Mom's Hilarious Photo Puts an End to Obnoxious Questions About Her Twins
"Oh, are those twins?!"
"Uh, yes, those two same-sized babies in my stroller are, in fact, twins. For the thousandth time." That's what Australian mom Annie Nolan was likely thinking when she drafted two signs answering 12 of the most-asked, most obnoxious questions she's gotten about her 2-year-old twin girls, Delphia and Cheska.
Although she didn't dare keep the signs affixed to her stroller while out and about, she did snap a photo to share on Facebook.
"As a twin mum, you get asked a series of questions [or] hear a series of statements every time you go out," she wrote on her Facebook post. "I know most people are coming from a great place and are just curious, however many can be quite intrusive and after a while it's just plain exhausting. And since I was heading into the city, I knew the questions would be coming thick and fast . . . but I chickened out on the train and took them off!"
Nonetheless, it seems people got her message. The photo has gone viral and has 23,000 "likes" and counting.
Still, we think that she should keep saying this the next time someone asks if those babies are twins:
5 Things to Crush, Crumble, and Smash With Your Citrus Squeezer
A citrus squeezer is one of those tools that you can get a lot of mileage out of just in its intended use. Think of all the dishes, sauces, and beverages that call for citrus juice - salad dressings, micheladas, and, of course, fresh-squeezed lemonade - the humble citrus squeezer makes it all happen. However, citrus fruits aren't the only food that you can fit snugly in the bed of a citrus squeezer and violently squish with glee.
In fact, there are items that are neither citrus nor fruit that can use some squeezing in order to yield something useful for cooking. Here are five completely unexpected foods that you can transform with a citrus squeezer.

10 Exercises That Burn 200 Calories in Under 3 Minutes
If you find it hard to lose weight with your busy schedule, the news keeps getting better. First, just 20 minutes of exercise was proven to help increase your metabolism. A related study has found that working out intensely for just 2.5 minutes can spur calorie burn throughout the day - an extra 200 calories' worth.
In the 2012 study, five healthy men performed sprint interval training on a stationary bicycle (five 30-second intense intervals with four minutes of easy cycling in between). Although the men were sedentary the rest of the day, they ended up burning 200 more calories during the days they did the short bout of exercise than the days they didn't exercise at all.
Even though this was a small study, the encouraging results are reason enough to add intense intervals into your workout routine. It's also good news for those of you who can never seem to fit a full workout into your day. Here are 10 intense exercises you can do anywhere for 2.5 minutes so you too can reap the afterburn benefits. Perform these at maximum intensity; you can break them into 30-second or one-minute intervals to make it more manageable. Stick with one, or choose five to do for 30 seconds each!
This Vintage Top Is About to Replace Your Basic White T-Shirt
One thing we can't deny is the rise of Gucci. Right now, it seems like every girl is coveting one of the brand's ubiquitous items, be it the fur-lined loafers, a logo belt, or an embellished bag. But don't knock the Trophy tee, a design that hails from Alessandro Michele's latest Cruise collection.
While it was amped up on the runway with a floral pleated skirt, ornate head wrap, and British flag platforms, bloggers and influencers are taking the piece - which retails online for $590 - onto the street. The shirt is most typically paired with a leather miniskirt to achieve '80s flair, but it's proving to be so classic that ladies are 'gramming it time and time again, showing off a wide range of outfits.
If we didn't know any better, we'd say the Gucci top's about to replace your standard white tee, so you best get your hands on it. Scroll to get inspired before you shop the exact style or similar but more affordable options we found online.

This Mom Gave Birth to 4 Babies in 11 Months and No, They're Not Quadruplets
A woman in Wales has given birth to four babies in just 11 months. No, they're not quadruplets, and yes, you read that right.
After welcoming her daughter in February 2015, Becky Johns and her partner, Jason, discussed having more children close in age to Mya - really close. The couple started trying for another baby right away and Becky got pregnant just a week after having Mya, but that's not even the most shocking part of the story.
To Becky and Jason's disbelief, they heard not one, not two, but three heartbeats at Becky's scan - triplets. "I had to stare at the screen just to make sure for myself," Becky told Barcroft Media. "And I counted the heartbeats one by one. It was true I was actually pregnant with triplets."
