Drake Wishes Rihanna a Happy Birthday With a Special Performance in Dublin
Drake may currently be on his Boy Meets World tour, but he didn't forget about Rihanna's birthday. On Monday, the "Hotline Bling" singer paused his set to give his ex a special shout-out during his Dublin concert. "It's somebody's birthday today. Somebody I have a lot of love for and a lot of respect for," he told the audience. "Instead of singing 'Happy Birthday,' we're going to set it off just like this. Run it!" Drake then launched into a performance of their collaborations, including "Work" and "Take Care."

Back in October, it was confirmed that Drake and Rihanna had split following their brief romance. Even though a source said, "They will always be close. If they end up together, it could happen, but not now," Drake went on to date Jennifer Lopez, who finally discussed their short fling during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens next.

A Not-So-Brief History of All the Ladies Leonardo DiCaprio Has Dated
It goes without saying that Leonardo DiCaprio is a hit with the ladies - especially ladies who are probably tall, are probably blond, and have probably walked a runway. Over the years, the Oscar winner has romanced Hollywood actresses, Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover girls, and Victoria's Secret catwalk queens, all while trying to prove that he's just a regular guy who loves riding bikes around the city, texting his famous friends with club recommendations, and hitting the vape every once in a while.
While plenty of people pine for the love that Leo had with BFF Kate Winslet in Titanic (and sort of wish that they would get together IRL), the 41-year-old isn't really doing anything wrong with sowing his oats - just look at his fellow former Hollywood bachelor George Clooney, who definitely landed a catch when he married wife Amal in 2014. Leo himself revealed in an interview last year that marriage "will come when that time comes," adding, "You can't plan it. It's just going to happen when it happens." For now, we're looking back on Leo's relationship history, from the true romances to the rumored flings. Keep reading to see them all now.
Hacksaw Ridge: The Incredible True Story Behind the Oscar Nominee
With six Academy Award nominations (including one for director Mel Gibson and another for lead actor, Andrew Garfield), Hacksaw Ridge has emerged as one of the most lauded films of 2016. Both critics and audiences have praised the gritty war drama, which has racked up numerous international honors and over $150 million at the box office since its November release.
Those who haven't seen the World War II drama may not know that the onscreen story of Garfield's character is based closely on real-life soldier, Private First Class Desmond Doss. Even those who have lined up to see the film may not know just how much of the cinematic story was rooted in true events. As producer Bill Mechanic told People, he and Gibson "were very accurate with Desmond and what happened to him." That's not to say that the filmmakers were obsessive about every detail of Doss's life. "If you're a slave to the complete facts, then you're not making a movie that is compelling."
Here are the true elements that inspired Hacksaw Ridge, and the pieces that were fictionalized for movie magic.
Doss Was a Pacifist
According to Terry Benedict, who made a Doss documentary called The Conscientious Objector, the real-life subject of Gibson's film "just didn't fit into the Army's model of what a good soldier would be." Part of that perception had to do with Doss's outward appearance and demeanor; he's been described as a skinny kid from Virginia who spoke in a quiet Southern drawl. But the bigger issue was Doss's pacifist beliefs. As a Seventh-day Adventist, he refused to touch a weapon or work on the Sabbath. His fellow soldiers interpreted the lack of participation as laziness and considered him "their weakest link in the chain," according to Benedict. They harassed him verbally, and eventually physically, questioning why he had joined the Army at all.
He Had a History of Violence in His Family
In the film, a young Doss is fascinated by a framed poster of the Ten Commandments hanging in his home, and in particular, an illustration of the Sixth Commandment, which depicts Cain murdering his brother Abel. This detail is true to Doss's real childhood in Lynchburg, VA, where he grew up as the middle child of William, a carpenter and World War I veteran, and Bertha, a homemaker. Doss's father, who Hugo Weaving played in the film, suffered from alcoholism and depression related to PTSD while his mother (Rachel Griffiths) sought solace in religion and regularly attended church with her children. In the film, Doss is seen breaking up a fight between his parents and wrestling a gun away from his father. While the scene is based on actual events that inspired Doss's vow to never touch a gun again, the real fight involved his father and uncle.
His Real Love Story Was Different
On screen, Garfield's Doss falls in love with a nurse named Dorothy (Teresa Palmer) after taking an injured man to the hospital. In reality, Doss did indeed find love with Dorothy Schutte, but the two met at a Lynchburg church, not a hospital. The real-life couple wed in 1942 and had one son: Desmond, Jr. The couple remained married until her death in 1991 and Doss later married again to a woman named Frances Duman. They remained married until his death in 2006.
Doss Did Save Dozens of Lives
Thanks to a 1940 law, the Army couldn't turn away conscientious objectors like Doss; they were obligated to allow him to serve in a noncombatant position. Doss drew on his prior experience in the Philippines (which isn't depicted in the film) and deployed with the 307th Infantry, 77th Infantry Division in the summer of 1944 to serve as a medic. While it's undeniable that the real-life Doss ran through enemy gunfire in order to rescue fellow soldiers, the number of lives he saved is up for debate. Doss himself estimated the total count to be around 50, but the military insists the tally was double that amount. The filmmakers settled on a compromise, setting the number at 75.
He Made History
While some of the personal and chronological details may have been re-interpreted for the movie, one historic achievement that's preserved in the film is Doss's ultimate history-making recognition. President Harry S. Truman presented Doss with the Medal of Honor on Oct. 12, 1945, making him the first conscientious objector to ever receive the award.

