 Grammy nominees, you'll see names like Adele, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Sia, and Ariana Grande. Then, there's Sturgill Simpson. While he's well-known in the country genre, he's not a household name - yet. Not only is he going up against Adele, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, and Drake for album of the year (in addition to country album of the year), he's the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend. That said, it's time to get to know the singer!
While Kentucky-born Simpson formed his first band, Sunday Valley, in 2004, he gained critical attention with his solo album, High Top Mountain, released in 2013. His second album, 2014's Metamodern Sounds in Country Music, did even better, peaking at No. 11 on Billboard's Top Country Albums list. A Sailor's Guide to Earth, the album that earned Simpson his Grammy nomination, was released in April and has been climbing the charts. One of the biggest hits of the album is Simpson's cover of Nirvana's "In Bloom." Listen:
Pretty good, eh? We look forward to seeing more from Simpson, and I'm sure we will if he ends up besting the likes of Keith Urban and Loretta Lynn for best country album! (If Bey or Adele don't take album of the year, there will be rioting in the streets.)
One Foot in at NYFW: Street Style Edition
New York Fashion Week kicked things off on Wednesday at a balmy 65 degrees. As if February wanted to make a point, its Thursday follow-up featured a wrathful bout of snow. And, much like the snow, we've discovered all the trends that are sticking. What's most evident? Streamlined silhouettes are here to say, as are structured bags. An ample dusting of color was also spotted throughout the streets. But in true New York fashion, things were coated in distinctly deeper tones like black and navy.
One thing we can attest to: Accessories, as always, are key. To really get a handle on things, take a peek. (What we mean is: so far, we're loving the bags.)

Sofia Vergara's Sexy Dance Moves Were the Best Moment of Last Year's Grammys - Hands Down!
Pitbull brought all the high-energy Latin flavor to the 2016 Grammy Awards stage last February. Mr. Worldwide - who won his first Grammy ever for his Spanish-language album Dale in a tie with Natalia Lafourcade - made Latinos everywhere proud with his sexy show-closing performance, featuring his hit "El Taxi" and his single with Travis Barker, Joe Perry, and Robin Thicke, "Bad Man."
Oh, and did we mention Sofia Vergara was there? On stage? Dancing? Because she was, and it was the best moment of award season without a question. The Colombian-born Modern Family actress slipped out of an "El Taxi" prop as Pitbull mentioned her name on his song and started shaking her hips in a short and sparkly gold dress. We're really not sure how anyone stayed seated at the Staples Center after that. Watch it all go down above - it's literally a performance you have to see over and over to believe.

This Harry Potter Theory About Dumbledore's Deluminator Will Break Your Damn Heart
We first encounter Dumbledore's mysterious "Put-Outer" early on in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, when he knocks out an entire street's lights with just a few clicks.
"It seemed to be a silver cigarette lighter. He flicked it open, held it up in the air, and clicked it. The nearest street lamp went out with a little pop. He clicked it again - the next lamp flickered into darkness. Twelve times he clicked the Put-Outer, until the only lights left on the whole street were two tiny pinpricks in the distance, which were the eyes of the cat watching him."
At the time, it seemed that the device was a nifty bit of magic just for turning lights off and on with flair - useful, but not so remarkable. We, of course, learn that the Put-Outer, or Deluminator, is much more. It was Dumbledore's will that the device be passed to Ron Weasley after his death, and Ron later discovers it's more powerful than any of them realized.
In The Deathly Hallows, the journey to find the Horcruxes becomes too much for Ron, and he abruptly leaves Harry and Hermione to continue the quest without him. His departure was due in part to the effect Slytherin's locket Horcux had on him, and he immediately regrets his decision to abandon his friends. Unfortunately, he is unable to find them again, until the Deluminator works its true magic, to lead him back to where his heart is, to be reunited with his friends.
A Redditor recently shared a moving theory about the nature of the Deluminator, which if true would illuminate Dumbledore's brilliance even more and further underscore the late headmaster's believe in the power of love. Read the theory ahead.
Based on the theory, Dumbledore designed the Deluminator using a branch of magic he knew Tom Riddle, later Voldemort, had an aversion to, making it less likely that Riddle would think to combat what he didn't believe was even worth considering. It also means that Ron's love for Harry and Hermione led him back to where he was needed despite how difficult their task was, because as the theory reminds us, "we need love the most when we are lost in the dark."