Although naturally conceived triplets tend to be rare, Becky's were even more so in that they each came from a separate egg, meaning three placentas and less chance of risks associated with the babies sharing a placenta. Becky gave birth to three healthy babies - Ryan, Phoebe, and Raya - via C-section last January.
"I was so huge by that time I could barely move and doctors wanted to get them out in case I went into labor early," Becky said. "I'd been carrying around nearly 15 pounds of babies. I couldn't believe it. But I was just so relieved they were all healthy and well."
Becky's wish for children close in age certainly came true, and the family couldn't be happier. Her 9-year-old daughter, Kayla, loves her baby brother and sisters, and Becky says that "it's lovely to think that Mya and the triplets will grow up so close in age."
Why I Became an American Citizen
That's my flag up there, as of June 15, 2012. That's the day I stood in a government building in New York City filled with people from basically every corner of the world, proudly swearing my allegiance to the United States of America as a brand-new citizen.
But the stars and stripes is not my only flag. I was born and grew up in Lima, Peru. I came to the US to attend college with a student visa and a scholarship when I was 17 and never left. After falling in love with this country (and an American guy), I got to stay, legally, without any issues. I know it's not that easy for everyone, that people fight hard to stay. As a recent immigrant, I know the idea of coming to the US in search of the American dream is not just an idea, it's reality. Even though I think this country, just like my birth one, has its flaws, I deeply love it and know many of the opportunities I've gotten in life could only have been given to me here.
Anyone who knows that I was born in Peru - that's everyone I know, because I volunteer this information without skipping a beat - asks me at some point if I ever think of "going back home." My answer: this is home. I've spent almost half of my life in New York, and as much as I miss my family and friends and speaking Spanish every day, I grew into an adult here, and I don't really know how to live in Peru anymore. The bottom line is I was a kid when I left, and now I'm a totally different person with goals and attitudes that were shaped by living in the US.
For me, becoming a resident was a given. My husband is American and our lives were here, so there was no question about staying. Aside from the process being nerve-racking, it was fairly easy for me to get a green card. I was lucky, and I know that. There were tons of forms and a huge file of evidence to show the relationship with my husband and our marriage were legitimate, but that was really it. The green card came in the mail three months after our immigration interview, and I held on to it for three years. The day that I was allowed to file for my citizenship - after three years if you get your green card through marriage; five if you did for other reasons - I did.
Having spent my young-adult years here, acquiring a New York accent, celebrating Fourth of July, and paying taxes, I decided that I wanted to be an official citizen. I would have been allowed to live in the US forever with a green card and as a legal resident, but I felt American as much as I felt Peruvian. For me, having a naturalization certificate said I chose to be part of this country as much as I chose to be part of Peru.
I want to be clear: I love Peru. I didn't leave the country because I didn't want to be there, but because the US was giving me a chance that I couldn't pass up. I am proud to represent Peruvians in the US. When I accomplish something, I want people to know that I'm both Peruvian and American, not one in spite of the other. Both countries made me who I am, not just one of them.
You're entitled to think otherwise, but in my mind, I'm the definition of what it is to be an American. I'm an immigrant with a complicated background and a wish to honor what this country gave me by being a standout citizen and fighting to make this an even greater place than it already is. My American passport doesn't make me any less Peruvian, and my Peruvian passport doesn't make me any less American. I'm both and unique, and that's what this country is all about.

Angelina Jolie on Brad Pitt Split: "We Will Always be a Family"
After shocking the world in September 2016 by filing for divorce from Brad Pitt after 11 years together and two years of marriage, Angelina Jolie is finally opening up about her new family dynamic. During an interview with BBC World News that was released on Sunday, the actress was asked about the split by reporter Yalda Hakim. "I don't want to say very much about that, except to say it was a very difficult time and," Angelina said. "We are a family and we will always be a family, and we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it."
Angelina, who was in Cambodia this week to promote her new film, First They Killed My Father, with her children, continued, "Many, many people find themselves in this situation. My whole, my family . . . we've all being through a difficult time. My focus is my children, our children . . . and my focus is finding this way through. We are and forever will be a family. I am coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer. It's been a difficult few months. Right now, I'm going through a moment when just everybody's in my room. Two dogs, two hamsters and two children at the moment. It's wonderful. But, usually, I just wake up trying to figure out who's going to get [the] dog out, who's going to start the pancakes and did anybody brush their teeth."
