The 4 Foods a Trainer Says You Should Never Eat

Despite its name, the Telluride WOW Fitness Festival isn't just about push-ups, crunches, and burpees. There is also great advice being shared - including this nugget from trainer Jonathan Ross: "One bad meal won't transform your body, just like one good meal won't equal immediate results; the body builds itself from habit." If you're curious to know which habits matter in the long run, Jonathan offered up his rules for things you should always - and never! - do when it comes to eating.

Always

Eat veggies and protein at every meal: We're not talking fried, cheese-covered, or canned vegetables, either. Not only are fresh veggies rich in vitamins and antioxidants, but their water and fiber content also help keep you full. If the thought of eating veggies all day long makes you gag, then get over it, says Jonathan. "Healthy food tastes boring for a little while. Your taste buds adapt." Alongside those veggies, make sure you have protein. Jonathan cites several studies showing that a diet rich in protein helps control cravings while also helping to build lean muscle mass, adding to the body's fat-burning potential.

Eat healthy fats: Forget what you think you know about low-fat diets; it's all bunk, says the trainer. Good-for-you fats help lower LDL (bad) cholesterol and boost your HDL (good) cholesterol; they've also been shown to reduce belly fat. Look to incorporate monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats into your meals while avoiding saturated and trans fats. Avocados, olive oil, and nuts are all great options.

Plan, prepare, pack: The best way to maintain a healthy diet is to be in charge of it yourself. Jonathan recommends cooking meals at home and packing your lunch whenever possible. Another tip: keep water and healthy snacks in your purse, car, and gym bag. This way, you won't be tempted to order out when you're on the go.

Be kind to yourself: Even with the best intentions, binge-eating might happen. Whatever you do, don't beat yourself up, warns Jonathan. "Handle slipups as nothing more than they are," he says. Consuming yourself with guilt can make things worse; part of sticking to a healthy diet involves feeling good about yourself and the choices you make.

Never

Drink calories: You've heard it before, but soda, juice, and other store-bought beverages are some of the biggest obstacles when it comes to maintaining a healthy diet. They contain no real nutrition and are basically nothing but sugar, the trainer adds. The one exception Jonathan makes for this rule are healthy smoothies. Look for recipes that contain fiber, protein, and healthy fats.

Skip meals: When you want to change your body, nutrition is key. "Fill your gut to lose your gut," says Jonathan. "It's the best way to lose weight and keep the body going." Jonathan also advises to eat "real food" - the more you know about where it came from or what it's made of, the better. Eat four to six small meals each day, and make sure that protein is a component in everything you eat, he says.

Eat fried foods: Yes, Jonathan did say that occasional indulgences are OK, but fried foods are something he almost always steers clear of, saying they're "completely destructive to the body." Fried foods are widely available (and cheap), making them hard to steer clear of, but the amount of trans fat they contain should be enough to scare anyone, he says.

Eat sugars or grains at night: While Jonathan is a huge fan of whole grains, he says to avoid them at night, along with sugar and starches. Just like trainer Bob Harper, Jonathan believes that breakfast should be the heartiest meal of the day; from there, gradually lighten as you get closer to dinner. Starches and grains are more calorie-dense and unneeded at night when the body is winding down, says Jonathan.

18 Songs From the '90s That Will Take You Back and Give You All the Feels

Listening to Latin radio in the '90s was like going on a roller coaster. One minute you were singing along to Shakira's lyrics filled with teen angst, then the next you were getting down to the "Macarena," and a few later you were weeping uncontrollably about your breakup to Ricardo Montaner.

Even with our emotions on edge, there was no better time for music. The proof? The best '90s songs still resonate in 2017. Here are 18 tunes that will take you down memory lane.

NASA Wants YOUR Help to Discover a New 9th Planet!

If you've ever wanted to help discover a planet, now is your chance. NASA recently announced a new website that will accept assistance from the public to help find Planet 9 (also known as Planet X). The undiscovered planet is believed to be orbiting about 19 billion miles away from the sun.

The new website allows every day citizens to search through images captured by NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE) mission. According to NASA, the images "highlight objects that have gradually moved across the sky."

Any moving objects that are flagged by citizens would be prioritized by a team of scientists and later analyzed by a team of professional astronomers. If scientific findings are discovered, participants would also receive credit.

The space agency revealed moving objects are better detected by human eyes because "we easily recognize the important moving objects while ignoring the artifacts." This method of discovery was also used by astronomer Clyde Tombaugh in 1930 when he discovered the former ninth planet, Pluto.

"Backyard Worlds: Planet 9 has the potential to unlock once-in-a-century discoveries, and it's exciting to think they could be spotted first by a citizen scientist," Aaron Meisner, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, said.

This Is Weird, but Vin Diesel Just Added Vocals to Selena Gomez's New Single

This is something we never thought we would say, but Vin Diesel is featured in a new version of Selena Gomez's single.

The action actor spent some time in the studio over Valentine's Day with Kygo, the DJ responsible for Selena's newest song "It Ain't Me." In that recording session, Vin added his husky vocals to go along with Selena's angelic voice, and the results are weirdly . . . good? On Instagram, Vin showed his excitement for this new project, saying: "Thank you @kygomusic for producing this 2017 HIT! Thank you for believing in me enough to ask me to sing. Thank you @Selenagomez for bringing that beautiful and magical voice. Pained and celebratory simultaneously. I followed your lead when I went into the booth." Press play above to listen for yourself. We're still internally debating this one.