The NYFW Street Style Trend That Happens to Be Perfect for Valentine's Day
Sometimes, it's not about luxury handbags or designer shoes, but a common thread as simple as color that brings a new street style trend to light. Between the Fall '17 shows, it's bright pops of red on the outfits of style stars everywhere that's grabbed our attention - how could it not?
Coats finished in cherry, jackets trimmed in furry shades of ruby, and casual street separates washed in fire-engine red make these looks stand out from the pack, proving the classic notice-me hue is having a moment. The trick to wearing it is boldly embracing it in multiple shades, or using it strategically as an accent color. In both cases, it's guaranteed to cause some head-turning. How perfect for Valentine's Day.
Read on to get a glimpse of the trend taking the streets at NYFW, then shop the key pieces to get the look.
You'll Want Every Single One of J.Crew's Fall '17 Looks in Your Closet
If there's one expectation from a J.Crew presentation, it's that you'll always leave the event smiling. For its Fall 2017 collection, the brand brought back "friends" ages 9 to 67 instead of traditional models to help showcase 62 looks (34 women's and 28 men's). There was denim on denim, tulle meets tartan, camo print and satin, and other style mash ups that made us go, "why didn't we think of this??" As we examined each outfit, it reminded us why we love J.Crew in the first place: there was something for everyone. "Our clothes. Your style." said the show notes from Creative Director and President Jenna Lyons.
Diversity also wasn't the only thing J.Crew brought back for Fall. A glance around the room revealed the brand had reimagined its heritage favorites such as rugby shirts and critter pants, transforming past looks to fit the present. These vintage styles, which will be part of the brand's capsule collection next year, simply screamed, "old school is still cool." J.Crew once again has given us not only plenty of outfit inspo, but an overwhelming desire to shop the collection immediately.
25 Real-Girl-Approved Red Lipsticks You Need in Your Stash
Whether you're a serious makeup hoarder or just getting into beauty, you need to know this: owning one red lipstick is not enough. Even if you think you've found the perfect red, you should have varying shades of crimson for all occasions. But we get it . . . there are so many formulas out there, it's hard to sift through and find the best ones. Luckily, one Reddit user compiled a lipstick spreadsheet of fellow Redditors' favorite hues.
We've made it even easier than that! We narrowed down this list to our top picks, and then took quotes from the products' biggest fans - Sephora reviewers, Redditors, and MakeupAlley users - that prove how awesome they are. Just don't blame us if you blow your whole paycheck on red lipsticks.
The Ultimate List of the Best Bodyweight Exercises
Even if you've nixed your membership at the gym, there's no excuse to skip your workout. Forget the days of hauling around free weights, and focus on using your greatest tool - your body's strength! - with these 80 exercises. If you're trying to specifically focus on your upper body, lower body, or core or you want some new plyometric moves to get your heart rate up, click below to head to the right place.
Why Some People Sweat a Lot More Than Others
You're trucking along on the treadmill and as you reach for a towel to wipe off the perspiration on your forehead, you can't help but notice the guy to the right who's sweating so much. It looks like he jumped in a river. Why is it that some people sweat like crazy and some are barely glistening?
Sweating is the body's way of cooling itself off and maintaining a healthy temperature. You're born with between two and four million sweat glands. Women have more sweat glands than men, but men's glands are more active. How much you sweat depends on your gender, the number of sweat glands you have (more glands equal more sweat), how hot it is, how intensely you're exercising, or how anxious you feel.
The amount a person sweats also depends on how many sweat glands are activated and how much sweat is excreted from each gland. It turns out that fit men sweat significantly more than fit women. The same amount of sweat glands might be activated, but women produce less sweat from each gland. Fit people sweat more efficiently by sweating sooner during workouts, when their body temperature is lower. However, a sedentary person working at the same intensity will heat up a lot faster and possibly sweat more. Also, overweight people sweat more profusely than normal-weight individuals because fat acts as an insulator that raises core temperature.
Some things are in your control when it comes to sweating. If you're a coffee drinker, caffeine can increase perspiration, so if you're concerned, try cutting out that cup of joe. Drinking alcohol can have the same effect, so limit the cocktails. Smokers may also sweat more since nicotine can affect your hormones, skin, and brain. Wearing synthetic fabrics that trap in heat will make you feel more hot, making you more sweaty, so go for more breathable fabrics.
Unfortunately, some people suffer from excessive sweating, a common condition called hyperhidrosis. Their bodies' faucets turn on and their palms, feet, back, and face become covered in sweat, even if it's cold out or they're not moving. If this sounds familiar, consult your doctor to see what treatment options are available.
Brock Collection Delivers Big on the Polished, Ladylike Look You've Always Wanted
Fresh off the heels of their big CFDA win, Laura Vassar and Kristopher Brock, the husband-wife team behind Brock Collection, delivered a lineup of fresh - never fussy - ladylike looks for Fall 2017. That's the Brock collection MO. You'll recognize the romantic details, the sweet prints, and the signature silhouettes (poufy sleeves and cinched waists) that are quickly becoming a trademark of the brand and the #Brockbabes who wear it.
We suspect they'll love what's to come for Fall. More in the way of soft prints - gingham and florals that you could see on a Jane Austen heroine, somewhere on the English countryside. It has that sensibility; you could get swept up in the drama, particularly the red set of dresses that closed the show. Still, it never loses its modernity - everything with wearability, down to the brogues and denim. Suffice it to say, we all want to be Brock babes.