Take a Trip Down Memory Lane With Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield's Relationship Timeline
Former couple Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have already come face to face during a handful of events this award season, including the Critics' Choice Awards, the Golden Globes, and the AFI Awards luncheon, where they had a sweet reunion while dropping by each other's tables. The two have been able to maintain an amicable friendship since their breakup in October 2015, but their recent run-ins and cute quotes about each other have us feeling nostalgic about the way they were. Now that both Andrew and Emma are confirmed to attend the Oscars - Emma nabbed the best actress nomination for her role in La La Land while Andrew is up for best actor for his role in Hacksaw Ridge - we're hoping for another heartwarming moment to add to our list. Look back on the details of their offscreen romance.
The Beginning
- Andrew and Emma met in 2011 on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man. They played onscreen couple Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, and a real-life romance soon developed. Though the pair often hit the red carpet together and showed sweet PDA on the streets of NYC, they were notoriously private about their relationship in interviews. Emma once told the Wall Street Journal, "I understand the interest in it completely, because I've had it, too. But it's so special to me that it never feels good to talk about, so I just continually don't talk about it."
- They zigzagged the globe together while promoting the superhero film in 2012 - as well as the sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, in 2014 - and also made time to promote causes near and dear to their hearts. Emma had Andrew by her side at a breast cancer foundation benefit in honor of her mom, and they both lent their time to children's charity events during many of their press stops.
- Emma and Andrew gave fans glimpses of their love during a steamy day on the beach and an especially goofy trip to Disneyland in 2012, which Andrew later revealed was "heaven" because they were high the whole time. In addition to their Spider-Man press, they also hit the red carpet for the Met Gala in May 2014 (Andrew's first) and at an NYC premiere of Magic in the Moonlight two months later.

The Beginning of the End
- By Spring 2015, Emma and Andrew hadn't made a joint red carpet appearance together in nearly a year. While Emma made the rounds during award season, attending the Golden Globes and the Oscars as a nominee for her work in Birdman, Andrew was noticeably absent from both events.
- In April, a source close to the couple confirmed to People that Andrew and Emma had decided to take a break from seeing each other, adding, "They're both a slave to their schedules. This time last year they were privately discussing marriage."
- Shortly after the "break" news broke, Andrew was photographed in Taiwan filming the Martin Scorsese film Silence while Emma was spotted looking happy and relaxed while at Disneyland with her brother, Spencer. She was also seen leaving her stylist's office in LA carrying a handful of shopping bags, one of which had "Andrew Garfield" written on it. This got us very excited about the prospect of a reconciliation.
- Emma and Andrew appeared to be giving things another try - or at the very least, doing their best to stay friends. In May 2015, six weeks after it was reported that they were on a break, People wrote that "their romance is back on," adding details about an LA sushi date that had taken place that week. Days later, they were seen leaving a Ralphs grocery store together.

The Actual End
- In October 2015, news broke that Emma and Andrew had decided to split for good. "They still have a lot of love for one another and they are on good terms with each another and remain close. It just wasn't working," Us Weekly reported. Much like in their relationship, both Emma and Andrew stayed pretty mum about the split.