13 Standout Moments of Activism From New York Fashion Week

One important lesson the election has taught many of us is that anyone can be an activist. When New York Fashion Week rolled around, we waited to see what moves designers would make on the runway. How would they acknowledge the current political climate? Tommy Hilfiger kicked off the conversation with a show in LA that incorporated white bandanas (to show unity and inclusion) while the CFDA distributed pins in support of Planned Parenthood. No matter where you turned, most shows began and ended on a political note.

Likewise, models, celebrities, and influencers joined the conversation by whether wearing pink pins, a white bandana, or a shirt that said "F*ck Hate." Prior to NYFW, critics had chided the fashion industry for remaining silent on President Donald Trump's policies, but this community has never ignored the news; they were just waiting for the right time to speak out. And NYFW provided the perfect platform.

From first-time moms like Lauren Conrad and Amanda Seyfried to stars like Natalie Portman and Ciara, who are on their second bundles of joy, it's going to be a pretty fun year.

Mom's Plea to Keep Sick Kids at Home - Even If You Don't Think They're Contagious

Keep sick kids home

Update:
The original Imgur post has since been removed.

Original:

After a holiday dinner with family turned into a potentially life-threatening infection for her little girl, one mom is speaking out to warn all parents.

"Please. If your child has a cold, or a flu, or an upper respiratory infection, please keep them home and take care of them," Imgur user LauraCorreadaSilva shared along with a photo of her toddler in the intensive care unit. Chloe ended up hospitalized after playing with her cousin who was sick yet still came over for Christmas dinner.

According to the upset mom, her brother claimed that his daughter had a lung infection but wasn't contagious. Chloe quickly developed respiratory syncytial virus infection and the 3-year-old already suffers from asthma. Her mom shared that RSV can be very dangerous for kids with preexisting lung conditions and she is now on antibiotics and a breathing machine with her arm bandaged to keep the toddler from pulling out her IV.

Laura wrote that Chloe is fully vaccinated for her age. She explained that she's sharing her family's story to hopefully prevent others from going through what her daughter is experiencing and "as a warning that even though you may think your kid isn't contagious this can be the outcome."

This Imaginative Game of Thrones Theory Explains How Jon Snow Will Discover the Truth About His Parents

Spoilers for season six below!

Game of Thrones has a way of letting viewers get the tiniest bit comfortable before completely ripping the rug out from underneath them - and because we've grown so confident in our assumptions about Jon Snow's origins and how he'll find out about his parents (likely from Bran, who discovers the truth after warging back to the Tower of Joy in the season six finale), it would come as no surprise if the show decided to totally shatter our expectations.

An imaginative Redditor felt the same way, and came up with an interesting alternative to Bran filling Jon in on the secret. In a long, detailed explanation that provides 18 separate citations (including both proof within the series and iconic fantasy tropes that likely inspired the show's creators), Reddit user jamieandclaire theorizes that Jon will learn the truth when exploring the Stark family crypt after retaking Winterfell. We know now that it didn't happen this way in the finale, but as crazy as it sounds, there's still a chance that it might occur in season seven.

To start, the theory purports that Ned Stark, wanting to honor his sister Lyanna's memory without endangering her half-Targaryen son (Jon), had a tomb built for Jon within the Winterfell crypts. It is a Stark tradition to prepare these graves far in advance, and the crypt is huge - there are multiple levels, one of which was blocked off to regular visitors by rubble. Here's how the Redditor suggests the revelation would go down:

Jon, upon retaking Winterfell, decides to go down into the crypts to visit Eddard's grave, but finds that Ned's bones haven't come to Winterfell yet. He instead passes by the future resting places of his siblings . . .

He stops for a moment, sad with the new knowledge that there is no life everlasting for him or his siblings. Then, remembering his nightmares [about the crypt] (or perhaps finding some clue in Ned's empty grave), he continues down to the lower levels of the crypt in the growing darkness.

His finds his way is blocked by rocks and rubble from the collapse. He considers going back, but something catches his eye beyond the obstruction. He begins pulling at stones, and sees another tomb, prepared and empty.

Clambering over the debris, he walks to the tomb and holds out the torch in the darkness, wiping away the dust from the slab. And this is what he reads.

View post on imgur.com

While much of this theory is sound, some of the most convincing points actually come from the A Song of Ice and Fire book series, not the HBO show. Here are some of our favorite indications that Jon might learn his own story among the dead of Winterfell.