The star was also asked about where she sees herself in five years, joking that she'll be outnumbered in a house of teenagers. "At that stage, I hope just standing," she said. "In five years' time I would like to be traveling around the world visiting my children, hoping that they're just happy and doing really interesting things, and I imagine in many different parts of the world, and I'll be supporting them. Everything I do I hope is that I represent something, and I represent the right things to my children, and give them the right sense of what they're capable of, and the world as it should be seen. Not through the prism of Hollywood or through a certain kind of life, but really take them into the world, where they have a really good sense and become rounded people."

7 Potty-Training Tips From Real Moms
Are you longing to say goodbye to diapers but not sure when to start potty-training or how to go about it smoothly? Here to the rescue are the top potty-training tips from readers.
1. Be Patient
The top potty-training advice from many moms is to start only after your child signals her readiness. Usually children begin showing interest between the ages of 2 and 3. Keep an eye out for common clues, such as your child asking questions about the bathroom and toilet, staying dry for longer periods of time (indicating stronger bladder control), wanting to wear "big kid" underwear, or telling you when she's soiled a diaper. These signs of readiness may intensify gradually or, as Wisconsin mom Tracy M. found, appear quite suddenly: "One day she walked up to me, about three months before she turned three, and said, 'Mommy, I want to wear undies.' And since that day she has."
2. Make the Potty Fun
Several readers suggest making a potty chair or toilet seem interesting and nonthreatening. "We bought the potty chair and put it in the living room so he could play with it and sit on it for fun," shared Amy B. Others encouraged making "potty time" fun with special books or toys.
3. Skip Pants
Many moms find bare-bottom playtime can aid in potty-training. Amanda B., a mother of two children, shares: "I have just left her pull-ups off from the time she gets up in the morning." Of course, with this pants-free tactic, accidents are inevitable. To minimize messes, Lucy S. kept her 3-year-old in specific parts of the house while he was potty-training: "I blocked off rooms of the house where it wouldn't be okay to 'have an accident,' and just let him feel when he needed to go and run to the potty . . . after two days of wearing nothing and going when he needed to, he got it."
4. Offer Praise and Prizes
"Praise and prizes go a long way!" asserts Monica B., a mother of four in Wisconsin. "If they do anything, make the BIGGEST fuss you have ever made in your life. Cheer, clap, dance around . . . Make the child feel they have done something wonderful and they'll want to do it again and again." In addition to verbal praise, many readers have successfully used tangible potty-training reward systems involving candy, toys, and sticker charts. Renee H., a mother of two, remembers: "Each time he used the potty we made a huge deal about it and gave him a treat - M&Ms and Smarties worked the best. At first I gave him like six of one or the other; then as time progressed the treats got less and less until he forgot about asking for them all together."
5. Ditch Diapers
"Once you take off those diapers and put on the underwear, never put on the diapers again," recommends Emily M., one of several moms who argue that using diapers or hefty pull-ups after beginning potty-training is confusing for a child. Cecilia B., a mother of three children, also opted for training underwear, believing that training underwear is less comfortable after an accident than pull-ups or diapers and therefore more likely to encourage a child to use the toilet. Other potty-training moms follow a no-diaper policy during the day only, since nighttime potty-training often takes longer to achieve.
6. Ready, Aim . . .
The standing element presents additional challenges for potty-training boys. One trick many moms shared is to toss circle-shaped cereal (like Cheerios) into the toilet and have your son take aim. Brandie H., a mother of two boys, explains: "Get him a stool so he can stand up to pee in the big toilet. Throw a few fruit loops in the toilet. Have dad or an older brother show him how to pee in the toilet to make those fruit loops move around! You'd be surprised how fun that can be for a 3-year-old."
7. S#*! Happens
Just when you think you're done with diapers, your child may regress or have frustratingly inconvenient accidents. Christina H. remembers: "He was fully trained except for at night and then he went back to pooping in his pants. I wanted to scream." The truth is, accidents are a normal and common part of potty-training. "Have patience and expect setbacks," recommends Kelly S. And take comfort in the fact that the potty-training stage is just that: a stage.