What Remains
- Despite their not being a couple anymore, it seems like there's really no love lost between these two. In August 2016, Emma and Andrew were photographed having a friendly reunion in London, but before fans could jump at the chance to speculate that they had rekindled their romance, the rumors were shot down - People reported that "they're definitely not dating," and the world let out a collective "ugh."
- Just when we were starting to be OK with the whole thing, Andrew added salt to our wounds. During a December 2016 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the actor was asked who he would want to be stranded with on a desert island. "Emma Stone," he replied. "I love Emma. She's all right. She can come."
- Award season approached, and both Emma and Andrew were garnering industry praise for their work in La La Land and Hacksaw Ridge, respectively. They were both in attendance at the Critics' Choice Awards in December, and while we never got photographic proof of a reunion, we were delighted to see the two having a friendly chat during the AFI Awards luncheon a couple of weeks later.
- Emma was once again in the spotlight when she took home the best actress award at the Golden Globes in January 2016, and Andrew was once again front row for her big night. When Emma's La La Land costar Ryan Gosling approached the stage to accept his best actor win, Andrew and Ryan Reynolds - who were also nominated in the category - shared a kiss for the cameras to comfort each other. Later, in the press room, Emma reacted to the stunt like any shocked ex would, first acting nonchalant and then letting out a laugh.

Use This Pro Tip to Run Without Feeling Like Your Lungs Are Imploding
A couple weeks ago, we headed to the track at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco for some running drills with Adidas athlete and pro marathoner Neely Spence Gracey, who taught us an ingenious breathing trick for running longer without feeling like our lungs were going to implode.
Breathing is one of the most challenging aspects of running for beginners. And as a powerhouse endurance athlete, Neely has mastered the art of maintaining speed and power for hours on end, meaning she's had to fine tune what she eats, how she moves, and most importantly, how she breathes.
Her key to breathing success and more comfortable lungs? Match your breathing to your steps. "Breathe in for two steps, breathe out for two steps," she said. Neely suggests that if you're running slower, try breathing in for three steps, out for three; or even four and four. Find the pace and counts that work for you, and keep it consistent.
It seems simple, but it'll keep you from exhausting yourself or even hyperventilating. It will also ensure a steady delivery of oxygen to the muscles that need it most, so fewer chances of cramping or injuring yourself. Now remember: inhale, exhale. You've got this.