  • Jon Snow has dreams that bring him to the depths of Winterfell's crypt: "And then I find myself in front of the door to the crypts. It's black inside, and I can see the steps spiraling down. Somehow I know I have to go down there, but I don't want to. I'm afraid of what might be waiting for me," Jon describes in the first book. Additionally, the Redditor notes that "when Ned is killed, Bran and Rickon both dream of him in the crypts, sad, saying something about Jon."
  • Parallels between Bael the Bard's tale and the R+L=J theory: The story of Bael the Bard comes up multiple times in the series. Bael, the king beyond the Wall far before Jon's time, infiltrated Winterfell disguised as a singer and wooed Lord Stark's daughter. He "stole her away" (much like Rhaegar Targaryen is accused of doing to Lyanna Stark) in the middle of the night, leaving a blue Winter rose (Lyanna's favorite flower) in her bed. Many months later, the daughter returned with a baby of her own - she had never left Winterfell, simply hidden in the crypt. That son, the bastard of Bael the Bard, went on to rule the North. Can you see the connection between this lore and the theory about Jon's parentage? And it all comes back to one place: the crypt of Winterfell.
  • Foreshadowing from ancient Targaryen lore: Another story repeated in the series, points out the Redditor's theory, is that of Vermax the Targaryen dragon. Vermax supposedly laid eggs in the Winterfell crypt during a visit from Prince Jacaerys Velaryon, creating a theme of Targaryens/dragons being hidden in Winterfell's hall of the dead.
  • Ned Stark could totally have prepared Jon's grave in secret: Because the lower level of the crypt is blocked off by rubble, none of the Stark children or visitors would stray into the closed-off parts . . . plus, Ned Stark could have commissioned a stonemason to design the tomb without anybody finding out. Tyrion mentions in season two that stonemasons typically can't read - "He was a well-read stonemason? Can't say I've ever met a literate stonemason!" - which means that the words inscribed on the tomb would reveal nothing to the tradesman who carved them.
  • This theme would honor the fantasy tradition of Lancelot: The story of Lancelot (orphaned as a baby only to become one of Arthur's knights) is arguably one of the most famous in fantasy lore, time and again inspiring authors and filmmakers. "Sir Lancelot . . . conquers a keep called the Dolorous Gard where Queen Guinevere is being held. He renames it the Joyous Gard. In the graveyard is a tomb covered by a giant jeweled metal slab, engraved to indicate that only the man who conquers the keep will be able to lift it. He lifts the tomb's slab with ease, and beneath it is written 'Here will lie Lancelot of the Lake, the Son of King Ban.' He thus learns he is a prince inside a grave," the Redditor wrote. The similarities between Jon's storyline and Sir Lancelot's - including the variations of a "tower of joy" where a woman is being held hostage - could be a huge clue that this theory is accurate.

So, do you buy this insanely detailed theory? To be honest, we're fairly convinced. While only time will tell if Jon discovers his own truth in Winterfell's burial place next season, we'd be totally on board if it ended up happening this way in the show, the books, or both.

The Second Angelina Jolie Turns Around In Her Gown, You’ll See How Sexy It Really Is

Angelina Jolie's in Cambodia to promote her new film First They Killed My Father. For the special occasion she, of course, had to pack two different dresses. The star first stepped out in a lacey black option, which she looked radiant in. Later on in the day, Angie switched up her color palette completely - emerging in a hot pink gown that swept the floor.

The color was bold, intense, and definitely eye-catching but it wasn't until she turned around that we got the full view. While the front of her dress was covered up, the back was completely open to reveal her tattoos. "WHOA," we thought as we zoomed in on the sexy style. Leave it to Angelina to save the best surprises for last.

Selena's Father Is 1 Step Closer to Stopping Chris Perez's TV Show About the Singer

Selena Quintanilla's husband, Chris Perez, excited fans when he recently announced that his hit memoir about his life with the late Tejano superstar, To Selena With Love, is being adapted for TV.

However, according to a lawsuit filed by Selena's father, Abraham, it appears neither he nor production company Endemol Shine actually have the legal rights to move forward with the project, as Selena's estate, which is managed by Abraham, exclusively owns the rights to any "Entertainment Properties" - books, movies, TV shows, etc. - that use her name and image.

The suit also states that Chris signed an Estate Properties Agreement mere months after Selena's death in 1995, agreeing to the terms, so the book itself was actually published "unauthorized," without permission. Yikes!

Now, a Texas judge has denied Chris's motion to dismiss the lawsuit, meaning the legal battle will continue and Abraham might be one step closer to stopping the show from ever airing. An attorney working with the Quintanilla family, said to Forbes: "The family is very happy. We certainly agree with the Judge's well-reasoned ruling. There is no date set yet for trial. We intend on moving the case forward to vindicate our client's rights." Considering fans are super excited about the prospect of a Selena TV show, we are sort of hoping this can all be worked out.

How Supreme Leader Snoke Could Be the "Last Jedi" in Star Wars

Now that Star Wars: The Last Jedi is officially in a galaxy not so far away, we're revving up our engines and trying to figure out what will happen next. In January, the official title reveal for the film sent us into overdrive. Upon initial inspection, eagle-eyed fans have noted that the titles form a sentence. Then, of course, there's the larger and simpler looming question: who, exactly, is this last Jedi? Even though we've mostly been looking at the good guys as candidates, one internet theorist has turned to the dark side. Enter Reddit user AnakinKardashian (lol). According to the theory, Supreme Leader Snoke is the last Jedi.

The Strange and Recent Focus on Jedi History

Recent installments of the franchise have been drawing our attention to Jedi history. In Rogue One, we see the planet Jedha, which is where the nature of the Force was first explored and where the Jedi religion was essentially started. In The Force Awakens (this includes the movie and its novelization), we learn that Luke is in search of the original Jedi temple.

OK, So, What Does That Have to Do With Snoke?