Prince's Music Is Now Available to Stream! Where to Listen

Prince William and Kate Middleton Manage to Fit in Beautifully Among Stars at the BAFTAs
Kate Middleton and Prince William arrived in style for the BAFTA Awards in London on Sunday. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took the red carpet by storm; Kate stunned in an off-the-shoulder Alexander McQueen gown while William looked sharp in a black suit and bow tie. The couple was all smiles as they headed inside and took their seats in the front row and despite being royalty, they managed to fit in pretty well among all the movie stars, including Naomie Harris, Nicole Kidman, Eddie Redmayne, and Andrew Garfield, who had a run-in with ex-girlfriend Emma Stone at a pre-BAFTAs bash earlier in the weekend. Kate and Will's glamorous night out comes after a whirlwind few weeks of charity events, including a day out with cute kids and a philanthropic foot race with Prince Harry.
There's Something So Satisfying About This Guy's Perfectly Organized Artwork on Instagram
If you're sick of scrolling through endless photos of latte art and sunsets on Instagram, we discovered the one account you need to start following for a much-needed change. Visual artist Adam Hillman specializes in assembling colorful masterpieces that are so incredibly soothing to look at. Seriously, just looking at them is sure to give you an eyegasm.
He transforms everyday items, from cereal and jellybeans to crayons and toothpicks, into true works of art. Each piece is perfectly organized in a way that will make any Type A person smile with delight. His intricate designs typically take up to three hours to construct, although some have taken him up to three days - talk about dedication!
We reached out to the creative mastermind to hear a bit more about what drove him to start crafting these aesthetically pleasing patterns back in 2015. "I'm inspired by websites like the Tumblr 'Things Organized Neatly', [the] subreddit 'Oddly Satisfying,' art historical movements like minimalism, and artists like Mondrian," he told POPSUGAR. He also takes time to consciously appreciate "the colors and pattern of everyday things."
Last year, Instagram "aesthetes" (a term for people who have a special appreciation for art and beauty) started noticing his one-of-a-kind work on social media, and his account skyrocketed from having fewer than 1,000 followers to more than 100,000 in 2016. Adam posts a different creation every few days, and also sells prints of his fun patterns on Society6. Sit back, relax, and read on to feel the soothing tranquility wash over you.