I'm Black and Latina: How I Embrace Both Sides
Living in the melting pot that is New York City, I don't often have to give much thought to my racial identity. Passersby on the street or the cashier at the bodega aren't really paying much attention to where I'm from or why my hair curls the way it does - unless, of course, the bodega man is trying to get my phone number.
That diverse bubble can make me forget about the challenges of growing up the product of an African-American father and a Puerto Rican mother in white suburbia. But watching an episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac recently (don't judge me, I'm a proud reality TV junkie), transported me to high school for a moment. When a black housewife pressured a fellow cast member, whose mother is African American and father was Jewish, to identify her race, I had flashbacks of the black kids in school telling me I wasn't black enough or joking that I was Mexican. It reminded me of explaining to my white classmates that yes, it is possible to be both black and Puerto Rican, and that no, they could not touch my hair.
A few days later, a work associate said she had no idea that I was Puerto Rican because I'd previously simply said I was mixed. I clarified that yes, I'm mixed, with both black and Puerto Rican. The conversation was quickly over, but I couldn't help feeling like I was in that same hot seat at the Real Housewives table, struggling to find the answer: had I answered wrong the first time around? How do I identify? Biracial? Multiracial? Mixed? African American? Black? Latina? Hispanic? Afro-Latina? There are a ton of options in my case, and I wondered if maybe it was time for me to have a go-to response ready for these situations.
But being biracial and figuring out the answer to "What are you?" is more complicated than you might think, all because of one emotion: guilt. When someone asks me my race and I say African American before Puerto Rican, is that a betrayal to my grandmother, who came to the Bronx from Puerto Rico with little to her name? And when an online job application doesn't allow me to check both Hispanic and African American - seriously, people? It's 2016! - is simply selecting Hispanic disloyal to the grandmother who regularly took me to the Blacks in Wax Museum and taught me to be proud of who I am?
To figure out the answer to "The Identity Question," I looked to both sides of my family for inspiration. Despite some major bumps along the way, they were somehow able to blend two cultures and redefine what family meant to them. Holidays have included mac and cheese, pernil, collard greens, platanos, and plenty of hot sauce for both sides. And while my dad's family might stumble over Celia Cruz anthems, everyone knows the words to Michael Jackson songs. If my family can create their own unique racial identity, then so can I.
So to all future employers, guys I will date, or reality stars, here's how I identify: I am Arianna. I'm a writer with big hair, a passion for travel, and an obsession with Drake. I also happen to be black. I also happen to be Puerto Rican. I am Latina, I am African American. I raise my fist just as proudly during Black History Month as I do during Hispanic Heritage Month. I don't have to put myself in a box, and I sure as hell don't have to check just one box on a job application or dating app. I am the sum of all the things that make me who I am, from mac and cheese to platanos, with a little hot sauce on top.
This Smartpad Seamlessly Uploads Your Handwritten Notes and Drawings to Your Device
If you're like me and prefer to write things down on paper, you've probably experienced the hassle of having to type out your notes to have a digital copy. Or you've facepalmed when you realized your forgot your notebook at home when you needed it for a meeting. Enter Bamboo Slate, an innovative smartpad by Wacom that eliminates any of those issues by seamlessly digitizing your notes and sketches. With a push of a button, anything you write or draw on the smartpad's surface will convert into a digital format and appear on your device.
How It Works
Bamboo Slate comes with a special pen that writes and feels like a normal ballpoint ink pen. Because it's pressure-sensitive, the smartpad can detect hard or light strokes. Worried about losing it? The smartpad can track the pen's location. Though you do have to refill the ink cartridge every now and then (product comes with one refill), you can use any paper on the Slate, even a napkin.
After you connect the Slate to your phone via Bluetooth, download the free Inkspace app (available on iOS and Android). The Inkspace app is where all your work will be uploaded. Once this is done, all you need to do is push the smartpad's single button to convert your writing into JPG, PNG, PDF, or SVG file formats.
See it in action in the video below!
What It Comes With
- Bamboo Slate with notepad
- Pen with one refill
- Micro USB cable for charging
Perks
- You can organize, edit, and share your work on iOS or Android devices.
- You can add strokes and color with editable digital ink.
- You can sync to Dropbox, Evernote, and OneNote in addition to Inkspace.
Final Thoughts
I can definitely see myself putting the Bamboo Slate to various uses, like converting my calligraphy into digital images and keeping all my work notes organized. I was pretty surprised at how the smartpad picked up my writing so accurately. It was easy to figure out, and the one-button function made uploading my work so simple. I can also see this device being useful for college students, artists, and anyone who prefers paper to digital - you get the best of both worlds!
And in terms of competitive pricing, the Bamboo Slate is cheaper (and larger) than the Moleskine Smart Writing Set. The small Slate is $130 (size of an iPad) and the large is $150 (about A4 letter size) compared to Moleskine's $199 notebook. I also like that I can use any kind of paper for the Bamboo Slate, whereas the notebook requires both a special pen and paper.
Overall, I'm excited to see what this smartpad is capable of!

Ed Sheeran Adds a Surprising Twist to His Latest Performance of "Shape of You"
Ed Sheeran lead the pack of celebrities at Wednesday night's Brit Awards in London. Not only did the singer get all dressed up for his walk down the red carpet, but he also performed both of his new singles, "Castle on a Hill" and "Shape of You." Wait, but that's not all! Sheeran also added an epic twist to his performance: he brought out rapper Stormzy to remix the latter song with a stellar new rap verse, and it totally amped up our love for the song even more. (Which, by the way, we thought was impossible.) Watch the stellar performance above.
Blue Ivy Might Not Be as Big of a Basketball Fan as Beyoncé and Jay Z
Beyoncé and Jay Z made a family outing with their daughter Blue Ivy on Sunday night. The trio was spotted sitting courtside to check out the NBA All-Star Game in New Orleans and looked to be having a fun time in their front-row seats. Beyoncé covered her growing baby bump in jeans and a floaty Gucci kimono while Blue looked equally adorable in a green Gucci dress and denim jacket. The noted basketball fans were likely in the building to cheer on their pal LeBron James, who led the Eastern Conference against Warriors stars Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant on the Western Conference. At one point, they shared a sweet moment while being introduced and projected on the big screen. Though Blue seemed a little unimpressed with the game overall - it's not like LeBron is that cool or anything - she did have a lot of fun distractions, eating cotton candy and Skittles, playing with a paper fan, and even getting to meet the mascot.
We got a glimpse of Beyoncé on a casual shopping trip in LA last week before the Knowles-Carter clan jetted off to New Orleans to attend a Saint Heron event hosted by younger sister Solange on Saturday night. Their time in The Big Easy comes nearly a week after Beyoncé made headlines by gracing the Grammys stage with a stunning performance of "Sandcastles" and "Love Drought" and being beat out by Adele for the album of the year award. Despite the loss, she, Jay Z, and Blue all seemed to have a great time at the ceremony and afterparty.