It's no secret that Snoke is very, very ancient. In The Force Awakens, he says he witnessed the rise and fall of the Galactic Empire. This means he's been around since the Anakin Skywalker trilogy (Episode I - Episode 3), at the very least. But hey, there's nothing confirming or denying that he's older. It's aso worth noting that Kylo Ren's lightsaber is of a very ancient design. And guess where it came from? Snoke himself. If Snoke's aware of ancient lightsaber designs, his experience could stretch farther back than we think. Plus, his knowledge of lightsabers also would tie him, even if tangentially, to the ancient Jedi Order.

How This Could Tie Into The Last Jedi

AnakinKardashian posits that we could be venturing into Jedi history because the ancient order of the Jedi is much, much different from the Jedi as we know them in the present. "What if what we know as Jedi are not really Jedi after all?" the post asks. "What if Snoke is the last Jedi, in its original form?" If Snoke really is that last living member of the original Jedi order, it connects this new obsession with Jedi history, Snoke's age, Kylo Ren's ancient lightsaber design, and Luke's quest for the first Jedi temple. What's more, if the theory that Snoke appears in Rogue One holds up, it strengthens the argument even more. In the Star Wars universe, anything is possible, right?

Believe It or Not, Ivanka Trump's Perfume Is a Top-Seller on Amazon

While #GrabYourWallet encouraged people to boycott companies that retail Trump goods and major companies like Nordstrom stopped selling the first family's products, there are still people out there supporting Ivanka Trump's line. That, or they just want to smell like her (she is really pretty).

It turns out that Ivanka Trump's emponymous fragrance is a top-seller on Amazon. The simple peach bottle costs $35.

While it has five stars, reviews are mixed.

Some say positive things calling it a "cross between Flowerbomb and a Jimmy Choo" and saying "This is a good perfume for women who don't like to wear perfume."

While others have a different message: "The one that smells of Treason in the Springtime."

Hmm...is this just a great fragrance or is there something else going on with sales?

7 Reasons Toddler Boys are Terrifying and Terrific

"Boys are different." It was refrain I heard many times when I was pregnant with my now 21-month-old son, Sam. My daughter was almost 3 when he was born, and because she was my first and only, I figured all kids were pretty much like her: adventurous but initially cautious of new situations, overtly emotional (or should I say erratic?), and in my mind, wild because she was into everything, was constantly dancing and gyrating, and was often seen wearing few, if any, clothes. But, almost two years later, I've learned there's a difference between spirited and wild. My daughter is the former, and my son is most definitely the latter. He's all boy, and man, boys are different. Here (in my experience, which has been corroborated with many a mom-of-boys friend) is why.

  1. Boys keep you running. My daughter was busy, but she didn't have nearly the speed my son has developed in his short life. And that's why, in the last few months, I've begun feeling real empathy for those parents who put their kids on leashes. Pretty much every mom and teacher at my daughter's preschool know Sam's first name because they see me darting around the halls yelling it at drop-off and pick-up every single day. Turn my head for two seconds to, say, kiss my daughter goodbye or hang up her school bag, and bam, he's gone, searching through classrooms, hiding behind desks, or finding a stray Sharpie. Parking lots are an even bigger disaster, but no matter our location, these days you'll most likely see me in ready position: knees bent, legs wide, and arms out.
  2. Everything's a weapon. My daughter loves stuffed animals and dolls. My son prefers any object, toy or not, that could be used to hit someone over the head with blunt force. Sticks, brooms, and plastic guitars are his personal favorites, but he'll make do with whatever he can find. If he can only score something round and small, he's not bothered. He'll just throw it at your head instead.
  3. Their motto: the dirtier the better. There's not a day that goes by that, at some point, I don't cringe when I pick up my son. Sometimes it's because he's decided to pour an entire glass of milk or juice down the front of his shirt. Other times, his finger painting project at our gym's childcare has gone seriously rogue, or he's found an open toilet and decided to sample the water . . . with his mouth. He prefers to eat yogurt by the handful and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches inside out, licking the jelly off first. At our house, bath time is never optional.
  4. They are fearless. It took my daughter almost three years to go down a slide by herself without a prolonged internal struggle. My son went down his first slide, which included a rather dangerous and extended climb up an open ladder, at 18 months. I didn't even notice until he was halfway down (mom of the year over here). Before his first birthday, he was quite happy to jump in a pool, whether an adult was watching or not, wildly approach animals of all shapes and sizes, and launch himself off coffee tables, beds, and stairs, confident that either someone would catch him or he'd survive the fall.
  5. Climbing is their favorite pastime. There's nothing in my house that my son hasn't tried to climb, including my own body. But he really hit the jackpot last week when he realized he could move our kitchen counter stools around the first floor to reach even greater heights. I took my eyes off him for 30 seconds and he had pushed his new find over to the refrigerator and was switching off pushing our refrigerator's ice and water buttons. Yet another fun clean-up project for mommy.
  6. They shake it off. While my daughter's favorite song might be "Shake It Off", my son literally embodies the spirit of the song. Fell down a few stairs? He'll walk it off. Ran head first into a table? He'll give it a quick rub, and he's off and running. Even the scariest spills warrant just a few tears and quick hug from mom, and that makes him kind of awesome.
  7. They love their mamas. I expected to immediately bond with my daughter (we have the same parts, and I could already imagine how fun our future shopping excursions would be!), but I wasn't as sure how I'd feel about my newborn son. Luckily he made it easy on me, deciding that I was his favorite person on the planet at first sight and sticking to that decision for good (or at least for the entirety of his 21 months). Add in the constant unsolicited hugs and kisses and the fact that he, unlike his sister, is totally fine with whatever outfit I decide he should wear and whatever hairstyle tickles my fancy, and he's won my heart for life. Even when he's beating me over the head.