What 1 Trainer Says We All Need to Eat More of to Lose Weight
It's time to add another voice to the ongoing debate of whether or not breakfast is an absolute must when it comes to weight loss. While Marie Purvis might not be a household name - not yet, anyway! - if you use the Nike Training Club app (free), then you've probably worked out alongside her and know how effective she is at pushing the body. Not only is Marie a Nike Master Trainer, but she is also responsible for designing the sweat-inducing, full-body workouts you'll find on the app. Marie's breakfast mantra? "Thirty grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking up." While 30 grams sounds like a lot to manage in one sitting, Marie told POPSUGAR that starting the day like this is essential for weight loss, staying lean, and powering through the day.
Marie explains that while asleep, the body is in recovery mode and essentially fasting. Once we get up and start moving, we're running on empty. If the body isn't nourished quickly, Marie says, it starts holding onto fat and burning muscle instead, which is a less-than-ideal scenario whether you're trying to tone up or slim down. Muscle is essential for burning fat - the less you have, the slower your metabolism. In essence, your body's calorie-burning potential slows down, she says. And while no one can accuse Marie of being a carb-hater, she puts an emphasis on protein in the a.m., because it's what gives the body the boost of energy it needs to perform at its best. Marie also adds that giving the body a good dose of energy-sustaining protein in the morning helps stave off fatty cravings throughout the day. All in all, it adds up to an energized, leaner you.
If 30 grams of protein for breakfast seems unmanageable, take a cue from Marie's typical meal: a spinach and turkey sausage scramble (whole eggs and egg whites) served with some quinoa. For those times when you're on the go, Marie recommends a hard-boiled egg or two along with a protein-filled smoothie.
ICYMI, There's a Finnish Word For Getting Drunk at Home in Your Underwear
Did you know there is a Finish word for drinking at home in your underwear? Indeed, Finland's Tourism Board put together a dictionary (complete with accompanying emojis you can download) of "hard-to-describe Finnish emotions, words, and customs." Included in the list of 56 phrases is kalsarikännit (pronounced cal-sar-y-cuhn-eet). It describes the "feeling when you are going to get drunk home alone in your underwear - with no intention of going out. A drink. At home. In your underwear. And there is a word for it."
If only we knew how to casually use kalsarikännit into a sentence. The Chicago Tribune questions what part of speech is kalsarikännit? Frankly, I don't know either. Until I cross paths with a Finnish person who can correct me, I guess I'll just use it as an ambiguous verb-noun-adjective. "Sorry, friends. Tonight calls for a kalsarikännit. I literally cannot wear pants a minute longer. I have only the physical strength to hold a glass of wine. You can find me on my couch. Bye." Thank you Finland for legitimizing this awesome, totally relaxing custom.
The Sneaker You Should Buy Based on Your Favorite Supermodel
One of the rules to mastering a model's off-duty look? Thou shalt have a pair of sneakers. Whether the ladies are heading to the gym for a boxing session or attending Fashion Week, they rock their favorite styles with pride. Models like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid probably have a lust-worthy sneaker collection, but we've noticed that there are certain brands they gravitate toward most. And (hint, hint), it's not Adidas's Stan Smith.
Though that sneaker reigned supreme in 2016, there were many more options out there that were just as cool. Your favorite It girls have branched out, sporting brands like Superga and Puma with their outfits. Read on to see which sneakers the ladies would likely vote for as their favorite, then pick up a pair for yourself to re-create their looks.

Why I Held My Son Up by One Leg at Target
It had to be done. I had no other choice.
Let me explain why I had to hold my son up by one leg in the middle of Target . . .
Just yesterday I found myself at Target. I had somehow managed to find a shopping cart that didn't have a squeaky wheel. I was so proud of myself. And because it didn't squeal like an upset child the whole way down the aisle, I had high hopes for my little shopping trip.
Owen sat sweetly in the front of the cart as I began to look at all of the different cards and party supplies. As I passed red balloons and bright green and blue gift bags, I noticed the bright fluorescent lights and elevator-sounding music that was playing. Owen didn't seem to notice. He was too busy playing with his little black seat belt. I turned my attention back to the party supplies. And for a whole minute I peacefully enjoyed all the different party options.
Owen was being quiet. That should have been my first clue.