We Know You've Been Wondering What Michelle Obama Has Been Up to Since Leaving the White House
When Barack Obama officially left the White House on Jan. 20, not only did we lose our beloved president but we also had to say goodbye to our fearless first lady, Michelle. On Inauguration Day, Michelle and Barack released a video detailing their plans for the coming months, which included getting some sleep, spending quality time with their family, and taking a break from social media - you know, normal stuff. While many of us are still reeling from their departure, it's safe to say that Michelle is doing just fine without us.

Peeps-Flavored Oreos Don't Taste Like We Expected - but You Should Try Them Anyway
Oreos With Marshmallow Peeps Flavor Creme ($5) are rolling out to shelves nationwide, and POPSUGAR received a first taste. Before we dive into our review, let it be known this is what inspired Oreo to develop such a wild flavor. In an email release, the brand told us, "For generations, Peeps Marshmallow Chicks have been a spring staple and a symbol of Easter. Now, the two iconic brands, Peeps and Oreo, spring into the season together." We're certainly on board with this partnership, but now for the important stuff, like how this crazy concept actually tastes.
Upon opening the package, a burst of marshmallowy scent reminiscent of Marshmallow Crispy Oreos wafts out of the package. Yes! So promising! The neon-pink creme filling and golden Oreo cookies certainly are festive and very Spring-like. Biting into the cookies, reviewers noticed there's an unexpected crunchiness due to the sugar crystals added to the creme. While there's no marshmallowy consistency to the creme, Oreo at least nodded to the sugar-crystal-coated Peeps with this addition.
Some noted that the creme filling didn't taste like Peeps or marshmallows; this disappointed a few, while others expressed relief. Many thought it tasted more like buttery vanilla birthday cake. I myself found the icing to be much softer and creamier than the typical Oreo, but there's a slight waxiness too, like the creme takes longer to dissolve in your mouth. One shocking and slightly hilarious discovery we made: the icing will dye your tongue bright pink!
Our reviews spanned from three to four stars, so overall Oreo did a fairly decent job of Peep-ifying its creme. While it may not be as memorable or delicious as the beloved Marshmallow Crispy flavor of 2014, it's still tasty enough to enjoy for the season.

2017: The Year of Unfair Wins

Aren't we used to this feeling by now?
I've been asking myself and my like-minded friends this question a lot lately, and it came up again on Sunday night, when Adele was called to the Grammys stage one final time, for her album 25's win for album of the year. Obviously, Adele is incredible, but even Adele was flabbergasted by the fact that Beyoncé's Lemonade - a history-making, multimedia, cultural touchstone of 2016 - didn't win. "What the f*ck does she have to do to win album of the year?" Adele herself asked in the press room, just after her win.
We don't need to have the conversation of which album was "better" or who's the more talented between two of the most talented women of our generation, because we're looking at the bigger picture. When you look at the history of album of the year, there's a clear disconnect happening with the Recording Academy, and a conversation about race that can't be ignored. Regardless of how you feel about that assertion, if you were one of the millions of Lemonade fans, one thing is certain: Beyoncé was robbed.
Which brings me back to my question: aren't we used to this feeling by now?
Nov. 8, 2016, was the first time it happened. The heartbreak that voters felt over Hillary Clinton's loss to Donald Trump was profound for a country that would be retiring its first black president. Like the glass ceiling that didn't get shattered by Clinton's would-be victory, learning that arrogant white billionaire Trump would be the 45th president made us feel like we were stuck in suspended animation. Or worse, going backward. Up was down. Wrong was right. The lesson trumpeted out was that you could work the hardest, do everything the right way, and still, you'd lose.