Valentina Sampaio Makes History as the First Transgender Model on the Cover of Vogue Paris

Brazilian model Valentina Sampaio has just made history as the first transgender model to appear on the cover of Vogue Paris. The March issue is typically the second largest issue of the year for magazines, signifying the gravity of Vogue Paris's cover choice. The headline reads "Transgender Beauty: How They're Shaking up the World."

The magazine, which hits stands Feb. 23, revealed the cover on Instagram with a caption reading:

"This month we are proud to celebrate transgender beauty and how models like Valentina Sampaio, who is posing for her first ever Vogue cover, are changing the face of fashion and deconstructing prejudice."

On the magazine's website, Editor in Chief Emmanuelle Alt spoke about the decision to cast Valentina:

"She is the absolute equal of Gisele, Daria, Edie or Anna. Apart from one small detail: Valentina, the femme fatale, was born a boy. [She] embodies an age-old, arduous struggle to be recognized and not to be perceived as something Other, a gender exile . . . But only when a transgender person poses on the front cover of a fashion magazine and it is no longer necessary to write an editorial on the subject will we know the battle is won."

Head over to Vogue Paris's website to see the rest of Valentina's stunning images.

How to Kill Your Sugar Addiction Before It Kills You

While excusing yourself from sugary celebrations is no fun, neither is dealing with a post-sugar-binge hangover. And on top of it, the more sugar you eat, the more you crave - it can take a few days to weeks to get over an addiction to refined sugar once you start. Not only that, but studies have shown that eating too much refined sugar can speed up your body's aging process. If you know you can't resist sweet temptations, read on to learn nutritionist-approved strategies that will keep you on the right track.

  1. Choose wisely: If you're going to indulge, go for seasonal sweets that you know you can't get when it's not the holidays. "You can have chocolate any time of the year," says registered dietitian, nutritionist, and Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics spokesperson Tamara Melton. Go for a seasonal dessert you crave all year, like a treat from an ice cream truck in the Summer or pumpkin pie in the Fall. Just remember that just because these treats are only available for a limited time doesn't mean you should go overboard. Practice portion control by having a plan, Tamara advises.
  2. Think positive: Set yourself up for success by telling yourself that you got this. "Words are powerful," says Kathie Dolgin, author of Sugar Savvy Solution: Kick Your Sugar Addiction for Life and Get Healthy. "If you think resisting sugar is going to be hard, it will be hard. Change that negative self-talk if you are going to take control of your diet and your health. Believe you can do this!"
  3. Not being hungry is key: Don't want to chow down on the entire candy bowl? Set yourself up for success by eating a balanced meal or snack every three to four hours, Tamara says. Simone Gloger, a registered nutritionist and Dukan Diet nutritionist, recommends three protein-rich meals and two protein-rich snacks every day to help you resist cravings. "I usually pack my lunch and snacks each day so I don't give into the temptation that is all around me," Simone says.
  4. Know that cravings might be something else: Before you reach for that peanut butter cup, think about what you really need. "People mistake thirst for hunger or cravings," Kathie says. "That dip in energy that sends you hunting for a snack is often just a sign of dehydration. So hydrate and hydrate and drink water, not juice or soda." Kathie recommends spa water - water infused with your favorite fruits - to hit sugar cravings the natural way. If you are craving a treat, opt for a small piece of dark chocolate or a single-serving yogurt that comes with sweet mix-ins like chocolate or granola, Tamara advises.
  5. Don't dwell: Tried your best, but couldn't resist the siren song of holiday treats? Don't beat yourself up about it. "Forgive yourself and get back on track," Kathie says. "Forgiving and being kind to others (as well as yourself!) boosts self-esteem and gratitude for what you have (thus combating the negative self-talk that can send you running for the cookie jar) and gives you the same endorphin rush as sugar." Afterward, make sure your next meal is only when you are hungry, Tamara says. "Resolve to eat healthier at your next meal, then load up on plenty of fiber-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains. Be sure to also include lean sources of protein, which help to keep you satisfied."

17 Times Eva Longoria's Love For Wine Was So Relatable

Sometimes we really feel Eva Longoria just gets us. That time she freaked out over Nick Jonas, that would have been us, too. That other time she couldn't stay away from Snapchat on vacation, we would have done the same. And every time she posts an Instagram snap declaring her love for wine, we feel like she gets our soul.

From perfectly-used hashtags (#wineoclock and #wino included) to memes of herself that crack her up as much as they do us, the newlywed star isn't afraid to shout her love for a good Cabernet Sauvignon from the mountaintops - she even designed t-shirts that show it for her The Limited line. Keep reading to see what we mean by taking a scroll through all the times Eva's love for wine was just as strong as ours.