If you are a mother, then you know that when there is silence, a mother's attention is needed. But by the time my eyes found Owen, he was escaping from his seat like a little wiggle worm. In a split second, he was standing up in the front of the cart, backward, and trying to break free from his seat belt! When I started to grab him, I had to unbuckle him in order to help him not be stuck.
If Owen could talk, I know he would have yelled, "Freedom!" Because the moment I unfastened his seat belt, he jumped. He dove toward the back of the cart head first as he tried to make his escape.
I literally caught him by one leg.
It had to be done. I had no other choice. I had to grab my son by one leg and hold him up midair. There I was, holding my 9-month-old upside down in the middle of Target.
Half snickering to myself, the rhyme, "Catch a tiger by his toe . . . " came to mind. But before I burst into laughter, I started freaking out. What if someone saw me? I could just imagine someone speaking over the intercom, "Crazy mom on aisle three! Get her!"
Thankfully no one saw our little stunt.

33 Thoughts All Moms Have Right Before the End of Maternity Leave
Officially returning back to work can be one of the hardest days for a new mom. It doesn't matter how long she had for maternity leave or how eager she is to get back to her career, this new stage can be more than daunting when the first day arrives. As a mom prepares to make this big transition in her newfound routine, these are the major thoughts running through her mind.
- Do I have to do this?
- How did the weeks go by so fast?
- Will my baby be okay?
- Will I be okay?
- What if I don't belong there anymore?
- I am so ready to get back to my old routine.
- How the hell am I going to handle my old routine - plus a baby?
- Is it too late to back out or try to extend my leave?
- Will my little one miss me?
- Am I a horrible mom for leaving?
- Is it even worse that part of me is excited, too?
- Do I remember how to hold an adult conversation - for an entire day?
- This is going to be harder than I originally thought.
- What if I miss out on something?
- I'm definitely going to forget something.
- I need to look my best - or at least the best I can at the moment.
- Is this just the beginning of working-mom guilt?
- I wish I had more of a choice about this.
- This isn't fair.
- Forget "easing" in, there's going to be nothing easy about this.
- Why do I feel so conflicted?
- Who is going to cry worse at the first goodbye?
- I can barely get everything done in a day as it is.
- Will I be able to disconnect when I'm not at work?
- Is work-life balance even possible?
- Ugh, I was just getting into the swing of things the way they are.
- Will people view me differently now that I'm a mom?
- Will colleagues assume I can't handle things?
- Is it normal to feel this way?
- I can't even remember what life was like pre-baby.
- How much coffee can I safely consume while breastfeeding?
- What if I made the wrong choice about child care?
- I'm doing this for my baby.

Ben & Jerry's Just Released 3 New Dairy-Free Flavors and We're Losing Our Vegan Minds
Last week, we stumbled upon this mystery superhero who speculated that our ice cream dreams were coming true and that Ben & Jerry's had some new dairy-free flavors on the way. Now the rumors have been confirmed, and excuse us while we run to the store. In honor of the one-year anniversary of selling dairy-free desserts, Ben & Jerry's announced the release of THREE new flavors, two of our classic favorites sans-dairy and one brand-spankin'-new drool-worthy flavor.
Two fan favorites - Cherry Garcia and Coconut Seven Layer Bar - have been revamped and made with almond milk to give us the dessert of our dreams, and the new flavor might be even more mouthgasmic. The new flavor, Caramel Almond Brittle, is also made with almond milk and filled with salted caramel swirls and pieces of almond brittle. Need we say more? See you later, Lactaid pills, we won't be needing you anymore before satisfying our sweet cravings.
Apologies for the late notice, but if we had plans tonight, we're going to have to reschedule. We've got a date with our two favorite men, Ben and Jerry, and three pints of the new dairy-free, certified-vegan flavors.

Blake and Robyn Lively Have the Sweetest Sisterhood, and Nothing Can Top That
There are a lot of things we love about Blake Lively (her fashion sense, her adorable daughters, her romance with husband Ryan Reynolds), but one of our favorites is her silly and sweet bond with her older sister, Robyn. The two, who are also incredibly close with their sister Lori, have never been shy about flaunting their sisterhood. From Blake channeling Robyn's iconic character in Teen Witch to them giving each other shout-outs on Instagram, we can never get enough of the Lively gals. Most recently, they laughed up a storm when they stepped out in New York City together in February. In our opinion, nothing can "Top That" (Sorry, had to).