In the political realm, the series of losses has piled up: Trump was officially confirmed by the electoral college in December. Betsy DeVos was confirmed as secretary of education. Jeff Sessions was confirmed as attorney general. And it wasn't like we've all been helplessly watching. We voted. We donated to causes that needed it. We participated in marches, wrote postcards, called our elected officials - and the sense that people would do the right thing on our behalf slipped away as the headlines confirmed the worst.
In its wake, the pop culture of 2017 has been following a similar downward spiral, and the Grammys weren't the beginning of it. The Super Bowl became more than the two best football teams in the country competing against each other. Again, the sides of right and wrong seemed to rise up again as the vitriol toward Tom Brady and the Patriots morphed their potential win into a black mark on the year. Brady, seen as a cheater since the notorious Deflategate (and, incidentally, he's actually friends with Trump), represented the white, privileged brat who flouted the rules. Race also infiltrated the divide, as Saturday Night Live's Michael Che joked about it on Weekend Update the night before: "I just want to relax, turn my brain off, and watch the blackest city in America beat the most racist city I've ever been to." Of course, the Patriots won after the Falcons whiffed a 28-3 point lead. Like the Adele/Beyoncé talent debate, the emotional response overtook the logical argument of who played better. That defeated feeling was back, and then it returned two Sundays later for the Grammys.

It's not nearly over, either; in the pop culture world, we still have the Oscars to look forward to, and Casey Affleck is probably going to win the best actor Oscar despite the allegations of sexual assault, despite the outrage, despite another award season hopeful whose Oscar chances were dashed long ago due to similar circumstances.
It's also far from over politically, too, which we painfully remember each time someone reminds us of Trump's four-year term. But even if we can't change things there now, it would be nice to see some progress at the award shows that reflect the art of our time, if they could strive to be on the right side of history. All anyone has to do to take part in the positive change is to start paying attention to these conversations and what's behind them. Like Frank Ocean memorably advised in his pre-Grammys takedown: "Use the old gramophone to actually listen, bro."
Lion: How the Movie Stays True to The Real Story
Lion, a film you should see with your family, has been earning award season love for its stellar performances, but also because of the incredible true story at its core. The film is based on the life of Saroo Brierly (played by Sunny Pawar and Dev Patel), who was separated from his family in India as a child and subsequently adopted by an Australian couple and relocated to Hobart, Tasmania. As an adult, Saroo couldn't shake the memories of his birth mother and siblings, and became fixated on finding them. The film stays fairly true to the real Saroo's story (which is also documented in his memoir, A Long Way Home), but there are always a few changes when a true story comes to life on film; here are a few of the key differences (spoilers ahead!).
- Saroo's birth father isn't seen or spoken of in the film, and in real life he left his family two years before Saroo's disappearance.
- Saroo had another brother, Kallu, in addition to his sister Shekila and his brother Guddu (who passed away shortly after Saroo went missing). Kallu is not mentioned in the movie. Currently, Shekila is a schoolteacher and Kallu is a factory manager.
- In the movie, Saroo's girlfriend is named Lucy (played by Rooney Mara). In real life, her name was Lisa.
- Upon their reunion, Saroo's mother was able to recognize her son partly due to a scar he earned as a boy after hitting his head on a rock while being chased by dogs. In the film, he gets the scar trying to carry a watermelon and is hit by a motorbike.
- As well as Google Earth, social media also played a role in helping the real Saroo put the pieces together. He used the social media sites to connect to Indian people and ask questions about his background. It was the administrator of a Facebook group that ultimately confirmed where his hometown was located.
- Saroo's mother had met with a fortune teller who told her that she would find her son someday. At that point, she gave up her exhaustive search for her son, and left their reunion to fate.
- Saroo still lives in Hobart, but communicates regularly with his family in India.
How the Stars of Feud Look Compared to Their Real-Life Counterparts
The premiere of Ryan Murphy's next TV venture, Feud, is mere days away. In the months leading up to the release, the various trailers and other miscellaneous details have clued us in on exactly what we should be expecting. Season one is set to focus on the epic face-off of Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, which came to a head when the women came together to star in What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?. Since the show hones in so closely on such specific people in such a specific era, we couldn't help but wonder how closely the TV show's cast aligns with each real-life star.
12 Gowns We Want to See on the Oscars Red Carpet
This year's talented lineup of Oscar-nominated actresses deserve a nod for their red carpet looks alone. All award season long, newcomers like Ruth Negga and vets like Meryl Streep have wowed with glamour befitting the Hollywood movie stars they are.
With Sunday in our sights, we're admittedly fixated on what this A-list crew of presenters and nominees will wear, so we're putting our expertise to good use. Armed with our favorite selections from Couture Week and Fashion Month, we're here to humbly offer up a few suggestions for Emma Stone, Naomie Harris, Viola Davis, and the rest. And, at the very least, we can hope - flip through for the 12 gowns we're wishing for on Oscars night.