Rihanna and Blue Ivy Carter Just Keep Running Into Each Other at the Grammys

Image Source: Getty / Christopher Polk

No offense to all the music greats out there, but Blue Ivy's Grammys night totally stole the spotlight. Not only did Blue delight us with her ecstatic reaction to Beyoncé's win, but she also crashed James Corden's "Carpool Karaoke" bit and even hilariously rebuffed a few celebrities when they tried to approach her. One of the most noteworthy moments, though, was her sweet passing with Rihanna. It's even more sweet if you remember their little interaction at the 2015 Grammys! Now, if only this could happen more than once every two years. Then we'd really be set. Check out their first Grammys rendezvous below.

Winter Reading List: 34 Books to Read Before They're Movies

There could not be a cozier Winter cliche than the idea of curling up with a book beside a fireplace, so let's just run with it. For the hands-down snuggliest indoor activity, we have a whole list of books - books that also happen to be next on Hollywood's list to adapt. Check out this list of books that will be movies soon, and you can decide for yourself if the book was better (it always is).

There's No Denying It: We've Fallen Hard For Phillip Lim's Fall '17 Collection

You'll notice that Phillip Lim's Fall '17 collection involved a bit of color. From the backdrop (a bright magenta) to the red runway to the outfits, there were pops of hues that weren't present in his Fall '16 collection. Don't let all that distract you from the real show, though: the clothes.

Lim sent 39 looks down the catwalk, working the idea of new romantics into every outfit. The first look was a pink, fuzzy tailored coat with a belted silver chain and black ribbon tied into a bow followed by a concession of airy midlength dresses and structural tops. A closer glance further revealed that the designer had remixed a lot of our favorite trends for the new season. Mesh tops were paired with pantsuits, bell sleeves were cinched with a tie, and puffer jackets took the form of trenches. Lim even kept a bomber jacket in rotation, cropped and paired with high-waisted trousers. The ingenuity of his Fall '17 collection is in the design and fit of the clothes, which made us fall that much harder for the line.

If you haven't figured it out by now, Lim makes clothes every woman wish she owned.

Drop Everything and Play This Beyoncé Video Game Right Now

Everything Beyoncé does is iconic, from her recent pregnancy announcement to her incredible performance at the 2017 Grammys. And let's not forget everything about Lemonade, like the visual, ethereal music videos and her jaw dropping tour. We're not the only ones obsessed with Beyoncé, either; a group of developers were so impressed with Beyoncé's "Hold Up" music video that they created an entire 8-bit video game about it.

The game, called "Lemonade Rage," features Beyoncé smashing things in her iconic dress from the "Hold Up" music video. The goal of the game? Get enough lemons to make lemonade by smashing cars, fire hydrants, and "Good Hair" ads. Be careful: you do need to avoid "haterz," Illuminati conspiracists, and bullsh*t as they pop up. As you play, you'll also hear an 8-bit rendition of "Hold Up" by 8 Bit Universe.

I've played it a few times and it's pretty addicting. And if you're anyone who is still outraged over Adele beating Beyoncé in several categories at the Grammys, like album of the year, you'll definitely find this game cathartic.

Oscar de la Renta's Cotton Candy-Colored Eye Makeup Was a True Treat!

Leave it to the Oscar de la Renta show to sweep into New York Fashion Fall 2017 with cotton candy, pastel rainbow eyes that are as whimsical as they are chic.

Each model wore a high-pigment (almost electric!) pink eyeliner on the upper lash line and then a pastel hue on top of the lid up to the crease. The eyeliner was thick enough to see even with the eyes open, and the whole look felt super refreshing and really playful. It was also a definite nod to the brand's storied aesthetic.

"Oscar de la Renta was all about beauty, but also the joy of life," Tom Pecheux, the lead makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics, explained backstage. "He knew how to incorporate a lot of color, and it was very important to carry on that heritage of the brand."

To re-create, apply a hot pink eyeliner against your top lash line and gently smudge it out before adding your choice of a cream or powder pastel eye shadow across the lid. Instead of using a "back and forth" motion when applying the color, pat the shadow on with a small brush to build up intensity.

We're giving this look five out of five heart-eye emoji. Swoon!

25 Reasons Moms Absolutely Need Wine!

My name is Kate (though I'm called "Mom" way more often), and I drink wine . . . a lot . . . like, most nights of the week, a lot. I'll admit to always loving a good glass of Sauvignon Blanc, but it wasn't until I became a mom that I started buying the stuff in bulk and thinking of my nightly glass not as a luxury after a hard day's work (did I even know what a hard day was?! Doubtful), but as a complete and utter necessity. You feel me, moms?

If so, then you know that a day spent with small children will give you about a million and one reasons to want a large glass of vino. Here are 25 that might sound familiar.

  1. Your oldest had multiple nightmares and your youngest wet the bed, cutting your longest sleep cycle to about two hours.
  2. At breakfast, you refereed a 10-minute fight over which kid got the yellow cereal bowl. Big loser: you.
  3. It's PE day and child has decided gym shoes make her pinky toes feel weird two minutes before bus's arrival.
  4. The babysitter canceled . . . again.
  5. Because you literally haven't spoken to an adult all day long.
  6. And haven't had a kid-free night away in a year.
  7. Your kids have stolen every other delicious thing you've tried to consume all day.
  8. You were forced to watch 2004 bomb Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed on Netflix . . . twice.
  9. Daughter asked how old you were. "Thirty-five," you responded. "Oh, I thought you were 100," was daughter's reply.
  10. Soon after, toddler jumped on your stomach, laughed, then told you, "Mommy, you got a big, squishy belly."
  11. In short, your children are both adding to and enjoying your physical demise.
  12. Ever watched a toddler try to open a Capri Sun?
  13. Two kids, one giant cart, one hellish trip to Target.
  14. Because the minute you pulled away from Target you realized you forgot the one thing you really needed.
  15. Because it's too late to drink coffee.
  16. Because it was 5 p.m. before you realized you didn't shower today.
  17. Son asked for chicken for dinner. You made chicken. No, he wants meatballs. You made meatballs. Wait, he really wanted a hot dog.
  18. What goes better with leftover chicken nuggets and half-eaten meatballs?
  19. Dad isn't getting home until two hours after bedtime.
  20. The only time you've had alone all day involved two minutes locked in the bathroom, with a toddler outside pounding on the door.
  21. Child has decided he will only bathe standing up, while constantly screaming.
  22. Because two bedtime books turned into 20 and a YouTube video about puppies.
  23. Toddler proceeded to cry about not having his own puppy and would only be calmed by juice, a cookie, and more books.
  24. Because you need to be reminded that you are actually an adult woman and not a baby servant.
  25. Because you have to do it all over again tomorrow.

Emily Ratajkowski Just Made a "Diaper Bikini" the Sexiest Thing on Earth

At first glance, Emily Ratajkowski's wearing a floral bikini any girl could get behind. The supermodel posted a throwback snap of her vacation in Greece, and honey, that called for some sexy swimsuits, accessorized to boot with body chains. When Emily shared a few different angles of her Dolce & Gabbana two-piece, we recognized its daring, cheeky allure.

From behind, her bottom featured just a tiny sliver of fabric. Yes, it's almost reminiscent of a diaper, albeit a very stylish diaper. Of course, Emily pulled off the look with ease, strutting her stuff along the beach and inspiring us to invest in the same floral bikini that will never stop turning heads. Read on to get a look, then shop a similar set.

Charlie Hunnam Mentions Marriage and Kids as He Considers His Work-Life Balance

Charlie Hunnam has been quite busy over the past few years, but he's working on finding more of a balance in his life as he considers marriage and children in his future. The actor stars in two big movies out this Spring, The Lost City of Z and King Arthur, and he's been working steadily since he wrapped Sons of Anarchy in late 2014. Back in December, Charlie acknowledged that he cut off communication with his longtime girlfriend, Morgana McNelis, while filming The Lost City of Z, admitting that the move was a bit too method. He elaborated on the struggle to find a work-life balance in the latest issue of Total Film, which is out now.

"I have an incredibly understanding girlfriend who is requiring more and more as we get older that I figure out a way to balance these things a little better," he said. "I've gotten off pretty easily so far, with being able to just disappear and be completely selfish and singular in my focus, but if we're going to start talking about having children and getting married then I'm going to have to figure out a way to balance that a little bit more effectively."

Add that to the many sweet things Charlie's said about his relationship. (And, yes, that's your cue to go ahead and swoon over the thought of him as a cute dad.)

La La Land: Is That Really Ryan Gosling Playing the Piano?!

La La Land is the most enchanting movie of 2016, but besides the singing and dancing, one particular element will dazzle you: Ryan Gosling's piano skills. He plays a struggling jazz purist in the film, and there are some musical scenes that may cause you to wonder if it's really Gosling playing or a body double. Shocking as it may be, it's definitely Gosling playing the whole time!

"In fact, there's not a single close-up shot of [the character] Sebastian's hands in the entire movie that's a piano double," director Damien Chazelle said at a press event for the movie. "It's all Ryan." Even John Legend, who has a smaller part in the film, was impressed: "I was jealous, man," he said. "Watching him play, I was like, 'Wow, this guy is really good and he just learned this in the last few months.' It's pretty amazing."

According to Gosling, it took him three months of lessons to learn to play jazz piano: "The director wanted to shoot all those sequences in one take so there was no opportunity to squeeze in, or sneak in, a proper piano player." How is one person this talented?

5 Shows to Watch If You Loved Sons of Anarchy

It doesn't matter how much time has passed since Sons of Anarchy ended (but for the record, it's been a year and four months): it still sucks that it's over. Sure, there may be a spinoff in the works, but what are we supposed to do until then? Nothing currently airing on TV is quite like the FX biker series, but there are a few shows that we would suggest if you're in a rut without Jax Teller and pals. Take a look to get our recommendations, and check out Charlie Hunnam's sexiest moments on the show.

George Clooney Admits He "Chased" Amal For "Many Months" After They First Met

George Clooney was once one of Hollywood's hottest bachelors, who swore he would never get married again (he was married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993), that is, until Amal Alamuddin (now Amal Clooney) came along. George first laid eyes on the human rights attorney at his home in Lake Como, Italy in 2013. During a previous appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman, the 55-year-old actor revealed, "We met in Lake Como. She was a friend of a friend who came to visit and then I chased her for many months, calling and writing, those kinds of things." George also admitted to Ellen DeGeneres that "from the minute we met, we just sort of felt like we were going to be together."

He ended up proposing six months later, and even though he had it all planned out, it ended up being "one of those horrible moments," he told Ellen. "I plotted the whole thing out. I had the ring hidden behind her. I had music playing, my aunt Rosemary's gonna sing 'Why Shouldn't I.' Everything was planned out . . . it was like 25 minutes. Finally I literally said, 'Look, I hope the answer's yes, but I need an answer 'cause I'm 52 and I could throw out my hip pretty soon.' And she said 'Oh, yes,' and it worked out really well."

Fast-forward a few months later and George and Amal are husband and wife. The couple tied the knot in Venice, Italy in September 2014, and are currently expecting twins (a boy and a girl)! Maybe fairy tales do exist.

Beyoncé Sweetly Cradles Her Baby Bump During an LA Shopping Trip

Ever since Beyoncé announced that she's pregnant with twins, we've been getting several adorable peeks at her growing belly. On Thursday, the "Sandcastles" singer showed off her baby bump while doing some shopping in Beverly Hills. Clad in a black t-shirt and white sneakers, Beyoncé sweetly cradled her belly as she walked with her bodyguard. Beyoncé's casual outing comes nearly a week after she attended the Grammys with husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Not only did she wow us with a performance of a lifetime, but she even made dreams come true when she met up with Laverne Cox in the audience. All we know is Beyoncé is probably having a better month than all of us.

Every Steamy Picture We Have of Ana and Christian in the Fifty Shades Movies

Ever since Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan stepped into the roles of Ana and Christian, they've been heating up our TVs with their onscreen romance - and we just can't get enough. While Fifty Shades of Grey was filled with some sexy moments, it was Fifty Shades Darker that really left us hot and bothered. I mean, who could resist Christian's scruff? Even though we have to wait nearly a year for Fifty Shades Freed, we can still reminisce on all the steamy moments the pair shared in the last two films.

Our Dream Cast For American Horror Story Season 7: The 2016 Election

Ryan Murphy has unveiled the theme for American Horror Story season 7, and we're 90 percent sure he's serious. The creator announced that the upcoming season will tell the story of the 2016 election (which feels more like an American Crime Story theme, but what do we know) and that it's likely a Donald Trump character will appear. We know that Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters have already been cast and while we're not sure where Peters fits in, we have a great suggestion for Paulson. In fact, we've gone ahead and cast Murphy's frequent collaborators as eight major figures from the election. Fingers crossed that all of this comes true.

Kate Middleton's Shopping the Runway at Fashion Week - or Haven't You Heard?

Every time Kate Middleton tries out a new designer, we keep a careful eye on the runway show. And since Kate recently debuted her first-ever Oscar de la Renta suit and has tried sexy-yet-sophisticated Altuzarra on for size, we assumed the duchess's favorites as we browsed through the new looks.

Kate has been a fan of some of these labels, like Jenny Packham, for quite some time. But we're daring her to wear flashy sequins and new shades as the most exciting Fall 2017 trends pop up. Scroll to see how we dressed Kate, then check out the wardrobe we chose for her last season, along with our imaginary picks for Michelle Obama.

Here's Another Harry Potter Detail We Can't Believe We Never Noticed Before

J.K. Rowling always surprises us with the amount of detail she poured into Harry Potter, and it feels like every day we learn something new about the series. Reddit user SunshineallDay's fan theory provides more evidence of how much Rowling hid in her books.

It might be hard to catch when you're first reading, but look a little closer and you'll see it. The fun Easter egg shows how Hermione's character learned Wizard Baruffio wasn't the most intelligent in The Sorcerer's Stone from Professor Flitwick. Later in The Order of the Phoenix, Harry and Ron are tempted to drink Baruffio's Brain Elixir before their O.W.L.s, but Hermione clearly recalls their lesson and pours the drink down the toilet. An image from the books highlighting these two passages is below.

It's a good thing Hermione confiscated it before you could buy it, Harry from harrypotter

As if we needed another reminder of how sharp Hermione is! Really, what impressed us most about this is Rowling's memory - and that we can keep rereading the books and find more fun coincidences like this.

The Delicious Ways Disneyland Is Transforming Fantasyland Into Belle's "Provincial Town"

As a huge Beauty and the Beast fan, I loved stepping into Be Our Guest restaurant at Disney World, but now Disneyland goers will have a chance to enjoy French cuisine, inspired by the animated film, as Fantasyland will transform into Belle's "provincial town" for a limited time.

Village Haus Restaurant, the Pinocchio-themed restaurant that currently serves flatbreads and brauts, will become Red Rose Taverne, a "lively French taverne with delicious, quick-service meals" Similar to Be Our Guest restaurant, the walls will be "[a]dorned with beautiful murals depicting favorite scenes from Disney's animated feature" and "each room of Red Rose Taverne tells a different chapter of the tale as old as time." There will be a menu change to feature French tavern foods and new signature beverages. The Disney blog promises, "We'll have details to share on these delicious additions soon - and yes, you will be able to try our own version of the Grey Stuff." Hurray!

Also, at Maurice's Treats Snack Cart (that serves twisted bread sticks) near Fantasy Faire, Disneyland promises new twists on the menu. "Marinara, strawberry, and even Grey Stuff dipping sauces will soon be available" to pair with the bread sticks. In case you're wondering what the "Grey Stuff" could possibly taste like, we've heard it's like Oreo or cookies and cream.
